I have been working in a relatively new company where I'm the only ML engineer for almost a year. I did my Bs in a non CS degree (Electronics and Communications Engineering) and did a PG program in Data Analytics which allowed me to make the jump to ML.
The lead AI/ML engineers left the company when I joined, making me the only ML engineer in the entire company. At that point I was fresh out of college and had done an internship in the same company before joining there as a SWE. Took me a lot of sleepless nights to learn the ropes of production code. Before they left they were working on a ML product. Most of my work revolves around bug fixes on that product and not much else. Mostly what I am doing now deals with using GenAI for chatbots (glorified prompt engineering IMO), developing some Time Series models and whatever random idea my manager has related to ML (deployed a Facial Recognition/Verification module on production server using docker purely based on his sudden whims since I had nothing else to do)
I am acutely aware that I'm nowhere near as good as someone with degree that is actually relevant to ML/CS. Therefore I want to learn as much as I can. One advantage that I have working here is I have a LOT of free time to do whatever I want. I can do some projects and probably even on company time if I manage to convince my CEO that it's a worthwhile pursuit for the company. I am even considering doing an OMSCS. I have huge ambitions. I want to invest a lot of time and energy into learning. But I don't know what to learn exactly. I don't really care about salary. I want to become extremely knowledgeable in a field. Maybe even an interdisciplinary field of Robotics and AI by doing a Master's in a couple years (might as well put that ECE degree to use).
At the end of the day I don't want to remain idle and become irrelevant.

Mannnnnnn. I just spent over three hours on the chat with several different people and all five of my families new iPhones do not work.
Long story short. Wanted to switch from T Mobile. Ordered the phones online through the Verizon chat and set up the unlimited plus plan for 5 lines. During the order they had me fill out a form with my SSN, name, etc; to make an account. Phones get ordered and we have to provide the transfer pin to have all 5 phone numbers ported over. All of it gets confirmed and completed.
Fast forward a couple of days and the phones are here. I pull them out and we start trying to set them up per Verizon’s guide. None of the eSIMs work. We all can back up our phones but when you try to transfer over it says the SIM is not supported. I’ve tried everything. I’ve even entered in the wrong pin? a few times in the SIM settings and am now being asked for a PUK code. Every chat agent gave me a different solution and none of them worked. I tried turning both the new and the old phones off for 5 minutes, didn’t supply me with a PUK code, told me my account was never created, wait until midnight and it will be fixed, give it a few more hours to “synchronize”. I don’t understand how in a retail store this can be done in an hour or so but I’m being told I need to wait hours or until midnight(which didn’t work).
The chat couldn’t even tell me why this happened. Does anyone have any insight? At this point I have 5 brand new iPhones that are paper weights.

With research I did and with the opinions of people on the previous post, I’ve made something running down how each game compares to ‘06:
‘07 had larger playbooks and the short passing game was better. The “Race for the Heisman” mode also got a minor upgrade with “Campus Legend”. The problem comes when you talk about the new “jump the snap” and “momentum system”. They were not well-balanced, and it led to many turnovers and fumbles.
‘08 and beyond had a coding error that caused the CPU’s pursuit angle to be terrible (I think that ‘09 improved it, but it was never quite the same). The infractions system was also super wack (more so in ‘09) because of the cost of disciplining players, so you had like 30 teams on probation a few years in. Even though they KINDA (not too much) fixed the issues jump the snap and momentum caused, it wasn’t enough to even make it better than ‘07.
‘06 is the most solid gameplay experience and has NCAA Next, and ‘07 has more gameplay/player career options with the trade-off of the two aforementioned systems. I guess if you really care about super sim, you could do ‘09 and just deal with the infraction problems the game has.
