Hi, I have been independently developing a unique theory of etymology that is based in part on an expanded view of Onomatopoeia to include non auditory elements (shapes and movements of the tongue and and lips) as forms of “micro-gesture” signaling. This is sometimes referred to as sound symbolism: This means that certain letters may have “built in” associated meanings, which to me are tied to the physiological components of making a letter sound…
I believe that at the core of etymology are the physiological properties of the production of making a sound. For example, when we articulate the letter p, there is pressure built up and then a sudden release. Many words with p have to do with pressure, pulsating, and expulsion. For example spray, spread, spill, expel, explode. In my view the letter P’s “essence” is inherently at the core etymological meaning (within and across languages). While this may sound esoteric, in my opinion this is a highly logical system. Other non traditional “onomatopoeia” ideas explored have been discussed by plato. For example, Plato wrote that the letter i may represent small things. He also wrote that the letter O may represent round objects; in English the words oval and orbit can fit into this paradigm.
I have a lot to discuss and share and am wondering what would be the best platform for this? I also just started a YouTube channel with a small number of videos. Where could I introduce myself and my ideas? Can I post a link to my YT channel or videos here?

TL;DR: is “My Tears Ricochet” a letter from Taylor AND the Gaylors to Taylor™️?
I am a baby Gaylor (but all in and full fledged) and this is my first genuine post to this community. Please forgive me if this has been done before!
Throughout the rollout and processing of TTPD, I was inclined to go back through Folkmore. As a pansexual who was in a closet surrounded by fundamentalists on all sides for much of life, I CANNOT believe these albums are just “fictional stories”. There are a lot of songs on both albums that seem to back this theory up (IMO), but the lyrics that I really wanted to focus on are those of “My Tears Ricochet.”
“We gather here, we line up weeping in a sunlit room” - This is, at face value, the obvious imagery of a funeral. I believe this is the funeral of real Taylor being laid to rest by Taylor™️ after the failed coming out of 2019.
“And if I’m on fire, you’ll be made of ashes too”
 - Real Taylor is telling Taylor™️ that, even she stays in the closet forever, it will always affect Taylor™️ since they’re always going to be interwoven together by the very nature of humanity.
“Even on my worst day, did I deserve babe All the hell you gave me Because I loved you, I swear I loved you Until my dying day”
“I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace”
 - To me, this really sounds like real Taylor admitting that she’s allowed herself to be seen minimally and couldn’t be completely silenced because that is her TRUE self. She can’t “gracefully” keep her true, queer self completely quiet.
“And you’re the hero flying around saving face”
 - I think the ‘hero’ is Taylor™️ (and possibly a layered reference to Tree) and all the PR damage control after all the various scandals (Kissgate, all the bearding/PR relationships that were ultra flimsy, etcetera) to keep the public eye from speculating TOO MUCH (except for Gaylors, of course lol)
“And if I’m dead to you why are you at the wake?”
 - Real Taylor here is referring to the 2019 failed coming out as her “death” and Taylor™️ still being at the funeral for real Taylor could symbolize all the queer flagging she continues to ramp up for us to see, even after the failed coming out.
“Cursing my name, wishing I stayed, look at how my tears ricochet”
 - I think this is real Taylor expressing regret and disappointment that she didn’t go through with coming out in 2019 anyway, despite the masters fiasco. The decision to use the word “ricochet” seems very intentional to me, as we know our girlie likes to be meticulous. The actual definition is that of a projectile object striking a surface and bouncing off of it to land on a different surface (paraphrasing). I think she’s referring to the pain of not being able to come out being shared and felt by all the Gaylors/fans that were let down by the failed event of 2019. She’s acknowledging that other people beside her were hurt by it and making sure Taylor™️ and the team know that.
“We gather stones, never knowing what they’ll mean; some to throw, some to make a diamond ring”
 - I think the stones represent all of her Easter eggs. The “stones to throw” would be all of the red herrings and the stones to “make a diamond ring” would represent all of her flagging for those she knows understand them.
“You know I didn’t want to have to haunt you but what a ghostly scene”
 - Real Taylor musing that she wouldn’t be still dropping all the clues and eggs from Taylor™️ for her supportive Gaylors if she had been able to come out in 2019.
“You wear the same jewels that I gave you as you bury me”
 - I think the jewels represent all of the new fans and exposure that Taylor™️ received during her public allyship through the rollout of Lover leading up the failed coming out. Taylor™️ has been able to keep most, if not all, of those things - even after the failed coming out.
“I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace because when I’d fight you used to tell me I was brave And if I am dead to you, why are you at the wake? Cursing my name, wishing I stayed Look at how my tears ricochet”
“And I can go anywhere I want Anywhere I want, just not home”
 - Real Taylor is alive and well in the hearts and minds of the Gaylors and she knows that, but “home” could represent the merging of her true identity with the brand, bringing congruency to her existence. In this case, it’s the one thing that hasn’t been able to happen.
“And you can aim for my heart, go for blood But you would still miss me in your bones”
 - No matter how much Taylor™️ has tried to shut out real Taylor, real Taylor cannot be completely silenced because it is her true identity.
“And I still talk to you, when I’m screaming at the sky And when you can’t sleep at night, you hear my stolen lullabies”
 - To me, this seems like a direct reference to the stolen masters. The phrase “stolen lullabies” feels so specific and that event is what is largely speculated to be what derailed her coming out.
“I didn’t have it in myself to go with grace So the battleships will sink beneath the waves”
 - This is not the only time that Taylor refers to “ships beneath waves”. I can specifically reference the intro to “Gold Rush” where she mentions “hearts are sinking ships”. I would love it if someone else had some references from other lyrics or if there’s any other lore out there already regarding “ships” that I’m missing, but it stood out to me for sure.
“You had to kill me, but it killed you just the same”
 - Even though Taylor™️ determined it was better for the brand to cancel the coming out, this could still be the pain of loss that Taylor feels for the missed out trajectory that WOULD have been Taylor™️ following Karma and the coming out.
“Cursing my name, wishing I’d stayed You turned into your worst fears”
 - Taylor regretting that she stayed in the closet, likely realizing she compromised on something so precious to her.
“And you’re tossing out blame, drunk on this pain Crossing out the good years” 
 - This is a pretty good reach here (🤡) but I can’t get out of my head that this could even reference the long-suspected drunken liking-spree she went on after Kissgate, was either forced to undo all of that the next day (or came to her closeted senses 😫) and felt like she was “crossing out the good years” that she could be enjoying the full freedom of being her full self in the open during the prime of her life.

FIRST HOUSE
While the words; are a manner of speech there might be less confusion if they were replaced with "present": The first house shows how we present as an individual. This presentation includes attitude, physical health, demeanor and appearance, among other things.
The first house is much more than how we strike out as an individual. It can actually show a ‘wait and see attitude’. If a passive sign is on the ascendant or the ascendant ruler in a passive sign there will be less ‘striking out’ and more withdrawal or cautious approach to life.
With other factors such as the house location of its ruler and aspects to the ascendant, the first house shows temperament style and general attitude to life, which may be nothing akin to Mars or Aries.
The odds are only one in twelve that the sign on the ascendant will be Aries and the wide scope of other possible expressions cannot all be described as Arian or Martian.
Neither should we restrict the red planet to its daytime domicile of Aries. It is also the nocturnal ruler of Scorpio although this is rarely considered or understood.
Associating Mars with the first house also ignores the other two planets which have a connection to this house.
The first is Mercury, which has its joy in the first house. The joys of the planets is a worthwhile study of its own.
Mercury has a natural association with the brain and head and this correlates well with the association of the first house with the head.
Mercury is also associated with speech and communication.
Mars has no natural association with the head or brain, unless you are thinking of using your head as a battering ram!
In the system of planetary joys Mars is placed in the sixth house of injuries and sickness, a place where it is at home.
The first house straddles the boundary between day and night which is an apt fit for adaptable Mercury as the go-between.
Saturn also has a first house association because this is where the soul is entrapped within the body as it incarnates. Saturn is the natural ruler of doorways and the first house is the soul’s doorway into physical life. The eighth house of death is the exit doorway, also associated with Saturn.
SECOND HOUSE:
Yes Taurus is about stability and physical comforts and pleasure, but has little to do with money itself. Venus, the planet which rules Taurus, is about the comforts that money can buy, the adornments and beautiful things. But money itself is represented by Mercury, the natural ruler of exchange and financial dealings. Mercury does the buying and Venus does the enjoying. Venus does not represent money; that is Mercury’s domain.
Jupiter the planet of wealth and prosperity, has a natural association with the second house. In the Chaldean order of the planets Jupiter follows Saturn. Saturn is associated with the first house, Jupiter with the second house.
THIRD HOUSE:
It is understandable that, at first glance, the third house would seem to have an association with Gemini and Mercury.
However in previous generations it was clearly understood that the third house was the house of the "goddess", and the Moon had a special relationship with this house.
In horary astrology the Moon is frequently seen as conveying messages between other planets in its role as ‘the translator of light’. Among the seven classical planets it is the fastest moving body, linking planets as it aspects one and then to another. This sequential linking is very significant in questions about communication, linking people together, or the movement of goods. In this latter respect it also has an association with transport.
FOURTH HOUSE:
Historically the 4th house is associated with foundations and property, the land, deep roots, mines and wealth from under the ground.
Compare these fixed traits to that most fluid and movable of planets: the Moon. This is not a good fit. The changeable Moon is much better suited to the busy comings and goings of the 3rd house.
In the ancient model of the “4 Ages of Man” the IC is associated with the winter of our lives. Yet in the northern hemisphere where Western astrology arose the Sun passes through Cancer at the height of summer. Neither is the 4th house a good fit for Cancer.
Historically the 4th house is associated with the father, not the mother.
FIFTH HOUSE:
The Sun is the supreme ‘Commander-in-Chief’, the symbol of might and mastery, power, truth, light and enlightenment. The superior planets genuflect and step backwards in retrograde motion when they come face to face in opposition with the Sun, and all the planets disappear in his blinding light when in conjunction with the Sun.
The fifth house is the house of fun and frivolity, parties pleasure and entertainment. In a sense this is the most superficial of houses and is in no way deserving as the home of the Lord of the Heavens.
The Sun represents so much more than parties, children, pleasure and sporting games. The importance of these activities pales into insignificance when faced with the majesty of his presence. In many religions and spiritual systems the image of god or the force which guides the universe has a solar representation.
To suggest that the Sun is restricted to the rulership of the house of fun and creativity is to diminish his great power and demonstrates a profound misunderstanding of his role in the heavens and in astrological interpretation.
In the diagram above describing the joys of the planets we see that the Sun rejoices in the ninth house, the house of higher learning, spirituality, and the search for the ultimate meaning of life. The joys of the planets describe places where planets are most comfortable and ‘feel at home’. The Sun is much more comfortable than in the ninth house of spirituality than in the fifth house of frivolity.
Neither is Leo a good fit for the fifth house as it is regarded as a barren sign because of its dryness. The 5th has long been known as the house of sex procreation and children. In horary astrology in questions of fertility and in electional astrology when choosing a suitable time for conception Leo on the ascendant or on the fifth house cusp is generally avoided because of its association with infertility and sterility.
To link the sign associated with barrenness with the house associated with fertility and creativity shows a misunderstanding of basic astrological principles.
SIXTH HOUSE:
Confusions relating to the meaning of the sixth house are worthy of an article on its own.
The association with work in the sense of career or profession can be attributed to a misreading of Lilly where he refers to the 6th house as the house of service. He was actually referring to servitude and servants.
The modern equivalent are the working poor doing menial jobs, in the service of another. There has never been, at least until recent times, a sense that the 6th house is associated with anything resembling a career. Historically this is, among other meanings, the house of slaves. While perhaps there are few real slaves in the Western world, the unskilled worker going from job to job is a close equivalent. These workers are typically more lacking in skills, rather than being skilled.
Going back to the objection mentioned above that Virgo is focused I am not sure how focus is a noteworthy trait of the sixth house, or even that Virgo is especially focused. Virgo is after all a double-bodied sign. Scorpio Aries and Capricorn also have some claim to being focused.
It is more common for people to confuse the sixth house with Virgo because of Virgo’s association with health. However the sixth house is not the house of health; that honour belongs to the first house. The sixth house is the house of ill-health and also injuries, the opposite of health. The preoccupation with exercise and diet typically associated with Virgo is better explained by the combination of the dry earth qualities of Virgo when combined with its discerning ruler: Mercury.
It is the first house which is the house of life and health and vitality. Mercury rejoices in this house and is much more comfortable here than in the sixth house of sickness and injuries.
It is Mars which rejoices in the sixth house. It is of course the minor malefic and is well suited to the house where the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune beset us all from time to time. Incidentally in mundane astrology the sixth house is associated with the military which has an obvious connection with Mars.
SEVENTH HOUSE:
Yes the seventh house is about relationships of all types. As well as amorous relationships and contractual business type relationships, also included are adversarial relationships with open enemies and those involving a sporting or other type of contest.
Relationships involving open conflict can hardly be confused with the graciousness associated with Libra or the pleasantness associated with Venus. These relationships could better be described as Martian. As the enemy rides over hill towards you, rifle at the ready with bayonet attached, Venus is nowhere to be seen. These situations are better described by Mars. So should we associate Aries and Mars with the seventh house, as well as Libra and Venus? The logic is similar. It should not be ignored that the seventh house is as much about engagement with the enemy as it is with the lover or friend.
The seventh house is about ‘the other’ we engage with, for whatever reason, whether it be the terrorist or the lover, the violent bully or the loving spouse. The relationships associated with the seventh house can be associated with love or hate. The seventh house is primarily about the people we engage with, and the type of engagement cannot be restricted to just Venus or Libra. The planet which usually best describes the type of engagement is the one ruling the sign on the seventh house cusp or a planet conjoining the descendant.
EIGHTH HOUSE:
The confusion concerning the eighth house is connected both with the adoption of Pluto as Scorpio's modern ruler and the adoption of the '12 letter Alphabet'; system by some astrologers. In the 12 letter Alphabet, invented by Zip Dobyns, the meaning of the houses planets and signs are merged. For example the eighth house, Scorpio, and Pluto are seen to have a similar theme, referred to as an archetype. Pluto's association with transformation and regeneration and Scorpio's association with sex are both transferred to the eighth house.
However the eighth house is the house of death. While it's true that some astrologers have associated the eighth house with sex because sexual orgasm is sometimes called ‘the little death, the purpose of sex is to procreate, to bring life into the world, not death.
Previous to the modern era the eighth house was not associated with sex. This modern confusion is perpetrated by a misunderstanding of the primary functions of the houses. Sex is a fifth house matter. Death and bringing life into the world are opposite things. One should not be confused with the other.
I have often heard it said that death is only one form of transformation and somehow this justifies assigning transformation as a core meaning for the eighth house, which in turn validates Scorpio’s and Pluto’s association with the eighth house.
It is ironic that Pluto's mythical association with rape is rarely mentioned in conversations about eighth house sexual activity.
The tangled web of confusions associated with the interchange of Scorpio Pluto and the eighth house is mind boggling and really does take us a long way from the real meaning of the eighth house. Followers of the 12 Letter Alphabet system associate intimacy with the eighth house because of its new association connection with Pluto.
The core meanings of the eighth house have to do with death in the physical and real sense; fear and loss; the resources of those we engage with, and inheritance.
The eighth house is not a particular pleasant place no matter how much we might like to romanticize it or give it a positive spin. The sign on the cusp of the eighth house and the planet which rules that sign are what is relevant in any type of astrological interpretation of the 8th house.
NINTH HOUSE:
We tend to liken Jupiter to philosophy and religion and the attribution of Jupiter to the 9th House fits fairly well. (Jupiter is also the planet associated with the Ninth in the wheel of houses that begins with Saturn as the First.) The Ninth was the place of the “Sun God” in ancient astrology and was strongly associated with public religious practice; yet, like the Third, it was also associated with dreams, prophecy, and divination. The Ninth House being associated with higher education or long journeys is a later addition.
The planet in joy in the Ninth House is the Sun and, for a place that is cadent, the Ninth gets a lot of sunlight and the Sun can be happy here. It also fits well with the deification of the Sun’s power in many cosmologies and religions throughout history. It may also conform to the image of Sun as a planet of higher intellect, as the light of reason.
TENTH HOUSE:
Astrologers after my lifetime or yours will look at this affiliation with bewilderment. Archetypally mixing the House of career, reputation, and fame to Saturn and Capricorn is itself enough to throw out the entire Twelve Letter Alphabet system.
You might retort, “But it’s the place of one’s boss!” I answer that there are many kinds of bosses and they’re not all oppressive. The dimensions of leadership and mentorship – solar and not saturnine factors – are prominent Tenth House factors.
The 10th is the traditional place of one’s “action” – career, calling, fame and reputation. I include a larger sense of “vocation”, so that if you work retail by day but are a political activist or animal rights advocate otherwise, the latter would be included within your Tenth House. If a “lifestyle” includes neighborhood vigilantism, being a “survivalist”, or attending a lot of funerals, that person’s Tenth House would qualify as Saturnine.
Capricorn, as the cardinal earth sign, governed by a heavy nocturnal (feminine sign) Saturn, and the place and time of least light in the Northern Hemisphere, is completely out of place in the public and daylight-filled Tenth. Because the Tenth is place of authority, it is far closer in meaning to the Sun than the gray planet Saturn.
ELEVENTH HOUSE:
In ancient times the 11th, the “Place of the Good Spirit (or daimon)”, was a place of fortune and abundance. According to traditional sources Jupiter is in joy in the Eleventh, befitting a place that is considered so fortunate. (The Eleventh is the House opposite the 5th, the Place of Good Fortune and the joy of Venus, the other benefic.) The Eleventh House became the place of “hopes and wishes” and later the place of friendship and social groups; “hopes and wishes” is more in line with the original meaning of the Eleventh House.
Is this like the fixed air sign Aquarius? The “Water-Bearer” has a linear mental quality and a tendency to become conceptual that is not particularly like the Eleventh House in its original meanings. Aquarius is a sign of social responsibility and objective mind, and Aquarius relates well to a diurnal (masculine sign) Saturn that is a lighter Saturn than the one who governs Capricorn. However, if you confine the Eleventh House to friendships and social groups, the affiliation with the diurnal Saturn isn’t such a problem.
Things become much more confusing when astrologers mix up Aquarius with the outer planet Uranus, the planet of eccentricity, suddenness, and genius, and then try to bring in the Eleventh House. Uranus is quite different from the fixed mental “human” sign Aquarius. Uranus is rebellious, radically individualistic, and is deliberately outside convention. Aquarius, the sign opposite Leo, is humanitarian and oriented more toward groups and cultures than individuals. To bring this confusion to the Eleventh House only makes this problem worse; it obscures the original benevolent and protective quality of this house which is well demonstrated by Jupiter’s traditional association.
TWELTH HOUSE:
There are many difficulties here, and many are based on the distorted ways that the sign Pisces has been defined. But first let’s look at the Twelfth House by itself.
Like the Sixth and Eighth, the Twelfth is also disconnected to the Ascendant and is also a place about life’s difficulties. The Twelfth is a cadent house that in ancient astrology was the Place of the “Bad Spirit.” In the outer world the Twelfth is where we locate prisons, confinement in institutions, and dark hidden places. More internally, this is the place of being haunted – by previous karma, psychological “unfinished business,” and other manners of “self-doing” that come about because of what we cannot see. Psychological astrologers have looked to the Twelfth House for unacknowledged factors that may wreak havoc on one’s person and within one’s relationships. This is in keeping with the qualities of this house.
This all seems very different from the mutable watery sign Pisces that is flowing, changeable, and can develop different disguises for its personal and social roles. Pisces, as a quality of mind, has a strongly intuitive nonlinear bent. Unlike the planet Neptune, however, natives with prominent Pisces placements manage to maintain their identity even if that identity is not well-defined. Both the sign Pisces and its purported ruler Neptune are a far cry from the vice grip many of have experienced when in conditions of external or internal confinement.
Jupiter, the great benefic and the traditional ruler of Pisces, is even farther away from the significations of the Twelfth House. Jupiter – especially in the feminine sign Pisces – brings intuition of possibilities that is often called “faith” or “hope”. The Twelfth, however, is where cold reality comes at us from behind often with harmful intent; it is far closer to Saturn than Jupiter. And Saturn is, of course, the “joy” of the Twelfth House.

TL;DR: yep, there are mentions of GME, Gamestop Class A shares, using Plaid to authenticate with brokerage accounts to verify that GME shares are held, and it's all to do with the WuTang album. BUT be very very careful where you put your phone number and who you allow to connect to your brokerage.
The WuTang tinfoil has always been one of my favorites. It's not only just really funny, but I've been a WuTang fan for at least a decade and getting anything relating to their giga-secret, DOJ, pharmabro, pleasrWhatever album just tickles me. I want to believe. I, like you, probably saw a few posts floating around about thealbum.com having mentions of GME and class A ordinary Gamestop shares yadda yadda. I figured I would dive deeper to see if there's anything my software engineer eyes could find that may be useful.
Yes, there really is a bunch of code relating to Gamestop, GME, even the Gamestop wallet. This is so-called "minified" code, meaning that most of the code has been replaced with a single letter to make the size of the code itself smaller, and also to obfuscate it a bit. Instead of things in the original code like getSecurities, this and any reference to it may just be replaced with a. This makes it hard to know exactly what's going on with the code itself, but things that aren't code like just simple strings of text can't be minified, so those still come through. We can read the code around these strings to get a bit of an idea what may be going on, but otherwise the code will mostly be nonsense. How to see for yourself:
  1. Go to thealbum.com (I'm not going to hyperlink to it because I don't know what the rules around that are)
  2. Inspect the page - ctrl+shift+i or right click and click "inspect element"
  3. Go to the Sources tab, expand the following: thealbum.com, _next/static, chunks, app and finally click on the JavaScript file starting with 652-9d73... This is a chunk of the bundle which makes up the website overall. What exactly that means isn't necessarily important, but this is just part of the code that makes the website and interacts with the server of whoever owns this website (see below for what I mean by "whoever owns it")
  4. The file isn't that long and you can basically ignore all of the code, so just read anything that stands out to you. You can ctrl+f for whatever you want as well, like GME or Gamestop etc.
This is where things get weird and interesting. There are several references to GME, Gamestop, ordinary shares, etc. There are also API calls to Plaid, which is a service that provides secure sign in - primarily for banks and financial institutions - so that you can securely get data from someone's bank account, brokerage, etc. in your own app without forcing your customer to provide you their credentials for their bank. I've used Plaid dozens of times, but in my experience it was only to connect my bank accounts to other services, I don't think that I've used it for a brokerage account before. Anyway, the way I see it, this is more or less what I understand this code to be doing:
  • You "Enter The Chamber", ie give your phone number on this website 🚨🚨THIS SHOULD BE A RED FLAG. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS, IT'S JUST WHAT'S THERE. WAIT FOR INFORMATION FROM GAMESTOP ITSELF BEFORE FUCKING WITH THIS WEBSITE 🚨🚨
  • The website tells you that you're on the "list" and you will be contacted in 80 years or so
  • Pure speculation starts here. At some point in the future, they'll open up some way to authenticate with Plaid so you can connect presumably a brokerage account or bank account etc.
  • Plaid loads up the information for the connected account. This gives them the ability to check the connected account using Plaid's API (/api/plaid/holdings endpoint in the code, I assume that this returns holdings for the account).
  • Then, it looks through all of the holdings, looking for a ticker symbol which matches "GME". Specifically GME, nothing else.
  • Once it sees that you have GME holdings, it adds some text:
VERIFIED HOLDER
YOU ARE ON THE LIST FOR REAL NOW.
Seemingly, nothing else changes. You're just "on the list", but for real...? This is where things get sketchy, or maybe just disappointing. Below again is my own speculation, along with some educated guesses.
I've looked at this and two other files, to briefly share what I found there:
  • File starting 2e10a2... has mentions of using a website called "walletconnect", I assume this is some API for connecting to ethereum wallets
  • File starting 3ab959... has mentions of basically every browser extension ethereum wallet I can think of, including the Gamestop wallet
They may use Plaid to just drain your brokerage account. Per zarmin in the comments, Plaid doesn't have the ability to drain your account. That sounds about right to me, but I'm going to remain skeptical at least for now. I have no idea what is and isn't possible when you authenticate with Plaid, but I wouldn't touch this with a 1 billion foot pole until we hear from Ryan Fucking Cohen to go authenticate with our brokerage. This could be an enormous scam/grift, or even worse, some shadow hedgy bullshit to get a bunch of people to have their shares sold. Human CentIPad vibes, make sure you read everything very carefully.
They may use Plaid to see if you have shares of GME, then laugh at you getting all hyped up about it. PleasrDAO has never been clear or really all that forthcoming with any information. They've strung us along a few different times and all we can really do is forget about it. I don't have any problem with PleasrDAO necessarily, we're smoking our own crayons out of tinfoil pipes and taking it out on them when they don't confirm everything we say. I mostly don't really have an opinion of them.
I don't know who even owns this website. Pleasr does have the URL in their twitter bio, and I imagine that they would put out some kind of cease and desist if they didn't own it, but idk wtf this website really is, so I remain skeptical. Given what we've found on it though, I imagine that Gamestop would also put out a cease and desist if they had all of this in the code of their website and it actually had nothing to do with GME. To me it's very serious to make claims about someone's held securities, if it were actually a nothing burger or malicious, I don't think that Gamestop's legal/PR team would let that shit fly. But what do I know.
But now the hype... This is kind of fucking awesome. There's a disclaimer on the website: "In ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT SET FORTH BY THE WU-TANG CLAN, THE ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 8, 2103." 79 years from now or so... But, do we get rights to some portion of the album? Perhaps every 7 shares gets 1 dividend representing partial ownership of the album? That sounds really valuable to me. Also inherently non-fungible, but why not wrap it up in a non-fungible token (NFTs for the regards out there) and just double down on that. If you're short my stock, just try to counterfeit the NFT and the portion of the ultra-secret WuTang album that it represents and pay that out to me. They've been playing musical shares, and the music would stop. You may not even necessarily be able to do anything with that NFT for the next 80 years, but why not hold on to it?
Anyway that's enough for me, I'll edit and add more below if I come across anything noteworthy but this is the full rundown of what I've seen so far.
Edit 1: I should mention that they didn't have to include any of this in the JavaScript bundle if they didn't want to. This isn't a leak, they intentionally put this there with the knowledge that someone may find it, and someone found it. They could have instead held essentially everything on the server side, and the JavaScript just requests the information from their server. This would require a different technical implementation but ultimately is roughly as easy to do, so they went this route almost definitely intentionally so that someone would find it. That, or whoever made this site wasn't even thinking about it and this really is a leak, but most engineers know what gets included in the bundle and knows not to include sensitive data where it may be exposed. I'd say it's like a 95% chance that they wanted this to be found, and the fact that they've been tweeting DFV with WuTang memes and shit makes me think that the odds are closer to 100%
Edit 2: The file starting 117-59ec... seems to have a lot of functionality relating to connecting to various ethereum wallets. The file is really long and is very obfuscated so it's hard to read and there's no way to know if there's really anything there. I tried giving it to Claude to try and read but it exceeded the limit for a single chat. Does anyone have access to the GCP 1 million token LLM and wants to try sending it there to see if it can suss anything out? I don't think that I care to read a thousand line file of minified JavaScript in the hope that I might be able to find something relevant because I probably won't, leveraging some tool would help though. Acting: Great CGI: Great Storyline: Abysmal
This movie might be even worse than the Mark Wahlberg version of "Planet of the Apes."
It completely disregards the foundation set by the first of the new movies. Not all characters are even aware of Caesar. Although it's set "generations later" (a lazy choice), the justification for this setting is weak. There are numerous stories worth telling in this universe, but this isn't one of them.
The movie states the virus makes apes smarter while making humans dumber. This premise is flawed, as it's later shown that apes haven't learned to read, write, or even use human technology left behind, some apes collect books, half a reason is given "these symbols have meaning". This setup leads to an early interaction where apes are surprised a human can talk. The apes' intelligence progresses to training birds of prey for hunting but not to learning reading, despite having access to all necessary materials. They also retain some knowledge of sign language, which is based on letters.
The movie begins with a tribe of apes using birds to catch fish, creating a coming-of-age scenario where three young apes must harvest bird eggs. This subplot ends up pointless, as the characters never bond with the eggs, and the father's role as master of birds is largely irrelevant. The birds play a minor role, contributing to only one significant scene, thus robbing the apes of their uprising.
The film is largely pointless, featuring a messiah-complex ape who is ultimately overpowered (again, lazy). The final reveal is a human story told from the apes' perspective, keeping viewers, along with the Apes, in the dark until the last five minutes, the human in the story uses Noa, the young teenager ape, to gather a satalite access key, of which the humans have already gathered 2/3, this being the last one. This is the reveal, all of it, the humans can now contact each other. Some ape fights in the background.
Overall, it's very disappointing. There's no real progress in the apes' knowledge e.g. How can they take over the planet without creating or wielding weapons? Weapons which humans have access to... Human rebels with access to electricity and occasional weapons attempt to communicate using satellites, but the virus has diminished their intellect?
In conclusion, it's lazy storytelling with a pointless and poorly executed plot.

Session 1 "The Apartment" (May 24th, 2024)
New York: Tuesday, August 8th, 1995
1:45pm - 3:32pm, EST
Entering the lobby of the Macallistar building in Kips Bay, NYC, the Agents first make a sweep of Abigail's mailbox. Agent MARCUS (M-Cell Case Officer) provided them with a complete set of keys, not to be copied. The mailbox is stuffed full with bills, junk mail, catalogues and offers; mail still being delivered by people who have no idea Abigail is missing. MAVERICK gathers it in a bag and they make their way to Abigail's apartment (Ground floor).
The Macallistar echoes an earlier age. Faded purple carpeting and design from the turn of the century. Opposite Abigail's front door is an old-fashioned telephone nook, complete with bench and curtain for comfort and privacy when phone-lines in individual apartment was an expense few could afford.
M-Cell enters the apartment, finding it somewhere between a hoarder's dream and crime-scene technician's nightmare. The small hallway leads to a living-room (the apartment's largest space), an adjoining bedroom and a kitchen and bathroom opposite each other. Aside from the hallway, on first inspection the only other uncluttered space is the kitchen, which doesn't really look as if it's been used much. MAVERICK ear-marks that as something he wants to check himself as the team begin taking stock.
The NYPD has left a box with copies of their files, including a list of tenants they interviewed, many, many evidence collection bags and a box of latex gloves.
The apartment is filled with various items, with almost no floor visible beneath the collection. CDs and CD cases are stuck or glued to the wall, along with mannequin parts, sketches and assorted pieces that might be ceramic or plastic arranged in odd patterns without reason or rhyme. Stacks of phone books, stretches of dyed fabrics stitched together, an antique claw-footed lamp. Bags, bundles of pictures (drawings and photographs) of seeming nonsense. No furniture is immediately visible in the chaotic mess.
MAIN finds the same result in the bedroom as the first Search rolls are called for. Something catches his eye in the anarchy of the bedroom.
MALATESTA begins sorting through the pile of mail. MILHOUSE at first begins helping, but seeing the scale of the cataloguing, volunteers to make a coffee and food run. MIRANDA begins photographing, while MAVERICK gloves up and asks for things to be passed to him such as brushes, anything with a handle really or something more likely to have fingerprints on it. He wants to see if he can grab a set of Abigail's prints, if that's possible.
It doesn't take MALATESTA long to work out Abigail stopped paying her rent and bills in or around March before disappearing in June. Money was coming in up to a certain point, apparently from a showing Abigail had at the Mercury Gallery in Greenwich Village in November the previous year. There's even a letter from the gallery owner asking about another possible showing; from the way it's written, it might not have been the first time he spoke to Abigail before she vanished. Then, the only money coming in appears to be from her father, though she doesn't appear to have used it to cover the rent. He also gets the building management company, Art Life and their address.
As the Agents work, with MAIN carefully picking his way through the bedroom towards whatever caught his eye and MAVERICK uncovers a battery-powered hi-fi under all the trash, MILHOUSE returns from his coffee run and bumps into someone else entering the Macallistar at the same time he is. After an awkward hesitation on the threshold, MILHOUSE spends a little chatting to Lewis Post, one of Abigail's neighbours. MILHOUSE passes a HUMINT roll and I ruled that having spent most of his time in academics and his fellow PhDs, he can spot signs of some kind of social anxiety. I felt that was a fair get for a good success.
Lewis is hesitant but forthcoming as MILHOUSE works that high charisma score, knowing what to say to diffuse any potential tension. As far as Lewis knows, he is FBI of some kind after all.
MILHOUSE: "Did she ever mention a boyfriend? Girlfriend?"
Lewis: "Our relationship wasn't really like that. We had coffee sometimes. Talked about art. The process." He thinks. "She might have mentioned someone, but not a name, only what they did. A salesman, but I couldn't tell you what they sold."
MILHOUSE: "Talk about anything else?"
Lewis begins heading upstairs "She mentioned moving, but not before she was ready."
Back in the apartment, MAIN voices what others were thinking. "Where was she staying?" No bed, no signs of habitation except for the assorted hoard of crap. MAIN finds a hand grenade nestled in some papers and art supplies near the bedroom's walk-in closet.
In the living room, MAVERICK finds a single cassette tape in the uncovered hi-fi and flips it on, finding the batteries still live. Everyone hears MAVERICK's conversation with his significant other, Natalie from the previous evening. MAVERICK realises it's cut up and out of order, rewinds it and then flips it over. He thinks the entire conversation has been split between A & B sides of the tape.
MALATESTA and MAVERICK both consider phone-tapping, but MAIN, grenade temporarily forgotten, asks how it ended up here?
SAN check for MAVERICK. Pocketing the cassette tape, MAVERICK closes down a bit and prepares to go over the kitchen with a fine tooth comb; perhaps this is how he copes?
Before MAIN can mention the grenade he's worried about, MIRANDA, MALATESTA, MILHOUSE & MAVERICK notice something on the wall behind where the hi-fi was previously buried under junk. Fixed to the wall, maybe with some kind of glue is a piece of brown packing-paper with some kind of symbol drawn on it. Everyone focuses on it.

3:41pm to 5:22pm, EST
MALATESTA: "That certainly looks like what we're supposed to be worried about."
MIRANDA snaps a polaroid. MILHOUSE tries to examine it, but his Occult check can only give him the vague thought it's connected to demonology, but little else beyond that. MAVERICK is cautious, but more concerned about getting to work on the unusually spotless kitchen.
Carefully, MIRANDA removes it and a blaring sounds like something between a horn blast and explosion almost deafens the Agents. It seems to come from everywhere and nowhere, from right next to them and outside at the same time.
Everyone passes a CONx5 check and the subsequent SAN check. Through the living room's window, MIRANDA, MILHOUSE and MAIN see a yellow-cab in the street outside. The cabbie appears to have leaned on the horn as someone crosses the street. They appear heavily dressed for summer, possibly homeless.
Is that a snake draped across their shoulders?
MIRANDA takes a polaroid while MILHOUSE and MAIN head outside to investigate. The picture reveals in sharp clarity, the cabbie staring down the barrel as she snapped the shot directly at her. MAVERICK gets to work in the kitchen and MALATESTA picks over things in the living room and bedroom respectively.
Search rolls for those in the apartment.
Outside, the cab has turned the corner and the pedestrian has carried on, though MAIN and MILHOUSE are able to work out where they went. MILHOUSE heads to cut off the other side of the alley, while MAIN approaches from behind, getting the pedestrian's attention. It's the height of summer in NYC, the air reeks of gasoline, rotting garbage and baking, soiled concrete and asphalt.
MAIN finds a nondescript, seemingly homeless man by the state of his clothes, but with a python draped over his shoulders. MAIN strikes up conversation, lighting a Gitane cigarette and pointing to the snake. From the other end of the alley, MILHOUSE makes his way towards the pair.
MAIN fails an alertness check.
Is this guy sweating? It's hot and he's bundled up like it's winter. Is he sweating? Why isn't he sweating?
Back in the apartment, MAVERICK tests the kitchen for blood and body fluids, breaking out the spray bottle and UV light. There's no cutlery, glassware or dishware anywhere in the room, but as he's lifting what could be a print, finds a mechanical diagram drawn on a napkin taped above the inside of an otherwise empty drawer. MALATESTA & MIRANDA continue their search of the living and bedroom, with MALATESTA finding a card printed with the following:
"For a good time Call D - 999-202-9989"
On the reverse are a series of what appear to be street corner addresses in Brooklyn. Could be a sex-line, could be a way to see Red Band underground film screenings, could be something online related. MALATESTA drifts between a few circles and he pockets it out of curiosity. When MIRANDA locates the grenade in the bedroom, she is careful to give it a wide berth and locates what MAIN missed: a backpack radio in the bedroom's walk-in closet. She calls MALATESTA over.
Back in the alleyway, MILHOUSE rolls under 10% and passes his disguise check. Dressed casually and a college athlete to boot, he fits the general chad look in his New York Knicks shirt despite his academic leanings. Being loud and obnoxious like he's drunk, he barrels into the homeless guy with the snake who stonewalled MAIN.
Instead he hits MAIN as the man with the snake is there and gone in the space between blinks. One moment MAIN is looking at him and then MILHOUSE knocks him flat on his ass. Like a film edit. Just gone. MAIN crit fails his SAN check and takes 4 SAN loss without projecting. Instead, as he scrambles up begins kicking over trash cans and searching the alley while MILHOUSE tries to calm him down and get a handle on things.
As MILHOUSE is talking MAIN out of tearing the alley apart, MIRANDA and MALATESTA check out the radio. As it comes to life, they listen and hear the following:
"Exeter. India. One. Thirteen. Sierra. Twenty. Twenty. Forty-nine."
MAVERICK meanwhile, finding the kitchen bare oddly finds the refrigerator stocked. There isn't much inside, some milk unopened and a pack of cheese and deli meat. Expiration is months ago, but through the plastic and glass of the bottle it looks fresh. Curious, he opens the milk and finds it smells as fresh as the day it was bought. Months ago.
Passes his SAN check. Given what he heard on the tape, it's not the strangest thing today.
MAIN and MILHOUSE detour to grab some more coffees, more to calm MAIN down and give him a (successful CHAx5 check) to flirt with the coffeeshop waitress. On their return, MAIN heads into the bedroom, pulls the pin on the grenade and activates the firing lever.
Nothing happens. His "hunch" was correct. Despite failing to properly identify it, something about the shape of it didn't match modern ordnance. Like the radio, it's vintage and either deactivated or else rendered inert by time and age.
I gave MAIN a SAN point back, because why not?
As things begin winding down, MILHOUSE and MAVERICK puzzle over the weird fridge, with MILHOUSE sacrificing his green tea and MAVERICK a donut to see how "fresh" they are come morning between the fridge and not.

After 6pm, EST
Between them, M-Cell take the rest of the evening to take care of home-scenes or any unfinished business they can get done with their resources at hand. They also divide the Operational evidence from the Case evidence, with MIRANDA taking the symbol, MALATESTA the backpack radio & phone number, MAVERICK the cassette tape (for obvious reasons) and MAIN the mechanical sketch on the napkin.
MIRANDA and MILHOUSE, using the former's academic credentials both stay on the case, with MIRANDA leaving her photos from the park to develop in her bathroom. While she fails her roll, she does help MILHOUSE identify the demon the symbol refers to and book-related lead. She hits up a criminal contact named Hugo to put out feelers for weird items she may be interested in. He agrees for a fee, which she negotiates in her favour.
Returning to her apartment, MIRANDA finds her photos of the dancing clown and watching crowd have developed. In every photograph, the clown is turned away from her, but the faces in the crowd are looking at her. That's not how she remembers it. Fails a SAN check. Projects on to her editor, knowing she's going to be taking a "personal day" tomorrow, and this after she agreed to go to the grill.
This will have consequences.
MAIN, unnerved by the day's events, not the least of which was being knocked on his ass by a fitter, younger man, heads out. He returns to the coffeeshop he and MILHOUSE visited and takes the waitress he hit on out on a date. After a romantic interlude, MAIN has a new bond. Her name's Marsha, she's 27 and very nice.
Breaking Operational Security, MAVERICK asks MALATESTA to come back to his apartment and check for possible surveillance. Despite suffering comparatively little SAN loss overall, MAVERICK is letting the day's events impact his behaviour.
It's trivially easy for MALATESTA to confirm there are no bugs in place, which really does narrow the options for how the conversation could have been recorded. Thankful, he asks MALATESTA to keep this to himself for now, to which the grunge-kid agrees. MAVERICK drops MALATESTA near his home and leaves, putting the tape in the player of his car as he pulls away.
MALATESTA lives near the Village and diverts to check out the Mercury Gallery. Though closed, it seems legit and he makes a note of it for later. Back at home, he breaks open the backpack radio and examines it. The battery is not connected to the radio itself, the wires having been stripped out, yet he and MIRANDA both heard a voice on the end of its phone-mic. He passes his SAN check and finds in place of one of the transistors a small, black stone which does not feel like stone at all and feels like it's body temperature. MALATESTA leaves it on his desk, covered in a cloth.
Alone in his apartment, MAVERICK watches his phone. The time comes and he does not call Natalie. A moment later, his phone rings.

Post-Mortem
We ended up playing for a touch longer than I intended, but I knew that would happen by the time the cab sounded its horn. Despite some tiredness and some drinking, we ended up with a really strong session in retrospect, which has set the overall tone of the campaign for me as GM going forward. Between the five players, two have been through one Delta Green campaign, one has experience with Pulp Cthulhu and two have varying levels of exposure. They all roleplayed the f##k out of their characters and while I was worried about just how weird I wanted things to get out the gate, it feels like the balance is correct and I've given enough avenues for further investigation they may want to pursue.
I got a far better sense, as did the players, as to what drives and motivates their characters and how they cope or don't cope with Delta Green work.
MILHOUSE is definitely setting himself up as the curious academic, Iain playing his interest as forever drawn towards what's there "to discover," he said in character. Perhaps a fool and his sanity are easily parted?
MAVERICK is the "all-American", Agent Cooper adjacent FBI Agent who butts up against the para-natural and is seemingly rocked by it, revealing a complicated and perhaps conflicted depth. In his previous operation with MIRANDA, MAVERICK killed one person, but something about this has gotten under his skin. I wonder what Natalie thinks about their missed call?
A hacker by trade, MALATESTA likes a puzzle as much as he does not like the "weird shit." He talks a good talk when it's about something he knows, but is much too shy to chat up his co-worker. He and MAVERICK had some friction in Session 0 when MAVERICK wanted to call him Mal, to which the younger man pushed back against. Yet, he now knows where MAVERICK lives. Maybe he can learn more? What will he do with that? Does he even want to?
As much as MILHOUSE, MIRANDA is likewise driven by curiosity and a need to know, but first and foremost to keep herself safe. She and him are not the same. There's a scar above her hip from a knife, and it still twinges from time to time. She's also the first to directly or indirectly involve a Bond in the investigation. I wonder what Hugo will or won't find? I wonder what those photos mean. MIRANDA wondered aloud whether the crowd or the clown was the "entity." What does that mean?
Despite being built like Jack Reacher (albeit in a sailor suit), MAIN projects a tough air but is clearly a man at the crossroads. He turns 40 before 1995 ends; middle age. When hit with a problem or something he can't otherwise work out, his behaviour swings from one extreme to the other. To date, he's coped with the case by: lashing out at trash cans in an alley. Chatting up a waitress and forming a romantic bond with her. Pulling the pin on a grenade he "thought" could be fake. It's day one. I'm here for it.
Our next session is scheduled for June 7th, 2024.

I have a bit of a concern here, especially after few conversations with my friends telling me, that I am overreacting. Allow me to explain first.
I have known M since last year, and as I found out within few months back, he broken up with his girlfriend. So we chatted as friends, knowing him more via "persona he had created" I started to fancy him a bit. So I decided to invite him out for a coffee back in March.
We went on 4 dates (he was asking me out as well). And after last date he kissed me twice. Then he ghosted me for an entire week, showed no initiative, so I decided to remain silent. In the end I blocked him.
I had one of my social media accounts locked for a 4 weeks, and once I unlocked it, he has sent me over there a paragraph length message that he ghosted me, it was awkward to not say anything, basically roasted me for my personality, said we are incompatible, humiliated me with polite words usage, and then proposed to be friends, referring to his ex.
I did not responded, so I blocked him everywhere on social media, was bit sad, carried on with work, gym, studies - generally speaking my life. Dating him gave me couple of red flags (example: sometimes he said he dumped his ex, sometimes he said she dumped him, sometimes he did not wanted to talk about things related to any ex, whenever he said one story, a bit later he said different one about same thing, so things were not adding up; for me it's red flag here). So the last time we had any contact was around 14th this month.
Recently long weekend took the place, so I stayed at home, studied, did not stepped outside due to my online uni classes. My housemate informed me that he found weirdly looking envelope (on Monday) in our mailbox dedicated to me.
Envelope was not addressed, there were no stamp, no seal, nothing. Just my full name written on it.
When I opened the letter, there was piece of paper looking like ripped of from notebook, with weird cypher written on it. In some sort of maybe symbols like from games, sigils, fiction, coding. No idea. I decided to upload it online and mentioned that it looks to me like a prank. Since I am non English person, I used some online community related to my nationality. Someone responded pretty fast within few hours decoding this to me. Deciphered letter states this:

In a meantime I was writing with my family member, they said to me - Hey maybe that is THIS GUY? - which I doubted at first. But based on language used above, exact working and finishing line I AM 100% SURE THAT THIS GUY WHO DUMPED ME WRITTEN IT.
He was never informed by me where exactly in town I live. I never share my personal address anywhere on socials. Only two people locally know where I live - but they don't know that guy. So I have no idea how... But he literally stalked out where I live (It looks like it's the case), dumped the letter - and I am sharing this now right here not sure what to do.
My two best friends from abroad are like: Hey, it's just a letter, you overreact, just throw it.
My family member is like: you should report it to the police!
Me: What the hell is this letter for?
So my question is this: How should I proceed in this situation guys? How would you feel in my place? What's the point for him in doing all of that? I just need some brainstorm in the comment section to know which approach is the best for this.

It's been so long since I did any analysis of RM's music, the last time I was fifteen and so so depressed. RM has grown as an artist while I grew as a person, in a way it's so personal that every time he comes up with new music, even if it's been long since I really liked BTS music, I just have this ich in my fingers asking me to write down my thoughts. With Right Place, Wrong People I just can't hold myself, Indigo almost made me write my thoughts down in this sub (because that album was made for me, an art theory nerd) but this new album???? Man, I've got things to say. So, sorry for babbling, here are my thoughts:
Before talking about the content, lyrics, and general thoughts, I need to mention and study all the great artists working with RM on this album. First and foremost, San Yawn from Balming Tiger literally could be called the co-creator of this album. Another member of Balming Tiger, bj wnjn, also appears in the credits of a few songs. In the chorus in Dodomachi, you can see the best example of his influence because he's the one who sings it. The sounds, gimmicks, and the way most of the songs in the album are pierced together really feel like Balming Tiger, if anyone is a fan of them you know what I mean. Check them out, they just recently came out with an incredible album: January Never Dies. And for some song recommendations, if you really liked the theme in LOST! in Right Place Wrong People, you will love UP!.
Some other great artists work in production, OHHYUK (from HYUKOH) is the producer of Come back to me, and it really shows. I desperately ask you to go listen to HYUKOH's albums if you liked that song cause, man, that song could have fooled me if you told me it was theirs. Mokyo too, recently has been working with a lot of artists and coming out with really creative stuff, so please check him out (and go listen to Vampire, that song is just pure perfection). Going back to Come back to me, Kuo from Sunset Rollercoaster worked in it too and the guitar in the song really shows it. Check Sunset Rollercoaster too, they deserve a lot more love from the k-rock lovers. Supremeboy, even if he only appears in (I think) the credits of out of love, deserves always the love and respect from old fans of RM, so shout out to him too.
The really rich mixture of sounds and genres in the album really makes me think once again of Indigo, but this time it feels so different. In Indigo RM took a lot of inspiration from the sound of this artist but the message was less introspective in his lyrics than in Right Place Wrong People, now the mix with this artist really mixes so deeply the introspection in the lyrics with the sound. And really, the appreciation we should have for those who worked with RM in the production and writing of the album should be pointed out in bold letters and neon, cause it's fundamental to understand the whole meaning and message of the album, to the understand it's conception.
In the album, RM talks primarily about how he's perceived and how that affects the person he's come to be. It's a beautiful introspection on how others interact and convince him, and how that has affected him, and how he interacts with people. On the one hand, you can see the real symbolism that is the mix of RM's introspection with the people he collaborated with. Most people only look up to the features when we talk about the mix of different artists sounds, but in Right Place Wrong People, the symbiosis of RM's compositions it's with those that he's featuring and with those that work with him in production. See Dodomachi, he's featuring Little Smizs (I promise you I was shocked to see he was collaborating with her, go check out her last album Drop 7, it's GOLD), he collaborates and mixes his sound and lyrics with hers perfectly, but at the same time it's in the production and the choruses where what shines it's the work of bj wnjn, with his distinctive singing and those lyrics heavy where we can hear a more hollow and dark feeling in the "Friend, let's dance here", really showing the true heaviness of dislike for the life of partying he's been pushed to by those called friends. the mix of sounds, the collaboration of other people's voices (this time the right people in the right place) it's what gives the extra layers and deepness to RM's new album.
On the other hand, RM's introspection feels old and comforting for an old fan. I remember when Mono came out and how much I loved (and I still love) Seoul. Listening to this new, older, Namjoon I can't help but see in this new tone the comeback of the idea he presented once:
If love and hate are the same words /I love you, Seoul
Back then the music is very conciliatory, and acceptance of change. That has changed, in Indigo we see a brief development on this idea with Change pt. 2:
Love change, friends change, everyone change, no, yeah / It is not strange, hmm, that's the world's shape, aye / You gotta admit it, hmm Don't you get it still? / Someday, a great grief will do come for you, hmm, yeah
The song, while being in Indigo, has the same type of violent emotion that connects more with Right Place Wrong People than with the album it's in. It refers to things that connect with songs like LOST!...
Ay, ay, ay, ay (Dump it on the ground, shit) / Ay, ay, ay, ay (Dump it on the ground, shit) / I keep trippin', I can’t stop bleeding / I got lost in the ground, but not beggin' at you
It refers to things that connect with songs like LOST! while also being the stage in between Mono and Right Place Wrong People. The three albums together can be read as the stages of the being of RM, the acceptance of what he was back in 2018, what his art is in 2022, and who he is in 2024. Right Place, Wrong People, as much as you can talk about it being an album of songs giving the middle finger to people, is (for me) an album about RM, how he's now as a person, and how that relates to the people around him and love. For me is an album about love and being oneself openly, and aggressively. It's love connected with pain, "pain divine". It comes back to Seoul and the connection with love and pain, how Seoul and RM's soul were the same, and how he has grown with that deep pain and love. What once was a song written with the calm acceptance of this, in Right Place Wrong People we see how this understanding has grown and RM just can't keep pretending he's not this, someone built by pain and love. In Come back to me we see it:
You are my pain, divine, divine.
A song, talking about someone that's not there for him anymore, connects with this idea RM has been working with for so long in his music, that his soul is built with pain and love. But now he's not only accepted it, but he's confident in it. You can see this in Nuts, where he compares the love between him and others with elements of danger, while also assuring the person that he doesn't wish to change things to be with them, he "can make this place right for" them.
It was a tough relationship, there's a stigma on my chest / It's called you, I can't even believe we were together /It was a flu, and we could see the karma coming through
RM works around the concept of being built by pain and love, and turns it into the concept of painful love. He works around this idea in this album with these two songs especially, but you can see it in others like Around the world in a day with Mosses Summey:
We who are lost don't look so pitiful / Now with a smile, raising the middle finger / Yeah, all the past, the present / I'ma pass, then give it to you / I like myself broken, b!tch, that's the sh!t
I think the more interesting line in this song is the one that goes "My appearance like a lost item hoping to be found / We who are lost don't look so pitiful / Now with a smile, raising the middle finger", and it really connects these songs I've talked about with the rest of the songs in the album, the ones that as he says is a "raising the middle finger" to those that criticize him, in those that expect him to be someone different. This theme is maybe more prevalent, you see it in Out of love or in Dodomachi. In one he says it directly, referring to the (dumb if you ask me) scandal with the picture of him smoking with these lines:
I'm just a pack of cigarette / I'm going to burn down all the love and the hate, the right, the wrongs / Even the goddamn world I've been livin' in for my whole life / Smoking kills, I know / It's my business, you bitches stop, don't talk shit / Ashes falling like snow / I've been changin' the flow
In Dodomachi he uses singing, the dark pessimistic voice of bj wnjn to talk about how he's being pushed by those who call themselves his friends to change, to be what people would expect of an artist as famous as he is, to make him forget who he was before:
I been slipping through all kinda b*llsh*t, I forgot where I came from / All s*ckers wanna get it, take a sip, silently pour it into the glass / All the s*ckers wanna hit it, I'ma lead you to the heaven, blow the flute / All my friends wanna get around in O's, all my friends wanna take another pose / Yeah, I'm knocked out, what a bullsh*t (Get the f*ck down) / Muhf*cka, want a doom sh*t
And while I could continue for days writing my ideas on this album, I think I should conclude (I have an exam tomorrow I should be studying instead of doing this, I blame you Kim Namjoon for my laziness) with what this all concludes in the album. It's called Right Place, Wrong People and that's because of good reason. What comes out of all the ideas RM presents in the songs is one big concept: the confidence of who he is, with the pain and the love that has built him, and how he just doesn't care to conform to those that not understand this and want him to be someone else. From Seoul to Right Place, Wrong People, he shows how not only he has accepted who he is (pain and love) but he also doesn't care if others don't accept him. I think the best examples of this are in ? (Interlude), and Heaven.
You know you got the best of me / Do you know me? / I don't mind at all
This album is one of self-love, introspection, and knowing oneself, to not only accept to be confident in those things painful in one. To give a middle finger to those who want to change him and to those who criticize him for not conforming to the cruel world of fake image, violence, and stardom. It's a beautiful conclusion to ideas he has worked with in BTS and with his early works as a soloist, going as back as 2017 when he asked to be told "everything is alright" in Change with Wale. I think is beautiful how all these ideas have changed and morphed and matured with him, going from:Baby, tell me that we gon' someday stop the fight
And tell me that every, everything gon' be alright / Oh tell me who's stupid, baby, is it me or them? / Just tell me who's insane, baby, is it me or them? / In this crazy world after patience, could we get the pearl?

There are so many unlucky bastards in the world / So what? The vertical orientation of the “Clancy” logo on the album cover initially seemed odd to me. I didn’t think much of it until someone mentioned how, when turned sideways (east is up?) it can be read as “VLDSOY.” I didn’t think too much more of it until I examined the CD case and noticed that, on the side, all the lettering flows horizontally except the album title—unless you read it sideways, as “Voldsoy.”
Also, in the booklet, Tyler jokes that he’s naming his son “Voldemort,” which could be a nod toward the significance of Voldsoy.
To my mind, with the dangerous bend symbol featuring so prominently, in addition to the DEMA & “circling vultures” symbols, all this suggests that this album has to do with whatever happens on voldsøy. That it’s tricky, and maybe something that requires extra care & caution to get right, the consequences of failure resulting in vultures picking one’s bones clean—and the Bishops’ long sought-after Glorious Gone for Clancy.
The bombastic and careless attitude featured on “Overcompensate” is obviously disregarding of this, with Clancy and the Banditos seeming to want to project that they are being careless and hasty with the process. But why?
I’ve begun to think of Keons as an embodiment of fear of death (death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit), which if we take the submarine event as a preparation for Clancy’s death, represents his fear of death saving him. Of course he ends up on voldsoy, which seems to be a sort of sitting and facing all one’s demons one by one.
Anyway, I’m getting way off track. Those first few paragraphs are what I really wanted to point out!

Hello everyone. Is there any way to change the order of pop-up symbols? For example, in the video you see that I am using Georgian language. When you long press, for some letters in Georgian language you get another Georgian letter. However you see in the video that in some cases other letter is the first choice, in some cases you should go left to get another letter and in some cases you should go to the right end to get another letter. I know that if I turn of long press for hinted symbols, this problem disappears, but I'd love to have longpress symbols as well. So any ideas? Thanks

Currently listening through the discography for the DEMA story line, and I just had an idea.
Keep in mind I’m not super plugged into all of the lore, so this might already be obvious.
There is a running theory, that I personally adhere to, that the real Clancy fell victim to vialism. Tyler has since taken on the name Clancy as a sort of symbol for the rebellion of the Bishops.
If this is true, as is evidenced throughout the letters, is it possible that Goner is Clancy’s suicide note? We started getting Clancy letters after Blurryface. Part of the Clancy is dead theory is that Tyler found his journal and photocopied pages to share with people.
I believe that Goner is written from Clancy’s point of view. He is giving up and giving in; a goner. However, he wants to be known still. He doesn’t want to be gone.
I believe Goner is the real Clancy’s suicide note/plea to Tyler to take on the name and continue what he started.
Thoughts?
Edit: This could further be supported by the idea that Tyler’s bishop is not Nico. If I remember correctly, his bishop is Keons. So why would he be singing “I’ve got two faces, Blurry’s the one I’m not.” This would mean that Blurryface is less chronologically-based and more character-based, but I think it works. We start the story with Clancy, he dies at the end of Blurryface, and then we pick up with Tyler escaping to Trench and beginning to take on Clancy’s name.

Hello! If you've made it here, it means I have piqued your curiosity from one of my Reddit comments and are probably seeking my resources related to Wisdom. As enough people have asked me for these, I decided to compile them here to make it easier for everyone.
My goal is simple: to share what I’ve learned regarding self awareness, self knowledge, self understanding, self love/compassion, and applying these to practical use.
If you are looking for specific books or resources, feel free to comment here, or if you prefer your privacy, feel free to DM me. Let me know your topic(s) of interest and perhaps I may have come across them already and be able to share these.
If you are interested in the specific books that have personally helped me, I would recommend the works of Carl Jung and Manly P. Hall (MPH), because I can understand their language and so it is easy and fun to read (for me lol). As they are my chosen Teachers, much of my resources would be mainly from them. They have already done the research on topics that I am currently undertaking and so it’s like reading their notes instead of having to read the actual textbooks, which can be more difficult to read, and so their works are useful to try to understand, while using the actual textbooks to check their references for further investigation.
They have especially helped me in my understanding of what is to be known nowadays as esotericism or occultism, alchemy, and also especially Eastern philosophy, as they both aimed to unite it with Western philosophy, for a more complete and fair representation of our collective wisdoms. I personally trust their interpretation of Truth, after having done my investigation and cross-references myself, so this is a matter of personal resonance. What could work for me, may not work for everyone else. So take everything with a grain of salt, take note of what resonates and investigate these further, discard the rest.
This compilation will be updated and organized as I find the time to do so. I apologize for my lack of organization; this is more of a hobby, unfortunately, as my main profession is separate from this lol. I am also doing all of this via mobile. This is still incomplete; I have many more resources that I must scour through so I can add to this list.

In my dream, I was floating above a pine forest at night. Even in the dark, I could make out that the trees only resembled the pines of Earth -- I knew I was not on planet Earth, but somewhere else.
I landed on a mountain. The night was peaceful and calm. I just stood there for a while, letting the silence and the peace come over me.
When I turned to look down at the mountain, it was already dawn. The landscape was stunningly beautiful, I admired it almost mesmerized. I have never seen such a beautiful landscape. My vision was perfect, the green of the trees almost glowed and sang in the sunlight.
After I got up from the awe, I noticed a small town on the left. I rose into the air and landed on a street. The houses were huge, their walls were all painted in light colors, but I barely saw one or two windows. I didn't see anyone on the streets, maybe it was too early. Or...
Suddenly the realization dawned on me: this is a generated reality. The buildings, the narrow streets... everything looked just like the AI-generated videos and images -- on the surface everything is fine, but the details are out of place.
So I took a screenshot. I do not know how.
After that I saw strange letters and strange symbols on a sign. I stepped closer to take a closer look, but then my phone rang and I woke up.

  1. Reading Piano Sheet Music
Sheet music is a written record of music, which may seem difficult for untrained individuals. Although understanding notes is like mastering a new language, in reality, it is not as difficult as you imagine. In the following article, we will explore together how to read Piano sheet music.
The writing foundation of music is the staff, consisting of five parallel lines and four central spaces. As shown in the figure below, these five lines are marked 1-5 from bottom to top, and similarly, the four empty spaces are also marked 1-4 from bottom to top.

Each line and space in the staff represent different tones, which are determined by the clef. We usually use the letters of the alphabet: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. The two most common clefs are the treble clef and the bass clef.

The ledger line is used to represent the regular line of the staff and the symbol below or above the space ZhongC is the first note that every scholar begins to learn music, located on a ledger line between the bass clef and the treble CLF Foundation CL's CSR arm the following example, you can see how it is represented in these two clefs. Sometimes in sheet music, diatonic lines are used because they are easier to read than constantly changing between diatonic notes. There may be an infinite number of ledger lines above or below any line, but if there are more than three lines, it is difficult to read music.
For all beginners and musicians, learning and understanding the keyboard is the first step in their musical journey. This is a necessary learning process that opens the door to the world of music for us. Especially when learning notes and playing the piano, a deep understanding of the keyboard can enable us to master techniques and theories more efficiently, avoiding detours. By mastering the keyboard, we can more intuitively and quickly understand the structure of music, thereby better grasping the rhythm and emotions of music, and providing a solid foundation for our performance or creation.

Whether you move from the white key to the black key, or from the white key to the white key, there is a half step between each key on the piano. Even if there is no black key between E and F or B and C, each pair is still only half a step away. Because there is a black color between C and D, D and E, we call the distance between these notes a whole step.
Sharp notes will raise the pitch by half a step, flat notes will lower the pitch by half a step, and black keys play this role on the piano. For example, the black keys you see between C and D sound like a C harp or D plane. Visually, this is completely meaningful because the black keys are located above C and below D. The notes between D and E are either D sharp notes or E flat notes, and so on.
In Western music, most of the melodies and harmonies of a piece are constructed using notes from a single scale, so it is important to include the order of flat or sharp tones in key signatures. A scale is a set of notes arranged in a combination order of whole steps and half steps. There are several scales in the language of music, and today everyone will introduce them in detail.
Firstly, let's take a look at the C major scale on the spectrum. This special scale has no sharpness or flatness. It will also only play on the white keys on the keyboard.

All major scales are comprised of the following pattern of tones: whole-step, whole-step, half-step, whole-step, whole-step, whole-step, half-step.
If you were to start the scale on a note other than C, you would need to add sharps or flats to maintain this pattern of tones. Let’s take a look at the F-major scale.

The distance between the second and third notes of a major scale is a whole-step. Since there is only a half-step between E and F, we need to raise the F by a half-step to an F-sharp. The same is true between the sixth and seventh notes of the scale, which is why there is a written C-sharp.
Every major scale has a relative minor scale. A relative minor scale shares the same key signature as its major scale, but it begins on the sixth note of the major scale. For example, A is the sixth note of the C-major scale, which makes A-minor the relative minor scale of C-major. Look at the F-major and D-major scales above? What is the relative minor scale for each of those major scales? Hint: find the sixth note of the scale.
Because you are using the same key signature as a major scale, but starting on the sixth note, there is a different pattern of whole-steps and half-steps. Take a look at the A-minor scale below.

All natural minor scales are composed of the following tonal patterns: full step, half step, full step, full scale, half scale, full scale, and full scale.
Perhaps you want to know why this scale is called A natural minor, not just A minor. This is because there are three types of small-scale, and the natural minor scale does not change the notes in the key signature shown.
In the harmonic minor scale, the seventh note of the scale is raised by half. In the A-th harmonic scale, G becomes G acute.

The third type of minor scale is the melodic minor scale. This one is a bit tricky, because it is different ascending than descending. (All scales discussed previously are the same ascending and descending.) In the melodic minor scale, the sixth and seventh notes of the scale are raised by a half-step going up and return to their original pitch, as indicated by the key signature, on the way down.

2024.05.28 02:39 aImondpocky Do dyslexic people who read/write in non-latin alphabets with lots of stroke lines struggle more with reading/writing?

I'm talking about Chinese, Japanese, etc languages. Since there can be much more strokes to write than the Latin alphabet, would dyslexic people from those countries struggle more? Or would it be a same amount?
And what about dyslexic people in Ancient Egypt, for example? Since hieroglyphs are pictographs, would they then be more easy to read? Or does dyslexia have to do less with complexity of letters/characters/symbols, and more of the brain struggling to interpret them, regardless of language?
