2024.05.29 06:26 ttvlol_w1nter Stop complaining about faker skin price

I'm not huge on skins but all I see in this Reddit in the past few days is people complaining about the 500$ faker skin. Here's my take on that: Riot can do what ever they want, it's a fact whether you like it or not. Riot can cook extremely expensive legacy skins because they see this game going for the long run and a 500$ skin is NOT even that expensive (some of the unobtainable skins can reach hundreds of dollars these days, and people still buy them!). You don't have to own all the skins, sit that one out. And again, Riot can choose to do what they please, stop being offended by everything, I'm happy faker skin is expensive, I think faker is a legend and in 10 years, if league does go on and I still play it, I'll buy all my kids faker skins for Christmas.

2024.05.29 06:26 Hungry-Insurance-775 Are we carry enough? (Jg)

Hi there, i'm an old Volibear Main... Like I used to play Voli in the firsr twisted threelane map old. I've used as top, jg, support and even mid in this many years.
Thing is, I disconnected from rankeds and from breing competitive for a really long time. My closest friends are good players (peak Master) and honestly feels just Bad when I play with them because the burden (me) is too heavy... So i decided to solo queue, so i can check My skills, and surprise bronze 3 here šŸ¤£
I've just played 3 games, i'm guessing is not enough but i don't feel like i have the power to carry the team. In 2/3 games I put ahead both mid and top, like really ahead and anyways the other laners, with a not so good KDA found the way to impact more than My laners
I'm too used to play to fed My laners and i'm not sure this is useful in solo queue. Is not that hard to change that i think, i could try to get the kills for me, try to farm even more... But in 1 of the games i was fed and i was bot able to do anything when the enemy team started to stick together

2024.05.29 06:26 Lyokoheros Problem with replacing vanilla structures (and compact redstone contraption)

So, for quite some time I have thought about improving some of the vanilla structures, but not by completely changing them into something just remotely similar but organically building on what we have. Well and actually I'm doing it rather as datapack (as this would make it much easier to quickly port to new versions of the game and play on snapshot without an issue)
The first one I wanted to make is jungle temple. I had quite a bit of new rooms for it (the main new feature is that instead of one hidded chest the temple would have entire system of room beneath filled with loot and traps... and also some archeology) and more or less know how to stitch it all together(with jigsaw block)... but firstly I wanted to get the surface/entrance piece to correctly generate in the world.
Part of it is supposed to generate underground (as it is leading to the added underground chambers) but...despite having structure void down there it still carves terrain causing effect like this:
The actuall generation I get - wrongly removing part of the terrain
Below is how it actually should look like (more or less - I quickly added some relatively natural looking terrain where it should not be replaced by air and water):
The desired generation - with part hidden underground
Desired generation - look from the otther side
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? Here's the current version of my datapack (in rar file, and I kinda based my solution on reverse engineering this datapack)
Also I have a small problem with the redstone. I tried replace the original mechanism with one that would open the passage way to new part of the structure.
The new mechanism, seen in the spectator mode
Which... almost worked. There is one small problem (which I can't really pinpoint how it is happening) - one cobblestone block disconnects from the sticky cobblestone... making the entrance not fully open, after pulling all the right leavers
The entrance, still blocked by 1 block of cobblestone
Right combination is(assuming stairs on the left, + means the leaver is pulled down, means it stays up): + + + +
Here's how it should look like after doing the right combination (actually combination doesn't have to be like that, the important thing is for it to actually work... well I'm pretty much sure it once did but... I can't recreate that state)
The passage fully open, revealing part of the mechanism.
I would be very grateful if anyone would find some way to fix that too. (without making mechanism bigger, as it already barely fits inside the structure - and maintaining the (most of) original shape was pretty much one of my main objective in this project)

2024.05.29 06:25 Own_Tailor9802 Korea is really special to me

My name is Jessica, and I live in a small central American city of about 80,000 people.Today I'm going to share a story about Korea.First, I'd like to tell you a little bit about my family. When I was born, I already had an older brother.I don't mean just a little sister with an older brother. My brother was adopted from Korea. It's an unusual situation, isn't it? My parents struggled with infertility for several years before I was born, and they ended up adopting my Korean brother. Then, a few years later, they got pregnant with me, and I was born.My brother had different hair color, skin color, and eye color than me, but we got along very well.Even though we knew from a young age that we were adopted because of our differences, we got along well, and we were a family that loved each other deeply.
We played the same games, read books together, and spent a lot of time together. He always took good care of me, and he was a good brother who made me laugh.
I would say, ā€œBrother, let's read this book together!ā€ and he would always smile and read it to me. I think I liked and enjoyed his warmth to me, rather than focusing on the content of the book.
When we left our cozy home environment, it was time to go to school, and during this time, my brother and I were asked a lot of embarrassing questions. One day, while my brother and I were playing together, a friend asked me, ā€œJessica, why does your brother look different from you?ā€The question gave me pause, but he smiled and replied, ā€œBecause we are a family, looks don't matter. His positive attitude had a good effect on me, and I'm sure he had a good effect on himself, too.Watching him grow up right, and our family became interested in Korea. If he was a troublemaker and always in trouble, he wouldn't have had the time to take the time to learn about his country of origin, Korea, but when he studied well, didn't fight with his friends, and was a good person who always loved and cared for his brother, we couldn't help but wonder about his roots.
I think my parents also had the will to share Korean culture with my brother and me, to learn what they could, to broaden our horizons and deepen our family's understanding. Many years ago, when I was in middle school, my family visited Korea for the first time, and the experience left a great impression on me.
We visited many tourist spots in Seoul and saw the harmonious combination of Korean tradition and modernity. And Korea, with its many dark-haired, dark-eyed people like my brother, was somehow not foreign to me.For Americans traveling to Asia for the first time, this could have been difficult because people look different and give off different vibes, but not for me. My parents, of course, were very excited to revisit Korea, the country of my brother's birth, and spoke so many blessings about the land of my brother's birth.Of course, there were many good things to see and many fun things to do in Korea, but the most memorable moment was when I suddenly developed a high fever.
It was a quiet night in Korea at the time, and I suddenly developed a high fever. This change was so sudden that my parents panicked.Eventually, with the help of the hotel we were staying at, they were able to get me to the emergency room in Korea, where I was quickly treated.Upon arrival, the medical staff quickly assessed my condition and ran the necessary tests. The whole process was organized, and thanks to the professionalism and quick response of the medical staff, I was able to get comfortable quickly. My situation was so serious that my head hurt like a rock and I could barely understand what was being said around me, but thanks to their quick response, my fever started to come down and I was able to return to my senses. The tests showed that I had a severe flu, which had been contracted in the United States and had incubated in Korea.I had to stop traveling in Korea and be admitted to the hospital for treatment, but thanks to the fast and efficient healthcare system in Korea, this was not a problem.
My parents breathed a sigh of relief and expressed their deep gratitude to the Korean healthcare system.ā€œIf it wasn't for Korea, I would have been in trouble,ā€ my father said.Although my family had to stop our trip to Korea and spend the rest of my stay in a Korean hospital, looking back, it was also a unique experience abroad.
Many years later, as an adult, my relationship with my brother was still good. We enjoyed Korean dramas, movies, and music together, cooked Korean food together, and learned Korean together.
However, there was a clear difference between me and him: he seemed to be better at learning, even if he spent the same amount of time studying, and he went to a prestigious university, while I failed to get into college and became depressed.
He helped me with my studies every vacation, taught me how to study, and helped me to get into a prestigious university, but the results were not good. I was rejected by all the universities I applied to, and I was going through a very difficult time. After he graduated from college, he moved back home from the East Coast of the United States and helped me study for the college entrance exam, and with his help, I was able to get into college, albeit late.
Although I didn't get into a prestigious university like my brother, I still had a satisfying college experience and broadened my horizons.Naturally, I discovered that Korea has been on the global radar lately, which was very exciting.Korea may be the latest trend for Americans these days, but for me and my brother, it's like going back to our roots.I've always loved Korea, and it was very interesting and fond to reminisce about my trip to Korea when I was in middle school and look through my photo albums, even though half the time I was sick. So, my brother and I decided to visit Korea again, and this time, we had several goals for the trip: we wanted to make sure that we got it right this time, because we didn't get it right the first time, and my brother wanted to get to know his Korean roots better, even though he is now an adult, working as an American and living as an American, and I wanted to get to know my Korean roots better in relation to my major in college, and this time, I wanted to research more about the Korean healthcare system that I had experienced as a child.
Of course, I also wanted to have fun in Korea and enjoy the freedom to roam around the country unlike when I was a student, but I didn't take it too seriously.
Korea was so different from the U.S. It had the look of a big city in the U.S., but it had its own unique vibe. It was much more developed than the neighborhoods we live in in the U.S., and everywhere you looked was filled with people, and there were hundreds or thousands of stores selling a variety of things. If you were walking around and traveling, and you got thirsty and needed a break, there were cafes all around you that you could just pop into and take a break, and you didn't have to go far to find a restaurant that had one Korean food and sold it, because all the infrastructure was there.
Everything is around you, and everything you want or need is always right around the corner, which is why people call city life so convenient and love it.The public transportation system in Korea, which is light years better than the big cities in the U.S., helped us get around without any difficulty. It was also so much fun to get a T-money card, carry it around, and use it to get around Korea for a very low cost.
And when my brother and I would walk around, going to cafes, restaurants, and other places where there was something to do, many Koreans would tell us that we made a good looking couple. When I would tell them, in a pleasant and complimentary way, that we were actually brother and sister, they would look surprised and apologize.
But it's completely understandable, because even in the U.S., more people think of us as a couple or friends than they do as siblings, and there's not much of an adoption culture in Korea, and no one adopts and brings European or American children to Korea, so it's no wonder we get these funny misunderstandings.
To be honest, even in the U.S. nowadays, you can still encounter people who ask my brother and I questions about our relationship with unpleasant intentions to hurt us, assuming that we are not a couple or friends, but maybe even a man.A recent memory is of an American grandfather in his 70s who made a very rude remark to us, asking us what kind of father our father was to have two women give birth at the same time.
In the U.S., most people are friendly and kind to me, but the problem is that some people sometimes make fun of my brother because he looks Asian, but this was not the case in Korea at all.No one discriminated against me because of my different appearance.
And there's actually a story I wasn't going to tell in this article, but I'm writing it down because I had my brother's permission to do so.After arriving in Korea, we decided to search for my adopted brother's birth parents in order to trace his roots. My parents and I respected his decision to pursue this endeavor in Korea, and of course, we decided to support it. We visited the Korean adoption agency and requested my brother's adoption records. The representative provided us with all the information possible and was eager to help us, saying that efforts to find one's roots are ongoing every day.Together, we were able to find some important clues in the records.
My brother decided to visit his birthplace based on those clues, and of course, I joined him on the journey. We were always laughing since we came to Korea, but at this moment, there was more seriousness than laughter. We visited my brother's birthplace together and talked to the local people.
At the time, there was only a vague record of my brother's father and mother, but no proper records, so we only knew where he was born, and we had to go there and find someone who had lived there for a long time. But Korea is a very fast-developing country, and the sad thing is that the area where my brother was born and spent the first few months of his life was already torn down and replaced by a huge apartment complex. We felt that if we had come sooner, at least before these new apartments were built, things would have been at least better than they were, but there was no point in regretting what had passed. We visited the social welfare center and police station in the area, explained our situation, and asked for help. The Korean people were very kind, listening to my brother's story and letting us know what we could do.
We were told that when a new apartment building is built in Korea, new people who have no connection to the area move into the apartment, but that some of the people who live in these new apartments have been living here for a long time, most likely elderly people, and that the best thing to do is to find them and ask them about their past.We felt that this information would be very useful to us, as we were very confused and frustrated.
So my brother and I, along with a Korean lady who felt sorry for us and wanted to help, approached the elderly people who came in and out of the apartment and asked them questions. But despite all our efforts, we were unsuccessful in finding my brother's biological parents. We had many clues and information, but we were unable to find any conclusive evidence. My brother was disappointed, but we were comforted by the fact that we had done our best. Maybe if we could have spent a few weeks, maybe even a few months here to find and talk to an elderly person with memories of the past, we could have found a clue to the solution, but we couldn't stay in Korea, so in the end, we had to give up without proceeding any further. When I saw the look on my brother's face as he said that if he had the chance, he would visit Korea next time for this sole purpose, I felt a great sense of disappointment.ā€œIt's a shame that we couldn't find them, but thank you for trying,ā€ he said to me.I couldn't say it anymore.
It would have been great if he could have completed his homework, but he didn't.Contrary to my initial expectations, the Korean adoption agency tried to be as helpful as possible, and I was very grateful to the government officials in the place of my brother's supposed birth, who were very sympathetic to his situation and actively tried to help him, and to the Korean lady who passed by.
Having been treated by the Korean healthcare system in the past, I took this level of care for granted and thought that it was something that everyone could enjoy, but then, when I was a high school student in the U.S., I was seriously ill and did not receive the same care as I did in Korea, so I remember suffering terribly and tried to understand why this difference occurred.
Before I came to Korea, I had already arranged to meet with someone, and although I didn't get to visit any specialized institutions, I was able to meet with Korean college students, and I learned a lot of information from them: medical students, pharmacy students, and I was able to get a lot of information from them.
The Korean healthcare system was different from the U.S. in many ways: it was fast, efficient, and provided a high level of care at a relatively low cost. The quick response and organized system for emergencies was especially impressive. The emergency rooms in Korea were very reasonably priced, allowing people to go to them for minor and mild symptoms. At this point, I thought that if there were a lot of people going to the emergency room for minor symptoms, it would be a problem if someone came in who needed emergency care, but the hospitals in Korea made it very easy to answer that question. I also learned that when a really urgent patient comes in, the emergency room prioritizes the emergency patients and treats them first, ignoring the minor ones. It's so simple and obvious: the doctors have the skills to determine the severity of the patient's condition, and they can prioritize the treatment accordingly.
Not only that, but it was very easy to get an appointment in Korea and the wait time was short. The Korean medical staff emphasized patient care and prompt treatment, and they utilized the latest medical technology and equipment to provide the best possible medical care.
In the U.S., medical care is often very expensive, complicated, and difficult to access quickly, and many people are unable to get proper treatment due to insurance issues.I also received prompt treatment in Korea when I was in middle school without insurance and had to pay a reasonable price, but the experience was a nightmare as I remember being very sick in middle school and high school, and I felt that the Korean system was far superior.I felt that the Korean healthcare system is not for profit, but is dedicated to protecting the health of the people.
Through my experiences in Korea, I learned about a much broader world than what my brother and I knew before. There are many factors that make Korea such a great country, but the culture and system that my brother and I experienced firsthand helped us understand why.And most of all, Korea is the country that made my brother.I have grateful feelings for Korea, which is also my brother's roots.
My brother and I could tell without speaking to each other that through this visit, we saw in each other a willingness to continue to love Korea more and more, and to strive to learn and understand Korean culture.
Korea is now a country that has special meaning to me as an adult, and I think it will be a great pleasure for me to honor my brother's roots and watch Korea develop and grow.I will continue to connect with Korea and try to help more people discover its charms.
And next year, he plans to visit Korea to find his roots once again. He plans to stay in Korea for more than a month, and he will continue his best efforts during that period.

2024.05.29 06:25 Adventurous_Use_6446 WIBTAH If I Ruined My Parents Anniversary?

I (33f) am currently in therapy and working through the issues of my emotionally & sexually abusive childhood. My previous post goes into greater detail for those who'd like a fuller picture.
https://www.reddit.com/TrueOffMyChest/s/L41yChqdXp
I am at the point where I'm past shame & am very angry right now. I genuinely want to hurt them. I know how important their respective public personas are, how important it is that people perceive them as good people, great parents, the perfect couple and I don't think they deserve it. Especially not while I'm suffering because of them.
They keep playing the victim like I just have a diva bug up my ass & they have no idea why I've gone no contact. They keep calling me, texting my partner & trying to buy their way back into my life like they always have.
Even before they had kids, my mom verifiably knew how twisted my dad was and she never did anything to protect us. Sadly, I've learned not to expect much from a woman who'd pick an unfaithful, disrespectful, violent, sexually deranged male over herself & her children.
Even though they've hurt me deeply, I keep waffling. WIBTAH if I published my last post to FB for all of our friends & family to see? They tell everyone how terrible I am anyway, so I have no problem actually being the villan this time.

A message from GOD, ME! [See body text]
Even if everyone lived like billionaires but the human race were to go extinct and planet Earth were wiped out in The Hell Fire (šŸŒž, global warming, the sun expanding as a star consuming the solar system), all the money on the planet would have been dirt. Trash. Life, life itself, is a game and you failed due to the destruction of our Mother Earth. Game over.
I am a planet Earth nationalist. That means I am openly committed to my human race community. All of my thoughts and actions belong to it. I am not a communist. No, rather, I am a socialist. An Inter-National Socialist. - https://www.instagram.com/p/C6gRj-VLZhn/
"Politics is history in the making. History itself is the presentation of the course of a Folk's struggle for existence. I deliberately use the phrase struggle for existence here because, in truth, that struggle for daily bread, equally in peace and war, is an eternal battle against thousands upon thousands of resistances, just as life itself is an eternal struggle against death. For men know as little why they live as does any other creature of the world. Only life is filled with the longing to preserve itself... The two powerful life instincts, hunger and love, correspond to the greatness of the instinct for self preservation. While the appeasement of eternal hunger guarantees self preservation, the satisfaction of love assures the continuance of the race [the human race, with humans being a single species, not subdivided into Jews and gentiles]. In truth these two drives [hunger and love] are the rulers of life."
Political victory is an existential matter. It is of the utmost importance and will be achieved at any and all cost, no matter what. Sieg heil. Hail victory! āœ‹šŸ’Ŗ

2024.05.29 06:25 burr___ito What's the final soundtrack played at the ending of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley?

There's this song that played at the end of when Snufkin and Moomintroll finally released the water dam. It wasn't just an instrumental and had vocals with it. I loved it so much and tried to screen-record a bit, but it seems the game has blocked recording the audio. I tried to look for it on YouTube gameplay like this one, but this is just an instrumental soundtrack! šŸ˜ I'm not sure if mine had a recent update since I downloaded it just days ago!

2024.05.29 06:24 Purpleskurp Passing arbitrary code to a Blueprint from C++ -- delegates don't work?

I have a blueprint widget that inherits from a class that defines a BlueprintImplementableEvent like so:
`UFUNCTION(BlueprintImplementableEvent, Category = "ContextMenu")` `void AddMenuItem(FString MenuItem, FOnMenuSelectDelegate OnMenuSelectDelegate);`
My goal was to pass a delegate to the blueprint so that the blueprint could add a menu item to the widget, and once clicked, it would call the OnMenuSelectDelegate and I'd be set! Of course it's never that easy haha and it seems this isn't supported? I get the error:
Type 'FOnMenuSelectDelegate' is not supported by blueprint. Function: AddMenuItem Parameter OnMenuSelectDelegate
Is these any other way to:
  1. Have a C++ class call a method which triggers an event in a blueprint like above
  2. Have that event than call a delegate/function that is passed to it from the C++ code?
If it is helpful I can describe more of what I am trying to do (it's creating a dynamic context menu system for any object in the game world) but I didn't want to overload with information if not needed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

One of the perks the Dream Hunter gains in the normal game play rounds is this purple IV drip that gives the Dream Hunter more health the stronger your turrets are. I am wondering if anyone has found a way to defeat the Dream Hunter once they have this on them? I defended my room for a long time with no turrets feeding the Deam Hunter health. And each high tech, cool tech or workshop effect I put in the room didn't see to help. Has anyone run into anything like this? Have any advice to beat the Dream Hunter? If I can update with a picture showing what I am talking about I will try next time I see the Dream Hunter with it attached

2024.05.29 06:24 izzbo81 Best Starting Specs for VPX Computer

Hey everyone,
I'm sure you've seen a post like this a hundred times but I searched and couldn't find a reference post.
I'm want to setup a pc for my AtGames 4k. (I've had a alp hd for a year w/ssf and the Cleveland solonoids and upgraded to the 4k hoping to avoid a pc but honestly was ready to be 100% disappointed as the soc they picked is silly fir 4k).
I'm ready to start w/otg and if that isn't okay then either strip the alp hd or 4k and do a custom build but i don't have a lot of extra time hence the alp. So my question is what is the best minimal starting point on a pc build. Budget isn't a huge deal but I don't want to over spend on stuff that isn't needed. I've found a lot of posts on mini pics but the size isn't really a concern. I've build a bunch of computers in the 2000-2015 era but have just gamed with consoles as of late but am still a bit familiar with modern stuff but have no hands on experience l.
I'd love your opinions. I am looking for cpu/motherboard/gpu suggestions as I can fill in the parts.
Thanks, izZbo

2024.05.29 06:24 CranberryOne8803 The conversation I did not get to have.

Sorryā€¦ this is a bit in depth. Hang in here with me as I do need some support and understanding (validation), from anyone who can give it. I really think he still using behind my back. I just do, or at least scanning.
So, yet again several nights ago I tried to have a conversation with him (yes conversation, not argument), BUT to literally ZERO of my surprise it turned into an argument. Then he shoved me in the chest (because we had been drinking heavy alcohol he said), and that Iā€™m not allowed to bring up conversations when heā€™s had whiskey, or Iā€™ve had anything.
It does not matter how many ā€˜Iā€™ statements I use, how kind, nice, or loving I am. It does not matter if I give him all of HIS boundaries by bringing it up not on a work day, with time to decompress even when he has NO stress, and even breaks from the conversation. NONE of it matters. He says he has nothing left to say to me. That there is nothing left he can say, and nothing he can say will help.
He gets upset at the slightest bit of literally anything I say, no matter how kind, no matter anything. This is not a lie, Iā€™ve done SO much research to talk to him appropriately, all Iā€™m saying is why after all these months can we not have an actual check in where you tell me how hard this is or is not? Why can you not talk to me at all?! I cannot build trust, I am totally crushed, I was sobbing while he ignored me to watch a basketball game because he had ā€˜nothing that would make me feel better because heā€™s told me he is not doing anythingā€™.
I am SO hurt, especially when he lashed out and hurts me in every way, and makes excuses that it is his bad past and alcohol issues. Iā€™m the one to blame, not him. Heā€™s working SO hard and NOT touching any šŸŒ½ (that does not include scanning because he would not consider that, all he considers, though Iā€™ve said differently, is not Mā€™ing from looking at something).
He just wants me to sit down and shut up. There was this movie he wanted to watch tonight, and even when I said we need to talk after the bad explosion three nights ago (when my middle son was here), he said, ā€˜Oh greatā€¦ now we wonā€™t watch the movie or eat dinner.ā€™ When he got back in the room I told him we just needed to watch the movie because I did not even want to talk anymore, and he forced me. He would not let us that I needed to talk.
So then we did, it went exactly as badly as I thought it would even though I was SO good about it, then he stonewalled me for over an hour for no reason, let me cry while he watched basketball and said he had nothing to say because he was upset I said I would not work out, when I said it would not if he was not being fully honest with me, and even with the clarity he still said he did not understandā€¦ which was weird.
He gets terribly quiet like he has a lot to say when he does not say a word. Itā€™s manipulation to a tee. I know I need to just leave, but Iā€™m not at a point yet where I can. Why would someone do this to another person?! Itā€™s so awful. Iā€™m VERY hurt and I just need to hear from you all and get hugs and love.
Thank you of youā€™ve made it this far. ā¤ļøšŸ™šŸ»ā¤ļø

2024.05.29 06:23 __trust_me_bro__ CMV: This season is hot garbage

Every issue that Season 2 had has not been fixed, but instead has been turned up to 11.
For example, last season people hated that the moment you hit someone, they would just fly away with the Wings of Icarus and immediately disengage from fights. What does epic do? They make it so that you just stay in your car the entire game and you don't even engage in the first place.
Additionally, last season people hated that in a season themed around an ancient civilization, the boss mythics were all guns. What does epic do? They make a season with no reason to use guns, in a season themed around aggressive combat, and the cars basically render all the guns useless.
Furthermore, last season people hated that if you stood in the piss water, you would get a bunch of skull emojis around you that let you instantly teleport into someone's box, you wouldn't need to use piece control or anything you could just use your piss-dash and get in their box. What does epic do? They keep the piss water, and add nitro, which is like Slap, Chili, Fizz, and every positive effect ever, combined in one. Additionally, you can sprint to just smash into someone's box. NO BOX IS SAFE
But wait, there's more! We had the Shield EMP and the Anvil Launcher for pretty much the entirety of Season 1, when nobody needed them, and now in a season themed around cars, there's literally no counter.
Last season people complained that the battle pass was too hard to finish. What does epic do, they nerf XP, move the vbuck rewards even further back into the bonus rewards, and add those leg0 builds to the battle pass to make it even less valuable.
Last season people complained that all the changes felt out of place, and now they literally made an entire season with pois that look nothing like the rest of the map.
Last season, people were annoyed at how many missed opportunities there were, like Poseidon should have been a boss, dropping a trident, and all the gods should have been bosses, they should have been a boss at every POI since there is enough greek gods to work with. What does epic do? they keep the storm the same, even though there is literally a sandstorm, it would have been the perfect time to temporarily change the storm, like maybe it moves faster, or doesn't always form a perfect circle. And it would have been such a good time to bring crafting back!
tbh this season is a dumpster fire and unless some serious changes, this could be my last season playing this game.

2024.05.29 06:23 MariaEvee The shop for Australia and new Zealand sucks. Is there a way to get from other countries?

I've been looking at there stop for years, even when i was a kid I looked at there merchandise that they had. Everyone else gets better stuff and japan of course gets the best. Even worse you can't buy from other countries on Nintendo.
Is there a way to do that? Because I would love to get more Nintendo merchandise but Australia never has the best stuff. Even in game shops they never have a lot of stuff. They have more pokemon stuff more then like zelda or splatoon.

2024.05.29 06:23 burr___ito What's the final soundtrack played at the ending of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley?

There's this song that played at the end of when Snufkin and Moomintroll finally released the water dam. It wasn't just an instrumental and had vocals with it. I loved it so much and tried to screen-record a bit, but it seems the game has blocked recording the audio. I tried to look for it on YouTube gameplay like this one, but this is just an instrumental soundtrack! šŸ˜ I'm not sure if mine had a recent update since I downloaded it just days ago!

As a reviewer, I recently had the chance to use the SilencerCo AC669 Harvester Big Bore in my daily shooting activities, and let me tell you, it truly did live up to its reputation. The overall quality of the mount is impeccable, with a stylish design and a solid construction. The compatibility with various firearms, including the Omega 300" Hybrid and Harvester 338, is a major plus, as it allows for a seamless integration into my shooting setup.
However, one downside I noticed was that the installation process was a bit more complicated than expected. Despite this minor setback, the SilencerCo AC669 Harvester Big Bore proved to be a reliable and effective accessory for my firearms.

šŸ”—SilencerCo Hybrid 3-Prong Flash Hider for 9mm ASR Mount

https://preview.redd.it/c75cfe3dla3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ca22f52092c9c52e9cf3128329e4fa537397baa
As a gun enthusiast, I always appreciate a good suppressor for my firearms, and the SilencerCo Hybrid 1/2x36 ASR FH 9mm truly stands out. Its compatibility with the ASR mounting system makes it a breeze to install and remove. The patent-pending resonance suppression feature is a game-changer, eliminating that annoying tuning-fork effect that's so common with competing 3-prong flash hiders.
The design of the 3-port muzzle brake effectively reduces that harsh felt recoil and muzzle climb, making my shooting experience more enjoyable. However, I've noticed that the price point may be a bit higher than some other suppressors on the market, which could be a downside for some. My overall experience with the SilencerCo Hybrid 1/2x36 ASR FH 9mm has been positive, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective, easy-to-use suppressor.

šŸ”—LEGRIS 22Lr Suppressor: High-Performance, Standard 1/2" BSPP Threaded Silencer

As a seasoned shooter, I recently had the chance to try out the Threaded Silencer by LEGRIS. This bad boy was a game-changer for my 22Lr firearm. The first thing I noticed was the impressive quality of the silencer; it felt sturdy and well-built.
The male thread connection on the silencer was a breeze to set up - it didn't require any extra tools or effort. It securely attached to my firearm without any wobbling, ensuring a stable and reliable fit. This made my shooting experience much more enjoyable and worry-free.
One of the standout features of the Threaded Silencer was its versatility. It could withstand temperatures ranging from -4Ā°F to a scorching 300Ā°F. This made it a reliable option for various shooting environments and conditions. Its ability to handle such a wide temperature range set it apart from other silencers I've used in the past.
However, the Threaded Silencer did come with a slight drawback. While it was easy to attach, removing it proved to be a bit of a challenge. It took a bit of force and some patience to unscrew it, which could be a minor inconvenience for some users.
Overall, the Threaded Silencer by LEGRIS was a reliable and well-built option for my 22Lr firearm. Its impressive temperature range and sturdy construction made it a standout choice among other silencers I've tried. While there was a slight inconvenience with the removal process, it didn't deter me from enjoying my shooting experience with this high-quality silencer.

The Rugged Suppressors Obsidian is an exceptional fixed mount designed for carbine and subgun platforms with fixed barrels. It's been a game-changer in my daily life, providing a seamless experience with its robust construction and sleek black finish.
One of the highlights of this product is the thread mount, which securely attaches, making it perfectly suitable for fixed barrels. The model Fixed Mount has proven to deliver top-notch performance under various conditions.
However, there are some cons to consider. For starters, the Obsidian isn't without its share of bulkiness, which could pose a challenge for those seeking a slimmer profile. Moreover, while it's durable, it does require proper installation and maintenance.
Overall, this suppressor has made a significant impact on my firearm experience, bringing a new level of precision and comfort to my shooting. It's not without its quirks, but that's part of the journey.

šŸ”—Quality Rugged Suppressors Fixed Mount 1/2x36 Of002 for Various Host Weapons

The fixed mount fits like a charm on my 1/2x36 thread, and I love its durability. It's clear that the craftsmanship is top-notch, and I'm proud to support a product made right here in the United States.
While I've had zero issues with the Rugged Suppressors Fixed Mount, I have noticed that some competitors offer more adjustability, but their durability can't seem to match. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a reliable, fixed-mount solution for their firearms.

One of the most impressive features of this product was its versatility. With its multiple insert options, I could switch between different calibers with ease and precision. It was like having a silencer for every occasion at the ready.
However, it's not all smooth sailing. The installation process required a bit of fiddling around, and there were some moments of frustration involved. But once I got it right, everything fell into place perfectly. Overall, the Dead Air WLVRN Thrd Insrt is a must-have for anyone looking to get the most out of their Wolverine suppressor.

Using the Dead Air Nomad-30 E-Brake KA180, I noticed the significant difference it made when compared to other suppressors. The enhanced muzzle break helped to tame the recoil of my firearm, allowing me to maintain accuracy and precision during my shooting sessions. It truly lived up to its promise, offering a unique solution for suppressor enthusiasts looking to minimize felt recoil.
Though it might not be the most compact option available, it certainly stands out in terms of performance. It proved itself to be highly reliable and efficient, requiring minimal maintenance. The pricing, while not the most affordable, is certainly justified considering its exceptional features and performance. Overall, the Dead Air Nomad-30 E-Brake KA180 is an excellent choice for those seeking to enhance their suppressor experience.

šŸ”—Advanced Silencer for 3/8 in. Carbon Rods - 22Lr Suppressor

https://preview.redd.it/jbzk3bxfla3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=95f1a763eeb10a4a013127a8cd823ce2c4018331
As an avid hunter, I've grown accustomed to the loud noise that often accompanies each shot when using a suppressor. It can be a nuisance, especially when I'm trying to maintain stealth during my hunting expeditions. That's when I stumbled upon the Saunders Vudu-X String Stop Black 3/8 in. Daimeter 8 in. Rod.
This innovative suppressor caught my attention with its patented, high-performance compound bow string silencer that replaces my carbon rod dampener. The moment I installed it, I noticed a significant difference in the level of noise it produced. Gone were the resonant strikes and replaced with a much quieter experience.
What sets the Vudu-X apart is its ability to trap the string in a recoil chamber, effectively silencing every single shot. It also absorbed limb shock, making my overall shooting experience smoother and more comfortable.
However, it wasn't all good news. The Vudu-X sometimes felt a bit bulky, making it slightly harder to maneuver compared to my previous suppressor. Nevertheless, the benefits greatly outweighed the minor inconvenience.
Overall, I'm happy with the Saunders Vudu-X String Stop Black 3/8 in. Daimeter 8 in. Rod as my suppressor of choice. Its ability to significantly reduce noise and absorb limb shock makes it a worthwhile investment for any hunter seeking a more discreet and comfortable shooting experience.

What is a 22Lr suppressor?

A 22LR suppressor is a device that is designed to reduce the noise created by a 22LR (. 22 Long Rifle) rifle when the trigger is pulled. This device, also known as a silencer, helps to make shooting more enjoyable in noise-sensitive environments and ensures that others nearby are not bothered by the sound.

What are the benefits of using a 22Lr suppressor?

https://preview.redd.it/t4cvicghla3d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4486a1c5cd452988fd00006daa65205a3fda6eab
  • Improved shooting experience: A suppressor significantly reduces the noise generated during firing, making the experience more pleasant and enjoyable for both the shooter and others nearby.
  • Safety: Reduced noise can help protect your hearing over time, especially if you shoot frequently.
  • Less disturbance: Suppressors help to reduce noise pollution, minimizing interference with wildlife and other nearby people or activities.

How does a 22Lr suppressor work?

A 22LR suppressor works by using a series of baffles to slow down and dissipate the high-speed gas generated by the firing of a 22LR bullet. This gas, in turn, cools down and reduces the noise created during firing. The suppressor's internal components are typically made from materials that are heat-resistant and can withstand the high temperatures and pressures generated by the firing process.

Are suppressors legal to own and use?

The legality of owning and using suppressors varies by country and sometimes by state or province. In the United States, ownership of suppressors is permitted under the National Firearms Act, provided that the owner holds a valid Federal Firearms License and has completed the necessary background checks and paperwork. It is recommended to consult with local authorities or experts for the most accurate information regarding your specific situation.

How do I choose the right 22Lr suppressor for my needs?

  • Consider the type of shooting you plan to do: Different suppressors are designed for specific applications, such as hunting or target shooting. Be sure to choose one that is suitable for your intended use.
  • Research materials and construction: High-quality materials and construction will ensure a durable and effective suppressor that can withstand a variety of shooting conditions.
  • Check for user reviews and ratings: Reading reviews from other users can help you understand the pros and cons of different models and make an informed decision.
  • Consult with experts: Seek advice from knowledgeable individuals, such as gun store owners or experienced shooters, to help you find the best suppressor for your needs.

What are some popular 22Lr suppressors on the market?

Popular 22LR suppressors on the market include the SilencerCo Omega 36M, the Rugged Suppressors Fatboy 22, and the Tactical Innovations 22LR Pro.

Hello folks, I have been using ergonomic chair and other smart furniture stuff for a while and just wanna share a bit of my experiences (and issues, too) when using these "ergo" thing so that anyone who's looking for a purchase can have a better reference. I also made a similar post for standing desk that you can check out here: https://www.reddit.com/StandingDesk/comments/1cu0tww/sharing_my_standing_desk_experiences_tips_fo?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
So what should you consider when looking for a good ergonomic chair? While it's highly subjective and depending on each person's preferences and styles, I have summarized some bullet points that I believe lots of people will relate to:
  1. Seat padding & backrest quality should be top priority: because these 2 parts will affect 90% of your experience and feeling when you sit on the chair. For me there's 2 popular types of seat padding in the market right now: Cushion (or Foam) and Mesh. It's a short statement, high-quality mesh is more comfortable than a cushion since it's breathable (wich support better air flow and don't make you feel overheated when sitting during long hours). But it doesn't mean that cushion seat sucks. If a chair makers use a high-density foam and incorprate lots of memory foam (a material made from PU, and also used in mattress to enhance comfort) layers, then the outcome quality of the cushion can be comparable (to some extent) with a mesh seat as well. However, with a normal person it's not easy to check this info, and as far as I know, most of brands don't public these details (density specs and foam layer technology). So if I have to make a suggestion, going for a mesh seat would be an easier option. And if you still prefer the cushion seat, consider choosing reputational brand like Herman Miller or Harworth. About backrest, I highly recommend you go for the mesh materials. Leather backrest is not meant for ergonomic, it's meant for gaming and some specific office/home decoration style. Fabric backrest is not worthy to invest, even though it's fairly cheap. And design? for me a single-panel backrest design is enough, but there're some products that offer multi-panel backrest (like the Sihoo DORO S300) for even more customized positions - which is also good because it can perfectly adapt to your exact position and create a good form for your back. But be notice that it will cost you extra $100-$300, so if you have generous budget, go for it. if not, there is no problem at all with a single backrest design
  2. Lumbar support, armrests, and headrest are 3 core adjustability features that you need, anything else is optional. A luxury chair can offer up to 10 different adjustability points. More adjustability features mean more expensive the price is, so I recommend that you just focus on certain things that really matter to you, and for me there are 3 of them: lumbar support, headrest, and armrest. Lumbar support matters the most because it directly affect your spine and back posture. A good lumbar support is the one that's highly adjustable in different angles/position, and you can check this out on the spec info on the brand's website. Do not go for fixed lumbar support because you will never know if the size of the chair fits with your body or not. I would be really mad if I buy a chair just to find out that its lumbar can not adjust to fit my sitting position. With headrest & armrest it's more easy to decide. Headrest should at least be able to go up/down and tilt to adapt to your head's proper position. 3D to 5D armrests should be fine for me, and going from 3D to 5D totally depend on what you need. with 3D armrest, you can move it up/down, forward/backward, inward/outward; 4D armrests can rotate left/right, 5D ones can rotate vertically. You won't need to pay more for 6D armrest, unless you are a real hardcore gamer or have a specific task that require it (with normal use case, I don't think that most people will need 6D armrest on your chairs). Additionally, there's couple of things you need to notice about armrests & headrest design: armrest should be lockable because sometime you will find it really annoying when you try to focus on something and would need the armrest to just stay in same position. With headrest it's a bit similar, some low-quality made headrests can easily slide up and down when you sit even if you don't want to, which is very irritating. There're not best practice on how to avoid this, so I recommend you checking different actual user reviews of the chair you intent to buy.
  3. Price: A basic ergonomic chair usually ranges from $199 - $299. With this price you will have basic material (foam, tpe plastic...), basic adjustability, and you can't expect all features that I recommend above (I take price reference for US market only, and my opinion could be wrong in some markets). With a bit higher budget, like $399 - $499, there are quite lots of choices that check 90% of my recommendations. I can name some including Flexispot C7 (mesh seat, 2-panel mesh backset and even a footrest), Autonomous ErgoChair Pro (mesh backrest, high-quality cushion, but their lumbar only offer up/down adjustments, you can not tilt it or push it forward or backward), Branch Verve Chair (this one have a fabric back, not the mesh one, but one of my friend who use it said she has no problem with that, it's still comfy for her). That is just my personal opinion and you should always look for more actual reviews of them before you make any purchase. Regarding the high-end segments, it's no longer about the specs but about the look and feel of the products, as well as how trusted the brand is. You can spend around $1200 on a HM Aeron Chair and can just forget about this post, simply because at HM they put lots of efforts in R&D, and the outchair is already made from finest materials, huge adjustability features and more importantly, its design is unique (the impressive thing about HM is that you can actually go to their website and find out who created which products, like the HM Aeron Chair is created by a designer named Bill Stumpf). Other familiar brand names in this segments that you can take a look is Harthwork (not actually a different brand but like a collection under HermanMiller name), SteelCase...
TL;DR: Seat Pad & Backrest should be considered first, and go for highest possible quality for these parts. About adjustability, focus on 3 most important feature: lumbar support, 3D-5D armrests, adjustable headrest; Pricing: choose what suits your budget - a chair under $399 do not offer lots of premium features; a chair from 399 offer most of standard features and quality; if going above $1000 then care about brand's reputation

2024.05.29 06:23 xpert3154 Help fix my PS3

I have a PS3 super slim (CECH 4000 series) I was replacing the ribbon cable for the CD drive and they work great and all but when ever I put the top cover (of the PS3) back on then put the CD in it doesnā€™t spin the CD (it struggles to spin it) properly and it doesnā€™t detect a game, even if it spins properly itā€™s like for a second then goes back to barely spinning or not spinning. I tried the CD drive without the cover and it works perfectly fine infact it loads up a game and everything. Someone encounter this before???
