Grinding Isk vs Grinding 2nd Job

2024.05.14 17:58 Daishi007 Grinding Isk vs Grinding 2nd Job

My objective is to get a bunch of isk for severel different reasons. Inject toons, super, dreads, faxs, jump frieghter, etc. The reason I bring this up is because I just want to make it clear how much I am going to need.
I dont really enjoy the grinding of isk. I really enjoy the pvp that comes with having these things. I'd really like to blops, dread bomb, deploy supers, etc. but I don't have enough isk or the assets yet.
Basically if I could spend grinding some of the better isk facets in eve for 20 hours a week or if I get a 2nd job and grind out say $1300 a month to invest in plex what would make more isk?
Options Abyssals/C5 WH/etc. Grinding for 80 hours
VS
$1300 Plex
Just to get the discussion started.
2x of the 20,000 Plex packs at $649.99 = $1299.98 40,000 Plex = simplified to 200b isk st jita buy priced today.
I guess I really need to figure out what the best isk/hr activity I can do and multiply that tines 80.
Disclaimer: I figure I'll get some it's a game. Or don't buy Plex to buy isk. Or you need to learn the game not just Plex your way into it.(I played for several years before ans gave away all my assets so I'm starting at zero) All valid opinions but not really what this thread is about. Please can we keep it on topic?

Drilling aims to move towards resource estimation
Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - May 1, 2024) - Seabridge Gold (TSX: SEA) (NYSE: SA) today announced that preparations are well underway at the wholly-owned 3 Aces project in Canada's Yukon to expand upon the comprehensive exploration model confirmed from last season's drill program. This year's program is a multi-pronged effort to apply the exploration model to new targets within the Central Core, evaluate the size and potential of existing zones, and assess the exploration model at regional targets across the larger 3 Aces property.
The fully funded program plans to complete additional geophysical surveys and about 8,000 meters of core and reverse circulation drilling in the Central Core Area and outlaying targets on the 357 km2 3 Aces property at a budgeted cost of $6.0M.
Commenting on this year's program, Rudi Fronk, Seabridge Chairman and CEO, noted "our team has confirmed several key parameters that are critical to localizing gold concentrations in the Central Core Area. Findings from last season's program give us confidence in our ability to expand mineralized zones utilizing our robust exploration model. We are excited to apply this understanding across more of the 3 Aces land package. We view this year's work as pivotal for moving the project towards resource delineation."
The 3 Aces exploration model predicts continuity of mineralization, including high-grade gold, localized along the limbs of second-order folds (F2). Mineralized zones are best expressed at the contacts between thick phyllite sequences and coarse interbedded sandstones and conglomerates. Shearing along fold limbs at these rheologic contacts result in brittle fracturing and Au bearing quartz veining preferentially hosted in coarser clastic units. Evidence indicates that this structural architecture is regional in nature and multiple F2 synforms and antiforms have been identified across the property. Substantiating the presence of these controls on gold mineralization outside of the Central Core Area would provide Seabridge with confirmation of a district scale project.
Additional exploration efforts planned for this season will evaluate the limit of several targets within the Central Core Area. This work is intended to deliver indications of size potential on several known high-grade zones and provide additional refinements on the controls for gold. Last year's exploration work also revealed the potential for additional target concepts not previously recognized. Surface mapping and geophysical surveys are planned to assist in refining these early-stage concepts.
Seabridge will also resume its previously initiated reclamation activities at the site, concentrating on exploration roads. Environmental monitoring activities focusing on wildlife management, water sampling and understanding environmental baseline conditions will continue in support of exploration activities.

3 Aces was acquired by Seabridge in March 2020 consisting of 1,734 claims covering 357 km² (35,700 ha) located in a readily accessible part of southeastern Yukon. Historical work identified a broad area of gold-in-soil extending more than 20 kilometers and past drilling encountered extensive gold. We believe the characteristics of the 3 Aces project are indicative of a district scale, orogenic gold project consistent with other deposits in the vicinity and around the world.
Exploration activities on the 3 Aces project are being conducted under the supervision of William E. Threlkeld, Registered Professional Geologist, Senior Vice President of the Company and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Threlkeld has reviewed and approved this news release.
Seabridge holds a 100% interest in several North American gold projects. Seabridge's assets include the KSM and Iskut projects located in Northwest British Columbia, Canada's "Golden Triangle", the Courageous Lake project located in Canada's Northwest Territories, the Snowstorm project in the Getchell Gold Belt of Northern Nevada and the 3 Aces project set in the Yukon Territory. 2024.04.28 20:03 Bright_Dark55 Was 4x18 "Northern Lights" one of the most disturbing episodes in TV?

Disclaimer
This is an spectator POV biased interpretation, not the only one. I'd like to share it with you, get your feedback, and possibly go deeper on the intent of the writers and the possible interpretations and lessons to be extracted from the episode. It is controversial, but the intention is to get more opinions on it.
The conflict
The episode begins by presenting Fleischman arranging almost idyllic plans for his upcoming holidays. As always, the all-knowing oracle, Marilyn, predicts that it won't happen, and Joel remarks that it would be a cosmic joke. The showrunner has Fleischman verbalize that as a child, everyone should have learned that if there is something you want with all your heart, you are not going to get it. In this case, it is not something unreal but a right he earned as a worker. Just to recall, a few episodes back, Marilyn didn't honor her contract and avoided going to work because of the wind.
Afterwards, Marilyn acts as the messenger and delivers a telegram from the state to Fleishman, denying his holidays because they claim they won't find a temporary replacement doctor. It is interesting that Joel does not receive a phone call from his line manager or HR, not even a letter or fax, but a telegram, which seems to be the minimal legal means to notify something unilaterally, with a read receipt. They didn't say they would delay or postpone the holidays; they simply denied them. It is unlikely that they couldn't find a doctor to cover the position, even if they had to pay his fee for two weeks, but rather that they couldn't find a willing one on their payroll. Joel then decides to defend his rights. The conflict has been created.
Joel's decision, reactions and consequences
The doctor prepares his position and it is delivered by Ed, perhaps mocking Marlon Brando's Oscar-winning performance, a tactic that is not very well perceived in the community:
Reactions to this:
After this, Marilyn is willing to replace Fleishman in his medical duties without any formal medical studies.
Fleishman is pressured in the pub to provide a prescription by a local for a non-life-threatening illness. The local is aware of the strike but does not care about it. Fleishman delivers a speech about individual rights, which, in the manner it is done, can be perceived as him trying to abuse the system to get his own way. Similar pressure from other members of the community is expected.
Betrayals
The bubble guy quickly betrays Joel, asking to be invited to his home. Once he is in his home, he serves him. He also lies when he says he would have been delighted to represent him, having previously jumped to be a retainer in the previous town meeting without being asked to do so. Joel cannot possibly know it is a lie, but the audience sees it.
Ed, without a court order, evicts Fleishman under the order of an expected hot-headed Maurice, although it is not shown in the episode. Ed had previously delivered an Indian token of friendship to Fleishman in the same season. It is unclear whether Ed was unable to refuse Maurice's request or if he agreed. Not only does he evict Fleishman, but he also seizes the doctor's properties. Joel receives nothing but a change of underwear and a toothbrush. Additionally, Ed verbalizes that Joel's story is not going to have a happy ending.
In that very moment, Fleishman is expelled from the community by the betrayal of a close friend, Ed (Judas). What could be the feelings of Fleishman at this point?
The bubble guy and Maggie look for the most extreme case of breaching a student agreement to put Joel on his knees, not because they think it is right (the bubble guy verbalizes it) but for the sake of sport in the court, aiming to completely defeat the adversary. The case is not similar to a strike action. Joel is on strike to defend his rights as a worker. Maggie and the bubble guy both make an immoral and morbid decision: "Grind opponent's face into the marble floor." Maggie seems to be seduced by the idea; the bubble guy says that she is putting the final nail in Joel's coffin. She smiles, becomes aroused, says thank you, and leaves in a kind of sick epiphany.
Joel does not see this, but the audience witnesses it.
Isolation
Joel, as a human being, feeling betrayed by his friends, abused by the authority, and isolated from the community, starts listing his good deeds as a doctor (part of his job) to others in exchange for support from his community. He receives zero sympathy but condescending looks and patronizing phrases from Shelly and Ruth Anne in the bar. It is reprehensible to do that, but still human. However, you understand Fleishman's motives to do so as a human being cornered by all parties: close friends, community, state/authority/legal system. He believed in the empire of the law.
Also it has to be taken into account that Cicely is not a self-supporting community, it relies on America's industry and institutions to exist: medical drugs, food, beverages, electricity, supplies, petrol, highly trained professionals, etc. They cannot produce engineers, doctors, technicians, professors, lawyers, goods, etc. and have to import them using state money, which they cannot really afford by themselves to have a doctor.
Homeless
At this point, Fleishman becomes homeless, and the hobo receives help from Maurice to become a socially integrated member of society again. Fleishman becomes homeless because of his principles and his beliefs in the empire of the law and the fundamental rights of workers.
Defeat and colectivism
Just after Holling wakes up from hibernation, Joel suddenly also wakes up to reality and silently returns to his office. Joel rationalizes his moral break caused by the betrayal of his friends, his community, and the authority. When he explains himself to Marilyn, obviously psychologically scarred, holding a cup of warm coffee (symbolizing a small, conventional, confortable, safe, and non-meaningful life) with two hands as his proverbial lifesaver, he shrugs his shoulders, wears a big sad smile, a defeated expression, shows signs of fatigue in his eyes, and looks down, embarrassed. Marilyn nods in understanding.
Joel loses something at this point.
While one cannot control life, it could be said that Joel has learned that fundamental rights and the empire of the law take a back seat to the showrunner's notion of collective wellness. It appears that the showrunner does not agree with the old Roman maxim: 'Dura lex sed lex.' This opinion is conveyed to the audience.
In the episode, there is no change of mind of any member of the community, the state, or Fleishman, nor an explicit catharsis when Fleishman's will is broken. We also see some dubious actions from members of the community to break Fleishman's will.
Psychological Facade and Cynicism Armor
The episode ends with Fleishman joining the community again (not the other way arrround) in a sophistic, Chris performance, inspired by very appropriate for the name of a cheap beer: lite.
He runs into Ruth Anne and Ed, in a slightly violent scene. Fleishman vows himself upon them, recognizing their win and looking at them with narrowed eyes. His body language is not addressing them directly, and he looks outside when he listens to them, unconfortable. He stops smiling when he listens to them, then overreacts and says to Ed that his invitation is very nice, patting him on the back. Afterward, we see his face illuminated, suggesting he may have had a catharsis about his position in the world.

Bronson Slope and Snip North Intermediate Sulfidation Epithermal Systems Appear Porphyry Driven; Exhibit Prospective Vectors to Source Intrusions
Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - April 23, 2024) - Seabridge Gold (TSX: SEA) (NYSE: SA) reports today that this year's drill program at our 100%-owned Iskut Project will concentrate on testing for the source copper-gold porphyry that has driven the intermediate sulfidation epithermal mineral systems recognized in our 2023 program. The Iskut Project is located in the Golden Triangle of northwest B.C. about 30 km. by air from our KSM gold-copper district.
Our growing gold-dominated Bronson Slope Mineral Resource and our 2023 discovery of similar mineralization at Snip North are interpreted to be high-level expressions of intrusive related porphyry mineralization. The search for these source intrusions will employ three helicopter-portable drill rigs to complete approximately 15,000 meters of core drilling this year at a budgeted cost of $12 million.
Seabridge Chairman and CEO Rudi Fronk commented: "Last year we discovered extensive gold-dominated epithermal-style mineralization that is consistent with the upper parts of significant porphyry copper-gold mineral systems. The expansion of the Bronson Slope mineral resource and the new discoveries at Snip North have given us clear direction on where to focus our efforts. These intrusive targets appear to be embedded in a district-scale structural trend that is reminiscent of our KSM deposits and this year's work is dedicated to realizing the porphyry potential we had in mind when we acquired the Iskut project."
Regional geophysical surveys and surface geology have confirmed the district scale structural corridor that connects the Quartz Rise, Bronson Slope and Snip North targets. Substantial high-level expressions of a Cu-Au porphyry system fall along this regional trend. These multiple targets have only recently seen deep drilling and 2024 is planned to better evaluate their deeper porphyry potential.
Results from drilling in 2023 at Bronson Slope have expanded, along strike and down plunge, an intermediate sulfidation epithermal system open in multiple directions. This mineral zone is adjacent to the quartz-magnetite breccia pipe previously discovered, all of which are indications of an intensive and extensive intrusion related fluid system at Bronson Slope.
In 2023, drilling at Snip North encountered wide intersections of gold and copper that were reported in a news release (see here) dated December 14, 2023 as follows:

* Results to date are early stage, however most of the zones have been intercepted perpendicular to bedding that may have provided a primary control on the true width of the epithermal mineralization. Establishing the orientation of the mineral zones is still in progress; additional studies and drilling are required to confirm true widths of mineralization.
These intersections in sedimentary rocks contain the characteristic alteration and mineralization of an intermediate sulfidation epithermal system associated with an intrusion related porphyry source. The proximity of these holes adjacent to a magnetic high and within a resistivity low has provided a discrete vector to evaluate in this year's program.
The regional structural corridor extends south to Quartz Rise. A reinterpretation of drilling and geophysical data from Seabridge's 2019 and 2020 programs at Quartz Rise has refined a target with a deep resistivity anomaly indicative of another copper-gold porphyry system below a partly eroded lithocap featuring intense geochemical expression at surface. Local faults are interpreted to be conduits for a porphyry fluid system.

2024.04.06 06:03 Manus_2 No matter what happens, I personally have no future.

Even if you could snap your fingers and solve the myriad of omnicidal threats, from climate chaos to global conflict, that are currently besetting all forms of life on this planet, it'd make no difference to at all to someone such as myself. There could be a literal utopia outside these walls, and yet my "future" would remain one exclusively comprised of rot and decay. If anything, I consider my own contemptible existence to be a microcosm of the terminal trajectory that civilization, and most life on Earth, is currently on. A slow, unalterable death spiral to oblivion. At least most can find/enjoy their own personal consolations, despite being unwillingly dragged along with all this endless destruction, whether it be friendships, romances, and all the other things that make human life worthwhile. Sadly, I have none of those things, and in all likelihood I never will. What I am, much like this consumerist hellscape that's long blighted the world, is something that never should have been.
DISCLAIMER: I'm an agoraphobic hermit who's been trapped indoors for 15+ years. Whatever glib "advice" it is you may want to share, please keep it to yourself. Trust me when I say that I've heard it all before, and if I were in any kind of position to get myself out of this, I would've long ago done it already.
EDIT: Welp, I'll be the first to admit that I shouldn't have posted this here. I could've done without all the snide remarks and asinine victim blaming, but as I ought to have known, there's plenty of rotten assholes out there who relish the opportunity to kick someone when they're already down. To those few who wished me well, and respected where I was coming from, I appreciate it. To the rest who blatantly ignored my disclaimer and tried to shove their unsolicited/unhelpful "advice" down my throat, go fuck yourselves. I expressly said that I wasn't looking for that sort of thing, and somehow by me directly confronting those who threw it in my face anyway, it's taken as evidence that I'm the one who's apparently in the wrong here. Un-fucking-believable. No matter what I say, it truly doesn't seem to matter. It won't stop most people from being swept up in their knee jerk exasperation with my supposed "defeatism", before then using that as a pretext to either hold me in contempt, or outright mockery.
Don't you all think I want to get better? That I'd want to experience an actual future that's worth living someday? Because I very obviously do want that, and the fact that I even need to put it out there this directly, just to assuage any apparent confusion on the matter, really says a lot about the ignorant assumptions/prejudices some people immediately seem to cling to, in regards to how depressives like myself are just gluttons for punishment, whose true sadomasochistic desire is to continue to remain trapped in whatever their miserable predicament happens to be. If it's too hard to help someone (and generic advice sent over the internet isn't helpful), or that person isn't in a position to help themselves, well then clearly it must be the sufferer's fault, and they deserve their suffering. There's that old just-world fallacy at work yet again.
In my case, I need, and I want to stress the word NEED here, people who are physically present in my life, and who are in a committed position to help reintegrate me back into everyday life. That right there is quite literally the only version of help/helping that meets the definition of the word, at least for someone who's severely incapacitated and/or isolated, and anyone who thinks otherwise is certifiably delusional. This self-help, hyper individualist bullshit that passes for "help" over the internet, is about as far from helpful as it possibly it gets, and the fact that so many people don't seem to realize that only serves to typify how brainwashed they are about it to begin with. As much as the internet constantly wants to scream this sort of "you're on your own, sink or swim" garbage at me, the cold reality of the matter remains the same, and how I simply can't do this on my own. I need people, physically in my life. I need a community, that's physically and tangibly accessible. I need a world that isn't a hyper competitive shithole where any and all interactions between everything/everyone are inherently transactional and superficial. That's what I need, okay? Not want, need. No different than how someone with a serious health condition needs an organ transplant.
Of course, the obvious issue here presents itself, and how I can't will a world, a community, or a person for that matter, to come and help me in the way that I need to be helped. Things being as they are, we are indeed, each of us, all on our own. If you can't resolve whatever your issues are through your own efforts, absent any genuine outside help/support, then you're fucked. It's really that unsympathetically simple. And no, as I'm sure some of you might be thinking, a goddamn therapist isn't an example of someone who can act as the kind of support I'm looking for. If anything, therapy is the epitome of everything wrong with the world today, and how seeking even the most minimal human assistance has become a monetized business transaction. Not only is a therapist highly limited in the ways they can actually help, they're also only available for as long as you're able to keep paying them. That is NOT helpful. That is NOT what I need here.
When it comes down to it, the things that I need don't fucking exist anymore. Nowadays, most people are cold and indifferent automatons to anyone they don't already know, and whatever sense of community that once existed on this planet, was itself obliterated decades ago, largely by greedy capitalists looking to atomize the public by any means necessary in the pursuit of profit/control.
That's the reality. That's the situation. And the fact that everyone here seems so out of the loop on it, on a frigging collapse oriented subreddit, is downright baffling.

2024.03.28 06:03 Rainyfriedtofu Clover Health’s Diamond Mine: IRB, HIPAA, P4 and AI Utilization.

**do not utilize this content without author approval**
Hello Fellow Apes,
Today, I want to shed light on a groundbreaking AI tool in healthcare, which I firmly believe represents the future of the field and stands as an immensely valuable, yet underexplored asset. This tool is the Clover Health Assistant. I'll explain its unique advantages, including compliance with IRB (Institutional Review Board) and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations, as well as its application in personalized medicine (P4).
The motivation behind my discussion stems from noticing a widespread lack of understanding regarding why Clover Health incentivizes physicians to utilize this AI tool. Many are unaware of the significance of IRB and HIPAA compliance and the immense value of the data collected by the Clover Health Assistant. For researchers, consider the profound implications of having access to a comprehensive health database containing the records of 80,000 patients over three years. This includes detailed information on blood work, medication dosages, side effects, lab results, radiology, and more, all consolidated in one central location. The potential for conducting in-depth cost and treatment analysis with this data is invaluable, easily amounting to billions in worth.
Before we go into all of the fancy stuff, let get some foundation information out of the way.
What is a Clover Health Assistant?
The Clover Health Assistant, also known as the Clover Assistant, is a web-based application designed to support physicians in delivering personalized, data-driven care. It's created by doctors for doctors, providing them with a robust view of each patient's medical history and potential health needs. This ensures that clinicians are equipped with timely and relevant information to make the most of each patient interaction. The Clover Assistant integrates with electronic health records (EHRs), synthesizing health data and surfacing personalized clinical recommendations to physicians to drive earlier disease detection and intervention. By leveraging this technology, Clover Health aims to improve medical outcomes and lower costs for patients.
What is IRB and how is it applied to medicine?
An Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a committee established to review and approve research involving human subjects. The primary purpose of the IRB is to ensure that the rights, welfare, and privacy of human subjects are protected. In the context of medicine, IRBs play a crucial role in overseeing the ethical aspects of medical research, from initial study design to the final publication of results.
When a research project involves human participants, whether it's testing new pharmaceuticals, evaluating medical devices, or studying health outcomes, the project must be reviewed by an IRB. This process includes assessing the risks and benefits of the research, ensuring informed consent is obtained from all participants, and monitoring the study for compliance with ethical standards.
IRBs are guided by ethical principles outlined in the Belmont Report, such as respect for persons, beneficence, and justice. They apply regulations that are part of federal law, including the Common Rule, which outlines standards for IRB operation and researcher responsibilities. In addition to reviewing the ethical dimensions of research proposals, IRBs may require modifications to projects to protect participants and ensure that the research aligns with ethical and legal standards.
In summary, IRBs are essential in medicine for safeguarding the interests of human subjects in research, ensuring ethical standards are met, and facilitating valuable scientific inquiries that can lead to advances in healthcare and treatment.
Hang in there, we got one more concept to understand. What is HIPAA and how does it apply to medicine?
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), enacted in 1996, is a federal law that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information in the United States. HIPAA is crucial in the medical field for several reasons:
  1. Privacy and Security of Health Information: HIPAA establishes national standards for the protection of individually identifiable health information. This includes both physical records and electronic health information (EHI). It ensures that personal health information (PHI) is adequately protected while allowing the flow of health information needed to provide high-quality healthcare and protect the public's health and well-being.
  2. Patient Rights: HIPAA gives patients rights over their health information, including rights to examine and obtain a copy of their health records and request corrections if necessary.
  3. Regulations for Covered Entities and Business Associates: HIPAA applies to covered entities, such as health plans, healthcare clearinghouses, and healthcare providers that conduct certain healthcare transactions electronically. It also applies to business associates, or any entity that uses or discloses personally identifiable health information on behalf of a covered entity.
  4. Breach Notification: HIPAA requires covered entities and their business associates to provide notification following a breach of unsecured protected health information. This ensures that individuals are made aware when there is a risk to their personal health information.
  5. Enforcement: HIPAA includes provisions for enforcement of these rules, including penalties for non-compliance, which can range from monetary fines to criminal charges in severe cases.
In practice, HIPAA affects nearly all aspects of the healthcare system in the U.S. It influences how healthcare providers store, access, and share medical records, how health insurance claims are processed, and even how certain health information can be used for marketing or fundraising purposes. Compliance with HIPAA is critical for maintaining trust between patients and their healthcare providers, as well as ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive health information.
At first glance, Clover Health appears to be primarily a Medicare Advantage provider. However, upon closer examination, it reveals itself as a software company that capitalizes on its Medicare Advantage operations. The core infrastructure of Clover Health forms a competitive advantage, enabling the company to navigate around certain requirements of Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). As previously explained, IRB and HIPAA regulations are critical for protecting patient data and ensuring ethical research practices. By consolidating its operations into a single, integrated system, Clover Health facilitates the centralized storage of comprehensive health data. This integration allows healthcare providers easy access to and sharing of medical records within a secure framework. Clover Health, owning and controlling this system, gains direct access to this wealth of information, streamlining the processing of medical claims. Regarding research and experimentation, Clover Health utilizes its extensive data pool to conduct analyses akin to experiments, bypassing the traditional IRB review process for each individual study, due to its unique position and infrastructure.
I know, I know, please pump your break for a second here.
What I mean is that Clover Health can, in a sense, conduct research indirectly through the routine care provided by physicians. To illustrate, consider the treatment of diabetes, which involves navigating a complex landscape of comorbidities and medication interactions. Currently, determining the most effective treatment and medication dosage for a diabetic patient often resembles a hit-or-miss approach, requiring collaboration among physicians, specialists, and pharmacists. This process is hampered by the fragmented nature of patient data, which is frequently dispersed across different locations and must be transferred, often by fax, from one office to another.
Now, envision a unified system that consolidates all this information in one place. Within this system, an AI analyzes the data to identify the optimal medication dosage, combinations, and treatments for a diabetic patient of a certain weight with specific conditions. This scenario is made possible by integrating a shared database with AI capabilities to analyze and synthesize the data, thereby facilitating personalized care (P4 care) that is predictive, preventive, personalized, and participatory. Clover Health's approach essentially enables this level of integrated and informed healthcare delivery. This here is money as highlighted by Clov recent publications about improve kidney function and medication adherence.
I know what some of you are thinking… What da fuck is a P4 and why should I care?
P4 medicine represents a transformative approach to healthcare that is Predictive, Preventive, Personalized, and Participatory. It aims to make healthcare more proactive and tailored to individual needs, rather than reactive and one-size-fits-all. This model is particularly valuable in terms of financial benefits for both healthcare providers and patients for several reasons:
  1. Predictive: By identifying potential health issues before they manifest or become serious, predictive medicine can significantly reduce the cost of healthcare. For example, genetic testing and risk assessment tools can forecast the likelihood of developing certain conditions, allowing for early intervention that can prevent diseases from developing or progressing.
  2. Preventive: Preventive measures can avert illness and thus reduce the need for expensive treatments or hospital admissions. Vaccinations, lifestyle changes, and regular health screenings are examples of preventive actions that can save healthcare systems and patients considerable amounts of money by avoiding costly medical procedures and treatments in the future.
  3. Personalized: Personalized medicine tailors medical treatment to the individual characteristics of each patient. By understanding the genetic makeup, lifestyle, and environment of an individual, treatments can be more effectively targeted, reducing the trial-and-error approach of finding the right medication or therapy. This not only improves patient outcomes but also reduces waste from ineffective treatments and minimizes the risk of side effects, leading to cost savings.
  4. Participatory: This aspect encourages patients to take an active role in their own healthcare. By engaging in their health decisions and management, patients are more likely to adhere to preventive and treatment plans, leading to better health outcomes. Technology, such as mobile health apps and wearable devices, supports participatory health by enabling continuous monitoring and feedback. This engagement can reduce emergency room visits and hospitalizations, thereby saving costs.
The financial value of P4 medicine lies in its potential to reduce the overall cost of healthcare while improving outcomes. By focusing on early detection, prevention, and efficient, personalized treatment, P4 medicine aims to reduce the burden of chronic diseases, optimize healthcare resource utilization, and enhance the quality of life for patients. These improvements can lead to significant savings for healthcare systems and insurers, as well as out-of-pocket costs for patients, making P4 medicine a valuable investment in the future of healthcare.
Additionally, for those of you who don’t know, Developing P4 care involves significant investment in various domains including technology, research, personnel, and infrastructure. The cost can vary widely depending on the scale, scope, and specific objectives of the initiative. Here are some of the key factors that influence the cost of developing P4 care:
  1. Technology and Data Analytics: Investment in advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning technologies is crucial for analyzing patient data to predict health outcomes, tailor treatments, and engage patients in their care. The cost here includes both the initial technology development or acquisition and ongoing updates and maintenance.
  2. Electronic Health Records (EHR) Integration: Integrating personalized healthcare solutions with existing EHR systems can be complex and costly, requiring custom software development and robust data security measures.
  3. Genomic and Biomarker Research: Personalized medicine often involves genomic sequencing and biomarker analysis to understand individual risk factors and tailor treatments. The cost of such research can be high, especially when it involves cutting-edge technologies and high-throughput sequencing.
  4. Clinical Trials: Developing predictive and personalized treatment plans may require conducting clinical trials to validate their efficacy. These trials can be expensive due to regulatory requirements, recruitment costs, and the need for detailed data collection and analysis.
  5. Training and Education: Implementing a P4 approach requires training healthcare providers in new technologies and methodologies. Costs include developing training programs, educational materials, and potentially hiring specialists.
  6. Regulatory Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those related to patient data privacy (e.g., HIPAA in the U.S.) and ethical considerations for personalized medicine, can also incur costs.
  7. Patient Engagement Tools: Developing and maintaining tools and platforms for patient participation, such as mobile health apps, telemedicine services, and patient portals, requires significant investment in software development and user experience design.
Given these varied components, the cost of developing P4 care can range from tens of thousands to millions of dollars, influenced by the project's ambition, the technologies employed, the population served, and the healthcare system's existing infrastructure. Large healthcare systems or research institutions might spend millions on comprehensive P4 initiatives, while smaller, more targeted projects could be developed with smaller budgets focusing on specific aspects of P4 care, such as predictive analytics for a particular disease.
The Clover Assistant (CA) is able to deliver the above services effectively due to a bespoke infrastructure designed specifically for it. A significant barrier that prevents other AI companies from achieving what Clover Health does is the regulatory landscape, particularly the challenges posed by Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). While these companies must navigate the IRB process for each new idea, Clover Health takes a different approach by working through the patent department for its innovations because the created infrastructure is already IRB and HIPAA compliant. This distinction is crucial and often overlooked. Undergoing a full board review with the IRB can be a lengthy process, potentially taking from six months to a year. Clover Health and its Clover Assistant platform deserve recognition for their achievements in this context. The growing number of large healthcare providers partnering with Clover Health signals the practical value and potential of its AI technology. As Clover Assistant gains access to more data, it is positioned to significantly influence the future of healthcare. This potential for impact and innovation is why I earlier referred to Clover Health's AI as a "diamond mine."
As a word of caution, I just took very complicated and dense topics and combined them into a form that I hope is digestible for most people. The stuff above is incredibly complicated, and I probably missed a detailed explanation so please ask away if you have any questions or feel free to add your inputs in the comments.
Disclaimers: I forgot to mention this, but I do not want to influence your financial decision. I'm not giving you financial advice here. I like the way the CLOV has set itself up to be able to tackle the barriers of IRB, HIPAA and research and development for cheap via AI. I do invest in this company because I hope their model will be able to grow, and healthcare needs more competition like this instead of the insurtech that we keep seeing.

2024.03.22 22:59 ManufacturerBig4937 A few thoughts about Vinfast.

A few thoughts about Vinfast.
As I have some free time on the Friday, I decided to write some comparison about Tesla and Vinfast to help highlight some of the similarities between the two.
TRIGGER WARINNG: if you are hate Vinfast to the gut, this post is not for you. Feel free to scroll away. If you wish to engage to an intellectual debate, feel free to do that. I cannot guarantee to reply you all but I will do my best.
So, in this sub, you have read a lot about all the issue that Vinfast car has since they release the VF8 in the US and other models in Vietnam. In this post, I will focus on the VF8 issue and why Vinfast is going through what Elon Musk used to call it "The production hell" when he pushed to release the model 3.
First, some disclaimer that need to be done.
FULL DISCLAIMER, I have little to no knowledge about hardware design and manufacturing processes, so this is my 100% speculation using my common knowledge and reading about the topic. Please do no take anything I say about the hardware part at face value. Validate and verify. For software, I am currently working as the software engineer for a company that has the valuation rank top 25 in the world. So, I hope this can qualify me to talk about the software aspect of Vinfast car.
Lastly, I do not own any Vinfast stock and have no affiliation with Vinfast or Vingroup in any shape of form.
Now let talk about the boring stuff, Vinfast has a lot of issue with their car the VF8 when they first introduced in 2022, even though they have been actively to fix them, but there are many issues still persist today. I will group them into 2 categories which are software and hardware. For the software side, I will talk about the firmware level and the application level. For the hardware side, I will talk about hardware design and manufacturing process.
Let begin with the firmware, which is the foundation on how the car operate. In the automotive industry, all the car manufactures use something CAN bus, which stand for Control Area Network protocol, this protocol is the gold standard for the entire industry. By using this protocol, we will be able to control the drive drain, the brake system, the sensors on the car such as ultrasonic sensors, the camera, proximity sensor, gyroscope and etc. So why talking about this? This is where I suspect most of the issues that Vinfast has begun. In the car firmware design, there is a module which cam BMS, stand for Battery Management System, this module is crucial in the car for it to operate properly.

BMS high level architecture
From the high level design, you can see that this module is responsible for managing the SoC (state of charge) for the 12V battery in the car. As we all know, the 12V battery is the main source of power for all the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) in the car, when you get out of the car and lock it. What you essentially do is telling the whole system go to standby, and all the controller will switch to "sleep" stage and consume power as little as possible. But the system is still eating up the energy from the 12V battery; Therefore when the 12V battery charge fall below certain threshold and it is expected to be detected by the BMS, the BMS then send the command to ask the big pack battery to charge the 12V using the DC-DC converter. This process is commonly using in the auto industry. This is where our issue begging.
  1. What happens if the BMS failed to detect the 12V battery is going to die?
    1. The BMS failed to detect and the 12V battery will be depleted and the car cannot start until a jump start
  2. What happen if the BMS try to start the charge but the big pack batter failed to do so?
    1. the 12V battery will be depleted and the car cannot start until a jump start
  3. What happens if the DC-DC converter failed causing high voltage from the big pack battery go straight to the 12V battery?
    1. Your 12V battery is gone.
There are many thousand of other reason for the BMS can fail to function properly that cause the car to experience sudden death as many user has been reported.
Here is our first similarity between Vinfast and Tesla tesla model s 2012 12V battery die site:teslamotorsclub.com - Google Search . From this search filter, you can see many Tesla owner of 2012 Model S had issue with their issue with 12V battery. And Tesla start selling their Model S 2012 in June and they sold about 2650 units. But you can see many complains were raised in the forum. Moreover, you can find other manufacturers suffering the same problem such as Kia, Huyndai, VW, Nissan etc. This 12V issue has been a paint in the b-u-t-t for a long time in the industry because there are many points of failure with this design to charge up the 12V battery. If some minor thing going wrong, like you have not handle all the edge cases in your code, the BMS is not able to wake up to check up on the battery charge level due to another high priority task is running and keeping all the CPU resources, or the reading sensor give the faulty value, or the DC-DC converter was bad, all of these can cause this issue and result a non-functional car.
So, what can Vinfast do to improve it? From doing quick research in Vietnam, I can see them have been hiring for Embedded software engineer to handle the firmware better. Embedded Software Developers/Hardware Design Engineers at VinFast in Apr 2020 - ITJobs.com.vn . From the job description, you can see that they are using AURIX TCXXX chip for their system, whenever you use an off of the shelf component, you will run into the issue of defect units and optimization. Some chips can be defected and was not caught before using them in the system, which can cause the issue. Optimization is a long and expensive process to do, since you have to go through to understand and having working with all the small and different components to achieve the most optimal level of operation. As all the sensors and microcontroller are working within the range of micro seconds in term of time, and 6 to 7 decimal, you have very little room for error even with the level of tolerance. Therefore, to achieve the most optimal and stable firmware to control the car system, it will take time and money for the engineer working closely with the QA to improve the stability of the car firmware. That is why Steve Job had famously said if you are serious about software, then do the hardware yourself. That's what Apple and Tesla has been doing, vertical integration, Apple Silicon or Tesla own AI chip. But remember, at the beginning, Apple use Intel chip until the M1 chip, and Tesla also use off the shelf component until they have the capability to do their own hardware.
Next, let talk about the application level, which is the user interface, I do not have much to complain about this aspect. Vinfast has a very basic UX software, nothing is outstanding, many things that are needed to be improve like saving all the settings, apple carplay work more reliable, map can be more responsive, these are not crucial as the firmware level since it will not result in the dead of a car on the freeway. Again, it will take time and money for Vinfast to improve this, but I rather having them focus on optimize the firmware first.
Hardware design and manufacturing: I believe as many people of this sub pointed out, Vinfast did not design the car by itself. They outsource it to another company to do it so I am not sure if they are in control of 100% design decision. But we all know that they made a huge mistake when they underestimate how heavy their cars are when they put that 87.7kW battery in. This result the initial suspension work horribly, which cause a lot of complain about being car sick when take the ride on the Vinfast VF8. Moreover, the car also is too heavy for the front axil of the car which result the car has very high chance to have the front wheel broken. This issue seem to be addressed by Vinfast by enforced the front bolt to avoid such issue. Time will tell if their fix works. I am not mechanical engineer and have no idea on how to design hardware in the car.
Manufacturing: back in college, I work for a company as a technician to maintenance all the big machines for them, whenever we receive a new machine, we always have to work with their field engineer to calibrate their machines to our need. That process takes months if not years before that machine can be in stable stage to produce the good product without causing any catastrophic issue to the production line. As in Vinfast case, you can find the video on youtube about their factory, they have a lot of machinery to build the car, but transferring the knowledge on those machines and how to operate them, maintenance them is a shit ton of work. If you read the book about Elon, he talked about when he slept in the factory just to get the production going and he noticed a lot of problem when automation related to robot arm, machine is not calibrated correctly etc. These issue can delay or causing a lot of defect unit down the production line. If luckily, the defect will be caught and fix, but most of the time, the defect will slipped and go into the wild. Therefore, to have such a good and high quality production line like the model 3, Vinfast will need time and money to optimize there process and become more efficient.
Overall, Tesla model S in 2012 is similar like VF8 of 2022 and 2023, when they experience a lot of issue, which is a common problem for all the car manufacturers because as youtuber MKBHD has said that making a single car for show is easy, but mass production is a huge mountain to claim. Tesla 2012 problem tesla model s 2012 stop working site:teslamotorsclub.com - Google Search . Therefore, most of the people who buy the product from the new company are already aware of the risk, the problem of the product. But they are willing to take the chance. Usually, we call them early adopters. As any other company, there will be people who hate the product, the car for many reasons like politic, his or her personal belief, Vinfast is no exception for this. Some people like the car, some hate the car, but as long as Vinfast still operate in the US, I am happy for them because at least, they Vinfast bring a car that is known by the word "Made in Vietnam" or "Assemble in Hai Phong"
If they go bankrupt tomorrow, then it is ok, that's how capitalism work, bad company die to let good company live and grow. We will wait and see.
But do not assume all the Vinfast owner are Vinfan and communist. If you do that, it meant you assume Tesla early adopter are seeder, Tesla Fan etc. Normal people with their hard earn money will make their own decision to spend it. If they decide to get a Vinfast, it mean the deal or the car is good for them just like the couple in NC. They are happy with it so are you accuse them of being Vinfan? Or worse, you think they are not normal people? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjgx-XQ7YiFAxVrCTQIHYV1BH0QtwJ6BAgXEAI&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DQvEUASLOmrU&usg=AOvVaw1K5zqUfMKSiPa9mXCiJi97&opi=89978449

The Adware Mega Theory Part 3/5: The Adware’s History In The Smg4 Universe
Note: Due to the sheer length of this theory (all the sections of the script combined are a total of 22 pages for those of you wondering), I've decided to release it in a series of parts, and for those of you wondering what sections will go with each part, you'll find them below. Also, once I finish the finalization process for a part, the part will release shortly after, so expect a little bit of a gap between posts.
Part 1: Section 1:Introduction Section 2: Depresso's importance to the saga Section 3: The TRUE powers of the adware's control console Link in-case you haven't read it yet: https://www.reddit.com/SMG4/s/KfyFBYjeuH
Part 2: Section 4: The reasoning behind the adware's malicious intent in the latest smg4 episode Section 5: The adware's current plan Link for those who haven't read it yet:https://www.reddit.com/SMG4/s/uL6eqHlQFj
Part 3 (you're here): Section 6: What I believe the adware's history in the smg4 universe contains (outside of his backstory)
Part 4: Section 7: The backstory of the adware and Tari
Part 5: Section 8: Future predictions, who I believe is going to die, and the adware's true defeat Section 9: The new channel banner explained
Section 6: the adware's history in the smg4 universe:
Now I'm going to give a quick heads up here regarding this section. You see, this section is going to be the most speculative of the theory as we don't have an exact date that the adware started to observe the smg4 cast. However it's also the one I can be the most creative with as I have a lot of evidence that hints towards the idea of him watching the cast for a very long period of time in the smg4 universe. Finally, this section will be done through the form of a timeline of events, with important information relating to the adware being in the description of each event. Now with that disclaimer out of the way, let's start from the beginning.
Undefined dates before the year 2018: Backstory of The adware and Tari (this will be covered in section 7)
Mario and the ultimate gamer: While scrolling youtube one day, the adware sees a familiar face on a youtube video by someone called smg4. Intrigued due to seeing a very familiar girl, he watches the video and begins to become a fan of smg4. (Top left of image 2)(Note: I'll be explaining the adware's connection to Tari in section 7)
The rest of the waluigi arc: The adware, now a fan of smg4, watches the waluigi arc videos with each new upload, and despite there being a t-pose zombie apocalypse, he manages to stay safe.
Rapper Bob arc: the adware learns that the smg4 cast can turn on one another under the right circumstances (left upper middle of image 2), as well as just how far they'll go to assist one of their friends (left lower middle of image 2).
Anime arc: the adware now seems to enjoy smg4 so much to the point where he actually wants to be a creator of one of his own arcs or shows with the characters. He also takes an interest in Francis' tech (bottom left of image 2), as perhaps he could use its remains for one of his own shows (top right of image 2). He also learns more on how distrust among the smg4 crew can weaken them.
Youtube arc: the adware learns about smg3 and his villainous past (right upper middle of image 2). He also learns just how dangerous mario can be if his friends are threatened (right lower middle of image 2), as well as just how easy it can be to manipulate him (bottom right of image 2). This info is heavily important for later because his knowledge of smg3's past would explain part of as to why the static on Eggman's phone appears in the episode you used to be cool, as well as Eggman wanting smg3 to kill smg4 in order to be villainous again.
Genesis arc: The adware learns about how memes are the the essence of the smg4 universe (top left of image 3). This would explain why the adware would use the eldritch keyboard in IGBP as it doesn't use meme energy, which would make the meme guardian's powers useless against it. From watching Zero's actions in the 10 Year anniversary special, he learns that working from the shadows would be an effective strategy to get the cast to do his shows without them realizing it (left upper middle of image 3). He also learns just how much of a liability melony would be for his plans just by being involved, explaining why he tries to keep melony out of the majority of the saga’s events. He learns of one-shot wren's name for the first time. After watching mario is okay, he realizes that psychological methods would be a great way to keep the smg4 cast in the dark.
Uncanny Mr. Mario: the adware begins to start his plan by running a test on mario by manipulating Mr.incredible into putting mario into a simulation, from there the adware hacks into it as a rabbit like figure in order to see just how well psychological methods would work on mario (left lower middle of image 3), and he does so by using the knowledge he gained from the Genesis arc (bottom left of image 3), and, the results show that he was right about the psychological methods, as well as how much of a liability mario would be towards his plan of creating shows.
Revelations arc: the adware learns that the psychological methods he was testing with mario don't appear to completely work on melony (top right of image 3), which would result in him keeping melony out of his plans as much as possible. He also learns that the psychological methods that seem to be quite effective can create distrust among the cast as well as just how useful knocking the cast out would be towards his shows. This is mainly due to how effective the tear gas was when it was used during absolute betrayal (right upper middle of image 3).
The Cursed Tapes: the adware manipulates Morshu into giving Luigi the cursed Philips CDI (right lower middle of image 3), and from there he tries using his technological prowess while Luigi is is at the computer, and it works really well. He also gets further proof towards the effectiveness of manipulation and psychological tactics.
Clown fever: after seeing what happened to depresso at the end of the episode (bottom right of image 3), he recruits him as his assistant for his shows that feature the smg4 cast.
IMWTLMOE: The adware does what is arguably his biggest test yet as he begins to manipulate mario by creating an illusion of him being the last man on earth after his friends kick him out (an piece of evidence towards it being an illusion is shown in the top left of image 4), he then takes the form of a computer sometime afterwards to manipulate mario further (left upper middle of image 4), and it works as almost all his friends turn on him then and there (left lower middle of image 4), proving just how successful manipulation tactics are to the adware. (Note: the adware's involvement in IMWTLMOE seems to be somewhat soft confirmed due to a similar scene playing out at the end of smg4 and smg3 rank smg4 characters (bottom left of image 4)).
Lawsuit arc: the adware goes into hiding for a while as he examines the actions of lawyer kong and the cast. It's here that after seeing smg4 and meggy write a deal of sorts (top right of image 4), that he gets an idea that he can use for later, that being using deals to manipulate the cast in order to get the show he wants. He also gets proof towards his idea that seperating the cast can be an effective method towards executing his plans (right upper middle of image 4). Finally, he learns that using the dread, fears, and worries that smg4 has relating to his channel can be easily used against him (right lower middle of image 4), something which would be very important for his first show, it's gotta be perfect.
POV: You're mario: the adware communicates with the audience for the first time, that's it. No, seriously.
Don't hug me I'm mario: after mario and smg4 go into a McDonalds playplace the adware further tests psychological and manipulative tactics on them (bottom right of image 4), and like the other times it was used, it was quite a success.
Video ends when everyone stops watching: the adware learns about smg3's streaming gig and plants a virus onto his computer through a bogus windows pop-up (top left of image 5), and tests psychological methods on him to see if how he handles it is similar to that of the main cast, and once again it yields the same results. It's here that he also gets the idea of surveying the cast through a set of cameras in order to make it easier to create shows through manipulation (left upper middle of image 5).
All I want for Christmas is for Mario to freakin behave: the adware further tests turning members of the cast against each other and discovers that if just one member of the cast still trusts others, then the relationship between them can be repaired (left lower middle of image 5).
Mario goes to t-mobile to upgrade his data plan: sometime after mario opens the grand door (bottom left of image 5), the adware proceeds to trap it inside a keyboard to be used for his very first show with the smg4 cast, It's gotta be perfect (Note: unfortunately, I'm still currently unsure as to who created the keyboard that could have the power to seal an eldritch entity, perhapsit could've been the adware, but I am stillcurrently unsure, which is why I don't discuss the eldritch keyboard in section 7.)
We don't talk about Luigi: The adware further tests his manipulation and psychological tactics on mario (top right of image 5), and once again it works wonderfully.
Smg4... are you okay?: the adware uses the virus he planted on smg3's computer to get the video all the way to mr.yeast so he could do a collab with smg3 (right upper middle of image 5), and due to the knowledge he gained about smg4's insecurities regarding his channel, he knew that smg4 would ask to collab with mr.yeast and despite smg3 trying to help smg4 get that collab, mr.yeast declines to the idea of collabing with smg4, which then causes smg4 to go into a downward spiral before smg3 makes it worse before then helping him, and shortly afterwards, smg4 is now heading towards the state the adware wants him to be in, setting up future events.
MAR10 DAY: once smg4 exits his room and completely snaps the adware gets depresso to install his adware/altered desktop assistant program on smg4's computer (right lower middle of image 5) , and shortly afterwards, the adware executes his show plans for IGBP by showcasing the eldritch keyboard to smg4, and with smg4 now being completely vulnerable, he buys it.
IGBP stream: the adware has depresso constantly record smg4 over the course of multiple days, which occurs after the adware hacks into smg4's channel so the stream can be posted in the first place (bottom right of image 5). Depresso gets caught by smg4 near the end of the stream and the adware leaves a message at the stream's end for the viewer, asking them to take a peek at smg4's channel, where the trailer for his first show would be.
IGBP: the adware executes the whole plan for his show, and it went just as planned. The smg4 cast saved smg4 from his insanity, the castle was permanently destroyed, and smg4 let go of the perfect video he had created. All that was left now was to retrieve it for later use (top left of image 6).
Sometime after the events of IGBP: The adware retrieves smg4's perfect video from inside the chasm and uses it to power his control console (left upper middle of image 6), which would make the showgrounds, which would be a completely controlled environment that he could watch the cast from, and he begins his plans to lure the smg4 cast there.
Our new home: knowing that smg4 is looking for a place to rebuild the smg4 castle, he lists his plot of land known as the showgrounds on the real estate site that boopkins is using (left lower middle of image 6), and just as planned by him, smg4 buys the plot of land as he makes sure that smg4 keeps it for future events.
The very safe and legal SMG4 show: after the cast get the perfect idea of raising money through a circus act, the adware generates a crowd of people with his control console to attend it (bottom left of image 6). Originally the cast is unimpressed by their acts until melony does her's, which results in the adware turning the cast into coins so the smg4 cast has the money needed for furniture.
Every Luigi is personalized: the adware puts a mario 64.exe cartridge in the dumpster (top right of image 6), which leads to depresso summoning the characters in the cartridge through a porta-potty. From here the adware does yet another test on the crew on manipulation and turning them against one another. The test proves successful and the .exe characters leave the cast alone afterwards.
Mario opens a pizza shop: while the adware is observing the cast from his control console, he discovers that mario really wanted to open a pizza shop, and after the episode's events he gets an idea. If mario were to open a pizza shop, he could overwhelm him with an artificial crowd, and cause mario to generate a cardboard clone of himself that he could use to not only fund the castle, but to also use for a show he has been planning for later on, this show being wotfi 2023.
Mario harms the environment: as expected, mario wanted to create a pizza shop on the showgrounds, and he watches as mario gets the wood needed for building it, he hears a line from meggy about her idol, one-shot wren (right upper middle of image 6). It's here that the adware gets the idea for his second show: Western Spaghetti. All he had to do was do some research on where wren is, and get the tools needed to pull it off.
Sometime after mario harms the environment: when coming up with the idea for his next show, he remembers the test he did on mario in uncanny mr mario, and gets an idea. He could use the idea of the cast being trapped in a simulation for his next show, but he'd need to do more research on Wren first.
Sometime after the events of mario breaks the McDonalds ice cream machine: the adware finishes his research on one-shot wren and discovers that wren had fallen off some time ago, and he gets a new idea. He could use his idea of a simulation to give wren what he wants, that of which would be always being the one on top, then he could use wren to lure the cast to the location of his next show, Western Spaghetti. However he'd need to get the technology required to build the simulation.
Mario's tunnel of doom: while observing meggy training Tari and Luigi, and seeing the accident that mario got himself in (right lower middle of image 6), he gets another idea for his western spaghetti script. Considering wren would likely become addicted to his power and wouldn't let meggy go away that easily, wren would likely try to bring the simulation into the real world resulting in his death and the destruction of the tech to prevent the cast from figuring out who made the tech. He also realizes that the very familiar blue haired girl, could get the cast out of the simulation through her powers, and it's from this info that he finishes his script for his next show: Western Spaghetti.
Sometime after Mario's tunnel of doom: the adware figures out where he could get the technology needed from the simulation, that being the ruins of Anime Island, and so, he heads there to retrieve whatever scraps of the ink zuccer 2000 that he can find, and thankfully, there's more than enough to make his simulation for one shot wren, and knowing what wren likes, he decides that a western simulation would be the best idea.
Mario is fine: good news for the adware, Mario's pizza shop was now open for business, and with that being the case, the adware overwhelms him with a whole group of artificial customers (bottom right of image 6), and it's a success as mario needs help from his friends on what to do next, and boopkins and Bob think he needs a break, putting him into the pool so he can be with his thoughts. The adware however, used this moment to manipulate mario into creating marty after tormenting him for a moment (top left of image 7), and when marty shows up at the pizza shop, he has the crowd through all their money towards marty and the crowd grabs all the pizzas before running off. Sometime after this Luigi creates Lui, who would be a failsafe in case marty does something that the adware doesn't want him to do, as Lui would know how to help marty out of certain situations, and could tell cast members just by them touching him.
Sometime before the events of grand theft mario: with the simulation being finished, the adware has depresso deliver a letter to wren, which would give wren what he wanted, as long as wren would follow a series of directions that involves him getting the cast into his western spaghetti simulation, some of the adware's tech that he can use to do so, and in the adware's own words, put on a show (left upper middle of image 7). Wren being completely vulnerable at this time agrees to the terms, and starts planning out how he'd lure the cast into the simulation.
Sometime after the events of grand theft mario: wren sets up his plan for how he'd lure the cast into the simulation, and this would involve swiping meggy's beanie and handing it to a bunch of bullies that would be heading into the national celebrity museum , these bullies would lead meggy right to wren's vandalized statue. From there meggy would encounter an old crt tv that would show exactly where wren is located in the form of an advertisement (Left lower middle of image 7). From there meggy would bring the cast directly to his location, and wren would proceed to knock them out on the train and lock them into his simulation shortly afterwards, then he'd do whatever he wanted with the cast when they'd get inside it, while making sure he put on "the best show he could muster." He just had to wait for the right moment to do so.
We interrupt this broadcast: while wren is busy executing his plan, the adware knew that the funds mario had acquired would be used to start the new castle's construction (bottom left of image 7), and the remainder would be used for a "vacation" that the cast would go on, and just as both characters had planned, it goes beautifully as the cast heads towards the wild west via train.
Ready to ride: in the middle of the cast's train trip towards the west, the adware runs a test on something he had in mind for his third show, wotfi 2023, this of course was controlling members of the cast within the bounds of a specified area so they could do the atmosphere of his shows (top right of image 7), and the test works really well. However, Tari starts to notice that something is off (right upper middle of image 7). You see, I believe that Tari is unconsciously aware of some of the adware's powers, something of which that I'll be explaining in section 7. Anyways, at the episode’s end, the adware breaks the 4th wall to the viewers, telling them to look in the description. In the description would be a link to a gmod map that would give the viewers some clues as to who he is. You see, I believe that what is arguably the biggest flaw of the adware is his desire for attention, which would lead to him breaking the 4th wall as well as giving info about him to the viewers, this would of course would backfire in his face several months later after the events trash friends, which I've explained in an earlier section.
Sometime before Western Spaghetti: wren knocks the cast out with tear gas and gets them strapped into the simulation so wren could get the show on the road.
Western spaghetti: One-shot Wren puts on his show while the adware watches it all play out with baited breath, and it goes just as the adware had planned, as not only did Tari get meggy and the cast out of the simulation, but wren had acted exactly as the adware knew he would, as wren destroyed the evidence by bringing the simulation into the real world (right lower middle of image 7), and with the evidence gone and the castle's construction still going on, the adware could finish up his plans for his next upcoming show, wotfi 2023.
You made mario do this: it is at this time that the adware lays low for a while, watching the cast while making sure nothing goes wrong in the lead up towards his next plan, and when marty blocks off the castle, Lui lets smg4 know how marty truly feels (bottom right of image 7), and this act of Lui being a failsafe works wonderfully, in aiding the adware's future plans.
Some time before and let's go visit peach: late at night while the castle is still being built and sometime after the star arrives to finish the castle off, the adware decides that a good course of action would be to keep his storyboards for his shows behind a door in the castle (top left of image 8), which he then decides to board up so the cast doesn't learn what's behind it. He also puts a set of security cameras inside the castle, as well as putting a computer monitor with a broadcasting error in the boxes of furniture (left upper middle of image 8). Finally, he hooks up his control console to the very framework of the new castle so he can also make the castle itself a controlled environment.
The new castle: the adware's plan with the castle goes just about perfectly as nobody gets too suspicious about what he put into the new castle. However Luigi does question smg4 about the boarded-up door, and thankfully, smg4 shuts Luigi down about the door. All that's left now was to finish setting up his plans for his 3rd show, wotfi 2023.
Smg3's browser history: while examining the cast in the new castle, the adware learns that there's something he could use against smg4, that being his dirty little secrets (left lower middle of image 8), this is mainly because smg3 would do anything to keep his secrets hidden, and this would be the perfect way to get the cast to do his 3rd show. However he'd need to find some sort of belonging that smg3 has in order to pull this off.
The watermelon man: while the adware watches the cast once again, he decides to do another test with them, that being how they'd react to a strange monster picking them off, and the test results prove effective. He also learns about smg3's notebook for the first time (bottom left of image 8), but he'd have to learn more about the notebook's contents before starting his next plan. He also uses his applause button at some point to see how the cast reacts, and the results are complete confusion, meaning that he'd have to be cautious about when he'd use his console.
We don't talk about what happened in the elevator: the adware continues to watch the cast's behavior, and he learns a bit more about smg3's notebook, which makes him more curious about its contents. Shortly afterwards, he sees a video in his YouTube feed that peaks his curiosity, this of course being Snowtrapped, and he gains more info on smg4 and smg3 that could be used to get the cast into his next show.
Mario goes coo-coo crazy: the adware does a major test with mario, that being what he could possibly get mario to accomplish through insanity and a tiny bit of manipulation, and he realizes that mario can be quite the pain for the cast if he goes insane (top right of image 8). (Note: this info is important for the mario part of his plan in No TV Makes Mario No Okie Dokie, as it explains how he'd know how to deal with mario.)
SMG4 kids: the adware gets more curious about smg3's notebook, and what he could do with it before getting an idea for his plan, he could get the cast to unknowingly participate in his 3rd show by having a 3rd party take smg3's notebook, and cause the cast to go after them, which would lead to his 3rd show, but he'd need someone to pull this off. He could use marty, but marty can't do much without someone assisting him, so he starts contemplating who he could use.
Sometime before the lads play shrek online: the adware realizes that he could use mario to take smg3's notebook, and so after mario gets stuck inside shrek online, he hacks into the game in order to give mario a quest to "kill everyone" (right upper middle of image 8) and eagerly awaits the results.
The lads play shrek online: the adware turns on smg4 computer through the use of his control panel before heading to shrek online (right lower middle of image 8), and afterwards, he begins observing what smg4 would do about mario in this situation, and surprisingly he sees that mario blames smg3 for what happened (bottom right of image 8), and with this, he realizes that mario would be the perfect candidate for stealing smg3's notebook, all he needs to do is do some research on marty and what is going on with him at the moment.
Sometime after the events of the lads play shrek online: the adware does some research on Marty's current whereabouts and discovers that he recently opened up a casino called "Casino Paisano", and after looking a bit at the design of the place he realizes something, if smg3 and some members of the cast were to do a heist in the casino, they'd have multiple options of how to get 3's notebook (top left of image 9), meaning that the viewers could decide how the next show goes, and with this, he decides to save the information for later, and begins planning the rest of his 3rd show.
Smg4 and smg3 ate forced to hold hands: the adware continues watching smg4, smg3 and mario before discovering that smg4 would likely be of great assistance to smg3 finding his notebook, and when smg1 and 2 test them later in the video, he plays the instrumental wotfi 2020 theme from his console and his suspicions about how well smg4 and smg3 work together are confirmed (left upper middle of image 9), and his suspicions about smg3 doing whatever he can to protect his secrets are also confirmed. Sometime later he uses the virus that is on smg3's computer to see what else he can find out about his notebook, and he discovers that his notebook contains his club penguin password and a secret pizza recipe, perfect. With this info in hand, he now has all that he needs to start his plan.
Sometime before trust no one: the adware hacks into marty's fax machine, printing a fax that states that smg3's notebook contains the ultimate pizza recipe as well as his club penguin password. This would also have some interesting info about how they can hack into an smg4 stream (left lower middle of image 9) as well as a warning that smg3 would go after them after swiping the notebook. Marty eventually tells this info to mario, and they team up, with mario stealing smg3's notebook in order to appease his king.
Trust no one: mario proceeds to start stealing smg3's notebook before hiding it in a place that smg3 wouldn't look in, and while this is going on the adware hacks smg3's stream video data that occurred at the time mario went to steal smg3's notebook (bottom left of image 9). However, he makes sure not to delete the stream data from smg3's computer so smg4 and smg3 learn that it was mario who stole it, and so mario can also retrieve it. This is so smg3 would be filled with enough rage to go after mario and get the two into the location of the adware's next show. His methods of manipulation and turning the cast against one another are also proven yet again here as the build up for his next show goes off without a hitch as mario delivers the notebook to marty, and smg3 starts planning to get it back.
Sometime before you're going to help me and wotfi 2023: the adware gives smg4 an anonymous tip containing an insane amount of intel on not only where Mario took smg3's notebook but also the entire layout and BG info on it as well (top right of image 9).
The wotfi 2023 prep stream: just as the adware planned earlier, smg4 has the audience choose what choices they will make in the heist, and multiple times during it, mario and marty hijack the stream, one of these instances displaying an ad for marty merch, and another odd instance includes the info on the Snowtrapped question, of which, was intentionally placed by the adware in the building for the laughs (right upper middle of image 9). Eventually, the choices for the heist are decided and the adware waits to see if the audience was successful or not.
Wotfi 2023: just before the stream kicks off, the adware uses what he learned from the testing he did in ready to ride by having the inhabitants of the casino being controlled (right lower middle of image 9), except for marty and mario, because if they were controlled, it wouldn't have been entertaining for him. Throughout the episode, the adware watches everything while being excited throughout, and near the end he plays the wotfi rap theme that he had made in advance throughout the whole casino. Now something I should mention here is that we can hear meggy singing at one point despite her never popping up in the episode. Now my best guess for this is that when meggy mentioned seeing the adware's symbol before in western spaghetti (bottom right of image 9), it was referring to a possible deal she had with the adware which involved her singing some lines for a song that was in development by the adware, and by doing so, the adware would give meggy some assistance with her final assignment. Now, sometime after the wotfi song plays, smg4 and smg3 are successful in retrieving the notebook and afterwards, mario and marty are arrested, smg3 announces his new cafe, and most importantly, the adware shows himself to the audience and congratulates them on their choices, showing just how impressed he is by them, but before the video ends, he gives them a hint that they'll be seeing him again in the near future.
Super smg4 wonder: the adware, now unsure of who he should target next, decides to do some test runs with multiple characters to see who he should go after next for a future show, the first of these tests involved mario, as the adware would place a wonder flower in the middle of the castle before cutting the power (top left of image 10), and testing if mario was the best option to target. Unfortunately for the adware though, mario gets everything back to normal before saying that boopkins was fired from the show, which hinted towards him being targeted by the adware in the episode.
The Infestation: using the rat that mario brought into the castle in the prior episode, the adware gets his assistant depresso to use the rats that took him in against the cast to target Bob, mainly due to Bob's history with them (left upper middle of image 10), and once again, the plan fails and the adware tries to target someone else.
Smg3's Bomb cafe: this time the adware tries to target smg3, and despite this new idea of a plan failing, he does learn that smg3 has quite a bit of insecurities that come to the surface when he's struggling with his business (left lower middle of image 10), and he leaves a note about this for future use.
Mario goes on death row: this time the adware tries to target melony partially to see if he could confirm his idea about leaving melony out of his plans entirely, and his earlier suspicions were confirmed as melony failed to be his next proper target, but he does leave a sort of wink to the audience by having the two characters use a tv to play an ad, the tv in particular bearing a striking resemblance to the tv on his control console (bottom left of image 10).
The Inspection: the adware tries targeting smg3 once more, but in this instance he uses swag to perform an "inspection" on 3's coffee shop (top right of image 10), and smg3 of course panics and tries to hide all the bombs, but swag finds out anyways, and the demoman ends up taking the bombs with him after a fight with swag. Now this plan had also failed. However, the adware learned that 3 was seriously afraid of his coffee shop shutting down, and he would keep this in mind for later purposes.
Christmas Wars: the adware now has his sights set on targeting smg3 for his next show, and he takes the first step of executing his next show by looking for any flaws in smg4 and smg3's relationship, and he finds something major, if the two were fighting over things like a certain object or people's attention, then their relationship could be strained a bit (right upper middle of image 10), which would be useful for what he was planning for smg3.
Sometime before you used to be cool: this time the adware targets smg3 by using the knowledge he learned about smg3's past by manipulating Eggman into spying on smg3, as well as leaving some instructions on what to do if Eggman doesn't like what he finds, and just as planned, Eggman doesn't like what he sees, so he plans to confront smg3 and get him back into his evil ways.
You used to be cool: Eggman finally confronts smg3, and shows him what he saw through the camera footage on a tv (right lower middle of image 10), and afterwards he does everything he can to get smg3 to become villainous again, and it eventually works, and so Eggman does what the adware wanted him to do in the instructions, as he tells smg3 that in order to become a full-on villain once more, he has to kill smg4. Now this line would of course cause static to pop up on his phone (bottom right of image 10), giving a hint to the audience that the adware was involved here. This request of Eggman would cause smg3 to almost kill smg4. However, due to him failing to kill smg4, Eggman loses it and is sent off into space shortly afterwards, resulting in the adware's 3RD ATTEMPT at targeting smg3 to fail, which leaves the adware a bit pissed because he had almost gotten smg3 to become vulnerable, but he wouldn't put matters into his own hands, yet...
CEO OF RIZZ: this time the adware tries an indirect way of targeting smg3. This was done by starting a rent a girlfriend contest which would lure boopkins to the contest, and the adware would let him win. In theory, this would cause boopkins to panic after learning that he won the contest (top left of image 11) and that it would be on live TV, causing him to head towards smg3 to get help for his date. However smg3's advice wouldn't work as boopkins would not only fail the date miserably, but would also realize that he failed a date with his own idol hatsune miku. (Note: I believe that the miku we see in the episode was artificially created by the adware's control console because we never see her again afterwards.) As a result, smg3's coffee and bombs would suffer greatly financially, causing smg3 to become vulnerable. Now at first, the plan is working wonderfully as boopkins is about to fail the date with hatsune miku, and a now desperate smg3 is looking for some kind of a last resort online, and the adware intentionally sabotaged this last resort by showing a series of ads on smg3's phone (left upper middle of image 11), one of which contained advice from Andrew Tate, and smg3 of course used it, and this results in an almost complete failure for boopkins. However, smg3 manages to convince miku to give boopkins another chance, and it's here that boopkins manages to succeed in the date with miku. This leaves the adware incredibly pissed because his now 4th attempt at targeting smg3 failed, and so he decides to do a last resort of sorts that would in theory, MAKE SURE SMG3 WAS TARGETED. This would be done by using his control console to make sure that almost nobody would show up to smg3's cafe (left lower middle of image 11), but before I continue I should explain something. You see, I believe that the customers at 3's coffee shop are actually artificial instead of actually being proper characters, and it's possible due to the showgrounds being a completely controlled environment. This would also explain how smg3's cafe was able to lose so many customers in a short period of time, because if they all are artificial, then removing them would easily destroy the profits of 3's business establishment over a short time period, causing him to become desperate for ANY customers, and for some added evidence on top, the next episode specifically has a line at the bottom of the screen saying that smg3's coffee shop is basically suffering (bottom left of image 11), hinting that the adware was the one who made this decision.
Smg4 news: during this episode it seems that the adware's choice to remove smg3's customers artificially has worked excellently because now smg3 is so desperate for any kind of customers to the point to where he interrupts smg4 news without warning just to advertise his cafe (top right of image 11), and to make things even better for the adware, smg4 and smg3's relationship is starting to strain, and at the end, smg3 straight-up sends the news station into a black hole, and the previously pissed adware is now starting to cool down. Unfortunately for him though, this wouldn't last, but despite this, the adware starts planning for what he'll be doing next when it comes to targeting smg3, and he has the perfect idea.
Sometime before trash friends: After some thinking, the adware comes up with the perfect idea, considering smg3 is so desperate for any way of getting customers, he could create a video and put it on a usb that would get smg4 endorsed by Michael Jordan, causing a lot of people to come towards his location, and smg3 would get jealous from the fact that smg4 has a usb containing a Michael Jordan endorsement, and in theory, he would then try to steal it so his cafe would get endorsement instead. However, the usb instead contains an endorsement for a snail named Mikel Jorden (right upper middle of image 11), this would cause smg3's cafe to forcibly shut down from a snail infestation, leading smg3 to believe that smg4 had swapped his original endorsement, with a fake one. This would generate hate in smg3 towards smg4, causing him to become completely vulnerable to the adware. It was the perfect plan, and he commences it by sending the endorsement directly to smg4. All he has to do now is wait.
Trash friends: the adware fully commences his near perfect plan, but something doesn't go as planned. You see, the adware doesn't know that smg4 can be a complete klutz sometimes (right lower middle of image 11), and smg4 was just like that when walking around with his usb, because the usb had conveniently landed on a plate of spaghetti headed right for the dump. However, to the pleasure of the adware, smg4 would decide to get smg3 and mario's help to get the usb back, and smg3 acted exactly how the adware thought he would. Move some time forward and it looks like smg3 is about to bring the usb back to his cafe without smg4 realizing it, but once again, something out of the adware's control happens, that being mario moving out of smg3's hat because of how bad he smelt (bottom right of image 11), which would lead to smg3 venting out every last one of his recent frustrations to smg4, and smg4 ends up forgiving him and lets him use the usb. Even worse for the adware is that smg4 came back to smg3's cafe with smg3, meaning that when they would realize that it was for a snail named mikel jorden, smg3 wouldn't be near as angry at smg4 than he would've been otherwise, and despite smg3's cafe shutting down due to a snail infestation, he still somehow manages to prevent himself from becoming vulnerable to the adware.

2024.03.05 05:22 Conscious-Section840 USAA incorrectly sent my car to a salvage lot/ lost my car for a few months and now I have a salvage on my VIN report and can't sell my vehicle

Disclaimer that this is the first vehicle I've ever owned and Im young and have very little experience with dealing with insurance since I've never been in any accidnets so I dont really know what I'm doing.
Long story short I had a coolant leak that I thought was caused by hitting a pot hole in October of 2023. USAA arranged for a tow truck to come get my vehicle and then my case was mishandled with poor communication until my car was returned toward the end of January 2024. During that time I found out that my car had been incorrectly marked as a "possible total loss" and sent to a salvage yard 3 hours from my home to be evaluated. That report came back as "no damages found". I called to ask insurance how that was possible and then upon figuring put that it had been incorrectly sent there and evaluated for the wrong things they eventually had it transfered to a repair shop and then it was returned to me unfixed since it turned out to be a bad water pump. I argued back and forth with insurance about waiving my deductible ( before i knew it was the water pump and it wasnt going to be fixed) since they had lost my car twice during this process and never communicated with me over the 3 ish month that my car was gone (I had to call repeatedly over the course of weeks and reach out on social media to figure out where my car was even being stored among other issues.). They assured me that the salvage yard didn't do anything to my car and that since they offered a rental that there would be no compensation other than an apology for the improper care (over phone not in writing) and that they had discussed it with the adjuster.
My car was returned with a few minor damages like a new ding in the door and my hood supoort stick (what ever it's called) was ripped out and just laying in the clasp for it not connected to anything The insulation on the bottom side of my hood had been ripped up where someone clearly shoved the stick into it repeatedly because they didn't know where to put it. I didn't take before pictures and since it had been months since I'd had it and it had been with 3 different towing companies, a salvage yard and a repair shop during that time I was told I didn't have sufficient evidence of who was responsible so I just ate the damages since they weren't major and I was tired of dealing with it.
It's now March 2024 and I'm looking to sell my car. I got an offer online from carmax and took it in only for them to inform me that they can't follow through on their original offer of 11k and can only offer me 5k due to the fact that my car was marked as salvaged in October of 2023 and said I should have disclosed that. I had absolutely no idea that it was marked as a salvage vehicle so I didn't think to check my car fax before going in since my grandmother bought it new and I'm the only other person to own it.
I'm now wondering 1. How do I get this fixed since it was never actually a salvage car and it was a mistake from my insurance? 2. Since it was marked as a salvage vehicle and sat with them for around 2 months, how can I be sure that I don't have other damages/ different parts in addition to the few damages I've found? And 3. If I do have other damages how would I go about proving that it happened at the salvage yard and what would I be able to do about it as far as being compensated for the loss of value?
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any advice!

Update: I called USAA and was rerouted to the same adjuster. He said that he can't see anywhere where USAA marked it as a total loss and that I needed to call Lexus nexus myself to ask them to take it off. I tried calling them but I think their phone lines were being buggy since it was just silence with no waiting music and no one picked up after 40 minutes of waiting (yes I hung up and tried calling again but it was silence both times) so I called the salvage yard that had my car. They said they didn't mark it as a salvage and that usaa hardly communicated with then until the week that I was finally told it was there. They said that they did not have it marked as a salvage on their end and that it just sat in a lot while they waited for usaa to get back to them. They said that they wouldn't have even been able to mark it as a total loss on their own and that USAA would have to have done it. When my car was lost I had to reach out to the customer advocates through USAA'S social media so I reached out again and was told that they're very concerned and escalating it to the proper channels. That was this afternoon. We'll see if that actually means anything tomorrow I guess but so far so far I've made no progress and no one is saying that they did it or giving me useful advice on how to fix it.
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any advice!

The challenge of finding continuity appears to be resolved
Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - February 14, 2024) - Seabridge Gold (TSX: SEA) (NYSE:SA) today announced that 2023 drill results at our wholly owned 3 Aces project in Canada's Yukon have successfully confirmed the key parameters controlling gold deposition on the property and provided a clear set of directions for follow-up evaluation and resource delineation. Last year's program completed 7,759 meters of core and reverse circulation drilling within the Central Core Area of the 3 Aces project.
An updated 3-dimensional model has now been built that brings together results from our drilling and historical drill programs to indicate the likelihood of continuous mineralization between previously isolated historical deposits in the Central Core Area (CCA). Our 2023 drill program confirmed these extensions of historical discoveries, including localized high-grade zones, within the favorable parts of the regional fold architecture. At contacts between thick phyllite sequences and coarse interbedded sandstone and conglomerate, second generation folding (F2) has produced discrete dilation zones on F2 synforms and antiforms where continuous gold mineralization and locally high-grade intervals are found.
Commenting on this year's program, Rudi Fronk, Seabridge Chairman and CEO, noted "previous operators encountered challenges connecting and extending target zones in the CCA. Our team's comprehensive and detailed work has recognized controls that appear to have resolved this continuity issue. This year's breakthrough now gives us the tools to identify additional promissing targets and expand known gold zones at 3 Aces. We now see a path for bringing the property's extensive gold mineralization into resource configurations."
Drill testing in 2023 was completed around the historical Spades, Hearts, and Clubs zones. Detailed surface and drill hole observations have provided better control on the stratigraphy and location of the F2 structures. Gold concentrations are found consistently in the F2 structures. Where these fold structures encounter the significant competency differences between phyllite and sandstone, open spaces are created through dilation of the rock mass, providing a trap for the deposition of gold-bearing massive quartz veins or quartz-arsenopyrite breccia. These fold features are also recognized outside of the preferred stratigraphic contact, but generally contain narrower intervals at lower gold grades. Following these marginal grade fold features toward stratigraphic contacts is expected to lead to new discoveries.
While the stratigraphic contact and F2 structures remain the principal control on gold concentrations, we continue to evaluate other potential traps in the system.
Select drill results from the 2023 program include:

Results reported herein are estimated to be 80% or better of true widths for the targeted feature, having been constrained by the stratigraphic section defined on the property.
Rigorous quality control/quality assurance protocols were used in this drilling program, consisting of blind blank, duplicate and certified reference standards inserted in the sample submissions. Assays were preformed by Bureau Veritas laboratory in Vancouver BC with all intervals being analysed by 50g lead collection fire assay fusion and 35 element ICP-EM. Select intervals are reanalyzed using 500g samples screened through 150 mesh screens producing fire assays for the coarse fraction and fine fraction with gold reported for both fractions and the total of the sample.
Exploration activities on the 3 Aces project are being conducted under the supervision of William E. Threlkeld, Registered Professional Geologist, Senior Vice President of the Company and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. 2023.12.29 00:30 PaddlingUpShitCreek Response from Kroll, Analysis, and Next Steps

Response from Kroll, Analysis, and Next Steps
On 12/21/23, I sent an email to Kroll and several other parties asking how claims are managed and to what extent claims of substantial value are vetted, emphasizing the claims from Jason Coggins and Brandon Meadows. For background, I made a post about that email here. I received a response from Kroll yesterday afternoon, wherein they albeit absolve themselves of having any responsibility concerning the validity of claims, despite being the claims and noticing agent of BBBY's bankruptcy case. Instead, Kroll stated in their reply claims are reviewed and reconciled by the Plan Administrator. Before I go any further, here is the text from Kroll's email for readability, followed by a full screenshot of it:
Thank you for your email.
Kroll, as the claims and noticing agent, does not determine the validity of claims or the validity of objections to claims. Rather, claims will be reviewed and reconciled by the Plan Administrator, and only Holders of Allowed Claims (as defined in the confirmed Plan) will receive distributions in accordance with the terms of the confirmed Plan.
For information regarding the Chapter 11 proceedings, please visit: https://restructuring.ra.kroll.com/bbby/
PLEASE NOTE: Kroll is the appointed claims and noticing agent for Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. and 73 affiliated debtors’ Chapter 11 cases. As such, Kroll is not permitted to provide legal or financial advice. Further, Kroll is not permitted to accept claims via email or fax, and any such information provided via either of these methods will not constitute a claim in these proceedings.
Regards,

Michael Goldberg was identified as the plan administrator on or around 09/07/23 per Page 7 of Docket Item 2133, whose identity was discussed in greater detail on 09/11/23 in Page 6 of Docket Item 2161.

Kroll's response begs the question; who was responsible for reviewing the validity of claims prior to the appointment of the plan administrator? This is important because Jason Coggins' $500M claim and Brandon Meadows' first claim for $1B surfaced on 05/22/23 and 07/14/23, respectively. I will dig into more filings into the coming days to try and trace which parties should have seen these claims in the ordinary course of business and what processes were involved. Also, I'll obviously be putting an email together to Michael Goldberg while keeping the parties on my original email copied. In the meantime though, I wanted to get this out to the community for input and suggestions regarding any key docket references, arguments, etc. that ought to be included in my forthcoming response.

2023.12.28 16:09 mrshunter79 Possible violation

I would like to know if faxing an order to the wrong provider is a HIPPA violation? I work in HIM and we do a whole lot of faxing. Recently some of my coworkers have accidentally sent wrong orders to the wrong provider. Most of my coworkers believe that it is not a violation because of the disclaimer on our fax cover sheet and that it is going to another health care facility. Another reason why they believe that it is not a violation is because some of the fax numbers that we have listed for the provider is incorrect or because the Nurses have the wrong ordering provider listed.

2023.12.25 10:27 naurr3 Anyone familiar with Microgendx?

Anyone familiar with Microgendx?
Hello, this is my first time posting here (25 F). I've been dealing with bladder issues for around 6 months now. Some doctors think it's OAB, while others have been treating me for UTI. After several rounds of antibiotics which did not help, I took the MicroGenDX UTI test, and I've attached my labs. Can anyone help me understand what the results mean? Is the report complete? I have seen other reports on this forum and mine doesnt include "Level 2" or "antimicrobials for consideration". I've heard lab reports usually include percentages, but mine doesn't. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
