I’m getting ready to move to CA. I bought some land there and will be parking a camper, RV or van to live in. I’m just starting to shop and it’s a bit overwhelming with all the options and now I’m seeing some crazy price differences between CA and VA. At least in terms of asking price. I have some flexibility so I was thinking I might take my truck and buy a camper closer to CA so I’m not paying a billion in gas but it looks like asking prices start going up a lot from west Texas through NM, AZ and definitely if I took the more northern route through CO.

 | Hey guys, I’ve got kind of a weird one. I have a palomino truck camper with manual jacks and a pretty tall lifted truck. Now without lecturing me about getting a lower truck and everything does anyone have any experience building a stem wall or something elevated to back into and rest the camper on? Something I could use as sort of a make shift loading dock? I want to build something on the side of my house roughly 30 inches tall but will give my camper a good platform to rest on, that way I only have to raise it a few inches before loading it onto the truck.  | Mythic cars make winning solos impossible without them. A few select players who get them WILL reach the top 5 and WILL get 5 or more kills via camping on a hill and firing their infinite ammunition at other players and/or ramming them for 150 damage. The first make build fighting impossible. You simply cannot build fight any more. If someone gets height on you, just uppercut! Not only will it bring you up and them down but It will damage them a LOT! also when using the fists you can also randomly die to fall damage afterwards which is what happened in the last of these three second place finished pictured. All in all, the game has changed too much. Building is useless, sit in a car and fire bombs and bullets. If you build you'll get uppercut and punched down onto by your opponent and then thirded by a car camper. Please could the game return to somewhat of a familiar state where building is actually useful. Zero builds has completely taken over epic games thought processes and no steps are being taken to make builds actually playable. Also, during the performance review cup today, myself and many friends had a blast playing good old build fortnite, yes there were still fists but no cars in a competitive mode!!! How sensible does that sound!? Please remove the cars from ranked so we can all be happy. Dear all, I am looking for a certain product / idea. I would love to turn a disco 2 into an overland camper to travel Africa (I live in Europe). I think a disco would be an Ideal vehicle. They have good fuel economy, on road comfort, off road capability and modifications. In building an overlander one of the best things is interior living space. Therefore I was thinking of turning the passenger seat into a swivel seat, so that it turns and faces into the car, for me to sit on, eat, read and be comfortable when the weather is shit.
Has anyone ever seen these? Is it feasible and if so easy to make? Thanks!

Hey Minnesota campers! I just found out about some last-minute openings for Joyce Estate in the Chippewa National Forest North of Grand Rapids, MN. Joyce Estate is on Trout Lake, one of our great state's aqua blue spring-fed lakes with a hard sandy bottom. The surrounding acreage is covered in old-growth white pines. It really could not be more picturesque.
During a winter storm, a tree fell on the lodge building at Joyce Estate. A non-profit called HistoriCorps has been working with the National Forest to gather volunteers who wish to gain preservation trade skills while working to restore historic structures on public lands.
A few volunteer slots just opened up for this project. Homemade meals, campsites, tools, and instruction are provided for folks of a variety of skill levels. Volunteering is a great way to become part of the history of these unique structures. There are currently openings for June 2nd thru 7th and June 9th thru 14th. Requirements are: - low butget, also for maintenance - as small as possible ( only 2m by 3,2m box) - as self sufficient as possible - 230V inside - warm water for shower - heater - air conditioning if possible ( has 2 dogs)
My thoughts so far: - ditch the gas and replace with electric only devices ( safes space and money for refill) - 2x 100AH LiFePO4 Batteries - as much splar panels as possible (2 or 3) - 12V 6liter Boiler - 12V air heater - maybe also a diesel heater for emergencys - 230V induction cooker - freezer already able to 12V
So my question is: Is there any reason to not ditch the gas system?

Point in case the hunt system inside of ffxiv used to be that of wonders. Now you are lucky to get to the teleporter before tp campers block the entire server making the que more than 50 and then it being pulled within 2 minutes of the call out. During events and prime time you'd think the wait time for these would be at LEAST ten minutes but people are so impatient they need to get back to RPing and building a fake house some more.
It's actually mind numbing and probably the most toxic part of ffxiv. You got early pullers, people who want to get back to "doing nothing", I say this because usually they don't have all classes maxed and if they do they are still doing nothing with their time but standing around like it's a chat room. I get it, you made friends on a game. Cool for you.
So I say the same thing inside of the discord for centerio hunts only to be witch hunted and told by 2 very mediocre players I don't know anything about ffxiv and I must be new or not paying attention. All goes against the ToS yet nothing happened to these individuals. I took it upon myself to rectify the situation and give them a piece of my mind IN A PRIVATE MESSAGE after hours of waiting for them to be removed.
As to my amazement I clicked on centerio hunts and it claimed I was banned. I knew why but was immediately laughing because of the hypocrisy displayed. Didn't think anything of it until I joined a different discord for hunts. Shocking to find out within 5 minutes of being inside I get banned from that one? Without saying anything? Doing anything? Nothing? Very shady practice. How do you get banned for nothing? You cannot say it's because of the message as I wasn't even a part of that group when it happened so..
The way this was all handled by the mods makes me think the mods are NOT very smart or bright in the discord centerio hunts community and that primal has to be hands down the worst data center to be a part of for hunts. Glad I never have to see these individuals again. Sad people

I have a fairly large home shop (4500 sq/ft) that supports our farm, but I also do a fair bit of metal work associated with building campers and other odds and ends. I’m certainly no machinist, but I’ve quite often needed something to cut slots, drill a series of repeatable holes on an axis, and then mill small parts in aluminum and mild steel. I’m often doing stuff on longer tube. I was thinking of setting up a table against a wall with a radial arm drill press on one side and mill on the other such that they could share a support table between for the occasional work on longer tube that requires support. Also something that could handle drill and tapping operations where one drills and one taps. Most of my stuff is really just drilling holes in precise locations, but being able to cut slots, small parts and shave dimension of things would be a huge plus for me.
Any suggestions on a good mill for home use that is easy to operate? I’d been looking at the Grizzly Mill Drill Combos and the Grizzly radial arm, but always prefer to get older equipment. I don’t have budgetary limitations and shop has 3 phase. I don’t mind a larger machine but something of a Bridgeport size seems way overkill for the type of stuff I do so I was leaning towards a mid to larger size bench top unit.

I'm so sorry this is very long, and a little all over the place. I just wanted to have all the information there, and tried to leave no gaps or missing info.
I posted a version of this on the infidelity reddit, and of course they are not the most supportive. I know most would leave, or allow my husband to leave. But honestly I'm not trapping him, If he truly wanted to leave then he could have. He could have left before I got home from work, he stayed because he wanted me to talk him out of throwing our life away.
My husband and I have been together for almost 13 years, married almost 12. About 2ish years ago we hit a rough patch and stopped communicating and working together. 3 years ago his daughter (13) moved in with us, she is severely depressed, has anxiety and ptsd among other mental health diagnosis. When she came to us, she had been using drugs and drinking for the previous 6 months, so we set about getting her sober and working through withdrawals. School was also a constant battle, getting her to do her schoolwork and practice the things she was learning in therapy. I say we were dealing with all of this, however, it was mostly on me. My work schedule allowed me to adjust my availability to work with her therapy schedule and to alow me to be home to help with schoolwork. My husband is working third shift and unfortunately had been unable to move to a different shift, so I didn't mind carrying a lot of the load he was working to provide for the family. In the midst of this my SD ended up getting hospitalized for having a plan to unalive her self, where I started taking her to individual and group therapy 5 days a week. While dealing with the recovery from that we also had multiple deaths in the family (6 total between the 3 of us in a year and a half).
So that is the stress that caused us to begin to disconnect, the first year honestly was fine, stressful but we were managing until 2 years ago when the disconnect really started happening. My focus stopped being on our relationship and I was constantly dealing with putting out fires. My step daughter and I began butting heads, her psychiatrist attributed it to her borderline personality disorder. Our house started turning into a war zone, I would go to my husband and ask for help and he wouldn't step in or fully have my back. He was always tired from work and sleeping (there were weeks when he would be working almlst 70 hours). My SD was openly disrespectful and aggressive towards me and we would get into verbal arguments (not in the beginning, the relationship devolved).
While all this was going on at home, my husband began to confide in a female coworker (let's call her Sandy). The two of them would vent about their home lives. He mentioned one day to me how he had a crush on her, I told him I wasn't comfortable with the friendship. He kept it on, eventually moving to her team to work along side her, after i asked him not to.
Now he has never physically done anything, not making an excuse just painting the picture. There definitely was a start of emotional affairs, one his side atleast. The women never expressed any romantic interest in him, he would just build these up in his head. But it doesn't hurt any less that he began to develop feelings for these women and wanted to leave to try and see if something could happen.
As he confided in Sandy and got closer to her, he began to have feelings for her. She knew/knows about his crush. He would come home constantly talking about her, and about her relationship problems (her cheating on her significant other with a different coworker). About how he would give her advice about her relationships, and so on. I still kept asking for distance.
January of this year he came to me and told me he wanted to move out. That he wasn't in love with me and wanted to see where things would go with a different coworker (lsts call her Nancy, who was also in a relationship). He went back and forth for a few days about wanting to leave, or wanting to stay and work on us before he finally told me about the other woman. We spent the night and next day talking about everything and he decided to stay and work on us. He stopped communicating with her, told her they weren't to speak to each other any longer at work and that was it. After a few weeks she got a new job and quit.
Beginning of February my SD moves back to her mother's after she had been fighting to go back for ages. My husband and I had gotten to the point with her therapists, that there was really nothing more we could give/offer her. So we let her go, hoping that things would start to improve for her if she was in an environment where she wanted to be. She has been doing slightly better, and does seem happier.
Sandy and my husband work the same shift, same team they see each other 40-50 hours a week. Where we see each other 2ish hours a day Sun-Friday and have Saturday together if I don't have to work and aftwr he sleeps from working Friday night.
End of March/Beginning of April, I had a feeling and took a day off from work so my husband and I could talk. My husband decided to tell me he was moving out, that he was moving to a camper on the Sandy's property and would live there. Apparently she had been in his ear the whole time we had been working on each other, telling him to leave me, that he was unhappy. Reminding him of how his daughter and i fought, and that we would scream and call each other names. He again was on the fence about leaving or staying. I told him if he wanted to stay and REALLY work on us there needs to be distance between them. I asked him to give me time to get a better job so I don't have to be financially dependent on him, as I don't want him to feel obligated to give me money (he said he would if he moved out). He decided that yes, we would work on us that he would tell Sandy that we were working things out. At first they were still friends as before and then she started reminding him of all the negative things and never being supportive of him working on his marriage. She even at one point told him after he would tell her to stop her BS and that we were working on us, that she just wants him to be miserable because she is miserable. Her boyfriend told her he was done with her, he is talking her to court for custody of their son. One of her affair partners just stopped talking to her and the other refuses to leave his girlfriend for her (even after Sandy messaged her and told her everything about their relationship.)
Which brings us to now, I started having a feeling 3 weeks ago and asked him why he was distant. He told me that Sandy was moving to another shift and he was sad that he was losing his friend. By this point I had him block her on social media, and was under the impression they stopped communicating unless it was about work. Well, no, she had been in his ear after about 2-3 weeks of us building back from April. So with this feeling I had, I came home early from work on day and he told me again that he was leaving. That he didn't love me (which he told me he said to try and make it easier, but that he still does and I know he does) and she had asked him to move to her place. She had started complaining about all the stuff she has to do now that she hates now that her boyfriend is gone (man chlres like cutting the lawn). She offered to him to have an undefined relationship and be life long partners. He told me he loved her and wanted to see the what if. I messaged her and told her to back off from my husband and allow us to work on us, and that it was impossible with her being in his ear constantly. That she needs to focus on her children and work on herself. She went off on me and my husband and blocked us both.
He said seeing the way she attacked me and spoke about me in the messages lifted the veil from in front of his eyes. And while he misses having a buddy at work, he feels disgusted by how she was with him. How he was so stupid for allowing himself to be manipulated and almost leaving me. Everyday he has gone to work and seen her, he beats himself up for what he tried to do to us. He hasn't spoken a word to her, even with them being on the same team. She went to one of the higher ups bringing the drama to them because he isn't speaking to her (in her message to him she told him "NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN.") No one has spoken to my husband about it, but he did let one of his managers know the other night in case something comes of it. In case something happens at work, since her and her friend at wotk have began to be slightly hostile towards him (nothing really reportable yet). He allowed him to read the messages and was told to just keep doing what he's doing and avoid her until she leaves. He says he us actively disgusted by her and is constantly apologizing for what he was doing..and keeps thanking me for helping him to find the man he used to be.
We are working things out, and we both know we need this cloud of her gone before we can truly connect. So he is still going into work at night, and I am just filled with so much anxiety. He tried to talk to one of the managers and see of he can switch places with someone else on another team, he was told that they cant just force someone else to moce from their team. So now we are waiting out her going to an opposite shift. She is going to first shift (got approved, just their job drags their feet to move people to their new positions), while he is still on third and in a different department. We are also in the process of applying for new jobs for both of us, for a fresh start and more distance.
I just hate feeling like my life is up in the air, I love this man with all my heart, and I am still in love with him. I told him that I will be here to support him as he starts his grieving process of losing that friendship. I told him I don't want us to talk about splitting up in the future while we are working on us. I want us to remain positive while we work on us, and not taint it with being negative about the future. I told him I know us fully working on us will only really start to happen once she is no longer in his life and he can fully clear his mind of her. I asked him to atleast give me that much, to atleast try and then attend marriage counseling if we hit a wall. He has agreed, but I still have so much anxiety about all this. I know it will pass, but it's just so hard.

I posted a version of this on the infidelity reddit, and of course they are not the most supportive. I know most would leave, or allow my husband to leave. But honestly I'm not trapping him, If he truly wanted to leave then he could have. He could have left before I got home from work, he stayed because he wanted me to talk him out of throwing our life away.
My husband and I have been together for almost 13 years, married almost 12. About 2ish years ago we hit a rough patch and stopped communicating and working together. 3 years ago his daughter (13) moved in with us, she is severely depressed, has anxiety and ptsd among other mental health diagnosis. When she came to us, she had been using drugs and drinking for the previous 6 months, so we set about getting her sober and working through withdrawals. School was also a constant battle, getting her to do her schoolwork and practice the things she was learning in therapy. I say we were dealing with all of this, however, it was mostly on me. My work schedule allowed me to adjust my availability to work with her therapy schedule and to alow me to be home to help with schoolwork. My husband is working third shift and unfortunately had been unable to move to a different shift, so I didn't mind carrying a lot of the load he was working to provide for the family. In the midst of this my SD ended up getting hospitalized for having a plan to unalive her self, where I started taking her to individual and group therapy 5 days a week. While dealing with the recovery from that we also had multiple deaths in the family (6 total between the 3 of us in a year and a half).
So that is the stress that caused us to begin to disconnect, the first year honestly was fine, stressful but we were managing until 2 years ago when the disconnect really started happening. My focus stopped being on our relationship and I was constantly dealing with putting out fires. My step daughter and I began butting heads, her psychiatrist attributed it to her borderline personality disorder. Our house started turning into a war zone, I would go to my husband and ask for help and he wouldn't step in or fully have my back. He was always tired from work and sleeping (there were weeks when he would be working almlst 70 hours). My SD was openly disrespectful and aggressive towards me and we would get into verbal arguments (not in the beginning, the relationship devolved).
While all this was going on at home, my husband began to confide in a female coworker (let's call her Sandy). The two of them would vent about their home lives. He mentioned one day to me how he had a crush on her, I told him I wasn't comfortable with the friendship. He kept it on, eventually moving to her team to work along side her, after i asked him not to.
Now he has never physically done anything, not making an excuse just painting the picture. There definitely was a start of emotional affairs, one his side atleast. The women never expressed any romantic interest in him, he would just build these up in his head. But it doesn't hurt any less that he began to develop feelings for these women and wanted to leave to try and see if something could happen.
As he confided in Sandy and got closer to her, he began to have feelings for her. She knew/knows about his crush. He would come home constantly talking about her, and about her relationship problems (her cheating on her significant other with a different coworker). About how he would give her advice about her relationships, and so on. I still kept asking for distance.
January of this year he came to me and told me he wanted to move out. That he wasn't in love with me and wanted to see where things would go with a different coworker (lsts call her Nancy, who was also in a relationship). He went back and forth for a few days about wanting to leave, or wanting to stay and work on us before he finally told me about the other woman. We spent the night and next day talking about everything and he decided to stay and work on us. He stopped communicating with her, told her they weren't to speak to each other any longer at work and that was it. After a few weeks she got a new job and quit.
Beginning of February my SD moves back to her mother's after she had been fighting to go back for ages. My husband and I had gotten to the point with her therapists, that there was really nothing more we could give/offer her. So we let her go, hoping that things would start to improve for her if she was in an environment where she wanted to be. She has been doing slightly better, and does seem happier.
Sandy and my husband work the same shift, same team they see each other 40-50 hours a week. Where we see each other 2ish hours a day Sun-Friday and have Saturday together if I don't have to work and aftwr he sleeps from working Friday night.
End of March/Beginning of April, I had a feeling and took a day off from work so my husband and I could talk. My husband decided to tell me he was moving out, that he was moving to a camper on the Sandy's property and would live there. Apparently she had been in his ear the whole time we had been working on each other, telling him to leave me, that he was unhappy. Reminding him of how his daughter and i fought, and that we would scream and call each other names. He again was on the fence about leaving or staying. I told him if he wanted to stay and REALLY work on us there needs to be distance between them. I asked him to give me time to get a better job so I don't have to be financially dependent on him, as I don't want him to feel obligated to give me money (he said he would if he moved out). He decided that yes, we would work on us that he would tell Sandy that we were working things out. At first they were still friends as before and then she started reminding him of all the negative things and never being supportive of him working on his marriage. She even at one point told him after he would tell her to stop her BS and that we were working on us, that she just wants him to be miserable because she is miserable. Her boyfriend told her he was done with her, he is talking her to court for custody of their son. One of her affair partners just stopped talking to her and the other refuses to leave his girlfriend for her (even after Sandy messaged her and told her everything about their relationship.)
Which brings us to now, I started having a feeling 3 weeks ago and asked him why he was distant. He told me that Sandy was moving to another shift and he was sad that he was losing his friend. By this point I had him block her on social media, and was under the impression they stopped communicating unless it was about work. Well, no, she had been in his ear after about 2-3 weeks of us building back from April. So with this feeling I had, I came home early from work on day and he told me again that he was leaving. That he didn't love me (which he told me he said to try and make it easier, but that he still does and I know he does) and she had asked him to move to her place. She had started complaining about all the stuff she has to do now that she hates now that her boyfriend is gone (man chlres like cutting the lawn). She offered to him to have an undefined relationship and be life long partners. He told me he loved her and wanted to see the what if. I messaged her and told her to back off from my husband and allow us to work on us, and that it was impossible with her being in his ear constantly. That she needs to focus on her children and work on herself. She went off on me and my husband and blocked us both.
He said seeing the way she attacked me and spoke about me in the messages lifted the veil from in front of his eyes. And while he misses having a buddy at work, he feels disgusted by how she was with him. How he was so stupid for allowing himself to be manipulated and almost leaving me. Everyday he has gone to work and seen her, he beats himself up for what he tried to do to us. He hasn't spoken a word to her, even with them being on the same team. She went to one of the higher ups bringing the drama to them because he isn't speaking to her (in her message to him she told him "NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGAIN.") No one has spoken to my husband about it, but he did let one of his managers know the other night in case something comes of it. In case something happens at work, since her and her friend at wotk have began to be slightly hostile towards him (nothing really reportable yet). He allowed him to read the messages and was told to just keep doing what he's doing and avoid her until she leaves. He says he us actively disgusted by her and is constantly apologizing for what he was doing..and keeps thanking me for helping him to find the man he used to be.
We are working things out, and we both know we need this cloud of her gone before we can truly connect. So he is still going into work at night, and I am just filled with so much anxiety. He tried to talk to one of the managers and see of he can switch places with someone else on another team, he was told that they cant just force someone else to moce from their team. So now we are waiting out her going to an opposite shift. She is going to first shift (got approved, just their job drags their feet to move people to their new positions), while he is still on third and in a different department. We are also in the process of applying for new jobs for both of us, for a fresh start and more distance.
I just hate feeling like my life is up in the air, I love this man with all my heart, and I am still in love with him. I told him that I will be here to support him as he starts his grieving process of losing that friendship. I told him I don't want us to talk about splitting up in the future while we are working on us. I want us to remain positive while we work on us, and not taint it with being negative about the future. I told him I know us fully working on us will only really start to happen once she is no longer in his life and he can fully clear his mind of her. I asked him to atleast give me that much, to atleast try and then attend marriage counseling if we hit a wall. He has agreed, but I still have so much anxiety about all this. I know it will pass, but it's just so hard.

Recently some seeds we kept for laboratory testing went rancid and attracted plenty of roaches (from the sewers it seems like). I never saw any live ones but one, and no nymphs - only dead adults, but plenty of them. Around 8-10 every day. I saw only one live one and noticed something good - it tried and was not able to climb my porcelain walls and could not get away! Since the entire building is laden with porcelain tiles (requirement of local regulations) I pretty much know they cannot get off the floor. Here's what I have done thus far:

I recently switched from Brxsie's LO template to LLO2. My game has never been this problem free. Previously, I was dealing with what we're calling "script bloat," though the jury is still out on if that's the real issue. So, there were occasional crashes and the dropped dialogue, missing or disappearing dialogue options, or not even being able to engage in dialogue with NPCs.
When I switched, I also deleted a lot of mods. With the Brxsie template, I had a count of 241 actual mods. I don't know the Just Checking count. I dropped to 187 actual mods with Just Checking reading 159. Vast freaking improvement.
So, everything has been hunky dory until a couple of quests seem to be coming into some conflict.
When speaking to Froki, there are no dialogue options other than to upgrade his shack, not the usual dialogue to start Kyne's Sacred Trials.
The other is with the Thieves Guild. I was able to go all the way through Taking Care of Business and after following Brynjolf into the Cistern, he turns around and walks out and everyone in the Cistern turns hostile.
But man, it is fantastic to play the game again without the "script bloat" problem. Script bloat would require an occasional shut down of the game and a restart to get things going. With no crashing and no restarting, its been fantastic!
Anyone mind taking a look at my order, see if the placement is causing these quests to not start?
