As a newbie data engineer, I need guidance on how to meet the following requirements using delta files.
Currently, I am using Azure Synapse notebook with spark for my data processing. I have three layers: bronze, silver, and gold. In the bronze layer, we receive raw data in CSV file format. Our pipeline runs daily as a batch load.
The process is as follows:

1. Bronze layer: We receive the source file in CSV format.
2. Silver layer: We convert the file from CSV to delta file format.
3. Gold layer: We perform all necessary transformations and store the final transformed data in the gold layer. From the gold layer, the data is loaded into a serverless SQL pool and created as views, which are then used for business reporting.

Requirement 1: Perform incremental load from silver to gold layer
Currently, once I move my daily batch file from bronze to silver, a single delta file is created. When performing business transformations from silver to gold, I read the entire dataset instead of just the latest batch. Consequently, I do a full load into the gold layer.
I want to change this process so that I read only the most recent data from the silver layer, transform it, and then insert it into the gold layer incrementally.
How can I achieve this incremental load using delta files?
Requirement 2: Handle data deletion in the above process
For example, suppose last Monday's batch load contained 10 records, which were processed and loaded into the gold layer. If the data changes and the source sends a revised Monday file with only 5 records (removing the other 5), I need to update the gold layer accordingly. This means I should keep the 5 new records and delete the 5 obsolete ones from the gold layer.
How can I handle such data deletions in this process?

A lot of us hate Cloud but I am sure that I hate Cloud the most. Sure we all hate up b out of shield spam and limit camping but there is so much more to hate

1. Hurt box shifting on 3/4ths of his attacks makes him annoyingly hard to punish.
2. His Nair instantly denies a perfect circle of airspace around him and sends you at an infuriating angle. Everyone saying this move is bad just because it is smaller than in smash 4 is gaslighting you.
3. His recovery is average. Which is too damn good for a character that absolutely dominates on stage. He should just explode if he gets hit off stage. His airspeed is so damn good and his ledge snap is clean. He can jump in with a forward air which will spike you if you challenge it and he has a really long air dodge if he goes high
4. His dash attack breaks the unspoken rule of "fast swordies have bad dash attacks" yet he is one of the top 3 fastest swordies and his dash attack is fast, huge, hits below ledge and kills.
5. All his best moves come out instantly. Cross slash, up b, up smash, back air, up air. He can mash on reaction so in any direction he can have a huge, fast move ready to ruin your whiff punish that he 100% deserved
6. Cross slash does too much damage and is way too useable for how much damage it does. It is too good in for too many things and it is somehow the only multi hit in the game that perfectly connects 98% of the time.
7. His weight, He is literally the heaviest midweight and a borderline heavyweight which lets him live way too long and get even limit multiple times a stock if he manually charges at all. He has top tier stats in every category.
8. Ledge trapping with limit has zero flaws. His projectile hits stall. He has infinite air speed to spam bair or chase you and he can up b oos to take your stock if he just decides to react.
9. His up air is a giant lingering single hit kill move. You can't even fall out of it like the other lingering up airs in the game and it has less end lag then them all too.

im currently a CS undergrad majoring in mathematical analysis, i've decided when i finish i want to pursue a master of quantumn technology. In Australia you basically have 2 options for this, both of them seem pretty similar but that's what's making me feel torn. The UQ degree is 1.5 years, that degree is known for its really good computer science department and research, they also seem to have pretty good quantumn research too. The other degree is 2 years at ANU, they are known (in Australia at least) for their physics research, and their quantumn research, but not their CS research. ANU is also a heavily research focused university, so their 2 year degree includes a semester long research project.

Hi all, long time lurker here. Looking for views on people in similiar situation as we look to move from our starter home to a longer term /forever home.
Context couple (36m +f) , combined income of 175k (Pre tax) yielding approx 9k take home a month. Currently in a small 3 bed terrace in north London worth 500k with 1 toddler and another one on the way. Equity of 200k in house.
View is to move to our next house which has a larger space (4 bed), space for us to wfh (we both wfh 3/4 days a week) but also for schools for our little ones (public school) as current ones are not the best.
Expenses are currently approx 4.5k a month made up 2.2k mortgage (had to remortgage from 1.5% to 4% this year) ,1.3k childcare then rest on bills, grocery, gym etc
Question to pose is that the upsize in our local area where we have family, friends etc is £1m properties (semi and detached). With current rates this makes mortgages around 4k to 4.5k a month which is a bonkers amount and just under 50% of take home.. ..
Is anyone else in this position where to upsize to the next level it's a crazy cost? Are we bananas to consider such a big mortgage? Staying in current house is getting difficult due to the size and location.
Moving further out is an option but means being away from family, support and overall stability.

After many years of scrimping and saving, I've managed to obtain my very own bottomless money pit apartment on the outskirts of Sydney. So, naturally I believe it's a rite of passage for me to attempt putting up a shelf.
I have two main (of a billion) questions. Firstly, I understand that electrical and plumbing work need to be performed by a licensed tradesperson. I watched one episode of Better Homes and Gardens 22 years ago, and it's always stuck in my memory. Also, the best lamb recipe in the cooking segment - but I digress.

1. I want to put up a shelf in the ensuite. I put on big boy pants and went and bought a drill and seemingly one of every single drill-bit that Bunnings sell. I'm looking forward to cracking my first tile, but I am not looking forward to nicking a pipe or cable, or the ultimate scrotum shriveller - nicking both simultaneously. There is already a towel rack on that wall, so there's hope for my grand plan. What I'd like to know is if there is a resource that's easily understood by a common idiot about building codes and stuff so I might have a general idea of where the pipes are? Such as "all pipes must be installed at XX height from blah blah" so I can avoid calling an emergency wrench wielding crack displayer. I got a good quality stud-finder from the green tin roof temple, but somehow it's tells me everything and nothing is a stud at the same time. The instructions said to place my other hand on the wall, but I don't buy into all that astrology and crystals mumbo jumbo.
2. Many of my power points and light switches are looser than a stool after a sweaty evening session down at the local vindaloo dispensary. I have a feeling the previous owner felt themselves a bit handy and may have grabbed a 10 pack of Shenzhen house igniters from the Reject Shop and whacked them in the walls himself. Going by number of dodgy wall outlets and the empty little bag of drugs I found under the sink on settlement day, it's probably likely that's the case. Is there such a thing as, like, an electrical audit? Can a sparky come in and replace the outlets and tell me that the wiring is safe without having to pull all the gyprock off?

Lastly, is there a reputable way to find good area-local tradies apart from wildly googling and looking at every website that can afford good SEO. My distaste of being stung by service people is only second to that of bees and wasps, and it's happened to me before when I fell for a flashy Squarespace template. I'm happy to reasonably pay for deft hands with tools rather than web design.

I'm bipolar 1 and part of my symptoms is obsession, typically when I'm not stable. It's usually people. In the past few months I've gotten really obsessed with several men, just to come to my senses and basically stop talking to them. I met someone last week and he checks all my boxes. I've been obsessed since then with winning his affection and approval. But he isn't very responsive and it's really fucking with me. I feel rejected. And it sucks. I don't know how much of what I'm feeling is the byproduct of an episode. I haven't been sleeping much. I'm suicidal. And I'm starting to think maybe dating isn't for me right now. I hate feeling this way and it's probably all in my head anyway.

Firstly, I'll let people know about the absolute mess of a journey I have had to uncover an issue regarding my 14900k and 6000MT/s ram speeds. I recently built a new PC and had been having the most niche issue ever, where my PC would crash about a minute into a cold boot (PC being off for about 8+ hours). I spent countless days trying to work it out. The answer was simply XMP mixed with a bit of poor luck when purchasing my 14900k.
Essentially, I was unlucky with the silicon on my 14900k as I was unable to use the XMP profile for my Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) CL36 6000MHz DDR5 RAM (CMK32GX5M2E6000C36 for anyone wondering). For the 14900k I most likely had a weak memory controller.
The issue? You CAN'T claim warranty for these chips as the highest supported speed of ram is 5600MT/s. And anyone who wants to use 6000MT/s could possibly be out of luck... unless
The solution: A custom XMP profile. I used Corsair's ICUE software to replicate the original XMP profile and adjust one option: VDD/VDDQ. My ram voltages were set to 1.4v and setting it to 1.35v seemed to do the trick.
Though I'd post this for anyone who is looking to make a build with a higher frequency ram. Just be careful and know your risks when using XMP. (p.s. the 14900k is a weapon of a CPU)
