What Should I Charge for Highlight Video?
So a buddy hit me up and wanted a highlight video and training video made for him to send to colleges.
For the highlight video, I went through his senior year footage (roughly 30 games) and cut about a 3-4 minute highlight tape for him. On top of that, I filmed one of his training sessions for about 2 hours and made him a 3-4 minute reel of that, plus a 5 minute unedited video of him shooting.
What is all that worth? He’s a good friend of mine so I want to help him out, but I don’t wanna get underpaid!

Tower of Fantasy is having a Survey rn, and at the end of it they allow you to send Feedback & Suggestions (which I feel like is the first time I've seen them ask this?!)
So here is what I sent in; maybe it will inspire other people to send similar Suggestions, so we can continue to make TOF better and better! :D

Buff Older Weapons (they should be like only 5--20% worse than the Newest at A0); maybe Buff Flame Weapons whenever a New Flame Character is Released, and Frost Weapons when a New Frost Character is Released & etc etc. I don't mind the Newest Character being the strongest of the Element, but they really shouldn't be THAT much stronger; it limits team possibilities and makes the meta so boring :/
2. Overhaul the UI, it's so confusing and outdated and clunky and hard to navigate
3. More Male Characters please!!!!!! Fu Li, Rong Jin, Wen Xi, Neo, Klema, Kanro, Archon Elric!
4. Add PVP Crew wars. n addition, it would be cool to see a System where Guilds can control 'Regions', like in New World and then can enact certain policies on the Territories they control like in other MMOs
5. Make the Story better--the 4.0 Story is really good so far but I want it to be Genshin / Star Rail level. Each part of Genshin’s story is like 3-4 Hours long, while TOF’s is much much shorter. It would be nice for TOF’s story to be longer and so it can have a greater level of depth and focus, like Genshin. I also hope Nan Yin comes back & the Greyspace are connected to the Omnium Plague somehow, because right now it feels like the Greyspace is SO disconnected to the Omnium Plague MetaNarrative; are the Greyspace Entities just Humans that were transformed by Omnium Radiation?
6. More Character Story Quests
7. More Gear + Matrix Resources. It is really hard to catch up to Veteran Players who have a huge amount of resources if you are a New Player.
8. Add a New Gear Piece: Converts a % of one Elemental Attack to another Elemental Attack (EXAMPLE: Converts 25% of Frost Attack & adds it to your Volt Attack or Convert 50% of Flame Attack into Frost Attack). This would great, since now you don't need to completely change your Gear when you run a New Team since as long as you have that Gear Piece (with good Substats of coursE), you will be good to go! And this will help allow New Team Compositions & Diversity, creating more Multi Element/Rainbow Teams and would be really fun and good for the Meta! :)
9. More Tank / Benediction Characters; & Buff Tank & Benediction Resonance!!!
10. Add More Game Modes + Better Rewards & More Focus on them. I love playing Break from Destiny & Apex League but they feel very outdated; they should updated. Break from Destiny should ALL the weapons---and should have a smaller map size so the game will be more combat focused and intense. And Apex League should give Players access to ALL Weapons, not just certain ‘Free’ Weapons. And there should be better rewards from them, more cosmetics and more DC. This will encourage people to play them more. I would also love a Simulated Universe in Tower of Fantasy (like they have in Star Rail!), a roguelike dungeon with fights, puzzles, lore and great rewards. Emphasis on the lore!
11. More Skins / Outfits from Bosses. I wish we could get actual full outfits from fighting World Bosses. Having an Accessory from the World Boss is nice, but an actual Outfit would be so much better and cooler and so much more Worth it! I love all the Outfit designs and I wanna see more!
12. Add More Apartments for Players, like the one in Mirroria. I LOVE our Apartment in Mirroria---and I wish we could get more super cool Apartments in Aesperia, Innars, Domain 9, etc. I wish you could also easily teleport to / from your apartment.
13. Maybe add Elemental Reactions, even if it's only through Certain New Characters via Resonances & Skills. Unlike Genshin, which has the same static Reactions, TOF can introduce Reactions via Characters which can allow for SO much more diversity and flexibility and variety. You can have 2 Different Frost Characters that both give a Reaction to Frost & Volt DMG, while working in very different ways and having very different teammates. It could actually end up being MUCH better than Genshin's Reaction System--in Genshin, there is only a Limited number of Reactions. But in TOF, there can be as many Reactions as there are Characters!

15. The Story Skip Feature should be better Optimized; I feel like people are always running into trouble, completely and accidentally skipping ahead of the story and they don't know how to backtrack / what they're doing

17. More Teleport Waypoints; getting around the 4.0 Map is hard
18. Better A3 Skins + More Gachapon Skins; would love for there to be Gachapon Skins for every Character (I want a Gachapon Skin for Fei Se & Yulan! )
19. In World of Warcraft, Players are part of 2 Different Opposing Factions and these Factions have large scale PVP Wars and Events in the Overworld. It would be SO Cool to have TOF have something like that; Maybe Players can join either Hykros or the Heirs of Aida (or the Greyspace or Zhen Gong or the Norns Federation) and can fight against one another in certain areas / during certain events / on certain Channels for the chance of Rewards. It could be explained as some sort of Hykros training exercise, if you need an explanation. It would really add a lot of Life to the game and bring people together :)
20. Joint Operations should be streamlined and the cutscenes should be removed; the Nan Yin Joint Operation is perfect and I wish all JO's were as simple and straightforward as that one. Also, it would be good to Equalize Joint Operations even more, so that Low Level Players can match up and easily play with Higher Level Players, while getting different Levels of Rewards.
21. The Aesperia + Artificial Island Map should be completely redone. As the first area of the game, it is VERY lacking, especially in comparison to the newest and most beautiful areas of Domain 9.
22. It would be cool to have more dynamic Weather Events; I feel like it never rains in TOF?
23. I wish Molinia was an Actual Playable Character. Also, I would love to see Yun from Zhen Gong become Playable, as well Payable Characters that are similar to Sparrowtail and Longxiang---they have such cool and beautiful designs!
24. I wish that the Aesperia Characters got New Designs, since they look so basic and simple compared to the newer characters. I don't mind the characters designs being sexy, as long as they are wearing something cool and beautiful and unique!
25. It would be awesome to have more Rainbow / Multi Elemental Resonance Effects, to encourage more Diverse & Varied Team possibilities
26. Add More Playable Characters----1 New Character Every 3 Weeks, like Genshin/Star Rail. Having only 1 New Character every Month is kinda slow. Having a New Character every 3 Weeks at least makes things more Exciting and keeps the excitement and interest in the game going on strong with all the New Characters :D

I just wanted to share my personal experience listening to all songs from Clancy. I don't know anyone else who is this much into TOP. This is gonna be a long read. Would love to hear from you all!
P.S. I am not trying to hate on any songs. Also, this is NOT a rating.

1. Overcompensate - I was absolutely HYPED when the trailer came out with the movie-like intro. The beat switch was such a pleasant surprise. I LOVE Josh's drums as well as Tyler's sick flow EARNED MY STRAPS THREE HUNDRED TRACKS! Got me hyped for the album.
2. Next Semester - I had such a love-hate relationship with this song. It came out while I was dying with stress finishing up my dissertation, so the lyrics felt too close for comfort. But I slowly got over the denial and got addicted to it! It is currently my most streamed song in 2024.
3. Backslide - Anyone else feel like some songs come out exactly when you need them? This is what Backslide was for me. Also Paul Meany revealing that the outro is a chopped piano was such a mindboggler!
4. The Craving (single version) - I love this song so much! And the music video completely elevated the feelings that this song brings. It has given me a new appreciation for their songs as well as art in general, how so much effort and thought is put into each tiny bit.
5. Midwest Indigo - ALBUM RELEASE DAY! I remember walking back home from the library at 3 AM, putting on Midwest Indigo, and smiling so hard at the "Chill out man" part haha! The outro kinda throws me off making me feel like the song drags a bit.
6. Routine In The Night - Extremely catchy pre-chorus and chorus, I catch myself moving to it every so often!
7. Vignette - CLINGING TOOOOOO..... PROMISESSSSS....... Also, someone pointed out how Tyler can be seen trying to control his laugh during the final "It's for a friend" section, makes me laugh every time!
8. The Craving (Jenna's version) - Similar to the single version, I love this so much! Although the lyrics are the same, the bare instrumental and Tyler's "raw" vocals arouse a completely different set of feelings within me. It's so cute! I think I would appreciate this song even more if I wasn't single lol
9. Lavish - Chill song, although I will admit I do not like this one as much as I do the others. The music video is one of my faves though!
10. Navigating - Okay I know how much everybody in the fanbase loves this song, but this one's not for me :/
11. Snap Back - Another song I had a love-hate relationship with. After the last couple of songs, I went into this one negatively on the first listen and did not particularly like it. But it has grown so much on me, that I cannot stop listening to it now! The "Elasticity" part with Tyler's "Wooooo" in the background, is one of my favourite moments on the album. Also, Tyler doing his dancey-dance in the MV in the end!
12. Oldies Station - I CANNOT tell you how deeply I feel for this song. Every line cuts deep. When the synth lead hits leading into "You don't quite mind....", I get chills every time. Easily one of my favourite TOP songs of all time.
13. ATROFD - I love how the melody gives off a silly vibe and it complements the lyrical content perfectly! I also remember seeing a clip of someone catching the boys during the MV recording, with Josh and his drums on the top and Tyler hanging about under lol
14. Paladin Strait - Love the epic buildup and consequent delivery (in contrast to Leave the City, which is such a cliffhanger instrumental-wise). However, this song feels incomplete without the MV. I think the MV will answer a lot of our questions, including the minute-long break. On the edge of my seat, can't wait for the MV to release!

Special mention - I feel like Josh kills it with the drums across the whole album. The drums stand out on every single song!

I'm in love with Cassis Oolong. Unfortunately, when I try to read more about it, aside from knowing how to make this really simple, yet classic, drink, literally nothing comes up. Two things do standout, however:

1. Oolong Tea is not traditionally Japanese as black teas are not as common in Japan as green teas
   
2. VERY few people outside of Japan (I live in the U.S.) know about cassis oolong even though I think the flavors are pretty palatable to people familiar with tea-flavored drinks (e.g., southern sweet tea, etc.)
   

Moreover, I heard somewhere that this drink is popular among the yakuza. i also heard that japanese men think cassis oolong is a woman's drink as masculine norms gravitate towards less sweet drinks. But these don't seem to make sense - wouldn't the yakuza want to appear strong and masculine? then why would they like cassis oolong?
I also don't speak or read Japanese so maybe that is why I am limited in my knowledge / search capabilities for this drink
but if anyone here has any interesting facts or articles or comments about this drink's history - how it came to Japan, why did it become popular, who mainly drinks this, and why Americans don't seem to know much about it (or the French given that cassis is from France) ... all of this would be so helpful

My best friend just came back from studying abroad and has changed so much i would say she had an insane glow up and im obviously very happy for her that she has gained confidence and seems more comfortable in her own skin now but i feel like shes becoming a pick me and i honestly can’t recognize her. 1. Carlin and Evan pretended they were on vacation alone again this year but really they were with their new favorites. Sorry PopPop and Ninni, you’ve been replaced by the new Cult Church Pastor and his family. Proving that they are serious about this influencer grift, the Stew Crew met up with 4 other Trad wife Family Vloggers and Carlin showed that she can be like all the TikTok girlies and eat crab legs, too! She swung by a Chick-fil-a on the way home to wash the taste out of her mouth. It was a week of the standard beach pics, kids in bikinis and speedos while the adults wore modest swimsuits, ice cream, family fit checks and Evan invading all of Mexico Beach’s privacy with his drone. In a clear case of one up man ship, Carlin forced her entire family to wake up at 3:40am, dress up and go to the beach for a sunrise photo shoot. Pure torture and proof that this was not a vacation, but a work trip. These poor babies never get a break. Once they made it home it was business as usual with Layla in a crop top selling bracelets. Evan popped in with a 2 second proof of life of the dog. Izzy probably enjoyed a week without a camera and hearing “are you excited? Isn’t that exciting? Say it again… look over here”…sigh…
   
2. Katie was obviously miserable all week at the Jersey Shore with travis’ family bc she was relatively quiet and there was no new vlog from the Clark family this week. She pushed a few links, made a reel featuring her baby doing things all babies do and called her the sweetest one year old EVER. Of course we know how important being SWEET is in this crowd. She also bought some glass beads down the shore and used those to show us all what color eyes they have… because that’s riveting content also. By the way… Travis Clark? Not on tour.
   
3. The Bates Family beauty queen Josie Balka spent the majority of the week in her bathroom filming hair and makeup tutorials. She used creative wording to make people believe she isn’t wearing extensions, but she can’t hide the fact that the pool noodle isn’t holding her curl all day. Someone took to the comments to rat out the fact that come July, Mrs Balka will no longer be available for wedding makeup. Josie continues to push her workout content and this week did CrossFit with her pool noodle in and her 3 kids roaming around a garage. Josie ditched the Memorial Day cookout at the big house to hang out with the Balkas. Kelton is turning up the heat on his chef career and made Tuscan salmon and roasted chickens this week. His cooking videos feature overhead shots and close ups… Zach could never. Josie pushed links while showcasing the girls in their new crocs. She is also selling a hair supplement that works out to cost $2.30 per pill. They wrapped up the week at Kelton’s flag football game. Josie agreed to attend and feature it on her IG without the pool noodle in her hair.
   
4. Summer is happening full throttle at the Webster’s down in Florida…& that means… coffee, cleaning out the school room and working out in the gym. The excitement can hardly be contained. Alyssa finally scored a partnership this week… it’s for a Wallie phone case and hopefully she sold enough to afford the next trip to Costco. Maci was Alyssa’s target this week and she was forced several times to sing a song while her mom filmed her and said “LOUDER, LOUDER”… Maci looked terrified and managed to whimper out the ABC’s and that old cult classic “The Lord’s Army”. Alyssa is back to filtering her children’s faces off and poor baby Rhett looks like his is melting off while she runs behind him screaming “isn’t he the funniest? Isn’t he the cutest? I can’t stand it!!” Yea… neither can we. Proving that she isn’t estranged from her entire family, Jackson came over and Alyssa pretended that he was begging her to cut his hair. She told us how she grew up poor and was forced to give haircuts even though she hated it and wasn’t very good at it. Jackson played along to give his sister some content. In return he sharpened her knives bc that’s yet another thing her goofy husband cannot do. John doesn’t have time anyway bc he is running away to a softball game. Alone. Again. In a last ditch attempt to bring Alyssa back into the fold, Kelly instructed everyone to go comment on her reel featuring Rhett…Carlin, Lydia, Whit and Ellie followed orders. Later Alyssa decided to put all of the children’s books on the very highest shelf where the only way to reach them is with a step ladder. Lurch watched. She also had to have Allie tell her where Lexie was because apparently she had no clue. She showed the depressing, colorless school room filled with CD’s and by 8pm filmed herself with dead eyes saying she needed her kids to go to bed. The unhappiness is just oozing out.
   
5. Whitney and Zach spent the week at Folly and in Charleston. They ate at Loggerheads Bar and TBonz Grill &Chill and I really feel like Zach may have had a beer and Whitney sipped a White Claw. Whitney wore her bikini and crop tops and Zach went shirtless and wore shorts and they are dangerously close to seeming normal. They insisted on using some Instagram crap sunscreen and poor Kacie got a bad sunburn. They played around with the TikTok trend of jumping from one place to another and heavily featured all of their kids all week in bathing suits. Over in the Bates Kitchen this week Zach made the exotic dish known as Stuffed Mushrooms. He explained how he grew up eating a severely limited menu and on his honeymoon in Hawaii they ate Subway and KFC. He held his dish up for the camera this week and used a clear bowl but that’s as good as it’s gonna get bc apparently his camera just cannot move. The recipe featured 6 different chunks of cheese and some dried Great Value seasonings and Zach told us he is taking knife lessons because he doesn’t have a clue what he is doing. Yet he still believes he is good enough to have a cooking channel.
   
6. In his continuing trend of telling too much and showing too much Trace Bates filmed a Memorial Day cookout at the Big House and showed all the nooks and crannies and mercy that place is a hot mess. Crap is piled in every corner, on every shelf, that huge old sectional is spotted and stained and has grease spots from heads and all the kitchen cabinets are just left wide open. Kelly Joe is piled up on the couch and there seems to be an old sheet hanging in a window. Whew! Lydia’s family joined in for the cookout and they are just obsessed with pickle ball. They spent the week at the beach with the Romeike’s and Ryker was miserable on the flight and just about cut their tail. Lydia had PTSD thinking about the flight home. Lydia and Trace later dress Ryker like Larry from 3’s Company in a baby leisure suit. He would have fit right in down at the Regal Beagle. Their beach photo trip featured Trace in his jeans rolled up like capris. When they got back home they tried to sell us a camera that fits up your nose and in your ear… watching Trace Bates dig around in his ear is just a bridge too far for me. Big news… Lydia gets to go on a girls trip soon… and she gets to take the baby with her. That is the exact opposite of a girls trip, but what’s she supposed to do… leave the kid with Trace??
   
7. Michael and Brandon are back to arts and crafts this week. Brandon checked out JebJud from the big house so he would have an excuse to color and forced him to film trying to draw a badger. What they drew did not, in fact, look anything like a badger… it was a grey and black blob. Brandon said this is strictly because badgers don’t live in Tennessee. Well Brandon, neither do whales and you drew those several times.
   
8. Erin Bates is slowly slipping back onto social media but because Chad said she had to be purposeful she is steadily cramming weird old yard axe preachers down her viewers throats. We first heard a very pointed message from some old dude who believes mothers would grab trinkets and leave their children behind in a house fire. Later she shared a reel featuring her dad preaching, but she was just warming up. She decided to sit down ole Gil and have him give his testimony on her YouTube. Testimony is apparently fundie for “lie and rewrite history” bc Gil said when he was 15 he skipped school to go drink beer with his buddies but just before taking a sip of the devil’s elixir he stumbled upon a Bible and spent the rest of the day looking up Bible words in the dictionary while those other boys drank Budweiser and looked at girlie magazines. Testimony also is fundie for “fairy tale”. Shut up Gil. Later Erin attended Bible Baptist and showed us little Carson fervently taking notes. 9. Tiffy Bates is 33 weeks pregnant and went as Lawson’s date to the Hermitage for an AHA fundraiser. This former actress is now just Mrs. Lawson Bates as he took top billing. Their vlogs were both old and recycled and one featured footage from last year’s Medicorp trip to Turkey where they let them package trail mix to stay out of the way of the real work being done there. If you ever wonder who the people are that buy BSB dresses… they are the same ones who have sent Lawson&Tiffy TONS OF BABY GIFTS. Sickening to see when there are SO many mothers who struggle and need help. Lawson said growing up his dad kept the cars with no gas in them and then whichever kid got in to drive would have to use their money to pay for gas. Man Gil is a real piece of work! Lawson made Tiffy do a fit check and called her Pookie. Why do they refer to each other as “boys” and “girls” and why are they constantly talking to the camera asking their viewers asinine questions about things that won’t matter by the time they get the answers?? Tiffy is also selling that weird ear camera and I don’t want to see her earwax either. Lawson and Evan decided to sing a little R. Kelly in the vlog for fun….& they ended the week with Lawson saying he was going to get fat because Tiffy cooked a roast beef dinner.

Josie ditched the Memorial Day cookout at the big house to hang out with the Balkas. Kelton is turning up the heat on his chef career and made Tuscan salmon and roasted chickens this week. His cooking videos feature overhead shots and close ups… Zach could never. Josie pushed links while showcasing the girls in their new crocs. She is also selling a hair supplement that works out to cost $2.30 per pill. They wrapped up the week at Kelton’s flag football game. Josie agreed to attend and feature it on her IG without the pool noodle in her hair.
   
4. Summer is happening full throttle at the Webster’s down in Florida…& that means… coffee, cleaning out the school room and working out in the garage . The excitement can hardly be contained. Alyssa finally scored a partnership this week… it’s for a Wallie phone case and hopefully she sold enough to afford the next trip to Costco. Maci was Alyssa’s target this week and she was forced several times to sing a song while her mom filmed her and said “LOUDER, LOUDER”… Maci looked terrified and managed to whimper out the ABC’s and that old cult classic “The Lord’s Army”. Alyssa is back to filtering her children’s faces off and poor baby Rhett looks like his is melting off while she runs behind him screaming “isn’t he the funniest? Isn’t he the cutest? I can’t stand it!!” Yea… neither can we. Proving that she isn’t estranged from her entire family, Jackson came over and Alyssa pretended that he was begging her to cut his hair. She told us how she grew up poor and was forced to give haircuts even though she hated it and wasn’t very good at it. Jackson played along to give his sister some content. In return he sharpened her knives bc that’s yet another thing her goofy husband cannot do. John doesn’t have time anyway bc he is running away to a softball game. Alone. Again. In a last ditch attempt to bring Alyssa back into the fold, Kelly instructed everyone to go comment on her reel featuring Rhett…Carlin, Lydia, Whit and Ellie followed orders. Later Alyssa decided to put all of the children’s books on the very highest shelf where the only way to reach them is with a step ladder. Lurch watched. She also had to have Allie tell her where Lexie was because apparently she had no clue. She showed the depressing, colorless school room filled with CD’s and by 8pm filmed herself with dead eyes saying she needed her kids to go to bed. The unhappiness is just oozing out.
   
5. Whitney and Zach spent the week at Folly and in Charleston. They ate at Loggerheads Bar and TBonz Grill &Chill and I really feel like Zach may have had a beer and Whitney sipped a White Claw. Whitney wore her bikini and crop tops and Zach went shirtless and wore shorts and they are dangerously close to seeming normal. They insisted on using some Instagram crap sunscreen and poor Kacie got a bad sunburn. They played around with the TikTok trend of jumping from one place to another and heavily featured all of their kids all week in bathing suits. Over in the Bates Kitchen this week Zach made the exotic dish known as Stuffed Mushrooms. He explained how he grew up eating a severely limited menu and on his honeymoon in Hawaii they ate Subway and KFC. He held his dish up for the camera this week and used a clear bowl but that’s as good as it’s gonna get bc apparently his camera just cannot move. The recipe featured 6 different chunks of cheese and some dried Great Value seasonings and Zach told us he is taking knife lessons because he doesn’t have a clue what he is doing. Yet he still believes he is good enough to have a cooking channel.
   
6. In his continuing trend of telling too much and showing too much Trace Bates filmed a Memorial Day cookout at the Big House and showed all the nooks and crannies and mercy that place is a hot mess. Crap is piled in every corner, on every shelf, that huge old sectional is spotted and stained and has grease spots from heads and all the kitchen cabinets are just left wide open. Kelly Joe is piled up on the couch and there seems to be an old sheet hanging in a window. Whew! Lydia’s family joined in for the cookout and they are just obsessed with pickle ball. They spent the week at the beach with the Romeike’s and Ryker was miserable on the flight and just about cut their tail. Lydia had PTSD thinking about the flight home. Lydia and Trace later dress Ryker like Larry from 3’s Company in a baby leisure suit. He would have fit right in down at the Regal Beagle. Their beach photo shoot featured Trace in his jeans rolled up like capris. When they got back home they tried to sell us a camera that fits up your nose and in your ear… watching Trace Bates dig around in his ear is just a bridge too far for me. Big news… Lydia gets to go on a girls trip soon… and she gets to take the baby with her. That is the exact opposite of a girls trip, but what’s she supposed to do… leave the kid with Trace??
   
7. Michael and Brandon are back to arts and crafts this week. Brandon checked out JebJud from the big house so he would have an excuse to color and forced him to film trying to draw a badger. What they drew did not, in fact, look anything like a badger… it was a grey and black blob. Brandon said this is strictly because badgers don’t live in Tennessee. Well Brandon, neither do whales and you drew those several times.
   
8. Erin Bates is slowly slipping back onto social media but because Chad said she had to be purposeful she is steadily cramming weird old yard axe preachers down her viewers throats. We first heard a very pointed message from some old dude who believes mothers would grab trinkets and leave their children behind in a house fire. Later she shared a reel featuring her dad preaching, but she was just warming up. She decided to sit down ole Gil and have him give his testimony on her YouTube. Testimony is apparently fundie for “lie and rewrite history” bc Gil said when he was 15 he skipped school to go drink beer with his buddies but just before taking a sip of the devil’s elixir he stumbled upon a Bible and spent the rest of the day looking up Bible words in the dictionary while those other boys drank Budweiser and looked at girlie magazines. Testimony also is fundie for “fairy tale”. Shut up Gil. Later Erin attended Bible Baptist and showed us little Carson fervently taking notes. She is pushing her cardboard cards in a special Father’s Day box that includes an amazing free gift… a Bic Pen!!! Hurry and order now. She told us she and Tori are living their dream and wrapped up the week with a Rocky Top Recap that quietly left out Carlin. Such a Christian thing to do…
   
9. Tiffy Bates is 33 weeks pregnant and went as Lawson’s date to the Hermitage for an AHA fundraiser. This former actress is now just Mrs. Lawson Bates as he took top billing. Their vlogs were both old and recycled and one featured footage from last year’s Medicorp trip to Turkey where they let them package trail mix to stay out of the way of the real work being done there. If you ever wonder who the people are that buy BSB dresses… they are the same ones who have sent Lawson&Tiffy TONS OF BABY GIFTS. Sickening to see when there are SO many mothers who struggle and need help. Lawson said growing up his dad kept the cars with no gas in them and then whichever kid got in to drive would have to use their money to pay for gas. Man Gil is a real piece of work! Lawson made Tiffy do a fit check and called her Pookie. Why do they refer to each other as “boys” and “girls” and why are they constantly talking to the camera asking their viewers asinine questions about things that won’t matter by the time they get the answers?? Tiffy is also selling that weird ear camera and I don’t want to see her earwax either. Lawson and Evan decided to sing a little R. Kelly in the vlog for fun….& they ended the week with Lawson saying he was going to get fat because Tiffy cooked a roast beef dinner.
   
10. Bits and Bytes… Kelly shared Ellie’s reel from the farm… Kelly announced that Warden and his sidekick Dylan have a new business striping things. Like putting down stripes… for game courts I guess? Didn’t know that was an in demand thing… Josie’s girls are still in gymnastics…could the current string of Bates boys be the Lord’s way of saying “stop exploiting your daughters”??

I used to watch a Spanish youtuber of GTA and Red Dead Redemption II mysteries, he had thousands of subscribers and his exactly name was "SYNCOPE".
Around 2021 he deleted his youtube channel and all google videos and images of him.
He published quite a few videos, probably more than 200, all of his videos exceeded at least 2,000 views.
I searched for his channel on waybackmachine but no go either.
He had a Twitter account with the same name, but deleted it as well.
I think he also played Subnautica, and another green alien video game, but of those videos I never saw any of them.
His channel was created between 2016 and 2017, coinciding with the release of Gta Online's Doomsday Heist, his channel logo was an S with half of a hexagon silhouette above and half below.
Some of the titles of his videos were “LA TEORÍA URANUS”, “El misterio del número 77”, “El mural del juicio final, parte 1 y 2”, “Thelema”, "El extraño código de los laboratorios Humane", among others.
I find it strange that a creator with so much content, that even images of his videos appeared in Google overnight, disappeared everything related to him.

This feels strange to write out and let other people speak on but I need other perspectives or stories of how this worked for other people and that’s what Reddit is for so here it goes.
I have dated men my whole life and identified as straight up until about 3.5 years ago. I have had turbulent relationships with men and decided I didn’t care if man or woman, I just wanted peace and companionship. Well, I found it. With an amazing woman. So sweet and literally the best person. Honestly, the best friend I have.
In the beginning, things were sexual. I’d say for almost a year. Then it completely stopped. It sort of fell into a lull and then never picked back up. It just fell off. I have no interest in trying to fix it either. Which I am aware is horrible but I’m just not feeling it and can’t force it.
So, I haven’t had sex of any kind in 2.5 years and I haven’t had sex with a man in 4 years. And idk how to explain this without sounding awful but I want to have sex with a man so bad and it’s driving me crazy.
I’d hate to lose the friendship and companionship I have with my girlfriend. Every other box is checked. She is my best friend. We laugh all the time.
I really don’t know what to do. If we could have an open relationship or something it might be ok but she is not open to that at all. I don’t know what the solution is. I’m torn. But I really don’t think I can not have sex ever again.

Hi. I’m posting here mainly because I cannot differentiate between what is salvageable and what is not. I’ve, 27 y/o f been with my husband 31 y/o m for 10 years.
We met on tumblr. I felt like it was a romantic love story about how he messaged me and it took off from there. I was 16 and leaving a highly traumatic household where I was the caretaker, oldest child and forced to be strong. I’m used to being strong and often don’t know my limits. This could be because of how young and traumatized I was/am, my too trusting nature, or my neurodivergencies. I really struggle to recognize when I am being abused. I didn’t realize that us meeting on tumblr was a regular occurrence for him. I was led to believe that it was our love story.
6 months in: His sexting starts. He creates fake profiles of other men online to sext women. He shares nudes, tells them how they make him feel good and all of things I would love to hear. — I don’t know yet.
We move in together and around the 3rd year, I find the messages from 6 months all the way up until the 3rd year. He bounced around on apps like tinder and grinder. He never made sense of it for me, wouldn’t let me talk about it and was generally very dismissive. But, we stayed together.
Year 5: I catch him again. He’s doing it, but this time he is on all apps. Local and on Kik messaging other men and women. He has accounts of fake men and women. Sexting. Sharing pictures. Talking to each other. Covid happens though, and so we stayed together but that’s when he started with the Venmo payments. A few at 25, 50, 60 dollars. But then, a charge that is $120 at 1am that he can’t seem to explain. He says it’s for a few photos and videos, but isn’t that too much? He was laid off during this time, and spending money that we needed for a move. It was incredibly hurtful.
He always took his phone away so fast that I could never actually screenshot or get closure on his messages. He never came to me and told me that this was a struggle, but now he says that he can’t stop scratching his leg or pacing until he gets it.
At the same time though, I was begging for intimacy. He was having sex with me about once a month- no foreplay as he did not believe in it. He said it had to be quick and a few times he literally did say easy. Our sex with uninspiring, quick, and lacking. He always said he would do more though, and that if I didn’t ask for so much, then he wouldn’t be so driven to apps. He never liked any new positions, me asking for sex and even prepared himself by talking to other women while on vacation to fuel him for sex with me.
2 months later, he cuts off from all apps and proposes to me a day later. But, then he starts back on apps after a few days. He said that he felt like he did a good thing. It made it seem like it was an exchange but he clarified that that was not the case.
He continues with apps, expanding into Grindr, Google Voice, Hinge, every dating app out there just to sext and exchange photos to get that high. He is online too- sexting as someone else and sometimes having phone calls as himself. I didn’t know until 2 weeks ago. Now, he is banned from nearly every dating app in existence using his phone number because of his behavior online. He even took it offline to email etc to avoid getting removed from some apps.
Flash forward to 2022- we get married. I still don’t know everything. But he has upped things and violated a boundary that I drew in the sand. He gets an Only Fans and follows a woman in our area from Hinge. He starts paying her through some Girlfriend Experience which I really don’t understand. He said it was minor chats but there are charges of $68, $48, $28 randomly. Some are one right after the other. He continues this, adding new women. He does this one day before our wedding and again three days after. I am in shock about this part. I cannot believe or fathom it. He said he needed it because he was so insecure. But why didn’t he turn to me? I could have shown him the way that I saw him. Instead he turned to online again.
He says that the profile wasn’t in his name on OF. Or for most of these platforms, but he’s using his card, a few of his photos (it looks like but I can’t tell based on his email) and his phone number. I’m worried I know someone he has talked to. Maybe the reality is that that’s already happened.
Anyways, we go on a trip. I have a panic attack because his phone goes off. He reassures me that it’s email. Then, he goes to the bathroom for 50 minutes. I continue my panic attack, but calm myself into trusting him. He comes out and says he doesn’t have the energy. I’m in lingerie - then I started crying. He reassures me, as I’m crying saying that he knows our worth and would not risk it. He made me feel good. Ok. Safe.
My health declines. I start throwing up every day 4-5 times. I couldn’t help it. I left the country early 2023, thinking that I could trust him. He continued with OF AND apps. I didn’t check his location. I didn’t check our home cameras. He could have done anything while I was gone. I have no idea.
He blocks and deletes numbers. Has over hundreds of blocked numbers. Local too. I called one of them and he said “come downstairs, come downstairs, come down”. He has no explanation for this.
Then, I come back and we watch Larsa on RHoM who is an Only Fans influencer. I said that that would be a dealbreaker for me, he stopped shortly after I came home from that trip. All in all, he spent another $500 while I was unemployed, sick and trying to find myself. We agreed that $150 was the limit that we notified each other at. But no. Not for him.
I caught him again with apps a few weeks ago. There were some funny text messages. He stopped introducing me to his coworkers and I was no longer invited to meet with his friends, but he also stopped meeting with them as much.
I saw everything this time. All of the messages from way back until now and it seems like he never stopped. It feels like he didn’t protect me. I could have been there for him, to support. I was so open and kind and caring. I was gentle with him because I wanted to show him what he deserved. It seems like it just made me easier to take advantage of. He never came to me with honesty or shared when I asked about how he was doing with keeping away from apps etc. he kept it deep, bottled and hidden. These are messages that he would send while we were on the couch together, he would go to the bathroom, be working in the same room, everything. I was there and he did it anyways. I don’t understand how I will be able to tell a difference between when he is doing it and not.
In addition to this- he blame shifts a lot and has plenty of covert narcissistic tendencies. He gives and takes so quickly. He doesn’t let me walk away from arguments often, and will keep us there without food. I would often, after 1 hr in and no break start yelling because he would blame shift and explain my feelings to me like they had to be logical. If my feelings were logical, then he would create bigger feelings within himself. So I would pivot to his feelings.
I’m really confused and wondering if this is something that I can work through or if I am truly delusional? I met him when I was so young, I feel groomed. I feel taken advantage of and used for him to get out of his prior household, have someone there to just be there, and still have his messaging on the side.
We dreamed up a life together that I held so tight onto but he made promises he did not intend to keep. It seems like this is a sexting addiction that he never came clean on.
I’m also worried about the impact that this will have on me mentally. I already have anxious tendencies and I’m really scared that this has shattered me for future relationships. I don’t know how I could ever trust again what someone is doing with their personal device. What if I become someone who stalks their partner? I don’t want to be that person. Do I get a choice? Has he doomed me?
My husband is Latino and grew up in a traumatic household, with abuse from his mother. He didn’t have a father figure and only ever saw men treating women poorly in his life. I’ve given a lot of grace for this reason, and thought that I could somehow show him how to love me. Like we could create our own love story different from our traumatic past.
I grew up with a narcissist father (who was physically and mentally abusive) and a mother who cannot let her child feel her feelings. Both incredibly unavailable, and as I grew to become more upset with them both- they distracted me. My husband knew that. He weaponized that and bought me gifts, experiences and a marriage it seems to continue his charade.
I really need to feel empowered at this point in my life and it feels like he just pushes me down.

the heavy rains might prevent the mass growth of green algae in Lake Sevan this year: VIDEO

Experts are optimistic this year after the reported rise of water levels in Sevan. The additional water is expected to reduce the average temperature of the water, which could reduce the growth of algae.
The lake is still full of phosphorus and other pollutants that feed algae. The #1 culprit is wastewater coming from nearby communities, said an expert. That's over 100 tons of additional phosphorus per year.
When it comes to solutions against phosphorus, one expert is against using chemicals that react with phosphorus causing it to sink to the bottom of the lake; that could cause other issues at the bottom layer. They are also against banning the use of chemicals in household products. The best option is constructing a cleaning station to filter the water that pours into the lake.

la grande finale - the final battle begins

The former regime and its allies will launch a new, final, and decisive wave of nonstop acts of disobedience starting tomorrow, for the duration of 4 days, to oust PM Pashinyan and his team.
That was the message by protest co-leader Bagrat Galstanyan to his followers during the massive rally on June 9. He urged participants not to go to work or school, not to rest or sleep.
Galstanyan said he is sacrificing everything he has and that he hopes others will do the same. "It's now or never," he said.
Galstanyan urged parliament MPs to hold a session to demand Pashinyan's resignation. It might overlap with a regular parliamentary session where the MPs are supposed to discuss bills, so it's unclear how it'll work.
Galstanyan said there could be "other political solutions" if Pashinyan doesn't resign. When asked to clarify what he means by that, he said snap elections are an option. Azatutyun reporter noted that Galstanyan was against snap elections in the past.
When asked to comment on the constitutional incompatibility between his candidacy as PM and his dual Canadian citizenship, Galstanyan said they will find a solution "along the way".
Galstanyan urged to abandon the anti-Russian policies and "become a predictable and reliable partner" to "restore" relations with Russia while gaining new allies and friends.
ARAM SARGSYAN (Ex-PM): Restoring friendly relations with Russia requires abandoning the Euro-integration path, handing over the control of communications to Russia, removing EU's border observer mission and replacing them with CSTO which doesn't even recognize Armenia's borders, the end of army reforms and French weapons. "Restoring" relations with Russia means being in their pocket. //
The protest leaders insist the protest is not dying down. On May 9 they claimed there were approximately 120,000 people in the Republic Square, so presumably approximately as many people must have attended on June 9. (I cannot independently verify this.)
The meeting was scheduled for 6:30 pm but began around 7:10 pm. An NGO counted around 15,400 people as of 7:10 pm. That is not the peak number but the same organization has counted the participants with a similar methodology/timing in the past, so here is the trend:

Galstanyan then led his followers to the area near government buildings but was blocked by a police wall. Things got heated and jabs were exchanged between Galstanyan and the police commander.
They decided to split the crowd. The one led by ARF MP Garnik Danielyan remained near the parliament while Galstanyan took the rest to Proshyan to enter Demirchyan from there. His path to Demirchyan was blocked from Proshyan, too. There was a mini-kerfuffle. The protesters accused the police of protecting "Turks". Galstanyan said he will camp there.
Relatively few people remained with Galstanyan after midnight. He told his followers "we have nowhere to retreat" and said that their numbers would "increase in the morning".
Pashinyan's Deputy Chief of Staff Chakhoyan mocked Galstanyan, naming his movement as "Քոքամաշ 2024" and suggesting that the number of followers has halved since May 9. "Thank you for reaffirming the legitimacy of the government," said Chakhoyan.

ex-PM Aram Sargsyan criticizes the Church leadership for "double standards"

PETROS: Why did the Church get involved in these political processes?
SARGSYAN: The Church used to be the beneficiary of the former regime and felt like being part of the elites. After 2018, when democracy took over, the Church had to return to providing religious services to the population, which was not enough for them.
PETROS: It must have been difficult for them to lose the status of the elite. They developed friendships and "resolved problems" with the help of former administrations. The Church was basically a ministry in the government. They could make phone calls to resolve issues, they were standing next to state leaders during state ceremonies, they could influence the education policy in Armenia, they could resolve business issues, etc.
After 2018 they could only serve as an intermediary between the man and God, a big downgrade. They have decided to "fix" that. This is why the Church ignored the election fraud under former administrations. Do you remember this?
SARGSYAN: Of course. From 2003 to 12 April 2004, and on 1 March 2008, the Church did not intervene in those and didn't address the police conduct.
PETROS: I remember the destruction of April 12.
SARGSYAN: ... political offices were shut down, women were taken from offices and arrested. We had a girl from our party named Ani who lives in France today. She was beaten so much that she developed serious health issues and had to seek medical treatment abroad. The excessive use of force in the past and its disproportionality was very obvious, and on March 1 it turned into murders. Four political parties were shut down and sealed off: HZhK, Artashes Geghamyan, my party, ... We were just sealed shut and our property was taken away. The Church didn't intervene. They also didn't issue criticism after March 1. After March 1, Catholicos Garegin B went to visit Levon Ter-Petrosyan but the latter didn't accept him.
PETROS: That was followed by repressions, political arrests, and propped-up charges. There was no justice.
SARGSYAN: The Church didn't care. Today they say the residents of Kirants are protesting so its representative can join the protests, yet they didn't hear the complaints of residents in the past.
PETROS: The Church was also silent when the Armenian government figures appointed their chauffeurs as generals and plundered the army, while Azerbaijan was arming itself to capture Nagorno-Karabakh.
SARGSYAN: The military balance shifted in Azerbaijan's favor in 2004. Meanwhile, our leaders were busy praising the Armenian army as the best and most combat-ready army while relying on Russia to defend them. They began to falsify elections and earn profits through army schemes. The Church should have publicly declared that it's wrong to buy voters, to buy people's voice and soul for ֏5,000. The Church should have shamed those who sold their votes. After all, the Brible says not to spread false reports, which is similar to voting under the influence of a bribe. You sell your soul in exchange for the bribe money. The Church was silent.
PETROS: Galstanyan refuses to release the names of people in his cabinet if he becomes the PM.

Moscow sends a note of protest to Yerevan after the visit of an Armenian delegation to Bucha, Ukraine, the city where the Russian army committed massacres after the invasion

Context in Friday report. The delegation was led by Armenia's Ambassador to Ukraine and the leader of Yerevan's Nor-Nork district. They donated medicine to Bucha hospitals.
The head of Nor-Nork district Tigran Ter-Margaryan represents the pro-West "Republic" party led by ex-PM Aram Sargsyan. In response to Moscow's protest, he said is ready to visit Bucha again. Margaryan said he is confident Ukraine will defeat Russia and that every Ukrainian sees the war as a fight for independence and sovereignty. He also ridiculed Russia's foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova for not knowing the difference between Armenia's parliament and a Yerevan district.

Armenia will rewrite the Code on Administrative Offences that's so old it makes references to Soviet terminologies/institutions

The only thing this Code doesn't have is praise for Lenin papi. Efforts to replace it began a decade ago but it recently underwent some changes and was introduced to the public last year.
The justice ministry says it's necessary to ensure that the punishments envisaged under the Administrative Code are more lenient than the ones under the Criminal Code.
More thorough changes will be made in the punishments for legal entities and individuals who are a flight risk, as an example. 3-hour or 48-hour arrests could be imposed to prevent the flight or the repetition of the crime. For example, if you are drunk and cannot control yourself they could arrest you for 3 hours and check your sobriety every 3 hours to see if it's safe to release you. New forms of administrative punishment include revocation or suspension of various licenses. Instead of paying a fine, you could ask the authorities to do public work.

• Context: Armenia and Azerbaijan continue to control lands that belong to one other on the Tavush-Gazakh border. This allows both countries to continue to use their roads (Armenian road passing through Azeri land east of Voskepar, and Azeri road passing through Armenian lands north of Berkaber). Vartanov believes Azerbaijan will delay the return/exchange of remaining lands.
• The military positions that Azerbaijan has gained in Tavush after this delimitation could be used by Azerbaijan for psychological pressure but would not make Armenia significantly more vulnerable in the event of war because the nearby Armenian positions are more dominant and turn the Azeri positions into a peninsula in some places, said Vartanov, repeating the opinion of deputy army commander Amirkhanyan.
• Vartanov called for the construction of more roads near Tavush borders and criticized bureaucratic delays in Armenia.
• There is still a risk of resumption of hostilities, even after a delimitation of borders, and the only real guarantee for peace is a strong Armenian army, said Vartanov.
• Russia and the United States have not been and cannot be real guarantors. None can be trusted, says Vartanov.
• Vartanov believes Russia had some kind of an "agreement" with Azerbaijan at the time of Azerbaijan's attack on Nagorno-Karabakh, but he doesn't know the specifics of the agreement. He mocks Russia for denying the existence of the RU-AZ agreement.
• Vartanov does not rule out the possibility of the West betraying Armenia and agreeing to ignore the ongoing occupation of Armenian territories by Azerbaijan in exchange for favorable energy contracts with Azerbaijan.

• MOD Papikyan recently visited a large international military expo held in Bulgaria. Papikyan and his Bosnian counterpart were the only two foreign Defense Ministers. Petrov believes it shows the level of Armenia's interest.
• Western HIMARs and armored vehicle Stryker were displayed, among other things. Bulgarian products were displayed.
• Bulgaria is not a manufacturer of heavy weapons but Armenia could be interested in Bulgarian-made ammunition. Bulgaria is one of the largest manufacturers of those in the European continent, said Petrov. Bulgaria has both Soviet products and lately learned to make NATO-caliber ammunition.

• Petrov does not see the Bulgaria-Azerbaijan cooperation being an obstruction to a similar cooperation with Armenia.

Many Lebanese residents who believe the Syrians are economic migrants and not refugees are concerned about the impact on the economy, culture, and safety.
BAGRATUNI (Lebanese MP): International organizations provide massive amounts of financial assistance to Syrians in Lebanon registered as refugees but they take that money and visit Syria to meet their family members before returning to Lebanon for employment. We also have 500,000 Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. Almost half of the residents of Lebanon are foreigners today. //
Of the 1.5 million Syrian refugees, only 300,000 have official documents for employment, says the report.

The report says Syrian-Armenians were relatively better off financially and have been more independent from foreign aid. They have been able to integrate into the Armenian communities of Bourj Hammoud, Antelias, and other towns. Local Armenian orgs and charities provide assistance to those in need.
Authorities are paying special attention to inter-ethnic incidents and crimes to prevent them from growing into another civil war, says the report.

My son vomits on average 1-2 times a week for the past 6-8 months (primary doc always said do brat diet). He has choked many times when he was younger and my husband had to swipe food out of his throat. Now he gets food “stuck” often but can drink liquids to get it down. He gets heartburn/acid reflux often. Finally primary referred to pediatric gastro.
We got him right in for an upper scope. Dr told us immediately he saw inflammation and suspected EoE. He also mentioned how he was involved with early research on the condition. This makes my husband skeptical of the diagnosis, it kind of makes me more confident.
Anyway, we had a video apt on Friday where dr confirmed EoE based on biopsies. He didn’t have the results back from the blood test that was for allergies. He also said results of that won’t change anything, so I’m wondering, why would they do this test?
Here is where I’m struggling. Dr gave us no resources other than the Fig app. He told us to eliminate all dairy, wheat, eggs, and soy and come back for another scope in 2 months. He specifically told my son he could have gluten free Oreos, however they have soy in them (red per the Fig app).
As I’ve researched, there seems to be a lot of things added to food that have some of these 4 foods. I don’t know if small traces are okay, but if they aren’t I literally don’t know what he can (and will eat) other than rice. The other issue is he is on the autism spectrum and is so picky. He’s vomited on the dinner table more than once bc he swallowed something he didn’t like over the years.
I’m feeling like I have to do my own research, which is fine, but no guidance from the Dr is making me worried I’m going to mess this up. I can call them tomorrow. But wanted to get thoughts about our experience with the Dr as well as advice on what to feed him.
