2024.05.16 10:26 Free-Donkey-6258 I'm stuck in foreign country

Hi, I'm a refugee living in Belgium for the last few months.
And here's the thing. The war started, we moved here, I lost my job, and my fiance now earns much less money because of higher taxes.
Actually, I don't have my own money. If I want something, I can ask for it, but the first strategy is economy, and that drives me crazy.
So yeah, I need a job, BUT I don't know Dutch/French. I've just completed Dutch A1, and it's OFC not enough for a normal job.
Also, I had real health issues because I got a strange disease after moving here that blocked my vestibular system. (It seems like Belgium doesn't like me at all.)
And here are several options:
  1. Start attending Dutch full-time university courses
• Pluses: 6 months and I'll have B1, friends (probably), some kind of integration • Minuses: no money, no time
  1. Work for my home country remotely (near 1500 euros) + attend evening courses
• Pluses: free time, money, possibility to travel • Minuses: lack of integration, B1 gained in one year, no language practice
  1. Start working with mentors who will help me find a job in Belgium with English
• Pluses: free time for my additional education, kind of integration, maybe I'll find a job, integration and language practice • Minuses: I don't know if it actually works; if it doesn't, I'll lose the time.
There's a chance (a little chance) we'll be pushed from here because our "temporary protection" ends on March 25, and there's no guarantee for renewal of documents. So imagine I'm finishing a university Dutch course and being pushed from here, -6 months. Dank u.
I don't know which way to choose to live. This is a stupid question, I know, but I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons, and there's still no answer nor in de heart, nor in de braine
I will appreciate any advice. I know the real pros of money/job, but I don't know if the language will help me survive here that much. I feel like Im a loser right now and there s no right solution..

2024.05.16 10:24 MajorRevarto What annoys me when studying math

As a student who loves math and solves a lot of problems every day, there are 3 things that annoy me the most when studying it: - a) When I've solved a certain type of problem and practiced on similar ones, so much so that the concept is firmly in my head, but unfortunately, after a few months it becomes foggy. It's not that I've forgotten it completely, but there is a lag in speed and fluency. I wonder when I'll get to the point where it becomes second nature to me? (sighs) Just like simple arithmetic questions where you hardly need to think. b) When I can't find a solution, even though I actually “know” the answer. Let me give you an example: I was stuck halfway through an absolute value question and couldn't find the answer to the base function. After many attempts, I was still puzzled and decided to throw in the towel and check the solution, only to find that it was something that just blinded me at the time because I clearly understood not only the solution, but every step along the way to solving it. I don't know if it has to do with innovation and creativity in math, or a lack of patience, or just luck. I'm not looking for any advice on the problems I mentioned, but I'm happy to listen if you offer it to me.

2024.05.16 10:14 dming-is-hard When do I know I can trust the answers I get?

Hi! I’m very new to both practicing and to using Reddit so apologies beforehand if the format’s off or if I get anything wrong.
I’ve been having some relationship issues lately, and yesterday I tried using three forms of divination (Asking my pendulum, doing a past/present/future reading on our relationship and attempting some bibliomancy using music) and they all gave pretty much the same answer, so I’m wondering is that enough to truly trust it? I want to trust the answers but I don’t know if I should still be wary of things turning out differently.
The pendulum told me that things will be fine, and although my partner is upset right now, he is open to working things out. For the tarot reading I got The Hermit upright for past, The Star reversed for present and Queen of Pentacles upright for future, which I interpreted as meaning we have a positive future. (If I have misinterpreted what I got for Future, please let me know.) For the bibliomancy I used quite a large playlist with different types of songs, shuffled it and got a love song, which I hope would mean good things to come. I also asked my pendulum whether the two other answers I got were trustworthy and it said yes.
Again, I’m very new to all of this, so please let me know if I’ve done anything the wrong way. I also want to make it clear I’m not relying on this to fix my relationship, and I know that requires work from both me and my partner, all I wanted from this was to have an insight in whether or not trying to fix things would be worth it. I keep asking my pendulum the same questions and getting the same, positive answers, but I’m terrified of the answer changing.
Sorry for the rant, but basically is getting the same answer from three different forms of divination enough to trust the answer?

2024.05.16 10:05 Ant_Thonyons That which that irks me when learning math

As a student who loves math, and who does quite a few questions daily, these are the 3 things that irk me the most when learning it: - a) When I have done a specific type of question and practiced on similar ones for good measure, so much so that the concept has bode strongly in my mind, alas, it becomes hazy just a few months later. It is not like I have forgotten it completely, but there’s the lag in fluency and speed. I wonder when will I reach the point where it becomes second nature for me? (sigh) Much like simple arithmetic questions, where almost no thinking is needed. b) When I can’t figure out solutions even though I actually “know” the answer. I’ll give you an instance: I was stuck halfway through a question on absolute value and couldn’t find an answer for the involving function. After much trying, I was still perplexed and decided to throw in the towel and check the solution, only to discover that it was something that I was just blindsided at that time, because I clearly understood not just the solution but every step of the way to solve it. 2024.05.16 09:53 ArugulaOk921 Future of GP

Hello all,
Long post ahead. I'm asking a lot, so I know an answer to each question would be too much to ask for. However, it would be really helpful if anyone could answer any one of them.
I am someone considering making General Practice my career. I don't know any GPs on a personal level to ask any of my questions. So, for the past few months, I have been doing intensive reading about GP online. However, I have seen a lot of contradicting opinions. Therefore, I made this account so that I could clear my doubts instead of waiting for each and every post on Reddit to see if it answers my queries. I hope this is the right place to ask. If not, please feel free to redirect me.
1.What do you see as the future of GPs in the UK?
I recently read a post about removing PAs from GP practices. Also, how long do you think ARRS will exist? Will these become extinct in the near future? When the realization that these increases workload rather than decreasing it sets in, will the funding be cut and go back to how it was? Some posts about how the job market for locum and salaried jobs have saturated quickly, yet still unable to meet demand, have been seen online. Will the removal of ARRS change this? (Of course, if it's possible).
2.The NHSE plans to increase GP training places by 6,000 in 2031, which is nearly a 2,000 increase. Will such a move make it capable of solving the GP shortage in the UK? A lot of discussions about grueling long hours, like 10-12 hour days for GPs, are often mentioned. Can an increase in GP training places, which essentially increases the number of GPs, reduce this workload?
3.What is the reality about GP working hours for a salaried position? Of course, partners will work long hours, but what are the usual hours for a salaried GP? I saw an article stating that a 3-day part-time work week essentially amounts to 36 hours, even for a salaried position. Initially, I thought this to be an exceptional scenario, but the more I read, the more I realize this is a common scenario. Some even say that if a GP appears to work only three days, they may probably work on other days to catch up with pending referrals, paperwork, etc. Is this a bit of hyperbole, or is it a fact?
4.How will privatization affect primary care? Will it be essentially profit-driven, potentially making it more grueling for employees?
5.Most posts about GP will have a comment about "CCT and flee," with many mentions of Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. What about Ireland? Is there any specific reason Ireland is not mentioned frequently, especially when its proximity to the UK is closer than the other countries?

2024.05.16 09:50 Exciting_Sherbert32 I’m fed up

This year I entered algebra 2, 2 years behind many of my peers who took it during their freshman year, but I had a good track record in a geometry and algebra 1 so I was fairly confident. However I ran into an issue I don’t think I’ve ever had in my life.
For some reason I have quite literally become incapable of solving things. I often will multiply, add, or subtract incorrectly in ways that an elementary school student wouldn’t even mess up. I have maintained a b both semesters, but my teacher doesn’t grade entirely off of true answers and is therefore very lenient. For example I once received a b on a 2 question quiz that really should have been an f because I didn’t get the second one right. The problem at hand has manifested itself in the same way over and over again and is again on my mind as I try and practice before my final(it’s tomorrow).
I completely can grasp these concepts and ideas and can even teach them and lay out every single step meticulously, but often when I solve I cannot get to a right answer. For example today I attempted a question that went along the lines of “Write a polynomial in standard formgiven the zeros below. 7,3 + 1.3 - i”. I attempted this question for over 30 minutes with a confident attitude and being very meticulous with the steps I knew and making sure my multiplication was perfect. I attempted it with three different approaches but the same method and got radically different answers each time.
As the title suggests, I’m fed up with this ridiculous issue and knowing what I do about intelligence, brain plasticity, learning, and my other behaviors, I don’t think there is anything I can do. I, not going to give up though and I recognize that some issues are best resolved when we get a fresh set of eyes or distance ourselves. What do you guys recommend if there is hope for me at all? I don’t want to stay like this, but I feel hopeless and I need real solutions that actually make sense to someone with a brain stem.

2024.05.16 09:27 Icy-Attention5367 Nexplanon - bleeding for 1.5yrs consistently

Hey there— I know what you’re thinking, why do I still have it in? Lol
Basically, despite taking my adderall as prescribed everyday for YEARS, for some reason I could never remember to take my birth control pills constantly everyday… which was scary for me as someone who is somewhat sexually active and I never wanted to put myself or my FWB at risk for pregnancy. I’ve heard terrible side effects about the shot like rapid weight gain, all over acne, etc. and the thought of an IUD freaks me out… I won’t try to explain it too much, if it’s sort of a sensory or just psychological thing, but I can’t consider it.
So, that led me to nexplanon after hearing mostly good things about it from my friends and family who have it. Some warned me about a couple months of bleeding and I accepted that, but never expected this. I got the implant early December of 2022, and have bled everyday since— so right at 1.5yrs/18mo. Every now and then I get a day or two of relief where it’s so light it’s border line spotting, but for the most part it’s heavy.
I’ve brought it up during my normal every 3 month checkups (who btw didn’t insert it, I had to find someone diff for that bc my practice didn’t do them) and none of my PCPs (practice has gone thru like 3 in the last year) have seemed concerned. I mostly get answers like, “well that’s a long time but it’s different for everyone”. I mean, I know it is diff for everyone but… damn… I’ve not heard of ANYONE bleeding consistently for that long on it.
At the end of the day, I’d rather have it in and be inconvenienced by the bleeding since the heaviness is varying at least and not be pregnant, than take it out and be forgetful with the pill. However, if these symptoms are an actual cause for real concern and it’s fucking my body up in an unknown way— then I’d bite the bullet and take it out.
Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, did ANY doctor tell you that it wasn’t normal, explain risks of bleeding that long, or insist on taking it out? If there is some critical info I’m missing that my doctors don’t know or are too lazy to look up, then I’d love to know about your experience if it is similar and can offer some perspective. TIA! 🫶🏼

I (18f) am a senior in high school. Because of covid I lost every friend I had from previous school years (like most people), I ended up doing online school the entirety of my freshman year. Sophomore year I had covid the first 3 weeks of school, so I was late to the friend making game. I ended up eventually making friends with this one kid in one of my class. Or friendship for sophomore year mainly consisted of us working on school assignments together, and eating lunch together. Junior year we had more of the same classes, around 3, one of which is band. We both play the same instrument and while I sucked at it because I started later than most and because of covid, he was no doubtedly the best at our school. I worked really hard into becoming a better player (remember this for later). Since we had more classes we ended up taking more. Whenever I said something that I didn't like I was told I was being sensitive. Whenever I said something regarding school he acted like I'm wrong. He's been a strait A student since the 6th grade, while I, although very good at school and very good grades, have not had a strait As since middle school, mostly due to go through trauma that severely impacted me. He started dating someone about half way though the year.
Senior year starts, I am not as "sensitive" as before, mostly because I just stopped showing that I cared for the most part. Me and him have 5 classes together. And this is where the problem starts.
I had heard a rumor where he tried to sexualy assault his girlfriend at the time (they broke up). I was livid, not at him, once I found out I called him, told him what I heard and that if she dared spread that rumor I would start a fight because that's not something to joke about. He acted calm and just said what he always said "the people who would believe that just aren't real friends, and it's not my problem". He says this is you say any criticism about him. I was so angry at her, until...
One of my friends took me aside and told me what they had heard. They heard that it did happen, and that he (the person who had the rumor about him) had talked about fingering her before. They told me that he had talked shit about me to his (ex)girlfriend, saying that he hated me. Which hurt a lot. I ended up asking her if he did, and because we had never really been on bad terms she said that all he ever really said about me was that I was bad at playing my instrument, but I know she was keeping things from me. Because he is the type of person to do that. From this moment I spotted letting him get away with everything.
Fast forward a couple months, I slowly stopped letting people just get what they want no matter what I want. In my music class my teacher gave us a stack of music to choose from, I had the stack in my hand and someone took it out of my hand and I chose last. Which made me upset but I didn't fight it. The next time we got to choose music I was looking though the stack and I said I would play vibraphone, then looked and it played 3 times and then said I would also play xylophone, which the friend that took me aside was not happy with, (probably should have named them, from this point onward the original guy a x, the friend that pulled me aside is y). Me and y ended up arguing and he ended up with the xylophone and bell part (which both played way more then the 3 notes I got to play). I wasn't happy and I was showing it, after class y started coming at me saying I was being ridiculous and that it was just music and was just talking down to me like I was stupid. I ended up yelling "I am done with the converstation" only after multiple minutes of being talked down to and talked over. People when over to him and asked him what he did which he did not like. A couple days later y text me saying he hated bad blood but it was clear pretty early on he didn't want to work though things he wanted to prove me wrong and say that I was being sensitive and dramatic (which I have been called multiple time since this insident), after this conversation this topic was dropped.
A couple weeks later a different friend (z) gave me a milk carton and called me a very derogatory term that I did not like, and because no one ever takes me seriously I said "I fucking dare you to say that again" which got the work out that I was being serious to most people at lunch, except x who just laugh and then when he looked at me asked "Wait really?", the next Day it was brought up and someone said that should apologize and he did, he then goes to get x and tells x, then x comes out of nowhere, starts talking down to me saying that z doesn't have to apologize and ignoring everyone else who is saying that if you hurt your friends feelings you should apologize. He starts digging into me specifically and I didn't even make him apologize. After several minutes I get so angry I throw my empty milk container at him, and then go to class. (Yes immature I know, but I throw things like pickles at people who are Annoying me, it's funny). After school I final tell him what I'm feeling, granted it though text because of my anxiety. I tell him that he was the asshole, that z dosnt need him fighting his battle, especially if there is no battle to be fought, I reiterated that if you hurt someone feelings, whether or not you think it's ridiculous you should apologize, I told him whether or not he thinks I'm being dramatic (which I have heard them muttering under there breaths) that i have a right to be dramatic. I told him he going to regret putting people on pedestals that don't deserve it. I told him I was tired of feeling like a last choice, and that be makes me feel like garbage. His response to this was "good for you". Which hurt because I thought he would actually take my feelings seriously. The next day I bring it up to y to see what he heard, (because x likes to gossip and spread things more than a girl when it comes to things I say) and he said that he heard that I freaked out after being called the derogatory term, and made z apologize. When trying to tell y my side of the story he said I was being ridiculous, that I wasn't going to make friends in my future if I got offended by being called that term. At some point he asked me who I expected him to believe, x and z or me, and whenever I said ask anyone else who was there his reasons was "of course there gonna take your side". He ends up getting angry that I'm getting upset by what he's saying and says that z hasn't been sitting with the group at lunch because of me, and that z dosnt even like me anymore and dosnt want to be friends. Which made me cry, I ended up walking away after that and cried so hard it gave me a migraine.
Since this event I spotted sitting with them at lunch and if I do sit with them I sit away from x y and z. I don't text them anymore, I block them on Instagram (which I only check once every blue moon). Z found out about this, and confronted me, I said I just needed a little bit of space and done extra privacy and his response was "well I guess I'll just never talk too you again" and then proceed to not say a word to me for a week. During this time x and y have been rolling there eyes and snickering at me.
For the last few weeks I have been getting compliments on how much I have improved on my instrument, like where my band director has yelled out in class telling me good job. It has made me really happy that they see me improving and I really needed someone not think I'm incompetent. Since this has started x has been stand off ish, been arguing with me more. Like I say I'm sad and he says "just don't be sad" or I say i have trouble running the mile because I have server asthma he say "just don't have asthma" and when I say that's not how it works he says I'm closed minded. He said that he has had trama and he's fine, and he doesn't understand that not everyone's perfect. He stared rolling his eyes more and stuff like that.
In my math class for the last unit we are put in group and then we will teach the class a part of the lesson, my group was the first to go up and we go up and x and one of his friends are laughing the whole time. I get in my head about it and loose all my confidence, and as I'm showing how to solve a problem I get my answer and say to the class "I'm sorry if this is wrong but this is what I got" I felt really embarrassed and I hear him say that's not what he got, and then they start laughing. Again he is a start A student and doesn't try. After a minute or two my teacher come up to me and tells me I'm right Which made me feel a little bit better. After me partner was done with her problem I go back up to show one more and I point out that the problem I wasn't sure on, that what I had gotten as an answer was correct.
Last incenident (sorry this is so long) Me x and y are in a group and we preform piece in out instruments (we all play the same) we have a couple events coming up, one of which we were practicing for and x was moving his drum up and down so I started to copy what I saw. My drum sits higher and most of x's body was blocked so I copied what I saw. When they see he they said I look ridiculous, and telling me I'm doing it wrong and I say I'm copying what I'm seeing, and this goes back and forth and y said "yup your right and everyone else is wrong", all I'm trying to do is defend myself that what I see may be something different then what he's doing. Another event is coming up where we preform this one song we spend 2 to 3 months on at out schools talent show, there are 6 of us in the group, 3 of us want to do it, one of us has the SAT and dosnet know when the SAT starts to he doesn't know yet but x and y have been complaining about it saying they don't want to do it because they think that No one will show up and that it will be lame. Auditions are tomorrow and they both say they are bust, granted y has a valid excuse, x hasn't said an excuse just said that he was busy even though he hadn't mention it in previous conversations about this subject and only said it at the last minute which made me said, that they aren't getting out of the talent show and that they can't always get what they want.
So AITA

Admission in NEET PG is a nationwide entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as MD/MS/Diploma courses in India. The exam evaluates a candidate's proficiency in clinical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of medical concepts.

Key Tips and Strategies for NEET PG Preparation:

  1. Master the Syllabus: Begin by thoroughly understanding the NEET PG syllabus, which comprises subjects covered during the MBBS curriculum. Focus on high-yield topics and allocate time accordingly.
  2. Create a Study Schedule: Develop a structured study plan that accommodates all subjects and allows for regular revisions. Allocate more time to challenging topics while ensuring a balanced approach across all subjects.
  3. Utilize Quality Resources: Invest in reputable study materials, textbooks, and online resources curated specifically for NEET PG preparation. Reference books such as "Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine" and "Robbins and Cotran Pathologic Basis of Disease" can be immensely helpful.
  4. Practice Regularly: Consistent practice is vital for success in NEET PG. Solve previous years' question papers and undertake mock tests to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, time management, and question difficulty levels.
  5. Focus on Weak Areas: Identify your weaknesses through self-assessment tests and dedicate extra time to strengthen those areas. Seek guidance from mentors or tutors if needed.
  6. Stay Updated with Current Affairs: Keep abreast of recent advancements in the medical field, healthcare policies, and medical research. This knowledge is often tested in the exam's general awareness section.

Strategic Subject Sequencing: Arrange your study sessions strategically, tackling challenging subjects during peak concentration periods and interspersing lighter topics for balance.
Trick Point: The Power of Visualization: Visualize success and envision yourself confidently tackling NEET PG questions during your study sessions. Positive visualization enhances motivation and boosts self-confidence.
Practice Makes Perfect
Mock Test Marathon: Engage in regular mock tests and previous years' question paper solving sessions to simulate exam conditions and improve time management skills.
Selective Revision: Identify weak areas through mock test analysis and dedicate extra time for targeted revision. Prioritize high-yield topics while ensuring holistic coverage of the syllabus.

2024.05.16 08:58 artofPreparation "Therefore, the one receiving such blood shall be receiving not just a simple bodily fluid, but shall be receiving the patterns of the very being of the entity who served as donor, and shall, therefore, be creating a tie between the two entities" : Latwii

C Yes. In our healing practices, especially in the area known as surgery, there is a—they use, they replenish a person’s blood with that of others, and over the years I’ve been giving blood for such purposes, but of late I’ve seen material from various groups which refuse, even at the point of ceasing existence, to accept blood from another due to a passage from somewhere in the Bible instructing then not to partake of blood. Is there any harmful effect to the acceptance of blood from another? I see it as merely a giving of life from one to another. I can’t see any harm in the practice.
I am Latwii, and am aware of your question, my brother. In response, may we say this is not a simple matter, for indeed one who is approaching the limits of what you know as life and does, therefore, require what is called the transfusion of blood, such a practice might be deemed quite helpful, for indeed it is one means of prolonging the incarnation and might be the only means for many upon your planet, for their knowledge does not yet include other means.
In such cases it cannot be said to be other than helpful if each party does wish to aid in the prolonging of life which grows short. On the other hand, there are situations which mitigate against the transferring of that known as blood from one entity to another if the entities are not involved in what you call the …
[Side one of tape ends.]
(Jim channeling)
I am Latwii, and am once again with this instrument. As we were saying, there are instances which are not favorable to such a transfer of this vital fluid from one entity to another, for there are various, shall we say, patterns or parts of an entity’s pattern of being of the bodily complex which are transferred in this process that may be detrimental to another.
We speak of areas now which are little known to your peoples, and are, therefore, most likely to be somewhat confusing, but we shall continue. Each entity does through the power of mind before incarnation create the pattern of the physical vehicle which it shall inhabit. This vehicle, in each cell of its substance, does contain the complete blueprint of the entity, much as a hologram. This is true also of the fluid known as blood. The state of being of health, shall we say, to use somewhat of a misnomer, is clearly reflected in the blood and each cell of that fluid. The transfer of such vital fluid to one entity from another does then transfer the patterns of being or of health from one entity to another, these patterns having a great complexity of interrelationship from the experience of the entity who has provided the blood for transfusion.
Therefore, the one receiving such blood shall be receiving not just a simple bodily fluid, but shall be receiving the patterns of the very being of the entity who served as donor, and shall, therefore, be creating a tie between the two entities in which some of which you know of as karma, shall be shared. This appears quite insignificant when the entity is facing what you call the life and death situation, but does grow in significance as the entity does continue its incarnation and as the entity which served as donor does also continue its incarnation. It is then left to what might be called higher levels of the being of both entities to complete the balancing of the karmic patterns which have been set in motion by this transfer.
C In the case where one receives, say, a pint of blood, which is the usual unit, is the amount of the being of the donor that is received by the individual a sufficient enough amount to actually interfere with the being of the person receiving?
I am Latwii. My brother, we feel that you have correctly stated the situation. The amount is significant in that it serves as what you might call a ratio, a blending the beingness of the sources of blood, both of the donor and the one receiving the donation.
C Yes. In our bodily systems, cells are constantly being used up and replaced. After a period of time would that amount of beingness be slowly removed from the blood of the one receiving?
I am Latwii, and am aware of your question, my brother. We may say in this case, in general, that this is not correct, for the reproduction of the blood fluid is by the existing ratio of blood, and this existing ratio does then reproduce itself much as what you have called the cloning mechanism does reproduce an exact duplicate of itself. The dilution, shall we say, of the donor’s karmic patterns may occur in another manner, this being the balancing of the patterns of behavior of the one which has received the donation, and also of the one which has served as donor.
Carla Before we leave this sanguine subject, I’d like to check a couple of hunches. Is it true that the link between patterns of the entities works precisely both ways?
I am Latwii. Yes, my sister, we do recognize this to be true in our understanding of such matters.
May we answer you further?
Carla Yes. Hunch number two. Is this link the time/space portion of this very central fluid which is called blood, that is magical in nature, and is this why some of the more primitive of our tribes peoples have used blood to become blood brothers and things like this, why even as children we do things like that? Does this have a magical potential in the time/space portion of its reality?
I am Latwii, and again we find agreement with your statement, that the portion known as the time/space portion or metaphysical portion of the entity is that which is affected in what you have described as a magical nature.
C Yes, while we’re on the subject. If the pattern of beingness in each self … what of the situation as in our, in the drinking, in the partaking of blood orally as opposed to taking it into the veins directly, if ingesting the cells of another being, whether flesh or blood, do you still pick up the beingness?
I am Latwii, and am aware of your question, my brother. Again, we find that the general response can be somewhat misleading, for such an action as you have described would have far different results with different types of entities. Those most likely to accomplish such an action would be those who have begun the practice of what you might call the black magical arts and such an adept then would gain power, the power of the one whose vital fluid it consumed. An entity who had no training in these arts and rituals would simply gain those karmic ties in the time/space or metaphysical portion of your existence.
C I was just curious because in our legends of creatures such as vampires, they’re always able to remove the being and leave just a shell, more or less, though animated, no longer expressing that which it was, and I was just curious as to the source of that idea, whether there was some truth behind it.
I am Latwii, and am aware of a general query. We may respond by saying that your legends in this regard have distorted greatly the foundation of facts in such situations, but have reflected some of that which is more nearly true. The magical nature of the fluid you call blood has been reflected in such stories and legends, for indeed the entity whose blood has been removed in some degree is only a shell of the former self, the greater portion having passed to the entity consuming the blood, the greater portion of power also passing with that consuming.

2024.05.16 08:21 Unfaltering_Athena Physical heart ache and anxiety

Since the past 10 days I have had consistent interruptions during my practice. Irrespective of the time. I get interrupted with unexpected visitors, fluctuations in the electricity, loud noises, my cats jumping on me or like right now, the laptop I was listening on, abruptly switched off. It's always on AC power and no, no updates or installations were pending. It was random and abrupt.
The bigger issue is that each time I am interrupted, I am violently jolted out of focus; I am immediately filled with intense fear and anxiety. My whole body vibrates as a concentrated wave of fear and anxiety goes up and down inside my body. That's the best way I can think of describing it right now. My heart starts to ache and the pain spreads to the entirety of the chest and the left arm. It dissipates very slowly over the course of the entire day.
I have been feeling other forms of physical distress too, and for the very first time in my life, I got my period 10 days early!
I'm curious if anyone has come across any of these issues and can help answer why this is happening and how to make it stop.
All of these changes are very distressing and I am starting to feel discouraged (afraid) from going further in the tapes.

Benjamin smiled, watching the girls skip ahead of him. Today was a testing day of sorts for him. Unwilling to release firearms into this world haphazardly, yet unwilling to go without them as a backup; he had pulled from one of his sister’s favorite video games. He had “melted down” his bowie knife, repurposing the metal to be used in his latest creation. The final product rode on his hip like a short sword, but Ben was satisfied in the design when the vast majority of the people he passed ignored it as just another adventurer’s blade. Benjamin hoped, that with the existence of Majik, that he would be able to pass off any… peculiarities... as the realm of the supernatural.

The three of them arrived at the tailor’s establishment, and the girls were met with a customary indifference that seemed to present itself when a slave’s “master” was present. The moment Benjamin entered, the seamstress ceased to pay attention to the girls, and instead addressed him directly, “Ah, The Forgemaster’s Protégé. What can I do for you this day.” She said cooly, bowing slightly in welcome. “I’m here commission some clothing for these two, a reward for good service.” Benjamin began. It was technically true; the success of the forge had afforded him much more coin than a mere apprentice could have made. Qort had taken him on as a true partner, and Benjamin earned enough to comfortably afford to cloth his “slaves” in whatever he chose.

Some stigma’s remained however, and the seamstress seemed to glare sideways at the girls as they perused the fabrics adorning the walls. “Is that wise? A slave could lose her place with such gifts.” she asked, her polite tone barely hiding her disapproval. Benjamin sighed internally, ‘oh for fucks sake’ he groaned in his own mind before putting on facad, “I find that proper reward, afforded on the right servant can result in” he paused, projecting a smug expression and blatantly looking the girls up and down. “a profound dedication to their duties” he finished with a satisfied smile as the seamstress covered her mouth with a hand to hide a smile of her own. The gambit worked, and the Seamstress was obviously satisfied that the “Aereesen slave whores” were being properly “used”. “Ah, I understand. What did you have in mind for them.” She practically moaned back at Benjamin. ‘This hag needs a good pounding….’ Benjamin’s inner monologue threatened to crack his facade, “That’s the fun part, my good lady. It’s their choice. The surprise is half the excitement.” He chuckled.

The seamstress openly smiled at him this time before nodding and stepping over to the two girls. Benjamin breathed a sigh of relief as she seemed to treat them at least marginally more warmly. The old racist bag didn’t need to know that Benjamin was secretly building a small nest egg for his girls, or that his sending them out to do errands for him was how he was teaching them about money, value, and the application of Mathematics. She also didn’t need to know that the full Cutlery set that she had purchased last week had been made by Vi’s own hand as her first full solo commission set. Benjamin had stamped his “mark” on them, because slaves were not allowed to own anything, including their own work; but Vi had begun with raw steel and finished with one of the finest cooking knife sets he had seen in this world or his.

Benjamin settled onto a bench outside, using the excuse of wanting to enjoy the morning air to afford his girls some privacy. Now that Viola and Valtrya were eating a healthy diet, and the right calorie amount; they had blossomed into absolute bombshells. Their hair had recovered, and both sported long flowing locks that boasted a silky satin black color and texture that betrayed hints of deep royal purple. The color reminded Benjamin of one of those expensive custom car paints that changed color depending on the lighting.

Their skin recovered almost as quickly as their hair. The sickly, scabbed look was quickly replaced with the same satin quality as their hair to the touch, but with a light grey coloring that almost seemed to tease the edge of hinting at a greyish purple. A dense pattern of Small freckles of the same dark, almost royal, purple as the highlights in their hair frolicked on both girl’s cheeks, and down the sides of their necks. Because of their early lack of understanding on modestly, Ben knew that those freckles traveled much further. The sad truth was that Benjamin understood fully why Aereesen’s were the prize of slavers and brothels, and he silently prayed that he could give them enough self-worth and skill to have a better life than that, once he got them out of the Principality.

A door’s soft creaking broke Benjamin from his thoughts as the two sisters stepped out smiling, “Get everything you need?” he asked standing as the three of them departed the establishment. Val nodded vigorously, and Vi smiled as she spoke, “I think so, but I had to practically beg the woman to stop showing us lingerie… what did you tell her?” Benjamin felt his cheeks heat as he responded, “What I had to. The old hag doesn’t get enough at home. It’s not my fault that your ‘enthusiasm’ is in the forge and your studies, not between the sheets. I didn’t lie to her, I just let her draw her own conclusions, sorry.”

Vi’s eyes twinkled for a second, “Oh,” She smirked, “Thaaat’s why she broke out the silk. Some of her options were..” She blatantly bit her lip at Benjamin. “You didn’t…” He asked in shock, and Vi lifted up on her tippy toes to brush her lips against his ear, “Not telling” she purred, setting Bens senses on fire. She backed up a step, openly smirking at his beet red face. “But your expression is adorable… My Lord” She stated the last two words with a deep sultry tone, knowing that Ben couldn’t scold her in public before taking his hand, “May we visit the bazar next? Val saw some jewelry she wanted to look at.” Benjamin gave her a pointed look, that turned into a smile as she beamed at him, “Ok, sounds good. I need to pick up some food for the week.”

It was later that afternoon when the three of them left the bazar. They found Jukha waiting on the bench in front of their home. “Jukha! How are you!” Benjamin called, clasping the Orc’s hand firmly as the girls rushed inside to put up their purchases. Jukha reciprocated, if somewhat stiffly, to the strange to him gesture. “Benjamin, it is good to see you well.” His tone stopped Ben in his tracks, “What is it. Is your wife, ok?”
Jukha shook his head, “Vilora is well, but I have been tasked with finding you.” He said carefully, “The slaver, the one you dueled for those two,” he nodded to Vi and Val as they stepped back out of the building, “The Heir of The Romoregin house is here. He has lodged an official demand for satisfaction, and he brought a champion.”

Benjamin stiffened, “Another duel? You said an ‘official demand’… what happens if I refuse.” Jukha winced at Ben’s tone, “It is an archaic practice of my people, rarely remembered, and even more rarely demanded. You cannot deny a satisfaction claim, but should you prevail, no further claims can be made upon your person. I am sorry Benjamin, but if you flee or refuse, your life is forfeit; and your property goes to the claimant.” Jukha looked pointedly at Viola and Valtrya. “The young puke has put me in danger as well, if I do not deliver you and them to the duel, I can be detained. If they torture me….” Benjamin’s eyes widened before hardening in understanding. “Jukha…” He turned to find Viola standing next to him, with his musket in one arm and his ammunition bag in the other, and sighed, “Fuck”. He loaded his musket with a single roundball cartridge this time, unwilling to fire buck and ball in the town streets. He pealed the ball out of the paper wading after pouring the poweder, reaching into his haversack to retrieve a small round patch made of pillow ticking. Jukha looked on in mild fascination as Benjamin spit on the cloth patch before wrapping the ball in it and ramming the whole thing down the barrel. It wasn’t much, but it reduce windage, ensuring at least reasonable enough accuracy from the smoothbore to keep from hitting innocent bystanders. It would also virtually eliminate blow-by, upping the chamber pressure and giving him a little more velocity. “I’m ready.”

The four of them entered the small city square to be met with Qort and three Org guards. These soldiers wore different insignia that Benjamin had been taught were the mark of the capital. “Beenjaymen Shayfe” one of them butchered his name, “I am.” Ben nodded firmly, the other guard nodded, “And your two slaves, good. Has Jukha informed you of the proceedings.” Benjamin scowled, “A legalized way to attempt a revenge killing? Yea, I’ve been told.” Ben didn’t bother to hide his vitriol, “So I have to kill a motherfucker for defending myself from his father?”

“Not quite. The Heir has brought a champion. The rules are simple, all forms of combat are allowed” The first guard began as the second one began chaining the wrists of Viola and Valtrya. Benjamin began to move before thinking, only to be held back by Jukha, “Peace albino. They must do this. Fighting them will cause a forfeit.” Benjamin looked at the terrified faces of the two girls. He forced himself to calm down outwardly, but Benjamin could feel the rage building. He had worked so hard to save those two, to get them out.. now some snot nosed brat was going to try to kill him because his father didn’t know when to fuck off. Benjamin stepped out from around the guards. The “heir” was a young Durr. Ben had no frame of reference for age, but the Heir was substantially shorter, and his facial tentacles were almost mere buds. Beside him stood a crimson colossus, the same species as the Hunter he had shot saving Jukha. He was taller than that female, and was wearing plate armor, gilded in silver. He hefted a great sword of some kind and smiled openly at Benjamin. It was not a pleasant expression. “Ah, so You’re the puke I’ll be cleaning from my blade. I am Krastorin. Come here, pale one, I’ll make it quick.”

Benjamin looked him over, subtly shifting into a shooting stance but keeping his musket looking like he was resting the butt of a spear on the ground. “You look accomplished, what makes you do the bidding of the boy.” He asked, blatant scorn on his tone. The Young Durr flinched, his small tentacle buds writhing violently. “H’Dare Yee!” he bellowed, voice cracking with the strain of fury, “Aye’ll ‘ave Yee Head on Me’Wall!!”
Benjamin ignored him, focusing on the Hellirine. The man looked back at the boy with a raised eyebrow, “The young puke promised me one of those.” He pointed at Vi and Val, who had reverted to their former trembling submissive postures that Ben had met them in. “It appears that they are as well kept as claimed. I look forward to sampling them.” He leered. Benjamin looked over at the Young Durr and found his face a mixture of relief and anger. ‘Ah, lied about daddy’s slaves.’ He turned to the soldier standing next to him, “Is the duel on?” he growled.

“Combatants! Begin!” was the Soldiers response, and the crimson mercenary lifted his sword from his shoulders advancing forward with a long confident stride, “at last, let’s get this over wi..” a clap of thunder echo’d through the Feral wood, and most of the crowd cried out in surprise as Benjamin disappeared, seemingly behind a bubble of fire, and brimstone. The single round ball ignored the mercenary’s plate armor. Punching straight through as the soft lead mushroomed out into a ragged disk that measured almost an inch and a half. The mangled projectile, still travelling at almost half the speed of sound, eviscerated the chest cavity of the Mercenary before blowing a one foot wide hole out of the crimson man’s back. The exit wound missed Krastorin’s spine by an inch, but it didn’t matter. The projectile embedded itself into a post, thankfully missing any bystanders by mere inches in some cases. The Young Durr, who was standing just behind and to the side of his champion, was screaming as he pawed at the bits of pale yellow blood, bones, and fragments of internal organs now covering him from head to toe.

Benjamin handed the smoking musket to Jukha, drawing his short sword and walking over to a sputtering, choking, and coughing Krastorin. The Hellirine lay face down on the ground, having fallen that way from the momentum of his initial advance. The back of Benjamins mind was sickly amused as he remembered the old Hollywood trope of bullets throwing people backward, and a pinch of regret sparked in his soul as his opponent death rattled. He stepped up to the Heir, resting the blade against his neck, “Are we done here. Be a better man than your father and learn when to save your own life.” The Young Durr froze, staring up at him in abject terror for several moments as a puddle formed at his feet. Benjamin opened his mouth to speak again when the boy simply passed out, falling into the puddle of his own mess as his mind refused to stay conscious.

Benjamin turned to walk back towards Jukha and the girls. “Unchain them.” Benjamin’s tone could have frozen a raging forge’s inferno. To his surprise, two of the soldiers drew their weapons on him, “You need to come with us. All Touched must be registered with...” Benjamin pointed his short sword at the one talking… and pulled the trigger. The percussion revolver built into the hilt of the short sword was zero’d using a notch Benjamin cut into the crossguard, and the tip of the curved blade as a crude set of open sights. The barrel of the revolver lay along one side of the blade, and was rifled. The speaking soldier orc’s took the smaller pistol round through the forehead, exploding the back of his skull in a cone of dark green and grey mist. The exit wound showered his companion in bits of bone and brains. Benjamin’s thumb found the hammer, and four satisfying clicks echo’d in the stunned silence, “HEAR ME!” He growled, “I, am touched by the Gods. I posses the power to end any life I choose using the power of Hell itself!” ‘if I have to show them a gun, might as well throw them off the trail’ “The violence of the raging volcano obeys my very fingertips.” His revolvesword bucked a second time as another soldier orc made a move to rush him. The smaller pistol round still punched through the orcs armor and out the back, but only left him screaming on the ground. Benjamin re-cocked, and leveled his weapon at the orc holding the chains to Val and Vi. “Now, release them.” This last remaining Orc did as asked, before gathering up his screaming companion as the girls rushed to Benjamin, he pulled them close, whispering, “I’m sorry we wont be able to pick up your dresses.”

The three of them packed up that night. Qort had understood, knowing all too well what the Principality would do to acquire a Touched of Benjamins ability. “Stay safe my friend. I pray our paths cross again.” Jukha snuck them out of the village that night, using his wagon to get them to his home. They stayed a week, laying low while they planned their next move. The girls spent their time learning recipes from Jukha’s wife, and ben took the time to unwind a bit. Jukha and He went on a hunt, and Benjamin was given a run down on the flora and fauna of the Feral wood. The two of them brought back a pair of Stags, and the three women cooked them a feast.

“Dinner’s ready!!” called Viola, setting the last of the sides on the table as the dutch oven roasted meat was brought off of the stove top. It was a simple yet elegant meal. Stag, potatoes, some kind of Kale style vegetable that Benjamin had never seen before. Soon enough, everyone at the table was leaning back, as full as they could make themselves. “So, pinkskin,” Jukha asked, “Where do you plan on going. I wouldn’t mind you staying with me. I could use another hunter, but I suspect that they would notice the extra product I brought to the village.”

Benjamin Hummed, “The Maridian Combine. Qort told me that they banned slavery over a century ago, the girls have learned so much already. It would be easy to find jobs for them.” Vi and Val drooped slightly but hid it well. Jukha noticed it but said nothing. “A good choice, their boarders are well guarded, you would need to free them before you cross, or end up in a dungeon yourself.”

“Good point, I can write up a simple writ of freedom. Something I can sign and give to them.” Benjamin nodded, “I can get started on that to…” he paused as a hand fell on his. He looked to see Viola staring at him, fighting back tears, “Hey, what’s wrong. You will be free…” Jukha nodded slowly and stood. “love,” he said to Vilora, “I need some help with the livestock” The Farie met his eyes in unspoken understanding, fluttering out the front door with Jukha.

“Vi, what’s wrong.” Benjamin asked gently.

“No… go… Val… stay…” Both of them turned to Valtrya in shock. She was trembling, “I wont..leave.”

“You speak?” Benjamin looked in shock, but Viola spoke next, “Benjamin, we don’t want to leave. We want to stay, with you. I…” She paused. Ben sighed, “I want you to stay too.” He said, finally admitting it to himself, “But I can’t own you. It’s killing me that you are my property.” He reached up and wiped a tear from Vi’s eyes, “You are so much more than property. I feel evil, every day that I wake up knowing that I could do anything I wanted to you, or worse, die and have someone else hurt you for the fun of it.” Benjamin bowed his head. Viola reached out, lifting his chin to look into his eyes, “Then come with us.” She whispered as Val stood up and stepped around the table, “yes.. You, come.” She wrapped herself around Ben from the side leaning in until she was resting her head against his shoulder, “I’m… staying.. with you.” she said softly. Viola nodded, “Benjamin, how old do you think we are.”

Ben looked at her in confusion, “I have no idea, I’ve always assumed you were teenagers. 13-14 years old for Val, maybe 16 for you, but that was when you were skin and bones.” He admitted.

Viola’s eyes widened in understanding. “You did not want to bed us because you thought us children.” Benjamin nodded slowly, answering. “And forcing sex on a child is the worst kind of crime on my world”. Viola and Valtrya looked at each other, before Vi spoke. “Ben, my sister will turn one hundred and three in a fortnight. I just had my one hundred and fifteenth birthday last week.” She leaned in, pressing her lips to Bens as she kissed him passionately for a moment. “We are no children,” Viola paused as Valtrya leaned in, kissing Ben lightly on the neck, “You are not forcing us to do anything, but leave.” Viola whispered as she began to close in to a surprised Benjamin for another kiss.

The door to the cabin flew open violently, and the girls pulled back to a more modest distance. Jukha walked in, carrying a panting Vilora. “What happened.” Ben asked hurriedly, hoping he wasn’t blushing as hard as the heat on his cheeks suggested. Vilora waved a hand as Jukha set her down in her chair, “The Vin… My sisters… they reached out… They wish to meet…” The Farie gathered herself, “They also sent a warning. We must leave, tonight… hunters.”

2024.05.16 07:43 Total-Mastodon-6888 Top 10 Mistakes to Avoid in Your Visa Application

The prospect of embarking on a new adventure in a foreign country can be exhilarating. However, the visa application process
can often feel like navigating a complex maze, riddled with potential pitfalls. At Adric Immigration Consultants in Bangalore, we understand the importance of meticulous preparation when applying for a visa. Here, we unveil the top 10 mistakes to avoid, ensuring your application journey is smooth and successful.
1. Incompleteness and Inaccuracy: The Cardinal Sins
Missing Information: Leaving sections blank or failing to provide all the requested documentation is a recipe for application rejection. Always double-check the application form and ensure you have gathered all the necessary documents well in advance.
Inaccuracies and Inconsistencies: Typos, factual errors, or discrepancies between your application form and supporting documents can raise red flags for immigration officers. Proofread your application meticulously and ensure all details are consistent across all documents.
Unrealistic Travel Dates: Be realistic when specifying your intended travel dates. Delays in processing are common, so factor in a buffer period between your application submission and planned travel dates.
2. Applying for the Wrong Visa: Choosing the Right Path
Misunderstanding Visa Categories: Different visa categories cater to specific purposes, such as tourism, work, or studies. Thoroughly research the visa options offered by your target country and choose the one that aligns perfectly with your travel goals. Don’t hesitate to seek professional guidance if you’re unsure about the most suitable visa category.
Ignoring Eligibility Requirements: Each visa category comes with specific eligibility criteria. Failing to meet these requirements can lead to an immediate rejection. Carefully review the eligibility requirements for your chosen visa category and ensure you qualify before initiating the application process.
3. Failing to Disclose All Information: Honesty is the Best Policy
Misrepresenting Information: Tempting as it might be to omit certain information, complete honesty is crucial when applying for a visa. Fabricating facts or failing to disclose past travel history or criminal records can have severe consequences, including permanent visa ineligibility.
Undeclared Financial Resources: Proof of sufficient financial resources is often a mandatory requirement for many visa applications. Underestimating your expenses or failing to provide adequate financial documentation can raise concerns about your ability to support yourself during your stay.
4. Missing Documentation: Leaving Gaps in Your Story
Incomplete Documentation: Every visa application requires specific supporting documents. Missing documents can create delays or lead to rejection. Carefully review the required documents list and ensure you have everything in order before submitting your application.
Outdated Documents: Certain documents like medical certificates or police clearances have expiry dates. Ensure all your supporting documents are valid and current as per the application requirements.
Improper Translations and Authentication: If any of your documents are not in the official language of your target country, ensure they are translated by a certified translator and bear proper apostille seals or legalization if mandated.
5. Neglecting Application Fees: Don’t Forget the Formalities
Missing Fees: Visa applications often come with associated fees. Failing to pay the correct fee at the designated time can delay your application processing or lead to rejection. Research the applicable fees beforehand and ensure timely payment through the designated channels.
Forgetting Additional Costs: Beyond the official application fee, there might be additional costs associated with medical examinations, biometric data collection, or courier services. Factor in all potential costs when planning your visa application budget.
6. Failing to Meet Deadlines: Time is of the Essence
Missing Deadlines: Visa applications have specific filing deadlines. Late submissions can lead to complications, missed opportunities, or even application rejection. Plan ahead, gather your documents well in advance, and submit your application before the deadline.
Improper Scheduling (Interviews): For certain visa categories, a visa interview with a consular officer is mandatory. Treat this interview seriously, schedule it well in advance to avoid last-minute complications, and arrive promptly on the designated date.
7. Inadequate Travel Insurance Coverage: Be Prepared for the Unexpected
Insufficient Coverage: Travel insurance can be a visa requirement for some countries. Ensure your chosen travel insurance plan offers adequate coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and repatriation costs.
Neglecting Specific Requirements: Some countries might have specific travel insurance coverage requirements. Double-check if your chosen plan fulfills the minimum coverage mandated by the visa category.
8. Underestimating Processing Times: Patience is Key
Unrealistic Expectations: Visa processing times can vary significantly depending on the visa category, workload of the processing center, and individual circumstances. Research the average processing times for your chosen visa and be prepared for potential delays.
8. Underestimating Processing Times: Patience is Key (continued)
Frequent Inquiries: While it’s understandable to be eager about the status of your application, avoid bombarding immigration authorities with inquiries. Most processing centers offer online portals where you can track the progress of your application.
9. Failing to Prepare for the Interview: Opportunity Knocks Once
Lack of Preparation: If a visa interview is required for your application category, thorough preparation is key. Research common interview questions, anticipate potential inquiries related to your travel plans and purpose of visit, and practice your responses beforehand.
Unprofessional Demeanor: Dress appropriately, arrive on time, demonstrate confidence and respect during the interview. First impressions matter, and a professional demeanor can significantly improve your chances of approval.
Unclear Communication: Speak clearly and concisely, answer questions directly, and avoid providing vague or contradictory information. Effective communication can significantly enhance your interview experience.
10. Going it Alone: Seek Expert Guidance
Lack of Knowledge: Immigration laws are intricate and constantly evolving. Navigating the complexities of the visa application process alone can be overwhelming. Partnering with a reputable immigration consultant like Adric Immigration Consultants in Bangalore can provide invaluable support throughout your journey.

2024.05.16 07:24 Stunning-Cost-7631 If the truth can’t be questioned, is it the truth?

If you can never test or question something you believe to be the truth, how do you know it’s the truth?
I see recent posts of people attacking this subreddit. Making assumptions about the people on this subreddit. Mocking people’s mental health or saying it’s simply people being unsuccessful.
They think it’s a personal dislike of Neville, when I have no issue with Neville. I don’t agree with the existence of the law as he taught it, the coaches that exploit desperate people for financial gain no matter how unethical (despite me never paying one), the toxic communities , and etc. I have studied these teachings for years and studied DEEPLY. I applied them as well. I read every book, lecture , and listened to every audio of Neville. I am not someone new to this stuff that tried manifesting for a month then came to this conclusion. I have studied this stuff for years.
Neville Goddard said to test the law and if it doesn’t work discard it. That we shouldn’t blindly believe in something because he said or someone else said. So why is there an issue with people that say the law works but angry or triggered this subreddit exists?
Why are people expecting others to blindly believe in something for years with no results or inconsistent results and continue to practice it ? But, Never question it? When people collectively question and test the law and don’t say what you want then you get upset.
It’s just like when you go through deconstruction with a religion or belief system. The people still in the community say you didn’t pray enough, you didn’t have enough faith, you didn’t read or study the religious texts enough, they say you hate their higher power, and more. They turn to gaslighting and personal attacks instead of addressing contradictions and lack of evidence of what they claim to be true. Questioning and doubts are frowned upon because most are afraid of the answer is not what they want to hear! Ignorance is bliss.

2024.05.16 07:21 kami_kkk Professional Engineer Licensure for Fully remote employees

I am a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and am in the process of relocating to Arizona for family reasons. However, I intend to continue to work with my team based in Massachusetts, serving MA clients remotely.
I am also in the middle of mmigration process, and was asked to demonstrate that I will not need to obtain licensure in Arizona in order to practice and provide engineering services in Massachusetts. My company does not have office or providing engineering services in the state of Arizona.
I am still waiting for the MA board to respond but the Arizona licensing board refused to provide me an answer but directed me to read the rules and standards, which I couldn’t find anything applicable to my case.
I am wondering if anyone would know if such statement or explanation exists somewhere (any states?) so I don’t have to apply and maintain a license that I don’t need.
Thank you!!
