Recently I purchased a used vehicle from a local branded car dealership. There was a dash light lit up that I noticed while test driving. Car drove fine and otherwise checked out. I agreed and signed the paperwork for the purchase under the condition they take care of the issue causing the light themselves. They agreed and said they would take care of it the next day & I should leave the vehicle there till it’s fixed. I have been calling back daily for updates and they have been giving me the run around. First call: “we replaced sensor A but it didn’t fix the problem. We will do more digging.” Second call: “we just replaced sensor B but that didn’t fix the problem either, we don’t know what the problem is but will keep looking” At this point communication becomes difficult. Whenever I call in for updates they say my salesperson is off that day & no one else is knowledgeable about the situation. I ask to speak to the sales manager & the receptionist says they are busy and will have to call me back. I never got a call back. The next day I call again and it’s the same thing. Finally the following day the salesperson calls me back & says they have found the issue but the part has been back ordered since the Covid chip shortage. He assures me they have found a different vendor and will have the part in no time. 3 days later still no update. I reach out again & salesperson assures me it’s on its way & even sends me a picture of the part which shows the website they ordered it from. After a google search I found the website they ordered from sells “high quality used parts sourced from vendors with little to no corrosion”. The part isn’t even advertised as refurbished or reconditioned only used. I’m worried since it’s a used part that it will likely fail prematurely & I’ll be stuck having to fix it again. It has been 2 weeks since I purchased the car & I still haven’t even been able to drive it off the lot. They haven’t even offered a loaner or anything of that nature. The Car was purchased in Illinois. Any advice or input is greatly appreciated.

"Himiko?" Kokichi knocked on the door to Himiko and Tenko's room later that night. Himiko had taken a long nap after such a disappointing day. "Alright, Monkey Buns!" he cheered, giving her a high five and then a hug. "Same place?"
"Alright," Himiko nodded. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her. She remembered what Kokichi had told her earlier about being smart and confident her way. "But, on the way over there, can we stop by my, um..." She paused to whisper. "...secret lair? "
"Ooooh?" Kokichi murmured with a curious smile. "Yeah, we can stop by." Himiko nodded and retreated back into her room to grab the two tin bowls of cookies she had baked with Three and Ten.
"Nyeh...okay, I'm ready," Himiko said. Kokichi took her hand in his, and the two crept downstairs. Some of the others were still in the dining room eating dinner, so Kokichi and Himiko had to leave through the front door to get to Himiko's secret magic room under the gazebo. Kokichi stood outside to keep watch while Himiko went inside her magic room. Once inside, she went for her magical dream powder bottle and poured some of its purple, sparkly contents into a small vial, hiding it in one of her jacket's pockets. Then, she met back up with Kokichi.
"Now I'm ready," she said.
"Okie-dokie!" Kokichi replied, taking the tin bowls from Himiko to hold them for her. "Let's go, HimikoCocoa Bean!" They then hurried over to D.I.C.E. headquarters.
"Boss!" Four said, jumping up from the couch. "And Boss Lady!"
"Hey, Ichiro," Kokichi and Himiko replied.
"Wanna hear a song that I heard on the radio?" Four asked. He cleared his throat, and began singing without waiting for a response. "If you like piña coladaaaaas, and getting caught in the rai-"
"Okay, Ichiro, that's enough," Kokichi interrupted, wincing from Four's terrible voice.
"Urgh...thank you!" Five exclaimed as she wrapped Kokichi's cape around him. After Three placed Kokichi's hat on his head, she turned to Himiko.
"So, Himiko, did you sell a lot of cookies?" she asked eagerly. Himiko gave her an apologetic look and shook her head. Three's shoulders slumped.
"Oh..." she said softly.
"What? Why?" Ten asked. "Did they not like them? Because I put all my blood, sweat, and tears into those things! Er...well, not literally...duh."
"Yeah, I hope not!" Two exclaimed, sticking his tongue out in disgust. "I bet there are people in this world who actually do stuff like that!"
"Nee-heehee...I know a very horny someone who'd do something like that," Kokichi said.
"The tin bowls are still so full!" Three said, her voice dripping with disappointment.
"It's not really the cookies that people didn't like, Keiko," Himiko said. "It was because of me."
"What exactly do you mean by that?" Nine asked.
"Well, I'm not really popular at school to begin with," Himiko said. "But, I wasn't really trying my best to sell them because I didn't think I could."
"Ouch," Six muttered.
"Oh, well...still!" Three huffed. "They could have at least tried your cookies, anyways! Those...those...clowns! " Then she turned to nobody in particular. "No offense, me," she mumbled to herself before turning back to Himiko.
"Hey, no offense to the rest of us, either!" Four said.
"Should we take offense?" Nine asked. "It's not like we're actual professional clow-"
"We get it, Hideyo!" everyone but Himiko interrupted simultaneously.
"Nyeh, well...anyways, thanks to Kokichi, I've decided to try again," Himiko said, giving Kokichi a shy smile.
"Aww, HimiCocoa Bean, you're making me blush!" Kokichi teased, wrapping his arm around her waist. "But, I only get half the credit. You should give yourself credit, too!"
"And you should give us those cookies," Four said, pointing to the tin bowls in Kokichi's hand.
"Himiko, are you still going to sell these?" Kokichi asked. Himiko thought for a moment. She remembered what Tsumugi said about chocolate chip cookies being plain and boring.
"No," she finally answered. "Actually, I've decided to go with Ten's plan from earlier."
"Right! Um...wait, what plan was that again?" Ten asked.
"The plan to make the snickerdoodles," Himiko said.
"Oh, yeah!" Ten remembered, a grin crossing his face.
"But, I wanna add a secret ingredient of mine," Himiko said.
"I hope it's not blood, sweat, and tears," Two said, shuddering.
"Why not?" Seven asked with a creepy smile. "Don't you like that salty, metallic flavor in your cookies?"
"Ew! Yuck! Kokichi, make her stop!" Five said, covering her ears.
"Tsukiko, don't make me tell Emi to get Mr. Sparkles," Kokichi warned. Seven hid under a blanket.
"No, please. Anything but that accursed pink and plushy unicorn!" she hissed. Five grinned smugly at her.
"Can we help you bake again, Himiko?" Three asked hopefully.
"Nyeh...of course!" Himiko answered.

"Neat-o! Let's get started!" Ten said, rubbing his hands enthusiastically. Kokichi nodded to Himiko encouragingly, and she followed Three and Ten to the kitchen. They soon got started on the batter. Himiko removed the vial of dream powder from her pocket.
"Oooo! What is that stuff?" Three asked, entranced by the purple, glittery powder.
"Hopefully the thing that'll win over any potential customers," Himiko answered before pouring the powder into the mixture. She mixed the batter until it became a shiny, glittering harmony of many colors.
"Holy Constantinople-y!" Ten exclaimed. "What the heck kind of secret ingredient is that?!"
"The batter looks so...pretty!" Three breathed in awe. "It's so...shiny and sparkly!" Then, she lowered her voice. "Is this...some of your magic, Himiko?"

Sunday afternoon. Himiko took a deep breath, deeply breathing in the warm air as a gentle breeze flowed around her. Today, she felt lucky. She stood behind her table at the front of the school. Above her was a more colorful, glittery sign she and Three had worked on with the word, "Snoozydoodles," written in swirly letters. Hopefully it would be enough to bring in some customers. Her snickerdoodles were laid out on three large trays in front of her so that the other students could see their colorful and sparkly design.
"Hiya, Himiko!" came a cheerful voice. Himiko looked up and was surprised to see Three.
"Keiko?" she whispered. "Nyeh...what are you doing here?"
"I decided to come and cheer you on...and to make sure the turd buckets here buy your cookies," Three replied. "I put some love and special care into those cookies, and I didn't bust my tail just to have nobody buy them!"
"Nyeh...but...Ten and I worked on them, too," Himiko pointed out. "And I put my 'special ingredient' in them."
"I know," Three said. "But, I feel like if I worked hard on something, either by myself or in a group, I'd like for the world to see it, that's all."
"I understand," Himiko said with a small smile. "Wait...this is supposed to be a competition between me and Kokichi! I don't think he'd appreciate you helping me out, especially since I should be doing this myself."
"Well, I'll just be here for emotional support, then!" Three said. Himiko smiled gratefully and nodded.
"I guess that's okay," she said. " Thanks, Keiko. I like your outfit, by the way." Three scanned her outfit proudly. Instead of her D.I.C.E. uniform, she wore an oversized, cream-colored fluffy sweater over a short, pink ruffled skirt. She wore a pair of white tights with some loose pink socks and a pair of black and white checkered lolita shoes with pink straps. In her hair were pink bows over each pigtail.
"Eeee! Thank you!" she squealed happily. "It's not very often I get to go out in cutesy clothes like this, unless I'm undercover! Well...I guess you might say I'm going undercover right now, but...eh, whatever."

That's why we have a codeword to tell the difference between members and the 'reggies.'"

"What's the codeword?" Himiko asked. Three leaned in closer to Himiko.

"'Funny business,' " she whispered.
"Nyeh...that's actually really cool," Himiko admitted with a smile.
"Yeah! You should really join, Himiko!" Three said. "I think you'll have lots of fun!"
"Fun with what?" asked Tenko, suddenly appearing with Angie and Tsumugi behind her. She had a frown on her face and marched right up to Three. "Himiko, who's this girl, and what's she trying to get you to join? WAIT!! Is this girl the friend you were talking about?! The one who helped you bake cookies yesterday?!"
"Yeah," Himiko nodded.
"Hey! I recognize you!" Angie said. "You're one of the girls who rescued Himiko from that crazy girl many months ago!" Three brightened.
"Yeah! That's me!" she said.
"Tuh...I could have rescued Himiko, you know," Tenko huffed, crossing her arms and glaring at Three.
"Well...why didn't you?" Three asked.
"Urgh...!" Tenko scoffed. "Who do you think you are?!"
"I'm Michika!" Three lied, using one of her aliases. "I'm here to support Himiko with her cookie sale!"

"No, um...Michika helped me again," Himiko answered. Tenko glared at Three and flipped her hair at her.

"Well, yeah, I guess," Himiko answered. "She wants to support and protect me all the time."
"Sounds more like she wants to breastfeed you, or wipe your butt after you poop," Three said in disgust. She and Himiko shuddered at the thought. "Well, anyways, now that 'Tin Cup' is gone, let's put you on the cookie map!"

Okay random but there are some errors with Reddit this morning and it won't let me upload my chart. Spoiler alert, I really don't need to do it in the first place bc the chart is pretty much unchanged. The entire market is pretty much in a holding pattern as it waits for CPI. PPI came out this morning and spoiler alert, it was hot. I think we were expecting that a bit as inflation proves sticky and I think overall a hot inflation report all but kills any hopes you get anything more than 1 rate cut this year.
Some people have been saying that they are still thinking 2-3 cuts and these guys haven't been paying attention if ya ask me. That is overly optimistic. The fed slowing down QT is a BIG BIG deal and that starts next month. That should bring yields on the 10 year start to drop. It's not going to be as dramatic as quantitative easing might be with the buying of treasuries. But it will really take away that upward pressure that has been on the 10 year which should help growth stock markets like us.
Why am I talking about all of this???? Well (may not seem like it at the moment) but we are a great growth stock. We are moving so flat and volume has completely dropped off as the entire market is waiting for CPI and ultimately NVDA's earnings. Seeing the meme stocks return was NOT on my bingo card for 2024 so good god. Massive speculation in the market is something to watch out for. If you see any crazy price spikes as dumb money flows in, I would be cautiously optimistic for sure.
AMD has really lost the narrative. I know this might not be popular to say but I've said it in the comments and discussion multiple times. Market is looking at new ATH and we are still soooo far off after literally DOUBLING our sales guidance. It's not a failure of execution. It is a failure of communication and narrative. Computex is our last really chance in the next 6 months to try to regain control of the microphone. I feel in my bones that Zen 5 is coming but we really need another "one more thing" moment that isn't super super technical. The fact that everyone is all quiet on MI300 chip sales and things makes me wonder if they don't want to sing the praises bc they already have a 2nd gen? They might be wanting to really just make it through initial order deliveries before seeing potential cancellations for 2nd gen. This is allllll just pure speculation here. There is zero data to support this.
I just remember when we were fighting these DC wars with INTC, it felt like there was articles every single day coming out about how Genoa and Epyc were destroying the competition. Now radio silence. And I don't know why???? I hope it is by design for some reason but if is not, then honestly every single person on their marketing team HAS to be fired. There needs to be a shakeup for real.
At the end of the day, This price action is giving us a decent value proposition for AMD where our valuation is starting to catch up to our share price. AMD isn't a value stock. If we were, then where is the dividend lol. I do worry that eventually shareholders are going to start to look for some sort of leadership shakeup and this is going to tarnish what Lisa has accomplished with AMD.
AMD it stuck in this middle ground of nothing and we are riding the bottom trendline of $150 for our channel. Hopefully we can hold on here but without holding support in this area, then we are being set up for a massive potential downturn if NVDA misses somehow. We are going to get crushed and get 3x the pain NVDA and we aren't going to get nearly any of the benefit if they beat. Welcome to the suck!

State of the consumer Are U.S. consumers finally tightening the purse strings? That's the main question on the minds of investors as major retailers kick off their quarterly earnings reports this week, starting with Home Depot (HD). The home improvement chain's Q1 results came in below Street expectations, hurt by a delayed start to spring, continued softness in certain larger discretionary projects, and higher mortgage rates.
Dig deeper: Retailer earnings come at a time when consumer sentiment is weakening, amid expectations of stickier inflation for some time to come and a tempered outlook for income growth. Investing Group Leader Bret Jensen believes stagflation is an increasingly likely economic scenario. "Right now, I believe the average American consumer has a better handle on the U.S. economy than the average investor and a better take on the true level of inflation than governmental statistics."
Scott Feiler, consumer sector specialist at Goldman Sachs, said the consumer spending concerns have been driven by updates by bellwethers in the sector, and the notable slowdown seen in April - one of the worst months of the retail quarter. Companies like Wayfair (W) and Whirlpool (WHR) have already warned that consumers are cutting back spending on big-ticket items, while fast-food chains such as McDonald's (MCD) and Starbucks (SBUX) have observed pickier and more value-minded customers. "Consumer cracks are emerging," especially among lower incomes, warned Bank of America analyst Savita Subramanian.
Earnings watch: Walmart (WMT), which will report Q1 results on Thursday, is expected to report modest upside to the consensus U.S. comparable sales estimates, driven by bargain-hunting shoppers. Also keep an eye on other retailers scheduled to report results next week: Lowe's (LOW), Target (TGT), TJX (TJX), and Ross Stores (ROST).
Sustained weight loss Patients who are taking Novo Nordisk's (NVO) blockbuster obesity drug Wegovy have reportedly maintained an average of 10% weight loss four years after starting the treatment. "We see that once the majority of the weight loss is accrued, you don't go back and start to increase weight if you stay on the drug," said Martin Holst Lange, Novo's head of development. The data could help Novo in its efforts to convince insurers and governments to provide coverage for the treatment. The U.K.'s National Health Service provides only two years of Wegovy coverage, while Medicare does not cover the drug. Resisting takeover Anglo American (OTCQX:AAUKF) has unveiled a major shakeup of the company - which includes divesting its steelmaking coal and nickel businesses - as the British miner aims to stave off BHP's (BHP) takeover bid. Anglo American will demerge Anglo American Platinum (OTCPK:ANGPY), while its diamond business De Beers will either be divested or demerged "to improve strategic flexibility." The overhaul is aimed at sharpening Anglo American's focus on its mainstay assets - copper and premium iron ore. "These actions represent the most radical changes to Anglo American in decades," its CEO Duncan Wanblad said. The plan was announced just a day after the firm rejected BHP's (BHP) new £34B proposal.
Power grid boost The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved two new rules Monday that are expected to make it easier to expand the construction of big power lines and bring more renewable energy to U.S. homes and businesses. One rule will require companies that produce and transmit electricity to weigh factors such as supply and demand over at least 20 years; the other addresses the permitting of critical projects in areas that lack adequate transmission capacity. The rule requiring long-term planning is "the biggest single action by the federal government to advance transmission," according to Rob Gramlich, president of power consulting firm Grid Strategies. Sony on Tuesday reported a 7% drop in annual profits in the fiscal year 2023, dragged down by a decline in its financial services division.
The company also narrowly missed its forecast for unit sales of its flagship PlayStation 5 gaming console for the full year.
Here’s how Sony did in the March quarter versus LSEG consensus estimates:
Revenue: 3.5 trillion yen ($22.4 billion) versus 2.89 trillion yen expected. That represents a 14% increase year-over-year — but the first drop since Sony’s 2020 September quarter, according to LSEG data.
Operating profit: 229.4 billion yen versus 236.81 billion yen expected. That marks a 57% jump year-over-year.
The Japanese gaming giant reported 2023 revenue of 13 trillion, an increase of 19% year-over-year.
Sony’s operating profit for the full year, though, came in at 1.2 trillion yen, down 7% year-over-year.
Sony narrowly missed its revised down target for PlayStation 5 sales. The firm said that sales of its flagship console totalled 20.8 million in the fiscal year 2023.
That’s slightly lower than the revised 21 million unit target that Sony gave investors in February. Prior to that, the company had forecast that its PS5 console would sell 25 million units for the full year.
Sony expects even weaker sales of 18 million units of its PS5 in the year ending March 2025, a company executive said, according to Reuters.
It comes after Sony on Monday announced a management shakeup in its Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) gaming unit, with the division’s interim CEO Hiroki Totoki becoming chairman of the business.
Long-time Sony executives Hideaki Nishino and Hermen Hulst were appointed CEO of the Platform Business Group and Studio Business Group, respectively — two newly created divisions of SIE.
Financial unit weighs on profit
Sony said its financial services business was the primary segment driving down profit.
In 2023, operating income in the financial services unit came in at 173.6 billion yen, marking a 22.5% year-on-year drop after a firm increase in 2022.
The company also suffered from a decline in its imaging and sensing solutions (I&SS) business, which houses its imaging chips.
Sony’s I&SS business recorded operating income of 193.5 billion yen, down 9% from 2022.
Sony said it’s forecasting a drop in overall group revenue for the current fiscal year. The company expects sales will reach 12.3 trillion yen for the year ending March 2025, down 5%.
Fiscal year 2024 operating income is expected to total 1.28 trillion yen, up 5%, Sony said in its consolidated results.

ASUS has released a YouTube video titled “The next ROG Ally is coming soon” in which it announces the launch of the new ROG Ally X gaming handheld, and confirms more details in an interview with The Verge.
The ROG Ally X isn't a next-generation upgrade to an existing product, but it directly addresses more key areas of gamer demand for ROG handhelds.
The ASUS ROG Ally X boasts a higher-end Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU than its predecessor, which is the chip of choice for 8-core handhelds, with 16 threads at up to 5.1 GHz, 12 RDNA 3 compute units, and 24 MB of cache.The APU's power can be adjusted between 9W and 30W, and with the ROG Ally X's upgraded cooling system. gamers can expect even better performance.
In terms of battery and storage, the ROG Ally X has seen major improvements. Battery capacity has been boosted by 30-40% and gaming time is twice as long as the previous generation. Storage supports NVMe M.2 2280 SSDs, so users can upgrade more easily. The Ally X also supports LPDDR5X-7500 standard memory, which will be more than the previous generation, although the exact capacity has not been announced. This means gamers can have more flexibility in allocating memory to the GPU without compromising CPU performance.
The size remains the same as the previous generation, with a 7-inch Full HD screen, 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits maximum brightness.
In addition to the hardware upgrades, ASUS also announced the release of the Armory Crate SE 1.5 software update. The new version has a cleaner and more intuitive UI, with new useful features such as quick access to the game favorites list. Users can customize the main UI to rearrange blocks, decide which games to display, and share custom button mappings and game settings with other users.The Armoury Crate SE 1.5 update will also be rolled out to original ROG Ally owners in July.
The ROG Ally X will be available in black and starting prices will also be offered.The 2023 model of the ROG Ally will also remain on sale with a possible price cut.
ASUS is expected to officially launch the ROG Ally X on June 2, 2024 at Computex 2024.

I recommend him the b650e pg Riptide which is 900 pln but it has slightly blue colour to it so he didn't like it since he's going for all black no rgb build

For example, I hire a guy to mow my lawn and he is 2 weeks over due for the second mow and my grass is over a goot tall. His automated system sent me 4 bills in 8 emails in one day for the first mow.
My son buys a very low milage car and the whole electrical system freaks out after 2 months. First shop has it 2 weeks and can't figure it out. Have it towed to the dealership 60 miles away and they say it will be fixed in a week for $300. Then it will be done in 3 weeks. Finally done after 4 weeks and it was over 2,000 for a headlight and chip it burned out. And when we pick it up it is so filthy it could almost be considered damaged and they forgot to change the oil so we had to sit there all morning.
I go to pay the quarterly trash bill, website down and bill never comes in the mail. They won't answer the phone and won't call back after multiple messages left with them. A few weeks later, website up and billing system is down. I finally find their office and physically go out and pay it. They act like I am crazy for expecting the website to work or expecting the bill in the mail at the appropriate time. Meanwhile I am just thanking my lucky stars they were in the office and let me pay it.
I got 100 more, from McDonald's messing up food to hospitals sent records to the wrong country! It seems to me, total incompetence in now the norm. Am I just the most unlucky person on earth or WTF is going on?
I sometimes wonder if every company got sold the same stupid ideas as my last job. The CEO got on this kick a couple years ago which goes about like this. If you spend 8 seconds per day doing this task and we can automate it then we save 8 seconds times five days times 52 weeks times your hourly pay etc. etc. etc. I try to explain to the dude, some stuff just has to be done and takes human decision making skills. He totally ignores me. A few years of that bs and the company sales drop dramatically, every day is a new catastrophe that I have to deal with and I finally quit. They still call and beg me to come back and fix everything 2 years later. Did every company get sold on this idiotic idea that you can charge customers and not provide any value at all?! I feel like I must be crazy or the whole damn world went and lost it's mind and I just have to go with the flow of stupid.

Switching over from A7IV to A6700 cause I need a lighter and more compact set-up.

Hello Guys, so I'm looking to get into the industrial side of maintenance in my area. I have mainly residential with a little bit of commercial experience. I went to trade school for HVAC in 2016 and know a good bit about that. I did a few years in property maintenance where I was a supervisor for a couple of years. I also did home remodels and renovations and worked with realtors to get homes ready for sale. I was wondering what certifications I can look into to bolster my resume. I have my EPA Universal refrigeration certification and am looking into getting an automation technician certification where I'll be taking PLC and robotics classes. I'm mainly interested in the PlC classes but these classes I can tie into an Engineering Technology degree down the road. I also live about 20 minutes where they are constructing one of the countries largest chip manufacturing plants as well and all the companies that will be moving in to support that business. Any guidance and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
