Help! I have been steadily losing 1-2 lbs. week for the last 2 1/2 months. I recently went up to 1ml (mg?) 2 weeks ago and this week I gained 3lbs!
I have had weeks where I didn’t lose any weight when it was my period but I have not gained before.
I am telling myself it must be water retention from salt but I have not really eaten anything that salty.
I know it is irrational but I am SCARED. I was down 20lbs before this 3 lbs gain. I have diabetes and I have not been able to lose weight in years so this medicine has been a godsend. I feel like I have messed THIS up as well as everything else in my life….
Also, since being on Ozempic I seem to be getting a period every 2 weeks despite being on continuous birth control (taking it nonstop so you don’t have a period or only have a few a year) I have read of people being on the pill and getting pregnant while on Ozempic so I am thinking it is just messing with my BC?
Does anyone have any advice? Or even just kind words for me? I am shattered and I know it is an overreaction but I can’t control my feelings

Ik this may sound weird but im close to get the standard banner selector and highly tempted to go for E1 Clara, does reaching 134 to be able to attack twice on skill spamming strategy be dumb?
I assume spamming her skill would also make charging her ultimate faster, and I would still get the benefit of their counters out of turn, but im no expert in this field, and wanted to know if someone had tried it…
Im asking because I probably need to use Hanya for my Clara since TY is tied to my other team, and in 2.3, I may go for Jade adding her next to Clara who would also raise her speed by 30…
What u guys think? I dont really wanna lose the counters, and in theory even if she’s spamming unless is too RNG most of times she will have the agro boost on her….

2024.05.14 16:21 gbarnas Sudden print failure - bed adhesion?

I'm looking for some thoughts on this print problem that suddenly arose yesterday.
For context, I have an X1C with two AMS units. AMS 1 has White, Gray, and Black PLA+ and Bambu Support, AMS 2 has Red, Blue, and Green PLA+. All PLA+ is from SUNLU. Currently using a 0.2mm hot end and a 0.1mm layer height (extra fine). This is a fairly slow print speed of 40mm/s for layer 1 and 60mm/s for other outer walls, 150mm/s inner walls.
I completed a print early in the day of "poker chips" using white, blue, and gray that printed perfectly. I wiped the plate with 99% IPA, then proceeded to print a collection of 5 small objects - HO-Scale details. The job was set up to print "by object" because they were different colors (each a single color) and the number of filament changes would otherwise be excessive. 6 fire hydrants - RED (2X5mm with PLA Support interface layer), 4 vending machines - RED (5X14X3mm), a Tardis - BLUE (12x12x24mm), and 55-gallon drums - BLACK (5x9mm w/ 4mm brim). The red and blue items printed perfectly but the black drums failed miserably with poor adhesion resulting in spaghetti. I cleaned the plate again, modified the project to include only the array of oil drums, and duplicated it. I placed the sets in opposite corners and set one to gray and the other to white, thinking that something was wrong with the black filament (not used in the prior job). I had the same results with the white and cancelled the job before starting the gray. See the photo for the plate and the detail of the drums. Red lines indicate issues. The head was dragging a small clump of spaghetti around while printing which probably removed the bases from the objects center and right side.
What has me wondering is that the white and gray printed perfectly during the prior job, and the same job had no issues with other colors. I also tried my textured PEI plate and had similar results with poor adhesion.
Print temp (based on a temp tower) is 225C, bed is 65C first layer, 55C remaining layers, and no part cooling for first layer. Top glass is open (also tried with top removed), door is closed, cabinet fan is 20%. Both AMS units have 4 Desiccant trays and a hydrometer showing 12% RH and 71F for the AMS over the printer and 12% / 69F for the one on the side. The room is 70F and 47% RH and this is a finished basement room, temp is consistently 68-70F and 45-50% RH.
This job was stopped after layer 4, which means that each of the 25 brims (which look fine) should have the base of the drums like the ones on the left. A few brims show mild poor adhesion but that's because the plate cooled overnight and flexed slightly when removing it to take the picture. The two bases on the top-left are lifting, bottom left has excess filament.

Hi all,
I have a question about IEEE TMI since I am starting to be skeptical about their review process and acceptance criteria. In our lab, my PI began collaborating with two well-known oncologists and radiotherapy researchers. Together, we developed a new method that advances the current "state-of-the-art" for a certain type of cancer radiotherapy planning and submitted it to IEEE TMI back in December.
After two weeks, we received a desk rejection (without an invitation to resubmit), citing a lack of proper benchmarking and a narrow scope.
After several months of work and seeking advice from various experts, we significantly improved the paper. During this process, I realized a few things:

We were referred by the Editorial Board to datasets, current methods, and challenges published solely in IEEE TMI.
The author of the challenge we were referred to was also the winner of that challenge.
The winner of the challenge also had their paper published in IEEE TMI.
The benchmark they referred us to was not entirely appropriate for our research. In fact, we had multiple meetings with the developers/owners of that benchmark before our first submission, and they agreed that our methodology was not 100% compatible with it (reason why we did not do that benchmark in the first submission).

Now, since I really want our paper published in IEEE TMI due to the journal's prestige, we have submitted it to the same journal again. However, I am now questioning the fairness of their review process. Since it is a single-blind review process and my PI does not have any other papers in IEEE TMI, I wonder if our lack of a reputable name in the IEEE TMI community is a factor in the rejection. Additionally, the fact that we were referred to a challenge where the author is also the winner triggered some warnings for me.
Therefore, I would like to ask about your experiences with IEEE TMI. Did you have a hard time publishing there for the first time? Does it get easier once you have more publications with them?

While I'd love to be able to inject and the weight just magically fall off, I know I have to do my part too. First week down of 5 mg and haven't felt much of anything and I'm up 1.5 lbs. I was off 2.5 Zep for about 2 weeks before starting back up with compound so it may just take some time to build back up in my system. I keep telling myself it's a marathon and my time will come.
However, I know I need to lock in on my protein and water intake and get to moving this body more to aid in the process. What has been extremely helpful for you in your journey? From the smallest changes to the largest? I'd love to hear your experience of what lifestyle adjustments really helped you trend that scale downwards.

Hi folks,
Brand new to Mining, still researching ATM, have some questions.
From what I have read so far ASIC mining seems to be the way to go for profitibility etc, I have seen the profit and current per day profits of several machines etc from a few sources.
And of course I have ascertained that the high profit machines cost an arm and a leg and with take the best part of a year if everything goes perfect to break even on the ROI.
And units which could only be making half the profits are stioll 80-90% of the cost of the top teir money makers atm.
So my questions are:

Is there a legitimate period in which you can turn a profit where the hardware costr is not off planet earth, I have seen many retailers asking tens of thousands for these units and others not so much!
Are there legitimate wholesale sellers with whom I can get a good deal on a uniot or two and know that I won't be scammed or going to some of these incredibly expensive websites selling the same units, surely there must be some wholesale sellers with good prices and are 100% legitimate.
DO we know ahead of the game if a particular Algorithm and mining unit is about to explode and make profits, are there ways to determine ahead of time to at least be able to purchase hardware at the right time or the telltale signs dont happen until they happen?
Lastly, any recommendations for prices, markets, hardware, profitability I should be bookmarking to stay ahead of the game as much as possible that I should be monitoring daily etc?

Hi everyone, I'm building a hexblast mine saboteur and followed the maxroll guide so far (here), and I would like to push it a bit further, to farm sanctum mainly. I've seen two variants on poe ninja, the first one is power charge stacking (example screenshot 1), and the other one seems to be life stacking for crit chance through rathpith globe (example screenshot 2), although I don't understand very well the mechanic behind the full build. I struggle a bit to evaluate the budget and pros/cons of each version.
Could someone help me determining which build is more budget-friendly (apart from the mageblood of course)? And which build is more suited for sanctum (and why)? Thanks a lot!

Really not sure what to make of the situation....need some advice. I've blocked out any identifiable information.
I help pay for some expenses but not tuition, the kid tells me he's on a loan.
He asked for $1,600 for a graduation fee, later asked $4,000 for a senior trip fee, I gave have him my card and transactions show as Yale, I don't suspect anything.
I offer to pay for some of his tuition as a gift and he refuses and asks for cash. Very suspicious. I call the bursars office and find out there is no loan, and the kids been on this "needs based" scholarship the entire four years he's been there.
Ask how. She tells me the kid's father finances were not provided to the school because the kid said his dad is in another country and he doesn't know his father's whereabouts. His dad's in $4M penthouse in NY and he lived with his dad for most of college. So, she tells me they used my finances instead. My finances reported are all fraud. I tell her this and she changes her story and says "well it wouldn't matter, since we don't consider step parent's finances". Complete lie. Why would you ask for my finances and why would the kid lie if it didn't matter?
She tells me to talk to financial aid and obviously talks to the lady prior and the lady just tells me "I can't discuss a student's fin aid without the student present" and hangs up the phone. WHAT? Half hour later some guy calls from the school and leaves me a voicemail, I call back and leave him a voicemail. It's been a week and I've not heard back.
Talked to a few friends in the legal field and the advice was the same, this is very serious and I had nothing to do with and I need to clear my name of the situation before the kid tries to pin it on me. Morally speaking, it's certainly not fair for every one that had to pay for tuition. Is there a deans office or someone I can contact?
Is it that easy to defraud the system? Just tell the school you don't know your dad's whereabouts and make low numbers for assets and projected income? Did anyone even look at this? A medical doctor making $60K salary a year?

I see 2 problems :
1) I don't want to see the little qemu monitor on the top left of the screen
2) it does not ping.
The final result is always the same : when I ping the IP address assigned to the vm,it doesn't. But it works when I boot the vm in this way :

2024.05.14 16:20 die_die_man-thing Help adjusting bass pedal

Been playing for like 6-8 months now. I am slowly getting bettee foot technique and having questions about adjusting my bass pedal. Couple quick questions here:
1) On my chain drive yamaha pedal, there is a drum key knob on top of the chain kind of next to the beater tightening knob. What does tightening and loosening my chain knob do?
2) I am getting better at getting sharp clean hits instead of leaving my beater against the head. However, when I am playing faater rhythms, my pedal is still bobbing enough to hit and get sizzle on my head because I feel like I need to be closer to stay on beat. (Example is like a 1 &/ a 3 &, playing that fast I feel like I need to hug my head) I've messed with my spring a bit tighter and looser and this didn't SEEM to be my problem. Is there something I can adjust on my pedal to make it not wobble as much and feel more dead on return, or is this purely a mechanical/technique issue on my part?

I've been trying to get my ketones consistently above 1.5.
I've heard one source even recommend 2.5 or higher for mental health.
I'm wondering how in the world you get your levels thar high without eating a 4:1 or 3:1 ratio keto diet?
I try to eat at least 2:1 but sometimes it isn't enough.
Any recommendations? What are your macros?

2024.05.14 16:19 ArtsyTransGal- Dying Lights, a short cosmic horror story in the form of a list of journal entries.

Entry 1:
It's gone. It's all gone. Jeff was the first to notice, as he was outside the ISS for maintenance work, when he told us we thought he went mad, but, when we looked for ourselves, we saw it; the earth, moon, sun, everything, all gone. Not even a spec of debris, like a quiet rapture. At first we thought we might have gone mad, that the loneliness had finally got to us, but, we soon came to realize that we hadn't gone mad. Now, It's just me, Sarah, Bill, and Jeff, the rest of the crew went home, with their replacements on course to arrive soon…
Entry 2:
Jeff is taking it the worst, and I don't blame him. He had a wife, 3 kids, friends, and now, he doesn't. He’s locked himself in his sleeping quarters, only coming out to eat, drink, exercise, and then he goes right back in. The first few days, all I heard was crashing, screams, and other sounds of chaos coming from there. It's since calmed down though. Sarah is also starting to feel the effects, but focuses on work, trying to find out how to conserve power now that we can't get any more due to the sun vanishing and rendering our solar panels useless.
Entry 3:
Jeff has really gone off the deep end. He keeps rambling about how this is a punishment from God, and how we all must repent. He even tried to attack me once, screaming about how I was “filled with sin” and that I was “nothing but a scourge on us all”. Luckily Bill got him off of me.
Entry 4:
Jeff and Sarah were arguing, with Jeff throwing things at her. None of us intervened for fear of also becoming a target. On even grimmer news, the power beginning to fail, we have enough for a few more days Sarah predicts Entry 5:
He killed her. Aleksandr was the first to find her, or what's left of her. Her chest was sprawled open, with ribs looking like teeth, and her organs were neatly laid out besides her. The walls were coated in strange symbols and religious ramblings about how the quiet rapture came for us, that we all had sinned and must repent if we want to go home again, and it was all written in her blood. We tried to find Jeff, who we assumed could be the only culprit, but we couldn’t find him.
Entry 6:
I awoke to a rustling noise in my room, and saw Jeff staring at me, on all fours like an animal. As soon as he saw me staring, he hissed and left. He was pale and just skin and bones.
Entry 7:
Our oxygen supply is running low due to the electrolysis systems beginning to fail. I don't know how long we have left. God save us,if there is one.
Entry 8:
Bill took the easy way out. I found him hanging on a rope in his room. Light systems are also failing, and I'll be occasionally plunged into darkness. Luckily my exercise machine works, otherwise my muscles would begin to atrophy.
Entry 9: Our my water and food supply is running low, and I occasionally notice that some more than what I ate vanished, probably taken by Jeff.
Entry 10:
Oxygen has run out, so i have to wear a space suit and use its oxygen tank to get by. Jeff has surprisingly not shown up at all.
Entry 11:
Jeff confronted me, surprisingly not in a space suit despite the lack of oxygen. His skin was taut and pale, covered in blotches and blisters. His lips were missing, leaving him a permanent smile. And its eyes were cold and dead, bloodshot from lack of sleep. And right below it's eyes, were stains, as if it's been crying so much it's stained its skin. Itm spoke to me in a voice, whose tone and pitch I could not identify. “You have not yet paid for your sins,and your suffering has not been enough. But you know what you did. Repent now and be spared, or grovel in suffering." I didn't know what to say, what sins could it be talking about? “Wh-what sins..?” I managed to mutter out in shaking breaths. “Don't be stubborn.” it replied coldly. “You know what you did, the innocents you hurt.” my head was spinning, trying to wrap around its words. “I -I don't know what you're talking about..!” I yelled out, surprising myself at my sudden outburst. “Very well.” it said, and the lights in the ship flickered, and when they came back on, it was gone, replaced with the word sinner sprawled across the wall in blood. After a while, I noticed a wetness in my hands, and when I looked down, I saw that they were coated in a crimson red.

I'll be taking this camera to a concert and will probably record for 2 1/2 to 3 hours but I don't know how many batteries I may need.
