Hallo!
Ich hatte vor Kurzem einen Anflug von Nostalgie und wollte mal wieder After Humans spielen. Technic Launcher runtergeladen, Modpack runtergeladen, Spiel gestartet.
Nach einer Weile friert es mir grundsätzlich ein, zusammen mit dem Rest vom Rechner. Ca. 30 - 60 sek später, wenn sich alles wieder gefangen hat, erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung:

Die Anweisung in 0x00007FFF3E0079F9 verwies auf Arbeitsspeicher bei 0x000000044C37FE8C. Der Vorgang written konnte im Arbeitsspeicher nicht durchgeführt werden.

Die Zahlen varriieren.
Ich habe Minecraft im Launcher bereits alle möglichen Mengen an Arbeitsspeicher zur Verfügung gestellt, aber das scheint überhaupt nicht das Problem zu sein. Used Memory bewegt sich immer zwischen 15 und 60%. Allocated Memory hingegen steht immer bei 100%.
Ein Freund sagte mir dazu:

Du weißt ja das ich nicht der Gamer bin aber anhand Deiner Screenshots ist der zugewiesene RAM (Allocated RAM) bei 100%. Das darf sicher nicht so sein, denn wo soll Windows im Hintergrund noch Daten ablegen können?
Ich sende Dir hier mal eine YT_Link der das Problem wohl behebt.

Hat er aber nicht. Ich habe etliche weitere Seiten und YouTube-Videos gefunden, die das Problem auf die eine oder andere Weise lösen sollen, aber die befassen sich alle mit dem Grundspiel, nicht mit Technic-Modpacks. Ein Testversuch mit zur Verfügung gestellten alternativen JVM-Argumenten hat auch nichts gebracht.
Bei anderen Modpacks tritt dieser Fehler übrigens ebenso auf. Beim Grundspiel ohne Mods steht Allocated Memory ebenfalls bei 100%, aber das schmiert mir nicht ab.
Ich will eigentlich einfach nur mal wieder 'ne Runde Minecraft spielen und hoffe, dass hier irgendjemand eine brauchbare Lösung für dieses Problem für mich hat.

Almost same a streaming plattform for TV, Can we meet at 99 SEK a month, i think you would get more subscribers and longlasting subscribers as well

Hello people of PCMR!
Edit: Fixed! Updating the BIOS apparently did the trick, system boots much faster now and no motherboard LEDs are flashing anymore! Big thanks to u/NoBackground6203
So I've just built a new PC to upgrade from my old system and ran into a problem. It was the first time that I've built a PC on my own, for my last system I watched a friend of mine assemble all the parts, trying to memorize as much as I could. Now I've done it all by myself with just some YouTube videos to help me.
So far the System runs just fine, i get a lot higher FPS in comparison to my old system, it's much more quiet and I've done some benchmarks and stresstests to look for any problems under heavy workload.
The situation is that the System takes ages to boot/reboot. We're talking a solid 1,5 - 2,5 min (after i press the power button or reboot via windows) until my mouse and keyboard LEDs start to light up and only shortly after that my monitor will recognize an input. The thing is that the Power LED on my Tower, my RGB RAM and the LEDs on my GPU will start to light up instantly after i press the power button. It just takes ages until it "actually boots". And I've noticed 2 more things:

1. The "CPU" and the "DRAM" LEDs on my mainboard light up right after I press power but will go out again as soon as the PC has actually booted up
2. One of my two case fans (upper side of case) will start to run, then stop, then start running again then stop again and so on and so on. As soon as the system is running all fans are working properly though (they also all get recognized in BIOS)

So now I don't know what to do. As far as I can tell the system otherwise runs just fine, i get no high temperatures from HWInfo, all stresstests have resulted in no problems and I never get any freezes or blackscreens while gaming. The FPS while gaming are also better then I expected, playing Hogwarts Legacy on Ultra Settings (no raytracing) with 140 - 250fps on 3440x1440 resolution so I wouldnt think anything is getting throttled (?). All components are recognized/listed in Task Manager, RAM runs at intended 6000 MHz (XMP activated).
Its just a minor inconvenience for me that the system takes long to boot, but I know that it's not normal since my old system was far less good spec-wise but didnt take longer than maybe 15-20 seks from being fully shut down to the point where you need to put in your personal password. Also the flashing MB LEDs make me kinda nervous. I don't want to "torture" or break any components in the long run by just ignoring the situation.
Any help/ideas would be appreciated, see hardware components down below:

The end goal is to also carry a (small) custom made eGPU, so quite important. Thinness more so than weight, though.

Preferably 13-14”. But 15-15.6” is fine if other requirements are met. 15.6” is all that fits in my backpack.

I will do some light CAD work for 3D-printing in freeCad and/or Fusion360. I also use blender and Premiere somewhat frequently. Never made any hugely demanding video projects though, and i’d have a desktop to rely on for more daunting tasks. Although.. If I could run simple Unreal projects with the egpu that’d be a dream.
I study CS so a good screen (and keyboard), modern CPU and RAM upgradeability are all big plusses.

I’m only going to do light gaming. I don’t want to have to plug into a wall to play my games on the go. If it plays something like frostpunk non-pixelated (yes that’s where the bar is) at ~30 or so fps then I’ll probably be satisfied. A 780M would do me great.
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?
Thunderbolt 4 for the eGPU! Or a good alternative I suppose. I’m open to using extra m.2 slots or removing WiFi modules.
If there is a touchscreen that you can use with a pen that’d also be a big plus! It’f be great for use in blender and for note taking.

I don’t really need a dedicated gpu. I have a desktop and (will have) an eGPU.
I rank form factor so high because I do not wan’t a gaming laptop. I want quiet operation. Arguably as important as the Thunderbolt.
The second reason is I’d like to steer away from macbooks. Unless you have a very convincing arguement…
Thirdly I kind of love the idea of having a tablet or a 2-in-1 machine, but this isn’t a must either.

About the Quenta Accords

Whether it be Nienna being found as Nyx-Ania in Greek Mythology, there's many names of the Ainur to explore.
