2024.05.15 07:48 Typical_Guava_6145 72-96 HR Rolling Fasts > Extended Fasts for ease, sustainability & weight loss with data

I’ve done several fasts btwn 10-12 days and more than 5 fasts btwn 5-8 days and I weigh daily and have receipts.
This is my first time doing rolling fasts and I’m 10 days in so far and feel like I’ve found my fasting calling.
My records suggest that extended fasting very slightly beats rolling fasts thru 7 days, we are talking weight loss of 15 lbs vs 13.5 lbs here.
However, after the first 7 days, rolling fasts are equal to or slightly better than extended fasts for weight loss.
The difference seems to be the lack of a plateau with rolling fasts.
I’ve seen daily weights and chart from others that show a weight gain of 2-4 lbs after the fast breaking meal, but at least to this point, that hasn’t been happening for me.
After 2 big refeeds of 3000 calories, one low carb (13.3%) and the 2nd keto (net carbs 5g, 0.2% carbs), I lost 0.6 lbs and gained 0.6 lbs, respectively, so I’m net zero weight gain in terms of refeeds.
Currently 26 hrs into a 96 hr rolling fast, I’ll be getting more data and will be able to go head to head with my most successful 12 day extended fast - right now, it looks like 12 days of rolling fasts will come in a tie or possibly win by 1 lb or lose by 1 lb - now there is a caveat, I did a 39 hr rolling fast as the 2nd fast, btwn the first fast of 96 hrs and the 3rd fast of 72 hrs, so that refeed, though only 1000 calories with 1g net carbs, has probably cost me 1 lb.
Here is the 9 days of data from my rolling fast thus far:
Fasting Weight Progress
Fast started at 3:30am on Sunday 5/5
Day 1 weight is at 12pm, 33 hrs in (+9 hrs from full day)
Daily weights 11:30am-12:30pm
Day 0… 229… last meal at 3:30am
Day 1… 225.8 (3.2)… FAST 33 hours
Day 2… 223.4 (2.4)…FAST
Day 3… 221.0 (2.4)… FAST
Day 4… 219.6 (1.4)… EAT salmon, tuna, hemp at 2:30am-4:30am to BREAK 95:2 HR FAST 1000 cals 0 net carbs
Day 5… 217.2 (2.4)… EAT brisket x 3, tuna, hemp, walnuts, almonds, raisins from 7pm-1am to BREAK 39:6 HR FAST 3000 cals 100g carbs
Day 6… 216.6 (0.6)… FAST
Day 7… 215.2 (1.4)….. FAST
Day 8… 213.4 (1.8)… EAT 67:5 HR FAST salmon x 2, ground beef x 2, chicken x 2, steak, walnuts, almonds, 3000 cals 5g net carbs
Day 9… 214.0 (+0.6)… FAST
Day 10… ???
In terms of sustainability, I had no problem doing 72 hrs during the last fast with no hunger on Days 1 & 2 and only mild-moderate hunger on Day 3, and though I could have went 96 hrs without too much of a battle, I broke at 72 hrs.
Currently at 26 hours into new fast, hunger is none to minimal after eating 3000 cals of a 5g net carb refeed, and plan is to do 96 hours this time as long as hunger on Day 3 is moderate or lower.
There may very well be individual differences between people, with some losing more weight and/or preferring extended fasts and others getting those benefits from 72-96 hr rolling fasts.
Plan is to break current fast with lo carb SALAD-based 3000 cal refeed (kale, spinach, broccoli, brisket x 2, 120 cals beans, 130 cals sweet potatoes, seeds, nuts) that should bring me briefly out of ketosis for a few hours and compare weight loss of isocaloric 5g net carbs carnivore & nuts based refeed vs 60g net carbs high fiber lo carb kale, spinach, broccoli, brisket, beans, sweet potatoes, seeds, nuts refeed.
Has anyone done this comparison before? If so, did isocaloric 3000 cals carb zero keto outperform high fiber low carb (60g net carbs) or is it the other way around, with nutrients from vegetables, beans and well-rounded meal flipping the switch from ketones to glucose to ketones for a few hours - how energy intensive is it to flip that switch twice within a few hours and can nutrient-loaded meal supercharge fat burning after 12-day fast drains nutrients?
Also, has anybody else not gained weight after refeeding on a rolling 72-96 hr fast?
If you haven’t gained weight after refeed on a 72/96 hr rolling fast, how many cals was your meal and what foods comprised it?

2024.05.15 07:48 Oriyagi Coming down from social adrenaline rush! Just had to confront my apartment neighbor for the second time about the bass from his speakers so my newborn can sleep!

Have a two month old baby, came home with him after one month of being at the inlaws and one night shortly after when I finally went to bed after the handoff with the wife at 2am and it sounded like there was a faint bass system shaking things, like when an obnoxious car drives by with a sound system than will make the owner deaf but all the windows are rolled up.
I couldn't hear it well enough to hear words, but music and the bass from it was IN my apartment. I assumed it was a car who was being obnoxious in the parking spaces, maybe someone getting home from a night out, and that someone would give him enough shit he would stop. Never did. Next morning my wife points out its the adjoining bedroom to our apartment.
Now we have lived her for nearly 10 years and I've never once heard anything through these walls, they are THICC, and I also sleep with the AC on damn near every night so I've never once had to complain about anyone or get confrontational.
But in that month I think we got new neighbors, and who knows how long they had been having their late night raves over there.
Next time it happened it was playing when we got home at 9, 10 comes it doesn't stop so I knock. Nobody answered, It stopped for awhile, then turned back on at midnight. I knock again and it stops, but nobody ever answers the door and i just saw the bedroom blinds move.
Fast forward three weeks to now, it happens again. 10pm rolls around and I'm just livid at the sheer nerve, can't sleep with unpredictable BASS just vibrating our room, so after pacing for awhile and working up the nerve I went over and knocked. Blinds moved and I saw a head, this time I waved hello and he knows I saw him.
The door opened about a centimeter and I saw the guy. "Hello, sorry, but the bass from your speakers is shaking everything in my room." He started closing the door before I finished, he knew why I was knocking, and he said sorry and that he would turn it down. And he did! Yay!
Except now I've got a mild adrenaline rush and can't sleep 😂

2024.05.15 07:40 Muscular-fatty420 My dad hit me when I’m on my period

I, f19, have pcos and don’t really get regular periods and when I do, it’s very very painful and it gets to a point where I cannot even move. I need to check for endometriosis but my parents think I’m “faking it” and tell me that “every woman gets periods I’m not any different” despite of being educated enough to know about this. Today I must’ve have overslept for …… what one hour?…. I tend to sleep for 10-14 hours on my periods. It’s the only way I get relief. Anyway I couldn’t wake up and even now I’m lying down as I type this. He was heading out for work and he saw I’m still asleep so he got hella abusive and started yelling at me for oversleeping and he well…. Slapped me. I didnt cry because I’m used to parents who beat me (mom) and at the end of the day my dad is just her puppet. But goddam it my stomach hurts and now my face too. He knows I’m on my period and they take advantage of the fact that I live with them and they can put me thru whatever hell because I can’t move out.

2024.05.15 07:39 Mean-Worry-2362 is my partner 35M taking advantage of me 22M?

hey, just hope everyone is good. i guess im just here to rant and get other peoples personal opinions. please don’t judge me because at heart, i know i probably deserve better but —
im a 22M and i’ve been seeing this guy (35M and he’s a dl) since like october 2023 and ive known him since 2021. when we first linked, it was just a fwb type thing. i moved cities so we didn’t really talk as much but then i came back (and he happened to be getting out of jail) and we got closer than we’ve ever been. he also basically lives with me now. but anyway, we’ve been getting into petty (to him) arguments lately and i just don’t trust him anymore. he would do stuff like entertain girls via text then when i check him about it, he tells me that he’s not linking with any of them and i see where he’s at. he’s always with me and stuff like that. i told him that it still matters and then he proceeds to say stuff like “those are girls i talked to before we met. am i supposed to just not talk to them anymore?” and im just like ummm yesss??? he says the same way i have guy friends, he has girl friends and i get it but im not flirting with my friends nor have i had a history with my guy friends. anyway, he said he would stop but i know he’s lying. these past 2 days i feel like he’s been secretive on him phone. i notice that he goes straight to his home screen every time i get close enough to see his phone. it’s so irritating and it hurts my heart so bad bc i basically take care of this grown man and he can’t even be as loyal as i am to him. today, after i suspected he was being sneaky, i told him i need to take him home bc i have a lot of stuff to take care. he said okay, i took him home, and that was basically it. we haven’t spoken since. i feel like he could care less about me but i miss him sm even tho i made that choice. he is also an alcoholic like really bad and that’s something i deal with. i only deal with it because i love him but it’s honestly a lot to deal with. i feel so stupid letting an alcoholic man who is 10+ years older than me live under me and still not do right by me. i just cry a lot when we’re apart or at odds like i get so emotional behind him.
he’s also my first love and I’m so attached to him but sometimes I have a thought in the back of head thinking if he really loves me as much as i love him and if he’s taking advantage of me. he tells me he loves me and reassures but but idk if it’s all true. I also feel like if things don’t work out between us, i’ll never find someone like him again. he was very patient with me at times and actually dealt with me. I never had that before in life and i’d hate to lose it.
idk what my next steps should be. i don’t wanna lose him but it’s probably best but i don’t wanna be hurt and sobbing in my room all day and night like the last time we got into it

2024.05.15 07:36 GreenApplication7 Odisha Assembly Election forecast

Odisha Assembly Election forecast
BJD - 83 +-5
BJP - 57 +- 4
INC - 6 +- 2
I will request you read the text below please for more understanding : Lok sabha numbers at last
The majority mark is 74, BJD is well above the mark but if Naveen Pattnaik forces a Pandian on people, a operation will happen and BJD voters, members all agree on it. On a common note , they both agree this or next election cycle , BJP will take the state over as it holds every needed mark for a BJP gadh state and can very well be a Gujarat of EAST if it gets a working CM with Central support already in which Current state government has been not doing well.
People Love pattnaik ji but won't tolerate a outsider later as Odia asmita is a big deal in the state, Odia's are very down to earth and humble people but very proud too.
Some other things to know are, that the state is facing a huge immigration out of the state and especially of 2 categories -
1 - Educated class - Going to BLR MMR CHN
2 - Labour class - South or western states
These are two big issues for BJP voters from what i've taken and needs to be addressed. Cuttack if won may be a start to address these issues.
The coal belt area or region with minerals are now getting restless as BJD being a coastal strong party, recently due to BJP's aggressive growth started some work there and People are angry over no work for them, though this has not turned to a political system which is good , fight shouldn't be there but they deserve a lot more.
The seats alongside Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand border to some extent will see the effect of BJP expansion. The rice MSP announcement is getting a good grip from here.
This is all from me, Odisha Lok Sabha Numbers for me are -
Bargarh - BJP
Sundargarh (ST) - BJP
Sambalpur - BJD /BJP (BJP has edge)
Keonjhar (ST) - BJP
Mayurbhanj (ST) - BJP
Balasore - BJP
Bhadrak (SC) - BJD
Jajpur (SC) - BJD
Dhenkanal - BJD/BJP ( BJD has edge)
Bolangir - BJP
Kalahandi - BJP
Nabarangpur (ST) - BJD
Kandhamal - BJD
Cuttack - BJD
Kendrapara - BJD
Jagatsinghpur (SC) - BJD
Puri - BJP
Bhubaneswar - BJP
Aska - BJD
Berhampur - BJP
Koraput (ST) - INC
BJD - 10 +1- 2
BJP - 10 +2-

2024.05.15 07:35 Lavendergeminis Catholicism, Queerness, Sex, and Sexuality.

Hey everyone, I'm curious to hear people's take on this topic. I'm sure its been talked about before but I can't seem to find it specifically in this thread and so I wanted to check in.
What are people's thoughts on Sex/Masturbation/Porn in relation to their Queerness and their Catholic faith?
Is there absolutely no room/space for Porn when committing ourselves to Christ?
I ask because on one hand our Queer communities very heavily focuses on Sexuality and the physical act of sex. So much so we are incredibly sex positive, call for more support to sex workers, and really tap into freedom in regards to hook up culture, sex positivity, and a hard attack on sex shaming. I even came across a Queer Christian (Non-Catholic) take on this idea that Queer people are hyper sexual because we are so admonished for our rights to act on sex that in turn, by acting on it we're rebelling against repression and permitting ourselves the gift which God gave us.
On the Catholic side of things, we're basically taught that sex and sexuality is more in line with monogamy, marriage, and procreation and that anything outside of that is wrong and immoral.
I personally struggle with both sides of things. I'm an Gay male and Demisexual and I very heavily lean on romance and emotions over sex. I would 1000 % would rather hold hands and go on a romantic date with a man than hook up all day any day. I've always been in line with monogamy and am open to sex however only in a committed and monogamous relationship.
Sadly, I have not met the right man yet, maybe never will, and so direct physical sex has not been something I have experienced in a long time. The extent of my experience with sexuality in the past 10 years has been watching porn and having common kinks which I indulge in through porn but other than that I do not seek hook ups out.
Off late though I have been wondering about porn/masturbation/lust and just have felt a pull away from that too. My main inner dialogue has been that by watching porn , and with my fetishes, I seem to internally objectify other men and desire them in a way that doesn't make me feel good.
I try to remind myself that there's MORE to my queerness than just sex and however I can't seem to reconcile that by fully committing to Christ I am giving up on my queerness to an extent.
Just a few minutes before writing this, I was watching a Catholic Priest on Youtube who prays on different topics. The one I watched was a prayer to "Break contracts with satan". The priest talks about how the contracts can be formed inadvertently and during the prayer he asks us to pause and let whatever thought or message come through.
When I paused, the thought that organically came to me was "Masturbation" . When I analyzed it, I organically felt it was not the actual act of masturbation that was being brought up but the intentions lay behind the act ie; hyper fixating on men and in effect using their image as a means to an end which I fully agree isn't right. It dehumanizes them.
I feel that this is satan's entire goal, to dehumanize, objectify, and then toss away humans when we clearly are God's children and infinitely filled with his love and compassion.
Anyways, this sparked my question and makes me wonder where do I go from here?
I personally have cut down on masturbation and porn A LOT and feel quite good.
I just wonder however if this compromises my Queerness. I wonder if this makes me abnormal ? But also I don't think it does . I prayed to God and an internal revelation has been that he is preparing me , cleansing/purging me from old obsessive ways of operating so that when he does send me a partner one day, if he does , I will be ready and capable with my capacity to love instead of being "stunted" which porn seems to do.
Sorry for the long post but thank you for letting me share!

2024.05.15 07:32 Saltman333 Cloud Computing: India's Business Essential

The digital age is in full swing, and whether you're a mom-and-pop shop or a multinational corporation, cloud computing has become as essential as electricity. It's the backbone of modern business, touching everything from how we communicate to how we sell products.

Cloud Computing: More Than Just Buzzwords

Think about it: when was the last time you hailed a ride using an app, streamed a movie, or ordered groceries online? All these everyday actions rely on cloud computing. It's the invisible force that stores, processes, and delivers the data that powers our digital lives.
For businesses, cloud computing isn't just about convenience – it's about survival. Take, for instance, the story of a small Indian startup that revolutionized the way farmers access weather information. By leveraging cloud technology, they created a platform that delivered hyper-local weather forecasts directly to farmers' smartphones. This simple yet powerful solution helped farmers make better decisions about planting, harvesting, and irrigation, ultimately increasing their yields and income.
This is just one example of how cloud computing is empowering businesses of all sizes to innovate, compete, and thrive in the digital age.

Airtel and Google Cloud: Champions of Customer-Centricity

At the heart of this digital revolution are two companies that have made customer-centricity their guiding principle: Airtel and Google Cloud.
Airtel: A household name in India, Airtel isn't just a telecom provider; it's a partner in progress. With its extensive network and deep understanding of the Indian market, Airtel has a proven track record of delivering solutions that cater to the unique needs of businesses and consumers alike. From affordable mobile plans to cutting-edge enterprise services, Airtel is dedicated to making technology accessible and empowering for everyone.
Google Cloud: Globally, Google Cloud is synonymous with innovation and reliability. Its cloud services are trusted by some of the world's largest companies and most demanding applications. Whether it's powering real-time collaboration tools like Google Workspace or enabling groundbreaking research in artificial intelligence, Google Cloud's commitment to excellence is unwavering.
This partnership between Airtel and Google Cloud brings together two giants with a shared passion for customer satisfaction and a deep understanding of the transformative power of technology. Together, they're poised to unlock new possibilities for businesses in India.
Let me know what you guys think! Head on to the technology section of my blog Newspatron for a detailed read.

2024.05.15 07:31 Ok-Taste-9688 Looking for a travel destination for 3 to 6 weeks for a guy with an injured knee and that is revovering from a breakup

Hey
I got a knee injury (ACL) about a year ago and I had an operation on february 14th. The doctor told me no change of direction or running for another 3 months. But I can walk well and hike as long as it's not risky for my knee. I can walk around 10-15km without a problem right now, but nothing with high altitude and risky ground.
Since I am a gym teacher, I can't go back to work for another 2 months. Also, me and my girlfriend just broke up about a montg ago so I was thinking it would be a great time to travel😅 Let's say I am not at my best right now. Injured, no job, no girlfriend and no social since my social is mostly at work or in sports and I can't work or play sport right now.
So I am looking for a place to travel to have fun. I would love a country that is safe and cheap. I don't really have a budget, but 1500-2000$ a month would be my maximum. I speak only french and english. I would love to learn a little bit of the language of the destination, but it is a bit late for that. Ideally, not a destination with high mountains with a lot of hikings. That could be for another trip!
So here is a recap :
Thanks for the help!

2024.05.15 07:31 SunflowerFiend Quick update, 1 year later: Caplyta lifted my bipolar depression

Hi all! 35F here, and I’ve been on Caplyta for nearly a year. I am diagnosed bipolar 1, but I’ve only had one major manic episode in my life (reason for diagnosis in 2018). The rest of my life has been plagued with intervals of depression, hypomania, and waking up with the doom and glooms.
Despite having the same amount of stressors as I did one year ago, I feel substantially different, changed, improved, born again, even. I can’t imagine not being medicated at this point, something that I struggled with at the beginning of my bipolar journey (diagnosed in 2018).
The NP started me off on 42mg, and the dose never changed. Side effects subsided within the 2-4 week mark. And it lifted my depression, but did nothing for my hypomania. I am still relatively excitable and seemingly refuse to go to sleep at a decent hour. I call my lack of sleep self-inflicted because once I CHOOSE to go to sleep, I’m out like a light within 10 minutes. So the bipolar doesn’t keep me from sleeping, but I think it feeds my late night curiosity.
The clinic assigned me a new practitioner to no fault of my own. We added lamotrigine to combat hypomania and irritability, first at 25mg, then 50mg, then 100mg and I don’t feel any different than not having it at all. We added gabapentin 300 mg which seems to make me sleepy along with the Caplyta when not taken at 2am (my usual dosing time, because, well, stubbornness).
I admitted to the NP that I am regularly sleep deprived and that perhaps my irritability will not be resolved until I dominate old habits in that department and start taking my meds at a reasonable hour along with a good bedtime routine. I have been a bit of a night owl since the beginning of time, I can remember being 5 with a TV in my room and no strict bed time and staying up till MAS*H (the tv show) came on, on a regular basis.
Alas, I’d consider Caplyta helpful for my bipolar depression and I’ve had no notable side effects after one year of use.
Hope this helps anyone curious about a 1 year update. Share your feedback on what has helped with sleep the most, be it meds, sleep routine, etc. I am in desperate need of help in that department.

You know that feeling when you can sit by someone for an hour in complete silence and feel something so deep that you can’t explain ….when you watch the night sky and think wow this world is beautiful and you feel so lucky to be alive…when you hike up a mountain raise your arms close your eyes and feel the wind in your hair but also feel free…that complete feeling when someone holds you while you sleep…the happiness you feel when you hear children laughing and waves at the beach…or when you space out looking at the clouds in admiration…do you ever walk down the street with headphones on and feel so unimportant but yet feel so amazing Because they don’t feel what you feel… you know that feeling of enchantment or wonder coming in waves around you…you know that feeling when you leave your friends you head home alone and on your drive you listen to slow music and you feel so damn alone… you have so much love to give but no one to give it to… you want to run and hold someone … you want to kiss them like tonight’s your last night alive ….when you can stare and talk to someone for hours… that love you feel when you rest your head on their shoulder….when you hold hands in bed and looking at the ceiling without saying a thing …and long hugs gosh I love hugs….when they hold your face and tell you everything’s gonna be okay…we all feel alone some nights and that’s okay … we have to seek within ourselves

2024.05.15 07:27 holisticlife5500 Airfare Secrets for Scoring the Cheapest Flights

"Golden rules" about buying cheap flights, like booking domestic flights 57 days before the departure date, are no longer valid, as there has been a huge shift in the travel industry in what days were thought the cheapest to booking flights. If a study has not been conducted recently, or only one year ago, do not put too much faith in it; there's no reason to worry about booking a flight far in advance. The stellar tips below are current.
Check airlines which don't appear on 3rd party websitesOne of the major weaknesses of Internet search engines is that they frequently will not display the flights of all airlines such as Southwest, Frontier, and Allegiant. To solve this problem, use a free resource like Wikipedia to learn which of these airlines operates a certain airport. Visit Wikipedia, go to their airport page, and search for a section called "Airlines and destinations." You are advised to locate a list of each airline that flies to that airport as well as all the nonstop destinations that airport operates. So, once you become aware of any carriers which did not show up in your first searches, you could now look for flights straight on the airlines' sites.Search one-way & round-trip flightsOnce upon a time the majority of round-trip flights were cheaper than booking two one-way airfare flights. That's no longer the situation today. For instance, Southwest and Jetblue set their prices for their flights on a one-way basis; and a round-trip flight is only the sum of the 2 one-way rates. So, you'll want to check one-way flight rates to ensure you buy the best round-trip deal by pairing two one-way flight tickets, probably on two different carriers.Look for one seat at a timeThere exists a virtually unknown quirk in how carriers price seats which could result in greater prices if searching for many passengers as opposed to a single ticket. Airlines put their inventory in fare classes, or called buckets, which are not always obviously visible to customers. For instance, there may be just three seats left in a fare bucket for $300 each, and the next higher bucket may be $400 for each ticket. But, if you happen to look for four seats, each one would end up falling into the $400 fare bucket.Search alternate airportsAt times the cost of a certain flight is extremely high that it could be a good idea to use your second or even third choice of airports. For instance, you perhaps are aware of the New York area's 3 biggest airports: New York-JFK, Newark (EWR), and New York-LaGuardia. But did you know that Stewart (SWF), Westchester (HPN), and Long Island McArthur (ISP) are also in the region? Several airlines permit you to look for all airports in a region by just specifying the destination as the city itself rather than a certain airport. The ITA Matrix tool is also a great way to look for close by if you do not know the area too well, and Google Flights offers a "Nearby airports" option to assist in this search, too.Don't always travel directBeing flexible with your route you'll be flying is another way to find a cheap flight. For instance, at times it's cheaper to travel to London and use a budget airline to Amsterdam instead of flying directly to Amsterdam from the actual departure city.To utilize this approach, learn how much it costs to fly directly to the target destination. Next, open Google Flights, type in the destination's details like country name to see the rates to nearby airports. If the difference happens to exceed $150 dollars, find out how much it actually is to fly from the 2nd airport to the main destination.Leverage elite statusAlthough having elite status will not allow you to book flights at a discount, you still could use it to save money another way. But with elite status with the majority of airlines let you to standby for earlier flights or perform same-day verified flight modifications. This can permit you to buy a discounted airline flight at an awful time, only to modify it to the flight you really want but at no extra charge. Even without elite status, the charge to standby or make a same-day verified flight modification might be less than the airfare difference between the flight you truly want and the lowest option that day.Use the correct credit cardThe right credit card may very well provide you major savings on flight tickets in a number of various ways. For instance, The Platinum Card from American Express now offers 5x points on all airline bookings made directly with the carrier or with Amex travel, worth 10 cents each dollar spent, based on TPG's recent valuations. That card in addition offers the International Airfare Program, providing cardholders discounts for premium class flights on certain airlines.Search for free hotels and stopover toursWhenever an airline imposes a lengthy layover because of its very tight schedule, the airline will usually offer a free STPC, or stopover paid by carrier, which can include a free tour or hotel room as well.
Don't mind the mythsThe initial and main fact to know whenever locating a cheap flight is there exists no magic trick for achieving this objective. There are however a ton of myths floating online about certain ways to seek cheap flights. Without doubt, you must have run into a lot of them while searching for the best flight deals.Airline companies use advanced technology like computers and pricing algorithms for determining flight prices and offer deals based on various factors like time of the year, weather, time of day, passenger demand, fuel prices, competitor prices, and others. These myths and similar ones will lead you astray. Be flexible in respect to your travel times & datesAirline flight rates vary a lot depending on upcoming holidays, day of the week, and time of the year. August is a major month for flying to Europe, and plenty of people are planning to travel somewhere hot during winter or fly while the kids are taking a break from school. In summation, if you're traveling when everyone is also flying, then logically your flight price will be higher.Flexibility is everything for cheap plane tickets & cheap flight dealsThe more flexible you are, you'll get better cheap flight deals you can book. Here's a new way of doing things: Instead of deciding where to go next, choosing dates, and then searching for the cheap plane tickets to certain destinations on those particular dates, consider first selecting your destination and dates based on the best going deals available. By exercising greater flexibility where you travel and the specific dates you fly, you will have a far better opportunity to find cheaper airfare.Book first, think later for cheap flight finder cancellationTake complete advantage of the free 24-hour cancellation window while purchasing flights. Because of the Department of Transportation's strict regulations, any cheap flight booked to or from the United States could be canceled without worry of incurring a penalty, for 24 hours after the flight's reservation; it must be booked no less than one week before the flight's departure. Yes, it's a very good idea to use a cheap flight finder these days. What this means is that if you buy a flight and the ticket price drops within 24 hour window, you could cancel the original flight and purchase the new, less expensive one.Warning: the 24-hour rule can only work for flights directly bought with the airline or with booking engines such as Priceline.Set a price alert for all cheap flight ticketsYou can choose emails or push notices to your cell phone which will tell you exactly when the flight you are interested in has increased or decreased in price. This may be a great way for getting the best possible price on all cheap flight tickets in the near future. You can do this on the majority of search travel sites and OTAs. Why miss out on potential easy savings? You can then always locate flight tickets cheap when you need them.Buy in foreign currency to get cheap flight ticketBecause regular fliers travel abroad now and then, you could switch the currency on the airline's website to determine if the price would be listed in other monies. You can save big this way. For example, if an airline increased the flight price in US dollars but not in Indian rupee, you could book flights at half the price! But this may require altering either the location or language on the airline's website; or you may change to the home country's URL, where ticket prices are generally cheapest by searching in its local currency. This is how you can in fact find cheap flight ticket to wherever you like to travel.Sign up for an airline's travel rewards credit card for cheap flight bookingOne of the smartest ways to take full advantage from travel credit cards is to use the hefty sign-up bonuses. For example, if you sign up for a new travel card when the airline is offering unusually high quantity of bonus miles, you could score yourself literally thousands of dollars worth of reward points by just opening the card.Although several of these travel cards could have higher annual fees, a big sign-up bonus may amount for months or even years worth of cheap flight booking for you and your whole family. The cheapest day to book flightsEven though you might see great deals flashing on your computer screen for international airfare three to six months out, if you are flying during peak times, or perhaps your plans are not very flexible, it's smart to begin searching sooner. The cheapest day to book flights actually evades many flyers. This does not automatically mean you ought to purchase tickets when hitting the 6-month window; hold on till you book cheap flights online. And, just ignore the old advice that travel experts often repeat regarding booking the cheapest flights at 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday; that used to be true but now airfare prices are updated often and great deals could pop up any given moment when least expected. So, now you can secure a flight cheap most of the time.Utilize momondo to book cheap flight air ticketsUpon finding what you imagine to be the cheapest flight wherever, try searching on Momondo; it will search dozens of OTAs; bear in mind that it may not display the cheapest fares seen on large OTAs and Google Flights. But you got a greater chance to find cheap air tickets sooner this way. Otherwise, only one cheap air ticket may be attained, if tried another manner. Now you too can enjoy when you book cheap flight tickets when you need them.Fly cheap during the low seasonHave you ever scanned flight prices from the USA to Europe's insanely popular cities in August? Surpassing quite easily $1000.00, they can frighten seasoned and expert travelers alike. But are those the same ticket prices in February? So, fly cheap from major hubs in USA to Europe, you could often locate roundtrip flights throughout the winter months for less than $400 or even $300!Fly basic economy for cheap air flightsA basic economy flight ticket could save you money, if you do not require checked luggage or advance seat selection. Pay only for what you need. In theory, you'll achieve cheap air flights via this option.Enroll in the airline's loyalty program for cheap airfareIf you fly one particular airline often, join its loyalty program in order to earn points each time you go anywhere. Then, you can redeem such points for upgrades or cheap airfare in the future. If you accumulate enough miles and achieve a considerable status with the airline, you might receive free upgrades. Now, you can take fuller advantage of cheap air fare whenever you require it.Skiplag to discover hidden-city cheap airfares & last minute flightsHidden-city ticketing happens by booking a flight to a place beyond your final destination, and then end your flight on the layover city. This could help you in getting cheap airfares as well as best last minute flights to most destinations. Think about it: can you imagine a better, more creative way to book cheap air fares while searching the Internet?Prolong your layovers for cheapest flight ticketsSometimes only by extending a layover a few days in another city in-between, you can score cheapest flight tickets to your original destination. In conclusion, more often than not, you'll usually find the cheapest flight ticket by following this method consistently. Why not? A lot of people are discovering that they are by accident getting the cheapest flight via the extended layovers.Don't overlook sales for cheapest flight bookingAirlines are frequently offering amazing deals which you may jump on fast enough and save yourself hundreds of dollars on your next flight. Sign up for your favorite airline's newsletter to be on top of their latest flight deals. This is yet another way to know about the cheapest flight booking that becomes available whenever.Focus on going across the ocean for cheap fly ticketsIf you are thinking to visit a distant location, it could be less expensive to book one ticket to the main hub, and then a second ticket from there to your final destination. For example, if you wish to fly to Alhambra, Spain, it's probably cheaper to book one roundtrip flight from your home to Madrid and a second roundtrip ticket from Madrid to Alhambra than it would be to buy a ticket to Alhambra on one itinerary. In essence, you'll end up with cheap fly tickets by following the above example.Don't overlook destinations with low cost carriers to get cheapest flightsCarriers such as Frontier, AirTran, and Southwest all drive down airfares along their routes. So, it may be quite wise to travel a bit longer to a larger airport with low-cost carriers, because even major carriers flights will most likely be cheaper. Using this method regularly, you are more likely to find the cheapest flights to most if not all your destinations. Why not take advantage of low cost flights whenever possible?Avoid Friday, Sunday flights, & traditional air travel daysThis may mean going away before and returning later than usual, or even flying exactly on the holiday. Pelletier, the air travel specialist, says you can save up to 50% by simply flying Christmas Eve or Day. She said: "We saved $300 per ticket around Thanksgiving for our family of four by flying out the Saturday before Thanksgiving and coming back the Saturday after. Not everyone can swing that with their work schedules, so my advice is to leave Thanksgiving day and return on Saturday for cheaper fares."Begin with a reputable flight search engine to find cheapest international flightsWhile searching for a flight, the initial thing you will wish to do is determine which airlines run a certain route and get an estimated price on the biggest carriers. Opposed to individually visiting all of these airlines' sites, begin by looking for a website which will provide results from many airlines and different combinations of carriers. You may end up with the cheapest international flights this way. So, you could start with Expedia or another such as Orbitz, Hotwire, Travelocity, and Cheap Tickets. Do not ignore Google Flights, which, though a very powerful search engine, know that it's not a booking platform and can't buy a flight ticket there. This is how you could find cheapest flights to many popular locations.Be flexible where you go to book discount flightsIf for some reason or another you cannot be flexible with the time factor of your flight, then try to be flexible with your destinations. It's ideal to be both. However, you still can save a lot of money and book discount flights by being flexible with either factor. You don't have to conduct manual searches, going city by city and day by day. Websites such as Google Flights, Skyscanner, and Momondo provide explore tools and permit you to add your nearest airport and see a world map with all the possible flights on it. This helps you to quickly compare many destinations with no need to brainstorm each potential option.Fly budget airlines/carriersMany years ago, you were generally stuck flying with traditional costly airlines. That's not true anymore. Budget airlines today service both short and medium-haul routes all over the world. For example, AirAsia provides incredible cheap flight deals around Australia and Asia for less than $150 dollars! Indian and Middle Eastern air carriers sell cheap flight tickets throughout Africa and the subcontinent.Book early: how to find the cheapest flightsYou can discover how to find the cheapest flights by booking early. Although flight rates continue climbing the nearer you get to departure, there exists a great spot along the way when airline companies start to reduce or increase flight prices based on demand. Do not wait till the last moment but do not book too far in advance. The ideal time to buy your flight ticket is about 2 to 3 months prior to your departure, or even about 5 months prior if you're flying there in their peak season.

2024.05.15 07:26 bbyfog A US senator accuses Amgen of placing profits above patients with dosing for a cancer drug

https://www.statnews.com/pharmalot/2024/05/14/amgen-lumakras-durbin/
A US lawmaker is accusing Amgen of “putting profits before patients” over its decision to continue marketing a high dose of a pricey cancer treatment instead of a lower dose that is less expensive and not as toxic to patients.
At issue is a medication called Lumakras, which is used to treat non-small cell lung cancer and which won conditional regulatory approval three years ago. At the time, the Food and Drug Administration required Amgen to run a trial confirming earlier test results, as well as a so-called post-marketing study to examine safety and effectiveness at different dosages, in order to gain full approval.
Last December, the agency determined the confirmatory trial was not acceptable and asked the company to run yet another trial, which must be completed by February 2028. Meanwhile, the company was allowed to continue offering a 960-mg dose of the drug, which the FDA originally did not believe was optimal, since a study released last October found its efficacy was similar to that of a 240-mg dosage.
ABOUT LUMAKRAS (sotorasib)
Lumakras was approved by the FDA on 28 May 2021 as the first treatment for adult patients with non-small cell lung cancer whose tumors have genetic mutation KRAS G12C and who have received at least one prior systemic therapy. This was the first approved targeted therapy for tumors with any KRAS mutation, which accounts for approximately 25% of mutations in non-small cell lung cancers. KRAS G12C mutations represent about 13% of mutations in non-small cell lung cancers.
The approval was based on the study of 124 patients with locally advanced or metastatic KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer with disease progression after receiving an immune checkpoint inhibitor and/or platinum-based chemotherapy. The major outcomes measured were objective response rate (proportion of patients whose tumor is destroyed or reduced) and duration of response. The objective response rate was 36% and 58% of those patients had a duration of response of six months or longer. Read FDA press release here, https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-first-targeted-therapy-lung-cancer-mutation-previously-considered-resistant-drug/
Lumakras was approved under Accelerated Approval pathway and reviewed under Project Orbis, an initiative of FDA Oncology Center of Excellence, that allowed concurrent submission and review of marketing application by multiple regulatory agencies; besides FDA, the application was reviewed by UK MHRA, Brazilian ANVISA, Australia’s TGA, and Health Canada.

Democratic Senator Dick Durbin writes Amgen CEO Robert Bradway over the company’s decision to continue marketing oncology drug Lumakras at an elevated dosage despite an FDA study showing the medication has comparable efficacy and fewer side effects when taken at a much lower dose. 2024.05.15 07:26 zxskittlesxz Wanted To Share

Hi, pretty long post, just want to share my story as reading all of yours has helped me these last few weeks, f(28). After Thanksgiving 2021, so early-mid December (I was 26 at the time), I somehow herniated a disc. Before this happened, literally right before, I was hurting with what I think was a pulled lower back muscle (hurt to sit and lay down but pain was only in my back right side and rest helped, something I dealt with several times in my life starting in like 7th grade, drs always said it was a pulled muscle). After about a week it was feeling better so I decided it was safe to roll onto my right side to sleep. Well, after that I started experiencing pain all down that side, I also had some tingling and slight numbness in my foot and ankle. It was bad enough that I wasn't comfortable for more than 20 minutes, standing was the least painful, lucky to sleep 3 hours at once even though I'd wake up in horrible pain, basically always in tears from the pain and discomfort. I went to the dr after a few weeks and was told it's sciatica and he referred me for an mri, gave me some kind of shots and ibuprofen. I don't remember what the shots were but they took away all of the pain for 8-10 hours and I was able to get some much needed sleep. One may have been toradol but I got a shot of it the day of my mri so laying on my back during the scan wasn't too uncomfortable, and it didn't help much.
About 2 months after my symptoms started, I finally got the mri and it showed a decent sized herniation. I don't remember exactly where it was in my low back, but I was then referred to a neurologist who evaluated me and suggested ESI, he was fairly certain it would get better on it's own and I wouldn't need surgery, he said it may or may not decrease in size as well. The ESI worked as far as I can tell, but at this point it had been about 3-4 months of healing on my own using heat, stretches, and ibuprofen and the pain was mostly gone, lingering around a 2 at it's worst, but 0 after the ESI. The tingling in my foot and ankle had gone away and I was slowly getting back to normal. Aside from the occasional leg muscle cramps and discomfort laying on my right side, I had been pain and symptom free for about 2 years. I went on vacation in June last year, we did a lot of walking and even a steep hike. I worked for a year and a half in a dispensary, on my feet a lot as well as bending, squatting or leaning down, lifting heavyish totes. I had no pain or symptoms from this. I was hopeful that it had healed up and I was going to be perfectly fine, but I was still mindful of my back. I quit working last year in September to go back to school, since then I had been generally sitting or laying most of the time doing homework, of course I still helped around the house and went out to do stuff. I just wasn't moving nearly as much as when I was working. I had also gone on a trip to Seattle in September where we walked almost everywhere. Again, no pain or symptoms.
That takes me to earlier this year, about late February or early March. I was doing alright, then I noticed my hips feeling a little sore, starting in the left then later on the right, like a toothache or a pinching feeling in the sides and sometimes front. I felt it most when laying on them at first. It also felt sore when I pressed certain areas on the side. It felt like my thighs or hips were a bit unstable, if that makes sense. I did stretches, no difference. One night, during a shower, I leaned down to move a bottle on the floor and felt a very slight twinge in my lower back. Still no back pain or symptoms down either leg though. I also had been randomly waking up with pain and stiffness in my right foot and ankle that would go away after walking on it. Naturally, all this scared me and I started sleeping only on my back with a pillow under my knees, no longer sitting cross-legged or with my legs tucked beside me on the couch, making sure I wasn't slouching and getting up every hour to walk for a few minutes, generally trying to take care of my back. I'm also sitting to get dressed right after most showers because of my hips and I'm nervous my legs will give out. I made a dr appointment early April and he suggested PT for my hips, he wasn't worried about my back or doing any imaging.
I started PT April 15th. She evaluated my hips, had me do some stretches (most were laying down with my knees bent, putting pressure on my low back, I'm wondering if this caused my situation) and gave me stretches to do at home 2x day, appointments 2x week for a month. I should also mention during her evaluation she pressed on my lower back and it sucked, no pain down my legs, just under her hand. The stretches helped my hips for the first week, then my lower back started getting stiff and sore when I would lay down for a few hours or more. I mentioned this to my PT, but she didn't say anything. I kept up with the stretches (on a thick mat on the floor at home, or on my bed) and my lower back slowly got worse each day. Finally, after about 4 PT appointments and 2 weeks of stretches I quit doing them. My back was in quite a bit of pain, I started occasionally getting tingling and slight numbness down both sides in my lower calves and feet (sometimes together, sometimes either side) and it was painful to lay and sit longer than an hour. Made another dr appointment, he suggested it was my muscles and told me to ice, take ibuprofen, and gave me Diclofenac 1% gel, assuring me that PT wouldn't likely cause or worsen a herniation. I was with a different PT for the next appointment and she tried a TENS machine with a heating pad for the pain after I did some stretches that didn't seem to bother my back. I didn't notice any difference. That same night I went to the ER because I got up from a nap and the tingling and numbness wouldn't go away so it scared me. They gave me a steroid shot, a steroid pack, a few T3's and 325mg Tylenols as well as an MRI referral. I don't know if the steroids helped or just the overall more aggressive and earlier treatment this time, but my pain and symptoms (despite being on both sides, not just the right side) aren't nearly as bad as the first time, yet. I'm still uncomfortable and having a horrible time, but it's been manageable. Hopefully I don't feel any worse after being off the steroids for a while. I finished them last Thursday (May 9th) and I've been taking the 325mg Tylenol as needed, making sure to take 2 before bed, I took all the T3's as needed. PT since has been focused on pain management, deep heat ultrasound, TENS machine and heat, also k-tape which seems to provide a small difference.
Yesterday morning (the 13th) I woke up to my back feeling a little stiff and sore but I'd been trying a few stretches the last couple days, maybe that's what's causing it so I'm gonna stop for now. I'm sleeping alright, thankfully, naps as I need or can. As my back has gotten better, my hips haven't. There's still a pinching toothache type of feeling in the sides and front and my thighs still feel unstable while I walk sometimes. I can't lean back on the couch, sitting in the car is uncomfortable so I keep the seat up straight, laying down I still feel pressure in my low back but it's been bearable enough to sleep so far. I haven't tried walking for longer than an hour at a time, slowly and carefully, it doesn't bother my back so much as it does my hips. I lay down for a break during the day if I need it, though I try not to lay down too much. I get up and walk around a bit every hour or so and I help with housework when I can. I use ice or heat for 15 min when I feel like it. I try to go to bed only when I know I'm sleepy so I don't just lay there. I sit outside in the Sun and try to distract myself from the pain the best I can by doing whatever. But lately, being up straight most of the day has been making my upper back a little sore and sometimes I feel what might be spasms along my back (a tense pain that goes away after a few seconds to minutes) and some cramping sensations in my legs.
My MRI is scheduled for the 20th, I'm hoping with all my heart that it's nothing horrible. I've been keeping a log of my symptoms and writing down questions for if I go back to the neurologist (which I would like to). Again, I apologize for the super long post, I just hope this helps someone feel less alone and scared. I know I've been feeling pretty awful the last three weeks, I can't imagine how you who have worse pain feel. I have so much anxiety and fear about this and all the possibilities and it makes everything so difficult. I'm 28, almost 29, and with luck, I have 50-60 years of living left and there's so much I want to do, without anxiety of injuring my back or being in constant pain. This is one of the scariest things I've ever gone through because it seems like it can get complicated really fast and really easy, no warning. I'm not giving up hope that I'll be alright, but it's hard when you get worn down through the day and feel so many different scary symptoms. Hopefully they make some kind of medical advancement in the disc herniation department that truly helps the pain or at least effectively reduces reinjury chances.
TLDR: Sharing my story, had a lower back disc herniation in Dec 2021 causing horrible sciatica all down right side. Had ESI a few months later even though pain was minimal at that point, got better and was generally pain and symptom free for about 2 years. Symptoms came back after a few weeks of PT for unexplained hip pain, this time it's effecting both sides. Been dealing with it for about 3 weeks now with various treatments, MRI scheduled for the 20th.

How to get ex back help of genuine astrologer vashikaran specialist

Vashikaran astrology to get love back

Astrology, or Jyotish, studies celestial bodies and their influence on human life, playing a pivotal role in various aspects, including relationships. Vashikaran, distinct from astrology, is a Tantra-derived practice using mantras and rituals to influence or control others, primarily executed by Tantriks harnessing the Daivat mantra and their own aatmbal.
This article delves into how astrology and Vashikaran can be harnessed as proven techniques to reclaim lost love, exploring their roles and applications in mending relationships. Through practical techniques and successful case studies, readers will gain insights into reigniting love and the transformative power of these ancient practices.

Understanding Astrology and Its Role in Relationships

Astrology, often viewed as a guide for personal and romantic insights, holds a significant place in many people's lives when it comes to relationships. However, it's important to recognize that astrology is not scientifically proven to influence relationships or guarantee romantic reconciliation. The effectiveness of astrology in matters of love remains subjective and lacks empirical backing. Many turn to astrology to understand potential compatibility through various astrological signs and elements such as Fire, Earth, Air, and Water, each associated with specific zodiac signs.

Astrological Elements and Relationship Dynamics

Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Often passionate and dynamic, which can bring intensity to relationships.
Earth Signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo): Known for their stability and practicality, potentially offering a grounding effect in partnerships.
Air Signs (Gemini, Aquarius, Libra): Typically communicative and intellectual, which can foster mental stimulation and connection.
Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio): Deeply emotional and intuitive, possibly enhancing emotional bonds in relationships.
While astrology can provide a fascinating lens to view compatibility and personal traits, relying solely on astrological matches may lead to unrealistic expectations or a dependency on predetermined outcomes, which overlooks the essential personal effort required in relationships 3. It is crucial to understand that successful relationships are influenced by mutual respect, effective communication, and shared values, which are not determined by the stars.
Astrology can offer insights into one's personality and preferences, which might help in understanding each other better in a relationship context. For instance, knowing whether a partner prefers communication styles that align with their astrological sign can aid in smoother interactions. Additionally, astrology might suggest favorable times for significant relationship decisions, like marriage or other joint commitments. Get love back after breakup
However, a comprehensive approach that includes both astrological understanding and practical relationship skills, like communication and emotional intelligence, is more likely to contribute to the success and health of a relationship.

Exploring Vashikaran for Love Reconciliation

Vashikaran, an ancient practice integral to Indian customs, involves using specific mantras and rituals to influence or control a person's feelings and actions, particularly in romantic relationships. This mystical technique is employed to attract a specific person or rekindle a fading relationship, often facilitated by a Vashikaran specialist. However, the effectiveness and ethical implications of using Vashikaran are subjects of significant debate.

Vashikaran Techniques and Their Applications

Mantras and Yantras: Vashikaran mantras are ancient and are believed to tap into astronomical energies to fulfill the desires of the practitioner. Alongside, Vashikaran Yantras are used to control a person's mind, necessitating positive intentions and the guidance of experienced astrologers or tantriks.
Specialist Involvement: A genuine Vashikaran specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the process is performed ethically and correctly, aiming to control thoughts and actions for reclaiming lost love.
Ethical Considerations: Despite its popularity, Vashikaran is controversial, often viewed as manipulative and against Dharma. It is vital to approach these practices with caution, considering the moral implications and the potential for negative consequences.
Potential Outcomes and Risks
Effectiveness: The time for Vashikaran to take effect can vary greatly, influenced by factors such as the target's resistance, the Tantrik’s power, and the specific method used.
Controversies and Misuse: The use of Vashikaran mantras to gain control over someone's will is often seen as unethical and akin to black magic. Misuse can lead to serious repercussions for both the practitioner and the target, highlighting the importance of using such practices sparingly and with good intent.
In the context of love and relationships, while Vashikaran promises a solution to attract or regain a lost partner, it is essential to weigh its ethical considerations and potential risks carefully.
Practical Techniques to Reignite Love Vashikaran Mantras and Rituals
Addressing Marriage Conflicts: Utilizing Vashikaran can enhance understanding and strengthen bonds between partners, thus addressing core issues in marriage conflicts.
Divorce Prevention: Specific Vashikaran mantras are designed to ease tensions and encourage compromise, potentially preventing divorce proceedings.
Family Harmony: Implementing Vashikaran mantras can also foster harmony, understanding, and unity within family settings.
Daily Practices for Relationship Strengthening
Open Communication: Regular sharing of daily experiences and maintaining open lines of communication are fundamental in building trust and resolving relationship issues.
Specialist Guidance: Consulting a love marriage specialist can provide tailored advice for partners considering reuniting after a breakup.
Mantra Instructions for Relationship Mending
Basic Mantra Practice: Familiarize with the mantra, chant it 100,000 times for mastery, and then 14 times with the desired person’s name to rekindle the relationship.
Avoiding Divorce: Chant a specific mantra 81 times over 11 days with a focus on the partner seeking divorce to avoid separation.
Reigniting Love: The simplest yet powerful Vashikaran mantra should be chanted 3 to 5 times daily with sincere intentions to restore lost love.
Advanced Rituals for Deeper Connection Blissful Union:Enhance the joy and depth in a relationship by performing a ritual involving mantra chanting and placing a couple's photograph under candles.
Eternal Commitment: Solidify long-term commitment by lighting a white candle, meditating on its flame, and chanting a dedicated mantra.
Passion Resurgence: To reignite passion, create a ritual space with candles, write down past grievances, burn the paper, and chant a specific mantra.
Ethical Considerations and Effectiveness Moral Implications: While Vashikaran mantras can create a positive atmosphere, it's crucial to consider the ethical implications and ensure the intentions are pure.
Patience and Practice: Achieving the desired outcomes with Vashikaran requires patience, time, and consistent practice.

Ethical and Practical Warnings
Sakshi Singh: Warns against the dangers of obsessively pursuing an ex, advising individuals to focus on personal happiness and well-being instead.
Jaya Surya: An astrology student who cautions against the severe potential consequences of using tantrik methods in personal relationships.
Conclusion
Throughout this exploration of astrology and Vashikaran, we have uncovered their roles and applications in navigating the complexities of love and relationships. Astrology offers insights into compatibility and relationship dynamics, albeit without empirical backing, encouraging a more profound understanding of oneself and one's partner. On the other hand, Vashikaran presents a more controversial approach, wielding the power to influence and rekindle love through specific rituals and mantras, while also prompting a nuanced discussion on ethical considerations and the implications of such practices.
Given the insights and case studies presented, it is clear that the journey to mend or enhance relationships spans beyond the realms of celestial influence and mystical practices. Both astrology and Vashikaran prompt individuals to reflect on their personal commitments, ethical boundaries, and the depths of their intentions. As we consider these ancient practices in the context of modern relationships, it remains crucial to balance spiritual or mystical solutions with practical, ethical considerations and interpersonal communication, fostering relationships built on mutual respect, understanding, and genuine connection.

2024.05.15 07:25 Total-Mastodon-6888 Top 10 Mistakes to Avoid in Your Visa Application

The prospect of embarking on a new adventure in a foreign country can be exhilarating. However, the visa application process
can often feel like navigating a complex maze, riddled with potential pitfalls. At Adric Immigration Consultants in Bangalore, we understand the importance of meticulous preparation when applying for a visa. Here, we unveil the top 10 mistakes to avoid, ensuring your application journey is smooth and successful.
1. Incompleteness and Inaccuracy: The Cardinal Sins
Missing Information: Leaving sections blank or failing to provide all the requested documentation is a recipe for application rejection. Always double-check the application form and ensure you have gathered all the necessary documents well in advance.
Inaccuracies and Inconsistencies: Typos, factual errors, or discrepancies between your application form and supporting documents can raise red flags for immigration officers. Proofread your application meticulously and ensure all details are consistent across all documents.
Unrealistic Travel Dates: Be realistic when specifying your intended travel dates. Delays in processing are common, so factor in a buffer period between your application submission and planned travel dates.
2. Applying for the Wrong Visa: Choosing the Right Path
Misunderstanding Visa Categories: Different visa categories cater to specific purposes, such as tourism, work, or studies. Thoroughly research the visa options offered by your target country and choose the one that aligns perfectly with your travel goals. Don’t hesitate to seek professional guidance if you’re unsure about the most suitable visa category.
Ignoring Eligibility Requirements: Each visa category comes with specific eligibility criteria. Failing to meet these requirements can lead to an immediate rejection. Carefully review the eligibility requirements for your chosen visa category and ensure you qualify before initiating the application process.
3. Failing to Disclose All Information: Honesty is the Best Policy
Misrepresenting Information: Tempting as it might be to omit certain information, complete honesty is crucial when applying for a visa. Fabricating facts or failing to disclose past travel history or criminal records can have severe consequences, including permanent visa ineligibility.
Undeclared Financial Resources: Proof of sufficient financial resources is often a mandatory requirement for many visa applications. Underestimating your expenses or failing to provide adequate financial documentation can raise concerns about your ability to support yourself during your stay.
4. Missing Documentation: Leaving Gaps in Your Story
Incomplete Documentation: Every visa application requires specific supporting documents. Missing documents can create delays or lead to rejection. Carefully review the required documents list and ensure you have everything in order before submitting your application.
Outdated Documents: Certain documents like medical certificates or police clearances have expiry dates. Ensure all your supporting documents are valid and current as per the application requirements.
Improper Translations and Authentication: If any of your documents are not in the official language of your target country, ensure they are translated by a certified translator and bear proper apostille seals or legalization if mandated.
5. Neglecting Application Fees: Don’t Forget the Formalities
Missing Fees: Visa applications often come with associated fees. Failing to pay the correct fee at the designated time can delay your application processing or lead to rejection. Research the applicable fees beforehand and ensure timely payment through the designated channels.
Forgetting Additional Costs: Beyond the official application fee, there might be additional costs associated with medical examinations, biometric data collection, or courier services. Factor in all potential costs when planning your visa application budget.
6. Failing to Meet Deadlines: Time is of the Essence
Missing Deadlines: Visa applications have specific filing deadlines. Late submissions can lead to complications, missed opportunities, or even application rejection. Plan ahead, gather your documents well in advance, and submit your application before the deadline.
Improper Scheduling (Interviews): For certain visa categories, a visa interview with a consular officer is mandatory. Treat this interview seriously, schedule it well in advance to avoid last-minute complications, and arrive promptly on the designated date.
7. Inadequate Travel Insurance Coverage: Be Prepared for the Unexpected
Insufficient Coverage: Travel insurance can be a visa requirement for some countries. Ensure your chosen travel insurance plan offers adequate coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and repatriation costs.
Neglecting Specific Requirements: Some countries might have specific travel insurance coverage requirements. Double-check if your chosen plan fulfills the minimum coverage mandated by the visa category.
8. Underestimating Processing Times: Patience is Key
Unrealistic Expectations: Visa processing times can vary significantly depending on the visa category, workload of the processing center, and individual circumstances. Research the average processing times for your chosen visa and be prepared for potential delays.
8. Underestimating Processing Times: Patience is Key (continued)
Frequent Inquiries: While it’s understandable to be eager about the status of your application, avoid bombarding immigration authorities with inquiries. Most processing centers offer online portals where you can track the progress of your application.

2024.05.15 07:24 Own_Employ_5971 Tips for moving on from ex you don’t want to be with

Hi everyone I (F25) was broken up with my (M24) ex last year after being long distance dating for 2.5 years and then moving in together for only 6 months before ending things. (Roughly 3 years together total)
(Side note, this was my first relationship ever)
We met online and were living in different states. I made lots of efforts to go visit him and sometimes he’d come visit me but I still lived with my parents so we enjoyed being together in his state/place but I would get homesick really quickly.
When we got to the point of deciding to move in with each other, he said he wanted to try a state that was new to both of us. He was ready to leave his state but he stated he never wanted to ever live where I originally lived. Mind you, I had my whole family, friends and work back in my state.. he worked remotely..
We went on a trip to visit the new state and found a really perfect little apartment for us but when we were flying back, I got this horrible gut feeling of not wanting to move. I told him this and he got upset and completely shut down and didn’t speak to me the whole flight back. I got nauseous and anxious and told him my concerns. He said “we can just try. It’s not permanent”. I gave in and we move there.
Among other things that were just not working in our relationship, I feel like I compromised so much of my life and completely lost myself in the relationship. I made enough money with my job to fly back and forth for work/life but I was so depressed. We had no friends or social circle in our new city/state. I would wake up sobbing often just not having any motivation to do anything I was homesick but also exhausted from constantly flying. He had the audacity to tell me that me crying all the time was hard on him as a boyfriend. Never once did he make an effort to try and live where I originally lived.
Eventually, we broke up and I know now that it was the best decision. We ended on good terms. I even remember he walked me to the train station that was heading to the airport. We hugged, I kissed him on the cheek and we both said “I love you” before leaving for the last time.
We tried to be friends at first and we’d send memes or little things here and there but eventually it was a lot and I was having a hard time healing. We both amicably decided to go “no contact”. I remember I sent 3 messages over the course of two months after breaking up. None of them were about getting back together but more about hoping he was doing okay. He responded and it was kept pretty simple.
I sent one last message saying that I really missed out friendship and hoped that one day in the future when we’re both healed and in good places in our lives, we could catch up and try being friends. He never responded. That was 7 months ago.
I’ve cried, journaled, healed, cried some more, ect. I have great things going on in my life. I’m developing better relationships with my friends and family and have amazing work opportunities on my horizons.
The breakup was 10 months ago and I can definitely say that I’m in a much better position than I was when it first happened. Time heals all wounds and even though it hasn’t been a year yet, it’s been long enough that I feel like I should be more over it than I am.
I’m not wanting to get back with my ex at all because I was genuinely hurt with the lack of consideration of my crumbling mental health due to moving somewhere I didn’t want to move to.
I guess where I’m getting at is even though I’m healing and getting to a good happy place in my life, a part of me wants some form of closure. I don’t know what. An apology? A response from that text I sent 7 months ago. It makes it hard to move on knowing he “might” reach out one day. How do you deal with that feeling? Again, first relationship so I don’t have any other forms of reference on how to get over someone. Just would love to know if you’ve dealt with something similar, how you got over it even while feeling like some closure would help tremendously.
TLDR : We’re broken up, I don’t want to get back together but feel like an apology or closure would help me move on. How do you/did you get over it??
This is my first post ever so thanks in advance:)
