It sounds dumb, but when I was growing up me and my family were constantly abused, either verbal or physical, and even with my mom it was sexual when she was a child. when I gained sentience i guess is the word, I was like 3 years old. "go nick! you can do it!" and then once we go back inside this fucking asshole beats us. why. Why? because we embarrassed him or some bullshit reason i don't remember. fucking key memory. but not the most important one at the time because not even 2 weeks later after all the beatings back to back this prick lays all of us down, pulls down our pants and hits each and everyone of us in the ass. First it was my older brother, then it was me. And for some reason, I have no fucking clue why, I just wanted to see what would happen if I didn't scream. I didn't cry in pain. so when he hit me I didn't. Then he hit me again, and again until all I did was turn around and say "ow", followed by him slamming the belt on my younger brothers ass. then he went and overdosed in the kitchen on heroin or some shit after beating my mom. As he beat my mom all I heard was her in pain. i have no reason why, but he stopped to do heroin, and when my mom called the cops this cunts uncle or dad or whatever was some important position in the police, got cps called on my mom and we were taken to my grandpas house. this was probably the most important day of my life. It taught me so many lessons it's unreal.

and a bunch of other ones I just can't remember. When I was 7 years old my dad died, I genuinely didn't know anything about him but allegedly I was his favorite. when my mom and my aunt sat us down to tell us this, I thought the right response would be to cry. I didn't want to cry, because I didn't give a shit about him but I faked it. I just made the loud noises and sad face, but there was obviously no tears because i'm not an actor. however the older I grew up the more i realized i hated my dad. the more i realized this fucker is the reason i'm even in this position. because my mom and my dad were married, they were going to have a good life, my mom stopped going to college for this fucking asshole so he could work as a mortician. whatever fuckall reason, we went to montana for like a year or something, and his dumbass ex girlfriend jessica decided to message him and talk about how much she missed him, how much she loves her and wants to be with him. So they did, he divorced my mom, went back to live with jessica and they had a kid named lilith. and the funniest part is jessica is the reason my dad is dead. my mom told me she said he attacked her and she shot him. Which is honestly believable. There's a lot about my dad, the main thigns is he was also abusive to my mom, he was a paranoid bipolar schizophrenic and whichever christian denomination he had involved self-flagellation. he's been arrested for drugs as well as arson. I don't know how my beautiful mother ever found this loser attractive. He's a degenerate. But I do believe that he attacked jessica, despite how much I hate her, I do believe her considering his past. I hate my dad. It sounds generic and bratty, which might just be my cynicism, but in all honesty he's a piece of shit and he got me to where I am today. The problem is that I don't hate myself, I don't hate what I do. I just hate that I have to do it. My mom would've been a nurse, making God knows how much money, and this piece of shit would probably be in a mental hospital or jail for domestic violence. Either way, I'd much rather have my dad abuse my mom, because for some reason I feel like our lives might've been better. We would've lived in montana instead of shithole houston texas. which is another thing I want to talk about.
I grew up completely in houston, I have barely left the state my entire formative life, and I haven't ever gone outside of the country. point is if you know anybody or anything about houston, you know that it's a fucking shithole. fucking ruthless gang bangers coming in from the flood, the fucking crackheads and homeless people who keep coming wherever the fuck i go, it's like I'm a god damn magnet. I go to downtown houston, crackheads, I go to the outside suburbs, fucking homeless people and wannabe gangsters, but I go even further out into the woodlands and katy area, fucking the nicest places I've ever been, there's just fucking wannabe gangsters everywhere. I fucking hate houston. When we went to Austin for vacation one time, there was a guy at this restaurant near us, and he was just being loud and what I thought was completely hostile and sarcastic. This guy wasn't at all. He said to us while we were leaving "hey guys, look I'm sorry for being so loud, I just get really excited about the game." what. what? what the fuck this guy isn't a complete scumbag and is a genuinely nice human? I mean everywhere and anytime I'm in Houston it's a fucking balls challenge with every single man I ever meet trying to be the bigger man and talking about how big their dick is how badly they'd beat whoever's ass and it's the most annyoing shit on earth. Because as they're talking about their dick, in the same conversation they're scared that their girlfriend is going to leave them or cheat on them and how they don't want their girlfriend to dress a certain way for whatever reason. They're not misogynists, they're insecure losers. Whatever happened to the trophy wife thing? I want to show off my girlfriend, dress however you want. Dress like a slut, dress like a grandma I don't care. You're supposed to be for me to show off, not completely but that's what dressing up is for. That's all wearing clothes is about to show yourself off, clothes and personality is all marketing.

This was the only show I ever thought was good that my mom watched. in all honesty now that I watch it later on it's kind of pretentious, but regardless that's what I liked. The one character I loved the most was the penguin. Oswald cobblepot was my favorite character. Everything about him was just pathetic, but his demeanor and his mannerisms just made everyone think he was a boss and nobody could fuck with him. That's how I saw him at the time. And the more I looked into it, I realized he was in the gotham mafia. I didn't know what the mafia was, so I looked it up and saw all these movies and tv shows, and I just watched pretty much all of them. And every single time, I saw people who couldn't be fucked with. I saw strong men. I saw people who weren't bullied, who weren't abused who didn't get scammed or their mom get beaten. And even if they did they'd kill and torture them. That's who I wanted to be. I was tired of who I was. I wanted to be just like them. I never even factored in the money part, I just wanted to be like them. And obviously in texas you can't just join the mafia. At the same time my friend mike started talking about the dark web and all this shit. I thought this is the best way for me to do this kind of stuff. I started talking to criminals on there while talking to my online friends and thought I could just take what these criminals are talking about on forums and chatrooms, and just apply it to me and my online friends. And I did, ever since then it's kind of consumed me. It's the only thing I've researched, the only thing I know how to do. I've tried working jobs and doing it the normal way, but everytime I did people and my friends started to treat me differently. They saw me as just another person for them to fuck with. They thought nothing bad would happen and honestly nothing ever did. And here and there I'd dabble into these things again, But one day after I had received my hard earned paycheck I started paying this guy to do these things for me. And all he saw was easy pickings, which I pretty much was in all honesty. And he scammed me out of around $500 of my money that I worked for over the span of months. I mean until then I'd never been scammed in my life. This was the moment honestly, everyone around me I'd tell would just feel bad for me. I don't want people to feel bad for me, I want them to admire what I did, I want them to relish at the fact that they want to do that but they can't. I want to be admired for what I do about things when I am mistreated, just like I was when I was younger. So I found one of his friends that I helped dox (obviously he didn't know) and contacted him to help me understand everything about this guy. It took a little bit but I finally found this prick. I email bombed him for months, his phone was constantly going off full of text messages I sent from multiple yahoo accounts, his house was getting swatted whenever the fuck I felt like it, I didn't want to do anything financially because I don't care about money. I genuinely didn't even want it back. He got me, that's how I saw it. I just wanted to get him. Anytime I wanted, I could just fuck this guy over. And every single time, he would know it was me. That's what I want. That's what I've always wanted. I never read any philsophy books by machiavelli or anything like that but I remember one of the quotes he said was something about how nobody will truly respect you unless they fear you. That might not be true at all, but I feel like it is. My entire life has consisted of this shit, people abuse and mistreat me, my mom, my brothers and my friends. And every single time all I wished was I could do something about it. I can't really stress enough how little I cared about the money. Everytime I'd watch these shows I knew I'd never be able to make as much money as them but I understood their personality. I understood that I wouldn't make it around them. So I tried my best to. At one point before I calmed down we had kidnapped some guy for not paying my friend his money. This is kind of the point I realized what the fuck spiral I was going down and just calmed down. Then I worked the job and the rest is obvious. Now instead of focusing on just fear, I am focusing on money. And honestly fraud and internet crimes just don't pay/aren't worth it anymore. I've taken my skills and I'm focusing on real businesses. Real money. After a lot of growth both in therapy and in my own time. I've realized the flaws of the mafia characters, and they're not all I saw them as. They were drug addicts, abusive and unloyal to women, they were addicted to gambling, I mean jimmy conway had a rigged college basketball game, and with the money he made, he proceeded to bet on other games he couldn't rig. They were just dumb. They were strong willed and didn't take anything from anybody, but they weren't strong enough to deal with their dumbass addictions like gambling and drugs. I don't want to be like that. Everytime I'd watch these movies I never thought that I'm just like them or I want to be them, I just wanted to emulate their strong points. And to a certain point I have. As I write this I realize that I'm everything I wanted these guys to be. I'm not addicted to gambling or drugs, I'm not a cheater, I'm not abusive to women, I'm not rude to people in public who didn't do anything to them, I love who I am. I did commit crimes, I did do things and will do things to people who do me wrong. This guy scammed me on fiverr for something I wanted done and doxxed him, botted his social medias so they get banned, and I'm contemplating email bombing him but. In all honesty I am glad who I am. I don't take shit from people and that's what I could've learned just living in houston, and I did take it too far but I am glad I did. I don't regret anything. I don't hate the people from my past because they're in my past.

At the risk of sounding arrogant, I consider myself to be at least marginally more intelligent (both academically & socially) than the average person. Therefore, if I ever decided to suddenly risk prison time, risk my reputation, and risk enduring the wrath of modern-day “cancel culture” by scamming people out of their money:

• Not Worth the Money: I certainly wouldn’t do it for such paltry amounts of money. (i.e., anything less than $1,000 per victim.)
• Most Students are Broke: I certainly wouldn’t choose high school & college students as my “target audience” to scam, considering that most people without college degrees have abysmally low annual incomes.
• Waste of Time & Energy: Communicating back and forth with potential clients is an absurdly long time sink since only less than 10% of all potential clients who reach out to me actually become paying clients of mine.
• All My Payment Apps are Still Active: If you pay me to provide academic services and I don’t deliver, you can always dispute the payment with the payment app and easily get your money refunded. If I were in the habit of swindling money from people, then all of my payment accounts would have been investigated and be completely shut down by now.

The situation is very simple:

1. Inflation is high in the US and will remain that way - rates will go up not down because excessive money-printing has caused assets like real estate to balloon in price to the point where dramatic structural changes are about to take place with respect to wage expectations in the United States
2. Immigration is relatively low in the United States, so corporations have to pay the workers more, without the cheat of low-wage-expectation foreign workers. This causes wage inflation which causes general inflation (which is to be expected if the USD dollar is to have any meaning at all)
3. Canada, conversely, has extreme immigration targets with the goal of demoralizing Canadian earners and pushing back on their legitimate wage expectations which otherwise would be in sync with their American peers
4. Canada will temporarily avoid severe inflation (otherwise driven by wage expectations) because of the band-aid solution of immigration, and the Bank of Canada will laughably lower rates, further demoralizing Canadian dollar savers whose currency will head toward 60 cents or less.
5. Canada maintains AAA rating in the eyes of global ratings agencies, who do not care where the workers come from, as long as small-P productivity churns along and the accountants are happy (not the big-P productivity that underlies innovation - but the small-p productivity that keeps the book-keepers happy and the box-checkers at the government thinking they've accomplished something)
6. The Canadian Dream is dead, except for a handful of follower-types who the Banks grant gigantic mortgage debts to (but these types of people are never the actual productivity - makers since real producers dont take on debt to fund assets).
7. Assets are the only thing that goes "up" with respect to our currency, which continues to get trashed into oblivion.

So I remember hearing that JB Smoove allegedly said that Vivica A Fox allegedly took LDs platinum credit card and that’s why she was written out early in season 7. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but when she didn’t turn up in that finale I did think of that tidbit I read on here. I’ve definitely seen people mention it on here before. I tried to look it up but the only links say they aren’t available in my country. Here is one, can anyone watch it and see what it’s like?
She was a big storyline. I know everyone didn’t make an appearance by a long shot, but it seemed like LD not wanting to take care of her when she had cancer and then her thinking he cheated would have made logical appearance in the proceedings lol.
I mean maybe she just didn’t want to be in it, or was busy, but I feel like the finale was a big deal and most people would want to be involved?
Anybody know if it’s just a crazy rumor, or what JB said? Or any other sources out there? Just totally wondering what happened. Season 6 ending was so great, I loved the Blacks and that one minute of Dad Larry was fantastic! I was sad how it went right at the start of season 7.

I never grew up close to my family. They were users, liars, backstabbers, and thieves and I will never be able to forgive them for what they have done in the past and for what happened recently.
I have three sisters and two brothers and all of them are fucked up in their own individual ways. I had just gone through a brutal divorce and was pregnant with my second child. My husband now ex-husband had ran off with his assistant and had gotten her pregnant and they were soon getting married which I only found out through the divorce lawyer. Once we were divorced I packed my things and moved to another state.
I recently found via my best friend who worked with my sister that she was pregnant and had gotten an abortion due to the father not being in the picture. I didn’t know she was pregnant for I don’t talk to my sister after some petty shit she said after me and my ex-husband’s divorce.
One day she called me and told me she was pregnant and needed some money to pay for child expenses. When I refused to give her money and she flipped out. She started calling me names and cussing me out over the phone then she hit me with a bombshell. She told me that the main reason my husband divorced me was because he was sleeping with her and he got her pregnant three other times and she decided to keep this one as he was soon divorcing the woman he left me for and going to her.
My husband ended up cheating on me while we were married with twenty different woman and ten got pregnant and some kept the babies and some did not. He just paid them money to either get an abortion or just keep their mouths shut and get out of town.
I am now a single mother to two boys and in therapy and I hope my ex-husband and his new baby mama get the karma they deserve.

Attorney For The Worse

Trump’s lawyers are having another rough one. And the mainstream media could learn a lesson from the legal profession and how it handles accountability for unethical behavior and corruption.

• Lawyers for disgraced former President Donald Trump have a long, sordid, and darkly hilarious history of getting charged with crimes, going to prison, facing disbarment, comparing Trump to a “mob boss,” and warning the country not to re-elect him. This week, the saga of accountability for the former guy’s band of legal misfits continued apace. While 2020 coup lawyer and Trump co-conspirator Jeffrey Clark, was taking the Fifth over and over in his D.C. disbarment hearing yesterday, across the country, another corrupt Trump attorney faced accountability of his own. John Eastman was a key architect not only of the scheme to recruit fake electors, but also of the plan to convince Veep Mike Pence to reject legit Biden electors so the fakes could be slotted in on Jan. 6. Eastman’s professional colleagues in California noticed, and they don’t want him around any more.
  
• As of a judge’s ruling yesterday, Eastman is no longer fit to practice law in the State of California. Unless he wins a longshot appeal, he’ll be officially disbarred by Saturday. It’s worth taking a second to look at Judge Yvette Roland’s ruling, because like so much of what’s become standard from Trumpworld, it’s shocking. Roland wrote that Eastman lied in court documents, that he knew his fake elector and Jan. 6 plan was illegal, and that he repeatedly lied about evidence of voter fraud. She said Eastman’s conduct was worse than that of Nixon lawyer and henchman Donald Segretti in Watergate. At least Segretti eventually acknowledged his crimes. Eastman, the court ruled, can no longer be trusted to practice law with honesty and integrity.
  
• Now, just for fun, let’s draw a comparison with parallel events in the media over the past week. Ronna McDaniel served as the head of the Republican National Committee for much of the Trump years and their messy aftermath. She operated in politics, not the law, but followed the same playbook as Eastman. She trafficked lies about the election, pushed democracy-damaging conspiracy theories, and worked to undermine accountability for crimes (remember when the RNC called Jan. 6 “legitimate political discourse”?). But NBC News executives still thought she was fit to act as a contributor and analyst in election coverage. That NBC’s journalists so quickly rejected McDaniel as a liar unfit at the table of journalism—regardless of party—was heartening. But the fact that their bosses thought McDaniel deserved that seat shows how the mainstream media, eight years into Trump’s assault on democracy, still struggles to recognize what it means to defend its institution. The RNC responded by threatening to limit NBC’s access to this summer’s convention—in what amounts to saying, effectively: “Air our lies or pay the consequences.” It’s a move that should prove to those execs that they arrived at the right decision, eventually.
  
• Eastman, as we noted above, is far from alone. Many—nearly all, in fact—of Trump’s cadre of coup-promoting lawyers have faced accountability in some form. Jeffrey Clark may be on his way to disbarment (he’s also charged with crimes); Rudy Giuliani is charged and can’t practice law; Jenna Ellis, censured and pleaded guilty; Ken Chesebro, guilty; Sidney Powell, guilty and sanctioned.
  

Although it takes some time, the legal profession knows how to deal with fraudulent crackpots. It has demonstrated an ability to defend its institution against the liars and cheats Trump has dispatched in his attack on democracy. It’s well past time the mainstream media outlets responsible for covering 2024 figure it out.

Is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s candidacy a bigger threat to Joe Biden or Donald Trump? No one knows, but everyone’s nervous about it. Dems definitely see the threat RFK represents simply based on his Democratic name ID. Trump has certainly seen the polling showing Kennedy could siphon some of his support with anti-vax quackery and creepy conspiracy theories. We have a long way to go before it’s clear how many state ballots RFK qualifies for, and how effectively other campaigns marginalize him. He chose for his running mate, however, the ultra-wealthy lawyer Nicole Shanahan—a woman who received an unknown sum in a confidential divorce settlement from ex-husband and Google billionaire Sergei Brin, after reportedly seeking $1 billion. It therefore appears highly likely that RFK Jr. will have enough funds to cause weirdo-havoc until the end, if he chooses.
What’s clear is that RFK is a threat to public safety. Forget about polls and swing state margins. Just three months into 2024, measles cases have already surpassed the US total for 2023. The cases are almost entirely among children who haven’t been vaccinated. Measles vaccine rates are falling, thanks to the anti-vax campaigns of RFK and mostly right-wing conspiracy mongers. There’s no way around the fact that the more public attention he gets, the more currency anti-vax thinking receives. Talk to your local public health expert about how safe that is for children.
RFK got a lot of coverage for his whack-job antisemitic statements about Covid. But here’s one not enough people noticed: Kennedy toyed with Nazi-signaling code words as he was seeking attention early in his campaign. Last July, while complaining about his inability to score Secret Service protection, he tweeted two numbers close together that are widely understood as a neo-Nazi dog whistle—14 and 88. He wrote: “Typical turnaround time for pro forma protection requests from presidential candidates is 14-days. After 88-days of no response and after several follow-ups by our campaign, the Biden Administration just denied our request.” But the number 14 and 88 mean a lot to Nazis. Putting them side by side is like Nazi Christmas. Later, RFK Jr. claimed he got the numbers from a security consultant who handled his negotiations with the Secret Service, and didn’t “invent” them. He also said: “What’s ironic about this… is these are people who have been accusing me of being a conspiracy theorist.” Uh… okay, man!
The Kennedys themselves seem to recognize the danger their Bobby Jr. poses to the country, especially via the risk he poses to Biden. Just keep in mind there's a lot more at stake with RFK than third-party horse-race politics.

I would like to say I can keep this short, but this is 20+ years of stuff I've dealt with. I am 43(m) and my wife is 40(f). We will call her Rei, this is nowhere near her real name as I don't want people looking for her as we have had it difficult at first in our marriage thanks to MIL and GMIL (grandmother in-law). I will start with context.
When I was 21, I was a bit of a lazy free spirit kind of person. As a teen, I drank and smoked with friends in a safe environment, able to make mistakes without blemishing my future. I graduated High School with a "These jobs are below me" attitude. Still, I worked as a Telemarketer for a phone company. I hated it and skipped work often. Though I still went to work so my parents would think that is where I was. I'd usually enjoy myself in the mall attached to my workplace. It was then I looked into an On cue and saw the woman of my dreams. Rei was beautiful and she stood out of the crowd. I am not good at starting conversations with people, especially someone who captivates me, I had no idea what to even say. Fortunately, she was talking to a friend of mine. This led me to meeting her and eventually she invited me to her family home, just a block away and in the rich neighborhood of my hometown.
Her Mother and Grandparents were there and they've never met me aside from the Grandfather knowing my father, my dad was a coach and umpire so their paths crossed a lot. I greeted her family in a respectful way and showed that I could be a good friend. We all went to the pool in the backyard and I guess my face gave it away that I was enamored with Rei. Her mother asked me about my plans with her daughter. I told her honestly that we barely met so I am going to be a reliable friend. I told her I'd hang out with her and even help her with her college work when she needs assistance. I fell in love with Rei and I had no desire to do anything that would tarnish this feeling. Though, her mother stared a hole through me and said, "She has no time for you". I felt bad. What did I do for this strong level of disapproval.
For the next 4 months I was exactly what I said I was going to be. When Rei was frustrated and needed someone to talk to her, I was the one she called. I'd listen and interact with her. I did this not because I wanted in her pants. I won't lie though, I did want to be in her pants. I just wanted to do things the right way. Eventually she called me and she's sobbing in the phone. She had a fight with her family and she didn't know what to do. I told her to get dressed and I'll take her out for a night at my favorite bakaraoke spot. I treated her well, we even sang a couple of songs together, eventually sealing what we consider "our" song, "Paradise By the Dashboard Light". As it approached Midnight, I took her home and said goodbye.
I decided the next day to check on her. We were alone in her college dorm room and apparently, the conditions were right. We were intimate. From there we went 0-60 in relationship status. After a day/night of love making, we were Friends with benefits. I wouldn't just do it and leave. I would stick around, talk with her and learn more about her as well as tell her more about myself. At the end of the week she confessed to of fallen in love with me. By the end of the same weekend we wanted to get married. It sounds crazy but we just felt like this was it. We decided to get married one month later...
This is when her Mother and Grandmother started to interfere. At that point, I didn't blame them. I sold my instruments to help pay for the wedding but it got wasted since they got in the way. It also turned out our first night of intimacy led to Rei getting pregnant. It has always been a dream of mine to have a family. When everyone found out, her mother sat us down and the conversation went like this:
MIL: "Look, I don't want you to feel obligated to marry my daughter because you got her pregnant."
ME: "I don't.. I wanted to marry her before I found out. I love her and I am proud to be a father"
MIL: "I think she just needs to be a single mom, you're not good enough to raise a child"
ME: "Excuse me? You'd rather her raise the kid without the father who WANTS to be there?"
GMIL: "You just want to marry her so you two can screw"
At this point, it was obvious that her family saw me as someone who was of no value. As we advanced in the months, I kept taking the name calling and the hints that I shouldn't be there. They tried to manipulate me in leaving, but they learned I can't be controlled so easily. We both proved that by Eloping nearly 1 month before our child was born. My family attended and even though it wasn't what I wanted, I decided that her family would never want this day to come and we did our own thing.
She moved in with me and life was good for the most part. However, MIL and GMIL decided to stop manipulating me out of the relationship and started to manipulate Rei, who was more susceptible to it as they are her family and why would they do something to harm her. This led to us starting to fight and her running off with her family for 2-6 months at a time for our first 2 years of marriage. Eventually, I decided that going to the ARMY was a good way to go in order to get out of my hometown and get a more stable life. She agreed and went to live with her mom while I went through training.
After I saw the recruiter, he asked if I had a bank account. I never had one before and because of that, he helped me make one. Though, I shipped off before I acquired my debit card. Instead I had it sent to Rei. I told her I need only a little bit of money for essentials. Her family convinced her I needed nothing. On top of that, they would say I am a deadbeat and will never be anything better than a poor mexican who takes naps and gets people pregnant.(yes, they really said this) If she sent me something, it was maybe $20. Eventually that stopped too and I was in trouble in AIT because I had no ability to purchase supplies for bathing, hanging clothes even shaving. I called her about this and she said I wasn't needed anymore because she has the money. This broke me a little. I've been nothing but giving to her. When I graduated basic, MIL would let me spend any more than five minutes with Rei and my son, and my daughter. I am deprived of everything I hold dear and now I'm being deprived of funds to take care of myself. My Drill Sergeant helped me out of this situation by helping me create a new account and had my pay sent to that instead. I also set up an allotment of over $1000 for her to care for herself and my children. She freaked out as it reminded her where the money came from.
From there, MIL would constantly think I was hoarding the bulk of my money where Rei couldn't get to. I kept true to my word and only held on to money I needed for supplies. At the end of AIT, my parents came to see me and Rei and her family didn't. It was inconvenient to them, thus didn't want to go. My parents are poor and they managed to make an 18 hour drive to come see me. I went to see Rei and she and I connected immediately. She was happy to see me.. I was able to tell that they've been saying things that made her doubt our relationship. MIL eventually sat me down and talked about difficulties Rei was helping with the children. I understood that it was probably stressful. They wanted me to sign paperwork to allow them to take them to the doctor appointments and the like. I didn't really read into it, a mistake that hurts us later. I signed the paperwork with the impression that this was only until I get our house at my duty station.
I get to my unit and a month later, I moved into my house. It was a lovely place, but barren as I had no furniture. I called my wife to tell her the great news that we have a place and we can finally move back in together. She refused..
I asked her why not, and her MIL said I was using the house to make an excuse to not give Rei money. I was confused and try to argue this point but my wife just hung up. Eventually MIL started to call my commander about the house and that I'm not paying child support. When I asked my wife why would she let her family say these things, they were madness. She only said it was "informative". I realized that they convinced her I was the bad guy. We would talk every week and after a while I would sway her a bit only for her family to convince her that I'm manipulating her. I just wanted my family back.
I was forced to move out of the house, on top of that, MIL ordered child support payments. I was left with little - no money. Being a Geographical Bachelor, I had no free meals after AIT. I didn't have money for food. I was starving in the ARMY. I was fortunate that I had friends in the barracks who didn't use their free meals and would use them to give me something to eat for dinner. Every day I would plea to my wife to come home to me. Every day she would refuse. Eventually, I was sent to Korea for a 12 month duty station. A lot of what I am about to say has little to know mention of MIL, but there is a point to it, so please be patient.
I was happy in Korea, for the most part. While there, I was able to eat at the DFAC for free again and a BAS was good enough where I can supply myself. I wouldn't do much, just sit in my room and play games on my down time. After a week in Korea Rei contacted me. She was in a halfway home alone, she finally had a big fight with her family and she got away from them. With the money I had, I manage to get her a small apartment and enough money for food. I didn't have money again, but this time I at least had food. I'd call her ever so often to make sure she's okay and carried on with my day.
A month or so in, I get a message from a friend saying wifey ran off with some guy. I looked at my account and she had drained it. I gave her the information so she can pay the bills. She claimed that I was cheating on her and that she is off to Vegas. I told her that this was foolish and there was no way she'd make it that far with the money I had in the account. 7 hours later, she called asking for my secret stash of money as she was stuck somewhere in Arizona. I told her there was nothing I can do.
That secret stash comment made me think, she must still believe her mother's comment of me not giving Rei all my money. I had to go to my commander to approve cutting her off from my account. I gave him evidence that she has become a detriment to my health and ability to care for myself. It got approved and my wife spent a year homeless. I still remember her voice message calls on yahoo asking for money as it was cold in Vegas on Christmas. My heart sank, at this point there wasn't much I could do for her.
Near the halfway point of my Korea duty, she called to say she was attacked by the man she was with. I was sad that someone hurt her and I calmed her down. It was late and I had guard duty the next day so I told her I'd call her in a day. After that she got with a different guy and I lost myself again. I felt defeated finally. It turns out the new guy was one of the reasons the old guy attacked her. And eventually this guy got her pregnant. I was holding on divorce.. I don't know why I didn't start it. I started dating again. A lovely Peruvian lady who spoke Korea, Russian, Tagalog and other languages. She was nice at first, but she wanted me to party all the time and I didn't have the money for that. She'd throw fits until I relent. Eventually I just started to recluse myself in my room and she started to sneak on post to be intimate with me.
For the third quarter of my time in Korea, Rei and I seemed to be in a bad way. She was always yelling at me. I've never said or did anything to constitute this abuse. This motivate me to call lawyers and start the paperwork. Though one night, with my girlfriend I went to sleep and I started to hear someone typing. I woke to find why Rei and I were fighting. My gf would have arguments with her using my account. I gently moved her over and started to apologized and what's been going on. My GF got angry and stabbed my leg with a pencil.. I didn't shout, I just looked at her and told her to never do that again. Surprisingly, Rei believed me because she thought it was odd that I was so mean.
I stopped seeing my gf and spent the remainder of my time in Korea prepping to go home. We went back to the same duty station we left from. A friend was waiting for me, and for a while, we dated and were intimate. About a month after I returned, Rei called me:
"ME": "Hey.."
"Rei": "I messed up.. I'm in deep in things I can't get out of. I tried to own my mistake of leaving you and show that I can do this on my own. But I need help.. Can I please come home?"
At this point, I knew she was pregnant. I wasn't hurt by that, I am a natural polyamorous person. What hurt me was she left me. In all of our talks the biggest issue was we never really got to talk without someone getting in the way. I was aware her homelessness was hard but she pushed hard, finding work where she could and avoided drugs. She could of ended up worse, but she wanted to climb out. She told me the new guy shoplifted at the walmart in the area and stuffed the stuff in her purse. When they were both arrested, he put it all on her and she sat in prison 7 months pregnant and alone. She knew that only one person had truly ever been on her side and if she wanted out, I might not of taken her back but I'd of at least helped her. Hence the call. I just resupplied my room in the barracks and I had -100$ to my name. I jumped on the greyhound website and attempted to buy her a bus ticket. It was successful and I told her, "You have to get to X Bus Station on the other side of town. You have 2 hours. If you don't make it, then I have no room for you here." I felt I deserved to give her a little test after all this mess. I wondered what she would do.. She had some actual friends who supported our marriage and advised against her leaving me. They helped her make that bus.
I went to the bus station and when I saw her, she was waiting to be hit in the face. She felt she deserved it.. Instead I kissed her and held her tightly. I took her to my barracks room and started the paperwork for emergency housing. I also got 7 days approved leave to get things going. The house was right next to the original house on post which was conveniently close to stores. We moved in before the end of the week, I got some basic furniture on loan from a store and payed them after getting my next check. A lot of spouses looked at her and told her she was blessed with a nice man. Most would not of forgiven her for what she did. I am aware that I had no reason to keep her. But when I met her, I saw something in her that made want to work it out.
On that note, we usually got a paper copy of our Leave and Earning Statement (LES). When I came home she asked about the paper I had. I told her it's how much I was paid. She looked at my pay and saw that her mother takes $750 in child support and that the only money I had was the money I used to send her and enough money to pay for essentials.
"Rei": "Is this it?"
"Me": "That's right.. I'm just a Private First Class.. you guys have been taking this much away from me before I even had the money to pay it."
This was her first realization that her mother has been lying to her. It broke her for months. She spent the next literal 3-4 years trying to make up for what she did. All while her mother was demanding her to come back to live with her. During this time, I'd try to fight to get my children back and remove the child support, but Rei fought me on that saying they are better cared for. IT was hard for me to reclaim the children as if I deploy and she doesn't hold strong to be able to raise them, I could get in serious trouble.
Her family would keep trying to get her to see them, but she was more wary and would not go yet. Eventually she'd have the baby and she decided to give him up for adoption. He went to a good home and she didn't give a choice. I felt I shouldn't make her change her mind either. After a year back, we were slotted for a combat deployment. She got worried but I assured her I'd be okay. She was also pregnant with our second daughter and I said I'd do everything in my power to see her born. The deployment was smooth and I was having a great time. We'd call every night and she told me MIL and GMIL came by and spent the day insulting our home as it was plain with little furniture. She didn't like them pushing on her and she used my Reenlistment bonus to buy furniture at a high price. I was a little angry about that, but I never really yell. I just told her she should of used it for a vehicle as we had none.
My deployment was finished after 12 months and I came home with a little bit of that hole in my heart filled. I had Rei and our second daughter. After a while, I got out of the Army and We moved to the west side of the city we lived in. I attended college for Software Engineering and constantly tried finding a job. Sadly, Rei was still reeling from her bad decisions and made it a bit hard. Jobs weren't taking a Disabled Veteran that wasn't bilingual and eventually we were forced to ask for help. MIL decided it was time to strike. She hadn't spent any of the child support she got from us that year. She agreed to give us that money back and stop the child support if we gave up our rights. I didn't want this.. I have been fighting with them to give them back for years. Their reason is they see us as unfit parents, yet our baby is happy an healthy. But at this time of crisis, if we didn't agree our baby would be the next to suffer. We've been going without food and giving everything to our daughter. So I cried and relented. She took her sweet time sending the money, our lights got shut off and we were living on flour and water. When the money came in we basically decided to leave back to my hometown. My family, with the memory of Rei's actions still fresh in their mind, came up to help us leave.
I got a job within a week of moving back. Things were starting to look up and after a while, Rei's confidence grew. She decided to go back to college and truly make it through. She's dropped out 2 times in the past and the college she wanted to go to will have her move in with her mother again. I didn't want a repeat of the first 5 years of our lives. I was scared and one day while I was at work, she was gone along with my daughter. She'd call me every night, she tell me things like she was never aware of what her mother did until now. Rei had changed. She was aware her mother didn't want me in the family. She even made a story that she hates me because I forced myself on my SIL. Rei knows that I am not one to do such a thing and nor would I of ever had such an opportunity. Rei believes her SIL probably tried to hit on me in the past and I didn't realize it and thus she said that because I chose Rei over her. Every time we'd bat down something MIL would say, she'd have a new reason to want Rei to divorce me.
Eventually, Rei did the unthinkable. She moved out of MIL's house again and had me moved up. We were living together again and I was once again happy. I was worried for nothing and it filled me with such relief. MIL would visit a lot unannounced and we eventually squashed that. After about 2 years, Rei needed to do a Disney Internship for her hospitality degree. MIL wanted our daughter to live with her and Rei asked about me. She refused saying I'm disabled and useless. After saying that Rei moved us back to my hometown to live with my mother. For that year, Rei kept in contact with me and we would share each other's money to keep us all fed and well supplied. I became very close to my second daughter, she became the light of my life.
The time finally came for Rei to walk the stage and I, of course came up to see her proud day. Her family sat in the seats around me talking about how Rei came out of nowhere in terms of this.
"We never thought she'd do this"
"Now she won't do anything we say"
"(Son-in-law) was going to be the first one"
When I took Rei back to my mother's house we spent 8 months with her before getting our own apartment. Rei used her degree and got her Teaching Certs and became an English Teacher. It was one of her dreams when I met her. She told me to stop working and she will take care of me now. I then held down the fort and took care of housework and managed the money. I wanted for nothing and made sure she was happy when she came home.
Our money was tight, we could pay our bills just fine and we could even occasionally do something fun. MIL then asked why are we not doing better and decided to give us budgeting classes hosted by no other than her. This is the jist:
"Just fill this out", hands me a paper. Rei nods as to just humor her. While I work it out, MIL was preaching Christianity and how it works with money. I am pagan and she like to punch me in the turkey dinner about it with little things like this. I don't mind as it's not my place to judge people for religion. She noticed that I finished filling it out, "You're done? You didn't have questions?" I looked at her and told her, "In the ARMY, I learned how to budget. This isn't new to me and I was already doing this." She looked at our finances and realized we had everything fine tuned to spend $50 on a night out every month so she turned to Rei and gave her the ultimate budget solution, "You'd make more money if you divorce him". She said this out loud on Thanksgiving, where everyone can hear her. She made it quite clear that I was not welcome.
Rei and I had endured and the problems started to fade away, with the exception of MIL. Then one day my son called me. He was recently trying to be in the Marines but released due to failure to adapt. He has a lot of anger issues related to MIL trying to erase the fact I was his father. I spent any chance I could telling him I loved him and I didn't leave him by choice. I still feel guilty and that would never heals but his call hurt me more. Apparently, he almost got his girlfriend pregnant and when his gf went to MIL, she told her the same thing she told me, "You should be a single mother, he isn't going to be a good father".
Rei and I are still angry about this comment and it was made 4 years ago. Any time I show my frustration with them or if they try to start their Karen level drama around me and I try to calm it down, they respond with , "Don't make me a victim". We have been showing our solidarity of not wanting them in our lives by showing we don't need them. Their help always came at a price we couldn't afford.. not money.. we can always pay that back.. They wanted things we can't give them and will never surrender to them.
Rei has always spent time with Therapists while we were separated, but MIL would interfere and push the therapists down the wrong way in hopes Rei realizes it's me who is the source of her problems. Now that we are not in range of her, Rei finally got the help she needed and she came home crying.
"Me": "What's the matter?"
"Rei": "I realize how badly mom manipulated me."
She said she realized that she would of been a better parent if she didn't let MIL take the kids and that she is the reason they grew up without us. She realized that MIL was using her to stab me in the heart because they couldn't hurt me unless it was through her. She had since develop anger towards her mother after realizing her mother denied her many things just to take stabs at me. Like there was an actual chance I could of brought Rei to Korea for a while and allow her to see new places. Compounded with the fact that it's evident MIL sees my son as no better than me and should be alone all his life, MIL has now started to wonder what's wrong. She's trying to find out why Rei is not wanting to see her as Rei realizes that MIL is using our children as a way to pull us back so she can try to split us up again and again to no avail. She still sees me as a terrible person even though I not only forgave Rei for running off but also took her back with no expectations. I spent a good part of my life trying to show MIL that I am a great person, but she doesn't care it seems. I've relented on not trying.. I've never really called her MIL or mom or anything of the sort because I feel so alienated in the family. Rei doesn't want to cut ties as MIL is still family and I won't do anything to push her to cut them off.
They're latest complaint is, "he's a bad father". My daughter is intellectually delayed. While we are unsure on how this happened, the fact was that since I started to be the primary parent (when she was 6), I have worked tirelessly with her. MIL and GMIL treated her like an infant before, she was in pullups until she was 6-7. I literally had to potty train her and teach her things she should of been doing. I helped her with her speech and even helped her read. I was on an agreement that GMIL can see her once a week and she would read to her and claim it's her 1 day effort making her better and not my efforts of talking with her for hours, reading with her, treating her like the age she is supposed to be, working with the teachers to better accommodate and teach her and the occasional discipline needed to combat her childish behaviors. She's 14 now and now is far more advanced than she originally was. The school recognized me as parent of the year, which I am proud of due to my internal struggle of calling myself a bad father for letting them take my children from under me.
We are close to our 22nd Anniversary, and she still wants me gone. At the same time she has no idea why Rei is pushing her away. She's demanding to be a part of her Therapy, and she wants Rei to take care of her as she gets older. She makes no attempts with me at this point because the death of SIL. She died from negligence to a serious problem because hospitals are expensive. MIL at least knows that nothing will stop me from saving Rei and that's at least one point on me. Though if she can comment and criticize our lifestyle, she will. Rei and I are like the best of friends and our trust bond is ever so stronger from the hardships we endured.

I hope this makes sense.. Its hard to think of what to put here as this is 21 years of crap and all of it has hurt me greatly as I always wanted to be a family man and I had made so many attempts to be friendly with them. I can't convince Rei to leave them behind, though she is lately trying to exclude them more in our holidays. The exception is that GFIL has stage 4 cancer and while he is a part of this circle of people hurting us, he has never really done anything to actually do anything except remain silent. I'm tired of the feuding and the fighting, and I'm tired of being angry.
One more point, My first daughter turned 18 recently and I managed to have alone time with her. MIL kept us apart telling my daughter I wanted to SA her (which is gross btw). I told her what happened on my end of the whole deal. She never knew our side of the story and was basically told we didn't want to take care of her. Now that both of them are adults, they want to spend more time with us and they are discovering that behaviors they were punished as kids were just traits from me and Rei. So again, Rei is angry that her children were basically denied their own actual personalities as kids.
Thoughts and opinions? I can't say everything is 100% accurate as it's a 21 year span with as few words as I can muster and I won't get mad at people who side with MIL for any reason.

Hello everyone, back again and edited the post to align with the rule that was broken (rule 6)
PS5 banned them, games ban them, what is the deal, I've been on Xbox since the original Xbox and it's never been this bad with cheating in general (fps, racing, fighting, etc), so many people are using them for an "edge" that its polluting every game mode in every multiplayer game. They are selling millions of these things and they are ruining the gaming community. I want to talk about what it would take/what could be done by Microsoft, how could the community make them aware? (PS5 has made Sony aware so why can't we?) , as it it seems like a lot of people want to cheat and they(Microsoft/Xbox) are allowing it because of the vast numbers of players using them and the money involved. Xbox used to be the best when It came down to dealing with cheating, and now it's like nothing is being done, and with people just spamming new accounts the problem seems to be an endless one with no relief in sight.
Don't let anyone tell you these aren't a problem, they are everywhere, on Amazon they are sold out most of the time, they are sold in all major retailers, online, etc, so a massive amount of these things are out there.

Trigger Warning: physical abuse
I (45f) still have a lot of hate for my ex-husband (47m) after 16 years. When people tell me that "You need to let things go" or "You're just living in the past, get some help", it infuriates me. To provide some background on our marriage, this POS would constantly accuse me of cheating on him when I was at work. I was in law enforcement when I was in the military and it is a heavily male dominated career field. Each day when I came home, this would be the typical conversation:
Him: How was your day?
Me: It was pretty busy, I had to respond to a few calls.
Him: Who did you work with?
Me: (Insert random name of male coworker here)
Him: What did you talk about?
Me: Getting some training done, evaluations, and plans for the weekend (not together, just individual plans)
Him: Why did you talk to him about that? You're not allowed to talk to anyone about anything at work except for work.
Let's be real here for a moment, how many of us can actually say that while at work, we ONLY talk about work related things? When you are working in close proximity to someone for 12 hours a day, other topics will come up and it helps to reduce stress.
After working that long of a shift, all I want to do is go straight home and relax. Having another guy would take up too much of my energy, especially since we had a baby a few months earlier.
Anyway, one morning (back in January 2008) I was getting ready for work and I saw that he fell asleep in the living room while playing video games... again. I opened my laptop and saw that he was logged in to his Yahoo Instant messenger account to chat with a friend. I was about to close it to check my messages when I spotted a message sent from him to his "friend" that was talking about what he wants to do with her and well, you get the idea. Since I had caught him in the past doing the same thing with other women, I woke him up to tell him that I have had enough with his behavior and I am done with him. I was not going to put up with it anymore and he needed to make arrangements to find somewhere else to live.
Well, he decided he would turn things back onto me and grabbed our 5 month old son by the leg and held him over the balcony (we lived on the second floor) and began screaming "Whose baby is this???" I was able to talk him into bringing my son back from the balcony but then he pushed past me and walked into the bedroom with my son. He threw my baby on the bed and pushed me out of the room and shut the door behind him. Now we were both outside of the room. He blocked the doorway so I couldn't get to my son. I hear a thump coming from inside of the room and we both ran in. MY BABY BOY FELL OFF THE BED. He picked my son up and placed him back on the bed. As I tried to go around him to comfort my son and see if he was injured, my POS ex grabbed me by the throat and repeatedly began slamming my head into the door. I was able to break free at one point, but the former golden gloves boxer nailed me in the back of the head with his fist. I got back up and pulled out my crappy Motorola cell phone to dial 911. He slapped the phone out of my hands, but this time I was too quick for him and used the house phone to make the call.
When the police came (I lived in an apartment off base, so it was the local PD that responded), they looked very annoyed and I told them what happened. The only thing that they asked me was "What are you doing up so early?" After that, I was told that the only reason they are taking him in was because there was a minor in the house. I was so confused and in shock at the time that I didn't realize they didn't even address what he did to my son.
Days later, I got a copy of the report and yep, there was nothing mentioned about my son. I also saw that he was using my credit card to pay for his hotel room. He never paid me back, but I figured it was worth it to not have him near us.
16 years later, I am still angry about what happened that day. I am also angry at myself for ever being with him, but I don't ever regret having my son. There were other incidents of him putting his hands on me prior to this (yes, I know I was stupid for not leaving the first time), but I'll leave those stories for another day.
People of reddit, tell me, am I justified in my feelings of anger and hatred for this person, or is this something I "just need to get over"?

I have multiple and they are long, buckle up, these were all when I was a kid. (The big juicy story is at #3) (TL;DR at the bottom)
I'd like to preface by saying I'm a skeptic now , but I can't deny I've seen/heard some weird stuff when I was younger I cannot explain. Nowadays if I hear a weird noise I just chuck it up to probably random stuff that's explainable. I'm.. a skeptical agnostic I think.

1. The first one I have no memory of, only my parents telling me about it when I was older. Here's the set up for context.

I was like 3 or 4 years old and me and my parents we're eating at our small dining table we had that sat beside a display shelf with sliding glass doors. Beside it there was a door frame without a door that led into a bigger part of the building floor, huge empty space where the main area of the house/floor was. This was a five floor building my dad's family owned and we were on the fifth. Other family members lived in different floors and other rooms were rented by other people.
The doorframe led into the huge, now empty area of the floor we're living in, it had no lights so it was very dark at night when you have to cross it to get to the stairs leading down the building.
During our dinner my mom and dad told me that I turned my head towards the doorframe that led into the dark empty area of the floor, like something caught my attention out of nowhere. In a few seconds I went from calm to frantic , flushed red and crying. Mom and dad tried to calm me down, dad picked me up and asked what was wrong.
While in his arms I started pointing at the door area, and my dad asked if I saw something, I nodded. At this point my dad had a hunch, so he held me closer to the shelf with the sliding glass doors, this shelf had many decorations displayed but two of them were framed pictures of my two grandmas from my dad's side of the family (his mom and his adopted mom later on after his biological mom died).
He asked me if I saw any of them, my dad told me that I pointed at his adopted mom. He asked me if she looked angry. I said yes.
It turns out that my dad's adopted mom hated my mom when her and dad were dating, my mom told me she "cursed" her when she was pregnant with me, that she will have the ugliest kid ever and no one will love. (Luckily I turned out fine...phew.)
Not only does that explain why she looked angry at me when I saw her, that she also lived in that area of the house when she was alive. The empty dark area was where she would always watch TV and do heir daily things.
My dad told me she died from a stroke while they were on a road trip, he came back to her dead and stiff on the floor, with the house dogs urine and feces everywhere and even on her face. Horrible sight.
I never felt good passing through that dark large empty space when I was a kid.

1. My mom is a nurse. When I was around 4 she would sometimes bring me to the hospital she worked at on off days, to pick up stuff or do some things. Because it was close to the market she'd shop at and I would always shop with her.

Anyway, one day we came by and a co-worker nurse stopped her right after we entered the sliding glass door at the hospital lobby/reception area. Her co-worker was sitting at the waiting chairs aligned right beside the entrance door when you enter. straight ahead once you enter, at the center of the lobby was a big door that I think led into the emergency room (I did not know this at the time I was a child of course).
While mom was talking to her friend, something caught my eye on the floor, bloody foot prints that looked like they're from an infant , that led into the operating room. Looking back I don't know how my imagination came up with this visual if it was my imagination. I was 4 and had never seen any horror movie or media, I had no point of reference.
I tugged on my mom's shirt trying to get her attention and pointed at the emergency room door. My mom said "what son? what is it?", very innocently, I said "I saw red footprints on the floor".
My mom clarified, "red foot prints? where?", and again I pointed at the floor leading to the emergency room doors. "Baby foot prints , small, mommy" after I said this my mom and her friend looked at each other creeped out. My mom being a nurse tried to asked logical questions first. She said "Maybe the janitor mopped it up, how long was it before you told me". Of course I said "right after I saw it."
My mom then asked her friend if there was anyone pregnant that came in today through emergency, her friend said no, she doesn't think so.
That was it we never found out, I guess I just saw ghostly baby foot prints leading into the emergency room.
3.a This one is the longest and the activity spanned a few days. I was in second grade, I was 8, about around 2002. I remember because this is the time in my life where mom and dad separated.
About this time mom went abroad working as a nurse. Me and my dad moved away 2 hours from the city. This was all to get with his chick he met in Yahoo Messenger, dad was cheating. We moved into their apartment, 'cause they moved out and moved to the house behind it, weird I know (This info will become relevant later on).
Before that, we visited the apartment a couple of times while they were still living in it, two story, small but very nice. We slept over , probably dad cheating and getting laid while I slept in their living room. The lady had two kids , a boy and a girl, the boy had autism, Josh , he became my best friend weird but a good kid.
When we were there the second floor had a weird vibe even just looking up from the base of the stairs. Josh and his sister would get told to go up and get something sometimes and they would hate it so much. Josh would have these freak outs whenever he would come up there and honestly spooked me.
Flashforward, me and my dad moved into their now empty apartment. Josh and I were classmates and back to back neighbors. My dad took the big room upstairs , I tried sleeping in the other room beside his but I was never really comfortable sleeping there , never felt cozy.
I instead opted to sleep in the small living room space of the apartment on the first floor, where I had my cable TV. I had one of those foam puzzle matts kids would have , a blanket and a few big pillows and that's good enough for me.
After a few months I would stop interacting with Josh because my dad probably broke up with his mom. This was also the same time I was flunking my grades , my dad got me a house tutor , that also happened to be a cute 27 year old substitute teacher, my dad was very charismatic so not long they started flirting and she would sometimes stay overnight after she come by for my lessons.
One night I didn't feel like having the tutoring class so around 8pm I sat around our round plastic dining room table with my head down like I'm napping on an arm chair, pretending to be sleepy so when my tutor arrives, maybe she gets convinced we can cut the lesson short. She arrived very late , 9pm which worked on my favor, the whole time she was teaching my I had my head down, cradled by my arm, on the edge of the round table. My face was conveniently placed at the hole crated by my elbow and curved edge of the table, like the hole you stick your face in on a massage table.
I was looking down at the floor and then I realize, I'm looking at someone else's pair of feet. I'm a very pale 8 year old asian kid and now I'm seeing feet that looks like they belong to a 60 year old brown skinned man with heavy farmer tan. What's weird is it's standing where my feet would be planted while sitting.
Now I tried to figure this out logically, maybe its my dad? can't be he has the same pale skin as me, nonetheless , I look up and try to find him, exactly across the apartment from where I am, I saw him come out the bathroom, wiping his feet on the rug. I said to myself , okay that's not my dad and then I look down, tanned old person's feet we're gone. Looked for my feet , they were tucked under the chair.
This all happened within a few seconds so my tutor did not notice anything weird.
This is where the weird stuff starts happening. The weekend after this happened my tutor and my dad's friend came by just to hang out and chat. After dinner we stayed on our crummy round dining table , yes the same one earlier.
I was one of those kids that adults liked having around, because I kinda just treat them as live podcasts and I would only butt in when I have something interesting to say.
So I was listening to them, and all of the sudden mid sentence my tutor stopped talking for a quick second, and looked up the upper part of the stairs then carried on, it was to her right from where she's seated. My dad's friend then replied to what she said but then also got distracted and looked towards the base of the stairs. Immediately my tutor interrupts him and asks "What did you see?" and to make sure there's no bullshitting she also gave her answer in sync with him they both said "Feet". At this point we were all spooked. Especially me because I have not told anyone what I saw before.
The apartment stairs were comprised of 2 sections, the main flight that's made out of wood and the last 3 steps that turns towards the kitchen area that's made out of tiles. My tutor then told him "I saw a pair of feet descending from the top of the second floor until midway down the stairs." my dad's friend then said "I saw it just reaching the base of the stairs and turning towards us, but it's so weird cause you can't see the part where it's sliced off your mind kind of just blurs it out your vision."
Then I chimed in, I said "I saw feet too last (insert weekday here that I can't remember)" and then what made them believe me is that I said details on its appearance that they know but never discussed.
So that was it officially we had disembodied ghost feet walking around our apartment and it comes from upstairs. I got spooked because the whole time I was sleeping on my puzzle matt on the living room floor that thing has just been walking around me at night and during the day without me seeing it.
3.b After I got spooked about the thought of ghost feet walking around while I slept on the floor I told my dad I want to sleep in my room upstairs. The same night I woke up around 1 or 2AM with a bad stomach and went straight to the bathroom downstairs. Problem, there's no more toilet paper, so I start calling for my dad trying to wake him up , took him like 10-15 minutes before he responded to me.
I returned to my room and again woke up around maybe 5 or 6am, I remember the light shining into my room looked like sunrise, I woke up proned on the bed with my head, facing toward my open bedroom door. I saw my dad peek out the right side, he told me "Hey I finished doing laundry for tomorrow, go back to sleep" (he meant my uniforms for school, tomorrow is Monday.), then he passed by my door and probably slept in his room.
Now I wake up again, same position, my dad peeked from the side again, 100% same angle , same pose , same shirt, and told me in a very monotone voice "Wake up" and then he also passed by my door towards his bedroom. In my head I was like , okay , weird.
I got up and stepped out my room, this took like 2-3 seconds. When I glance into my dad's open bedroom he does not have his shirt on and he's already snoring. I know my dad he only snores when in deep sleep and you can't fake it too. He has a really bad snore. So I was like , that's odd. I try to test him. I think he's messing with me.
I try to wake him up, knowing my dad very well, me and mom would always ask him stuff even mid sleep and he would answer very cranky and annoyed while half asleep, like accurately , if you ask where's the keys you will find it.
Anyway, I test him and ask "Dad, dad, did you wake me up?" His face scrunched annoyed "What? no." and then went back to snoring a few second later.
At this point I'm genuinely weirded out, but not spooked. My dad woke up around noon and he asked me about my question. I told him everything, about how I saw him by the door waking me up.
He said the last time he talked to me was about the laundry during the early morning. He then told me about when I woke him up in the middle of the night why it took him long to respond to my calls downstairs.
He said he woke up and froze in bed because he was hearing multiple muffled voices coming from my room. He said he couldn't understand what they were talking about but it was very distinct and you can hear different people talking. He first thought they were intruders and was thinking how he will handle it.
But then I've been calling for a long time now so he just said fuck it and peeked into my room with what he could grab as a weapon. No one was there. He was spooked but then went down to help me.He said weird stuff is going on in our apartment and we're probably not alone and there's probably something or some entities living in my room.
That's why I don't like sleeping there and that's probably another reason why the last chick my dad was cheating with moved out of the apartment but then moved to the house behind it.
A few months after that I had to move to my mom's family house where my grandma and uncle's family lives because mom and dad separated.
This leads into my final story.
But here's bonus info that makes this whole thing more eerie.
People that live around where that apartment was located would always said "This place used to be where "salvaged" people would be disposed at."
Before becoming a suburban area, provices in my country were mostly fields of tall grass or farmland. I live in the Philippines and in 1972 Ferdinand Marcos became a dictator. In his 14 year regime he would order journalists or any other political and public figures that opposed him to be disposed of.
Some 2,520 of the 3,257 murder victims were tortured and mutilated before their bodies were dumped in various places for the public to discover - a tactic meant to sow fear among the public, which came to be known as "salvaging." These bodies were mostly discovered thrown out in remote fields , empty spaces and abandoned lots.
A disembodied specter of someone's feet now doesn't sound too far fetched knowing the history of where we once lived.

1. This one is shorter. Kinda.

Third grade I was 9, 2003
In my grandparents house lived basically the whole family, my mom's sister, her brother and his family , my grandpa.
One day I was playing PS2 upstairs in my room or watching cartoons.
I heard my grandma call for me, probably to do something for her. I went downstairs, grandma wanted me to pour her a glass of milk, so I did , I also grabbed one for myself, calcium is good.
Handed her the glass of milk and I kinda stayed for a bit and was watching TV with her. After a few minutes I started hearing footsteps above us. Heavy, the floor above us was the third floor and the flooring is made of wood. So any sort of noise on it would be heard, I'm sure all of you would know the difference between a footstep on a wooden floor and an object dropping with a loud thud.
These were footsteps there was a cadence to it and you can hear the shifting of weights across the feet as you hear the walking. It sounded like someone big or heavy, like a big person.
At this point I'm spooked, I told my grandma "Grandma , do you hear that?" she replied with "Yes someone's upstairs, why?" and then I told her "We're the only two people in the house right now , uncle is out with his family, grandpa and aunt are out and about doing their thing."
My grandma gave me a nervous laugh and tried to shrug it off in an endearing way so I wont get scared "Oh you know maybe its just your great grandfather, the footsteps sound heavy."
"My great grandpa?" my grandma told me "Your great grandpa Agre was a tall man, 6ft+ and was a bit heavy too, he died in your room, in the same bed where you sleep , he's probably just hanging out looking after you."
I don't remember how I spent the rest of the day after knowing that, I think I played outside with my friends after my auntie got back. But I guess I just forgot about it and did not get spooked sleeping in my room since its just my great grandpa.
That was the last paranormal experience I had before it kinda just stopped.
People in my country believe children are born with their third eyes opened that's why they're more susceptible and able to sense and see these things. And when you grow up your third eye closes or gets weaker.
I have a few more smaller experiences but mostly just small stuff like weird sounds and stuff that happened in between these stories.
I don't experience anything paranormal anymore, I honestly wish I can again not to get spooked but to like maybe experience it and deduce and reason with it now that I am more older and know more about the world.
tl;dr
1.When I was a kid my angry dead grandma spooked me and I told my dad by pointing at her picture.
2. I saw ghostly bloody baby footprints at a hospital leading into the emergency room at age 4.

1. A string of paranormal events consisting of an apparition of disembodied feet walking around our apartment witnessed by 3 different people, possibly ghost feet and other things taking up residence in my unused bedroom, voices in the bedroom, doppelgangers, and scariest of all running out of toilet paper.
   
2. Hearing the disembodied footsteps of my great grandpa when the only people in the house is me and my grandma
