I’ve noticed a lot of people who want to help and contribute, but don’t know how to actually research and form any new ideas that aren’t tied to rumors or ones that support facts that are already confirmed to be true. If you want to be helpful look at Thermo’s post pinned to the front. Now more then ever we need to fight against spam posts, so if you really want to help, do your part and don’t contribute until you have something original or something that hasn’t been mentioned.
When I first started looking for connections trying to find the mole, I was looking for anyone who had spoken out against him through out the years and seeing if they had any recent connections to Kendrick. Unfortunately they’ve both worked with pretty much every A list rapper and a lot of them hate Drake so it’s hard to narrow down. I tried thinking of ways to find more specific connections and came up with a new method. I know a lot of people have already made up their minds on who they think it is, but everyone should take into consideration there is probably more than one person pulling the strings.
First I look for people who have a solid connection to Drake, then checked for their most recent connection. Then I checked if they have spoken out since the beef or if they might have had any type of falling out and if they ever reconnected. My theory is it was an old friend who knew how sketchy he was and cut ties, then he pretended to rekindle the relationship so they could collect dirt.
A few more things to look out for:
Rappers who have been in the game longer than Drake, especially if they’re super talented, but never took off.
Look at their label and subsidiaries to find connections.
Rappers with no to little public controversies or major felonies.
Rappers who left or revealed secrets about the industry if were killed I look for any close friends and major collaborators.
Rappers who were imprisoned on sketchy charges, potentially a victim of a smear campaign, or one hit wonders.
Rappers who died at the beginning of their careers and had friends who are still in the industry.
Rappers who went independent, started their own labels, or who never signed a deal.
Musicians from other genres, actors, athletes, or politician with significant ties to the industry.
Rappers who you expected to be team Kendrick, but remained silent on the matter.
Rappers who are in another country, especially if they aren’t touring. Bonus points if they left close to the release of Euphoria
Major feature artists
Any rappers who have ties to Hebrew Israelites or are associated with the Black Panther Party
Musicians who grew up around the industry, especially if they were abused or were around anyone found guilty of any crime involving minors.
Rappers from California or who have lived there a while.
Rappers who make a lot of jokes in their songs. (Usually a solid way to drop truths and not get sued.)
Rappers who have never had any beefs and know a lot of people on both sides
Rappers who publicly promote Christianity and try to elevate people instead of dragging them down with their music. (You should also check for any history that suggests the opposite.)
Rappers who donate anonymously to charity.
(Be careful a lot of predators also donate to these organizations as a cover, so by extension be wary of any rappers who visibly donate to charities related to fighting trafficking. Especially if they have any sketch shit in their past that they might be hiding. If it’s in the news it’s usually for a reason).
Team Kendrick Roster: Suspected Moles, Possible Contributors, and Connections
Please don’t just read the list and assume I’m claiming they are the mole.If one of the names catches your attention, dig deeper and try to find as many connections as you can. Even if it appears obvious, provide the sources and try to point out opinions and rumors until it can be validated. People hear the word, “rumors” and automatically associate it with lies. The truth is unless you have damning evidence that could be brought in front of the judge and be deemed relevant, it’s impossible to know if something from the internet is genuine. Generative AI is getting crazy, and there is only a matter of time before it wins the race against the AI detectors. There is technology out there that will probably make picture/video evidence irrelevant in within the next 10-15 years. Try to stick to court records directly from .gov sites and looking for past connections. If you’re able to, filter by the date and set it so you only receive results from before 2016. This is around the time google and most other search engines went to shit. If the evidence you’re looking for is from after 2016, try to stick to dates before the news broke.
(For example if you’re looking for something about Diddy, set the results from before the Cassie trial because the first 10 pages are going to be covering that and will make it way more difficult.)
A lot of information can be found by examining industry connections. Below is an example of how to look for industry connections and find connections. These are some more possible examples of the industry silencing artists. The Drake, Kanye, Kim Kardshian, and Ray J connections did a lot to set the stage for the beef.
Examples of industry connections that tell a bigger story:
Look into Michael Jackson’s death and the legal situation surrounding his masters. Look at his son’s interview after his death. Then look at Tommy Motolla and Sony Records. Look for Tommy Motolla’s connections to Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. Look at the connection between Whitney’s death and Ray J. and Brandy. Look at the death of Whitney’s daughter compared to her mom’s death. Then try to put those pieces together and tell me what you see. This is just a tiny example.
Another interesting connection I’ve never heard anyone talk about is the connection between the murder of Young Dolph and it’s connection to Diddy and Jay Z. Look into Dolph and Yo Gotti’s label, Diddy’s dad, and Dolph’s song, “Hall of Fame”. Make sure you always crest a timeline with dates and note any connection, big or small you can throw them out later, but they may be a piece of the puzzle.
When you conducting research a good tool to use are the advanced search features. Always try to be as specific as possible and set your search results to specific time periods. This will help save time by skipping 100 articles that are not relevant or useful. Past connections are a great way to start putting pieces together.

I hope this opens some discussion, please be aware of people who try to discredit any posts that you might think are valuable. There are a lot of people actively trying to bury relevant info. If you have experienced it yourself you’ll know it’s extremely common. There are also a lot of incredibly bright people in this sub who are finding tons of interesting stuff. It’s important to see the bigger picture beyond a rap beef. Kendrick and Drake are just pieces of the puzzle. Sure! was planing to release all the info he had on Diddy in 2022, but may have been poisoned beforehand similar to theories about Diddys’s ex wife Kim Porter who was originally married to Kim before Diddy stole her away along with Al’s son, also Diddy’s stepson Quincy. Diddy has also been directly tied to the murders or mysterious deaths of at least a half a dozen more people who were close associates from the beginning of his career and were key players in the formation of Bad Boy. Coincidentally many of the victims had either exposed or were threatening to expose evidence related to all of these crimes. They are also using Keefe D. to take the charge for 2Pacs murder so he can spin the story and leave out and ties to Diddy who ordered the hit or did it himself.
Unfortunately for Diddy, unlike the rest of the people he had successfully silenced in the past, Al ended up coming out of his coma and revealing all the info he had on Diddy, including that he was responsible for him falling into a coma. After he came out of the coma Diddy knew he was about to go down and before the raid he destroyed and staged all of his homes with evidence that would verify all the claims related to other celebrities over the age of 18. Meanwhile he got rid of all the videos involving murder, sa, child abuse, bestiality and other evidence that would bring major charges. This is so he can cooperate with the Feds and help reduce his sentence. If he hid all the evidence they would know and work overtime to find it. Instead he lied by omission and corroborated the accusations that won’t completely destroy him. He can then release all his dirt to seem like he made all the blackmail with the intention of bringing down known predators who were able to get away with the same things he’s guilty of.
In the video of Diddy in the wig, he talks about partying with Drake and The Weekend and I believe he was able to acquire the blackmail. He then released the blackmail to selected people to ensure they leak at the appropriate time. The plan is to publicly out Drake for sex crimes so the rest of Hollywood knows not to testify against him. During the auction mentioned by ebony prince they are going to auction off all the dirt Diddy has collected the last 30 years. This includes dirt on Trump, which may be the reason behind all of this. The auction is four days after Election Day and will be used as a fail safe in case Trump wins the election.

(Recently the charges against Lucian Grange were dropped showing he most likely is working behind the scenes as well and has some influence. He may be related to the leak as well. He could have also been the one who supplied the blackmail. Another alternative is Diddy went to the feds on his own accord, but when multiple lawsuits pop up very quickly, especially after thirty years of avoiding charges related to tons of sketchy shit, it usually means there is some type of coordination. This is all speculation so please don’t victim blame or spread conspiracies about a possible survivor of C.S abuse. This is why many don’t come forward. All I’m trying to do is point out the large amount of details surrounding the rumor that stand out as odd to me. By no means does this dismiss his claims. I’m not a lawyer, but if he was suing my client, this is some of the evidence I would use in the case.
Before I start I need to put in a small disclaimer. **The subjects I covered in my essay are well known to be linked to conspiracy theory communities that have been equated to terrorist groups. The end goal of a lot of these communities is to promote political divide, antisemetism, homophobia, and violence. I think the ultimate goal is to create such a massive gap between the left and right that the two party system fails and we fall into anarchy allowing the people who really pull the strings to restructure and in order to retain their power. It’s already evident that Biden isn’t able to do nearly as much as he could do if he didn’t have to consider the opposing party’s majority vote as well. Whoever wins I feel the results will be the same, violent protests aiming to reverse the vote. If this is achieved it will be the death of democracy in America.
I highly encourage anyone who identifies with either political party and are attracted to controversial subjects or consider themselves to be contrarian to please look out for any conspiracies that seem to be targeted towards you or the community you’re a part of. If they share similar ideas to the findings I made in my research, please do not engage.
I’ve watched the conception and the eventual downfalls off the P-gate and Q conspiracy communities. It didn’t take me long to figure out the eventual end game and step back from the community while continuing independent research. If you’re letting someone else to the research for you, you really need to be sure to trust the source and be aware of possible ulterior motives. It’s really dangerous territory though, filled with hidden traps that can draw you in and send you so deep that you either end up going into psychosis from the stress and paranoid, or you do what I did and step back for the sake of your mental health. I hate even sharing things like this because I know it may not have the effect I intended, but on the other hand people who are new to these subjects and conspiracies really, really need to take them seriously. They are not just games on the internet and there is a reason members of these communities have to hide in the shadows and lure people into their dark corners. There is also reason why they target the groups they do and I’ve noted a huge effort to indoctrinate people in rap community, the content creator community, and the celebrity gossip communities. I’ll let you guys draw your own conclusions as to why this is. I assume if you read this far you’re not dumb.
Once you’re stuck in their web it’s very difficult for most people to find their way back to society without seeing examples everywhere. I hope this is able to at least help one person who might be teetering on the edge of these rabbit holes. It’s not worth it and if I wasn’t sober and taking my meds, Id probably end up having a psychotic break. If you feel like you may be approaching that point you can still quit while you’re ahead.
Here are just a few of the things you can do to keep yourself from spiraling.
Take a step back for a while and focus on other things. Taking a hiatus from social media is crucial. If you can’t control yourself maybe detach from the news and internet entirely for a couple days. Even a long weekend can make a MASSIVE difference.
Try to get a good nights sleep and consider taking melatonin or an over the counter sleep aid.
Spend some time with friends or loved ones.
Eat some good, somewhat healthy, food and stay hydrated.
Try to get some sun and consider taking a walk or doing some other form of exercise.
Volunteer or do something to help your community if you want to continue working to benefit society.
Try to read a book or spend some time doing your favorite hobbies that aren’t related to any of the subjects I discuss below. Without further ado…
Ties Between Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Violent Antigovernment Conspiracies
I recently saw an article about Bryshere Gray, a rappeactor best known for his role in Empire. He was born in Philadelphia and started rapping at 16. His manager Craig Mack, who facilitated his big break by getting him a role on the TV series Empire, is life long friends with Will Smith. Currently there are conflicting claims about whether he is currently suing or planning to sue Will Smith and P. Diddy for s. abusing him as a minor. It’s rumored he is trying to get 50 million dollars in damages. That number alone seems suspicious to me. That’s 20 million more than Cassie got and she dated and lived with Diddy for over a decade.
One of the other things I noticed off the jump was the fact that the only sources regarding the case were on social media along with one article on MSN, which is known for being a nest of clickbait journalism. Essentially they are the written version of gossip videos made by content creators. The only evidence I could find in these videos were a few short clips from his socials where is talking about the negative sides of fame and a clip of him on the red carpet with Will Smith. This might hint towards suppression, but I’m leaning toward this whole story being bullshit.
The only connection I found between him and Diddy is a song he did with 2 Chainz and Fabolous, the latter being signed to Bad Boy. He ended up getting signed to Columbia which falls under the Sony Music Entertainment while Bad Boy is under UMG. Considering these rumors came about a while back he hasn’t mentioned it at all as far as I know. Some might argue this could be a product of friction between labels or that he included Diddy because everyone knows he’s going down. On the other hand if he is a victims he may not have wanted his story told and doesn’t want to stoke the rumors by responding whether they’re true or not.
One of the biggest things that led me to question the validity of the claims is the fact that 90 percent of the sources I found were using a three minute clip from an interview with one of the top content creators on YouTube, I’ll call her J. At this point I’m 99 percent sure J is an opp, whether she knows it or not. She told his story in vivid detail accusing Will and Jada of luring young artists with promises of mentorship, then involving them in their bedroom activities.
It’s not really a stretch to think that Will might have a cuckold fetish and probably swings both ways. Two things that could ruin you in the 90’s, but neither or them could do more damage to their careers then they have already done by airing out intimate details of their relationship to the public. However the allegations involving minors are complete heresay. This leads me to believe these are just rumors from the 90’s updated to include modern conspiracy theories. J clearly also clearly has some homophobic tendencies, but uses her bisexuality as a pass to bash on most black gay men and even straight men who she claims to be gay. It’s all too obvious she still holds onto resentment over her career never taking off while a lot of the people she collaborated with turned into megastars which is a huge motivator for her content. She clearly still lives in the nineties when these type of allegations alone could seriously damage your career.
In Bryshere’s case, regardless if any of the details she shared were true, they shouldn’t have been aired to the public by anyone but Gray himself. This isn’t the first time J has leaked recordings, exploited, or stolen from victims she claimed to be advocating for. She has even doxxed victims by starting a women’s group for sa survivors and recording all their meetings. She eventually leaked some, claiming they were trying sabotage the group. When the rest found out or were threatened themselves, the group was quickly dissolved and covered up. Considering her track record it’s not unlikely that if true, she released Gray’s story after trying to ask for a payoff and not receiving it. Considering their is no evidence they’ve even met, it’s more likely she’s just reporting on local rumors considering her and Gray are both from Philly and now both live in the Dallas. It’s very important to look at J’s history to see the bigger picture here.
My theory is J was given permission to share her story detailing the dark side of the industry and promised protection if she also included certain details that they provided to her. If true, the motive could have been to help her home channel gain credibility and attract a large viewer base so they can manipulate the message. I believe these people do know some shit about some people, and they want to get out ahead and make sure they only go after their rivals.
I followed J, an up and coming influencer, to examine to see if I noticed any obvious agendas and stumbled upon a full blown conspiracy. I use as an example started with very levelheaded claims that were easy to digest and over the course of five years this influence lured in their viewers with insider knowledge that turned out to be true and by the end was spouting rumors that are easily traceable to certain movements that have been tied to antisemetism, anti LBGTQ, and violent ideologies. It started slow with a few buzzwords and before you knew it the comment sections had been taken over. She started by luring in the celebrity gossip community, specifically people over the age of 40, who treat gossip blogs like the gospel. It’s obvious why this community has been chosen as a target, and I’ve seen recently to rap community is not much better. I imagine whoever is orchestrating this campaign probably wasn’t expecting it to be this easy.
We very well may be witnessing a controlled takedown and the purpose usually is to take out any liabilities while painting their innocence. If a lot of sick people get outed for terrible crimes most people will assume the Feds weeded out all the bad seeds. It would be a public win for the FEDs and would address any criticism aimed at them and those in the industry who have been facing pressure to deal with these types of issues for at least 3 decades. It will also assuage a lot of the conspiracy communities who have been trying to bring light to these issues. I definitely believe the people they chose to take the rap are going to take the charges for all their co conspirators, so those close to them don’t catch any charges. This would be very important in a R.I.C.O. case.
After they’ve completed their mission and their message has been delivered they will then allow these messengers to continue to capitalize on their channel’s popularity. This way they could still manipulate to spread whatever they choose whenever it’s deemed it to be necessary, It probably won’t work too many times before people catch on. In they want to continue making content they can force them to dig up their old dirt. They could also easily provide them with a list of names they are and aren’t allowed to talk about. My guess is they know that most of them aren’t going to be able to find anything, and since they picked people willing to to say any thing for money, they know they will continue to do it with or without relevant information.
They could also continue aiding her in an effort to further the spread disinformation as a preemptive measure. They may threaten harm or violence if the view counts dip below a certain amount to prevent the messenger from self sabotaging in case they need to get their message to the massesIf in the future. If they do ever need them again to do the same thing or are themselves being targetted, they can use their messengers to discredit the facts about them and shine light on those who are leveling the allegations.
You may be wondering what if the enemy finds them and pays them more to doublecross their handlers? They can then use their messenger’s mental illness and paint them and their viewers as violent or mentally ill members of a disinformation cult and either blackmail them into retracting their claims or label them and their listeners as a disinformation cult that happened to be right about some things. Mental health issues can also help paint the narrative that the messenger is suicidal so they can take her out easier if needed. In the case of J it’s not out of the realm of possibility considering her recent struggle and probably played a big part in choosing her to be their mouth piece. since they can use her mental illness at any time to discredit her or create plausible deniability if any connection is made between them and they need to go to court to prove the opposite.
She’s such a wildcard their is no way they would’ve recruited her if they didn’t have an iron clad manipulation tactic with multiple failsafes in place. Usually threatening to kill someones entire family works just fine, but she doesn’t seem to be too worried about her families safety. This is why I think it’s the big labels going after their own artists because they know they’re probably going to get busted soon. Also studios rarely sign you and give you a good deal if they don’t have some type of dirt in case the artist to keep them in line, and use them for their own personal gains. They can also keep them from going after the messenger and better ensure their safety. If they had her go after another label’s artists they probably wouldn’t be able to cover all the bases when it comes to protection, which with J is necessary since she never has any security detail and constantly doxxes herself and her family on live.
While going though her interviews it became very clear to me something was very fishy off the rip. It became obvious after watching sections from all four of her main interviews that as time went on she began incorporating more and more lies and more and more ridiculous conspiracies into the narrative. For most people as soon as they hear a blatant lie they immediately write off anything coming from the source. Most people don’t do their own research so if the messenger tells a couple little white lies with a dramatic flair they can get away with it for a while. The more lies though the higher the chance of them getting called out and losing a portion of their audience as well as making any truth information that can’t be verified sound sketchy.
As I’ve said before J first two interviews do have a lot of verifiable claims, juxtaposed with her life story, and a few blatant lies. One thing I noticed is the majority of her allegations are against artists from her hometown in Philadelphia who were breaking into the industry around the same time as she was and managed to make their way to the top of their respective industries. Sadly neither of J’s two albums were well received and she lost her opportunity because of her combative personality mixed with major narcissism.
After her music career didn’t pan out she moved to Dallas, Texas to try to rebrand. After her son was murdered in 2018, similar to her career, her mental health took appeared to take a nosedive. Before the first interview in 2020, apparently rumors were floating around she was living out of cars and motels. She then met her husband who was ex-military and it seemed like he really built her up and helped her, possibly even writing the stories. In that first interview she accused multiple artists of mistreatment as well as assault. It went semi-viral and a good portion of the accused either provided evidence to contradict her or said the don’t want to go into it, and they seemed to know the situation and feel bad for her. The rapper Common, who she claimed had abused her even said he hopes she’s ok and wished her well. A lot of her fans took this and twisted them into him being guilty because he didn’t go off on a rant trying to claim his innocence and shit on J like they were expecting.
I belief either before or after the first interview got some attention she was contacted and either paid or blackmailed into doing another interview where she was fed information, some truth some lies, and told to mix it in to her life story. I also think her husband may have been one of her handlers. My suspicions stem from the fact that he popped up not long before the first interview and married her after like 3 weeks. I also noticed his way of speaking was also was very similar to J’s and he’d even use similar vocal inflections and speech patterns. They also displayed a lot of similar quirks. Another coincide is he claimed he was responsible for most of the technical support and played a huge part in establishing her online presence. He claimed to have learned everything in a day, and apparently people were shocked at how quickly he learned how to code websites and manage her accounts. A few weeks after getting married she had already made him a fifty/fifty partner for the a new television network she was promoting around the time, but was designed to steal peoples money.
She returned for a second interview in December 2022 and during her second video she mentioned Diddy and dropped a lot of information regarding his current case, his connections to many celebrities, and many specific details about their lives only an insider would have access to. Still there wasn’t much evidence to verify a good portion of her claims until Cassie filed her lawsuit a couple weeks later. I’m almost positive whoever is trying to bring Diddy to justice is connected to whoever is giving her all this info. During the interview J once again eloquently details the dark side of the industry.
Unfortunately her second interview was overshadowed by two separate incidents that both occurred only a few days later and were also caught on her live stream. First she was arrested at a Chicago airport for losing her mind at the security checkpoint. Not much longer after that during an apparent psychotic break, she was filmed in a barbershop parking lot abusing her husband then taking her sons ashes and throwing them her husband and his friends while acting like she was literally possessed. In a later interview she claimed to have Dissociate Identity Disorder from all the trauma and admitted that it was the cause of her psychotic breaks, which totally applies if someone was severely abused at a young age like she has claimed is the case. Eventually she was restrained by the police, strapped down, and tied to a stretcher.
After she got out of a mental hospital a couple days later, her and her soon to ex-husband did a couple separate interviews followed by one where they both discussed to situation together. Before the joint interview their original stories did not line up at all. From their description of events it’s obvious she was cheating and he seems intelligent enough to that, but instead claims the now leader of the Carbon Nation sex cult we’ll call Sol. According to their story he hypnotized her the first time they met and manipulated her into joining her and her husband on their planned weekend roadtrip after meeting in person for the first time. He also forced her into saying she wanted to kill her husband multiple times and letting him touch all over her while they were all in the car together. After that she went on and shared a painfully detailed description of the abuse she suffered as a child all they up until she left the industry. Not much longer after that her husband filed for divorce, further contributing to the spiral.
About three months ago she did another interview that clearly was made by someone else and was loaded with editing mistakes and long gaps without sound that are so muffled you can barely hear them. She also obvious took clips of the interviewer from previous interviews and pasted them together to form new questions and edited them in between her responses. This is also where her claims were all either recycled or included the wildest pizzagate rumors. Then as always she included them in her personal anecdotes so people feel bad for questioning her. The last interview I saw came out less than a week ago and it was even worse than the last and it seems like she’s now just shitposting and seeing how much she can get away with and sadly as expected most people are still eating it up out of the palm of their hand. People who literally worship these influencers like Gods.
Sorry for the giant tangent, but it seems obvious to me that the husband and the two interviewers were all working together. He dressed her up, got her sober and kept her on her meds so she could deliver these interviews. At the same time she was the one who agreed to literally sell her soul and I believe she conscientiously made the decision to scam others. I think everything with Sol was either planned by the three of them or at least the two men who both appeared randomly and were obviously both manipulators. They used their, “divorce,” to really kick things into overdrive and then either both left her there jobs were done. In my humble opinion it’s more likely that they are all mentally ill, desperate for money, and playing roles that were assigned to them for a very specific purpose. I’m almost positive the whole marriage was a sham to help contribute to the narrative that everything in the first two videos was true, until she lost her mind because of the DID, PTSD, and stress.
The last thing I’ll mention before getting back to Bryshere Gray is how I found it interesting that she chose a DID diagnosis. Bipolar used to be a big one, but most people these days know at least one person with it, and it’s easier to tell when people are faking. DID and BPD are the trendy ones now because they aren’t as well understood and easier to fake or play up for the camera. The large numbers of people obviously faking their symptoms, based off the symptoms of some influencer who is also faking. This makes it very difficult to know what’s . It’s also commonly brought up in more radical conspiracy groups as being part of the satanic agenda or brainwash people. I think they were intentionally trying to attract people who would get anything related to the movement send to the deep corners of the internet where those types tend to hide.
This all leads me to the wildest connection of the story. In 2015, when Gray joined Columbia Records, he was signed alongside his future Empire costar Jussie Smollett who ended up playing his older brother. For those who don’t know or remember in 2019, Jussie Smollett was found guilty of staging a hate crime against himself somewhere around the 4th season of he show. The expensive investigation revealed the motivation was political after revealing Michellle Obama’s form chief of staff reached out to Smollett’s lawyer and requested the case be handed over to the FBI. His lawyer then forward the request to Chicago’s Superintendent who approved the request and the case was dropped. After a massive uproar, pitting democrats and republicans against each other, he was resentenced in December 2019 and to this day his legal defense team is still trying to drag out the case so the prosecutor just drops the charges and they don’t have to admit guilt. (If interested the Wikipedia article sums up the whole thing very well.)
Up until his arrest for domestic violence over three years ago where he was caught multiple times lying to the police in his interview, he was found guilty. Seemingly overnight his career tanked and he essentially disappeared and clearly seemed to be dealing with some mental health issues. I find it interesting that after four years of silence he’s just deciding to come out now, and if this case is real in the first place I wonder if anyone is going to draw all these connections.
Aside from Smollett and Gray, the cast list attached to the TV series Empire reveals a lot of connections to a lot of high powered figures with strange connections to this whole conspiracy. A good example of one of these connections is Terrence Howards’s character, a top record label president named Lucious. After skimming the first season’s plot points, some appeared to be directly based on attributes commonly associated with Diddy.
When I looked a little deeper I found that Howard, who also originates from Philadelphia, was cast as the lead actor on the show, while still finding the time to deliver his infamous guest lectures around the world. The main focus of the lectures was discussing the theory he hypothesized which he appropriately named, “Terryology.” This came after being blacklisted from the industry for nearly seven years prior for beating up a crew member and being convicted of multiple domestic violence charges. After the incident with the crew member in 2008, it was revealed Howard had been replaced by Don Cheadle in the sequel to his last hit movie, Iron Man.
Around the same time in 2008, he also signed a record deal with no other than Columbia Records. This came a few years before his infamous on screen sons joined a the same label years later. This can definitely be connected to Howard’s relationship with Gray’s manager Charlie Mack. Some other people who made guest appearances on the show include Naomi Campbell, Cassie, Cuba Gooding Jr, and Mary J. Blige.
The creator of the show Lee Daniel’s, the popular democratic activist whose connections go all the way up to the Obama’s, Oprah, and the Clintons. (Before I go any further, please don’t go down this rabbit hole much further, and to the people who use these type of stories to promote their agendas and spark even more political discord. Now more then ever we need to reel in both the far left and far right and meet as close to the middle as possible or else both candidates are going to continue to be worse every election. Please keep any comments politically neutral. I hate both candidates and I’m simply making connections and could care less who wins the upcoming election.
I think what we’re seeing now regarding Drake, Kendrick, Diddy, and people like Bryshere Gray and J and other influencers and content creators are all be used as weapons to distract people from something major going down and the fact that it’s only getting crazier every day, it appears whatever I’m referring to is yet to come, but won’t be long. Please keep all of this in mind before you start trying to research subjects like these. You may realize that some of the ideologies that have been chastised and tied to violence have been saying these types of things for years, and most of their evidence has been proven already or align with everything we’re seeing.
The paid protestors at Columbia is another example of political theater. Here is where people make the connection to Semetism and where most subscribers theories go off the fucking rails. Just because a lot of these things can be tied to Israel and Jewish Americans, a lot of people like to blame them for all the worlds problems, what they don’t realize is most of this stems from cultural traditions and generational wealth that was gained through hard work and promotion of high education. This has resulted in the majority of Jewish Americans holding more wealth than the average Christian household and most if this stems purely from jealousy and fucking Hitler. This is why the majority of people who go all in on these types of theories don’t have any further education than a high school diploma.
I know this doesn’t make them all dumb, but even a lot of very intelligent people like Ye and other major public figures got sucked into these communities without realizing they were part of the same agenda they were trying to expose. That’s how you end up with Ye saying he loves Hitler in a public interview and promoting Trump for president and supporting the fucking, “white lives matter,” movement along with the Candace Owen, the republicans answer to AOC. Even people with more formal education and fewer biases can and have been successfully targeted by these communities. It’s been shown time and time again that many of these recruiters who have been in their respective communities since their inception usually end up end reaching the same conclusions and the more people there are to confirm your beliefs or suspicions, the more likely it is you’ll accept everything else in they say as true. (This is a very similar conclusion the one I reached in my essay about J).
My belief is someone from the same circle that J was in during her singing career are the same people who reached out to Katt Williams and other blacklisted artists with long recorded histories of mental illness and substance abuse problems to lie by omission and allowing them to release preselected pieces of evidence without repercussions. They could easily know what information the Feds were able to acquire. They then had her leak those details to the public so when the details to come out it makes she can work with the Feds and dismiss any other allegations even if they are true. Obviously it won’t determine the outcome, but it can definitely go a long way in making sure certain details of the defendant choosing can be struck from the record if the evidence isn’t good enough.
At this point I’m a 99 percent sure Diddy is the one pulling the strings behind the Kendrick and Drake beef. I believe that Al B. Sure! was planing to release all the info he had on Diddy in 2022, but may have been poisoned beforehand similar to theories about Diddys’s ex wife Kim Porter who was originally married to Kim before Diddy stole her away along with Al’s son, also Diddy’s stepson Quincy. Diddy has also been directly tied to the murders or mysterious deaths of at least a half a dozen more people who were close associates from the beginning of his career and were key players in the formation of Bad Boy. Coincidentally many of the victims had either exposed or were threatening to expose evidence related to all of these crimes. They are also using Keefe D. to take the charge for 2Pacs murder so he can spin the story and leave out and ties to Diddy who ordered the hit or did it himself.
Unfortunately for Diddy, unlike the rest of the people he had successfully silenced in the past, his dirt ended up coming out right around when Al ended up coming out of his coma and I think it’s likely that if my theory is correct he released all the info he had on Diddy. He even may have hinted in an interview at him being responsible for him falling into a coma. After he came out of the coma Diddy knew he was about to go down and before the raid he destroyed and staged all of his homes with evidence that would verify all the claims related to other celebrities over the age of 18. Meanwhile he got rid of all the videos involving murder, sa, child abuse, bestiality and other evidence that would bring major charges.
This is so he can cooperate with the Feds and help reduce his sentence. If he hid all the evidence they would know and work overtime to find it. Instead he lied by omission and corroborated the accusations that won’t completely destroy him. He can then release all his dirt to seem like he made all the blackmail with the intention of bringing down known predators who were able to get away with the same things he’s guilty of.
In the video of Diddy in the wig, he talks about partying with Drake and The Weekend and I believe he was able to acquire the blackmail. He then released the blackmail to selected people to ensure they leak at the appropriate time. The plan is to publicly out Drake for sex crimes so the rest of Hollywood knows not to testify against him. During the auction mentioned by ebony prince they are going to auction off all the dirt Diddy has collected the last 30 years. This includes dirt on Trump, which may be the reason behind all of this. The auction is four days after Election Day and will be used as a fail safe in case Trump wins the election.
When people who already have even the slightest political biases and less formal education, it can be very difficult to look at these things and not choose a side. This is their agenda to promote centrism and split the left and right even further to promote chaos and anarchy. I advise anyone who identifies as democrat or republican to be extremely cautious when exploring these topics and watch out for the type of things I mentioned. If the information is specifically pointed towards whichever party you identify with, they are trying to suck you in and fill your head with their beliefs.

Clearly people don’t want to actually think for themselves and are just trying to shut down any theory that contradicts their own. I tried posting this on kendrick almost a week ago and it got no response, I messaged the mods to ask about Karma restrictions or account age requirements and they never replied. I made a new account and it was the same issue, but I found out last night I wasn’t fully banned, so I figured I’d throw it up and see if anyone finds it valuable. It’s written for people who have no prior knowledge of the rap game/music business. I don’t have to go as hard on obscuring names this time. One of the influencers I mentioned in my last post is known for doxxing and threatening violence against people who mention the many contradictions in their stories. (Sorry for any typos/mistakes I want to go to bed.)
Origins
I believe the current Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef is either completely or partially fabricated by certain industry leaders or the parties involved in an effort to distract from something bigger going down behind the scenes. If you were an influential label owner facing major accusations, and you needed to deflect media attention from yourself, recreating one of the most defining moments in rap history during the social media era would be a way to do it. It also wouldn’t hurt that two of the biggest rappers in the world were already sending shots at each other in their music for years prior. The public consensus is they are simply two famous rappers who hate each other and fighting over the spot for the top like in the 90’s. Only people who were directly involved could paint a more cohesive picture of the whole story. Even when all the cards drop, there is a good chance the average person won’t be able to find direct sources on their own and will continue to support their favorite artists and dismiss any evidence of their crimes like the drizzy subreddit or Ak fans.

As I said the beef between Kendrick and Drake has been brewing in the background for years, with both rappers sending shots and sneak dissing each other over the course of at least 8 years. The most agreed upon origin story is the first diss was the 2016 Big Sean and Kendrick collaboration, “Control,” and Drake responded with, “The Language”. Things stayed relatively lighthearted for a while and both were intentionally vague for many years. Before I go deep into the Kendrick and Drake stuff, it’s really important to examine some of Drake’s prior beefs because they add a ton of context to my theory. In my opinion Kendrick and Co. started scheming all of this some time around Mid 2020-Mid 2022, well after the whole Pusha T beef had transitioned into the Kanye beef.

What exactly started the beef is debatable, but at the time many attributed it to rumors of Drake pursuing Ye’s ex Amber Rose. Unfortunately the timeline isn’t 100 percent clear, and if I included every detail this would be at least 200+ pages so I’ll stick with the important stuff. The ultimate outcome of the Pusha T battle in 2018 was the revelation of Drake’s son Adidon that he had previously been hiding from the world along with getting Ye directly involved in the beef.

Here are some more examples of Drake antagonizing Ye and of him trying to use women as pawns to get material for his diss tracks. The Drake line, “Yeah, I probably go link to Yeezy, I need me some Jesus, but as soon as I start confessin' my sins, he wouldn't believe us," could be a reference to sleeping with Kim Kardashian, trying to double down on his threats to harm him or his family, or it could be a double entendre. Another example is using the name Kiki in another song, which was apparently one of Kim’s nicknames. Some other possible examples include the theories he may have tried the same thing with Kendrick’s wife Whitney around 2020-2021 in an attempt to use as ammo against Kendrick, which I’ll go into later. I don’t listen to much of either artist's music, but there are probably many of other examples in Drake’s catalogue that I’m leaving out. There is also his song Omerta released in 2019, which I'll go into below.

(Probably referring to Kim Kardashian since she had a few pictures with her wearing diamond ankle bracelets and was trying to make it into a trend.

(There were various rumors floating around for a while that Drake was blackmailing Ye with something and he was fighting to keep it from the public. I thought about it and this line might be referencing a sex tape with Kim or her little sister who me was very touch before she turned 18. In 2022 there was a whole storyline on Kim’s show where Ye flies to LA to prevent her second sex tape from being released.)

(Sounds a lot more like it could be crypto to launder or send large amounts of ill gotten gains. It started becoming mainstream around them)

These lines stood out because they could be referring to Ye telling the public about Drake's alleged threats a couple months before the songs release. This happened not long after the release of Sicko mode which was towards the end of 2018 as well. Ye was discussing the incident on Twitter and reached out to Drake and Travis to talk to him in private. In the next set of tweets Kanye publicly accused Drake of threatening him and his family in a major way. Surprisingly Ye seemed genuinely scared and amongst his, “crazy rants,” some of the stuff he said makes a ton of sense in hindsight. This also the beginning of his second serious public struggles with Bipolar disorder after being committed in 2016 shortly after an on stage rant where he calls out Jay Z for selling out and says he's afraid he might kill him.. As someone who shares the same diagnosis, I have a pretty good understanding of mania and psychosis and firmly believe that it's important not to write people off right away due to their mental illness. Some of my most thoughtful, creative, and productive periods were inspired by mania. Industry bigwigs have also been using mental illness to discredit influential black celebrities and visionaries going back decades, but it really picked up in the 80’s.

Dave Chappelle has gone into this a lot in the past and claims he experienced something similar before he quit show business and dipped to Africa. Their stories have a lot of interesting parallels if you’re familiar or curious. I remember he actually visited Ye at his house in Wyoming after he was reported to have had a, "mental breakdown," during his presidential run in 2020 thus marking his third breakown in six years.. The reason I put it in quotes is because it happened right after he publicly accused Kim of cheating and delivered his legendary speech on abortion. Dave went as far as going on live tv and telling the public he wasn’t crazy, he was just really struggling because he was the only one at the time fighting against the narrative, which can often be a suicide mission or a ticket to obscurity. These are three examples of someone speaking up and being deemed crazy, two years later came the nazi stuff and I'm sure we'll have plenty in store for 2024.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the very common pattern of artists dying or having their careers destroyed either after they try to leave their label or threaten to reveal industry secrets. A few more interesting industry connections I made in my research include the connections between:

T.U.G. records and J Cole's independent label Dreamville are both managed by Interscope Records, whose parent company is Universal Music Group.

Universal Music Group also hac Drake's label OvO label as well as Ye and Kendrick's old labels on their roster before they left to form their own independent labels in 2022 (around the same time the disses between Kendrick and Drake started escalating). Finally Bad Boy Records, which is owned by Diddy, and Motown Records who own Diddy's other R&B label Love Records, are also both owned by Universal. This means every label I mention is currently or was previously owned by Universal Music Group.

Ye tried for years to get out of his contract with Defjam, which happens to be ran by Jay Z who is known to be a close associate of Diddy. Jay would always used his money and power to fight against it. Ye even spoke out publicly on a few occasions, including when he said Jay Z was trying to kill him during one of his concerts. My theory is after years of getting nowhere and having his reputation skewered, in 2022 Ye finally said, "Fuck it," and dropped all the anti- Semetic stuff intentionally in a successful attempt to force his label to into using their morality clause, which requires labels to drop an artist if they're accused of any major controversy that could hurt the label’s profits. For the fourth time in four years the media reported he was having a breakdown. Even though they tried to punish him by cutting off all of his sources of income and freezing his accounts he still managed to bounce back pretty quickly. It was often reported how much he was losing, but it rarely discussed how he still was filthy rich in spite of the retrictions. His label wanted to discourage other artists from trying the same thing. My theory is he might have bought Kim or Kylie's alleged sex tape and used it for his own leverage. For Kendrick, his transition to his independent label ApLang went a lot smoother, but he had to split ownership of his new label with the previous manager owner Dave Free. Sadly it's still difficult for new or more niche artists to establish themselves without the some help.

He may be a lot of things but Ye isn’t dumb just because he has a mood disorder and the guys at the top know this, which is why I think he has really played up his diagnosis when it benefitted him. He’s still one of the most talented musicians in the game and I really think he sees his bipolar like a superpower as he says. It’s like his own invisibility cloak. He can go off his meds for a little, make an album after staying up for 72 hours, go on a “psychotic” twitter rant dropping facts throughout, then start up again once he makes enough news headlines. I think it’s worth noting the first divorce rumors in 2020 coincided with Ye’s abortion speech during his presidential run and the cheating accusations. that led to him dropping out and moving to Wyoming, and a couple months ago in February 2024 he was committed again.

The point I’m making is bipolar is complex, but pretty manageable especially if you have a ton of money to find meds that work for you and a good doctor and can keep substance abuse and stress at a manageable level. I think Ye is smart enough to know this, but it’s just safer for him to really play up the mental issues in the media. He’s proven he can literally say whatever he wants after getting cancelled and the average person is just going to write it off as psycho babble. While bias in health care is a sad fact of society, if you can use it to your advantage I say go for it. It might’ve just kept the microscope off of him long enough to plan his attack.

These first four tweets by Ye were all in reference to perceived threats made by Drake after their beef escalated circa 2018. He began speaking on the industry and talking more about his psych hospital commitment two years prior and how he thought they were going to kill him. It's pretty obvious how the whole thing was planned by the sketchy doctor who called it in and his physical trainer who has a ton of connections to weird shit involving his celebrity clients.

I found interesting that Ye might not have been the first major league rapper whose life Drake threatened. During a similar period of mental illness the up and coming rapper XXXtentacion accused Drake of stealing his flow and dissed him a few times. Not long after he made a post online saying if he dies, it was Drake who did it. There are tons of conspiracies online, but none of the evidence is strong enough to draw a definitive connection. Also while it maybe be coincidental, Kendrick’s latest album Mr Morale also painted the picture that Kendrick was dealing with some serious personal issues. Some lines throughout the album may have been used to bait Drake into escalating, but it wasn’t until The Weekend, Future, and Metro Booming dropped, “We Don’t Trust You,” then Drake and J. Cole dropped, “First Person Shooter,” which was followed a couple days later with, “Like That,” where Kendrick started the chain of events that has led us to today.

Summary: Ye runs for president and gets suppressed for saying what very well could be the truth and was immediately deemed insane by the media. Kim did a couple interviews and everything he said was immediatly false. There is almost guarenteed to be some sketchy shit going down revolving her and her family. Ye was absolutely terrified of her keeping the kids away from him and it seems like there are still efforts being made to this day to paint a certain image of him for ulterior motives.

These people include rap artist Drake and Larsa Pippen, wife of Scottie Pippe. Kim K is goddaughter to Pippen's daughter, showing how close the families actually are. All of these families that associate with Ye through Kardashian connections, as well as Drake, have been accused of the same thing Kris has. EVERY SINGLE ONE of these people have mixed race children that are groomed from a young age to fuck around with celebrities so the parents can remain famous. Drake on numerous occasions has been accused of grooming girls and then getting handsy on their 18th birthday.”

Amongst the twitter rant, Ye warned about the predatory nature of record deals and discussed trying to get out of his own deal, and said again how his life may be in danger if it wasn’t already and was doing anything he could to protect his kids. The most fascinating part to me though is the public call to arms he made to Drake, J Cole, and Kendrick on twitter. After inviting them to all link up, he said, “It’s time to get free, we will not argue amongst each other while some guy we don’t know in Europe is getting paid and putting that money in a hedge fund.” I believe if Ye was able to pull off this meeting, there is an ever so slight chance that all four artists might be working together to take down a greater enemy. Weirdly there have been times throughout the last couple years where these supposed enemies were photographed together being friendly or praise each other in interviews, then out of no where the disses would start flying again.

To wrap things up I want to share my a few of my theories about the Drake/Kanye beef

A. Everything is exactly as it seems and the beef is over. Ye let his mental illness ruin his life and career so Drake simply picked another target after Ye stopped putting out disses. All of these connections are just a coincidence and all of this was choreographed to boost Drake and Kendrick’s music sales and possibly distract people from the Diddy trial and possibly the complicated geopolitical issues currently facing the U.S.

C. There is also the possibility that all four rappers are in cahoots and Drake’s dirt isn’t as extreme as people are theorizing, at least in comparison to the rest of the business. This could explain why everything has played out like a movie and how they were able to predict each other’s moves so well. This could either mean they’re all just trying to boost their sales or they’re all trying to take down the “slave masters,” as Ye calls them, and change the dynamic of the music industry in favor of the artist.

D. They may be trying to help their friends in the industry who are being abused or in shitty contracts. I know a lot of famous rappers have done a lot of collaborations with Jhene Aiko and Anderson Paak, who were both signed to T.U.G. records which I mentioned above in the connections to Universal Music Group. Considering they are both frequent collaborators with all of the artists involved on both sides, it’s not unlikely they may have played some part in influencing the takedown.

T.U.G was started by Chris Stokes with his partner Ketrina Askew. Back in the early to mid 90’s were gaining popularity attracting lots of young up and coming talent. They often collaborated with Diddy and his associates. In the 2000’s Raz B from the boy band B2K claimed he was molested by Stokes and his friend Marques Houston, then quickly retracted his claims. Years later he came forward again and said we was bribed into silence and that the rest of the victims were bribed with hush money and had another singer corroborate his story and they came forward together to level the accusations. After some of his former B2K members made fun of him for his claims and accused it of being a shakedown, Raz B revealed Stokes and Houston had preyed a lot of the children associated with the label including at least one of the former bandmates and paid them off.

I thought it was worth noting that the second whistleblower named Quindon Tarver died young in a car crash after mentioning his abuse again a few years prior. He seems to have left the industry not long after the incidents occurred and has few credits to his name. To this day Raz B is still trying to get his justice, while Stokes and his partner Askew, who was also involved in the abuse are still running the label to this day. Askew also has a ton of lawsuits, accusing her of using shady tactics to try to foreclose on houses. (Don’t quote me if a lawyer wants to take a look just google her full name), and has been tied to a ton of LLCs, similar to Drake. This is a good example of a shitty record deal, but I'm sure they have countless other friends in the industry who have even worse. While they were never convicted even Chris Stokes' wife confirmed it to be true.

E. The theory I personally think fits the narrative best and is the most realistic conspiracy is that Kendrick and possibly J. Cole went to the meeting, but not Drake due to his close relationship with Lucian Grange, the president of Drake’s label. Silence often speaks louder than words and this could explain why Kendrick was so ruthless and put so much effort into finding dirt on Drake. Ye, Cole, and Kendrick co-writing would be like the rap allstar team and if J. Cole wasn’t involved, it would also answer the question of whether or not he baited Drake into the battle by asking him to feature. I don’t think Drake is really their primary target though, which would explain letting him off easy. Compared to his bosses and their bosses he’s a small fish. If you take the big guys down you stand a better chance of landing a bigger blow on their operation.

Another really interesting connection is Kendrick and Ye were both signed under Universal Music Group and they both got out of their deals around couple months apart in 2022. As we speak U.M.G’s CEO Lucian Grange, who is often acccused of giving Drake special treatment, is facing charges related to sex trafficking by no other than P Diddy. This could very well explain the timing of it all. The craziest timeline would be Diddy masterminding all of this and using his connections to get it done and all the allegations are bullshit. The guy does seem pretty confident all things considered and constantly posts himself in his Batman costume which could mean he’s a vigilante.

It seems like there's a slight religious angle as well. (Ye and Diddy are both very vocal advocates of Christianity and Drake and Lucian Grange are both Jewish.) Obviously this is a reach, but they’ve been saying rap music was specifically promoted by mostly white label owners in the 80’s to help in the ongoing effort to expedite the systematic oppression of those living in black neighborhoods and the destruction of their family systems. Apparently it was an intentional decision to heavily promote rappers that promoted the very things that were destroying their neighborhoods. (So people know I'm and atheist and have zero agenda, I just thought it was interesting, please stay away from anything antisemitic. War is wrong on both sides.)

*** If my favorite theory is true, there is a possibility the Kendrick and Ye are going after Drake due to their mutual disdain for him and because he’s got a ton of power to dominate the charts and hog the radio airtime like Meek Mill and OG Maco claimed years ago. Even him dropping a record the same day as you could really fuck your album sales up. I’m also sure some of the many rumors throughout the years have had a least some truth and he will most likely snitch to avoid cell block one. I think that Drake could have been instructed to instigate this whole mess in order to draw attention away from the UMG charges brought about by Diddy. Or on the other hand it could be that Kendrick, Ye, and possibly Cole, may have had intel that Drake was going to be involved in the Diddy trial and are just gonna let the receipts show themselves. It might not have been the original plan, but they’ve already accomplished their mission of humiliating him, assuring he couldn’t use his influence to slide through the cracks, and taking over the throne.

Drake and Diddy Connections+Coincidences

Drake- In the P Diddy wig video from 2016 he talks about going to party with Drake, Cash, and The Weeknd in Toronto. Drake is also one of Birdman’s protégées who is known for being a predator and is rumored to have used label artists to lure young women.

Travis Scott- Interview where he comes out and says Diddy tried to lure him. Still has a long history of associating with him, video of him running from Diddy, his connection to Ruby Rose while underage.

Tim Westwood- Diddy had connections with sex offender Tim Westwood who also inspired the Drake song, “Westwood”. They also both were victims of drive by shootings along with The Weekend and they were all facing some type of allegations.

T.I.- Also has been associate with Diddy through the years, in 2021 his kid died and 11 women can forward at the same time to accuse him and his wife of drugging and assaulting them. Clearly someone wanted to fuck his life up. Possibly due to him getting arrested so many times for wild shit and people wondering how he continued to get away with it shining a light on how powerful industry lawyers are. He also had recently talked about having a gynecologist check to see if his daughter is still a Virgin, which sounds like it could have been an industrty secret. Could have been because he worried about someone trying to take advantage of her to get to him? Regardless that shit is fucking insane.

50 Cent- Has been saying pretty much the same thing as Travis Scott and has trolled Diddy for most of his career. It came out that his wife was a sex worker who was possibly recruited Diddy to help ruin his career. It sort of worked, which raises the question if 50 Cent is the only victim.

Ray J- Him and his sister worked with T.U.G. records when they were very young. Chris Stokes in the nineties who had connections with Diddy. He has been involved in a lot of sex scandals and allegedly may have played a part in Whitney Houston's death. (Which is also allegedly connected to Michael Jackson's death and both were deemed suspicious and happened during their final tours when their masters (song rights), became more valuable than their lives. Sony Records and Tommy Motolla, who also abused Mariah Carey when she was trying to start her career. These are just a few of the alleged examples of labels taking out musicians when they were worth more dead, another is the signing of high risk artists and requiring them to get life insurance so they can profit beyond releasing all their posthumous records. Also the ever so common story of the rising star artist that die at 21 after their first album or two.

He also partied with Diddy in Vegas with along Floyd Mayweather and a bunch of other famous industry people and athletes.

Tory Lanez- Tons of blackmail, also was signed by Interscope under UMG. got sent to prison for ten years after trying to leave his label. Also history of SA and and other allegations of violence towards women.

French Montana- On Diddy's label, close with Rick and Khaled, tons of drug and sexual assault allegations, also dated a Kardashian. Generally grimy.

DJ Khaled- Diddy said he could get anything in Miami, either referring to drugs or women, could explain his connections and lack of any notable talent. (New update, he was one of the first to promote Chris Alvarez’s instagram not long after he turned 18).

Rick Ross- Diddy said some weird shit about him and licked his lips and kissed him at a show. Ross is also signed to Bad Boy under Diddy. He ended up getting involved in the current feud and spamming social media nonstop dissing and threatening Drake.

A lot of the back and forth was both of them threatening to release dirt on each other. One strange coincidence I found was Drake recently trolled Ross about the 20 million dollar renovation to his home on Star island, where Diddy is currently residing. It’s rumored back in the day that P Diddy was caught in a room full of rich guys on ecstasy possibly at the beginning stages of a gay orgy. Drake also mentioned in the same tweets about Rick Ross that Birdman owned a house on the island and asked Rick Ross why he didn’t help him out.

Considering Ross is so sketchy and Drake claims the house isn’t that big, that’s a ridiculous amount of money. He may be covering up evidence, or creating tunnels in his house to escape if shit pops off and Drake might know what’s good. Interestingly enough Ross is very close with French Montana and also signed to Bad. He said his beef was related to something involving French, and Drake’s tweet popped up the same day the info came out concerning the Chris Alvarez stuff.

Meek Mill- “OG Maco called himself defending his friend Quentin Miller by substantiating the ghostwriting claims and agreeing with Meek. He hit up Twitter saying, "Some of us been knew. Meek just put it in the air. Sucks to have to compete with 6 n****s and get compared to”

Meek mill also had a short beef with Drake, some disses included lines referring to TI’s homie pissing on Drake at the movie theater, which is also interesting considering the current case against him. He also dropped a line saying Diddy almost got a domestic charge when he smacked Drake, which could either be saying that Drake is like a woman, or saying he was Drake’s boyfriend/sugar daddy.

I thought it was interesting how the beef just kind of disappeared and even Meek said it didn’t seem genuine. Considering the allegations against Meek in the Diddy trial, and his rumored affair with Kim contributing to ending Kanye’s marriage, Meek Mill definitely did some dirt on him.

Grew up in the industry and talks about growing up on the road and being in the studio with his dad and Rick James who was should have already been in prison for life for dragging, torturing, and S assaulting multiple women and children throughout his career and was himself a victim of the industry. May be part of Ye's motivation, considering their recent close working relationship.

Before going into it, I want to mention how this post was inspired by three things. One was user u/HastyvonFuego2 and their post on going down the rabbit hole on the Kendrick sub last week. It was also inspired by Childish Gambino’s first album release in nearly 6 years where I have been sitting on this idea for a while but he inspired me to finally post this week like he did (never posted on Reddit at all before so be gentle if I am not doing it right)! I was also inspired by an interview Bino gave to GQ about breaking down his most iconic characters. In this interview he says how This is America started out as a Drake diss but then he realized the song was too hard for just Drake so he kept working on it. He also talks in this interview about how all culture is about compression. Which means that yes, This is America is about the gun violence and police issues in America, but compressed in this video is also more about where that culture comes from which he shows is from a small handful of rap moguls, namely Drake, Diddy and Jay-Z (bear with me on this long post, I think/hope it will be worth it). At the end I talk briefly about how Little Foot Big Foot might be in this same vein of cultural compression.

The beginning of this song has no background music yet, which really gives it an ‘in the beginning’ feel. Then Gambino starts doing his dances with weird facial expressions. I will explain as we go through his video how those expressions and dance moves represent different famous rap moguls. One easy look to pick out right away is Jay-Z’s famous lip curl/growl look that Gambino gives with a head nod repeatedly. The colonial pants have been a hot topic, but since it’s only the pants that are colonial, Gambino is saying the bottom or basis for this violent culture in America is ultimately colonialism. The lyrics ‘Go Away’, are likely foreshadowing the rap moguls wanting other popular rap rivals to ‘go away’ or they will make them (aka murder them) for profit.

Usually you want money for yourself and to party for yourself, so this is a bit odd. But what Gambino is referring to is similar to these Diddy ‘freakoff parties’ we are hearing about where people who want to be famous are really partying for these rap moguls so they can get close to them. Where they suck up to them saying that they want to earn the mogul money from their songs.

Then this almost feels like the Diddy rebuttal where he’s like ya I know you want to party and you want to do it for free. Like Katt Williams says, “you gotta tell Diddy no”, it is never free to go to those parties. There are always consequences. When you are partying you are dancing, but shaking the frame could refer to how those boundaries/edges are being crossed, lines are blurred, etc.
Then in the video, the fellow who was playing the guitar gets shot and things turn dark from happy music. I believe that this guitar tune is meant to represent 2Pac and Nas’s song Thugz Mansion. It’s one of the original greats from ‘in the beginning’. Nas famously has always had major issues with Jay-Z too (More on why 2Pac and Nas later). It also represents how it was these moguls who murdered 2Pac like Jaguar Wright and Katt Williams keep saying. Where these murders only lead to more money and fame for the killers when the dead artists’ and their music are exploited more easily.
Also note that the gun gets taken away by a school kid after the shooting, more on this later as well.

There is a song called Guns in My Area by Lil Weiner and Baby Chapox that paints a vivid picture of the everyday struggles and conflicts faced by those living in communities affected by gun violence. More compression of other songs and the American gun culture.

I am almost certain this line is referring to 2Pac’s song Changes. Throughout This is America, Gambino takes lines from Pac’s song: “They get jealous when they see you with your mobile phone” (referred to later in this a Celly, that’s tool) “That's the sound of my tool, you say it ain't cool, My mama didn't raise no fool”
“And as long as I stay black, I gotta stay strapped, And I never get to lay back” It seems like Gambino broke up these lyrics and scattered them throughout his song. This plays into the theme that everyone is using 2Pac and enriching themselves off of his image and music. I show below how this particular section of the video represents Diddy meaning that Diddy himself is exploiting his music (and alleging that Diddy killed Pac?). We could see this exploitation play out at length with how much Diddy milked the death of Biggie like in Every Breath You Take.

The song Gorilla War by $uicideboy$ and Ramirez talks about getting a bag repeatedly in the course. Also in Otis with Kanye and Jay-Z their lyrics talk about going gorilla (I talk about this song more further down), so it could be referring to this as well. It seems like Gambino is trying to pull out lyrics from all across the rap culture and embed them in his song to highlight the ‘cultural compression’.

I think that all of the school kids in the video represent all of the rappers that are signed with these big labels. Which is interesting because they are the ones facilitating the guns for the moguls in the video. You can see that the mogul is really focused on the kids and gets agitated and directs them to follow him whenever they stray off a bit like they are his pupils, or like he owns them. Then all of a sudden the camera comes into a scene where you can see more kids shooting a rap video and all shooting money from a Supreme gun. The camera zooms out almost to show you that this is the mogul’s whole rap empire they are looking over, all of their kids in one place (this empire already includes some chaos in the background). It’s subtle but hilarious, Gambino puts fricken chickens on the ground where the kids are filming the rap video. He is directly calling all of these rappers complete chickens for playing up this lifestyle and being the cause of so much chaos rather than coming out and telling somebody what’s really going on. Trying to get their money over everything else.

This is where things start to get interesting. Gambino is literally saying, go tell somebody about this! We all know what’s happening, why don’t you go let people know how bad it is? But like Jaguar Wright said, who do you tell when these moguls have the cops and feds paid off? This video is literally Gambino putting it all out there in this extremely popular song for everyone to see but yet we still just see the dancing and the violent chaos of people and police in the streets and not the root cause that is hidden in plain sight.
The vast majority of those who reviewed this video until now think this scene represents the tragic church shooting in Charleston in 2015. I think it does, but we also have to look at this from an angle of compression.
The people in the choir are all of the people who are currently singing the rap mogul’s praises and who are focused on going and getting what’s owed to them, get their money (who are also profiting off of the dead fellows music since it goes back to the original tune). You can see that each choir member has a distinct look to them. Think about who you are hearing about now who is about to be implicated in these freak offs and evil deeds. Is that Will Smith in the back left corner!? The short bald fellow in the front left maybe Kevin Hart? Rick Ross or TD Jakes maybe the bigger guy towards the back right? When the camera zooms in on the choir right at first to show their faces, doesn’t the guy in the bottom middle look like an uncanny version of Jordan Peele? Or is that meant to be Cuba Gooding Jr? Then just like the guitar fellow at the beginning, bang. You may be singing Diddy’s praises now, but he will cut you down whenever he suddenly feels like it.
I think almost for sure this initial section of the music video is Gambino acting as Diddy, because right after he shoots the choir, he does the elbow pump/chicken dance. At 3:14 in Diddy’s video for P.E. 2000 he does the chicken dance (he is up first in the video and I think Gambino is trying to say here I first present to you the first public enemy of 3 in this song). That elbow dance signals that it was Diddy and this is the end of his section.

There have been many accounts of celebrities being given fancy cars after suffering abuse at the hands of these moguls. So these lyrics are saying that you better not slip up and tell people what’s really going on. And if you don’t look at this sweet carecord deal/movie contract I am going to give you. Beiber told this story about Diddy wanting to give him a luxury car.
Now suddenly, the dance switches from the chicken dance to a sudden bicep flex to signal us that we have now moved on from Gambino representing Diddy to our next mogul.

This next chunk of the video is all about Jay-Z. I think this is the case because he throws his arms up in a bicep flex just like Jay does in the Otis music video at 2:38. And it makes sense Gambino would pick a dance move from a video with a huge American flag in the background to fit the ‘This is America’ theme. Gambino is mocking him saying, who are you really, the pretty guy or this hard gangster like Gambino shows in his dancing. Also right before they pan to the kids on the balcony, Bino also does Jay-Z’s signature lip curl look a couple times so we know it’s him and to signal the end of his section.

Jay-Z is famous for making the fitted Yankees cap famous, it’s his signature look. More signs this verse is about Jay.

Jay-Z has been seen in full wallpaper Gucci sweat suits but could also be referring to Gucci Mane who he hung out with at Beyonce’s tour around the time this song was released.

These lines are probably referring to Jay-Z having a hidden preference for men, especially with the way Gambino flicks his wrist in the video when he says I’m so pretty.

I think that “this a celly, that’s a tool” harkens back to 2Pac’s lyrics in Changes where he sings, “They get jealous when they see ya with your mobile phone” then shortly after that he sings about the sound of his tool, referring to shooting a gun. But Childish flips these lyrics on their head. He is saying that it’s really the phone that’s a tool to be using, not a gun. And pans up and shows (the school kids specifically) on the balcony filming everything going on below. He’s telling the kids/other rappers, use your phone as a tool, you can record these bad deeds when you get blackmailed into being at the freak off. That’s how you can kill them and their career, not with a gun. Go tell somebody! There is also the reference to Kodak which plays into the picture taking theme, but also because Kodak Black has been accused of assaulting a teenage girl in a hotel room. So we have a good idea of what Gambino suggests all the kids start filming and collecting evidence of.

Now we are onto Drake’s part. In the video Gambino starts doing the BlocBoy JB dance called Shoot. Drake is known for doing these little viral dance moves like in Hotline Bling. But not only that, this dance is also used in the song that both BlocBoy JB and Drake collaborate on for their video Look Alive. It starts at 2:07 in the Look Alive video. So this is Drake’s dance to signal his part is now starting.
Note this is where the pale horse rides by also potentially saying that Drake is one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. Interestingly, Drake’s collab with BlocBoy JB was pretty much the apocalypse for BlocBoy’s career, who hasn’t had a hit since.

Again, we know this is Drake’s section because his song 10 bands starts out by saying “10 bands, 50 bands, 100 bands” almost identical to Bino’s lyrics here. Also Blocka was famously used by Biggie in his song Gimme the Loot which could be referring to Biggie's demise like Pac’s and making money from his death. Everything in this industry originates from pushing drugs, which has been alleged through the trafficking that Diddy, Jay-Z and Drake do through their private jets likely connected to their bosses, the Clive Davises and Lucian Grainges of the world. This escalates rap beefs and the whole culture to the next level where murder is often a consequence for young rappers in their prime when international drug lord money is involved.
An interesting point is this is the only time where Childish was about to shoot someone in the video, but where he didn’t have a school kid either handing him the gun or taking it away carefully from him. (Maybe also a diss at Drake that even though he acts hard he doesn’t shoot, he gets his horseman of the apocalypse to do his dirty deeds for him instead perhaps?). This is the beginning of the end for the rap mogul as he no longer has his kids doing his bidding for him. A simple message to show how the violence can be stopped, that these shootings can end when the kids stop enabling them. So then as soon as he can’t react in that moment and shoot someone his anger is forced to chill out, as shown by smoking a J, and to go back to exploiting the dead man’s music instead. If you don’t put a gun in someone’s hand when they are heated, those feelings too shall pass - kinda feel.

Whose voice does that sound like!? It sounds a lot like Diddy to me, public enemy #1. This is basically saying that the moguls are the ones who we all owe it to for all of this glorified gun violence in America. That we owe them way more follows and likes for what a massive influence they have had on the violence and chaos we see in America today.

In Moneybagg Yo’s song 1, 2, 3, he also has a line that says “1, 2, 3, let’s go!” in a similar vein.
But something interesting I came across was Nas’s song Get Down where they use a sample from James Brown's “The Boss” that sounds extremely similar to the way Gambino screams “Get Down!” Which would fit well if the guitar singer from the beginning is meant to be Nas and Pac doing Thugz Mansion.
Also make sure you check out Nas’s song Get Down so that you can hear how much Jay-Z outright copied this song for The Story of OJ. From the musical structure with the piano and interwoven samples right down to the theme reiterated by the sample at the end of Nas’s song: “If that’s how our people are gonna get down, how are we ever gonna get up?”
SZA
Finally to wrap up the video, I have been stumped for a long time as to why SZA is randomly at the end of this video sitting on one of the cars. But I think I finally know why and it reconfirms that this last scene is all about Drake. If you watch Drake’s music video for Worst Behavior (not very Canadian of him to spell behaviour that way I might add) you will see Drake rapping and dancing with a few cars surrounding him and one of those cars has other rappers making cameos in it. In Gambino’s video SZA represents that car with a famous cameo. I think this is further confirmed when the black edges of the video start closing inwards at the end of This is America, the exact same way that Worst Behavior ends. So why SZA as the cameo then? Cause it reminds people that Drake is a p*do.
This is from an article in the Rolling Stone: In 2020, Drake revealed publicly that he and SZA had dated over a decade ago, well before she was an established artist (her earliest music goes back to around 2012; her critical breakthrough, Ctrl, came in 2017). On 21 Savage’s “Mr. Right Now,” Drake rapped about a newer fling who was a fan of SZA’s: “Yeah, said she wanna fuck to some SZA, wait / ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08 / If you cool with it, baby, she can still play.” A few days later, SZA responded, corroborating Drake’s claim with a slight correction: they dated in 2009, when both would have been over 18. Since SZA would not have turned 18 until late 2008, she wanted to set the record straight. “in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered 🥴lol I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait [sic],” she tweeted. “I just didn’t want anybody thinking anything underage or creepy was happening . Completely innocent . Lifetimes ago . [sic]”
If you have to specifically say something isn’t creepy and distance yourself from it being lifetimes ago, it usually is creepy. Drake would’ve been 22 when she was 17. Metro Boomin also happens to be on the Mr. Right Now track. He is currently in trouble for resurfaced old tweets showing how Metro used to tweet disgusting things about what he wanted to do to underage girls. Interestingly, Metro Boomin is also now beefing with Drake.
Drake doing his dance on the car of the original musician’s music seems to be accusing Drake directly of stealing 2Pac’s music. Orlando Brown recently said the cryptic statement that “Drake is Pac” which likely means he stole 2Pac’s approach/style/audience after his death. "Rakata", "Mirame", "Verte", "Mayor Que Yo", "Tiburon", "Es Mejor Olvidarlo", "Dejala Volar", "Castigo", "Tortura" (Yaga & Mackie), so many memorable songs specifically created for this masterpiece of an album. You don't know true Reggaeton if you don't know "Mas Flow 2".
3. Hector & Tito – A La Reconquista (2002)
"A La Reconquista" was actually the first major label release for a Reggaeton album to achieve wide success. Hector & Tito were in peak form with their writing partner Don Omar who wrote a large chunk of the album along with contributions from Noriega. This album is the one that made Luny Tunes & Noriega into the superstar production team they became. Originally DJ Blass and DJ Goldy were going to produce it, but Hector felt he needed a more commercial sound and then DJ Nelson had him working with Luny Tunes who ended up producing the majority of the album. Eliel, Nelson and Goldy contribute to album as well which is chock full of signature songs such as "Gata Salvaje", "Yo Te Buscaba", "Duele", "Caserio" feat. Don Omar, "De Niña a Mujer" feat. Don Omar, "Felina", "Bandida Universitaria" and more. The album sold over 400 thousand units worldwide.
4. Vico C – En Honor a la Verdad (2003)
Vico C came back better than ever on "En Honor A La Verdad". It was like what if we got a wiser, but equally deadly Vico C like in his best days (1988-1993) and hooked him up with the modern sound of the time? The result was "En Honor a la Verdad" which many consider Vico's best album in his illustrious career. The production was handled by DJ Blass, Echo and Vico C himself. It is intelligent, but with enough mainstream appeal to sell over 200 thousand units worldwide. Vico never dumbed himself down like most do in this game. He should be commended for that.
5. Luny Tunes & Tainy – Los Benjamins La Continuacion (2007)
Underappreciated in its time and bigger in the bootleg circuits through Latin America than in actual sales, Luny Tunes & Tainy launched an expanded edition of "Los Benjamins" only 6 months after the album's first version was released which received a mixed reaction and sold far less than "Mas Flow 2". This perfected version sadly was originally a limited edition thus not everyone heard it at the time. It wasn't until blog sites posted free downloads of the album in zip files that it has caught on within the Reggaeton community and hailed as the classic work it always was. It's hard to believe that some actually thought "Los Benjamins" sucked when it first came out. How!? This still boggles me too, but maybe there was too much hype and the lack of solo DY or Hector songs along with RKM & Ken-Y missing though originally announced for the project maybe peeved some fans off. Also Tego, Eddie Dee, Vico C, Ivy Queen, Nicky Jam and other big names were missing from the original version (Ivy Queen appears in a remix exclusive for the expanded edition). Plus, no one cared RBD was on this. That hyped up collabo was pointless. But in the long term this album has become much more appreciated by newer generations especially since "Mas Flow 2" is yet to be available on streaming services. The music production is also a masterclass far superior than most works today.
6. Don Omar – The Last Don (2003)
You know your album is good when old school salsa folks praise your work. That's what Don Omar did with "The Last Don". He took chances that others rarely did at the time such as the tropical infusions, ballads and street songs all combining to make one hell of an album. "The Last Don" has a little bit for everyone from the battle rap style malianteos with Hector and DY, to the club bangers like "Tu Cuerpo Me Arrebata" feat. Trebol Clan, "Intocable" or "Dale Don Dale". Of course "Dile" has now become a song that embodies Latino culture and our music overall. It is alongside "Guantanamera" and "El Cantante" from Hector Lavoe as himnos that are inseparable from Hispanic culture on a global level. The rest of the album is very good as well.
7. Calle 13 – (Self Titled Debut) [2005]
Residente & Visitante broke through an invisible glass ceiling within the pantheon of Reggaeton and Latin Rap; which was that artists with an alternative sound and point of view could never achieve widespread success or acclaim. That changed with their self titled debut album that has sold over 500 thousand units worldwide to date. "Atrevete-te" is still an anthem adopted by modern generations which seems to resonate with today's audience more than the one of the time. But the deep cuts on the album are what gives it the historical significance like his verbal attack on P Diddy and American corporations coming into Puerto Rico to exploit the Urbano culture he represented. Other songs criticizing the corrupt local government but also making you dance with silly lyrics, non sequiturs along with battle rap lyrics that most MCs could never compete with. Visitante's unique production style with contributions from DJ Blass and Danny Fornaris fit the album's motif perfectly and it is Residente's most acclaimed work to date.
8. Daddy Yankee – Barrio Fino (2004)
DY's magnum opus is the second highest selling Reggaeton album of all time after BB's 'Un Verano Sin Ti'. Yes, "Gasolina" is overplayed to the Latin community especially those of us true Reggaeton lovers, but its a classic song. The rest of the album is filled with memorable tracks as well like "Tu Principe" with Zion & Lennox, "Mami No Me Dejes Solo" feat. Wisin & Yandel, "King Daddy", "El Muro", "Corazones", "Dale Caliente" feat. Blacka Nice, "Sabor a Melao" with Andy Montañez and the inescapable "Lo Que Paso Paso" which still receives plenty of airplay on all platforms to this day. It was universally appealing with this being the last time Yankee did a work that was acclaimed with the mainstream and the underground at the same time.
9. Tres Coronas - Nuestra Cosa (2006)
Tres Coronas have performed the songs from this album in stadiums on more than one occasion with a large portion of the crowd knowing and rhyming along to the lyrics. This album was created when they still had the supremely underrated Reychesta and were a trio. No other pure Hip Hop album from this era has had the influence in Latin America "Nuestra Cosa" did. So I have been dating this girl for 9 months, im 25 while she is 24 and we were both virgins while we met but im so glad I met her. I have been working as an optometrist tech/front desk receptionist for nearly 3 years now. I have met many wonderful people who have made my job one of my favorites. But then, as with any job, there are days that feel more like a fever dream than reality. Today and yesterday have been one of those days. I've had a random person shove their lip piercing into my hand and had me try to help them put it back in. They were quickly kicked out and told to go to the Claire's piercing store. These stories are expected from retail. These are fairly tame.
My tales from working as a receptionist at the optometry office are a little more...unique, I suppose. I've had the typical arguing against policies. Refusal to pay the cancellation fee that they were warned about in advance. Refusal to pay the recheck fee if their initial exam was over 3 months ago. EXTRA refusal to pay for a new exam if their initial visit was over 6 months ago. Typical things every receptionist at every doctor's office has experienced. Nothing too crazy so far. Then, yesterday, I received a phone call. A patient was trying to find our office. Here is the best reenactment I can give:
patient: Where are you guys located?
Me: We are on X and Y street.
patient: How do you get there?
me: you get onto Y street and drive until you hit X. we are across the street from store A and store B.
patient: So how do I get there from where I am?
me: where are you at currently?
patient: I am at B and C street.
me: oh! You're at the other location near the mall.
patient: yeah, but I want to know how to get to you.
me: get onto Y street. drive until you hit X street. Turn onto X street. We are in the strip mall area with store L.
patient: oh, okay! I would be using my maps, but the government is tracking me through their satellites. They know I'm onto them. People tell me that it's dangerous and they'll kill me. But that's fine. I don't care. If I die in a fiery crash, then I guess it's nighty night for me! I'll see my mom again! I know my God! I know I'm a good person! I'll go to heaven! I feel like it's my duty to let people like you and the elderly know about this. I know the truth about P. Diddy! The people saying they've seen aliens and been abducted? The government is trying to silence them! And people wonder how I'm able to go through this and just laugh, it's because I know I'm going to heaven! I'm a good person! You just gotta be careful. They were laughing during this last part. I was also trying to find a way to professionally get off the phone because another patient had come in for their appointment. This is the third time someone has ranted about their conspiracy theories to me. They were not the craziest person I have come across, but that is a tale for a different day.
On to this morning. I received a call from an online contact dispensary.
them: Hi, we have a mutual patient. Can I get confirmation on their prescription? The one they submitted looks...altered.
me: sure! I need name and birthday..........okay it looks like their prescription expired almost a year ago.
them: that's what I thought. You can tell they poorly altered the dates on here.
To sum it up: the patient tried to commit fraud by manually changing the expiration dates on their prescription so they didn't have to get a new exam. The dispensary caught it and wanted to confirm. The incident was marked in the chart.
Shortly after that phone call, a patient came in and within 2 minutes of the check in, tried to steal me from my boss so I could work at their law firm instead. They asked if I had been here long or if I had just gotten the job. Once they learned I had been here for 3 years, they dropped the subject. Maybe they knew I wouldn't be interested. Maybe they were looking for someone new to the position and wanted someone naive. Either way, that sent up a few red flags for me. Also, I love my job way too much to leave.

A lot of people say it takes two to tango. A lot of people say you're born alone and you die alone. A lot of people say a lot of stupid and dangerous things. My story is definitely in the category of things both stupid and dangerous.
Now, I like to think I was just trying to do the right thing in the wrong place at the wrong time. I also liked to think I'm somewhat good looking and have a dash of the riz but try online dating in NYC long enough and see how good looking and charming you really are, Slick. You'd think I'd be able to compensate with brains and charisma and material wealth but, just, no.
I mean nobody ever once accused me of being a genius, especially on the short bus as a kid in South Brooklyn. There's a metric fuckton I don't know. However, what I do know is that I seem to be a marked man. Yes, that's right; marked for the big sleep, the long goodbye, the final curtain; the grim reaping; death.
How do I know this you ask?
Ways I know I am a marked man:
Received a text message from an unknown number two days ago with a picture of a mostly severed head that looked astoundingly like photoshopped me. It was labeled with a commemorative message in wedding invitation font that read;
Nobody dissrespectz [sic] my sister corpse boy and I wanted a nephew; you fuckin' pansy, and;
I received an unexpected box left in the vestibule of my apartment building
The box was addressed to me. Affixed to top of the box an adhesive return label read:

Being not too smart I opened the box. I was hoping for a phantom tollbooth but alas, inside the big, corrugated cardboard box was only to be found a small and dead garden snake bearing a laser printed gift card which read, "Crawling's too good for you, Hubert. You can slither but you can't hide corpse boy!"
As my wife Vera only had one only brother, Humphrey, who had been in and out of the psych ward more times than I had fickle fingers, I had a pretty good idea who might be referring to me as, "corpse boy."
I turned the box upside down and let the snake fall out. It was deader than disco. Next to it lay a lone brass bullet. I picked it up to examine it between thumb and forefinger of my lefthand. Etched in the side it read, "Hubert." I felt someone dancing the lambada on my grave. I put the bullet in my pocket. A clue?
...
I know. It's a lot to unpack. Brooklyn aging man marked for death and kind of slow on the uptake but there it is in black and white.
How did I end up here?
I like to make lists, especially when I need to figure stuff out. So far, I can only come up with two main reasons for my current plight.
Reasons I'm Fucked
because of a demon named Hubert whose name I bear due to a family curse, and,
because I am a dyed in the wool romantic
Let's unpack this.
Things to unpack:
The Demon Hubert possessing my soul and Romantic Me getting into all kinds of stupid, dangerous trouble.
Let's start before the start.

1. The Demon Hubert

Ever see the 1950 movie DOA? Well, in case you haven't...
Imagine an ice cold open. There's a police station establishing shot. Cut to interior.
Long shadowy hallway. There's a guy named Bigelow clutching his gut and shuffling with more grit than balance. Barely making it down the long, cold and dark hall Bigelow arrives at a door with frosted glass that reads, "Homicide".
Inside the office Bigelow slumps into an uncomfortable looking metallic chair holding his gut and grimacing through beads of cold sweat. Opposite Bigelow sits a gruff looking homicide dick chewing on a cold dime store cigar. Seems Bigelow wants to report a murder.
His murder.
Turns out some rat-shit cold war spies had slipped him a radioactive mickey at a jazz joint in San Francisco the night before.
Spoiler Alert: It didn't end well for Bigelow. Not well at all. Come to think of it Bigelow wasn't too swift on the uptake himself.

Now, while I hadn't ingested an always fatal "luminous toxin" with no known antidote like Bigelow, I had, embarrassingly and inadvertently sold my soul to a demon named Hubert, exactly two lifetimes ago.
Now, until recently I was not aware of any of this, but due to the insane chain of events leading to an unplanned trip to New Orleans last month, after my wife Vera went psycho sideways, coincidentally coincided with a little known, Celtic holiday known as, "All Demons Day," circumstances beyond my control led me to a Voodoo priestess named, Madame Bouchemerde, and after just one very expensive consultation, the demon Hubert was out of the bag.
All Demons Day is the day when the clairvoyant can ask anything of a possessed soul's demon and must receive a truthful answer in response. The cost asked by hell? Only the blood of three chickens and the finger of a fickle man. Madame Bouchemerde had provided all of these and more.
The cost asked by Madame Bouchemerde? Only fifty thousand dollars payable in BTC and my finger. At first, I almost chickened out but I figured if the Yakuza could take it so could I. Plus, when I imagined the look on Hubert's demonic face as he realized he had lost me in the cosmic wind was worth a digit; easy-peasy-Japanesey. I went with the pinkie and we managed to get it in two tries.
All Demons Day turned my life upside down, inside out and round and round and I am, of course, speaking of Voodoo.
Seems further, I thought I could escape Hubert by being reincarnated in Brooklyn while he was on a three day bender in The Dominican Republic. What I didn't understand is Hubert has confederates and serpents and demonic entities everywhere relaying the information of non-being manifesting. Like I said, this lifetime, or any you pick, I'm not likely to be the fastest horse running in the Belmont Stakes.
Well, I rolled the dice in the Summer of Love as they called it and went for broke.
I hijacked a new soul.
It was a pure soul. A soul that was destined to be born to some heinously evil mother. They call this karma. Now, I, as recounted under trance by Madame Bouchemerde, being a former Satan worshipper in seventeenth century Salem, as well as a sadistic screw at Alcatraz, thought I could handle any hippy dippy evil teen mom in Brooklyn in 1967. So, I signed away my eternal soul once again. I was eager to break the curse and shake Hubert once and for all.
Quite simply, I was wrong. The maternal unit I had leased was defective beyond all description. We are talking homicidal maniac defective. By the age of six I had learned how to dodge knives, repo men, and molesters of all varieties. The rest of the family was loyal as Fredo and my heart broke. Until Madame Bouchemerde told me of Hubert and my eternal's soul torment I thought I was just unlucky at the genetic lottery.
So here we are now, six decades later and Hubert's apparently about to have his best and last laugh; again. Any day the safe falls from the sky. The train derails. The drunk driver comes at me going the wrong way head on. The psycho on the subway pushes me in front of the F train. I slip in the tub and go through the sliding glass door like a carving knife through a roasted piglet. How many previous lives have I suffered these snakes and bullets of outrageous fortune? Only the two Madame Bouchemerde could divine in her ball of crystal.

1. Romantic Me

Yes, I'm a fool for love. Right down to the eternal quest for my soulmate. I even thought I had found her a couple of times in my life, but, alas, I have the scars to prove I am only an idiot when it comes to selecting a love match. I also neglected to mention that not only am I slow but I am also stubborn. Hell, I was even born a Taurus.
Thus, due to my lack of alacrity and my abundance of pig headedness the quest for true love continued unabated. It continued because I used to believe love and marriage went together like a horse and carriage, 'til death, or the knacker, do us part and all that jazz. I also used to believe in Santa & The Easter Bunny.
Now? Now, I'm just fucked. Right?
Not because I did not find my wife but because I did.
And now, now my marriage, sanity and apparently, according to Humphrey, my very life itself are in jeopardy.
And things seemed like they were going so well until, until just, just a-
A short month ago...
Quiet Sunday in Brooklyn. Slate gray winter sky. My wife, Vera, in the kitchen area successfully making an angry racket. My head on fire from drinks the night before. Vera had been testing her latest concoction. She called it, "The Fuckface."
The Fuckface consisted of equal parts bourbon, scotch and beer. But it didn't stop there. There was a splash of ginger ale and a cohort of what Vera called, "floaters." Floaters turned out to just be seaweed Jell-O shots made from agar-agar which is a kind of Japanese seaweed sold in flakes, cranberry juice, lemonade and vodka. Vera, always did like naming shit. That, and getting tight.
[In 1940s vernacular, the phrase “getting tight” typically referred to someone becoming intoxicated or drunk. It was commonly used to describe the effects of alcohol consumption. So, if someone said, “I’m getting tight,” they were likely indicating that they were feeling the effects of alcohol. ]
I had met Vera on a dating app just as Covid was fading into our collective rearview mirror. Vera was sort of homely and kind of weird, but she seemed to really like me. I deduced this because on our first date, over coffee, she kept giggling for no apparent reason.
She also kept batting her very long eyelashes at me. I knew that move. It was supposed to make me roll over and show all four paws. Sadly, it had been a slow year in the soft shoulders department and I'll admit I thought about going with Vera's flow and showing her all four and more.
As our first date was ending in front of Starbucks with what was meant to be a respectful and gentlemanly peck on the cheek something odd happened. The respectful peck seemed to have gotten itself lost in translation because the next thing I knew Vera's tongue was in my mouth and it was getting up on its hind legs.
Vera, in broad daylight, on 4th Ave. in Park Slope began furiously French kissing me like a teenaged Macron kissing his first milf. I felt Vera's hand reach around the back of my thigh and make contact. Vera began to grope me a moment then stopped just as abruptly. I thought I had felt contact with my left glute.
"No! Must Not. Must not on first date," Vera said, but it sounded like she said it more to herself than I. Vera then did something else odd. She began to giggle. She giggled a bit then said it all over again.
"No! Not on the first date! That would be sooo bad!"
Then Vera giggled me an odd look that matched her demeanor perfectly. She kissed me again, but this time it was quick and of the parting variety. It was on the lips, though. Then Vera licked hers. They were covered with pink lipstick that had gotten smeared all over her face while we had been swapping spit.
"That's disturbingly delicious," Vera giggled.
"I'm giddy for you, Daddy. You can be my P. Diddy Giddy!" Vera giggled gleefully. I made a face like Patrice O'Neal passing the cookie aisle.
Vera did it again. She kissed me. Then giddy Vera broke the kiss, winked at me in what I guess was meant to pass for coquettish coyness. One of her false eyelashes seemed to malfunction. Vera seemed to notice. When she couldn't blink it away she soldiered on.
Then Vera giggled, "You just hit the jackpot, Tiger!"
Vera put both hands against my chest, pushed off me turning like an olympic swimmer. Her back to me Vera shot off like a blue bolt.
Unfortunately, Vera blue bolted right into crosstown traffic.
A car screeched. Another blew it's horn. I heard an F-bomb or six.
This cacophony was accentuated by the cloppity-clop-clop-Neigghhhhhh! of equine brakes jamming. Vera had run directly into the path of an oncoming police officer on horseback. The officer screamed, "What the fuck?!?!" as his horse rose high on its hind legs taking him up like a rodeo cowboy.
Vera, immediately realizing the gravitas of her situation, quick-stepped back to the curb, fast and frightened. She punctuated her quick-step with a healthy scream. Unfortunately, it seems Vera's right shoe had quick-stepped on to an extra-large, well used condom discarded in the gutter next to a Mountain Dew bottle.
The condom gave way, as condoms are sometimes wont to do, and Vera slipped. She flailed her arms. Sadly, it was a prelude to a fall. Vera, flailing arms continued as time stood still a hot moment before both she, and coincidentally the horse, returned to Earth. Woman and beast alike made hard landings in their respective places. The horse buckled, recovered, and then stood proudly upright; the horse somehow aware he had nailed it.
Sadly, Vera did not.
Vera's hard landing turned out to be the sidewalk curb. The curb, not being designed for the back of the human head, as say the pillow is, met Vera's with a harsh hello that translated into sound as, 'keerack'. Vera's left leg kicked out and made contact with a discarded Bud tallboy. The can clanked into the gutter, coming to a halt near the Mountain Dew bottle and condom. Beneath Vera's ginger head a pool of blood was beginning to form, found it was an overnight sensation and immediately began expansion operations all over the sidewalk and gutter.
The cop and I got all of Vera on the sidewalk. I put my coat under her head. The cop called an ambulance. While he made the call his horse whinnied. Vera opened her eyes. They seemed to roll up in her head, then come down a bit, the recede again. Vera grabbed my hand.
"If I die, you were the one, my soulmate," she said. Then her eyes rolled up and their lids came down like movie theater curtains. Some spittle and blood came out of the corner of Vera's mouth and nostrils and I noticed one of her false eyelashes hanging off at an odd angle.
Even more hellacious, Vera's lesson in how not to cross the street resulted in a subdural hematoma. The doctors all said Vera would have a long road back. On the bright side, the doctors had found a tumor, the size of testicle with elephantitis in her brain. The surgeons removed the tumor, relieved the hematoma and Vera lived to drink Starbucks another day.
Well, you know how it goes. Boy meets girl. One thing leads to another. Girl almost dies and boy ends up somehow married to her.
Boy then finds himself dwelling in a gruesomely overpriced, almost one bedroom on the wanna be outskirts of Park Slope; just a ghastly hole in the wall on the third floor of an ancient six-story walkup on a nondescript corner somewhere between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens and Boerum hill in a confused geographic area sometimes referred to as Bocapa; conveniently located within smelling distance of the Gowanus Canal.
Back to my lazy Sunday.
I stumble out of bed. I make it to Vera. As I get up on foot's ball to give Vera's cheek a peck I am stopped by an unknown and unpleasant smell which assails my nose. I double-check my sniffer. Sniffer's in working order but something's definitely off in the air supply mixture. Before my brain can decode the mysterious smell; something commandeers my attention.
It's a piteous sound. And it's coming from the oven.
A clue?
I turn towards the oven, squint, notice the oven light is on and it's really hot in the apartment.
I open it and spy a dying pig who spies me back none too happy.
Now, whether it's the apple in (his/hethey?)'s mouth or the 375 degree Fahrenheit temp in the oven, I could see why Porky might want to give me the malochi. Empathy not withstanding, I shut the oven door and heard myself murmur, "What Th-th-th-the fuck?!?!!" My Looney Tunes moment was interrupted by my wife of 3 months.
"Don't make any plans," Vera said. "I'm making dinner and I want to talk to you."
Sunday was my day to recharge from my toxic, high pressure job as a full stack software consultant for the city. I don't want to talk about my job. But if you're a working gentleman or lady perhaps you understand that some jobs are just like taking a stroll through Chernobyl sans hazmat tux. Suffice to say, I needed Sunday to get right with Jesus and detox.
Now, that particular Sunday seemed mostly ordinary. No holiday I was aware of. Vera & I weren't expecting guests. Yet Vera killed little Piggy. Roasted alive.
A pig that barely fit in the small oven of our tiny and overpriced dump. Our lofty sort of one bedroom that was ONLY $4924.32 a month. It was a real find because, according to the nice lady who showed it to us, it came with a new fridge. She never mentioned it also came with what sounded like crack fiend mice in the walls. Apparently, the only thing that could get them to take a hike was loud David Bowie music, in particular TVC-15.
They always came back to play, though. And the landlord always blew us off.
Yeah, our joint was small but at least there was a lock on the front door and running water. Vera and I finally had a place of our own. A place where we could get tight every night and fulfill our marital obligation to bliss.
The joint had two picture windows looking down on the intersection of Garfield Place and 3rd Avenue. We lived on the third floor and down on the street below was a bail bond joint, bounty hunter joint, pawn shop, thrift shop, bodega, beer distributor and fried chicken establishment. Starbucks had yet to arrive and there was still a store front church where hookers and crack dealers congregated in the wee hours.
The windows didn't open. It was probably a good thing because in the morning, especially in July, the smell from the Gowanus would give Mike Tyson's uppercut a run for his money. I really don't know or want to know what was in that canal or who was in that canal as long as it wasn't me.
Getting back to Sunday.
The pig squealed it's protestations.

Later That Sunday
My wife is at the kitchen counter and lo and behold there is a roasted pig on it. Vera is holding a rather large and new carving knife, which she is casually waving around for emphasis when not removing the flesh of the pig from it's roasted corpse.
I sat at the kitchen table and looked at Vera. Vera had whipped up another batch of Fuckfaces. I took a sip of mine from a jelly jar with The Jetsons on it Vera had picked up at The Salvation Army Thrift Store.
"Why pig?" I asked just to be filling the dead space.
Vera shot me an annoyed look. I knew it well. It was the appetizer.
"It's the other white meat, Hubert."
I shrugged and felt my sphincter clench.
"Now, Hubie," Vera went on. "I think we should spend more time rekindling our marriage. So, I was thinking the best way would be to sign up for ballroom dancing lessons."
Vera stopped carving the pig and waved the greasy knife with flecks of dead pig on it at me.
"Don't you like that idea, Hubie?"
Now, you might be reading this wondering what the fuck is wrong with me other than having the grave misfortune to have been twice cursed and once named by my shitty mother, "Hubert," and you'd be right. No argument from me. But what's really fucked is that...
Vera's been vegan for 22 years...
Vera carved a slice of the little pig. She put it on a place with a gray looking boiled potato and pushed it at me. Vera gulped her Fuckface from a paper coffee cup.
"I want to get into my feelings."
I looked at the pig. I had not eaten meat since 1996. I drank some more Fuckface.
Vera waved the knife.
"I want a baby."
I drank some more.
"We're in our late fifties, Vera. That's not such a good idea."
"I froze my eggs."
I drank.
Vera looked at the pig and suddenly stood.
"It's a craving, Hubert!"
Then Vera stabbed the pig on her plate. She held it to her mouth and tore at it. Pig juice ran down Vera's chin.
"You saved me, Hubert. Now you're responsible for me. I want a big baby who eats meat. A big meat eating baby, Hubie. Wouldn't that be nice?"
"Um. I need some time to think about it," I said.
What I was really was thinking this was the most fucked Sunday that ever got fucked on a Sunday.
Down on the street someone yelled, "FUCK YOU!" I thought, why should you be any different.
Vera waved the knife some more and came around the table. She put an arm around me and touched my chest. The other hand holding the greasy pig knife caressed my cheek.
"Tick tock. Tick tock. Hear that, Hubie?"
"Erm, not really," I answered.
"It's my baby ticker. I want a baby Hubie. We'll name it after you. Wouldn't another little Hubert running around the house be outstandingly delicious?"
I thought about my life. Child abuse. Comic Book Distribution industry going deep six in the 90s and taking old Hubie into Chapter 7 with it. Dotcom bubble. 9/11 ringside seat at 101 Barclay Street. Great recession. Covid. January 6.
"No!" I heard myself say.
"NO?!?!? You can't say, 'NO' to me," Vera snarled. The knife came against my throat.
"I want another Hubert or there might be no more Huberts to make Huberts, Hubert."
I decided to change tack as the edge of the carving knife caught a sliver of sun and disturbed my retina.
"Okay."
"Okay, let's make a baby?" Vera giggled like a psychotic pig killing carnivore.
"Yep."
"Oh, Hubie. I knew you'd see the light. It could be the messiah!" she gushed.
"Just let me up first glamor girl," I said.
"Oh! Of course, Hubie!"
I got out of my chair and to my feet. I turned to face Vera.
I put both hands on her shoulders and looked into her eyes. I realized the smell from before was coming from her. She smelled like she had pissed herself. I looked down and saw a puddle forming on the kitchen area floor.
"Vera? What the fuck?"
"Golden shower make Easter flowers," Vera giggled.
She began to move her hand with the knife. I took a breath, closed my eyes and kissed Vera's neck. I felt her begin to respond. In a minute she had forgotten about the knife. I began to pet Vera then let my hand take a walk up her front, down her shoulder. My fingers caressed her wrist and hand and gently relieved her of the knife.
I stepped back from Vera.
"I'm leaving. I don't want a baby. And I don't want to be anywhere near you. You're fucking insane, Vera."
Vera stepped back and grabbed the Fuckface pitcher. She took a huge slug of Fuckface then threw the glass pitcher at me. I sidestepped it and it crashed into the wall. It reminded me of the time my mother had thrown a butcher knife at me in the fifth grade because I wouldn't go to the deli to buy her a cup of coffee one morning before school. The knife had missed me by an inch and shattered a jar that held an avocado pit that was sprouting.
"Vera, calm down."
"Fuck you, you fucking wimp! I want a baby, now!"
Suddenly, Vera began to look funny. I looked at her. She seemed a little green in the gills.
"Vera? Did you cook the pig long enough?"
Vera looked at me. I heard her stomach gurgle. Suddenly she bent over and puked all over the floor. I saw a pig's knuckle in the mix.
As I was about to comfort Vera she spun around and snarled at me, pig puke all over her maw, "I want a fuckin' messiah," and she charged me.
I tried to sidestep Vera but my luck ran out. Vera got her arms around me and tried to kiss me with her pig vomit face.
"You were my soulmate," she said.
I felt warmth and wetness cover my hands. Vera had ran straight into the knife.
I gave her a towel frantically and called 911. The paramedics arrived in time to watch Vera nearly bleed out. They managed to save Vera somehow but this time I let her tough it out in the hospital alone. This time I thought it might be time to file for divorce. Time to break the lease and go somewhere nobody knows my name.
You think I was wrong not to visit Vera? You think I let her down? Vera and Humphrey really seem angry and I don't feel safe.
