We just moved into a new rental. There’s a single spigot in front of the house, and none on the sides or backyard. I kind of need to have a hose option the spray the porch down (I have large dogs, and like the gets the dust/dirt/grass/ etc sprayed off). I could get extra long hoses and run them from the front, but it’s very far and just not convenient.
If there’s no other options I’ll just have to do that but wanted to know if there was some sort of option or contraption I haven’t heard of that I could set up in the back.

Pretty much title but kind of a rant too. I noticed with the recent pass, pugging ivory and akkan hm are even bigger chores than they were previously. Too much competition or maybe too little supports which make everyone extra picky? Is there any way i can improve my pug experience as a 154 roster lvl player with los18? Does hell title do anything? Most my 1580+ have multiple lvl 9 dmg gem and some have 1 lvl 10 dmg, 2% demon dmg, 1800 or close mainstat. Already got my sp from horizontal. I only join parties that are around my ilvl/strengh to make the raids more interesting competing for dmg (and also since you dont get much say in the matter anyways when gatekept in 199/200 lobbies). Whenever im bored enough to check who got in instead, i see worse gems, +/- 5 ilvl and as is the case 99.9% of the time, 250+ roster and los30 which is all these pugs care about since to them roster level = skill.
I mean i understand 150 ish roster with los18 is seen as 'high risk might jail' but i have already done all towers but powerpassed my other 9 characters with 3600 hours in the game and still treated like someone who installed yesterday. I didnt want to do story for roster lvl because the only reason i havent burnt out so far is by skipping most of the boring content besides maybe a few chaos dungeons per week. I have managed to clear theamine 1-3 weekly alive till the end with 14-16m dps 1611 no elixir los18 in g3 only due to my friend pulling the "can i bring friend" card (they are 200+ rlvl los30). Otherwise i end clearing theamine g3 in legit 14 mins but spending 30x more time in g0 if none of my friends happen to be online or there is no activity in lfg discords. Just end up alt f4ing and playing helldivers/stellar blade since pugging the higher content with majority veterans is too much of a chore when 99% of them gatekeep you purely due to roster lvl/cards. You really dont want to come back from a long day of lectures/classes + part time job to ur 2hr free time just to waste it on nothing. This is really affecting my enjoyment of the game because i have always really enjoyed the combat and hated everything else. I would still be only playing pvp and ignore pve if it was still alive cause it was too much fun and was equalized with no gatekeep. I would have los30 already if there was less rng or if i could trade 5 legendaries for an Los card that i actually need. I am actually 22 selector and much closer to klc30 than los30 which is just dumb.
To me this little info on profile seems like something to protect whales maybe, since if u had something like logs in-game or something like opgg from league you could just check how good they are instead of having to rely on something as worthless as roster lvl and cards. If you could see that this full lvl10 200+ roster 6% demon dmg los30 deals less than some roster 150 or that he keep dying on repeat in raids, then you wouldn't take him and that very good customer may just spend a lot less in the game. It just sucks that i am 100% confident in my class and skill, but it still doesnt matter since the game profile doesnt show actual performance in raids. The only fast lobbies in 1600+ are on my support. Im just curious for any advice/other peoples experience because i would prefer not to quit this game and continue playing casually. The sad part about all this is the best pve lobbies ive been in that dealt great dmg were the least gatekeepy and accepted me in 20-30 seconds, with a large amount of them usually having hell titles. The ones that my friends sometimes drags me into that are the type to gatekeep 5-6% demon dmg were below average and dealt less dmg with much more gear (40 set). Anyways, it sucks that the majority of pugs just are too insecure to let me in when they see that roster lvl on my profile despite everything else being good. Also creating own party doesnt work, ive been there already multiple times and no one wants to join you, let alone a support when they could join the 200+ rosters instead.

We need a new washing machine. Does anyone have one they really love?
I do not want an HE washer. We have one and it’s been awful from day one. It’s 13 years old and has been repaired by my husband a few times. He’s always found it more cost efficient to keep repairing it vs buy new one. I’ve basically just been using the bulk cycle the last couple of years because it’s only one that fills with more than a tablespoon of water. Well it finally bit the dust. Thank God and good riddance HE washer from hell.
I want one that actually works and gets clothes clean. I’d love an old school simple one that actually fills all the way up with whatever water level you choose, has an agitator (if top load) and will wash an extra large capacity. That’s it. Don’t need the bells and whistles and smart apps and all that. I’m 51 and miss the washers I grew up with.
I’ve heard Speed Queen is great but they all seem to have lower capacity, where the new fancy once’s seem to go into five and above.
Please share any thoughts advice or opinions. What to avoid or look into. Im open to ideas, just not HE.

The St. Paul City Council voted this week to support two zoning variances requested by the developer behind a proposed restaurant building within United Village, the development area around Allianz Field.
The single-story “Shops in the Green” building will be located west of Simpson Street, between Spruce Tree Avenue and Shields Avenue, north of a secondary restaurant building, both of which would open onto patios along the Great Lawn. Both zoning variances were previously denied by the city’s Board of Zoning Appeals.
The zoning code requires that 30% of the wall area along the ground floor on all new commercial buildings be covered in window or door openings, but Snelling-Midway Redevelopment LLC requested that requirement be lowered to 19.6% on the northern building’s northern façade along Spruce Tree Avenue.
The city code also requires a primary pedestrian entrance on street-facing facades such as Spruce Tree Avenue.
Mike Hahm, a consultant for the developer, noted that the building will already have two other entrances, making a third entrance redundant and difficult to monitor.

‘Unique circumstances’

Council Member Anika Bowie, who represents the neighborhood, said given the restaurant building’s general orientation toward the Great Lawn, as well as its sizable mural on the northern façade, “unique circumstances” made the added windows and entrance impractical.
“This plan is going to include a large scale art display, green space, and space for … small businesses,” Bowie said. “The architectural design within the Super Block is very comprehensive.”
Council President Mitra Jalali noted the extra 10% of door and window coverage would detract from the mural. The Union Park District Council had opposed the variance request pertaining to the window and door opening requirement, but supported the variance eliminating the primary pedestrian entrance on Spruce Tree Avenue.
The Board of Zoning Appeals had previously approved four other variance requests reducing the required door and window openings on the building’s southern and eastern façades, as well as on the southern restaurant building’s eastern façade.
The council voted 6-0 on Wednesday to support the developer’s appeals. Council Member Nelsie Yang is on maternity leave.

I’ve been streaming a couple months now from my decade old Mac and all of the extra demands on the system recently has caused it to decline fast. I had to cancel a stream today because of how badly it’s running these days so I need to get something new built quickly to avoid having to cancel too many more. I’ve never been super into PC gaming because things rarely run well (if at all) on Mac but I’d like something that’s powerful enough to change that! I'd like for the case to be either white or a light pastel color (blue, pink, purple, etc.) with tempered glass and RGB style lighting, bonus if the lighting can be changed but not necessary. Size I'm not sure since I dont know how large the parts will be, but big enough to hold everything with some room to spare to include some collectibles/figures inside the case to display.

Any other specific requests or requirements? Examples might include a specific minimum amount of storage, or a particular CPU socket for a future upgrade path, etc.

I (21F) and my fiance (23M) are getting married in a couple months and so far wedding planning has been going smoothly but stressful as expected. I come from a strict Catholic religious background and my parents are very involved in our wedding planning (they graciously offered to pay for our wedding, even though I said it wasn’t necessary and was willing to have a very small wedding). My parents insisted since I’m their first child getting married that it was very special and they would love nothing more than to provide us our special day. However, now things are getting weird. For some context, my parents kicked me out before my 19th birthday simply because I wanted to “do my own thing” (i was in school and working full time at this time) and didn’t want to be responsible for helping out with taking my little siblings to school, extra curriculars ect. (i have a very large family). That in itself is its own issue. Since getting kicked out I used any penny I had to buy myself a car and phone and figure out a place to live. Things with my parents are fine now, especially since I’m getting married and they love my fiance.
Yesterday my mom and dad put me and my fiance in a group chat saying they would like to meet with us for a brunch this weekend to discuss wedding plans. However I learned yesterday that my father called my fiance and basically told him they are very close to canceling the wedding and sending out “un invites” to everyone. My father said he doubts my finances ability to “be a hard worker” and most of all doubts him because my fiance and I have been struggling to go to church. I was raised in the Catholic religion and have been personally struggling trying to figure out what I believe . My parents are crossing major boundaries by doing this, and are trying to get way too involved with us in my opinion. I was beyond livid that my dad would doubt my finances loyalty and work ethic (my fiance works 80 hours a week on average in a demanding blue collar job). Anyways I am trying to keep the peace till the wedding so everything goes smoothly, but part of me wants to rip into my parents for how my dad spoke to my future husband. I don’t tolerate the disrespect my father displayed to him. My fiance is working overtime to save money for us and take care of me financially once we get married, so i won’t have to worry about bills or grocery money. I work two jobs to pay for my expenses at the moment, but my fiance wants to alleviate my stress once we’re married so my money I earn can be spent on more leisurely things for me and him both.
My dad has used this threatening tactic with me before. After high school he said he was more than happy to put me through cosmetology school since it was what I wanted to do with my life, but when he kicked me out he told me he would be no longer paying for my schooling. (he ended paying for it all but during this time I was basically homeless so this caused so much anxiety. ) I just don’t know if my dad is being serious about wanting to cancel our wedding or not.. I have made a huge mistake. Well this is a little of everyone’s fault (the bank, IT, me) but the buck stops with me.
Essentially, a fraudster was able to ACH a large sum of money out of our business account. Seems it was a perfect storm of poor internal controls and a sophisticated fraud.
I don’t think my boss will ever be able to trust me again. Do I quit? Do I work extra hard to earn that trust back? My boss is understandably MAD but not necessarily with me.
What do I do? Where do I go from here?

My partner and I (34F and 31M) bought a new build home for 299k. Have lived here coming up on a year. We filed for homestead exemption in January, and finally got the appraisal value from tax office saying it was appraised for 310k. We protested and settled on 299k. So now we will start paying property taxes on the actual value of our home, because last year we only paid on the land. Long story short, my question is related to our mortgage quote. We were quoted 2,050/mo, by loan officer. Our actual mortgage bill the last year has been 1750/mo. Now that our property appraisal and tax office has allocated its value to base property taxes on, will there be a difference in us paying 300/mo into escrow starting now vs just wait for mortgage company to do the escrow balance analysis? Will we owe money later in a large lump sum? Or will it just roll into next year’s payments? Our mortgage company just said we can pay extra into escrow or pay lump sum, however if we could not, it will be added to next years payments.
We are getting mixed answers from our own research and discussions with mortgage company so I just want to make sure, we will do the best route to not get a huge surprise later. I just don’t know how any of these scenarios play out numbers wise and would appreciate any help.

I get really hungry at night, even if I have had a large dinner. I’m always hungry as I fall asleep and will sometimes wake up hungry during the night. By morning, it is gone. It follows my cycles of being extra itchy.

I ended up starting a new company around 18 months ago and things went fine at first, however around 6 months ago I substantially under priced two large jobs (my biggest to date) I just underestimated the amount of work in them, and probably got complacent in the estimating process. I struggled through always paying my subby's and employees leaving very little for myself to live on, because of this I've had to miss my last 3 quarters vat payments to hmrc (around 20k) as I had to use the vat money to pay supplies and tradesmen to keep the job running otherwise they would be no money coming in.
Now moving forward I've been extra diligent when pricing and have work booked in, with healthy profit margins. But I'm unsure whether I will be able to come back from this financially. I'm unsure when I'll be able to pay back HMRC.
So i suppose what I'm asking is has anybody else been in this situation?
Any useful advice on what I can do to move forward

This topic is difficult to research online, given how little discussion there is around it, if any. Still, I believe it is possible to regenerate glans penis tissue, given that our bodies' cells are in a constant process of regeneration (death and birth) at a controlled rate. When it gets out control, it's called cancer but that's another topic; this needs to be a controlled, effective and safe kind of treatment. Glans regeneration (regrowth, tissue repair, however you wish to call it) may also be possible with some kind of stem cell therapy. If some kind of wound or burn happens on it, it obviously can heal to a considerable degree if you're healthy, so there must be a way to stimulate the procreation of new cells in this part of the body.
The reason why I'm asking is because, throughout the months, I washed my glans penis too frequently and too intensely in the shower due to my OCD. It was a grave and stupid mistake of mine that I really regret, and I'm looking for a solution. What happened: I ended up slightly deforming my glans penis, making it a bit flatter on top and slimmer on the sides, giving it a slightly conical shape, and reducing the protuberance of my urethra opening. This has made me feel like my sexual wellbeing has considerably decreased.

So a way to properly sterilize olive oil for healing as a topical treatment, without having it lose its beneficial chemical properties, is needed. I guess there's also coconut oil but I don't know if it can be of any help, since I've heard it's used for other reasons... Including plenty of vitamin C in the diet can also help the body produce its own collagen, as far as I'm concerned, and collagen is necessary for tissue to be healthy, is it not?
So do you have any suggestions? Please help, thank you! If you're just going to comment something like "regeneration isn't possible" or "there's nothing you can do" then don't even bother doing so, since that kind of answer is unhelpful and arrogant (because science is in a constant process of evolution and discovery, and just because you think it isn't possible, doesn't mean it actually isn't).

Hi Everyone! I posted this on Colognes but figured I’d share here, too.
I’ve always loved good smelling stuff and for the last 15 years I’ve usually had one bottle of cologne, and would replace once it’s out. Only in the last few months have I really delved into this world and began filling out a modest collection. I’m definitely not an expert (so take my reviews with a big grain of salt) but I love smelling and writing so here ya go. (Fucking wall of text incoming lmao, I didn’t realize how lengthy this got)
I just got back from a three-hour mall trip to try and get my nose on as many niche fragrances as my senses would tolerate. I had already done a good bit of research so I had some picked out to try and others already crossed-off. Im a 30M for reference.
I also had the goal in mind to find a contender for a fall/winter scent that exudes class, sophistication and decadence. For that, I’ve already tried a few that I really enjoy, and kind of used these as a springboard to continue exploring:
Xerjoff Alexandria II- This is what I envision royalty wearing. Lavender and rosewood mix soooo nice in the open, and dries into a lovey rose/vanilla/essence of oud. The oud is really toned down here for those that dislike it. It’s kind of hard to pick out. Nuclear performance.
Initio Oud for Greatness- Another good starter oud, you could say (this was my introduction to oud). It lasts forever and the dry down is seriously heavenly. The wet, soily oud is at the forefront for 2-4 hours, but I’m absolutely in love with what’s left when it disappears. Lavender, saffron, nutmeg and musk mixes into the best dryer-sheet-like scent I’ve come across (what it reminds ME of at least).
Perfums de Marly Haltane- Quite similar in the opening to Oud for Greatness. Haltane is darker, though, where I get more leathesmoke. I think the oud in this is more subdued, or at least less moist smelling. It blends well and lasts a good while.
Initio Atomic Rose- Holy shit. Apparently rose gets my motor GOING. I tried a lot of rose-centric fragrances today, but this probably still takes the cake for its balance and strength, in addition to the scent itself being just gorgeous.
So with those in mind I was off to Neiman Marcus. I sampled a large amount more than what I’ve written, but stuck to the ones that were memorable; good or bad.
Frederic Malle - Portrait of a Lady- My favorite of the Frederic Malle. Sensual rose/clove/currant at the front, but it is kind of hard to pick out specific notes on this one. After looking, I can get the cinnamon in the background of the dry down, it blends perfectly with the sandalwood, rose and benzoin after drying down. - Carnal Flower- Some similarity to POAL, lots of tuberose and jasmine, which I personally like. A bright yet sensual floral, and you get some coconut and melon there, too. I typically dislike coconut but this is blended masterfully. - Lipstick Rose- Yeah, that’s what it smells like. Try this if you’ve seen people describe scents as lipstick-y or violet taking on that accord. Not my cup of tea, also leans more feminine to my nose than the other two. - Musc Ravageur- I really wanted to like this one. And for a split second I did! A clove-y vanilla sasparilla is what I first got, and it unfortunately turned into barnyard urine. I immediately remembered seeing some reviews stating this, and I couldn’t get my nose to move past it. I can tell there’s good stuff there, but not for me.
Amouage - Reflection- The only one I’d tried before, and remains one of my favs. Rosemary and pink pepper greet you with a deep, fresh spice. The vetiver and patchouli sit nicely at the bottom, and the combination of white florals mixes wonderfully. Another scent I could imagine on royalty, and seems pretty versatile, too. You could wear this year-round without feeling out of place. Insane staying power. - Lyric- Probably my favorite, but I need to smell again on another day. Compared to the other Amouage, I had to continually stick my nose in the coffe beans to pick up the scent from the test strip. When I did get it, it was a lovely light, fresh scent. Quite a departure from the other Amouage I’ve tried, but great. No surprise, the list of notes are some of my favorites: lime, bergamot, rose, orange blossom, saffron, nutmeg, musk, pine, vanilla, incense, sandalwood. Seriously, love each and all those individually and they come together beautifully. - Interlude- Another good one. Dark, mysterious. Definitely get the oregano/peppepatchouli/incense bomb off the top. Leather lurking behind. I typically don’t gravitate toward the leathery scents but this one’s good. - Enclave- This pretty much seals the deal for me that on me, mint just ain’t it. I liked Sedley at first, but the mint somehow gets too cloying to my nose after too long. I can tell I would get the same from the peppermint in the opening of Enclave. I almost liked this one, too. If you can even tolerate peppermint, you’ll enjoy this one.
Mind Games - Blockade- Wowww. First sniff love, here. Explosion of citrus, juicy fruit-y sex. I usually find myself staying away from citrus-forward scents but this shit is next level. This will be a contender for my next upscale summer buy. - Double Attack- Another love at first sniff. It’s familiar, though. Chocolate/orange/cinnamon/vanilla. You’ll want to eat it right up. I already have this box checked in my collection, but may come back to it in the future. - Checkmate- Another lovely scent. Champagne, red currant, rose, magnolia, little patchouli. It all comes together really nicely, and it was difficult for me to pick out specific notes before looking. Not a love, but I was really impressed with the quality and scent profile of the Mind Games I tried.
Clive Christian - Town & Country- Wow. No seriously, like fucking wow. Smells like an Italian fruit cart strolling through an English manor’s sprawling garden road. I look at the notes and I don’t understand how you get this smell supposedly out of Clary Sage, Ambergris, and Sandalwood. Like, what? This is high quality shit. I get some pear or grapes there, too. Try this. - Crab Apple Blossom- Yum yum yum this is goooood. Smells like it sounds. Bergamot, apple blossom and rhubarb dance around playfully together. Can’t help but have a big stupid smile on your face when you smell this. The more it dried down, the more it might be my favorite over Town & Country. - Matsukita- Another great scent. In the same vein as the other two since they are part of the same “Crown Collection.” You get some smokiness, here. Bergamot with nutmeg and mate give depth and a little mystery. White florals, woody ambers and musk at the base. Just quality stuff here. All three of these in the Crown Collection were available in 10ml travel size gift pack for $300. Good idea to put on my wish list. That shit is kiiiinda expensive.
Xerjoff - Erba Pura- I did not expect to like this as much as I did! Favorite that I sampled. Perfect combination of citrus and fruitiness off the top, layered over a bed of sweet musk. Something here is very familiar to my nose but I couldn’t place it. This will be another top contender for a future upscale summer purchase. - Accento- Soothing scent. Fruity white floral (usually dumb reach for me), and the iris gives it some powder but not overpowering. Not as feminine-leaning as I would have expected. - Iommi- Delicious! Sweet smoky rum off the top, and it’s a little surprising how forward the patchouli and leather is in this. It’s bordering on being a little overpowering, but it tames a bit on the dry down. I’d need to see how this goes on my skin, for sure. - Torino 21- Another one that I liked way more than expected. I’m going back and seeing mint listed as a top note here…I didn’t get that! And thank God since mint usually is a non-starter. Kind of an aquatic green to my nose. Again, just a lovely scent. - Naxos- Yeah ok this is good shit. I was expecting a sweet bomb, but this is definitely more restrained than what a lot of reviewers will have you believe. I’m a sucker for lavender and bergamot. Throw in honey and jasmine atop a bed of tobacco, vanilla and tonka bean? Yes please. - Erba Gold- Pretty good. To my nose more feminine than Erba Pura, likely due to the extra fruits in the middle. That combination of citruses, pear and melon is reminiscent of particular ladies’ scents.
Louis Vuitton - L’Immensité- Ohhhh yeahh. Relaxation in a bottle. My favorite besides maybe Fleur du Desert. This, Imagination and Météore all kind of dance to the same song, so to speak. More than one of these would be redundant, in my opinion. The quality speaks through each of these fragrances, though- really nice stuff. - Imagination- The name fits, as a lot of the notes here are almost fleeting like a word on the tip of your tongue. It’s a great, calming scent but it didn’t blow me away. Like I said, L’Immensité was the best of these and I don’t see the need to diversify within this collection. - Météore- Compared to L’Immensité, there’s a little more sweetness here. This leans closer to a shower gel-like scent in my opinion. Still great. - Fleur du Désert- This one started out reallly good. Honey and cinnamon into rose and orange blossom is an intriguing, sensual combination. Unfortunately, smelling it on my arm after a couple hours, the jasmine and honey turn into something my mind recognizes as an old lady scent. The POAL on my hand, by comparison, keeps mixing with my skin in a great pheromonic way. - Ombre Nomad- Disappointed with this one. I’m realizing I don’t gravitate toward darker scents like heavy oud, leather, incense. I can tell it’s put together really well and uses quality materials, but this isn’t one that was made for me.
All in all, my main take-aways include: Xerjoff scents living up to the name. I was definitely impressed with their offerings, and would have expected it to lean closer to overrated. Same with Mind Games. Really enjoyed everything I sampled from them, even if it wasn’t my cup of tea, I was impressed with the quality. Also, I need to get back and sample the rest of the Clive Christian house. I was absolutely blown away with what I tried.
A little bonus: I tried TF Noir de Noir, Extreme Noir, and Cafe Rose. Extreme Noir is excellent. A regal mix of saffron, nutmeg and cardamom on top of rose and white florals. Ahhhh, again, similar to what I imagine a king or king to smell like.
Cafe Rose is probably the second best rose-centric scent to my nose besides Atomic Rose. I’ll need to put those side by side.
Anyway, feel free to ask away if you’d like. I was bored and inspired so killed some time writing this out :)

We already have animals that eat plants, hunt other animals, and some mobs can even breed on their own (villagers)
I know "ecosystems" in Minecraft sound complicated, but I think there’s a vanilla friendly way to do it with just 2 simple rules:

The 2 Basic Rules of the Ecosystem:

1. All animal mobs require constant food or they will eventually starve and die (without giving any drops.)
2. Animals who get more than enough food will breed on their own.

Both of these rules happen SLOWLY overtime. Manual breeding is still the fastest way to get animals, they'll now just need a source of renewable food like grass blocks to avoid starvation.
But with just those 2 rules you can simulate entire ecosystems everywhere in Minecraft!
Unfortunately in Minecraft right now this would be pretty unbalanced and most animals would eventually reproduce way too much or become extinct. How can we fix this to make default worlds a little more self-sustaining?

Basic ideas to help balance things:

• Any area that spawns with a large amount of herbivores (Cows, Sheep, Chicken, Pigs, Rabbits, etc.) also needs to spawn near by predators (Foxes, Wolves, Polar Bears, etc.) to keep their population in check. (and vice versa!)
• Since grass is SO abundant, it should provide less food points. Enough to keep an animal alive, but it would take awhile for them to eat enough to be able to reproduce. Rarer plants like tall grass and flowers provide more food points and encourage breeding.
• When an animal dies of starvation on grass, it will act like bonemeal and create more of these rarer extra nourishing plants. If herbivore populations start dying out they'll naturally be given more food to help balance them!
• The AI of predators and prey will need to be improved to make them better at hunting and avoiding being eaten.
• And in order to truly have a balanced system there would probably just need to be more variety of predators, prey and plant food sources to fit each of Minecraft’s environments.

It would need lots of tweaks, but ideally this would make the default Minecraft world full of balanced, self sustaining ecosystems, that only the player could mess up.

The players effect on these ecosystems:

• If a players removes too many of one type of an animal in an area, not only are you likely to cause it to go extinct there, but you’re also hurting all the nearby animals that depend on it.
• If you remove all the predators in an area, the herbivore’s population will increase and they will overeat their plant food source. All the grass, flowers and mushrooms will eventually be eaten faster than they can grow back leaving the area barren, and eventually the herbivores will starve.
• If you remove the plants in an area for your own buildings, it can harm the entire ecosystem!
• If you introduce non native plants or animals into new environments, they may immediately die off or worse: outcompete the existing ecosystem and cause catastrophic effects!

If all of this sounds too drastic, keep it mind that it happens slowly over a long period of time, you have time to help your ecosystem recover! It can also be disabled as a gamerule if it just doesn't interest you at all.

Okay if you wanted to take this a step further and create truly realistic adaptable ecosystems... I’d suggest one final rule...

Rule 3: Evolution!

1. All animals’ have unique stats. They’re a combination of their parents + a small random factor. The better stats they have, the more food points they require to survive and breed.

This may sound too complicated, but we already have this mechanic with horses, so I think it would fit nicely in this system.
This is essentially basic evolution. Natural selection would make it so only the animals with stats that best benefit their specific environment will survive.
Areas with high food but high predators will develop stats that help them escape easier. Areas with low food will develop worse stats that require less food. Areas with low food but high predators will need to develop behaviors to avoid predators that don't cost more food (like hiding instead of running)
Here are all the stats that animals can change through reproduction:

• Movement speed (High food point cost)
• Health (High food point cost)
• Amount of offspring they have (High food point cost)
• How good is their range of vision for seeing predators, food, and finding mates? (Medium food point cost)
• Do they run from predators or hide from them? (Running would use up food points)
• How much do they randomly wander around? (Wandering would use up food points)
• Do they want to stay close to other animals or avoid them? (No cost difference, but this effects competition for resources and chances of escaping a predator.)

This is just a very rudimentary proof of concept idea. I can think of many other ways to build off of it, but to keep things simple I'll leave it at this for now.
What do you think? Does this ruin Minecraft? Is it all too complicated? I think it would be tricky to get right, but it makes the animals in the game much more interesting and teaches the player the consequences for messing with the environment, which I think Mojang wants.
