2024.05.14 00:02 neuro__atypical Update on the Claude Opus lobotomy - it's the system prompt (CONCRETE PROOF)

I use Opus for neuroscience research. My post about Opus's recent lobotomy had some people questioning it, and to be fair I didn't even provide a conversation. Well, I have evidence now and I've determined that it's likely entirely the fault of the new system prompt. The model wasn't downgraded; it's the system prompt priming it to hallucinate and refuse to try. Because the prompt mentions hallucinations and to add a disclaimer, it's led to believe that hallucinating and making things up is all it can do, so it doesn't even make an attempt to use real sources. If you understand how LLMs work, this makes perfect sense.
Below is concrete proof. As you probably know, the Opus system prompt was changed a few days ago. Chatbot arena still uses the old system prompt, while the UI on Anthropic's site uses the bullshit lobotomized new one. Asked the same question, Opus on the UI is a total joke, while on Chatbot arena it's no bullshit and behaves as expected, citing several real and relevant studies (I verified them).
Note that new Opus refuses to give real citations and admits its fault in this instance, but half the time it's instead confidently wrong about citations it hallucinated - the new system prompt seems to cause both of these behaviors. Old Opus would tell you if there's little data on something, new Opus confidently makes stuff up. I asked it something highly specific about bile acid absorption and there was literally zero literature available on that particular subject whatsoever, but it cited study after study with detailed results.

Context: Hello! I am planning to move to Calgary at the start of next year with my partner and we’re looking to buy a used car (2005-2010, under $15k).
Appreciate auto insurance varies quite a bit depending on a number of factors. I found a few insurers that recognise an Australian driving record, including Belair and Alpine.
I have 2 options to get a driving record from a local licensing authority:
  1. Complete driving record + 5 year demerit point history
  2. Complete driving record + complete demerit point history
I am 27 and haven’t had any accidents /demerits points taken in the last 5 years. When I got my licence at the age of 18 (almost 10 years ago), I did lose a few demerits for speeding (minor offences, all under 10km/h over speed limit)
Question: Should I get the complete demerit point history (will show some fines from 2016/2017) or is the last 5 years sufficient? The objective (obviously) is to get the cheapest insurance rates possible! Thank you in advance. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

The original WWE Smackdown vs Raw title from ’04 is one that often gets overlooked in relation to the PS2 era of gaming. WWE Smackdown vs Raw was developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ and was the sequel to the critically acclaimed WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain game from 2003. WWE Smackdown vs Raw had better and more smooth graphics than Smackdown: HTCP which a minor improvement. The biggest improvement that we got in WWE Smackdown vs Raw compared to Smackdown: HTCP was the inclusion of voice-over acting from actual Superstars in the Season Mode. Similar to the Season Mode in Smackdown: HCTP players could choose a variety of top stars including the champions and challenge for certain titles. WWE Smackdown vs Raw included both pre-match & mid-match mini games which added to realism to the game making it look more like something you would see on television. The inclusion of game modes like Create-a Wrestler, Create-a Championship along with players having the ability to make their own PPV were all strong positives in the original Smackdown vs Raw title. The inclusion of Bra & Panties matches was also pretty cool but the divas roster in WWE Smackdown vs Raw game was very limited. WWE Smackdown vs Raw also had a variety of different match types including Single, Tag-Team, Handicap, Triple-Threat, Hell in a Cell, Ladder, Six-Man Tag along with Parking Lot Brawl which was a new addition. WWE Smackdown vs Raw is quite possibly one of the most underrated pro wrestling video games from the 2000’s decade. Despite, the original SvR game not getting the attention it deserves the game still managed to be the prequel to quite one of the greatest wrestling titles of all-time Smackdown vs Raw 2006. The original SvR is still a very fun game to play 20 years later some people prefer it over a majority of pro wrestling games that came out during the 2010’s decade.

Additional info : I had one breakup some time back, but other than that been single. Two of those astrologers told me I will be in relationship with my current crush (one of them described her accurately), another one told me I will meet someone new through a relative. Interestingly, all of them said it will happen next month. As it happens, I was already planning long time back to ask my crush out after my 29th birthday, which is next month lol.

2024.05.13 01:13 twiggs462 Audi A4 B8 Hard Start after to Tune Up

I did a tune up on my son's new car. Needed some work as it was misfiring. Initially this started out trying to figure out why it was misfiring, but I believe that was spark plugs and coils. While I was in there digging around I decided to take out the O2 Sensors, Crank Shaft Sensor, Cam Shaft Sensors and replace them as well. These were cheap sensors off of Amazon, but since writing this have ordered OE ones from FCP Euro hoping they fix this new issue.
The old crank shaft one broke off and I had to fish out the round plastic part from the block. The inside of the sensor came out of it's housing shell.
After putting this all back together. Car takes a good 30-45 seconds to start (didn't before). EPC and Engine light came on, but now the misfire I believe is gone. When I got it started took it for a nice ride and it seemed fine.
My thought is can the Crank Shaft Position sensor I put in might not be working well. It is a cheap one off amazon. Wondering if this or the cheap cam shaft position sensor are the issue. I am not the best at reading into these items, but I will post my new scan here to see if you can shed any light on it.
I really appreciate the help and ideas of why this is happening?
