2024.05.16 01:23 Fair_Needleworker_10 Maybe I'm bi after all?

Hey everyone! Hope you are all having a nice day.
I wanted to share my experience to see what would people think about it and maybe help me figure it out? Because as of right now, I'm lost.
So I'm a 21M, all of my life, I thought I was gay. I only saw girls as a friend, yes some of them were beautiful but I was not attracted to them emotionally or sexually. I just saw them as friends and never wanted more.
Recently, I've been finding myself looking at girls differently. It shifted a few months ago.
Now when I see attractive girls, sometimes I no longer see them as friends. I want more.
I'm having the same thoughts I have with boys, wanting to have sex with them or maybe seeking for a relationship and wanting to connect emotionally with them.
Last time it happened was when I went to see Challengers (the movie), I found the two male leads so attractive (I imagined having sex with them, maybe a relationship...) but then... The girl lead as well?
She made me feel things for girls I never felt before, it was so intense, yes it's been a few months that I already had those thoughts on some girls I find attractive, but she made me felt new emotions on another level.
I genuinely find her so attractive (it's Zendaya so who wouldn't lol) and I had the same feelings/thoughts for her that I had for the two male leads and guys in general. It was the first time she made me think like: "I am bi? Because I could literally date her right now, have sex with her and marry her if she was interested in me."
She was the first girl that made me felt like this and for the first time. And before, when I was looking at Zendaya, I was only thinking at her as a potential friend, even tho I was thinking she was really attractive, I never wanted more than to be her friend.
I felt this movie was a bi awakening for me, even tho those feelings/thoughts on girls started months ago. So now I'm completely lost, I don't know if it's a once in a while situation when I see a very attractive girl or if I am maybe bi?
Because it's not happening a lot since those thoughts started and the girls really need to be very attractive (to me) for me to have those thoughts, but Zendaya in that movie made those thoughts go to another level, and she made me feel things and emotions for girls I never felt before.

2024.05.16 00:40 Bolton_McThunderpecs Couple of new scaredy cats (brothers) Need advice acclimating them.

Recently adopted a couple of kitties (named ‘em Hector & Gus), they’re about a year old; a couple of brothers that were found in a woodpile. Adopted them from a legitimate rescue, they’re chipped, up to date on shots, etc. Was told very very timid. Cool by me, I’m pretty experienced with rescue/adoption gatos and I like a challenge
and I got one lol. It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t made the progress I was hoping for. They’re still in their safe room w/everything they need (food, water, litter, toys, bedding, window, etc); but it’s like I have to start over almost everytime I go in there to try and socialize. Hector was definitely borderline feral, and has corrected me multiple times with a quick SWACK to the hand (usually drawing blood lol). He is quick with punishment
Gus is way more chill and the kinda cat I’m used to rescuing. Any help/advice is appreciated, been a while since I last did this and I don’t remember it being this difficult lol

Listen, we tried

Zoomed in and cropped because I feel like it really captures the essence of whuss goin awn here đŸ˜čđŸ˜čđŸ˜č
My partner and I met Dustin at his Brooklyn date of his solo tour. I’d just finished crying from his closer, Desert Dreaming, which I wasn’t expecting to do at all and he was just so.. validating. We joked about the setlist being illegible and the mic stand giving him some challenges. And again, his sage wisdom shown through. Maybe it was the fact that I’d been listening to his music as a form of therapy for ~23 years and finally got to shake his hand, look him in the eye and say thank you but there’s been this long-lasting calmness in my life. I wasn’t prepared for how grounding of an experience that night would be. Or for our photo to be taken, as this one was our first. My childhood best friend and I have very similar photos and I just can’t help but compare the two.
Dustin’s a national treasure that must be protected at all costs. I hope the rest of his tour goes great and all of you out there show the bands a good time at their last few dates. Music is an incredible part of our lives and I’m grateful to connect with you all. 💜
Maybe he’ll play an Americana version of Deadbolt next solo tour if we ask nicely! 😉

President La Follette would announce a major reorganization of cabinet departments following his 1951 impeachment, uniting the Air Force, Navy, War, and State Departments into one grand “Department of Peace,” despite opposition from both military leadership and Secretary of State MacArthur, who would depart from the Administration at the commencement of 1952 and be replaced by Farmer-Labor doyen Clarence Dill. The President has framed the move as embodying the national seal of an eagle carrying both arrows and an olive branch, while promoting centralization to improve efficiency while avoiding involving the United States in entangling alliances, an effort that has led to the end of the effort to unite American allies on both sides of the Pacific into a mutual defense pact. First Lady Isen La Follette, personally notably introverted, has been brought before the public as the chief public campaigner for the Department of Peace.
With the centralization of foreign and military policy in full swing at the executive level despite the opposition of Congress, the spring of 1952 would see a second round of mass centralization, with longtime ally Ralph Immell appointed as the head of a new Department of Production, devised by Texas’s Lyndon B. Johnson, to supervise the old Treasury, Interior, Energy, Agriculture, Labor, and Science and Technology Departments, while Dr. Francois Duvalier has been appointed to lead the centralization of the Justice, Health, Education, and Post Office Departments into a united Department of Prosperity and Human Services, commonly referred to only by the former. As in the case of the Department of Peace, the former departments are slated to remain at a sub-cabinet level, and the efforts of opposition forces have successfully left the proposed integrations largely on paper for the time being.
On the level of sub-cabinet departments, the Bureau of Investigation has been merged with the Office of Strategic Services to form the National Security Agency (NSA), an intelligence agency combining the foreign and domestic. Meanwhile, an executive order would begin the National Aeronautics and Space Administration with former President Charles Lindbergh appointed as its first head, however, Lindbergh would soon be dismissed as a part of the executive’s compromise with congress’s impeachers, with businessman Howard Hughes taking his place.

Opposition Representative Richard Nixon shakes hands with Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie during the Emperor's visit to the United States, where President La Follette would emphasize American support for non-communist anti-colonial movements.
Foreign Policy:
-President La Follette has found rare common ground with the opposition on matters of foreign policy towards the Soviet Union, echoing Arthur Vandenberg’s declaration that “politics ends at the water’s edge.” The Administration has secured funding for the rebuilding of Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, and Korea under social democratic anti-communist governments, with President La Follette describing the initiatives as building an “iron curtain” against communism.
-President La Follette’s term would see the death of two of the world’s premier foreign leaders: Marshall Philippe Petain of France and Chinese General Feng Yuxiang. President La Follette would visit Paris in 1951 for the funeral of Petain after nearly four decades in power, having hailed the French publicly as future allies in the battle with communism. Yet, already suspicious of the new government of Petain protege Charles De Gaulle after the leaking of America’s role in Smedley Butler’s assassination by Ambassador Gaston-Henry Haye, La Follette would find himself increasingly disenchanted with the French, with private reports indicating his horror at the mass deportation of Flemish, Germans, and Catalans into the French Congo from areas in Europe newly annexed into France.
-However, the President would nonetheless side with the French-supported Roman Legion rebelling against Greece in 1951, marking the creation of the Republic of the Pindus as the first state for the Aromanian people in world history. However, the new state has been accused of engaging in the ethnic cleansing of the Greek population.
-Meanwhile, touring China after the death of Feng Yuxiang, La Follette would become increasingly worried about the possible alignment of the nation towards the Soviet Union and controversially refuse to return the island of Taiwan to China until the election of a successor to Feng. With Communist leader Zhou Enlai rising in popularity and an election planned, American support would be thrown behind former warlord Yan Xishan, who would be selected President by the National Assembly in January of 1951 and promptly announce an indefinite delay on elections. Despite rising tensions with China’s Bolshevik-backed Communist Party, La Follette would sign a treaty of return in February of 1952 relinquishing Taiwan to Chinese control. However, after six decades of intense Japanization under colonial authorities, Taiwan has found itself culturally isolated from the rest of China, speaking almost entirely Japanese and Hokkien rather than Mandarin.
-A similar issue has emerged on the formerly Japanese territories of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands. Owing to their close location to the Soviet Union, La Follette has authorized it as the site of dozens of American nuclear tests throughout his term and refused to cede sovereignty, with China, Japan, and Russia all harboring alternate claims to the islands.
-The President has impounded funds from the 1950 and 1951 budgets passed by Congress to distribute for the reconstruction of American allies and occupied regions in the Third Pacific War, enacting the MacArthur Plan without the authorization of Congress and repeating to Chinese Premier Yan Xishan his famous remark that “vermin are infesting and polluting democratic organizations and the government itself.”
-Working with the Latin American and East Asian nations in the American sphere of influence in the aftermath of the Franco-British Conflict, the President has moved the United States into the new Parliament of Nations headquartered in Rome, sending New Hampshire Progressive Senator Robert P. Bass as the first United States Representative to the largely powerless global body intended to facilitate global cooperation. Notably, however, the La Follette Administration has resisted efforts to include communist-aligned nations into the fold despite the membership of many French-aligned authoritarian regimes and absolute monarchies such as the Ethiopian Empire or the Caliphate.
-1951 would see the formalization of the Treaty of San Diego, officially ending the United States occupation of Japan, and with it La Follette's rule by decree of the islands, while maintaining an American military presence on the island chain and transferring to American control the Ryukyu Islands, Iwo Jima, Samoa, and the Japanese stake in the Nicaraguan Canal shared with Argentina, where former Milford W. Howard associate Harold Lord Varney has been appointed as High Commissioner.
-President La Follette held a summit with Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie, and Madagascar Prime Minister Joseph Raseta in 1951 to commemorate the longstanding American support for independent nations in Africa, hosting, among others, independence activists Seretse Khama of Botswana, Jomo Kenyatta of Kenya, and Hastings Banda of Nyasaland. Further, American jazz artist Andy Razaf has taken the throne as King of Madagascar following the lack of an heir apparent to deceased Queen Marie-Louise, however, unfamiliar with the island of his ancestors, the newly-crowned Andriamanantena I has been sidelined by Prime Minister Raseta.
-With rumors of Lazar Kaganovich planning Bolshevik expansion into Central Asia abounding, President La Follette and Secretary of Peace Dill would issue a joint statement in January of 1952 promising American opposition “by any means necessary” to “one more inch” of Bolshevik expansion, with Dill describing Kaganovich’s policy towards France and the United States as “trying to play both sides against the middle.”

Destiny launches off the coast of Puerto Rico, inaugurating a new era in human history,
Domestic Policy:
-”Our attainments in space are a major element in the competition between the Soviet system and our own, they are part of the battle,” so would declare James E. Webb, Deputy Administrator of NASA, on October 4th, 1951, mere weeks after the failure of the impeachment of President La Follette, as he, former President Lindbergh, and gasping crowds of onlookers watched Destiny take flight, the first manmade satellite in human history to orbit the Earth. President La Follette would tout the achievement as the administration having begun the conquest of “the final frontier.”
-Working with Japanese scientists in the aftermath of the occupation, space policy has reached the fore as La Follette launches an aggressive series of follow-up satellites, beginning with Lewis and Clark and most recently including Stagecoach. However, rumors hold that the French have begun construction on their own site for space rocket launches.
-Staring down the barrel of Speaker Joseph McCarthy’s aggression and Senator Estes Kefauver’s investigation into the assassination of Smedley Butler, La Follette turned away from Congress in 1949 to fulfill his promise to “win the peace.” Acting first in April of 1949 shortly after the arrest of John L. Lewis, La Follette would issue Executive Orders 15092 and 15093, authorizing the building of an interstate highway system and national system of hydroelectric plants to be overseen by General Lucius D. Clay and the Army Corps of Engineers under the supervision of the Department of the Interior for the former and Department of Science and Technology for the latter, while authorizing the creation of a new Department of Energy, operating entirely on impounded funds and largely focusing on research on the utilization of nuclear energy.
-In the latter effort, the President has found the support of prominent opposition financier Lewis Strauss, who has nonetheless argued that the development of nuclear energy is hampered by New State bureaucratic centralization.
-Opposition politician Joseph Alioto has criticized the interstate highway system, pointing to the funding of La Follette’s campaign by the Firestone Tire Company and arguing that road dependent companies have colluded to impede the further expansion of rail infrastructure.
-Most controversially would be Executive Order 15097, issued in June of 1951 and seen as largely the brainchild of Secretary of the Treasury Rexford Tugwell, declaring the complete and total nationalization of the healthcare industry and authorizing the establishment of a National Healthcare Service (NHS) in the United States under the Department of Health. Although implementation has been plagued by legal challenges and billions in funding from healthcare providers to opposition candidates, the President has utilized impounded funds to subsidize healthcare for the elderly and impoverished.
-Executive Order 15102 in December of 1951 would establish under the Department of Labor an employers’ syndicate led by former General Electric CEO Gerald Swope called the Business Council, leading to denunciations from across Farmer-Labor despite the low participation in the attempted employers’ union.
-However, the 1946 executive orders declaring a national moratoria on the payment of mortgages and enacting wage and price controls were ended soon after the 1948 election.
-In the face of a rapidly growing economy, La Follette has worked with new Federal Reserve Chairman Bernard Baruch to digress on the expansionist monetary policy that characterized his first term, with interest rates quadrupling to 15% in an effort that has successfully brought inflation from 13% to a mere 3% annually. Unemployment has fallen to 3.2% as the GDP as a whole has grown nearly 9% over La Follette’s second term, an economic boom fueled by mass exportation to Europe and newly decolonized nations elsewhere. While the President has continued to voice support for the nationalization of the Federal Reserve, the issue has remained on the backburner.
-An executive order in January of 1952 has set the new national minimum wage to $7.00 an hour from a previous $3.25, causing mass business outcry despite the President’s argument that the increase is necessary to guarantee a “living wage” after post-war inflation. The Department of Justice has been authorized to prosecute offenders, however, critics have argued that businesses aligned with the President’s political opposition have been unfairly targeted.
-Rufus B. von KleinSmid of the Un-American Activities Board, appointed by the President to monitor journalism for seditious content, would attempt to suppress the release of an account by actress Frances Farmer of her forced confinement to a mental institution in 1948, where she was sterilized under La Follette’s Executive Order 14768 from 1946, authorizing the mass sterilization of the mentally ill and those with “criminal tendencies.” Further investigations into the ramifications of the order have led to staggering revelations of up to 200,000 sterilizations performed annually since 1946, largely under duress, on Americans in prison and mental institutions as well as former criminals. The President has defended the policy while authorizing a Department of Justice investigation into abuses by low level doctors.
-The President would support the prosecution of a half dozen prison wardens accused of citing Executive Order 14767, establishing cooperatives for prisoners to work without pay on natural beautification projects, to turn prisoners into de facto slave laborers working 18 hour shifts as contract labor on farms. While the President has argued that the system itself has brought boons to the environment and American agriculture, critics have claimed that abuse remains widespread.
-While delaying and, in some cases, entirely pausing the implementation of his executive orders in the wake of the promises of moderation amidst the impeachment trial that rescued his presidency from the brink of collapse, fascist Blackshirts and radical Mormon Destroying Angels have become increasingly violent in the months since impeachment, with headlines telling tales of opposition presses raided and armed men watching poll stations. Another conspiracy theory has held that the death of Committee for the Preservation of the Republic chairman Thomas Schall in a motor accident over the winter of 1951 was the result of an intentional Blackshirt hit-and-run.
-While many have blamed the fiery speeches of Vice President Musmanno for encouraging Blackshirts, President La Follette and his brother in the Senate have fiercely denounced all violence on behalf of their movement, appealing to supporters for calm as they call for the speedy prosecution of the allegedly Blackshirt bombthrowers that took the life of elderly comedian Will Rogers. Nonetheless, fear of political violence has led to the cancellation of the 1952 Progressive-Federalist presidential primary in favor of a convention held in tandem with the Liberty League under the auspices of the Committee for the Preservation of the Republic.
-Meanwhile, Washington Senate candidate Marion Zioncheck would throw himself off a building while campaigning to succeed Clarence Dill. In a coma, Zioncheck’s supporters have accused the administration alternately of reigniting his documented mental health issues and being behind the attempted murder themselves.
-September 14, 1951, the height of Blackshirt violence in Philadelphia, St. Louis, and New York City, has been labeled the “Knight of the Long Knives” by opposition critic Styles Bridges. Vice President Musmanno has stood alone in the administration in defending the actions publicly despite condemnation from President La Follette that has carried into the authorization of NSA prosecutions of Blackshirt perpetrators. Representative Richard Nixon, the lead impeachment manager in the La Follette trial, has credited J. Edgar Hoover with the investigations rather than La Follette and accused the administration of only condoning them under pressure from his brother.
-”People of America, wake up!” The last words of House Minority Leader Eduardo Chibas, broadcast into a million homes seconds before his suicide on live radio, has fueled the creation of local opposition organizing groups calling themselves “Wide-Awakes” and aiming to bridge opposition interests against the La Follette Administration.
-The President has made a half a dozen speeches across the nation under the banner of his loyal National Progressives of America calling for the ratification of a 20th Amendment to shift to the president the powers of Congress, restricting the republic’s legislative branch to a mere veto power, while arguing that the need for a strong legislature would be replaced with a 21st Amendment establishing a process for national referendums. Although not passed by Congress, several state legislatures, including those of Alabama and Washington, have passed resolutions indicating a willingness to ratify the amendment.
-The President further floated the concept of reforming the legislature into a “Chamber of Corporations” balancing representatives from the General Trades Union and Business Council.
-With the arrest of CIO leaders John L. Lewis and Tony Boyle, leadership of the nation’s chief opposition union has fallen to Walter Reuther and Jimmy Hoffa, representing the left and right of the organization. With widespread prosecutions against members and supporters such as Fulgencio Batista, however, Reuther and Hoffa have found themselves fighting to prevent the CIO’s collapse. Nonetheless, the CIO would hold a 1950 celebration of the life of former Vice President Lena Morrow Lewis, with President Alf Landon hailing her role in the opposition and using the funeral as a means to rally anti-La Follette sentiment.
-Following a career in national politics spanning nearly seven decades, former President William Randolph Hearst would stop the presses for a final time on August 14th of 1951, passing away at the age of 88 in his castle in San Simeon, California. Having been alternately king and kingmaker in American politics for a half century, Hearst’s funeral would leave the streets around the Grace Cathedral full for blocks, with his son and heir William Randolph Hearst Jr. managing proceedings. Yet, in light of Hearst’s turn to the opposition and support for Fulgencio Batista, President La Follette would be notably absent from the funeral of the man who once coronated him the Farmer-Labor Party’s nominee for the presidency.
-President La Follette would push for the statehood of the territory of Tannenbaum, initially in a tandem effort with Territorial Representative Ernest Gruening’s push for Jewish colonization of the region as an alternative to the increasingly violent Palestine. However, with public sentiment against statehood riled up by Father Charles Coughlin in a campaign tinged by anti-semitism, Senator Henrik Shipstead would filibuster the statehood bill, prompting the Administration to declare a moratoria on statehood efforts and a reconsideration of whether statehood stands in line with national security interest.
-At the urging of singer turned Tennessee Governor Roy Acuff, a group of anti-La Follette Hollywood stars have formed The Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals, including Jane Russell, Ronald Reagan, Zasu Pitts, Gloria Swanson, June Allyson, Pat Buttram, Orson Welles, and Shirley Temple.
-Senator John Horne Blackmore has proposed an additional tax on chain stores to encourage the development of small business, while he, former New York Governor Ezra Pound, and publisher James Laughlin have called for the revival of the American social credit movement.
-Alabama and Illinois have established themselves as the fastest growing states in the nation, demonstrating success in Single Taxer Paul Douglas’s new “Illinois Model” as well as the continued prosperity of Alabama in the wake of Milford W. Howard’s fascist “Alabama Model” that has inspired emulation globally.
-Farmer-Laborite Maine Senator Benjamin Bubar’s investigation of Hollywood has led to the firing or blacklisting of several dozen actors on charges of alleged homosexuality, with the Administration attempting to tie the issue to support for the President’s political opposition, citing the blacklisting of Greta Garbo and Tennessee Williams as precedent for the firing of longtime members of the foreign service on charges of possible homosexual activities.
-Notable inventions and scientific breakthroughs during President La Follette’s term include the discovery of DNA by scientist Rosalind Franklin; the hydrogen bomb, newly tested on the island of Sakhalin; the first successful kidney transplant; and a revolutionary new vaccine for polio invented by University of Alabama doctor Jonas Salk.

In John L. Lewis's stead, dynamic young Jimmy Hoffa has led the independent labor movement.
The Supreme Court:
-Justice Thomas C. O’Brien, appointed in 1939 as a part of President Lindbergh’s takeover of the court, would die in November of 1951 at the age of 64. With the Presidency still reeling from impeachment, La Follette would nominate Michigan Supreme Court Justice Evo DeConcini to the position. However, the hostile Senate would overwhelmingly refuse to confirm the appointment, with Progressive-Federalist Leader George Pritchard vowing to oppose any La Follette nominee. With neither side budging, the position has remained vacant.

Map of the world as of 1952.
World Events:
-After 9 years of prolonged conflict, the Franco-British War would conclude in August of 1950 with the Treaty of Amsterdam signed by Marshal Petain and British Prime Minister Oliver Baldwin, largely ceding French colonies to the British Empire, with the exception of the Congo, on the time table for independence, and Guiana and Algeria, incorporated directly into metropolitan France. Meanwhile, French dominion has been de facto recognized over most of Western Europe, with the west bank of the Rhine, Catalonia, Luxembourg, and Belgium directly incorporated into France while Germany has been divided into a series of puppet states.
-Although the Spanish Republic has survived, the French-influenced, Catholic monarchist CEDA led by José María Valiente Soriano has received significant funding in challenging Prime Minister Jose Ortega y Gasset, with a similar situation emerging in Italy following the democratization of the nation by former dictator Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, who has been succeeded by the pro-French Achille Lauro.
-Alongside the neutral Netherlands, Portugal has stood outside of the French bloc, as fascist leader Francisco RolĂŁo Preto has held onto power while courting the support of both Bolshevik Russia and the United States, explicitly citing Milford W. Howard as his model for rule.
-In what the French government has labeled “le Ă©puration de la frontiĂšre,” (the border purification), a forced exodus has occurred from newly annexed territories, driving millions from their communities and largely to French Africa, where the government has resettled hundreds of thousands each of Catalans, Germans, Greeks, Flemish Belgians, Italians, and the Occitan as French settlers claim their former homes.
-Meanwhile, the international process of decolonization has sped up rapidly, with a proposal by Choudhary Rahmat Ali being adopted by the British to partition the former Raj and form the states of India and Pakistan, alongside a Christian state in the far east.
-Mexican Prime Minister Manuel Gomez Morin has emerged as the primary center of power in the Empire after the crowning of 8 year old Maximiliano II as Emperor.
-Under the leadership of Prime Minister George Drew, the Progressive-Conservatives have won yet another Canadian election, yet the rise of the Social Credit Party in Quebec has driven them to status as the nation’s official opposition. Drew has hosted an Anglo-American Summit alongside President La Follette and Newfoundland Prime Minister Joey Smallwood.
-With Bolshevik Russia as the senior partner, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics has been established as an alliance between Russia and its satellite states in Kazakhstan and the Caucasus.
-The Hashemite Caliphate has experienced increased unrest in both Palestine, where radical Jewish and Muslim militias have clashed, and the majority Christian regions of Mount Lebanon and newly annexed Nubia, where order has been nearly impossible to enforce.
-Following the death of Jorge Carlos Mariategui after two decades at the helm of Peru, Jorge del Prado Chavez has succeeded him, shifting the nation further towards Bolshevik Russia and ending all possibility of Peru entering a Pacific defense pact.
-The National Party’s oppressive regime of white rule in South Africa has been used as a model by a growing movement for a white minority government among the displaced, largely German white population in the French Congo, slated for independence within the decade.
-Social Democrat Mohammed Mossadegh has been elected President of the Republic of Iran, bringing the Georgist nation closer to Bolshevik Russia geopolitically as a counterweight to fiercely pro-British Caliph Abdullah and pro- French Turkish President CelĂąl Bayar.
-Greek dictator Konstantinos Logothetopoulos would be deposed in a 1952 revolution following the successful secession of the Aromanians, with communist Markos Vafeiadis leading a Provisional Democratic People’s Government with Bolshevik support. However, prominent author Nikos Kazantzakis has emerged at the fore of an anti-Vafeiadis protest movement for democratic socialism influenced by Georges Sorel.
-Adopted throughout the Habsburg Realm, Soviet Union, and among many Jews in Palestine and Europeans in the Congo, the Esperanto language has gained nearly 50,000,000 speakers and become the official language of diplomacy for the newly founded Republic of Korea.

2024.05.16 00:29 parktoon I can't relax and enjoy life

I'm reaching out for some guidance and support as I navigate through some challenging issues in my life. I'm a 29-year-old struggling with anxiety, tension, irritability and have ADHD, and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to cope with these feelings on a day-to-day basis. Im alwaysI feel I can not feel relaxed and enjoy life. I feel Heavy and sad Here's a bit about my background: Over the past 10 years, I've heavily used cannabis and experimented with other drugs sporadically. However, I've recently made the decision to quit smoking weed, and I'm now one month and a half clean. (I quit for 7 months 2years ago but even after 7 months I still have all those anxiety/social problems) Additionally, I've been taking Strattera 40mg for the past month, but unfortunately, I haven't noticed any significant improvements in my symptoms.I started 60mg 3 days ago. My struggles with ADHD have been longstanding, and anxiety being my most challenging thing, dating back to my childhood where I often felt singled out and humiliated by teachers for being hyperactive and forgetful. These experiences have left me with very low self-esteem, and I constantly feel like people see me as different. As a result, I find sometimes socializing to be particularly challenging, as I often fear coming across as strange or experiencing mood swings or people feel im not relaxed My difficulties with socialization have also impacted my sexual life, as I've been without sexual relations for the past five years. Each passing day, it feels increasingly challenging. Additionally, I have trouble accepting compliments or positive feedback from others, which sometimes leaves me feeling upset and dont know how to react.Sometimes I have also intrusive thoughts that say bad things or judge things I suposed to like or love. Even when I call my family I dont like to open the camera because I would like to give a true smile and talk in relaxed way but I a feel is tension. Recently, I noticed that after a night of hanging out with friends, drinking beer, and smoking cigarettes (something I do very occasionally), I felt surprisingly relaxed the next day .This got me thinking about the potential role of alcohol and nicotine in alleviating my symptoms temporarily. I'm at a crossroads now, feeling tempted to return to smoking pot as a coping mechanism, I know deep down it's not a sustainable solution but Im on my limit I cant still living like that. I'm seeking advice, support, and perhaps some insights from those who may have experienced similar struggles or have suggestions for alternative coping strategies. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and I appreciate any advice or support you can offer.
May Strattera can help me releasing all of those tension? I think 90Ă· of my problems comes from this anxiety/tension and low self esteem my ADHD gives me Im already 1 month using 40mg and started 60mg few days ago but I didn't feel nothing . Maybe I'm little bit worse . It can take time to see benefits ?

2024.05.16 00:23 RPOR6V Flying from the USA - seeking advice

I've never traveled outside the USA. If I could please get some advice from anyone who's made the trip to Wrexham I would be grateful.
I live in the Detroit, Michigan area. My wife and I want to travel to Wales for roughly the last two weeks of March, 2025, though we can be somewhat flexible on dates. I understand Wrexham's 2024/2025 schedule probably won't be announced until June. Will I pay more for airfare if I wait until then instead of booking now? As I mentioned, we can be flexible on the travel dates.
As for the flight - I don't have a big preference regarding where we fly from, e.g.Detroit, Toledo, Flint, Cleveland, Dayton, Columbus. I even used to hear people say they got better deals flying out of Windsor, Canada than Detroit. I also don't (as of now) have a strong preference regarding where we land. I see some people fly to Ireland and take a ferry to Wales, and I see a lot fly into Manchester and go from there.
I should mention that of course I'm trying to get the best deal for what we want, but I know that won't mean the lowest price because I think we're willing to pay more to fly in business class or first class. I'm 6'4" and I'm a fat American, so it would probably be a real challenge for me to fit into a seat in the economy class, especially for a long flight.
Thanks for reading all that, and thanks in advance for any advice!

2024.05.16 00:19 FallenDemon19 Am I destined to be alone?

I'm a 25-year-old guy who's been losing the only two friends I've had, and it's got me questioning if I'm just not meant for society. Throughout my life, making friends has been a challenge. In school, I was bullied for being awkward and introverted. Even now, I struggle with self doubt and making friends, despite making an effort. I've faced rejection and ridicule, with classmates making me feel like an outcast. In high school, I made one friend, but I'm the only one putting effort into maintaining our friendship.
Entering university didn't make things easier. I tried socializing at parties and events, but my introverted nature clashed with the extroverted crowd. People noticed and even mocked my lack of experience talking to girls. Despite making one friend at university, our connection is fading.
Currently, I feel more confident talking to girls and people overall, but I've encountered new challenges. Despite having enjoyable coffee dates, the girl I've met ghosted me afterward, even though they seemed interested during our conversations. One even exchanged Instagram and expressed enjoyment in meeting, but when I suggested meeting again, I received no response. It leaves me wondering if I'm just too boring.
People always tell me I'm easy to talk to, chill, and just a generally nice guy. Even this girl I chatted with yesterday on Bumble said I seemed like a genuinely good person. She even wanted my Instagram, but she eventually ghosted me.
I make sure I'm presentable, never talk over others, and do my best to support and assist anyone who needs it. I even pulled off a tech wizard move and fixed my roommate's laptop during our uni days. But despite all this, it feels like no one's ever really interested in hanging out with me. It's got me thinking maybe I'm just not someone people like, and I come across as boring, so I've kind of stopped putting in too much effort.

2024.05.16 00:09 RPOR6V Novice travelling from metro Detroit to Wales, UK

I've never traveled outside the USA. If I could please get some advice from experienced travelers I would be grateful.
I live in the Detroit, Michigan area. My wife and I want to travel to Wales for roughly the last two weeks of March, 2025, though we can be somewhat flexible on dates. We picked that time to align with her week off for spring break (she's a school teacher) and to do two of the many things we want to do there: attend a Welsh national rugby team Six Nations match in Cardiff and a Wrexham AFC soccer (football) match in Wrexham. Wrexham's 2024/2025 schedule probably won't be announced until June.
We're, um, not small people. I'm 6'4" and I'm a fat American, so it would probably be a real challenge for me to fit into a seat in the economy class, especially for a long flight.
On top of all that, I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to travel over there and where to stay. I know this is going to sound really dumb, but we're interested in more than what I think are the usual tourist sites - castles, beaches, etc. Here in the USA we love local bars, dives if you will - so we wanna drink some pints at some local pubs in the valleys, hoping we can also drink in some places like old miners' clubs or rugby clubs. So, any advice on transportation in those areas would be great; obviously we're not looking to drink and then drive anywhere.
Thanks for reading all that, and thanks in advance for any advice!

2024.05.15 23:50 GoldRoyalty Gold Royalty Reports First Quarter 2024 Results; Record Revenue Drives Positive Operating Cash Flow

Gold Royalty Reports First Quarter 2024 Results; Record Revenue Drives Positive Operating Cash Flow
Vancouver, British Columbia – May 13, 2024 – Gold Royalty Corp. (“Gold Royalty” or the “Company”) (NYSE American: GROY) is pleased to announce the filing of its operating and financial results for the three months ended March 31, 2024. All amounts are expressed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.
David Garofalo, Chairman and CEO of Gold Royalty, commented: “We are proud to have delivered on another growth milestone in the first quarter, generating positive operating cash flow for the first time. Our recent acquisitions, royalty generator model, and existing flagship royalties fueled our record revenue this quarter. We also continued to lower our cost profile compared to the prior year. With the gold price near all-time highs and the ramp up of the CĂŽtĂ© Gold Mine in the second half of 2024, we expect to see continued royalty revenue growth through the remainder of the year.
Our peer-leading long-term growth outlook and fundamentals continue to improve, driven primarily by Agnico Eagle’s long-life large-scale Odyssey Mine, where underground development is ahead of expectations, Nevada Gold Mine’s REN deposit which continues to be advanced towards production later this decade, and at Aura’s Borborema gold project where production is expected by early next year."
First Quarter 2024 Results Summary:
The following table sets forth selected financial information for the three months ended March 31, 2024:
https://preview.redd.it/qtty4bhkun0d1.png?width=856&format=png&auto=webp&s=1c1a7533f5967102336110b5f16586180bf80319
(1) Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest, Cash Operating Expenses, Adjusted Net Loss, Adjusted Net Loss Per Share, basic and diluted and Total GEOs are each non-IFRS measures and do not have a standardized meaning under IFRS. See "Non-IFRS Measures" for further information.
For further detailed information, please refer to the Company's unaudited condensed interim consolidated financial statements and management's discussion and analysis for the three months ended March 31, 2024, copies of which are available under the Company's profile at www.sedarplus.ca and www.sec.gov.
First Quarter 2024 Highlights:
  • Record quarterly revenue of $2.9 million and record Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest of $4.2 million (2,019 GEOs), which was 112% higher than the same period of 2023. Record quarterly revenue was driven by the first full quarter of revenue from the recently acquired interests in the Borborema project, royalty payments under the recently acquired Cozamin royalty interest and increased revenue from Canadian Malartic and land agreement proceeds.
  • Achieved its first quarter of positive cash flows from operations of $0.3 million, which does not include an additional $1.1 million of land agreement proceeds credited against mineral properties.
  • Cost management initiatives resulted in a continued decrease in Cash Operating Expenses. Cash Operating Expenses decreased by 10% to $2.3 million from $2.5 million in the same period of 2023.
  • Continued advancement at key development stage assets, including first gold pour at the CĂŽtĂ© Gold Mine, underground shaft and ramp development ahead of schedule at the Odyssey Mine, and construction at the Borborema project on track for production in early 2025.
  • Forged a strategic alliance with Taurus Mining Royalty Fund L.P. which expands the Company’s deal origination and identification in addition to improving its ability to compete for larger high-quality investments.
Portfolio Update
Odyssey Mine (3.0% NSR over the northern portion of the mine): Agnico Eagle Mines Limited ("Agnico Eagle") owns and operates the Canadian Malartic Complex that is one of the world’s largest gold mining operations and is comprised of the open-pit Canadian Malartic mine and the underground Odyssey mine. The Canadian Malartic complex will progressively transition from open pit to underground mining between 2023 and 2028.
On April 25, 2024, Agnico Eagle announced its first quarter 2024 results, including an update that construction at the Odyssey mine is progressing well. Ramp development continued to exceed Agnico Eagle’s target and shaft sinking improved during the quarter. The shaft is expected to provide hoisting capacity by mid-2025, six months earlier than previously planned and will provide added development and production flexibility. As at March 31, 2024 the shaft has reached a depth of approximately 452 meters and Agnico Eagle expects to complete excavation of the shaft in 2027.
Agnico Eagle further outlined a summary of its first quarter operating results at the Odyssey mine. At the Barnat pit, good equipment availability and productivity, drove solid operational performance despite challenging weather conditions. At Odyssey South, the mining rate and production were slightly below plan at approximately 3,300 tpd and 17,700 ounces of gold, respectively. The underground operations are expected to gain additional flexibility in the second quarter of 2024, with the start of a second mining front and the addition of four 65 tonnes haulage trucks. Stope reconciliation at Odyssey South remains positive, primarily from the contribution of the internal zones, which resulted in approximately 16% more gold ounces produced than anticipated.
For further information see Agnico Eagle’s news release dated April 25, 2024, available under its profile on www.sedarplus.ca.
CĂŽtĂ© Gold Mine (0.75% NSR royalty over the southern portion of the mine): On March 31, 2024, IAMGOLD Corporation (“IAMGOLD”) announced the first gold pour at the CĂŽtĂ© Gold Mine. It stated that its next step is to focus on ramp-up towards commercial production in the third quarter of 2024, with the goal of achieving a 90% throughput rate at year end. IAMGOLD maintained its production guidance for the project for the year at 220,000 to 290,000 ounces of gold (100% basis), assuming the remaining milestones are achieved.
For further information see IAMGOLD’s news release dated March 31, 2024, available under its profile on www.sedarplus.ca.
Borborema Gold Project (2.0% NSR royalty and gold-linked royalty-convertible loan): On May 7, 2024, Aura Minerals Inc. (“Aura”) announced its first quarter 2024 results including an update on construction at the Borborema project. Following commencement of construction in the third quarter of 2023, Aura announced that construction is well underway with 25% completed to date, and production expected to start in early 2025. Gold Royalty expects to receive 1,440 GEOs in 2024 from Aura through fixed pre-production payments associated with the 2.0% NSR royalty and gold-linked coupon payments associated with the gold-linked royalty-convertible loan.
For further information see Aura’s news release dated May 7, 2024, available under its profile on www.sedarplus.ca.
Ren Project (1.5% NSR royalty and 3.5% NPI): In its management's discussion and analysis for the year ended December 31, 2023, Barrick Gold Corporation (“Barrick”) highlighted continued exploration success at the Ren deposit. The step-out surface drilling program intercepted the targeted Corona dike at a depth of approximately 900 meters downhole and returned 4.7 meters at 24.90 g/t Au, which it stated confirmed the continuity of high-grade mineralization and paving the way for underground platform development in the future to convert more material to the west.
In its management's discussion and analysis for the three months ended March 31, 2024, Barrick included an update on growth and exploration projects. At Carlin, underground conversion drilling commenced across all sites in the first quarter, with step-out growth drilling expected to commence early in the second quarter at a few key project areas.
For further information see Barrick’s management's discussion and analysis for the year ended December 31, 2023 and management's discussion and analysis for the three months ended March 31, 2024, each available under its profile on www.sedarplus.ca.
Granite Creek Mine Project (10.0% NPI): On February 7, 2024, i-80 Gold Corp (“i-80”) provided a summary of 2023 activities and 2024 exploration and development plans, including ongoing initiatives at the Granite Creek Mine Project. The South Pacific Zone (“SPZ”) is a priority area of development for i-80 and, and they have announced plans to advance a development plan that will include extending a decline in order to provide access to the SPZ allowing it to become part of Granite Creek mine plan in H1-2024. Ewan Downie, CEO of i-80 stated, “The results from our 2023 definition programs demonstrate the potential for the SPZ to be a significant deposit located on strike from one of North America’s largest gold mining operations. Mineralization remains open at depth and along strike to the north with the average intercept grade in the northern extension definition program of approximately 15 g/t gold with true widths ranging up to 15 metres.”
i-80 also announced on May 7, 2024 that the work being conducted in 2024 at Granite Creek is expected to include definition and expansion drilling, underground development and test mining of the South Pacific Zone, and a Feasibility Study.
For further information see i-80’s news releases dated February 7, 2024 and May 7, 2024, available under its profile on www.sedarplus.ca.
Cozamin Mine (1.0% NSR over a portion of the mine): On January 24, 2024, Capstone Copper Corp. (“Capstone”) reported 2023 production and 2024 guidance. Production from Cozamin in 2024 is anticipated by Capstone to be similar to 2023 at 22,000 to 24,000 tonnes of copper on a 100% basis. Operating costs in 2024 are forecasted by Capstone to be higher than those in 2023 driven by a higher proportion of cut-and-fill mining methods compared to longhole stoping, along with a stronger Mexican peso.
On May 2, 2024, Capstone announced its first quarter 2024 results which outlined that first quarter 2024 production was 15% higher than the first quarter 2023 due to higher grades consistent with the mine plan.
For further information see Capstone’s news releases dated January 24, 2024 and May 2, 2024 available under its profile on www.sedarplus.ca.
Royalty Generator Model Update
Our Royalty Generator Model continues to generate positive results with one new royalty added in the three months ended March 31, 2024. We have generated 40 royalties since the acquisition of Ely Gold Royalties Inc. in 2021 through this model.
We currently have 31 properties subject to land agreements and 6 properties under lease generating land agreement proceeds. The model continues to incur low operating costs with only $0.002 million spent on maintaining the mineral interests in the first quarter of 2024.
2024 Outlook
The Company remains on track to meet its previously disclosed forecast of between approximately 5,000 and 5,600 GEOs in 2024 which equates to approximately $10.0 million to $11.2 million in Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest at a gold price of $2,000 per ounce. This would represent a midpoint increase in GEOs of approximately 100% relative to 2023.
The Company’s recurring Cash Operating Expenses are currently expected to be consistent with 2023 and the Company expects to achieve positive operating cash flow in 2024 when a number of its growth projects ramp up in production, including the long-life cornerstone mines at CĂŽtĂ© and Odyssey and a full year of cash inflows from the recently acquired Cozamin and Borborema royalties.
The 2024 outlook regarding total GEOs is based on public forecasts, expected development timelines and other disclosure by the owners and operators of the properties underlying our interests and our assessment thereof.

Non-IFRS Measures
The Company has included in this document, certain performance measures, including: (i) Adjusted Net Loss and Adjusted Net Loss Per Share; (ii) total GEOs; (iii) Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest; and (iv) Cash Operating Expenses which are each non-IFRS measures. The presentation of such non-IFRS measures is intended to provide additional information and should not be considered in isolation or as a substitute for measures of performance prepared in accordance with IFRS. These non-IFRS measures do not have any standardized meaning prescribed by IFRS, and other companies may calculate these measures differently.
Adjusted Net Loss and Adjusted Net Loss Per Share
Adjusted Net Loss is calculated by adding back land agreement proceeds credited against mineral properties, loan interest earned on the gold-linked loan, convertible debentures-accretion, transaction related and non-recurring general administrative expenses* and share of loss and deducting the following from net loss: dilution income in associate, changes in fair value of derivative liabilities, embedded derivatives, short-term investments and gold-linked loan, gain on loan modification, foreign exchange gain (loss) and other income (expense). Adjusted Net Loss Per Share, basic and diluted have been determined by dividing the Adjusted Net Loss by the weighted average number of common shares for the applicable period. Management believes that they are useful measures of performance as they adjust for items which are not always reflective of the underlying operating performance of our business and/or are not necessarily indicative of future operating results. The following is a reconciliation of net loss to Adjusted Net Loss, Per Share, basic and diluted for the periods indicated:

* Transaction related, and non-recurring general administrative expenses comprised of operating expenses that are not expected to be incurred on an ongoing basis. During the quarter ended March 31, 2024, transaction related and non-recurring professional fees related to select project evaluation costs and post- closing activities relating the issuance of the Company's outstanding convertible debentures.
Total GEOs
Total GEOs are determined by dividing Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest by the average gold prices for the applicable period:

Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest
Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest are determined by adding land agreement proceeds credited against mineral properties and interest received under the gold-linked loan. The Company has included this information as management believes certain investors use this information to evaluate our performance in comparison to other gold royalty companies in the precious metal mining industry. The following is a reconciliation of Total Revenue, Land Agreement Proceeds and Interest to total revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2024 and 2023, respectively:

Cash Operating Expenses
Cash Operating Expenses are determined by deducting depreciation and share-based compensation from general, administrative and project evaluation costs. The Company has included this information as management believes certain investors use this information to evaluate our performance in comparison to other gold royalty companies in the precious metal mining industry. The following is a reconciliation of Cash Operating Expenses to general, administrative and project evaluation costs.

2024.05.15 23:32 goodlybonus34712 Why not try offline dating?

Ive been thinking lately about how much we rely on dating apps and online communication when it comes to finding potential partners. Its easy to forget the thrill of meeting face-to-face, and the potential for genuine connection. How about we challenge ourselves to put down the phone and strike up a conversation with someone in real life? Who knows what could happen!

2024.05.15 23:27 Om-Nom-- "I like you" Isn't the Compliment Everyone Thinks It Is

Idk what's up with the guys I interact with, but some of you really think you're such prizes to be won istg. I connected with this guy through social media, and he was a bit older but fun to talk to and seemed decent. I'm not looking to date new people at all, and I told him I am only interested in being friends. I was very very very clear about being in a relationship, and not wanting to date anyone.
Of course he didn't listen. Dude (like many others) probably went "challenge accepted" in his head 🙄
Anyways. He goes on to try what he probably thought was incredible flattery on me. "I like your specs", "man, this thing you do is what I love in women", "you look like my kinda gal".
And this isn't even the first time that's happened. Another time, this guy was so obsessed with who was good enough for him and who wasn't. He would say shit like "you'd be perfect for me".
And this whole time, neither of these men paused for a second to consider if they were good enough for me. They thought they were such prizes to be won that just being told "I like you" or that I was doing just the right things to attract them (while I'm out here just existing and would rather not be treated like I'm trying to get make validation out of my life choices) was such a huge compliment.
Like, good job! You're doing everything right to be subjected to my lust, boundary violations, and unprompted attempts at making the conversation sexual!!
The first dude I mentioned brought up Dubai, I suggested he try something and he said he probably will, I said alright we'll do it together (as FRIENDS), he says "I'll probably do it in Dubai", I said "meri taraf se maazrat he phir".
...and instead of leaving it at that, he proceeded to say he'll take me, and that he hopes we won't be "just friends" by then, and then proceeded to tell me in detail how he would wake me up. It involved oral sex, that's all I'll say.
When I told him that was fucking weird and to stop trying to sext, he legit goes "will you keep policing me? 🙄"
Like. Bitch??? Yes?? 1000% I'll keep "policing" you by telling you I'm not entertaining any of your shitty sexual fantasies?
Two days, two days I entertained his bullshit. And this whole time, the biggest compliment he could offer me while trying to "woo" me was different variations of "I like you" đŸ€ą
Guys. Male attention is literally worth nothing. It is the easiest thing in the world to get as a woman. You being attracted to us is NOT a prize, it is a huge inconvenience we are forced to live with. By telling women shit like this, all you are implying is that you have no respect for her and barely see her as a person who might have her own standards for what she looks for in a potential romantic or sexual interest, like all women are just dying to attract these men.
The audacity to be like "I like you, you're awesome" and then proceeding to be a total piece of shit to the same person đŸ€Ą

2024.05.15 23:26 Beneficial_Stay4558 31 [M] NJ/NY/PA Northeast USA - Looking for a real connection that grows into something great.

I'm 31 years old, live in NJ. 5'9", 165 lbs (fit/athletic build) 3rd generation Chinese American (my family immigrated here in the 1900s). My family identifies as American as we tend to eat more pasta than rice and my generation has not learned the language. College educated with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science (switched from an Engineering major...turns out I don't like theoretical math); currently working in the pharmaceutical industry and pretty much love the industry as there isn't any work drama and it's relatively straightforward yet challenging.
I've tried a few long distance relationships and they're quite difficult to manage...they were great when we able to meet in person and I didn't mind putting in the extra work. I'd be willing to try one if the distance is reasonable and the there is a definite spark between us. I am pretty sure I fit the definition of a demisexual, so I'll be strictly trying to form a connection first. I REALLY need the emotional connection before there is a sexual attraction, mentally I can't do hook ups (they're just really hard for me to handle and I have turned people down).
Personality wise I've been told that I tend to bring people together and keep things fun. I have a few different groups of friends and communities I am often with...and they can vary from the youngsters (21 to 30) to the old guys (60+) to the group that's around my age. I would say I'm pretty good at conversing and I try to stay on top of most current events. Mentally I'm an old man and feel more comfortable in that setting, so much that I literally hang out with 60+ years olds at the gym after a workout in the hot tub. I call them the hot tub gang and it's always a set of regulars where we might talk about the same thing every single day until someone newer to the group says that we talked about it yesterday.
I would say fitness is a major player in my life. I started out hating swimming as a kid, but here I am almost 27 years later...I made it through the lessons at the YMCA, joined a club team, swam in high school, swam in college and now I'm a swim coach and instructor as a hobby/side job in my free time. There's something about being a part of coaching people and watching them grow up and succeed that makes me smile.
My free time in the cold months usually consists of planning DIY projects or working on them. I tend to work on all the cars in the family and am the one that fixes them up or finds replacements for them. Or planning my next road trip to somewhere nicer. Whereas in the warm months I love going down to the beach to go for a swim and have a nice relaxing breakfast outdoors. I do have a few kayaks that I'll bring out to go with friends or if I feel it's safe a nice solo paddle to clear my mind. When I think about it, too many of my hobbies involve water. But I do enjoy things on dry land I promise!
I'm really looking for someone I can grow together with, a long term or forever relationship. I want a relationship where both of us put 100% in all the time and if we don't, we can talk to each other about our concerns and work it out. Honestly what I've realized is that maybe I am altruistic...I miss making someone feel happy and loved, miss the good morning texts, the waiting around all day just to see their texts, I miss spoiling someone and the feeling of that feeling of seeing that look that you get when someone truly loves you. I would love to slowly get to know you by having some conversations where the time just flies, then to a point where we talk nonstop, maybe some in person dates and then maybe eventually settle down together and enjoy life together.
Important stuff: Although I enjoy interacting with kids and it's a major part of my life...I don't want any of my own so...sorry if this is a dealbreaker for anyone. I don't drink (except for maybe wine at special occasions....I get really bad Asian Flush so I'll turn bright red if I smell alcohol essentially lol), not into smoking/drugs (Bad asthma and I'm just not into any of that stuff). I don't judge anyone that's into drinking or recreational drugs, it's just not for me personally. Religion wise, I'm Agnostic. Politically I lean relatively to the left.
I'm really searching for that genuine connection; voice calls are definitely a plus and would love to get to know you. It's alright if we end up just as friends that talk here and there.
If it sounds like you could be the one send me a chat or DM and tell me a bit about yourself. My name is Kevin and I'd love to know about you.

2024.05.15 23:25 Beneficial_Stay4558 31 [M4F] NJ/NY/PA Northeast USA - Looking for a real connection that grows into something great.
