I saw someone ask the community to summarize every single thing that happened following Aqua's declaration to make the movie for Ai and ended up summarizing chapter 108 all the way to chapter 130. I didn't do the whole thing becuase I got lazy, but it was a nice, quick refresher that helped me remember some interesting things about this part of the story:
Chapter 108: The Movie "15 Years of Lies" is reintroduced.
Ai's identy reveal makes the twins more famous. Aqua resounds to using everyone around him if he must. Aqua & Ruby are on not on speaking terms. Aqua asks Ichigo to help him hunt down Hikaru. Gotanda continues to work on the script.

Chapter 109: Hikaru Kamiki is fully introduced into the story. Yura speaks about Panda's. Yura is killed. "My life, I can feel its weight now."

Chapter 110: We see a flashback of Ai and Gotanda talking about one of his scripts. Gotanda shares that he wants to "capture the real thing". Ai request Gotanda to film the real her saying he won't be able to use it anyway.

Aqua gives the drafted script to Kaburagi who says only he can produce it. The expected actors are listed. Aqua visits Ai's grave and states that he'll make her "real wish come true."
Chapter 111: Gotanda & Kaburagi start finding funds & investors for the movie. Gotanda calls Kaburagi a "Mammonist".

Chapter 112: Kana graduates Highschool. Ruby shows up and states that "we need to see graduates off with a smile." Gotanda brings up the mysterious DVD's Aqua got from Ai to Ruby, but Ruby doesn't know what he's talking about. Gotanda gets spooked by Ruby who seems to be recreating words he once heard from Ai. He later suggest that the role of Ai go to Ruby.

Chapter 113: Ruby acts. Kaburagi and Gotanda agree she's decent, but Kaburagi wants to use someone like Frill to make more money. Gotanda pouts. Frill is texted about the movie. She talks to Ruby and states that they should decide who gets the lead role amongst themselves. Akane is brought back up as a potential lead role for Ai.

Chapter 114-116: Ruby, Akane, & Frill act out lies. Ruby learns that the role and movie is for Ai.
Chapter 116: Frill states that Aqua is trying to kill his father with the movie. Akane basically forfeits due to feeling awkward. Aqua & Akane talk. She states she'll stop what Aqua's planning. Edgelord Aqua tells her to do it if she can.

Chapter 117: Kana officially announces online that she's leaving B-Komachi. Aqua and Kana have an interesting convo about panda's, and she accepts the role of Nino, the B-Komachi member who hated Ai. Kana gets flustered by edgelord Aqua's words. Aqua laughs and says something ominous about her being exploited if she doesn't "doubt people more".
Ruby is chosen for the role of Ai.

Chapter 118: (Getting a little tired, so I'll probably start shortening stuff going forward) The crow comes cawing & asks aqua what he's thinking about. She expresses that Ai is completly gone and will never be reformed. She tells him to think about the real meaning regarding why he is carrying his soul in his body.
Movie starts production. Ruby continues to receive advice from Kana as she get into the lead role. Kana tells her to rest when she can.
Sarina's mother, Marina, is reintroduced as part of the advertising firm.

Chapter 119: Tenjouji, drunk Gotanda, and Aqua are at a bar. Aqua' judges Marina for being happy after Sarina's death. Kana continues to work with Ruby on her acting. Ruby can't get past the idea of a parent not wanting to love their kid(s).

Chapter 120: Ruby's schedule is packed and she is overwhelmed. Kana takes Ruby on set to watch her act and answers Ruby's question regarding how she acts. Kana says she uses real feelings, both like and hate, and expands upon them or shrinks them down so new emotions can be born. Overall, "understanding yourself and what's inside you" is her answer.
Kana's words make Ruby wonder what kind of person she is. Ghost Sarina appears and says "Mother doesn't love me." Ruby becomes distraught and tries to hold onto the belief that her mother loved her.

Chapter 121: Ruby tries again to visit her mothe Marina's house. She rings the doorbell but doesn't confront her. Crow Girl tells the story of Marina & Sarina. Ruby, seeing her mother smile with new children, comes to the conclusion that her mother never loved her. Aqua see's Ruby crying with the keychain that belonged to Sarina.

Chapter 122: Ruby is still angry at Aqua regarding Ai until he says Sarina's name. Sarina learns Aqua is Gorou & they reunite.

Chapter 123: Ruby sates that she's not a "clean person" and has hateful thoughts. Aqua states that Sarina was more radiante than Ai. Ruby's eyes turn back white. Crow Girl says that Aqua's plan or revenge scene is a failure and calls it a "bad move." Ruby wants to be Aqua/Gorou's wife.

Chapter 124: After the longest, most painful break due to Apex, we return to the story. Ruby is all over Aqua, Kana's grossed out, and Mem takes some viral worthy photos. We learn Miyako is struggling and has a lot on her plate. Aqua tells Miyako not to let Ruby meet with Marina. Miyako goes to a bar and calls Aqua & Ruby her kids while crying before running into Ichigo.

Chapter 125: A shoe is thrown. Miyako's past in the industry is explored as well as the "sparkling" dream she, everyone, & Ichigo held while Ai was alive.

Chapter 126: Ichigo is back. Miyako reshuffles jobs in Strawberry Production. Shun now manages Mem and Arima, but not Ruby. Miyako manages the twins. Ichigo and Ruby talk. Ichigo said he was framed to come to the bar by Aqua. Ruby simps, believing Aqua did it for her sake.
Miyako and Ichigo Talk. Ichigo tells her how he got Ai popular and comes up with a new way to push Ruby's fame and use Kana more effectively. He tells Miyako she's done a good job, but to watch over Aqua who he believes is breaking or already has. Aqua is shown with a white and black star looking somber.

Chapter 127: Kana's Idol graduation is moved to the winter. Aqua & Crow Girl talk about the gods. The Crow mentions how her mother isn't a normal parent. Crow Girl is baited into becoming an actress in the movie.

Chapter 128: Power levels. Everyone from Aqua to Melt, to Frill and Mem-cho meet up to officially do the script reading. The "I can't love you" line (which Aka ends up completly skipping over 😭) is introduced. They question if this is a work of love or hate? Aqua apologizes to his brother. Dress rehearsal as B-Komachi happens and Akane silently simps over Kana
Chapter 129: Acting begins. Akane enjoys her role and toying with Kana/ Nino. Ruby acts for the first time, but somethings missing which Akane and Kana agree is Anger.
Gotanda baits Ruby into performing the right emotion by calling Ai dumb. Ruby begins thinking about Ai and her role more.

Chapter 130: "Good after-Mem!" Mem & Aqua talk about the movie. Aqua reiterates how he'll "use everything he can" and that using everything is his "basic tactic" when trying to ensure quality. Mem asks if she is being used and Aqua says yes which makes her smile. The beginning of Ai's DVD' to Aqua is shown. She request something from Aqua.
Aqua says that he will get it done and for Ai not to worry.

2024.05.08 01:21 tacobellluvr4ever Neighbor won’t leave me and my roommate alone?

I’m not quite sure what sub this could go into, so if anyone has any better recommendations please let me know, and I assumed advice would likely not get and responses so here I am.
My roommate and I (21F, 22F) moved into this apartment last September. Since we’ve moved in, we have a neighbor that lives across from us, let’s call him Jack. We aren’t sure how old he is, however I suspect he must at least be in his 30s. Jack had introduced himself to both of us on separate occasions. My roommate told me he had knocked on the door and said we should have a cup of coco some time.
Anyways, for the following months, Jack would continue to knock on our doors, give us little gifts. For example he gave us some edibles one time saying something like “I know what y’all do but I’m not a snitch and my friends gave me these but I don’t really do that so I thought you’d want them”. Another time, he brought us cookies he made. At first we felt a little bad for him, maybe he was just a socially awkward guy trying to make friends but the behavior persisted and we didn’t reciprocate that behavior. He gave me a one hitter one time when I answered the door, asked me if I wanted to smoke weed with him (I thought he doesn’t do that?) while I was gone during winter break, my roommate said he had given her sparkling wine.
In January, my roommate was gone for a few months and he knocked on the door giving me a movie on DVD that he said he thought my roommate and I would like. I told him we don’t have a dvd player (because most people don’t anymore?) and he said “oh well maybe you could get one”. After January, quite some time had passed without him knocking but from that point on, whenever there would be a knock, I would just ignore him. My roommate is back now and we were sitting and watching tv when we heard jack knock on our door (we know it’s him because we hear his door open and close when we don’t answer). Some time within the next hour, he knocks AGAIN. At this point it’s getting frustrating and we don’t know what we should do. If anyone has any advice I would very much appreciate it.

Every Tuesday I’m going to try and post a Criterion movie on here to discuss. I am going to go in order of spine release and would love to hear from people who have already seen it or are curious to see it.
This week is Spine #135, Rebecca. As of May 7th, 2024 it is unavailable to stream on the Channel, has a Blu-ray and DVD, and laserdisc #98.

130 minutes. Atmosphere. Brooding, romantic, tumultuous atmosphere. This movie is set into motion after the death of a wife at sea. It starts with nature’s tumult taking a life and we spend two hours watching a life thrown to a metaphorical sea and tossed around when she gets in over her head.
Rebecca, funny enough, is not the name of the female lead. Rebecca is the first wife and is the perfect woman. Charming, funny, elegant, beautiful, smart, the perfect wife. Rebecca’s death haunts the de Winter household and the Manderley estate. The former husband, Maxim, meets Joan Fontaine on a ship when he’s trying to escape and mourn the death of his wife. He can’t help but fall for this woman, they marry, and Fontaine becomes the new Mrs. de Winter of Manderley.
Things immediately don’t go well for the new Mrs de Winter. The staff of the house don’t like her because she’s not Rebecca, and they actively try to sabotage her sanity and the marriage to Maxim. There is a lot of very well directed tension between Fontaine and the staff, their disdain is not hidden or obfuscated at all. Quite the opposite, several of the staff either openly dismiss her or intentionally put her in harms way.
But Fontaine is strong, determined. Even when she’s feeling despondent she doesn’t give up. And one sweet thing about this film is that, even in the moment when she’s ready to give up, Maxim is there to convince her he loves her. In fact, he opens up to Fontaine in a moment of vulnerability about some truths which shape the final act of the film. It’s a fascinating twist, both from a story perspective but also in the way it forced me to reconsider everything that had happened to that point. It’s really quite an elegant and masterful script, I loved it.
The ending of Rebecca is particularly incendiary, and caused me reevaluate the film for a third time. Quite a roller coaster of a story, but in the best way possible. I think, all said and done, this is a story about how our own truth can be based on limited information and can often be way off. Ms. Danvers had one truth, Maxim another, Fontaine a third, and the de Winter household even a fourth. No one was acting on complete information until it was too late.
This might possibly jump up to my favorite Hitchcock film. It’s very beautiful, and shows a side of Hitchcock, the filmmaker, that really shows off what he’s capable of. The novel was a perfect story to pull from, and he made a near perfect film.

2024.05.06 07:18 Square-Meringue-3433 ☠️The other side of the bridge☠️

Why is the other side of the bridge and the people that lived there never talked about? I wonder what those people think and know about this whole situation? Well I know between 22-25 people that lived on 625 W and 262 N. when the girls were merdered. They are family. Not close family. And I suspect that one or possibly more of them were part of, god forbid these horrible murders. Just hear me out plz. Everything I say will be first hand knowledge and if I'm speculating, it will be stated as speculating. This young man, lives just down the road from Abby Williams and her mother on 625 W. About .35 of a mile. 625 W. Is the road that turns into KW private drive. Also on this road before you get to KW private drive, you have Mrs. Liberts house, she is the person responsible for young guy sketch. There also is 4 other homes other then the fellow aboves family that lives on 262 N. That is related to him. They all are top tier ride or die for the family. No questions about it. Culty in ways. Since a child I have always had a certain feeling in my gut I never liked, but always were forced to hang with them on occasion. When I was a teen once a year for several years, we would all go camping and stay at this golf course/ Forest with a campground. On Saturday night Us young adults and teens would play flashlight tag, but all of the older men in the family would as well. Looking back on it now, this was almost ritualistic for them to get ready to play. They were freaking pumped. Some were ex military. And they would wear their fatigues, bring and use night vision, climb to the tops of trees and stalk us. They 100% were probably using more military techniques and devices that we were unaware of cuz we were just trying to 💨💨and get away from the adults and they were straight up hunting us like we were not humans. Ok so me knowing more than what I'm speaking about, plus firsthand being hunted by these people several times as a teen, the proximity of where they live in relation to Abby and the bridge, and for reference his house is .4 of a mile from the bridge. Plus obviously he would know that KW is not there in the winter time, that's a nice little bonus tip for a potential killer to have, Plus he has so many family members that live in that community directly by the bridge, it's surrounded by his family so he knows if somebody would see him back there, it would be his family, who is ride or die. ☠️PLUS PLUS PLUS☠️ This is the big one. He's grown up there his whole life, close to two decades. I would feel confident in saying that there is probably nobody at that time, that was going to know that land better than him. Not only the land, the MF bridge. 19 years old, 6'3, handsome, athletic speculation probably a drug user on the DL, side note, I remember one time when I seen him close to 2017. He had one of them huge Vapes like the trick smoke Vapes and was doing tricks, so I'm going to guess he probably was a drug user as well. Anyways he would be the ticket to navigating that land during the day and at night time with no flashlights, because they have night vision. 🤯🤯🤯 As I know for a fact. Hardcore fact. I seen it, and it was used on me. And I know that they have no problem even navigating unknown land at night time let alone land that they have all grown up on, and are ex-military. Not him, the other family members. Another big bonus for a potential group of killers that need to work stealthy, carefully, and undetected. All while probably feeling pretty safe about doing it. So with all that information you can form your own opinion or your own theory, just insert any possibility you think works, or that could happen with this scenario I just laid out. Oh yes, one more big thing, one of the other family members, an older cousin, is the same age as PW, lived in the same town, and was also in the military. Now this is speculation, but I'm going to guess that there is probably a good chance that they both went overseas together. I also know for a fact that my family was blown up and had to come home early and it was in a Kentucky military hospital for an extended amount of time. I also know for a fact that PW was also injured and had to come home early and stayed in a Kentucky military hospital as well for an extended amount of time. Now this is speculation, but I feel like there's probably a good chance that with all of that right there, they've crossed paths at some point and know one another. Ok so Mrs. Libert seen somebody at the mailboxes in their community, which is unusual because the houses are so far back from the mailboxes, the people typically get their mail while they're in their car, but this person was just standing at the mailboxes looking suspicious and she seen him. She did something, got into her truck or something I believe, looked back and he was still there, and seen that she seen him and darted off. I think that was her neighbor aka my family aka young bridge guy trying to sneak his crew, whomever that may be, back there in them woods behind my other family's house to set up shop at their special little tree, and get ready for what was about to happen. And that was earlier in the day 11: 30ish I believe. ybg is friends with LH, and I feel like it's a good possibility that him and lh was having the girls meet them to hang out. It probably went something like this. Lh, Abby's boyfriend, was like hey! Come hang out with me and my friend, you know Abby's neighbor. Me and you can hang out and him and Libby can hang out and party or whatever. And I feel like the girls would have been like. Heck yeah, Will find us a ride and we'll be there in just a little bit. So this is where I have issue figuring out what happened next, I feel like for BH got the call from his crew and they said it's go time, And he left work and had to park somewhere other than the deer Creek community because obviously it'd be an unknown car parking there, however, he had to get to the woods in deer Creek, and the only way he could do that was by crossing the bridge, and he was seen by them by them people walking, and that is where we got the old guy sketch from. I'm not sure who you hear saying down the hill, I feel like it is probably BH, however, when they say down the hill, I believe it's down the hill towards the deer Creek community rather than towards the water and across the creek where they were found. I really don't even want to speculate on what happened to them. However, I guess I'm going to. So I think that they hid them girls out somewhere on that land that technically is kw's. However, she obviously was out of town and it basically was property directly behind my family's home that was not going to be checked and if it was guaranteed there was lookouts and or family members that was going to be giving them a heads up should someone be coming their way. They would have had them girls and themselves gone before anybody even knew what happened, once again because he knew the property he knew what to do. Where to go. So once night fell and all of the searchers left, And nobody had even looked in their direction on that side of the bridge apparently, even though Abby lived over there, they knew they could do whatever it is that they done to them girls all night long with lookouts probably and people watching for anyone coming. And they took their time probably, and they were able to get them girls where they were found, probably with ease. In the darkness of night, with once again their personal guide, night vision and knowledge for doing tactical stuff like that. There's other things that I think could have happened and probably did happen, but I'll keep that to myself for now. Yes, the defense team knows this. We extensively talked, and they were really grateful for the information. Because all these families have different last names, it'd be really hard to make the connection that they're all related. Just so you understand, kind of how they possibly went undetected? Here's a few more facts, he worked at Indiana Packers before the murders happened, if you know what that means, then you know what that means. He immediately after the murders started a job out of state for a couple of years. He's since then has moved back to Delphi. As for why the girls were put where they were, I think it is probably a genius idea to put them there because once they're found, the police and everybody else is probably going to assume whoever done this, for whatever reason, has to be on that side of the bridge. And hopefully won't come sniffing around on the other side of the bridge. And indeed that was the case. It worked for them, should I be right, and it was basically genius cuz nobody has ever even thought of this or considered it to be something that could have happened.

Kudos to Kyra Parsi for not only nabbing the top spot with Failure to Match but having a second book in the top 20 with A Deal With the Bossy Devil. I personally was a fan of her debut romance In Love and War a few years ago so now I definitely need to pick up these other two!
Ultimate GASP: This is the first month that Ruby Dixon did not have a book in the Top 20! She still grabbed the top author spot with 153 mentions (leaving second place Kleypas in the dust with a measly 139), but Ruby has never missed getting into the Top 20 books in the past year.

Her latest victory in Clovis, California, where she sealed the win, enhancing her earnings by a noteworthy $12,753. Furthermore, Johnson secured a second-place finish at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo in Logandale, contributing an additional $6,762 to her winnings. This timeline is derived from Franks Memorandums, Transcript from hearing on Motion to Dismiss, PW's two interviews on SI, Indiana Case Search and my own deep dive into BH's FB.
Excerpt from April 28, 2024 email from Judge Gull to defense Attorney Brad Rozzi:

l am unsure what exactly the defense intends to present. l am quite familiar with the law regarding third party perpetrators and unless the defense can provide a nexus between any alleged third party perpetrators and the charged crimes those allegations are unsupported and will be inadmissible.

Excerpt from Joyner v State:

...our review is guided by the Indiana Rules of Evidence, which were adopted, effective January 1, 1994...Evidence is relevant when it has "any tendency to make the existence of any fact that is of consequence to the determination of the action more probable or less probable than it would be without the evidence." Ind.Evidence Rule 401.
Evidence which tends to show that someone else committed the crime logically makes it less probable that the defendant committed the crime, and thus meets the definition of relevance in Rule 401.

Timeline of Investigation into the Delphi VinlandeOdin "Social Club"

[2/12/17-Most likely there was a Sunday night meeting of Delphi Vinlanders, Probates and wannabes, at PW's home. This is the week following BH's Gothi announcement on FB-he is no longer Gothi or Priest of the Delphi Club, but will be a travelling Gothi/Priest. Given what we know from the Franks Memorandum, JM may have been at this meeting-see below. It's not certain BH was there, but given one of his FB posts that day it seems probable. LH would also attend these meetings with his dad. It was thought that when LH came to Delphi for these Sunday meetings he would also arrange to visit with Abby.]
2/12/17-Abby and Libby on the phone to friends, asked an ex-boyfriend if he wanted to meet them at the High Bridge the next day, as they all had it off from school. It's uncertain if Abby saw or spoke to LH that Sunday. Or if LH had the following Monday off, as well. He attended Logansport High. Also not known is who else the girls spoke with over that entire weekend.
2/13/17-Investigators contact BH regarding missing girls & and his son LH
2/14/17-Girls Found
2/14/17-EF CONFESSES to involvement in the murders to his sister, telling her (from First Franks Memorandum):

...that he was present at the killings and that he (EF) now had “a brother” and was now part of “a gang.”
EF also admitted to a different sister (J) that he had in fact spit on one of the girls. Elvis told J, that he (EF) was on a trail and a bridge with two girls that were killed and that he was going away for a long time.

(EF's sister passed a polygraph.)
[Mid-February 2017 BH and PW have a falling out. BH's wife AH said that the falling out was over a ritual near water, and that PW had expressed an interest in moving beyond animal sacrifice to humans.]

She [AH] said that BH spoke of PW one time when he was intoxicated and said that he and PW got into a fight, and they no longer speak to each other. He told her that he and PW were in the woods, near a river conducting a ritual. One of them said or did something that the other did not agree with and they no longer talk to each other. She said the river was near PW’s house. Note, BH has a Facebook post with him and Patrick together on January 21, 2017.

(PW in his interviews on SI gives a different account of the falling out between the two. He states that he discovered that BH had been attending church on Sunday mornings, and then attending the Vinlander meetings at PW's home, Sunday nights. This, for PW, was a betrayal Heathen practices and Christian faith are, at least in his mind, not compatible. He didn't want anyone in his Social Club to practice Christianity. On and interesting side note, PW said that BH had left his rune making tools at his home, and never returned to retrieve them. This seems odd, as if you viewed BH's FB page, he loved his handmade runes and knives. He posted about them a lot. It's almost as if he was afraid to return to PW's home.)
2/17/17-BH interviewed. Recording destroyed.
2/19/17-PW interviewed at his residence. No recording.
3/1/17-T. Liggett writes "no more leads required for BH"
3/16/17-UNIFIED COMMAND/ Kevin Hammond writes "BH cleared"
3/30/17-Vinlanders/American Guard JM & PW attend a number of Trump Rallies together sporting signs advertising Race War symbols. Though these two will have a falling out, they are clearly still attending events together at this time. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has the photos to prove it.
4/12/17-Civilian RB contacts T. Leazenby regarding disturbing images on BH FB page. One of these photos appears to replicate the Delphi murders. TL ignores this so RB contacts State Police speaks with J.Winters. Winters asks Holeman to re-interview BH. Appears never to have happened.
June of 2017 (From First Franks Memorandum) -

...Jerry Holeman told a different story to Trooper Roland Purdy concerning the conclusions of the Purdue professor Trooper Purdy began assisting with the investigation in March, 2017. However, the first time that Purdy ever even heard the word “Odin” or “Odinite” was “at least May or June” of 2017. It’s also important to note that the first time that Trooper Purdy heard the word “Odin” or “Odinite” wasn’t even through Unified Command or any other law enforcement officer, but rather through BP, who is Libby German’s grandmother. BP, while talking to Trooper Purdy, informed Purdy that Abby Williams had dated BH’s son (LH) and that Logan’s dad was an Odinist named BH. This information interested Purdy who then talked to Holeman, and Holeman told Purdy that they had already run the stick formations and Odin angle through a Purdue professor. Holeman told Purdy that the results from the Purdue professor were “kind of inconclusive.”59 Purdy also believes he was provided “a copy of what Purdue University had provided them.” Upon reviewing that Purdue report, according to Purdy, the Odinite angle was not dead.

February of 2018- EF asks Trooper Murphy if his spit was found on the girls and he could explain it, would he still be in trouble. EF also mimicked images from BH's FB page.

This mimicking is certainly curious. Especially when BH’s son dated Abby Williams and when EF, 125+ miles away, CONFESSED to both of his sisters on two different occasions that he was involved in the murders. This CONFESSION included telling one sister that Abby Williams was a trouble maker and that is why he (EF) used sticks to form horns on Abby’s head, and admitting to another sister that he was in big trouble and going away for a while because he was present when the girls were murdered, and that he spit on the girls. What are the odds that BH’s son is dating Abby Williams, and 125 miles away a fan boy of BH named EF was mimicking BH’s Facebook posts, and that fan boy admitted to being involved in the murders of the girls?

June 2018-Detectives Ferency and Murphy arrive in Rushville to interview EF and are tasked with making a connection between EF, BH & PW. They are assisted by assistant chief of police, Todd Click.
1/30/19-
Todd Click executes search warrant to retrieve one of JM's old phones, that has been located by an ex-girlfriend. This phone has video of JM abducting a drug dealer's pal, until that pal managed to replace 4k of meth that was stolen from JM. Click informs Unified Command that he has this phone, they never retrieve it. Defense now has possession of it.
Also in 2019

In 2019, Unified Command learned that in a totally different conversation with his ex-wife, BH pointed the finger away from himself and directly at Patrick Westfall, as being the person actually responsible for the murders of Abby and Libby. According to police reports, Brad Holder told his ex-wife (AH) that “Westfall and ‘his people’ killed Abigail Williams and Liberty German because one of their mothers was ‘mixing’ with other people outside the mother’s race.” Furthermore, Unified Command was aware that BH had told Amber that “I can only protect you so much if you keep asking questions.” BH further told his ex- wife Amber that PW had many people backing him (PW) up and that PW also had ‘powerful friends.’ Liggett knew of this information for more than three years before Liggett sought a search warrant for Richard Allen’s house, yet Liggett never shared that information with Judge Diener. Additionally, PW provided a very weak alibi as to his whereabouts on February 13, 2017. Westfall told law enforcement that he (Westfall) was at home the afternoon of Monday, February 13, 2017. The Defense is unaware of any search warrant that Liggett sought to enter Westfall’s house or whether Unified Command instructed law enforcement to knock on a single neighbor’s door to verify PW’s alibi.
JM’s ex-girlfriend, TH, told police that JM and PW were like brothers. She also told police that she had allowed JM to borrow her car on or around Valentine’s Day 2017 and that JM drove her car “up there” to hang with his Vinlander friends. When he returned her vehicle, it had dried blood over one side of it. JM refused to discuss the details of how the blood got there. JMr’s ex-girlfriend further stated that it took her several car washes to finally remove the blood. Meanwhile,JM has claimed that he had never, not once in his life, been to Delphi, home of his “brother” PW, and near the home of his other Odinite brother, BH.

JM’s ex-girlfriend also told law enforcement that BH and JM were two of the most violent people she knew and were fully capable of having been involved in the murders. JM’s ex-girlfriend further stated that a motive for their involvement in the murder of Abby and Libby might be the concept of “blood in and blood out”, which means “social acceptance into their secret circles.” All this information was relayed to Liggett and the Unified Command team, yet Unified Command provided no guidance as to what to do to capitalize on this information in order to work toward solving the murders.

Additionally, Unified Command learned that JM’s ex-girlfriend had been listening to and recording JM’s phone calls. Police secured the phone and listened to three phone calls involving JM. In two of those phone calls, JM was “offering money to other people to find someone so they can be injured or killed.” The third call involves JM “bragging about holding a subject hostage and shooting them at his house.”

[JM was arrested four times between 2010 and 2018. The charges against him ranged from his threatening another person with a gun, to possession of meth with possession of a gun as a violent felon. He never went to trial, he would plead guilty to lesser charges. He never served any prison time. He either received probation or home detention. In 2020 he received a sentence reduction from his 2018 conviction.]
2023-
April 28, 2023-Todd Click sends "Odin" report to Carroll County Prosecutor Nick McLeland. Never hears back from McLeland. Instead hears back from Investigator Mullins in August of 2023. An interview is set up, as Click exits the interview he sees BH at the station.
August of 2023-Just before the First Franks Memorandum drops in September of 2023 , BH and PW are interviewed again. Apparently PW also takes a polygraph and is asked for a buccal swab (DNA). PW's son is questioned as to his whereabouts on 2/13/17.
March 18, 2024- Hearing for Motion to Dismiss. Testimony of former assistant chief of police of Rushville, Todd Click, reveals that he and detectives Ferency and Murphy from Terre Haute (both these detectives were part of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force as well as working for the State of Indiana) member were able to make a connection between BH, PW, JM & EF. The connection is made by way of JM's father had lived with EF for a period of time. Click also testifies to EF's confessions and is asked what these investigators did with this information.

A That information was given - of course, myself, Detective Murphy, and Detective Ferency were aware of that information, and I was told by Detective Ferency and Detective Murphy that they were going to try to contact Unified Command to try and obtain a search warrant for the residence of Evis Fields.
Q Okay What happened with that?
A We never heard anything.

BH's ex-wife, AH, was not allowed to testify, but Attorney Baldwin made an offer of proof as to what AH would have testified to, had she been allowed.

If AH were allowed to testify, she would tell you that police, including Jerry Holeman and the other people that were deposed by the defense counsel in August of 2023, have never talked to AH since August of 2023. She would testify that BH talked about 'the Delphi case; that BH told her that he and PW had a falling out over a ritual in the woods near a river because PW wanted to up the ante from animal sacrifices. If AH were allowed to testify, she would tell you that PW, according to BH, committed these crimes, he is protected by powerful people. He would al - she would also testify that she saw on BH's phone girls that he knew that he posed on the ground with sticks, and that she knows are runes from her own heathenism belief system, that were runes on these girls in the form of sticks, and that he had them on his phone and there were multiple photos on his phone; and finally, that she would also testify that Brad Holder knew Abby Williams much better than he told the police, he told her that he met her several times. That is the end of my offer of proof in this witness. Thank you

What investigators apparently never did:

Execute warrants for BH & PWs phones.
Execute any warrants on the homes of any of the Vinlander persons of interest

2024.04.30 22:31 Joshh170 Bethesda Releases Big New Fallout 76 Update

Bethesda released a bulky update of around 20GB for Fallout 76, mainly fixing game bugs. After experiencing a surge in players, Fallout 76's developer is now paying more attention to the game and releasing patches to improve its gameplay and overall experience further.
Fallout 76 is a prequel to the Fallout series and the sole online-only game. The game was released in 2018, receiving mixed reviews from critics and initially selling less than its predecessors, Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas. However, after the Fallout TV series gained traction, all games saw a surge in their player numbers. Fallout 76 marked over 1 million consecutive players, showing that the online game is busier than ever.
This return to success prompted Bethesda to take a closer look at the game and fix various bugs in a new update for Fallout 76. The update is massive, weighing about 20 GB on consoles. The bug fixes are highly varied, from standardizing the status and description of the Father Winter Helmet equipment to fixing the Sins of the Father quest, which could be blocked depending on the player's choice. However, it is not clear whether this update fixes the "Post Player Join Failed" error in Fallout 76.
In addition to bug fixes, the update adds Quality of Life upgrades. Now, there is a Max option when the player buys or sells something to NPCs, the World Activity list will appear alphabetically, the scrollbar in the inventory will behave differently, and weapons will have a new entry called "Ammo per Shot." One of Fallout 76's best weapons, the Cremator, received several tweaks that reduce explosion damage but increase its Damage Over Time.
It wasn't just Fallout 76 that benefited from the success of the Fallout TV series. Fallout 4, the game that most inspired the series, also saw a steep increase in concurrent players. Additionally, Bethesda released a well-timed Fallout 4 next-gen upgrade to further captivate fans. Although the update caused headaches for some fans, especially those with ultra-wide monitors, it was well-received by the general public due to its fast loading times, the option to choose between performance or quality mode, and the addition of new weapons and armor.
With so much buzz surrounding the franchise, fans question when the next game will arrive. The last mainline title was Fallout 76 in 2018, followed by a mobile spinoff in Fallout Shelter. However, Todd Howard commented in 2022 that Fallout 5 would enter production after The Elder Scrolls 6, another title slated for the unforeseeable future. Still, Bethesda seems keen to capitalize on Fallout's rising fame since reports claim it will outsource the production of a new Fallout game to another studio. This practice would speed up the process and allow a new post-apocalyptic RPG to arrive sooner rather than later.
