I tried posting this yesterday and it didn’t work, so I’m hoping it works now. I read this sub wasn’t just for grieving passed loved ones, but also for people we just parted with in life for whatever reason. I was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar to what I’ve experienced so here’s my story:
4 years ago, I lost my best friend. He didn’t die, he ghosted me. He and I were in a way perfect for each other. No romance between us, he was gay, and I’m female. We hung out together often, and texted each other a lot. We could talk about anything and we totally understood each other. When the pandemic hit, he and I could no longer go out, I wanted to have video chat dinners with him, but he refused. We instead just called and texted each other. Eventually, he and I safely met in my home, and had a socially distanced dinner together. It was still the same lovely relationship, even though we hadn’t seen each other in months.
A couple of months after this face to face dinner, he slowly starts changing. He’d go off on me while texting, spelling in all caps, pissed off over stupid things. Our favorite singer had just released an album at the time, and since he and I were both fans, we listened to it then compared notes later in the day. He told me he wasn’t a fan of it and I agreed that I wasn’t either. He immediately started getting mad at me for not liking her music. I didn’t understand why he was yelling at me over something so silly. I didn’t bash her, and I still love her and her other music, I just wasn’t a fan of that particular album. I stopped responding when I asked him why he was starting an argument over something so minor, and he told me he didn’t know. I went to bed with him still blowing up my phone about me being a horrible person for not liking her new music. I didn’t want to engage in such a stupid argument, so I figured in a few days we’ll be okay again, and he was just upset at something else and took it out on me. Wrong he did that, but whatever. I didn’t get an apology once we started talking again days later.
Time passes and he starts again, starting arguments over stupid stuff again. I figured the pandemic was really hurting him, and I had nothing but sympathy for him. It was impacting me too, but I wasn’t taking it out on him. I was always his shoulder to cry on and comforted him, I had no problem with this. After like a couple of months of him starting petty arguments, I get fed up of being his emotional punching bag. I tell him in a kind way that he never apologizes to me, I’m tired of being called names, and being screamed at. He apologizes, but says that the album thing broke the camel’s back and we’re not compatible as friends.
I started crying. My best friend in the whole world, was telling me he didn’t want to be friends with me anymore because of some singer’s album. I tell him I’m crying (we were texting at that time) and that I love him and miss him so much, does he not even love me back? I was freaking out cause I didn’t understand how in the world it had come to this. Our friendship was years old, not months. He and I had been through a lot together, I was always there for him and he was always there for me. We were two peas in a pod. He told me it was complicated, he loved me, and that he’d be going to bed for the night since he had an early morning. I told him that I hoped in the morning he still remembered me.
After these last texts, a week passed with no communication from either me or him, and I figured things between us had cooled down, so I texted him, asking if he was okay. He never answered. I’ve never heard from him at all to this day. I knew he was alive cause I had a friend who worked at the same place he did, different departments. They weren’t and still aren’t friends to this day, she said she’d see him at work and he’d awkwardly wave at her. She’d wave back, but she was always pissed off when she saw him for the pain he caused me. She works somewhere else now, so she no longer runs into him.
I miss him, and have never found someone I connect with as well as I connected with him. I still love him, and I sometimes dream of him. I’m sure he doesn’t think about me at all, and never cried over me. I feel like I’m going to grieve our friendship forever. I truly thought he’d be the uncle to my future children and I’d be the aunt to his future children. I thought I’d be the best woman at his wedding and he’d be the man of honor at mine. I’m probably better off since he turned into a toxic person, but it’s hard not having someone in your life that you still love and they’re alive. I have made new friends since, so it’s not like I’ve never moved on, I just have never had another best friend. I never really understood why he left, I assume the pandemic was messing with his head; It messed with mine, and I’m not saying I was this perfect person who never got mad or anything.
Has anybody gone through something similar? Does the pain ever go away? Did you ever get closure?
I was inspired to write this post after watching ‘Mother of the Bride’ recently. It’s about two exes who haven’t seen each other in years reuniting, because the kids they had in different relationships are getting married to each other. I started wondering if my future kid would meet his future kid or niece/nephew (since he was almost a second parent to them) would meet and we’d see each other again.

It's been two months today of my breakup & one month of no contact. It's weird that today I was watching a show "maxton hall" on prime, doing that a lot these days to distract my mind. Paused it in the middle & got me thinking somehow that, the day he broke up with me, while breaking up with me, he was yelling at me.. screaming at me, so rude, so cold. He was this whole another person. I kept calling him & texting him and this was his text - it's over 😊, yep with a smily emoji. Next day i couldn't even wake up. I was alone at home & got a panic attack. I actually figured it out today that it was a panic attack. And I was having those panic attacks continuously for a month. Even after all these feelings for him, i just don't feel like talking to him anymore, or reaching out to him. Everything's blank now...I said sorry to him so many times when it wasn't even my mistake. I regret it now...putting my ego & self respect aside to fix the relationship..I regret it now. Knowing that he is out there talking to someone else, flirting with someone else, I regret everything now..... But I am glad it happened, I can see him now for what he is, for who he is & the person he choose to be. I don't regret loving him though... Wanted to send him a long text...but it doesn't matter now i guess..... P.s. please suggest some new movies or shows u guys are watching

Immersive Engineering Sandbox

We offer a very advanced, high precision build and engineering system with small resizable blocks from 25 cm to 4 meters. XenonCode

We have developed a new programming language designed to be easy to learn and optimal for in-game virtual computers. The game has a built-in cooperative editor with syntax highlighting and multi-cursor support, as well as a node-based visual editor to facilitate scripting.

Adventure Mode

In this mode, you begin with nothing in your backpack. You have to gather resources and craft everything you need. Native Ray-Tracing

Our innovative renderer is fully ray-traced with a great performance. This is not a eye-candy, it's actually a necessary feature for this game to even exist, because of its dynamic nature. Since the content will be mostly user-created and it's set to be moddable out-of-the-box, we cannot afford any artist-driven baked lighting, and with the full scale aspects with customizable solar system, we need the sun(s) lighting to be completely dynamic based on the real-time scenario, instead of tweaking shadow maps and reflection probes manually like other games do. The entire scene is rendered in a single ray-tracing pass with many recursive light bounces. This allows for realistic hard shadows, perfectly reflective mirrors and physically correct refractions. Just make sure you have an NVIDIA RTX graphics card and you're good to go.

Space Sim

The final goal of this game is to be a Full Scale Space Sim with the entire solar system. At the moment we have the Earth and the Moon, Orbital Mechanics and Re-Entry effects based on velocity. There is no artificial speed limit, so you can actually orbit realistically at 8 km/s. You can also dock with your friend's ship while in orbit, if you're good.
We have great plans for this game, and we swear by our 5 commandments:

1. Thou shall obey physics

It's NOT arcade-style and we do not underestimate our players. You must understand science or be willing to learn some physics. The game features realistic 6-dof space physics without any artificial speed limit. As far as we know, it's the only multiplayer space sim where you can dock with your friend's space station while in space at Full Orbital Velocity. This game is NOT meant to be a dogfight-style space shooter because that would not be practical with realistic physics.

2. Thou shall not see "Loading..."

Seamless transitions, no loading screens, EVER! From ground to orbit to another planet... it's all seamless. The game also happens to "load" pretty much instantly... For reference, in our Quadcopter video, the recording started BEFORE the game's executable was launched.

3. Thou shall not hit a wall

No fake boundaries. No skyboxes. No predefined paths. IT's a true Open World game, and it's all full scale. If you see a mountain, it's not a texture... You can just walk there and climb it if you have the courage... But I would just build a Rover or some kind of aircraft to get there faster. The moon that you see from the surface of Earth is the actual moon's terrain that you will land on, if you manage to build a good enough rocket, that is. The stars you see are individually rendered points in 3D space. It's not a skybox. But let's be honest you won't ever be able to reach another star.

4. Thou shall not be Thee

Immersive, first person controls and no cutscenes. There will NEVER be a point where the player loses control of their avatar to a cutscene or to some long animation. This game will keep a focus on First Person Immersion. Even though there is a 3rd person view available, it's mostly for taking screenshots, the game is not meant to be played this way.

5: Thou shall make sense

Everything has a realistic purpose based on science. Nothing should be fake, and in-game technologies must be at least plausible with some math behind it. This means that there is no such thing as magical artificial gravity. There are only two ways to have gravity in your spaceship when you're in space:

• Constant Acceleration: Players inside an accelerating ship do feel gravity realistically, and there is no artificial sublight speed limit as opposed to most (if not all) other multiplayer space sims.
• Centrifugal Forces: Yes you can also build a rotating station and you will have realistic "gravity" sensation like you would expect.

Also, there will be no Faster Than Light space travel. The math for a plausible Warp Drive would not allow that, but will let you multiply your acceleration quite a bit, in a way that you can travel up to 99% the speed of light.

Finished reading up to the current Volume of the LN and wanted to share my thoughts on the series as a whole and where I think it may go from here.
I became aware of this season when season 1 first aired through social media and decided to watch the show up until the end of the first season. After it ended, I had to know more and so I looked and found out about the light novel. I was hooked ever since.
My thoughts on the first year were pretty good because the mystery of the school, the students and the MC kept me interested and it was very refreshing having a main character not allow himself to be bullied by his friends or act like a stereotypical virgin whenever a women would talk to him.
I found the beginning to do a very good job of keeping people on their toes as even though this is based in Highschool and has a battle royale based premise, it uses different games then your typical battle royal clone and allows you to basically view how it’s played through the eyes of the protag Kiyo.
Another thing that makes Kiyo interesting is that while he does boast internally that he knows everything on a level that would surpass some of the smartest college students in Japan, he does not immediately flaunt or trivialize the games to the point where there isn't any tension with each game.
Another thing I enjoy is that though it’s a team-based Battle royale, the fact that you get to know the leader of each team and they slowly grow to know Kiyo makes it interesting and sets up potential conflicts of interest before the first year is even halfway over. Personally, I like all of the other class leaders a good bit. I enjoy Ryuuen especially because he still remains true to his nature, but he takes advice from the person who beat him using just as morally questionable tactics as him and works to fine tune those morally questionable tactics so that he doesn't get beat because he is sloppy on his approach. I enjoy Ichinose battle with her "horrible" shop lifting past as much as an American can sympathize on something most over here would consider very minor in terms of criminality. While I can't obviously say it's just fine, I also feel at times it's overblown but again I'm American and at some point, we've all pocketed a pack of gum or added an extra item to our shopping cart we didn't ring up. She is a genuinely good person which is enjoyable when the other people portrayed as rivals are just as likely to stab you in the front as well as they would in the back. While the main goal is to graduate from Class A because somehow everything you ever need in life will somehow be given to you, the thought of making sure everyone makes it to the finish line is a good goal on its own knowing how easy it is for people to be expelled. I Don't mind Arisu but truthfully up until the most recent chapters, she was honestly hard to relate to even more than Kiyo because every time she's on screen she always has a smug grin as if everything is already taken care of and no matter what, she will come out on top. while its charismatic it can kinda drive off any sense of connection. I'm happy she starts getting humbled later on, but it takes a long time.
The series threw me for a loop when they focused heavily on Horikita in the beginning only to seemingly drop her to a side character for the rest of the arc until Kiyo dealt with Ryuuen. It honestly felt like she wasn't that important anymore, so I was pleasantly surprised how she slowly made her way back into the sub-protag role throughout the rest of the 2nd year. I don't really like Horikita compared to most of the other characters, but it speaks more highly to the other characters than anything wrong with her. My reasons for disliking her a little more than the other characters maybe stem from the fact we see more of her than anyone else and could have changed if she was more of a side character than one of the main focuses of the series. I do think that she gradually gets better as a character or more dynamic would be the better way to phrase it, I still think she is very flawed or at least she is written flawed, but the story seems to make things conveniently workout in her favor whenever she desperately needs it. I will say that I find that some of my favorite characters are legitimately side characters some of which have just recently showed up or showed up and went away for a long period of time after. Case in point Tsubaki from class 1-c she is basically kiyotaka but not overpowered like he is. We get a lot of Nanase in the beginning of the second-year arc but basically after the deserted Island exam she barely shows up anymore her split personality also just goes away. Kiryuuin Is also one of my favorites and she is sparingly gets in the story but when she does, she is very interesting and I'm sad that in a few more books she'll probably complete disappear from the story. I was never high on some characters like Kei, Nagumo, Matsushita ( mostly because why isn't she revealing this secret hidden talent that she said she had in the first year) and Manabu. I know Manabu might be a hot take, but I personally feel like his whole schtick about not telling Horkitia that he does love her but wants her to do her own thing for an entire year was so stupid because he just needed to call her to the student council office and literally have the conversation at ANY point in the year why wait till the end. I'm glad that he gives Kiyo a goal or maybe project he wants to complete before he meets Monabu again but other than that he was a blander Kiyotaka.
On that note a few things that have bothered me as the story has gone on,

1. I’m not going to say anything even though I could because then people would look at me weird. And we can’t have that?
   
2. I won't reveal where you came from even though it would be the most detrimental thing, I could do to you whether people believe it or not, but I won't because I never intended to use it as a tactic no matter what. why not?
   
3. You betrayed us and kicked our friend out of the school so I'm going to dropout so we lose but I will wait for a week or so to do it because I wanted to see the festival first. huh? Why wait for something stupid like that? You're already planning on Jeopardizing your whole class but decide to wait because of a festival that theoretically doesn't matter anymore. Not only that but the fact that you don't leak what happened that caused the friend to be expelled while you waited to expel yourself, further causing an issue for them when you are gone, just doesn't make any sense at all.
   
4. Horikita has lucked into some of the most micky mouse wins I've ever seen. Like I said before the plot sometimes seems to not make sense in a real word aspect but because the other can control how 120 kids always behave you can give bad reasons for something to work out and it always will because the plot needed it to. I really truly feel like that exam where Sakura was expelled was damn good all the way up until her best friend decided not to follow through with her plans to sink the class in retaliation. There was literally nothing anyone could have done to stop her or Kushida from sinking the class once the exam was over. I truly thought it would have been checkmate for the class and maybe you shift away from class 2-D the same way it feels like Kiyo is doing now and consider it a failed experiment. I would have LOVED it if she flunked the class even though Kiyo and Horikita did everything possible to bring them close to being class A. Actions have consequences, you expelled my friend and not the traitor and making excuses that it work out if Kushida complies from that point forward. OK fine I'll screw everyone like they screwed my good friend by dropping out willingly. Could you imagine the fallout knowing you failed even if you made the right decision in that moment. Basically, halfway through the second year 1 class has officially lost the race but just like Nagumo said, it's still possible to transfer out of a class to a different one so it doesn't mean the story ends for Kiyotaka or any of the students, but that class has lost.
   
5. Koenji is literally my least liked character in the series at this point and it's strictly based off what I THINK will happen in the future. The author has done absolutely zero to give backstory to Koenji and why he is so good at everything. Zilch. At least as unreasonable as it sounds, we know why Kiyo and the other white room students are so broken. The most we know about Koenji is that he is a blonde Adonis who studied in China and for some reason just laps everyone at everything. My thoughts on this are that if and when Kiyo decides to leave the class, Horikita and by proxy (Koenji) will be the final boss.
   

I don't like 4 the most and 5 the second most because it starts to make you doubt any haymakers are coming that legitimately don't feel like an asspull anymore. I can't be engrossed in the story if I feel like Horikita is going to be the final boss. I can't be engrossed in the story if I know that Horikita is going to use Koenji to actually make it hard for Kiyo to win that final round. I can't feel engrossed if I have a feeling one of the leaders is about to be expelled or completely sidelined for some completely stupid reason so that we can get this obvious conclusion started. That's why I can stand those last two points I didn't see Kiyo allowing Kei to get beat up and tortured multiple times to further his goals or plots. I didn't foresee a not so random secret agent being planted in the school and immediately striking Kiyo while he's talking with Arisu the daughter of the man he just ousted. I didn't foresee Kiyo convincing one of his would be rivals to come back to the school because it would be a little boring if that class completely fell apart without him to lead it. I didn't foresee Kiyotaka making as many "friends" the way he has since the start of series and most of those relationships feel natural which is why it has been fun following Kiyo and the people he encounters.
Overall, I'm happy with this series and it has made me look for more LNs to fill in my time while we wait for more to come out.

Tldr; I like almost everything but the things that I dislike are becoming more prevalent in the story than in the beginning.

Hey guys, I have a small powerwashing video and have tried many times to create a google business profile, I have an email, website, and no in person location as I go to customers directly. I am not aware of any violations of the guidelines, but It has never been officially published. Since they have no people to speak to I can never get any actual feedback on what the issue is with the profile, anytime I request a review it just says review the guidelines and its not eligible. Has anyone had similar experiences and have advice? Any way to have an actual person give feedback from googe?

Back again. first one got taken down for mention "another sub". Sorry, long long time lurker, hardly know how post anything at all.
Alright, with all of Roaring Kitties cryptic tweets and GIF's it's hard to make heads or tales of it all. But he did say to watch what he says closely. To look for the signs. Well the only content still pinned on Roaring Kitty's twitter is his 5 min video explaining why he saw value in GameStop, AS WELL AS, Michael Burry's Scion fund seeing the same thing and having a position in GameStop around 2%. DFV has money sure, but he doesn't have enough money or influence to move the markets in any way. But he does know that Michael Burry, being the guy who predicted the housing market collapse and coming away with a lot of money from it, might be someone to watch and ride their coat tails so to speak.
So with that, I'm going to dive down that rabbit hole and see what I can find, and report back here. If anyone else wants to look as well and add their findings that would be awesome!
Kansas City Shuffle/Closing the door on "blonde boy" Meme -
I found this letter from 2019 to GME management from Michael Burry's Scion fund. It's a quick read, check it out. The main points are talking about a share buyback when they had $237M for a buyback and how Burry thought that would be the most beneficial thing for shareholders. He also specifically talks about the extreme trading volume being equal to float over the course of a MONTH. He thought that was insane, now were trading the float in mere day(s). He was also interested in the short interest being at 63% in July that year. While high, is not nearly as high as we've seen it before. He goes on to complain about management (This was before R. Cohen came in JUNE of 2021).
So tin foil brain storm session based off that real quick. DFV telling us to look for signs. Has his video pinned, mentions Burry and his Scion fund. He also said watch what he says carefully and pay attention, and mentions the Kansas City Shuffle. Then the sicario meme about to execute "blonde hair boy". I think he might be alluding to Burry being a player behind this, or at least that maybe Burry knows something and has been setting up for this move as well. Or that Burry's original message and plan from this letter was sound. More importantly though, I think DFV is giving the middle finger to "blonde hair boy" because of all their distracting talking about some other stupid ticker because of insane short interest numbers right now. But if we've all been watching carefully, we know that those SI% numbers are basically meaningless, if the market makers want them to be. And after the 2021 sneeze, MM's notice the habits of us apes at the time. They realized that high SI numbers make our mouths water. Especially on stocks that are pennies on the dollar. But THAT is the Kansas City Shuffle! As someone expanded on in a different post, the KC Shuffle has the three parts, of knowing its a con, trying to beat the con, which ultimately makes the victim fall for the con. Strong Paraphrasing there. But the idea is, us APE's know were in a conned/rigged market, the MM know that we know. So we think we've found the key, the secret. Screwing shorts is our game now right? " Fine fine, that's cool" says the market maker, "how bout you go look at this tasty 90% SI stock over here then." Ape's being regarded, some will get distracted. With the amount of just BS noise surrounding RK's tweets and all over the place brought about the "so they want to be Sicario's" tweet. - Basically, he's saying ignore the noise, don't be distracted with "tasty" looking numbers. Look at GME, focus on GME, watch for the signs, HOLD.
Extra box of tin foil coming out - RC joined the team as chairman in JUNE of 2021. Almost exactly 3 years ago. Now I really don't know much here, but I know there's vestment periods for CEO's and board members of companies. Wouldn't it be something if there was a very long vestment period of 3 years for a very large position RC could take. Granted, again, IDK much about how vested vs nonvested shares work in the actual scheme of things. Just an interesting thought.

Everything but a keyboard and mouse. I’ve already got a basic office kbm set, so I can wait to upgrade them. Headset also isn’t necessary, but if you can squeeze it in the budget, it’s fine.

I live in the US, in North Carolina. The closest Microcenter is 2 hours from where I live, so I doubt I’ll be making the trip out there, unless it’s absolutely worth it.

Lenovo keyboard, mouse doesn’t say, so it must’ve been cheap. Both are probably old.

I’m not entirely sure, does that mess with the PC? If it has any negative effects on it, then no, probably not.

Nothing urgent. If it’s something I can add after I’ve already built the PC, I’m not worried about it right now.

Extra info or particulars:

I really don’t need anything fancy. I’ve been playing at a maximum of 30 fps, 1080p for most of my life. If that’s the best that I can get with this budget, I’m perfectly fine with that. I’d also like to know if there are any reliable places that can build the PC for me if I send them the parts. Service fee can be outside of the budget.

So basically nobody buy anything 🤣💁🏼‍♀️ She has way too many bans, reports, controversy with her pages to actually be monetized for engagement. Not to mention the fact she gets next to no engagement on her videos in the first place. I would be willing to bet big money that she contacted the people she bought that jumpsuit from MONTHS ago and they gave her a commission link. She may be able to buy other things from TikTok shop and get links for those as well but I don’t see anybody buying bc she promotes it lol. TikTok shop links and commission is totally separate from monetization on your whole account for your engagement/numbers. She is either knowingly being deceptive with how she’s wording things or she is just doesn’t get it, I would guess intentional manipulation to make folks think she is more important than she is. She makes no content to monetize 🙄 All she does is a duet here and there making dumb ass faces at the camera or one of her emotionally scarring dancing videos that I wish she would spare us with. Her numbers are nowhere near what they need to be to be monetized and the “health” of her account as far as bans, constant reports, videos taken down, is not good either. Just my two cents💕

Very happy and excited for my trip to China of 1 month this summer planning to visit the following cities: Just to name a few, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Xi’An, Chongqing and more!
I want to make my trip as simple as possible and I heard that most places do not take cash, that it’s mostly done via Wechat or Alipay.
I would love to use those apps to pay for stuff but the problem is I don’t have a Chinese phone number and I can’t have anyone (such as family or friend) lend me one. This leads to two questions:
1) Is there any reliable phone carriers in China I could get at an affordable price for one month? (That includes Internet too obviously)
If so, can I order the SIM card to Canada or I can only get one on the spot once I’m in China?
2) If I get access to an app allowing me to pay with my phone, can I link it to my Canadian credit card? Is there any additional fees? Or is it better to link debit card?

I'm hoping to get some advice from the lovely folk here, I'm a sensitive soul, tend to overthink, and sometimes outside input helps me to see different perspectives and how I could deal with a situation!
So, long story short, I (21f) have a friend (20f) (I'm not sure if ages are important for this but I'll state them anyway), who I do love dearly. She's a new friend, and we became friends after our boyfriends, who are best friends, introduced us. Needless to say we instantly clicked, and we hang out on the regular. (So we're not just friends because of our boyfriends anymore, we're legit friends in our own time, if that makes sense).
We like to plan a lot of double dates together. And everytime we've all gone we're all, all 4 of us, are already planning to go to the next one! We honestly have an amazing time.
Now, the situation is: this friend and I have been planning a trip for ages, and she's been sending me tiktoks and things about the place for so long. I was so hyped! We agreed the 4 of us would go and one of the guys drive lol.
The other night, I saw she posts on her story that....she's booked the place with just her boyfriend. The other day we had been talking about this place, and the next day she's booked it for her and her bf. She then booked another place (and posted on her story) we said we'd all go to.
I told my boyfriend and he was really confused. She's proceeded to text me like nothings happened. I'm really confused and hurt because she's been hyping this place up to me for so long, but now she's decided to ditch those plans without telling me to just go with her bf? Am I overthinking something here?
She's never mentioned to me that she maybe just wanted to go her and him (which I would've been cool with) but I feel a bit...ditched? Two places we did all collectively agree on.
How do I approach this situation? She's acted in ways before that don't really consider how other people feel (saying she's either forgetful or sometimes hinting she's even proud of just doing her own thing without caring what ANYone else thinks).
I really like her, we're so meant for each other in every other way!
But I'm so upset and confused by this. I feel like it was weird to get us all/me excited about this, then decide she'll just go with someone else.

So me and this algerian girl have been getting to know each other for the purposes of marriage and it came to a point where we felt we should meet each others families . i met her family first. first her brother then father then mother and younger siblings alhamdullilah everything went well and then it was her turn to meet my family and my brothers have been amazing in welcoming her to the family but my two sisters and one cousin thats always around when she is not doing balloons on weekends have been anything but cordial. the cousin called my girl abu lahab even, my two sisters are denying that they are doing anything wrong. i told them i am not even inviting you guys to the wedding if you dont start behaving yourselves. I am well off so we are having a big wedding cause why not and i really wanted it to be a spectacle for both families and now that might be ruined. Am i in the wrong ?

Hello everyone, here's a rundown of what I've encountered/done so far:

• Managed to reach the captain, but he's already dead.
• My sole companion at the moment is the little girl.
• Talked to:
  • The guy at the start and bought the potion of life.
  • To the mage? at the library but he was gone after I came back
  • To the person that shoots an arrow when meeting you.
  • Bought 2 maps from some guy
  • Also to the two guys, one of which gives you coins for killing that guy in the prison, but later they are gone.
• I know about the merchant that wants kids at floor 4 I believe, where the dog is across the bridge.
• Also the ball of body parts that also wants kids, but I think that I'll sacrifice the girl on other playtrough.
• I am using the cursed beginning weapon of the mercenary + the girl uses cursed dagger.
• Significant enemies (scary looking ones lol) that i haven't killed:
  • the flying stone mother?
  • the huge smough guy at the beginning,
  • that crow guy with the serrated weapon arm.
  • the amphibious? creature that comes out of the water if you try to grab an item
• Normal enemies that i haven't killed:
  • those ghost guys in the mines
  • the other enemies that kill you with a heart attack.
• I have seen 2 sex villages/ zones, but still haven't interracted with them, cuz don't know if it will affect something with the gods, but will do on next playtrough if they aren't mandatory currently
• Have found the door that requires a cube.
• Have found that guy that wants to become a butterfly.
• Have found that underground village right next to that guy above.
• Did read that book that gave me a save file

You can ask me about the progress too, because I am most likely forgetting more stuff. I have played for around 4 hours.
So yeah, what to do now? Try killing the big enemies/ begin another playtrough with same/different class. Or do you have any other tips/ helpful ideas.
Also sorry if similar questions have been asked here, but I don't want to search that much in order not to spoil myself. So any light/ non-spoiler tips are very helpful.

Well, if my last post about Wireguard wasn't justification enough for my sometimes lack of common sense then this might surely confirm that sentiment.
My current setup is an HP Z600 workstation with 96G ram and 2 mirrored pairs of 20tb drives that, frankly, was fine, but, like most of us, it's never enough so I went ahead and bought a Dell R730xd 12 bay server which was delivered to me yesterday. A piece of hardware which I probably have no business using with my relative little knowledge of Truenas and complete lack of knowledge with enterprise class servers. Anyways, lets give it a shot, right.
My goal is to simply be able to move my current Truenas Scale setup from my HP Z600 to the Dell R730xd. That's it. Unfortunately, my assumption that this was going to be a simple task (based on some videos I saw) was incorrect, to say the least.
These are the specs: Dell PowerEdge R730XD 12LFF 2SFF 2x E5-2667v4 3.2GHz =16 Cores 384GB H730 4xRJ45 (received) Dell P2R3R PERC HBA330 12G SAS HBA Mini Mono Controller (on order) Dell 064PJ8 Intel X550-T4 Quad-Port 10GB RJ-45 Network (on order, but possible frivolous purchase)
Somehow last night, based on more videos and posts I read, I believed that I could somehow change the H730 raid controlled to work in HBA mode. So, I went ahead and basically tore apart my existing HP machine, pulled all the drives and installed them into the Dell server. 4 x 20tb 3.5 drives into bays 1-4 in the front and one 2.5 SSD into one of the 2 rear bays for the operating system. Fired up the jet fighter (aka server) and after installing some ear plugs, began my venture into iDrac. WTH, I had no clue where to begin and became quickly frustrated and overwhelmed. So, while searching through different menus I was googling what each meant. My first instinct was to see if the Dell server was recognizing my drives so I finally found the menu the showed attached drives, and nothing! It said no drives found. Now what! Well, this is where the lack of common sense starts to take effect. Turns out that I installed the drives incorrectly. The side of the caddy is marked with screw holes at SAS and SATA points, so I went ahead and decide to install the drives using the SATA screw holes. This was obviously the wrong way. When the caddies were fully inserted and locked into place the drives sat about 1/2 inch away from the rear backplane connectors. So they weren't even connected!!!! Talk about a rookie mistake. Thankfully I can laugh about it now. I never did figure out how to change controller to HBA mode.
Anyways, to not drag this story on too much longer, it was getting really late and I decided to just wait for the HBA330 to arrive before I went any further so I pulled all the drives out of the Dell and reinstalled them, back into the HP, as I needed the server up and running.
Hopefully this won't be too difficult to switch over to the new Dell server, but there are a couple of concerns/questions?

1. Other posts have mentioned that Truenas Scale doesn't work very well with H730 switched to HBA mode which is why I purchased an HBA330. Is there anything else to do after installing the HBA330 or will it just work as is?
   
2. This Dell server was listed with coming with 4 x 1Gb ethernet ports daughter card, but actually came with 2 x 1Gb ports and 2 x 10Gb ports. Not sure if this is correct or not but for some reason when I plug a standard ethernet cable into the 1Gb ports they go in and click/lock in place, but when I plug the same cable into any of the 10Gb port they go in but don't lock into place. They just fall out. Am I missing something? Is this normal or are they broken or do 10Gb ports require a different connector. I've never worked with 10G ports before, but assumed they were the same as 1Gb port.
   
3. Can I boot Truenas Scale OS directly from the rear 2.5 drives and will the system automatically recognize the OS to boot? I would like to reinstall Truenas Scale on two 2.5 SSD drives in mirror using the two rear drives and then import my settings as per instructions.
   

Guess that's all I have for now until the parts arrive and I roll the dice one more time. Hopefully with more luck.

I have a nice Deathwish deck I use him in but I have a few questions:

• what are the best cards to use with him (duh lol)
  
• is his first form or second form better? Is there no way to use both?
  
• can Arachas Queen be used well on him?
  

I have two other Deathwish decks that feel way better (Viy and one that triple summons the big cyclops), can’t tell if I’m just not using Dagon well or what.

Seems like a fun card but I also feel like I’m missing something.

So basically my wife’s ex(David 36M) is kind of a man whore. Including my wife, he has had kids with 4 different women for a total of 5 kids. Probably will have more on the way. Not a fan of him. But it was his birthday recently and he tries to have a good relationship with his kids while wanting his kids to get to know their half siblings, so his current wife put together a party and invited his ex’s and all the kids. My wife wants her two kids from David to have a good relationship with their half siblings as well so we agreed to go.
So we’re at the party and David’s two other ex’s are there as well with their current husbands/bfs. It’s an alright time. Kinda awkward for me. At one point David wanted a group photo with all his kids and their mothers. My wife rolls her eyes and is like whatever, might as well. So they get into the group photo, all the kids in the front and adults in the back. His other two ex’s are doing half kneels in front but slightly to the side of David while he puts his arm around my wife and his current wife. I’m boiling red with anger, like who does this guy think he is? And why is my wife fine with this? Maybe it was just in my head but the other husband’s look upset too I thought and I don’t blame them, fucking looks like this guy has a harem with our wives. I’m not gonna cause a scene so I leave it at that.
Later on, back home, I tell my wife she shouldn’t have let him put his arm around her. She said people put their arms around each other all the time in group photos snd it doesn’t mean anything. I told her the way he was doing it snd how he was posed with all the other women he’s slept with made with look like some guy showing off his harem so I thought it looked inappropriate. She let loose on me and said I’m being fucking ridiculous/insecure. We argue back and forth for a while, do not come to a mutual understanding. Wife is still clearly pissed off at me. AITAH?

Been replaying New Vegas lately, as many of you probably have been. This is my first time though fully finishing it.
It's been great, but its made me think of how my first attempt went. I was aiming for a caveman. Most points being fed into unarmed, survivalist, medicine, and one/two handed melee. No intellegence. No allegiances. Butt naked.
This seemed like a decent way of going about it. I thought Benny was going to be the main focus since it seemed like such a universal goal to hunt after the guy who shot you in head and just have crazy stuff happen along the way.
Grug #6 was a little disappointed when it turns out the game forces this narrative that all of a sudden my barely literate caveman gives a shit about what happens to the strip/mojave. This and the fact my build was coming apart at the seams, I dropped it for a while.
I'm now playing a much safer guns/luck/speech build and am nearly at the end of both the DLC and campaign. Its been awesome.
But I was wondering, has anyone made a mod where you can cut to credits with an (eat the chip) mod for low intelligence builds after looting Benny?
If not, how difficult do you assume making this myself would be?

Ivaxa has been well known for his high BPM stream plays along with his obscene singletapping skills over the course of a few weeks at the time of writing. His most notable achievement is his S rank on Deceit [pishi’s Extra] +DT (Score) (Replay). However there is some unusual behavior that Ivaxa has that should be looked into. This thread will look into quite a few cases of these weird findings.
As of the current date, May 16th, 2024, we have collected enough information to submit our public review of Ivaxa’s activity. We are asking the osu! staff and other independent researchers to validate our information and proof-check every single aspect of it. If our findings would be proven to be incorrect and/or not substantial - that's completely fine. Our goal is not to just blindly accuse but to establish the truth.
This document contains currently collected information about Ivaxa, his scores, profiles, and potential connections to other “alt” accounts in the game. We, as an independent team, are trying to establish the legitimacy or lack thereof of said player.
As always, harassment of any of the people mentioned/involved in the report is inappropriate. Please be civil when partaking in the discussion.
Replays, and VODs can be found in a google drive at the end of the thread so you can investigate and see moments listed in the thread yourself.
But first, here's a few things to consider:

1. Ivaxa’s mouse is a HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2, he allegedly plays on 800 DPI with a 0.62x sens multiplier on osu!. The only reason as to why it’s alleged is because of his recent streams, his sensitivity seems higher than it actually is.
2. He plays with a Sayu O3C keypad that runs at 8000hz (Peripheral information can be found from Ivaxa’s Twitch channel.)
3. He is able to singletap 191 BPM streams consistently.
4. Ivaxa used to be a DT aim player, not much of a stream player until recently.
5. The player does have skill, however he may be using some sort of outside assistance software-wise like aim assist or relax hacks.
6. All replays in this thread were inspected using Circleguard.
7. Most of the information down below was conducted in the empirical (perceived) sense, so take all of it with a grain of salt.

Section one: Replays

There are a few moments within Ivaxa’s recent replays that felt unusual or very strange; mostly unusual edge hits, but also weird UR bar behavior.
The Deceit +DT
There are a few things to mention about this score. The first is an unusual UR bar behavior from 91076 ms (~1 minute 31 seconds) to 93123 ms (~1 minute 33 seconds). The UR bar looks like this in the end. This type of UR bar behavior is often found in 125 hz keyboards with a map that has a BPM that is a multiple of 125 (125 BPM, 250 BPM, 375 BPM, etc.). However, Ivaxa doesn’t use a 125hz keyboard or keypad, he uses one that is rated at 8000hz. This is rather unusual since this type of UR is only found in this section of the map only. Also, if he were to play on a 125hz keyboard/keypad, the type of UR that was shown above would be all over the map since the Deceit with DT is mostly 375 BPM.
The second would be his aim, particularly at around 1885 combo, his cursor shakes at an abnormal magnitude from the rest of the map. This shake can be caused by nerves, tapping strain of the left hand, or a mix of both. But, Ivaxa’s alleged sensitivity is so low that the shake that has been shown in the replay is either really hard to do or impossible.
Gotta go Fast +DTSO
This score has one thing that is quite suspicious. at 47582 ms (~48 seconds) into the map, an awkward edge hit is found where he over-aimed and seemingly snapped back to the circle. This kind of edge hit is something that a normal osu! player wouldn’t be able to hit entirely, especially at the speed at which the map is being played at. Another edge hit can be found in the same map at 28852 ms (~29 seconds), where the cursor doesn’t naturally curve at the end, instead snapping to the edge of the circle. Both cases may allude to the usage of some sort of aim assist.
Metal Crusher +DT
There are two things to note about this score, the first is some unusual cursor movement at the ending section of the map. Ivaxa’s cursor slightly follows the slider at 59128 ms (~59 seconds), and another right after at 60400 ms (~one minute). Movement like this paired with the speed at which the map is being played at just seems unusual/suspicious.
There are also five edge hits within the map, four out of the five edge hits are at the very edge of a circle. The probability of hitting these types of edge hits is rather low, especially when there are four of them in one map.

There is something to be said about some of the 100’s that Ivaxa is hitting. More specifically some 100’s within a few of the maps that have been observed so far are very near the barrier of being a 300 hit regardless of whether the note is early or late (https://i.imgur.com/cxFSdjf.png, https://i.imgur.com/bHLurZn.png). The sayu is precise enough to actually hit these types of 100’s, however it feels like these have occurred too often, so much so that this play has half of the 100’s in the map has these “edge 100’s,” for a lack of a better term. There are also two 100’s (100 #1 and 100 #2) that have been hit at exactly the same lateness/timing.

Section Two: Twitch Streams

The two pieces of information down below are more focused on his single tapping skills, along with some weird/suspicious moments during his stream.

At 15:37, Ivaxa is seen to be double tapping 270 bpm streams even though he S ranked the Deceit with DT around three days after said stream (390 BPM). At 49:15 mins of the same stream: he is seen to singletap 191 BPM streams, probably because he was warm when playing at his point.

On March 31st, 2024, on the VOD where he S ranked The Deceit +DT, at the end of the VOD at 2:58:42 Ivaxa is seen singletapping a 390 BPM burst. After which he paused the game and blamed Steam notifications. Despite the bottom half of his monitor being visible on stream through the webcam, where no steam notifications or pop-ups are visible, he then opened Steam to "change notifications settings.'' After allegedly changing the settings, his cursor trajectory on the visible parts of the monitor on stream tells us that he moved the mouse from the top most left corner, while usually Steam settings are located in a pop-up window at the center of the screen. Afterwards His stream allegedly "crashed."

On April 7th, 2024 Ivaxa showed on the osu! Game discord server that he is able to singletap 191 BPM (better picture of the graph), however six days later after the message, on his stream on April 13th, 2024 Ivaxa showed that he was able to singletap PoNo’s Yomi Yori 220 BPM streams at the end. This type of BPM jump in such a short amount of time can only be reasoned with by hardware abuse via rapid trigger. Either that, or some sort of relax hack that assists the player in tapping.

Section Three: Multiaccounting

There are many pieces of information that suspect that Ivaxa is multiaccounting, however there is currently no concrete evidence on whether or not he is indeed multiaccounting. Please keep this in mind when reading this section of the thread.
The Mulitiaccount & Play Count Graphs
Pipecat is the suspected multiaccount. First of all, both Pipecat and Ivaxa are placed 1st and 2nd on the osu!mania leaderboard in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland (This is done by using osu! subdivide nations). Both play count graphs also seem to compensate for each other as of 2024, April 4th (the graph for Ivaxa has been warped in order to have a better visualization).
Time-pp Scatter Chart & Best Performances
The same thing happens with their Best Performance Time-pp Scatter Chart from ameobea/osu!track (Pipecat's Mania Chart and Ivaxa's Mania Chart non warped). Both graphs seem to compensate for each other, especially at around the month of March, as of 2024, April 5th (again, Ivaxa's chart has been warped for better visualization of score submissions).
Speaking of pp, both accounts have similar maps in their best performances list (Ivaxa is on the left, Pipecat on the right). If you want to see more, just check their mania profiles.
This may ask the reason as to why Ivaxa hasn’t played any vsrg (Vertical Scrolling Rhythm Game), and yet his performance in mania is abnormal for his time played. As seen from the play count graph from above, Ivaxa would’ve most likely played mania first on the Pipecat account, and then proceeded to play mania again on the other.
Names/Naming Scheme & Last Seen
Their naming scheme can also be taken into account as, Ivaxa’s name was inspired by Vaxei, and Pipecat was inspired by Whitecat.
It is also worth noting that Ivaxa and Pipecat’s Last Seen times are near each other, being more or less one hour apart from each other.

This section is dedicated to the additional miscellaneous information and our speculation formed from the data we discovered during the process of the investigation. These entries are not verbosely written due to us not finding enough evidence/information to make them included in the previous sections.
For ease of understanding the entry's level of absurdity, we marked them with color tags. The marking process for each entry was completely subjective so even the most absurd ones could be a potential aid for independent investigators/osu! staff as an additional lead where we “hit the wall.”

Fact: BayOfEvil (Ivaxa’s old username), does have an osu!report on it, although the report isn’t very helpful. Fact: Ivaxa’s Mania score on Ne uchi +DT was set 22 days after his no-mod score.

Verdict

Ivaxa’s single tapping speed is very abnormal, especially considering that he was able to stream 220 BPM in just six days, starting from 191 BPM, all singletapped. His aim on some maps feels weird, and some edge hits are questionable in terms of legitimacy. The incident on his stream on March 31st of this year also felt suspicious and weirdly timed, as if he was covering something up. And Pipecat’s graphs line up in such a way that it seemingly compensated for Ivaxa’s play count, and pp-scatter chart. From the information that was gathered about Ivaxa, there is a likelihood that the player is cheating, via aim assist, partial relax, or a mix of both.
It is suggested/encouraged that you look into this yourself.

For Ivaxa stream mp4’s, each “part” is in one hour segments (because untwitch). So part 1 would be the first hour of a stream, part 2 would be the second hour of a stream, etc. There are some parts where it didn’t download the full hour, so be aware of that.
We’ve also included one of the “VOD analyzer” test result files, which includes cursor positions from an analyzed stream segment (#11 #2PL 1.3k pp achieved). It was a completely custom-coded solution that analyzed the video frame by frame but it wasn’t used during the investigation, so we are unsure about the accuracy of the cursor detection.

TLDR In Bottom

In Fo76 I have often had nice talks with people with mic. In Rainbow 6 it is a toxic shitshow when it comes to talking in mic. I play R6S on console and Fo76 on PC.
In Fo76 I had 3 very pleasant giveaways. The first one did not have mic but did the classic oh boy im so happy im gonna jump.
Second 2 guys sounded around my age if If I would guess, 30-50 years old, two friendly guys being thankful and we talked a bit about the game.
I have played Raimbow 6 alot but since a couple of years I always have teammates mic turned off. Today in competitive Ranked match I said nothing first because I wanted to check the vibe. I lost a 1on1.. big deal its a 50-50 situation basically. One young kid..13-16 i would guess taunted me for being a terrible player..i heard much worse but I mean I said nothing back.. Why should I spend my Thursday night "arguing" (uhm) with a brat that need to grow up basically before we maybe could talk years later lol. So for the rest of the match he got aggressive on 2 more guys for not playing like he wanted to.
He ended up third best on our team. (i was last, kill myself?...)
Sorry for maybe too much info about rainbow 6 but wanted to give context. I heard MUCH worse in Rainbow 6 often long time ago, it is still there today. Just todays example I gave for context to Fo76 being great today in that regard.

TLDR:

Talking with people in Fo76 = I have almost only good experience. Talking with people in Rainbow 6 Siege: I almost always have bad experiences.

What is your experience of the community in Fo76 and when you compare it to communites in other game(s) you like?

I realized it shows that women in general are not only delusional but exceptionally untrustworthy.
From day 1 the women got together and tried to systematically kick everyone out. Then one by one they came up with sob stories. They've lied, deceived and backstabbed the entire time and I'm only on episode 4.
The men on the other hand didn't want to vote out anyone unless there was a true bad apple.
And this Julie chick is absolutely disgusting. She votes out Symone then stands around agreeing with everyone about how someone voted her out. She's used the fact Jake likes her against him. Then she talks about how Bryce doesn't "deserve" to be there because he's rich. Ok, so a backstabbing, lying, manipulative chick deserves to be there but not a kid that's done well for himself just because he comes from money? Nobody in life deserves shit.
And don't get me started on the African sisters. Those two have plotted to kick everyone out since the moment they got into their room. Then the one with hair talks about how the guys are talking together by the pool and how "they made it that way". Then the one without hair is running around talking about how she's been disenfranchised her whole life and getting mad about Jake complimenting her.
Then there's the other chick that's been confiding in Bryce. Crying about what order she was put in during a challenge when they barely knew each other. Mama Jay is crying about misogyny.
This series just goes to show women complicate everything and when given the chance will do anything possible to fuck other people over. The men on the other hand understand all they had to do was stay together and they'd all win.

I'm currently drawing a comic, historical fiction, set during a siege in the early modern period. It's a fictional polish castle, under siege by german landsknechts. I'm looking for as much reference, preferably visual, of how the camps and siege trenches would be layed out, for when I draw the backgrounds. The tents, the market stalls and taverns with camp followers, all that stuff.
If any of you are up for it, i also have some more specific questions:

• The particulars of the conflict are currently left ambiguous, but out of curiosity, did a siege like this ever happen? From what i can tell, the prussians never layed siege to a polish castle during the danzig rebellion, which is the only example of landsknechts in poland that i could find. I'd love to look into any historical events similar to this.
  
• In the story, two young boys make a living as seamsters, patching clothing for the landsknechts. I thought of them as victorian shoeshine boys, but i understand shoeshine wasn't invented until the 1800s. Was there any equivalent before then, of having your shoes cared for with bee's wax or some such?
  
• One landsknecht pays the two boys for their services, a single coin. In terms of currency, what kind of coin would that be, in terms of the currency of the time and region? A guilder? A grochen?
  
• There is a battery of cannons in the camp. As it is written currently, the gunpowder is stored in barrels in an armory tent away form the cannons, but is it more likely that it would be kept in smaller sacks in a magazine, as on sailing ships for example? On another note, is it wierd to have the battery in the same location as the camp in the first place?
  
• I understand landsknechts generally weren't cavalrymen, but are there exceptions? Could officers or higher ranking military personel ride horses to or back home from a battle for example?
