Hello there everyone, before anything I do have to state that I have to be vague about a lot of this stuff since it is TW as well as legal things so here, we are. Fake Names used
For a little back story, I 20 F then 19 F met my ex-boyfriend 21 M (20 then) in December of 2023. I was renting out a room in a house that wasn't in the safest area but the cheapest rent in the area so I couldn't complain much, but I talked to my landlord who told me I needed to move out by the first week of January of 2024. I had a stable job and almost 1k in savings, so I wasn't to worry about trying to find a place but the area I lived in was way too expensive and most places were denying me. I decide one day that I would go on bumble on the friends and dating part of the app to get connected with people in the area since I didn't have many friends at the time. I met my ex-boyfriend, Jacob. He was engaged and in an open relationship, from what I was told from both parties, it was open long before I met Jacob. I did meet his fiancée Lila, she was about my age only a few weeks older than I was. (20 F).
It was really stupid of me I know but I was also trying to enter my idgaf era, about two days after our first date we hooked up at his place with Lila joining in. After a night of the devil's tango, I asked Jacob if we were together or just FBW since I know that I connect with people to quickly and get attached (childhood Trauma doesn't matter) anyway, he gave me a kiss and smiled, saying that we were dating now. and honestly, I was overjoyed, he promised I could stay with him and Lila until I could find a place for myself, and I was thankful. But I wouldn't be making this post if there wasn't a turn for the worst, He had convinced me many times to call out of work because he needed me and needed help with cleaning. So, I did this ended up costing me my job and slowly I had to eat away at my savings because I didn't have a job. Door Dash became my best friend for money. Fast forward a bit since I don't really know when's the best time to start explaining more.
He landed a job at a Greek food shop about half a mile away from the apartment complex that we were at and he asked if I could drive him to and from work since he didn't have a car, I said sure but he needed to walk or get a bike off of FB marketplace because I couldn't always be his ride to work since I needed to find my own job. He got a bit mad at this because I wouldn't drive him to and from work and he got tired of having to do it, so he stopped working, so three people in an apartment building with almost no way to pay rent. Before people come at me asking why I didn't help with rent that was because when I moved in we agreed that I would help with grocery's, cooking dinners and cleaning the kitchen, and I agreed since I would much rather do dishes then laundry. About another two weeks after this Greek job fail, I landed a job as a nanny for an amazing family and a very adorable five-month-old. I loved this family so much and they were so kind and open and very accepting of everything. It almost felt like my dream job.
Jacob was happy for me to same with Lila and honestly, I thought this was going to be perfect, I didn't know it then but after putting puzzle pieces together I found out that he had well, taken advantage of me, on my birthday to be exact.
After I found this out, I decide to leave for a few days to one of my friends place about two hours away from the apartment, Lila told me she would play devils advice and figure out exactly what was happening because at this point, we both knew we needed to get out of this relationship but didn't know how. So, when I was leaving to go to my friends, he deiced to throw himself on my car preventing me to leave, I rolled down my window, stupid of me I know. I told him that he needed to leave, he started crying saying that he needed me and that he couldn't be alone. I remined him that his soon to be wife was in the apartment and wanted to spend time with him, he said that he couldn't do it alone and couldn't bear the thought of me leaving, I had to call Lila out of the apartment to get him off my car since he was hanging on my car door. After almost forty minutes of me telling him to get off of the car he finally let go and went back into the apartment, I stayed at my friends for about a day before he was blowing up my phone begging me to come back and that he needed me and couldn't go on without me. My friend suggested I stayed a little bit longer at their place but I said no and that I needed to go help him. So I left later that next day and what I came home to was a mess, the apartment trashed and disorganized, my stuff thrown everywhere and messy. We talked about his reaction to it all and he consistently made himself the victim.
He constantly tried to get me pregnant, almost every day he was trying, while I was telling him I didn't want to be tied down for the next 18 or 19 years of my life taking care of something too stupid to care of itself, I couldn't even take care of myself sometimes lmao (I would like kids in the future but I just don't want one at the age of twenty) Eventually Lila and I knew we needed to get out of this relationship since he was becoming more and more toxic demanding that we give him our phones so he could search through them. I denied hard, I believe that your partner shouldn't search through your phone, if you need to use it go ahead if you wish. But I'll be damned if I'm letting someone forcefully going through my phone because of their insecurities. He constantly gaslit us as well as lying about everything and how we were the issue, never him. Manipulation was almost like his superpower. As well as many other things I really don't wish to get into.
Idk when to skip to but after a lot of secretly planning and scheming, my friend in another state agreed to allow us to move into her place to get away from him and to start a new life almost, and honestly so far it's been great. I have a stable job, some new friends and honestly it couldn't be better. I did call the police and filed a report on him, but since he lives in a whole other city than the city it happened in it taking a lot longer than one would hope. But just recently I had this large gut feeling, something I hadn't felt since the night I met Jacob. I ignored it that time and this time I refused to ignore it. So here is where I am asking if AITA. After much self-debate I called his father and told him most about what happened how it happened and not where I am, but I just told him that I am in a safe place. I wasn't expecting much because as a parent of a child who does something like that what would be the right responds.

Looking for some ideas on where to take my family of 4 (two kids aged 1 and 3) for our next holiday, we're based in Perth. Over the years I've accumulated 500k+ QFF points and am keen to use some of these before our youngest turns 2 and we must pay for another seat for him.

Common Questions

If the signed version SOLD OUT, will it restock??

• Sometimes they do a quick restock with cancelled orders but they are usually gone very quickly. Consider checking back every so often.

The website I went to only has a "Random" version option for the album. Can I pick which version I want?

• Not usually. Most sites at least on the Korean side like Withmuu and places are usually pretty good at giving you 1 of each if you order one of each version. They tend to "try" to give you an even amount of each version if you bulk buy. For Target they were bad about giving you duplicate albums for Formula of Love so order at your own risk if you buy multiple copies. Can always go to the store and try to exchange if you get duplicates.

I have been doing PC repair (mainly hardware, new PC builds and malware removal) as a bit of a side gig for over 20 years and the last two days have completely wrecked me. In 22 years I have never been unable to help a customer before now.
A small business (friends) I've been doing work for for a few years started having QB crash with a "Connection Has Been Lost" error starting last Friday when they were trying to do payroll. Somehow the owner was able to get through most of the employees (there are less than 10), but eventually the error prevented him from completing payroll for the week. Keep in mind, the file is stored on the internal SSD on this PC. It doesn't seem to crash when doing things other than specific tasks in Payroll. The easiest way to repeat the issue is to go to the Register and delete a check which does it every single time, even if I make a new check and then try to delete it.

Long story short, I despise software like this for many reasons which I won't get into now, I am fairly proficient with how Windows and DOS applications work, but I do not use Quickbooks myself. Still, I am attempting to help them because I doubt anyone else in our very small town has any more experience with this kind of issue. I helped them install QB 2023 about one year ago, after they had been using 2020.
They have two PCs on a network and the main PC (Office2) hosts the file in multi-user mode and is the system that is used for most of the QB work. All of the troubleshooting steps mentioned were performed on the Host PC with no files being accessed over the network.
I have tried the following:
-Updated QBD Pro Plus 2023 repeatedly (the process was very glitchy) until it somehow managed to show that it was at version R12_17, despite the fact that the website said that R12_15 was the latest. Did this on both systems. Also updated Payroll.
-Ran ALL scans\checks\fixes in Tool Hub and File Doctor many times with varying results. Most notably, the File Doctor says they couldn't fix the company file and to contact support. However, I am able to open the company file and most things work fine except for trying to do certain things in payroll or with checks so it isn't completely corrupted or broken.
-Completely uninstalled all Quickbooks\Intuit programs from both PCs and reinstalled QBD 2023 Pro (Plus) using the download from the website with the license code.
... and this is the kicker:
-Copied the company file from one of the dated backup folders from two weeks ago (a day before the last successful payroll was completed), renamed it, put it in a completely different folder on the desktop... and that has the error now too, despite the problem just starting a week ago.
-Copied that 2 week old (pre-error) company file to the other PC, set that PC to open it in Single User mode, and it STILL goes to "Lost Connection" when doing the exact same thing. Keep in mind, this is on a PC which just had all QB software removed entirely, then freshly reinstalled.
-One thing that baffles me is that the modified dates on the files in the backup folders seemed to update to the current date despite not being opened by QB recently. It's like some part of QB is messing with files in the background, even dated backups!? I opened a folder and watched the modified date change on 2 week old backup file without QB even running! This is possibly the most ludicrous thing I have ever experienced from retail software in nearly 30 years of using PCs.
-Contacted support... went through several of the above steps (again!) with them before they determined I needed speak to a technician. As soon as the "technician" joined, they immediately left the chat and the chat ended.
... much sighing ensued at this point.
Of note: I have also noticed that in Event Viewer there are many many many errors listed for Quickbooks going back to about February. Most of them related to caching issues, and it seems to correlate with the program being closed. The program seems to close very slowly (except when it crashes of course), so that is probably related.
Relevant specs of both systems: Windows 10 i5 10400F 8GB DDR4 NVMe SSD with plenty of free space wired ethernet connection to router\switch
Over the past two days I have worked on this for 8 hours total on-site (mostly waiting for scans, downloads and slow QB operation), and several more at home doing research to try to help these friends of mine.
Looking around here on this subreddit I have just read about using the "Verify Data" and "Rebuild Data" options... for some reason that hadn't come up in any of my searches for this particular problem. I will try those tomorrow, but if anyone else has any suggestions I would love to hear them.
Is there a way to "export" the company data to get it "out" of a corrupted company file? I don't care if it says "hey, this part was corrupted, we couldn't get that..." ... because clearly 90% of the company file is readable and works fine. Anything is better than telling them that if they ever want to pay their employees again they have to dump 15+ years of business records and start over.
Also, for what it's worth, I recall the "Total Transactions" being somewhere in the realm of 250,000, if that matters.

So for background context my boyfriend and I met at the start of university, and have been dating for a little over a month, and talking for a little over three months. I adore this boy so much, and one of the main things that attracted me to him when we first met was his intelligence. He was very smart and told our group of friends that he got a very high score (98) at the end of his final year of highschool (We are in Australia so we get an 'ATAR', and getting 99 or above means you are the top 1% in the state). When he told us we were all amazed because it was really good. I myself had gotten a high score at the end of my final year (96), so to meet someone with a higher score than mine had me head over heels for him.
Anyway over the few weeks of our relationship I've always let him know how amazed I am with how smart he is. He gets the highest grades in all of his uni work, and is definitely one of the smartest people in our cohort. So fast forward to today and I decided I want to stalk my man a little for the lols. I kind of wish I hadn't because tell me why I found the website of his old high school and it said that he had gotten a lower score (92) than what he had told our friend group about. It was still high, but still significantly lower than mine and the initial score he had told us he got.
I know it probably doesn't seem like a big deal, but I just can't believe he would lie about something as small as his final score. I've complimented him on how intelligent I think he is so many times, and how cool it is that he got a 98, but now I realise I've been lied to and I'm literally like what the heck bro. One reason why I think he chose this lie and ran with it is because his entire friend group at his school all got 99s, and maybe he wanted to seem like he fit in with them. And also I feel bad because I've made a joke a few times about how I wouldn't date anyone who got below (95). But like what the heck guys.
I don't know how to feel because if he lied about as something as small as his score, then who knows how many other small things he's lied about. And how do I bring this up to him without directly confronting him because 1. I don't want to seem creepy and he will be like why were you stalking me. 2. I want him to be able to confess it to me himself, because then at least I know he is aware that lying to me about random shit is wrong.
I'm not necessarily angry, just kind of shocked because I realised he could also be lying to me about 50 other things and I would never know. I genuinely love this boy, and I'm sure he has his reasons for lying about it. I just want him to be 100% honest with me. There are other random times I felt like he's lied to me a little as well, like when he says he went out to the shops and multiple random people asked for his number. I don't know, I feel like I am questioning everything he has ever told me now. Help guys. PLEASE. what do I do.
