I know it’s such a tough time of year for restaurants and every penny makes a different. If you like them I encourage everyone to eat at independent restaurants and support local businesses. Also if you can afford it sharing your recommendations with others can make a big difference!

Chinese 🍜 Loon Fung (Canonmills), The Kweilin (Dundas Street)

2023.08.17 18:45 ComunCoutinho Aesc summer event update

Aesc summer event update
Bond CE
A summer castle
A luxury hotel she built in one night on a tropical island. A villa of the queen, by the queen, and for the queen's spouse.
Its outward appearance is that of a palace on a hill, but behind the hotel, there's a whole private beach. Since the front building is an atrium and there are no walls on the coastal side, the first thing entering a visitor's sight is the vast tropical ocean. It's so beautiful and liberating it can be considered a whole new world detached from reality.
A paradise beyond Paradise, equipped with an oceanic view from all rooms, a 5-star restaurant, a cutting-edge sports gym, a golf course, and a kart track. Morgan's aesthetic sense, pride, and gratitude to her partners given shape.
"Even if it will all disappear when Summer ends―I hope the fact you spent time in Paradise remains in your memories."

That aside, she wasted the magical energy resources she was saving for her state's revitalization on private affairs. When the guardian of the Holy Sword asked "Don't you feel any shame as a queen?", she promptly answered, "Those were necessary expenses."

Aesc the Rain Witch

My Room 9 (if you have Berserker Caster) About Arthuria Caster? Right. I was a brainy fairy, so they must have tried a brawny type next. I see no other way to explain her unladylike mannerisms.

Aesc the Savior

My Room 9 (if you have Cernpriestess) D-did you see that faerie that looks like Cernunnos? Cait Cú Cernpriestess? Never heard this name. Pan-Human History has some really adora... I mean, unusual fae.

Queensuit Morgan

Bond 1 (if beat LB6 and chapter 8 of the event) You're finally here. It's been an awfully long wait, but I won't punish you for it. Come closer. I'll first make you recover from the fatigue of the long journey.
Bond 2 (if beat LB6 and chapter 8 of the event) Is it really that surprising that I bask in the joys of water? My thoughts and appearance may have changed, but I'm still one born in the Inner Sea of the Planet. I excel at swimming in lakes. Heh. I'm not like that Pan-Human Arthuria who can't take a dive.
Bond 3 (if beat LB6 and chapter 8 of the event) There is a lot I must do, but I'm in no hurry. I'll do it all elegantly, leisurely, and on my own time. That's what I built Blisstin for. Quite the amazing building, no?
Bond 4 (if beat LB6 and chapter 8 of the event) You can't get used to royalty-level vacations? I knew that uninhibited extravagance didn't suit your disposition... Fine, you win. I'll accompany your journey. I won't manage to get you to relax unless we save the world first.
Bond 5 (if beat LB6 and chapter 8 of the event) Playing the sovereign was worth the resolve it took. Building such a facility on the tropical isles is a waste of public funds I can find no reasonable excuse for, but it meant something for us. Don't you agree, my [husband:wife]? The memories of this summer belong only to the two of us. I'll file it as a cherished state secret.
My Room 4 (if you have Berserker Caster) You've shown your true colors, Boar of Tintagel. Bunny ears? For shame!
My Room 5 (if you have Arthuria Ruler) I found quite the respectable Heroic Spirit in the pool a while ago. A blond woman. Her chest was a tad excessive, but her clothes and conduct were refined. Must have been quite the famed hero. She said she was the owner of a casino hotel but was there any hotel like this on the island?
My Room 6 (if you beat LB6, chapter 8 of the event, and unlocked Summer Gareth's 3rd Ascension) Gareth is also coming to the beach? As the Lostbelt king, this has nothing to do with me, but I'll watch her, for reference. Let's see... [long pause] Wonderful! She's lovely in a way similar to but distinctively different from Arthuria. All her forms are Holy Lance-class, but my favorite is the 2nd Ascension.
My Room 7 (if you beat chapter 8 of the event and have UDK Barghest) Barghest... I gave her vacations and look at what she does... Her disposition to be of service is beyond me. I'll repay her in earnest later.
My Room 8 (if you beat chapter 8 of the event and have Cernpriestess) I made a royal suite for my daughter, never imagining she'd withdraw to the depths of the forest. That said, it's a good thing that she found a new hobby. I'm no fool to call her home. But! Could you watch her for me? I'm somewhat worried she might take a weird turn.
My Room 9 (if you beat chapter 8 of the event and have Melusine Ondine) Melusine. You seem to have liked this beach, but it's my private beach. Move to Chaldea's beach.

Kodomo No Hi
May 5 was originally known as Tango no sekku , the Japanese equivalent of the Double Fifth which is a holiday celebrated in many Chinese households around the world. In 1948, the government changed the official name to Children’s Day.
However, even though May 5 is officially known as Children’s Day, most Japanese still consider and celebrate the “double fifth” as Boy’s Day while Girl’s Day is celebrated on the “double third” (March 3)."

Hello to all our readers including Traders, Investors, Analysts, and others!!!!
In one way this year so far looks very like last year: the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield has risen by almost exactly the same amount, a little over 0.2 percentage points. In most ways, though, it looks completely different: rather than rewarding rampant speculation, the stock market has been punishing those who bet on fashionable stocks. FedEx appears to have jumped ahead of many competitors to capture increased market share. The U.S. integrated freight and logistics company has added six intercontinental routes in recent months, serving more than 225 flights operating weekly back and forth from the Asia-Pacific region to the U.S. and European markets. StockXpo’s Diversification Strategy
Companies often think about diversification when they reach a certain point in their development. Igor Ansoff identified diversification as one of the four main growth strategies in 1957, and it allows companies to look at other markets or new products to expand their reach and revenue.
Diversification aims to smooth out unsystematic risk occurrences in a portfolio by ensuring that the positive performance of some investments balances out the negative performance of others. Only if the securities in the portfolio are not completely correlated—that is, if they react to market factors differently, frequently in opposing ways—does diversification pay off.
If you are following all strategies and watchlist – here is the recommendation for stockxpo diversification Strategy-
  • SELL(TWI, NXRT, BRDG, WNC, ITRN, RWT, ANDE)
  • HOLD(QDEL, TCS, CAL, CTO, AMN)
  • BUY(F, ARCO, ACI, YSG)

2021.07.04 20:36 tutetibiimperes Nugu Roundup #79 - T-Minus 14:19 - 2107004 + Album Giveaway!

Hello and welcome to the latest Nugu Roundup!
What is this?: This is a bi-weekly feature designed to highlight the unknown/underappreciated groups and soloists working hard in the Kpop world that often fall under the radar. Please share your own information, favorite performance videos, fanmeet stories, or anything else relevant below!
Last roundup we got to know Woo!Ah!. This week let's check out a talented and creative new boy group, let's get to know T1419!
Look at the first comment below for the winner of the 32nd album giveaway plus details on this roundup's album up for grabs!
What is Nugu?: While in Korean it literally means 'Who' in the broader Kpop context it refers to groups that are generally unknown amongst the greater public. It doesn't have to mean they're extremely new, though it can, and there are of course varying degrees of 'unknown' which some groups having very strong niche fandoms and others being almost invisible. I take a fairly broad view and will include groups that may be known to some, but who don't have widespread name recognition.
Let's get on with the show...
________________________________________________________
T1419
Who are they?: T1419 is a 9 member multi-national boy group under MLD Entertainment. The group is also promoted by streaming service NHN Bugs and Sony Music with the plan for them to promote simultaneously in Korea, Japan, and the USA. Their fandom name is Edelweiss.
Company: MLD Entertainment was formed as a subsidiary of Duble Kick Entertainment, a company run by noted producers Duble Sidekick. They are most known for girl group Momoland, but have also recently acquired three smaller companies including one representing resurgent SG Wannabe member Kim Yong Joon.

The group filmed a pre-debut documentary about their experiences which they say made them all feel closer after they watched it together. ________________________________________________________

IN MEMORIAM
TWO X
Who were they?: Two X was a four-five member girl group under J Tune Camp and later Star Gaze Entertainment. With a backronym almost as bad as TEEN TOP's, their name stood for "Top Win One multiplied by 4 (X)".
Company: J Tune Camp was founded by R&B soloist Rain and featured artists such as MBLAQ and MADTOWN. It was later purchased by and absorbed into JYP Entertainment. Star Gaze Entertainment was apparently based in Hong Kong, but further information about them is not available.
Debut: August 16th, 2012 with Double Up (MV) Live Stage (Link) Dance Practice (Link)

Active Between: August 2012 - June 2018
Reasons for Disbanding: Unknown, but their new agency stopped updating the group's fan cafe site and stopped uploading any new content shortly after the release of the group's final comeback and a trip to Hong Kong, leading to the assumption that lack of money for promotions or lack of interest in promotions was the culprit.
YouTube Channel: Two X Official
Trivia: Leader Jiu had participated in an OST with company founder Rain before debut. Member Eunyoung was a former backup dancer and had appeared in MVs for Rain, GD&TOP, Seungri, BIGBANG, Son Dam Bi, 2NE1, and other big name artists prior to debut. Member Minju left the group prior to the Reboot release and began working as a model and then later as a Kakao TV presenter and Twitch streamer.

Also as always, a big shout-out to u/not-named-in-credits for founding nugutown and u/sharnaranwan for continuing the work over there.
