My team lead is rlly cool and he's a good man, he gets things done and knows what to do in sticky situations, the coaches are nice and understanding, they don't call me on days off, the store lead is nice, the store manager is a cool dude him and I have things in common, did I just get really lucky and get a good management? 2024.05.19 01:59 ThEyArEWAtcHinGYoU69 Well went back to my small-town Walmart Wednesday in hopes of finding any of the new steelbook releases that were released Tuesday in the week instead got a lunatic Walmart electronics employee wanting to fight me.
Saw the same employee who gave me a hard time selling on release day avoided him. Went to the new release section steels still wasn’t out. Saw another employee lingering around the electronics figure I get help from them. Showed her all the steels on my phone she looked up and said had them in stock. She couldn't find it back then ended up finding by register hidden away in a box. I picked out the ones I wanted.
As she was ringing me up I noticed the disgruntled employee catch on and come running towards other employee screaming those aren’t for sale and are released at the end of the month. The other employee was so confused. I had enough called this guy out on his bullshit and asked if he is a scalper or holding for himself. He got so angry I asked that he started to shake and slamming the counter saying I don’t give a fuck about this job I will fight you.
I asked for a manager and finally got one this time explaining everything to him and he smirked and said I'll look into it. I asked if he could sell me the movies and he told me whatever electronics says I agree with so if they said no it's no. Not sure if the manager collects/scalps along with the electronics employee but seems like it. I'm so fucking disgusted with my local Walmart man.

I have got a 2004 turbo pt cruiser. My oil pressure sensor went out and I have to replace it. So far..this has been a complete nightmare. I have done many repairs on this car...but this thing..what the hell man.
I tried removing a bunch of stuff to get to it from the top, i finally tried removing the fuse box, but it has to many wires connected to it and I just simply cant get to it. Had there not been a pointless sheild under the intake manifold I could get at it from there, but again, id have to go under the car to do it. Is there any way to replace this thing without having to go under the damn car, any way at all?
I am trying to avoid doing this from the underside because I have no jack stands, I also do not have any good concrete to put it on if I did. The only other option i have is to get it towed to a mechanic down the road who would do it, but it is a bit too costly for me at the moment.

Fast forward a few years, and the Penguins of Madagascar have grown into a skilled group of elite commandos, partaking in various missions that have taken them all over the world, from New York to Madagascar to Africa to Europe. Over the course of their dangerous careers they have accumulated a wide variety of friends and allies. These range from the residents of the Central Park Zoo to the members of the spy agency North Wind. However they have also made no shortage of enemies, including Hans the Danish puffin, the Red Squirrel and the maniacal Dr. Blowhole.

"Cute and cuddly, boys. Cute and cuddly."Skipper is the leader of the group, devising tactics and gives orders. He is calculating, strict, paranoid, short-tempered, stubborn, and has a great disdain for hippies. Skipper's raving paranoia and tendency to view even the most ordinary activities as a military operation, combined with his experience in covert ops, has driven him to prepare for nearly any situation, no matter how bizarre or unlikely. While his antics do tend to alienate other animals outside of his commando team, more often than not his paranoia is proven justified, as he and his team have saved the world on multiple occasions.

Kowalski
"Okay Kowalski, wow me."Kowalski is the brains of the operation. He is a brilliant inventor, creating a multitude of different inventions and gadgets to help the penguins on their missions. If given enough time, there are few things that he couldn't invent. Unfortunately, most of the time his inventions cause serious trouble for the team, either falling into the wrong hands, turning against Kowalski, or just exploding. Not to mention, despite his intelligence, he cannot read (although he still carries around a clipboard to record drawings of their plans). He tends to over-analyze situations, trying to perfect every minute detail of a plan before he acts. This often causes the team more harm than if he would just act. That being said, he is still an invaluable member of the Penguins. Without him, they would simply be a couple of ordinary penguins that can do flips and karate chop people.

- Creates a device that can stop time, (anyone that is touching the device at the time he activates it will experience the stopped time)
- Builds a mech suit, which he dubs the nexto skeleton, that can fly, shoot missiles, is strong enough to life a large boulder over his head, and can even rebuild lost limbs out of seemingly nothing
- Builds a machine that can clone an exact replica of any living organism, as long as it has their DNA (which he uses to bring a dodo bird back to life)
- Built an anti gravity gun
- Hacks into a traffic light with relative ease
Rico
"B-but that shouldn't have worked! It breaks all known rules of science!"Rico is the group's weapons and explosives specialist who mainly communicates through grunts and squeals. With a stomach that defies reality, Rico swallows a plethora of useful tools and weapons and regurgitates them when needed, including ones that appear to be too large to have been swallowed in the first place. Rico has a few screws loose, so the other Penguins need to keep him on a tight leash lest he lose his mind in a dynamite filled frenzy. That said, Rico's love for explosions and destruction is an asset that Skipper has no problem letting lose on their enemies or any problem that the team may be facing.
"And that's why we call Rico a maverick. He makes his own rules."

Rico is able to regurgitate whatever Skipper needs as long as he has it locked away in his intestines. As soon as an object, weapon, or tool is needed he can produce it almost instantly.

Private
"Private, options."Private is the emotionally sensitive, British-accented rookie of the Penguins of Madagascar. Though younger and less experienced than the other penguins, he is the most down to earth and compassionate. Private tends to offer simpler, more commonsense solutions in response to Skipper and Kowalski's complex strategies, often in an understated tone while those strategies are falling apart. He also has an affinity for unicorns.

Using the Penguins on WWW
While it may vary from episode to episode, the penguins are all around the same ballpark in stats and skill. They're pretty well rounded, being able to withstand blows that damage stone and metal walls and can dish out those same kinds of hits. On top of that, most have dealt with minor esoteric damage types like heat, electricity, and cold. While they're not too crazy speed wise, they're all capable of aim dodging lasers and can avoid slower projectiles like darts. Combine that with their absurd agility and small size and these four will be extremely difficult to hit for opponents that are on their physical level.However, it's the areas outside of physical stats that let the penguins fight above their weight class. They're all capable in close quarters combat, with Skipper being the clear standout (though Rico and Private have both shown to be able to hold their own against him under the right conditions). Rico is a walking armory that will give them access to any weapon in their arsenal at any time, Kowalski has plenty of inventions that most opponents won't have resistances too, and Private's hyper cuteness could certainly catch their opponents off guard.
The best way to beat these four is to split them up and fight them individually. They've shown many times that they are far greater than the sum of their parts, engaging in hit and run tactics or using one of their various haxes to battle opponents above their weight class. Kowalski and Private in particular are vulnerable to losing their composures if things aren't going their way in a fight (though I wouldn't exactly call that a strength for Skipper and Rico either).

I have a twin sister who works with me at walmart. For some backstory, we have an older sister who worked at the exact same store when she was about our age(21), and she was a bit of a problem child, and she ended up hooking up with some guy in his 30s who was a drug dealer or something and was very bad news. this made my dad extremely angry and caused him to have serious trust issues because she continued to do it behind his back after he told her it wasn’t okay. especially because she was still living under his roof. so, when my twin sister and i got a job there, my dad brought up that incident and told us he better NEVER find out that one of us did something stupid like that, especially cause we should know not to since our other sister had done it before and faced the consequences.
now this is what’s currently happening.
One of the higher up managers at our store started last year, and he’s about 10 years older than us. Recently, i’ve noticed that he has been talking with my sister at work a lot more. and by a lot, i mean it’s like every corner i turn, they’ve stopped to talk, and sometimes they’ll be talking nonstop to the point where it interferes with their work. and it’s not just me who’s noticed. it’s almost uncomfortable because everyone around us has noticed it as well, and it’s especially odd because he is a higher member of management. Anyways, after i’ve noticed that they’ve been talking so much at work, i noticed that she started texting someone nonstop on her phone. i know my sister so i know when she’s trying to hide something. i didn’t want to think it was him at first because i’d like to think that he isn’t dumb enough to be texting an associate like that outside of work because it’s extremely inappropriate and he would lose his job. but… sure enough, i was able to figure out it was him she’d been texting. and after i noticed this, the next time we were at work, their interactions were just absolutely weird and uncomfortable to be around. their faces cannot hide it. at this point, im pissed because 1. it’s my twin sister and why isn’t she telling me anything about it, and 2. why is a 30something year old manager trying to start something with my 21 year old sister… and as a twin, that makes me very angry because, of course, i’m always looking out for her, and to me, any 30 something year old man looking for the company of a 21 year old clearly has something wrong with him. that night, we were with our friend, and i went to go to the bathroom in the room over. while i was in there, i heard her whispering to our about him, saying “i’m gonna get myself in trouble”, referring to the fact that he’s a manager at our store. this really hurt me as well because it was obvious that she had. talked to our friend about it, even tho she hadn’t bothered to tell me… her TWIN sister. the day after, my sister and i went out with that same friend, emily, to a bar. we had been there for a few hours, and at about 2:00 (after i had noticed she’d been texting… someone… on her phone half the night), she randomly tells me that she’s been talking to this guy and is it okay if he comes and picks her up. immediately i know what’s going on. so i ask her “who is it?” and she won’t tell me. she says “emily knows” (our friend). and i’m telling her, you are my TWIN SISTER, i am not going to let u get picked up by somebody that i don’t know and u are REFUSING TO TELL ME WHO IT IS at 2am when ur half drunk. and i think that’s a reasonable reacting for ANY sister to have. ESPECIALLY when she’s so set on refusing to tell me who it is. when she realized that i was NEVER going to be okay with it, i could tell she was irritated for the rest of the night. since then, i’ve continued to notice the same behavior with her and both of them at work. it’s also extremely uncomfortable for me because i have to be at work with them and see them act extremely fucking weird, and they have no idea that i’ve caught on because they’re both clearly stupid or something.

hoffe hier ein bisschen Input zu bekommen, weil wir selber nicht so richtig wissen, was wohl die beste Lösung ist.
Folgende Situation:
Mein Auto (Golf 7 1.2 TSI, BJ 2015, 120.000km) wird von mir sehr unregelmäßig bewegt. Verkaufen möchte ich ihn aus Gründen nicht. Ein Freund von mir könnte ein Auto sehr gut gebrauchen derzeit, um zur Arbeit zu pendeln (140km pro Arbeitstag und 1-2x wöchentlich). Deswegen haben wir an die Autoleihe gedacht. Ggf würde es von ihm auch für weitere private Fahrten genutzt werden. Alles in Ordnung für mich.
Idee ist letztlich für ihn günstiger als ein eigenes Auto zu sein und für mich sollte der Unterhalt etwas günstiger werden.
Das ganze drumherum klärt sich eigentlich auch schnell. KFZ-Steuer+TÜV übernehme ich. Versicherung würden wir teilen. Tanken halt so wie es grade passt, aber hauptsächlich fährt ja ohnehin er. Knöllchen etc. übernimmt die jeweilige Partei, Unfall ebenso. Da gibt es ja gute Vordrucke für Leihverträge.
Die spannende Frage bleibt nun bzgl. Verschleiß und Wartung. Pauschal einen fixen Betrag pro Kilometer, der an der nächsten Rechnung mit einfließt? Pauschal Werkstattrechnungen aufteilen, bspw. Kilometeranteilig, erscheint auch irgendwie nicht sinnvoll, weil er ja mit den 120.000 km auf dem Tacho bisher nichts zu tun hat.
Habt ihr einen Vorschlag, wie man das sinnvoll und fair angehen könnte? Vielleicht sogar Erfahrungswerte
Gerne auch Erfahrungswerte zum Golf an sich, wie es so mit Reparaturen im Alter aussieht. Außer üblichem Verschleiß wurde am Auto bislang nichts getauscht. Bekannte 'Mängel' sind die üblichen ölfeuchten Stoßdämpfer und ein fiepender Turbo in bestimmtem Drehzahlbereich (macht er seit mittlerweile > 20tsd km).

Mein Auto (Golf 7 1.2 TSI, BJ 2015, 120.000km) wird von mir sehr unregelmäßig bewegt. Verkaufen möchte ich ihn aus Gründen nicht. Ein Freund von mir könnte ein Auto sehr gut gebrauchen derzeit, um zur Arbeit zu pendeln (140km pro Arbeitstag und 1-2x wöchentlich). Deswegen haben wir an die Autoleihe gedacht. Ggf würde es von ihm auch für weitere private Fahrten genutzt werden. Alles in Ordnung für mich.
Idee ist letztlich für ihn günstiger als ein eigenes Auto zu sein und für mich sollte der Unterhalt etwas günstiger werden.
Das ganze drumherum klärt sich eigentlich auch schnell. KFZ-Steuer+TÜV übernehme ich. Versicherung würden wir teilen. Tanken halt so wie es grade passt, aber hauptsächlich fährt ja ohnehin er. Knöllchen etc. übernimmt die jeweilige Partei, Unfall ebenso. Da gibt es ja gute Vordrucke für Leihverträge.
Die spannende Frage bleibt nun bzgl. Verschleiß und Wartung. Pauschal einen fixen Betrag pro Kilometer, der an der nächsten Rechnung mit einfließt? Pauschal Werkstattrechnungen aufteilen, bspw. Kilometeranteilig, erscheint auch irgendwie nicht sinnvoll, weil er ja mit den 120.000 km auf dem Tacho bisher nichts zu tun hat.
Habt ihr einen Vorschlag, wie man das sinnvoll und fair angehen könnte? Vielleicht sogar Erfahrungswerte
Gerne auch Erfahrungswerte zum Golf an sich, wie es so mit Reparaturen im Alter aussieht. Außer üblichem Verschleiß wurde am Auto bislang nichts getauscht. Bekannte 'Mängel' sind die üblichen ölfeuchten Stoßdämpfer und ein fiepender Turbo in bestimmtem Drehzahlbereich (macht er seit mittlerweile > 20tsd km).
