I'm based in Batam, Indonesia, and have been working remotely for a company in Singapore. Unfortunately, my current employer hasn't paid me for the past three months, which has prompted me to look for new opportunities.
Additionally, I've faced several interview rejections recently and would like to improve my chances moving forward.

1. How should I position my experience and skills when applying for new roles?

So with the new medbed respawn changes the Ursa or the pieces or cutlass red cant heal the worst level injurys.
Whats stopping me killing myself in my ship respawning good as new with no injuries?
Tiers of medbeds seem a bit redundant then? They may as well heal all levels of injuries for now? Otherwise people are just going to backspace to heal and there is going to be bodies everywhere increasing entity count, servers are going to need to clean empty bodies faster
For people saying spawning will need items and resources that need to be stocked Im talking about right now not the future.

Singapore, Bahrain and Taiwan servers are all dead and average around 5 people per lobby, even during new season updates. Tokyo servers are unbelievably laggy. Please help.

With that being said let's get to today's vote!
Today is day 27 of tier voting and today we'll be talking about the funky rock 'n' roll lizard from Generation 8 that was the signature Pokemon of the gym leader who was part of a band and said no words during his solo lol. Toxtricity is fairly popular and well-known for its signature ability which synergizes very well with its moveset. Toxtricity has an interesting and unique typing that only it and its pre-evolution have claim to. While it does have a 4x weakness to Ground both of its types are strong types offensively and give it immunity to 2 status conditions which means it certainly can find ways to fit onto a team. It has a pretty solid stat spread in its base form and it also has the benefit of most of its strongest moves being spread moves making it a strong choice for double battles. This game gives it several gifts including a very good passive to go along with one of its strongest moves, as well as some really good egg moves that synergize with its signature ability even further and a super good stat spread for its Dynamax form.
(Please note that Pokemon with Mega/Dynamax evolutions will be tiered as one Pokemon and not tiered separately for their Mega/Dynamax form. Different variants such as Alolan Persian vs. Kanto Persian will be tiered separately however.)

And here is a quick reminder of what each tier generally means:
S tier: Top tier, can make or break your entire run, essentially the cream of the crop
A tier: really strong but not quite top tier, maybe slightly outclassed or has a slight weakness holding it back
B tier: solid choices that can make it to your endgame team, might be reliant on team composition to truly function well or might just be outclassed as well
C tier: usually early-mid game Mons, ones you don't really want to take to end game if you can avoid it, usually pretty decently glaring weakness but something redeeming enough to keep from F tier
F tier: no reason to use in end game unless you're doing it for a meme/joke
Abstain/No Opinion: this will be a voting option mostly just in case someone accidentally votes and then can't remove their vote (I've noticed that happens on Reddit sometimes) or for Pokemon people haven't unlocked/used to their full potential yet. If Abstaining votes outvote each individual tier then the Pokemon will be tabled for the time being and another vote will open up for it later (can mostly see this happening with Legendaries).

I’m a huge Fromsoft fan, and have been trying to beat every boss in every soulsbornekero game before the ER DLC comes out. I played DS2 blind once about a year ago, and recently booted it back up as I had not accessed the dlcs or killed all bosses in my NG run.
As I was farming Heide’s tower for the billionth time (the area was ng+2 even though I was in ng+) for souls and the Heide knight set, I was invaded by an actual human. No idea how multiplayer works in this game, and honestly I thought the servers were dead, but nonetheless there was an invader. They watched me kill a couple old knights, and I guess by the gear I was wearing (most of a heide knight set and the rapier) and the fact that I was farming, they correctly identified me as a DS2 scrub. Instead of just destroying me, they opted to drop a +5 chaos blade and emote a bunch, and refused to fight me until I picked up the blade and emoted back.
They shat on me in the duel, but the chaos blade stuck through the rest of my NG+ run and was the weapon I used to defeat every single boss in DS2. I had a blast playing with this weapon, and am very thankful for this kind stranger’s generosity. My second play through made me love DS2 so much more than my first, and I credit my will to beat crap like Lud/Zallen to this stranger helping me out. I ended up using a jester armor, sunset staff, dark orb/dark blade, chaos blade build to dumpster everything in the game, and it was SO fun.
If you’re reading this, thank you. My name was Elmo when you invade, no idea what yours was. If this wasn’t you, but you help new players by dropping weapons etc, thank you too, you’re keeping DS2 alive by welcoming new players.

As some of you are aware that are in the original Kin Discord server there have been some recent changes.
The sever was originally created by Freedom and Rachel and has been run by them for several years now.
The time has come for change and the ownership of the server and admin rights have been passed over to me.
I would like to thank Rachel and Freedom for their hard work over the years on the server to get it to where it is today with over 2500 members.
Moving forward my goal for the server is to be community focused, a place that people can come to hang out learn about Kin and have open conversations. People have emotions and opinions. I believe people should be able to express those emotions/opinions and have supportive people around them if they have concerns about something. We are all only human at the end of the day.
I see my new role in the server as a facilitator for what the community wants so feel free to make suggestions on what you would like to see in the server moving forward.

So I have always hated forgetting or losing things, moreso than the average person. I buy books I like, write down the names of things, and will soon be converting my physical media (vhs/dvd/etc) to digital to have it in multiple places. I assume most here are of the same mindset as me, though maybe more dedicated. After being thoroughly confused by the wiki, and combing through old posts, I thought I should just ask a few questions.
I don't really need help with the actual copying part, there are plenty of guides out there (makeMKV seems to be the best suggestion for DVDs in this sub, according the wiki). I have also looked around for the actual storage device. I don't have enough data to be worth getting a server rack, and the more "manual" forms seem slow (like mdisc) since I plan to tap into these fairly often. What I will end up doing is probably having a couple USB drives, each with a copy of my "cache" of stuff, be it photos or movies or games or whatnot. Probably every 5 years I will just copy everything over to a new drive, to counteract any kind of physical deterioration with the drive (my research seems to point that they are finnicky when it comes to how long they can last). These caches will be large enough to not be worth combing through every time I copy stuff to check it works. At the time that I transfer the data, is there any kind of non-invasive software I can run the files through to make sure they are still readable? Because I don't want to go to look at a photo and see that 10 years ago it got corrupted and is gone.
TL;DR
I want to keep my stuff on USB drives to access often, but replace every 5 years. What can I do to ensure I don't lose whatever is on the drives? Or are there better options for this scenario than a flash drive?

I manage the infrastructure for a sports bar chain. We have a few strict conditions, which keeps leading me back to using a full windows stack as the only logical solution. I made a post a little bit ago about this but have finally fully understood some upgrade paths we can take and what it would actually look like to implement them.
So I believe we are locked into windows and I want to explore changing that to save on hardware costs and allow for future space for an internal development team to build and deploy apps at the Edge. We don't currently have an app dev team, but the business is rapidly moving towards data analysis and utilizing that data. At the same time, we are looking to expand, so fast and automated builds are a must.
So why are we locked in to windows? here's why:

1. Computing MUST be hosted at the edge. Restaurants have spotty internet and can experience frequent outages. Having the POS always available regardless of internet is non-negotiable. A cellular backup is at each site, but the bandwidth wouldn't support the massive load.
2. Our POS system (Oracle Simphony) is most supported on windows clients, for both the servers and the clients. We host windows VMs running this software and tablets RDP into the VMs from iPads. This abstracts the POS away from the environmental factors of a bar, such as water damage, people messing with cables, and utilizing a cattle mentality towards our POS systems with fast replacement of VMs instead of fixing or upgrading.
3. Since we use Windows clients VM. We need a license for each one, so we use Windows Hyper-V for the datacenter license which allows us to license each of the 30-80 clients per restaurant using AVMA and saving on individual licenses.

What we are planning to implement to improve our systems considering that we are locked to windows:

1. Cheap, but power Mini servers with enterprise hardware (up to 64GB of RAM, single socket, U.2 drives) essentially running as blade servers (4-6 per site). This would allow the restaurant to keep running even if they encounter a server failure.
2. Each mini server is running Hyper-V on Datacenter Core with KVM over IP and API based management using redfish. They are all clustered together and have enough capacity to live migrate VMs in the case of a server going down.
3. Packer + Terraform + Ansible to build and deploy clusters, allowing fast deployment for the fast scaling of building new restaurants without onsite presence needed.

A potential path to Linux?

1. Oracle Simphony running oracle linux is supported, but support would be hard to get. It would lead to need to deeply understand a new operating system and fix it ourselves even though we pay for a support contract.
2. Oracle Linux containers are officially supported, so we can run them in an edge kubernetes cluster, with the same architecture as above utilizing mini servers but would require less computer power and save costs there. Downside would be managing our own clusters. Chic-Fil-A did it, but I'm not sure I want to. I could instead use proxmox or openshift, which sounds easier, but openshift is a bit expensive compared to 4 one time $100 datacenter licenses.
3. Using the method outlined in this video: https://youtu.be/L4nqky8qGm8?t=671 We can deploy the POS and a VNC endpoint that the iPads can connect to and interact with their client.

In the end, this is all optimization, so it feels riskier to rip out an entire system that we have learned to tune well with automations based in powershell and have built a robust monitoring system around it to remediate issues quickly.
