So my driver drove up in a silver Equinox instead of GMC Acadia that was advertised on his profile. I have no issue with this. When I mentioned it to him, he asked if I could contact support. Apparently he changed the vehicle in his profile at least a few weeks prior, but it hasn't changed on the passengers view. He sounded very frustrated with Uber, as multiple passengers apparently have mentioned it to him. I'm wondering what I can do, if anything. I don't want to report him, if it's going to affect his rating in a negative way. Suggestions?

Hello, I am a first time buyer in the process of purchasing an 1890s mid-terrace in Wales and recently had a RICS level 2 survey done on the property. In my two viewings of the property I did not see nor smell any damp in the house aside from a rather small and faint dark patch upstairs where the chimney breast would be. However, the survey said that "high damp readings were detected in the ground floor and first floor walls". I asked the surveyor about this and she said that she used a protimeter and took readings around the windows and chimney breast. From what I understand, these meters can be unreliable, and given that I didn't see any damp in the house (aside from the small patch), and the walls don't appear to be recently painted, I am doubting that there is any serious damp elsewhere in the house. That said, this warning has unsettled me a little and I'm not sure if I should investigate it further.
Another issue the survey listed was possible damp on the purlins in the loft. The surveyor took photographs which show apparent watermarks on parts of the beams, although she said she couldn't fully get into the loft to see if these were simply historic from previous leaks. I am trying to arrange a roofer to come and look at this because although the roof isn't in dire need of repair, it's not new either. And I'd rather not worry about the roof coming down on my head!
Anyway, I am writing this mainly because I'm kind of unsure of myself. Buying a house is daunting and I'm not sure if I'm doing the right things or not. Any advice is much appreciated!

First of all, I would like to apologize beforehand for my English writing skills, since I am not native to the English language.
Ever since my ex-girlfriend left me half a year ago before Christmas time, I feel empty.
I feel like there is no joy in everything I do and I completely forgot the feeling of euphoria.
Maybe its my very rational nature. I see in black or white. Wrong or right.
I rarely get sad about things. Because I know that, if there is nothing about it that can be changed, I shouldn’t waste any recourses being sad about it. But so am I rarely happy about things.
Of course, when I meet my friends and catch up with them, I might feel happy for the time being, but deep inside its still emptiness.
I miss knowing that there is someone waiting for me. Someone who’s overloading with joy just at the glance of me. Someone I can always rely on. Someone to fall back on.
For context: the relationship lasted 2.5 years and I am turning 20 very soon. She was my very first girlfriend as well.
I know this makes me very young and some of you may say „it’s normal to feel this way. You’re young. Let time heal your wounds.” Or “you already got a girlfriend. There won’t be any trouble finding another one” (which I am very certain about as well. I would rate my appearance at a good 7 or low 8)
But that’s the point. I don’t want my happiness depending on another person.
For all I can remember I did everything for our future. I worked throughout Highschool and saved 90% of everything to finance our vacations and maybe a house one day (these days you got to start early).
I consumed red/black pill content even before the break up. But always with caution and questioning the contents. I started working out. Because I wanted to be the best version of myself for her and for us.
I successfully applied for a dual study program at a big insurance company with high profile jobs in hopes of securing our financial prosperity.
I knew everything I did had a purpose.
Now I continue to do the same. I work. I work out. I prepare myself for the studies starting in August. That’s everything I do. I feel stuck like being on a treadmill. Knowing that all I do is objectively right. The optimal path for guaranteed success. But I feel like I’m still not moving forward.

I really do like my friends. But going to a lake or to the swimming pool with anyone feels like a chore in order to keep my social life healthy and maintain friendships. I rather work and make money in the meantime.

Sorry if this is a long post. I’ve not really been able to speak to anyone in my life about my experience and I have just hit a wall. I’ve been with my husband (34M) for 12 years. We got married in June and have a gorgeous one year old girl. He had a large lump on his neck for 6 months that he was continually told was nothing. He pushed and it was eventually biopsied and he was diagnosed very unexpectedly with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in November 2023 which had spread to lymph nodes in his neck bilaterally. There were many tests and procedures to get the full diagnosis and I am fairly confident that the primary tumour is more extensive than he understands based on some comments made by doctors. He wasn’t a candidate for surgery given the tumours locations, so he had six rounds of chemo to try to shrink the tumours before starting two months of daily radiation and weekly chemo. We are on week 7 of 8. I have taken most of the responsibility for parenting our daughter since she was born. I had to take a career break as we couldn’t get childcare for her (childcare in Ireland is horrific, it’s impossible to get). My background is a speech and language therapist and SLTs work in head and neck cancer. Although it’s not my area, I studied in it and did hospital rotations so had a good understanding of the effects of treatment for his cancer. Anyway, since his diagnosis I am full time caregiver to both my husband and daughter. We have no childcare so essentially I spend 17 hours or so a day caring for one or other of them. I’ve not had so much as an hour to myself since this began. I have had moments of overwhelm but keep trying to pick myself back up. My husband would be by nature quite an impatient person and can be quite insensitive. I have tried to stay empathetic, I know he is suffering and struggling but I am so tired of being snapped at, being spoken of poorly and there being no recognition of how difficult it has been to go through this while also raising our child alone. Our little girl is so sweet, for months I’ve talked to her about daddy being sick, his medicine, going to the doctor, blowing kisses when she’s been sick so as not to make him sick etc. He sees her for honestly no more than a few minutes a day which is really hard on her. Today she went to hug him and he said can you take her away, time goes too slow when she’s around and i want to ge left alone. Two days ago he bit my head off for “encouraging her” to come up to him (yet he will look for hugs etc when it suits him). I was frankly disgusted and reminded him she is a little girl and he’s her Dad, that there is a balance. He told me there is no balance and he doesn’t care about anyone else right now. I suggested a nebuliser for him with his care team today, which I sourced, organised a prescription for the saline, picked up, paid for and sterilised and set up for him this evening. After finishig, he really flew off the handle at me for suggesting he try a particular mouthwash again. He swore at me, told me I’ve been horrible to him, that I’m not even trying, and much worse. I am so worn down from how he is acting towards me. I promise this is not a situation whereby I am giving a skewed view - I know what he’s saying is untrue, im doing absolutely everything for him and my daughter to my on detriment. I just don’t know where to put all these feelings. Im petrified for him and I’m also tired of being the target of his outbursts. I know he fully believes what he says to me and that hurts the most, I know that no apology will come because he thinks I’m at fault. Im worried for our relationship. How have others got through the rage and blame? Does anyone else have young kids? I don’t want to speak to others in real life as I don’t want them to judge him afterwards, plus it’s hard to speak badly of someone going through gruelling cancer treatment. hello, hope everyone is doing good! long story short, i broke up with my bf a few weeks back. what happened was: he was extremely cold and uncaring JUST with me (he said he was going through a rough patch in his life so he couldnt be as affectionate, however, when he was with his friends, he was completely normal, attentive, chatty and happy); he made 0 effort to talk to me (i came home from work everyday wanting to chat and be with him and he never talked and wanted to be alone); whenever i tried to talk to him, i felt like i was talking to a brick wall, i was the only one talking.
he had always been chatty and very curious about my day and always asked questions, he was very present but became very distant. this lasted for around 3 weeks. i felt like my presence wasnt wanted nor needed.
at the same time this was happening, i always saw his status appearing as Online on instagram, at the time he was supposed to be asleep, while i was away at work (i work very early mornings). i say 'as he was supposed to be asleep' bc he would text me back( like 5 hours after) saying 'good morning, just woke up'.
i know apps can bug and can be faulty, but this has never happened before in the 7 months we were dating, and it kept happening EVERYDAY for 3 whole weeks.
him texting and talking to another girl honestly didnt even cross my mind bc idk if he'd be the type to do that, but i got a little insecure bc the first thing he used to do when he woke up was text me, it was a little cute thing we had, our dynamic. we texted a lot! i really used to feel like i was the first thing on his mind whenevrr he woke up, and i had gotten a little sad thinking he now was waking up, spending hours alone, and lying about his waking hours just so he doesnt have to text me back. this + him being so distant carved a little hole in my heart and i began to think he really didnt like my presence that much.

i didnt think this problem would escalate and i never even considered breaking up with him, to me it was just an 'asking for reassurance' type of thing; however, he got super defensive and lashed out at me.
he told me the app is wrong and hes never online, and that i dont know what im talking about. he said i was essentially accusing him of lying and he was super pissed at me.
he didnt reassure me at all; and his way of fixing this situation? he turned off his status activity so i couldnt see him online anymore, and said: 'there, now u cant see shit'.
i felt disrespected bc to me it showed he was more concerned over being seen as a 'liar', than to actually reassure me and than to make sure i felt loved, and so i broke up with him. he saw me very nervous and crying my eyes out while i was being vulnerable and sharing my feelings (i struggle a bit with that as i tend to bottle things up) and all he did was defend himself while being rude and insensitive. this was a few weeks back. i dont know if i overreacted but at the time it felt like the right thing to do.
i wanted a third person view on this whole thing to really figure out if i actually overreacted and if i should reach out to him to try and talk things through, since now im doubting my own choices. thank you for reading. sorry if my english isnt great, not a native speaker. was it an overreaction on my part?

PASHINYAN: Democracy has indeed become a reality in Armenia. Before the 2018 Velvet Revolution, massive electoral frauds were the usual companion of elections in Armenia. There was no trust among the citizens that there was a real chance for them to elect the government.
Now the situation is totally different; citizens know that they are powerful enough to decide. The two general elections that were held in Armenia after the Velvet Revolution have been acknowledged as democratic, free, and competitive both by the Armenian society and the international community.
Armenia made huge progress in strengthening the democratic institutions, an achievement reflected in reputable democracy indexes:
(a) Now we are the 43rd in the Reporters Without Borders’ Freedom of Speech index, compared to 79th place in 2017.
(b) Categorized as having partially free internet in 2017 by Freedom House, now we enjoy the status of a country with free internet.
(c) In Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, Armenia is now 62nd instead of 107th in 2017.
(d) In the Economist Intelligence Unit’s democracy index we are 84th compared to 111th in 2017.
In order to assess this progress, it's essential to note that alongside democratic reforms, Armenia has been contending with external security challenges: the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan's invasion of Armenia in 2021 and 2022 and the occupation of over 200 km² amid inaction by [Russia's] CSTO, the forced displacement of over 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, have cast doubts among Armenian citizens weather democracy is the right choice. So, democracy needs to prove its efficiency while dealing with security, economic and humanitarian challenges.
We are pleased with the deployment of EU monitoring mission alongside the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and we welcome EU’s decision to expand its capacity. On the other hand, we hope for the inclusion of Armenia into the European Peace Facility and in this regard, we rely on the support of all EU member states [Hungary].
A new set of commitments aimed at strengthening Armenia’s economic resilience, state institutions, and addressing the humanitarian needs of refugees has been taken on by the European Union and United States during the high-level meeting on April 5 in Brussels. The rapid and effective implementation of those commitments is of utmost importance.
Despite all the challenges, we believe that the real and most aspiring companion for democracy is lasting and sustainable peace. My government took the share of its responsibility for this. Recently we reached an agreement with Azerbaijan to launch the delimitation of our interstate borders on the basis of the Almaty Declaration of 1991. That means that during the delimitation we should simply reproduce the Soviet-era administrative borders. This is the implementation of the agreement reached in Prague in 2022. Now it is time to incorporate and reflect those agreements in the peace treaty and have it signed.
Another key point for our regional stability is the «Crossroads of Peace», project, initiated by my government. This project implies that Armenia and Azerbaijan restore and open transport and other communications in accordance with the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the countries through which they pass, and comply with the principles of equality and reciprocity. These elements of the concept were agreed upon during the July 2023 meeting with Ilham Aliyev and Charles Michel. //

REPORTER: [Ex-NATO leader] Anders Fogh Rasmussen called your neighbor an autocracy. You are in a very difficult geopolitical and geographical position. How do you solve the security problem in that environment?
PASHINYAN: I would not like to comment on the internal situation of our neighboring countries. Democracy fully corresponds to the mentality of our people. It is a strategy for our government, it is our political belief, it is also our political identity. The members of our political team have spent most of their lives fighting for democracy, the rule of law, and freedom of speech. Now we have the opportunity to realize all these values in our country.
The security situation was complicated because of the regional and global situation; the world order is collapsing at the moment. My assessment is, and I have had occasion to say this publicly, that the 2020 war was a prelude to further developments. And now the main issue is security.
What is our strategic point of view, how are we going to guarantee the security of our country? Recently, I gave a speech in our parliament, where I said that the most important tool for ensuring security is a foreign policy based on legitimacy. This is the reason why we so often speak about the 1991 Almaty Declaration.
It is very important that during the 2022 Prague meeting, two very important agreements were reached. Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty on the basis of the Almaty Declaration and will use it as the basis for the border demarcation. This is the reason why I said that we are not drawing a new border, we just need to reproduce the existing one on the ground. This process is happening right now, and I hope that we will continue it steadfastly.
REPORTER: The border conflict that has occurred in recent years has had a negative impact on relations with Russia and Russia's role for Armenia. What would you say about this?
PASHINYAN: Armenia is a member of CSTO. We are officially a CSTO member, but I have announced that we have frozen our participation.
REPORTER: So are you still a member or...?
PASHINYAN: It is a matter for further discussion, but it is very important to record the current situation. A crisis arose in our relations after Azerbaijani troops invaded Armenia, and according to CSTO procedures, the Organization and its member states had to support Armenia in this situation. But even after the formal application, the CSTO refused to take any concrete steps, and in fact, that is the main reason for freezing our participation in the CSTO at all levels.
REPORTER: Do you expect the West to occupy the current vacuum and ensure your security?
PASHINYAN: We are diversifying our foreign relations in all spheres. Now we are developing defense cooperation with India, France, and other countries. We have a certain cooperation with the European Union because as I mentioned, we are happy about the deployment of the EU Civilian Observation Mission on the border. It is a civilian mission but in a way, it is a new factor for the security of our region. This is the first time that the European Union participates in the security agenda of Armenia.
REPORTER: Would you like to become an EU member?
PASHINYAN: We are waiting for the EU's decision to include Armenia in the European Peace Facility. We also hope to start visa liberalization negotiations, and last year I announced in the European Parliament that Armenia is ready to be as close to the European Union as the European Union deems it possible. This is our position.
REPORTER: Can you elaborate on what initiatives Armenia is taking in the fight against corruption?
PASHINYAN: We have made huge progress but have not eradicated corruption from Armenia. We must continue to be persistent in the agenda of democratic reforms. This is the reason why cooperation with the European Union is of utmost importance for us because today the European Union is our main partner in the implementation of our democratic reform agenda. We hope that the European Union, as well as the USA, will increase their support to Armenia in the implementation of democratic reforms, because, as I said, democracy is a strategy for us.
By the way, in 2019 we started a Strategic Dialogue with the USA, and today we see the strengthening of our cooperation with the European Union. We recently had a tripartite meeting with the participation of the USA, EU, and Armenia. It was an unprecedented format, where we adopted a huge agenda of institutional and economic reforms. It is also very important that we receive more tangible support from the EU and the US to address the humanitarian needs of the Nagorno Karabakh refugees because it is a very sensitive and emotional issue for us.
REPORTER: In which year would you like Armenia to become a member of the EU?
PASHINYAN: This year [as soon as possible]. //

former regime continues to hold protests and briefly shut down roads in Yerevan with demands for PM Pashinyan's resignation

Dozens of participants were detained and released the same day for blocking roads. The detentions decreased from 170 on Monday to ~63 on Tuesday. They want Pashinyan to resign or to be impeached. The protest organizers visited universities to gather student supporters, some of whom joined them with a dance. The organizers also stopped by at a bakery where they were given free food.
A felony investigation was launched after a police vehicle, "with the sirens on", struck a reporter on the street. In another instance, an investigation was launched against a protester who brought a long sword. One other case was launched over alleged threats made on Facebook by a Galstanyan fan who wants scores of people to be beaten in dalans and exiled from Armenia, "մենակ էտ դեպքում էս սրբազան հողը կմաքրվի էս տեսակ շան ծնունդներից, ուրիշ ձև չկա!!!!"

Yesterday the protest co-organizer Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan said he received a report suggesting that the Deputy Rector of Yerevan State University supposedly urged deans and others to retaliate against students who joined the protests. Galstanyan said he was unsure whether the report was true, but decided to read it out loud anyway. On Tuesday he rallied his supporters to the backyard of the University where he demanded to speak with the Deputy Rector for clarification.
The Deputy Rector went downstairs and greeted Galstanyan, who shook her hand but wouldn't let it go for an uncomfortably long period, prompting her to ask him to let go of her hand. The Deputy Rector declared that whatever Galstanyan read about her was a defamatory lie.
GALSTANYAN: I never believed it myself.
DEPUTY RECTOR: Then you should not have said out loud something you did not believe.
GALSTANYAN: Listen, there is a recorded fact...
DEPUTY RECTOR: Where is that "recorded fact"?
GALSTANYAN: It was on the media. As I said yesterday, I had no verification that it was true, which is why we came here to clarify it. If it's false, then I apologize.

The Deputy Rector urged the protest organizers not to enter the building or disrupt the classes, and that "anyone who wants to follow you can follow you, anyone who wants to stay in classrooms should stay in classrooms".
The angry Deputy Rector left. Another university official criticized Galstanyan for not checking the information before reading it to his followers. Galstanyan said he stands behind his words, and that he was "just reading what was on the media", but reiterated that he had no intention to insult the Deputy Rector.

Armenian army chief denies being a Russian citizen

A statement released by the defense ministry denies media reports that CoGS LtGen Edward Asryan is a dual citizen of Russia. His wife is an ethnic Russian with Armenian citizenship and his kids are dual citizens, but Asryan only has citizenship in Armenia. The whole family has resided in Armenia since 2006, said the statement.

Georgia passes controversial ‘foreign agents’ bill despite widespread opposition

The law will require organizations receiving more than 20% of their funding from abroad to register as “agents of foreign influence” or face crippling fines.
The bill will be sent to the President who is expected to veto it, but her veto is expected to be overruled by the parliamentary majority later.
Georgian PM Kobakhidze had an "honest conversation" with U.S. deputy foreign minister James O'Brien, telling him that the Georgian government is interested in deepening the partnership with the U.S., "which requires mutual efforts and relations based on fairness."
James O'Brien demanded to speak with the manager - Bidza Ivanishvili. The latter refused to meet O'Brien, saying he won't hold any meetings under "blackmail".
The White House said the U.S. will review its relations with Georgia if the bill becomes law.

REPORTER: The rainy May is not going to be enough to alleviate the negative consequences of the rapidly rising temperatures in Armenia. With a ~3 Celsius anomaly, Armenia had the second-highest increase in temperature over the last 6 months among a group of monitored countries.
WEATHER CENTER: High temperatures increase the evaporation of water and reduce the amount of snow in the winter. In December and January, we recorded rain instead of snow in certain mountainous regions, which is bad for water resources.
REPORTER: A conference was recently held in Yerevan within the framework of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification.
UN official: Around 40% of global soils are degraded. Millions of people will be forced to migrate from their communities by 2050 as a result of climate problems. Emergency action is needed to reduce the rate of rising temperatures. //
Armenia joined the Convention three decades ago and has assumed the responsibility to restore degraded soil by 2030. The government is promoting drip irrigation systems for farming and wants to plant more trees.

Armenia and Iran discussed the construction of a second bridge over the River Araks

The first bridge began operating in 1996. It came to replace the floating bridges on the river.
Iran says the AM-IR traffic through the Meghri checkpoint significantly increased last year. Coupled with the fact that Armenia is building a modern North-South highway, they believe it's necessary to have a second AM-IR bridge to handle the rising traffic.
The parties are currently discussing the formation of a working group consisting of experts to discuss the topic.

a new study on mice indicates that more exercise might be better than more sleep for clearing brain of toxins

They injected a dye into a brain and tracked the speed of its movement during sleep and exercise.
The findings show that the clearance of the dye was reduced by 30% in sleeping mice compared with mice that were kept awake. This has not been confirmed on humans yet.
Previous research has suggested that sleep is important for preventing dementia as it is during this time that toxic proteins are cleared from the brain.

We are in six months separation. She did reach out last month then at the last minute before we were to meet up, she backed out and blocked me for the third time. That got me to feel ups and downs throughout that week. I went on vacation, got a lot of downloading, insights, and so on and it got me to the highest vibration to feel peace, self love, etc. Though, last night, I didn't chase when I felt either her longing for me and it was torture. I decided to shift that focus to myself today because I was feeling high vibrations before. I can do it again. And I didn't want to focus on her because I need to live my life for me. I also want to set up better boundaries, etc.
Today, I was reaching out to a friend on Facebook. I was searching on the fb messenger instead of scrolling because I didn't want to see her profile while scrolling. But instead on recent searches, I saw her name. My heart clenched. I clicked on it only to remove it from my search, but it took me to our chat. I did not feel as much as anxiety. I feel calm and was contemplating what to do (block or just leave it be). I decided to let it be. I wasn't meaning to chase. But I guess unconsciousness or ego has its way through me?
Anyway, that was the background. If you have insights for that, I am happy to listen.
But my question was this: I want to show to myself that I want to move on and live my life and have her live her life. So I signed up for a dating app today. But it didn't feel as good as I thought it would. My intuition was against this. My original intention for this was that I was trying to get out of my comfort zone, and to show I am moving forward to myself. That was why I signed up. But if I am still not feeling great to go on dating app, then what does that mean? I want goals to accomplish like a family, children, etc. as i already found my passion. And I do feel it will be with her in the end to share those goals with her (we talked about this before the separation). Even I have intuition she will reach out soon or someday. But I do not want to dwell on waiting. Any thoughts or advice about this?

My co-founder and I were recently successful in acquiring 50 people to the private beta of our new consumer fitness/gaming app FitHero so I figured I'd share what worked for us in case it helps others.
First, a little background...

Fitness can often feel like a grind, with progress taking time to become visible. We wanted to create an app that helps users see and feel improvements, even when they’re not immediately noticeable in real life.
Additionally, we wanted to leverage AI to provide a unique, interactive experience that benefits users’ fitness journeys.
I remember one day at the gym, feeling frustrated with my progress, and thinking, "There has to be a way to make this more fun and engaging."
That's when the idea of battling AI-driven villains as part of a fitness routine really clicked for me.
Actionable Step: Define Your Inspiration and Goal

• Identify the core problem your app solves and how it can uniquely benefit users. Understand the emotional and practical needs of your target audience to ensure your app resonates with them.

Defining Our Target Audience
As someone deeply involved in health and fitness, with notable achievements in CrossFit and a lifelong passion for gaming, I built FitHero for people like me.
This approach ensured that the app met the needs of our initial user base effectively. I figured if it was something I would use and enjoy, there would be others out there just like me.
For consumer-focused startups, especially those being bootstrapped, I believe it’s essential for the founders to be the target audience. It allows you to move MUCH quicker and not be overly concerned with market research.
I tested this assumption by talking to friends at the gym and fellow gamers, asking if they would find an app like this useful and fun.
Actionable Step: Know Your Target Audience

• Build an app that you would use yourself. Leverage your own experiences and preferences to define the initial target audience. Conduct informal research through conversations with friends, family, and community members who share similar interests.

Initially, we needed to validate that the primary engagement loop was, well engaging 🙂.
We started by reaching out to friends in various fitness communities who also had an interest in gaming - literally DMing them and asking them to give our alpha a shot. Here was the message:

I am currently on Day 6 of a 9 day trip with my college graduate son. My biggest stress for the whole trip would be the driving. It has turned out to be the best part. The driving on the left was easy mastered within 5 minutes. Shifting with the left hand was not that bad. Only after a day did I stop instinctively reaching out with my right hand. Even the one lane roads have not been that bad. I was terrified I would meet another car head on. But once I did a few times, we worked out by one of us turning off where we could and we passed. The hardest thing is still the 2 lane roads that are just wide enough for 2 cars. Cars coming at me at 80 kph that I swore were going to hit me. I had my son constantly tell me when I was getting too close to the edge. (There are no shoulders on these roads- just brick walls or hedges inches from your car). Eventually I got more comfortable judging the distance from my car to the center lane and am now more comfortable.
A little background on the trip- we started out with a day and a half in Dublin (plenty of time- glad that was all we scheduled). After the second night we took the bus back to the airport to get the car. Once picked up we hit the motorway and headed to ward Doolin. We stopped for lunch in Athlone and saw the castle- it was the perfect time for a break and gather my nerves after the first driving experience. ( we also stopped by Clonmacnoise before hitting the motorway again. ) the rural roads in County Clare were the most stressful as they were narrow and stone fences everywhere.
After 2 days (including a day out to Aran islands) we drove down to Dingle (take the Kilmer to Talbert ferry route) the scenic views are amazing. Also the roads in county Kerry have been amazing- all seem to be a bit wider ). Today we took the Slea head route around the peninsula- most amazing drive I have ever done. We pulled over every few kilometers to wonder at the view. Also stopped at Dunmore Head for an incredible climb and views.
Tomorrow we head to Portmagee for a Skellig Micheal adventure and a drive through the ring of Kerry.
The thought of driving may be scary but it has made our trip amazing. I also feel like we have so much more time as we never have to wait for a bus or a connection to get to the next place. Also- you have bag storage built in for the whole trip.
