I have a Fidelity Self Employed 401(k) that requires the filing of a form 5500EZ. New for 2023 form 500EZ filings is Part V, item 12. Item 12 requires details for the the Opinion letter date and Opinion Letter Serial Number if the Plan sponsor (Fidelity) is an adopter of a pre-approved plan that has received a favorable IRS Opinion Letter. Please advise as to the Opinion Letter Date and Serial Number so that I may properly complete the 2023 Form 5500EZ.
I have searched all the materials Fidelity has provided me for the Opinion letter to no avail. There is reference to the opinion letter in the Restated Plan Document No. 4. It is also noted that the plan is an IRS pre-approved plan. Vanguard, Schwab, and Ameritrade have copies of their plan Opinion letters available online with the relevant details for completion of the 2023 Form 5500 and 5500EZ.
Please help with the needed details regarding the plan or at least identify where I can find a copy of the opinion letter with the Opinion Date and the Opinion Letter serial number.

2024.05.14 22:36 spoon_jar I already feel like I’ve lead a full life at the age of 25. Fully at peace with dying. (LONG READ)

I plan on ending it in ~30 years, or when I become a burden on my friends and family.
Preface:
I know and understand I am extremely privileged. I’ve always had supportive parents and a safe place/roof over my head. I’ve faced hardships, but they’re a far cry from what others have dealt/are dealing with.
Context dump:
I grew up in a middle class family in England, born of two working class parents that managed to achieve a decent amount of social mobility and provide a comfortable childhood for my siblings and I. We weren’t spoiled in a material sense. We all went to local state schools, never had the latest games consoles, designer clothes, or ate fancy food. My parents chose to spoil us with experiences and travel, getting the opportunity to see the world and have a go at different activities.
I was gifted when it came to academics and flew through school in all the top classes, however choked when I got to my final years. As a result the university I went to wasn’t all that great. This along side other factors such as experimenting with drugs, developing an eating disorder and getting myself into a very toxic relationship (my ‘first love’) started my depression. When covid hit I dropped out and moved back home.
My depression persisted and got worse. I contemplated suicide frequently, however always knew it was never really something I’d go through with, at least not yet. In the meantime I started working in hospitality in my hometown, developing two major passions, music and craft beer. In total I spent 2 years saving money, developing my passions and trying to ignore my depressive thoughts.
Where I am now:
For the last two years I’ve been living in a major city in England. I have a great job working 40 hours a week in a craft beer pub and can pay my own way with a little left over to save each month. In my free time I go and enjoy the music scene and listen to the Djs I love mix live, and (safely/infrequently) taking drugs to enhance the experience. I have a beautiful, kind, hilarious girlfriend that I have a great relationship with. I’m attempting to put myself out there with Djing myself, in the hopes of playing clubs one day. Right know I feel relatively content, proud of myself for striking out on my own and building a life for myself, and living %100 independently.
I’m really not trying to brag, I’ve had a privileged upbringing and I know that. But I would like to make a list of things to help get across this sense that I’ve already lead a full life and would be okay if it ended tomorrow.
I’ve visited 10 different countries in 4 different continents. I’ve tried sailing, skiing, kayaking, rock climbing, horse riding and sky diving. I’ve gone camping in -10 degrees weather. I’ve helped build living facilities (laying bricks) for orphans in South Africa. Performed my own original poetry for a room of 50 people. I’ve felt some of the most intense euphoria it’s possible to feel, in unison with another person I love to the ends of the earth.
I’ve also seen extremely low lows, contemplated suicide and confronted my own mortality. I’ve shoplifted. Hurt peoples feelings. Lied for my own benefit. I’ve felt real heartbreak and mourned close family members. I’ve experienced high levels of self hatred/inadequacy and projected those feelings on my loved ones negatively impacting them. All things I regret, but contribute to my life feeling ‘full’.
The controversial bit:
As a result of all this, coupled with my depression, I plan on killing myself when I start becoming a burden on others. The exact nature of my depression is also crucial to this. I believe that my existence itself is to some extent immoral. To make it actually moral would involve moving somewhere I can live entirely independently, which would sadly involve effectively cutting off my friends and family. The way the modern world is structured means that there is always some from of exploitation involved in the goods I consume, and I as a consumer contribute to this exploitation. I’ve come to terms with it for the meantime. I will only start to really plan the end of my life once my parents are gone. It would cause them too much grief if I were to leave before they do.
I’ve been considering this since I was about 16. Reading moral philosophy since 15. I’m going to strive to improve the lives of those around me, be kind and helpful and do right by people for the next 30 years or so and then seek out the most reasonable way to end my life.
My girlfriend knows about these plans. She is understanding and supportive.
Thanks for reading.

2024.05.14 22:36 ZoGodson Why does new games n television just the media as a whole have such a strong presence of demons in it these days?

Why does new games n television just the media as a whole have such a strong presence of demons in it these days?
Im a 1991 baby and the world is much different now. But within the past 15 years seems like the media has a strong presence of demonic ideology. Like Hip hop/pop constantly talkin bout "demon time" or you see a lot of witches and witch craft in the music videos, rock has been like that like since it started lol but just got that whole fire and underworld theme,
Anime at least the ones i used to watch, the popular ones got some type of demon stuff goin on from Naruto, Black Clover, Demon Slayer. (In all three of the series they befriending the demons,in DS bruh sister a demon) But even like the fictional scary movies and shows like the new Candyman or Abigail got that super demonic vibe , Van Helsing and the Originals, had to stop watching those, thought they were gonna be more innocent like Twilight, siiikkkeee The cool looking phone games and platform games like Hades, demon souls, or devil may cry (i used to be scared to play devil may cry as a kid) every lil RPG game got a demon in it
I recently gave my life back to CHRIST and my eyes opened up to how desensitized "demons" have become to the world well at least in America. And nowadays i hear kids talking bout demons like they pets or pokemons or somethin, like whats goin on its gettin normalized. Do ppl understand what a demon is and/or its purpose or what it represents smh, They're here to "kill, steal, and destroy" but i bet a non-believer will say they dont exist, but they do and its a big spiritual warfare going on, this why you see the virtues of this country(US) digressing every year, we done fell far from being a Nation under GOD
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
So I'm on Youtube watching something about Christians studies then an ad pops up for a perfume i guess called Alien or something but the chick aint look like n alien she looked like some sexy dbz thot from the hood demon chick wit long crazy purple nails, crazy purple hair n eyes , theres purple lightning everywhere, made me laugh like what the heck lol that caught me off guard, (example of spiritual warfare devil knows thots used to be my weakness) but this seems to be the new Theme of the world everything just demonish, oh yea forgot this was a question, but why is this?
I already know, i just want some of yal non-believers explanations or to see if yal even notice it.

2024.05.14 22:27 Vanstrudel_ What's your favorite musical piece in Hades II so far?

The intense, anticipatory feeling I get from the ticking clock and bass from the Chronos pre-fight is SO GOOD! It immediately puts me into the head-space I need to dunk on that Time-loving bastard. Definitely one of my absolute favorites, even though it's more of a minor-jingle compared to the actual fight music.
What has been your favorite musical piece from the game so far?

2024.05.14 22:20 DingBatUs For years I have had a problem with music being interrupted on the watch

This is downloaded music and playlists that I have been play in the watch via the music app / Library/Playlists area. When I was out walking without my phone with me, the music on my AirPods Pro would stop and start and pause.. It drove me up the wall.
I would resolve it by turning off my iPhone usually and turning off wifi on the watch.
I had turned in several reports to Apple about it, but I never thought it would get fixed as not had been happening since watch 4?.
However on Friday I loaded in the pre-release 17.5 on the phone. I went for a walk and forgot to turn off my phone. I had a peaceful walk. I got back after a bit thinking that something was strange. On Saturday I did the same and It was the same. It did not occur to me until Monday that the watch was not freaking out.
I updated the watch today and went out and all is right in the world. Never once did the watch mute when it lost my home wifi nor did it pause playing, nor did the AirPods go quiet for a couple of second.
The watch just did what I wanted it to do, play my music while I had the workout app recording my exercise.
Congratulations Apple software and hardware folks. You did well.

2024.05.14 22:17 Fickle_Concept_5815 UTRGV Global Career Accelerator

As excited a I was to begin my journey with Global Career Accelerator, I had no idea what I was actually getting myself into. I soon found my investment was well worth it. I chose the Digital Marketing track because I thought it would be the best segway into graphic design in a professional setting. I was right about that part, but didn't expect to receive so much more in the process. I'm an Art major with a K-12 teaching certification, so this lent itself to my personal interests and to the future success of my classroom - a passion project if you will.
The tools I learned carry a lot of value, even now, as a pre-field art teacher, I know these skills will lend themselves to my success beyond the classroom. My favorite section was while we worked in Shopify, building our own site. I loved the graphic design element and it was so fun, it didn't feel like class. I also took a lot a way from their section on learning about building international relationships, having the knowledge and skills to be a better communicator and team player are also pretty important in my area of the world. I live in a border town and being a bilingual student who wants to one day soon have their own business, I can say that this part was especially important. It gave me great insight to the types of cultural differences that must be considered and respected in order to create successful relationships in commerce and amongst the professional community. Imagine arriving at your first internship or pro job and you've already got the skills to be a strong team player! You'd be ahead of the game... something I didn't foresee being as impactful as it has been on my life as a student. I'm more confident approaching team work tasks and learned to be more open minded about other's input.
If you have any questions about the Global Career Accelerator program, give me a shout. I would highly recommend this course, I don't imagine there is a career out there that wouldn't benefit from this type of experience.

2024.05.14 22:08 kwpluckett Kwpluckett #102: Civil War (2024)

2023 Extra Credit #02
Civil War on Letterboxd
Watched 4/27/24 Challenge started 5/18/13 Challenge completed 4/7/24
Man, I feel a bit conflicted on this one. In parts I feel like its an interesting kind of character study. A meditation of sorts on the horror of war and the inevitable loss that we all feel.
But it's also sort of story-lite. You're hit with a lot of characters and gut turning situations, but they're all sort of interchangeable.
It feels like the film is sort of pre-destined from the jump and there's not really a doubt about the conclusion of the film.
Instead this is very much a ride along. Point A to B to C to D. A travel film of sorts, you journey along with a rag-tag group of varying degrees of war torn journalists as they travel north east America on their way to Washington DC, the President of the United States and an inevitable conclusion.
Some of the people and places you meet along the way are unique, and memorable. The scenes and setups perhaps less so. A number of these scenes are truly gut churning and the impact of the battle sequences, which there are many of, feel visceral, intense, traumatizing... But they perhaps feel a little inconsequential to broader narrative.
Oh well, the characters are good.... The acting is really good here and Kirsten Dunst deserves kudos for carrying much of this film on her back, meaning her face... she wears the war on her face well. Its in her body, her mannerisms, the way she talks. If anyone wants to through around early year accolades that mean pure drivel, well then Kirsten Dunst certainly deserves one. We'll see if anyone is paying attention when it matter. (I.e. the Oscars.)
Musically speaking... A24 has a healthy obsession with Martin Rev... that I am totally here for it. This guys discoordinate, syncopated, takes on dreary electro-pop deserves a wider audience and it certainly fits in well in its parts, with this film. The other Music is less memorable to me, but I do remember it being good. I'll chalk this up to A24 forcing their directors to pick certain music choices cause it goes with the aesthetic.
It's interesting because going into this film I felt, you know, maybe this is all a little too real? Too close to home, here in the U S of A... but it manages to remain apolitical, completly, and this didn't even have an odor of politics. Yet the film manages to insert some sort of vision of the enduring human spirit which I think everyone can find relateable, particularly the US-centric crowd.
Anyways this is good film, but misses out on being truly great. Though it certainly warrants a watch. Plus, Kirsten Dunst turns out one of the best performances I've seen from her, and this is worth the price of addmission alone.
A 4 out of 5. (I actually adjustedy rating up 0.5 to coincide with my rating for my previously reviewed film. Congrats.)

2024.05.14 22:01 FloofySkuntank Total Drama Not-Stars ep.19

Total Drama Not-Stars ep.19
Suggestion by Cosmic_Light_Patch: Last time on Total Drama Not-Stars! The final eight competed to survive a real life horror movie. Whoever had the lamest death would be automatically eliminated.
At the start of the challenge the final eight finished a horror movie while Chris and Chef “left” the island.
While everyone stays to talk about the movie Anne Maria excuses herself to use the bathroom, she of course uses this time to spray her hair. Once she was finished she opened the door only to scream as “the killer” snatched her with the hook and dragged her away from the camp.
The other seven realize this is the horror challenge again and stick together, only to notice Rodney had left already. At the cabins Rodney had snuck into the girls cabin to place flowers on Sammy’s bed. Behind him a voice calls out to Rodney. “You know she isn’t dead right?” Rodney sighs and says “I know it’s just- “only to come face to face with the killer. Rodney let out a scream as he was hooked by his overall strap and taken out of the camp as well.
Dawn says she’ll go investigate what happened to Rodney. In a confessional Dawn states that she knows it’s just Chef and there’s no real reason to be afraid. At the cabin she sees no sign of Rodney. Trying to head back she bumps into the killer. Dawn doesn’t react, simply saying hello to Chef. She continues to have no reaction as he brings her to the tent Anne Maria and Rodney are at with Chris.
Trent is trying to calm the growing tension with music while Bridgette is giving out s’more’s. The two having told everyone to stay put so the killer couldn’t get them, only for the killer to leap out and scare the remaining five campers. Bridgette and Trent are both grabbed, the pair screaming while Harold, B, and Amy fled the campgrounds.
Amy is left alone in the woods, out of breath. Alone with her thoughts she thinks back on her sister and Rodney, how everyone treated her. Was there… a hint of guilt? Did she… feel bad for Rodney? She didn’t have time to think about this as Chef yanked her off the forest trail. Amy letting out a terrified scream before realizing it was just Chef.
B having lost Harold returned to the docks, he was using any scrap he could, working to craft a grand trap for Chef. He was so in the zone he didn’t notice Chef sneak up behind him and grab him. Even B let out a scream as he was taken to the tent with all the others. Chris says it looks like Harold won let’s go get him. Dawn then points at the monitors showing a killer sneaking up on Harold. Chris mumbles that Chef is working harder than usual. All the campers gesture to Chef who’s still there. Chris shouts “Not Again!” Everyone then runs off to the kitchen where Harold is facing the killer. Complementing the costume. At that moment everyone barges in to warn Harold. Harold surprises everyone by hurling his nunchucks at the killers face, causing them to cry out and complain that their nose is broken. He says that he’s just a fan of this challenge and wanted to catch it live again! He calls them jerks before stomping off. Chris awkwardly ushers everyone to the campfire without another word.
At elimination Chris says that as this challenge goes, the one with the worst death goes home, and that this time the loser is… DAWN! Dawn is shocked and complains how this can be when she wasn’t even scared! Chris says that THAT’S the problem. Her non reaction is what made the death so lame. Dawn concedes and wishes the others luck.
There were no votes this time!
Down to the final seven we are nearing the end! The campers are facing wild animals next! Who will catch theirs first? Who gets what animal? Who will clean the washrooms? And scariest of all, who goes home just shy of the final six? That’s for YOU to decide!

2024.05.14 21:56 Jamaodo Generating a specific Video from a Custom Song (C#)?

Hi. Im creating a c# program which creates a video of a song and posts it on tiktok. Right now my program uses spleeter to split the song into stems and then uses a script of GitHub to create waveform images of the stems
I want my end video to look like this: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMM7CDmUt/ - only one song will play per video https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMM7Xdw8b/ https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMM7CcGtE/ - no webcam or that hitting animations
basically I want the stems of the songs to be placed on top of a FL studio timeline, synced to the song, then I want to overlay a image intop of the video. and then to contribute for todays gen's 3 second attention span, add some audio virtualisations ontop of the fl studio recording (the music making app in the video) and a little shake to the image
I've tinkered with ffmpeg before, and I reckon it could do the trick here. I'd use the waveform pictures and mix them with a pre-recorded FL Studio video using ffmpeg's filters, like VStack to stack images, Scroll to slide them around and Blend. And then tweak the overlay filter for that shake effect. Plus, I found out ffmpeg can whip up some basic audio visualizations, which is neat. (https://gist.github.com/Neurogami/aeed8693f7ac375d5e013b8432d04d3f)
But my main issue with this approach is, how the waveform images will look weird/out of place ontop of the fl studio video, because FL studio has a really spesific "theme". I could manually create a template and then use some other library to merge the template image and the waveform image. But, it feels a bit janky and would probably be a hassle to set up and implement.
So, I'm curious if you folks have any ideas, nifty libraries or GitHub gems to help me nail this video?

I'm a 41M ambivert who loves novel experiences! If there's an unusual/offbeat thing to do then I want to do it!
Looking for folks in their mid 30s and up to hang out with - any gender or orientation is fine since this is platonic only.

2024.05.14 21:45 LowProfessional9642 Aquarius men will be the death of me

Yet somehow I am always attracted to them, before I find out their sign. Their lack of communication and emotional expression drives me insane, but here I am still on the chase because they somehow don't get bored enough with me to move on and they're always drawn to me. I appreciate their craft and that most of them are insanely good at / well versed on something particular. For me, usually music.

2024.05.14 21:31 Lopsided-League-9162 [28 - Tenko CHABASHIRA] UTDP/DRS total events count

https://preview.redd.it/f7y4zexcuf0d1.png?width=1140&format=png&auto=webp&s=4496b8e9bedbe492e35bc7b83319deecc20f2433
TENKO CHABASHIRA's INTERACTIONS WITH CLASSMATES:
7 EVENTS IN TOTAL: HIMIKO (3 UTDP, 4 DRS)
3 EVENTS: KAEDE (1 UTDP, 2 DRS)
2 EVENTS: ANGIE (1 UTDP, 1 DRS), MAKI (1 UTDP, 1 DRS)
1 EVENT: SHUICHI (1 UTDP), RYOMA (1 DRS), KAITO (1 DRS)
NEVER INTERACTS: RANTARO, KIRUMI, KOREKIYO, MIU, GONTA, KOKICHI, TSUMUGI, K1-B0
Conclusion: Tenko doesn't interact with half of her class for some reason. Her absolute favorite classmate is Himiko (to no one's surprise), №2 is Kaede (she taught Kaede self-defense and Kaede wants to make a music video featuring her and says that it could be a first step towards Tenko's Aikido idol career), № 3 are Angie (they fawn over Himiko together, though Tenko is jealous of her) and Maki (Maki particiates with her in a three-legged race and comforts her after Chihiro reveals that he's a boy). Outside her class, Tenko's fave people are mostly fellow athletes: her absolute fave is Sakura (fellow martial artist, her hyper energy nicely contrasts with Sakura's chill demeanour, almost as well as Aoi's), the second place is shared between Leon (training buddies, though Leon being a guy with womanising tendencies makes their relationship strained), Aoi (taught her how to swim and helped her to overcome her fear of water), Ibuki (same voice actor!), Nekomaru (she wants to keep Neo-Aikido alive nd trains under Nekomaru to perfect her craft, althougth she doesn't like being trained by a man) and Akane.

2024.05.14 21:19 queenmeowmeow69 Absent father is affecting child's mental health.

TLDR; My kids don't like their dad, even so far as resent him because he is always working.
I (f30) have been with my husband (m30) for 12 years. Together we have a ten year old daughter and a five year old son. Both special needs. Husband is suspected to be on the spectrum.
My husband and I grew up in vastly different childhoods. He is an immigrant from the Philippines and had a family that showed no affection or love. I, however, grew up with a Mom who never let us forget how much she loved us. This has played a big role in our parenting styles.
My husband and my daughter have never had the best relationship. To my perspective it seem that he just doesn't know how to act with kids. They are also so alike that they can butt heads. When my son was born, my husband had a much easier time bonding with him. Up until 1.5 years old, they were two peas in a pod. My daughter was 6 when I had my son, and she saw the difference In how they were treated.
Side note: my daughter has been in therapy since 5 due to catastrophic anxiety and has even had to be medicated.
My daughter started to think her dad didn''t like her, which was understandable to me. And it was something she worked on in therapy. Then the dialoged changed from thinking her dad doesn't like her, to now she doesn't like her dad.
My husband has always worked hard to provide for us, making sure bills are always paid, there's always food, etc. I always worked full time as well, until 2020. In 2020 my husband got a job as an executive chef, since the kids had to be home due to covid, we decided I would quit my job and stay with the kids. It was cheaper than child care.
If you look up "what it's actually like being a chef's wife" you instantly see it's very lonely. My husband works 16-18 hour days, he has two scheduled days off, but sometimes he has to go in on those days as well. When he is home he does his best to help out and spend time with us. However, he is understandably exhausted.
Once my son started pre-k, he no longer gets to see my husband very much at all. His bus arrives before his dad is up, and his dad gets home after my son is asleep. He see's him sundays, and Monday evenings. That's it. My husband missed him growing into childhood. My daughter only see's him every day because her school starts later and he often takes her to school. She's asleep before he gets home as well. I feel like a single parent most of the time.
On my own I got my daughter's mental health stable and got her off meds by age 8.
My daughter kept consistent with saying she doesn't like her dad, only it changed to hate. She started saying she hates when he is home. Even though in my eyes, their relationship looks (on the surface,) to be much better now that she is older. My son, four at the time, started to say he didn't like daddy, only mommy.
I talked to my husband about spending more time with them, try to bond a little more, maybe take an occasional day off (he hasn't taken one off in four years). He felt really guilty and spiraled into a deep depression. In his head, there is NO room for adjusting his schedule, or taking extra time off.
Another side note: In the middle of all this my husband was offered a different exec chef job, which would of paid about the same, but we would of had benefits, PTO, Bonuses, and a family friendly schedule. But it's corporate, which he hates. He loves where he cooks at now.
Both kids have been keeping up with the negative feelings toward their dad (it's very obvious he loves them). Everytime I tried to talk to my daughter about it, go deeper, as in WHY she feels this way, I was met with "I don't know" and she would shut down.
Yesterday I pick up my daughter from school and when we get home she sees her dad is home. Instantly her attitude changes and she starts saying how she hates her dad, she wishes he wasn't home and that he would just leave forever. However this time she told me a little more. She's depressed, she wanted to go back on meds, and she's just having a hard time all together. She told me she resented her dad for never being there. That he isn't her father and she would be happy if she never saw him again.
I validated her feelings, I mean, I totally get where she is coming from, and I let her know we would get through this together.
It hurts my heart to hear these things. I don't know how to handle the situation.
Should I tell my husband and hope it gets through to him enough for him to make a change? Or do I just spare my husband feelings because most likely nothing is going to change and this way we'd avoid another depression episode, and just be there for my daughter, handle it on my own?
HELP!
