The death year shown is correct, "MDCCCXCVI", but the birth year shown is clearly "MOOCCXXI", a meaningless number in Roman numerals. The correct birth year would be "MDCCCXXXIII". This is presumed to be an animation error, rather than an indication that Alfred Nobel's birth year is something different in the Futurama universe.

2024.02.10 16:52 boutell New US CCS chargers report for January 2024
Here are all of the new US CCS (Level 3 fast-charging) stations that rolled out in January 2024, according to the Department of Energy. You can
get the data yourself here.
These chargers are suitable for most new EVs on the market, except for:
- Tesla drivers who haven't bought the official CCS adapter yet. Certain older Teslas need additional work done to accept the adapter.
- Leaf owners like me, owners of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, and some owners of older cars that also use CHAdeMO. If you drive such a car, see my matching post in leaf.
Some of these chargepoints will be "refreshes," e.g. the provider replaced them with faster chargers etc. Some may be incorrect. This report is only as good as the Alternative Fuels Data Center data.
There were 233 CCS charging stations with a total of 548 chargepoints added or refreshed in January 2024, which is slightly up from December. Things are definitely speeding up overall, Here's a better comparison: there were only 195 new CCS charging stations in January 2023. Things are still speeding up overall.
"Wait, didn't everybody sign up to charge at Tesla superchargers?" Yes, most EV manufacturers are getting on board for this, and any minute now... maybe even this month... there should be adapters for many existing CCS cars from those manufacturers. But today, Tesla superchargers are not quite an option for non-Tesla cars, except for "magic dock" locations. "Magic dock" stations are becoming more common, but as of now there are still just 51 according to PlugShare. So this report is still useful.
If you'd like to know about new chargers along your routes right away, or just prefer not to check this list monthly when new openings are rare in your area, I've set up a free service that provides email notifications as soon as they open. You can
sign up at evpov.com. Or not! I don't really have a business plan here, I built it to help EV owners like myself.
To streamline this post, multi-chargepoint locations are listed with the number of chargepoints first.
Recently I improved the number-of-chargepoints figure to take better advantage of the data, so you'll see figures greater than 1 more often.
For serious trip planning, I recommend PlugShare. But by all means check out these reported new locations and submit reviews on PlugShare, which makes things better for everyone.

Hi all,
LPs leftover from WFMU record fair shipping from New York. I use media mail with reused mailers that are packed with either cardboard sheets or additional throw-away LPs. I usually charge out to $4-6/LP (obviously ship a diff, signature-required method for the bigger boys that I'll cover most of). Down to hook you up for multiples/open to offers/trades/etc. What's up.

Belies it's age, lines down spine, small dents here and there, and inner gatefold shows aged foxing spots. But Very solid.

Side B has a sleeve mark across the corner of the disc, also DNAP. Foxing on white cover, shows age but in overall good, patina-ed state. Inside gatefold also foxed, but since its full color it shows less.

OBI is in great shape with 3 for 4 small foxing marks. The sleeve shows some brown foxing on non-black spaces (the space left of Sade, her forehead, right of nose), corners crisp, spine in great shape.
- "Waterloo Lily" Caravan (DL-42) [11029989] VG++/VG+ $50
- NO OBI. With Japanese Insert. Disc in excellent shape. NM if it weren't for a couple paper scuffs that DNAP. Sleeve in good shape. Corners a little nudged, leading down to the upper part of the spine but it's in overall good shape.
- self-titled Picchio Dal Pozzo (K22P-183) [2998212] VG++/VG+ $80
- W obi and insert. Rare NON-gatefold sleeve. Disc is shiny and clean, plays perfectly. There is a small, maybe 5 MM paper scuff on side B that does not affect play. Lots of weirdo prog (non-JP press) if that's desirable. It's a lot to type these all out. You can check out my seller ratings on discogs and insta at/music.idiot
edit: added that I won't send the big boys media mail. haha
