I wanted to share an interesting story that happened to me a few days ago in the world of Tibia. It involves Lady Tenebris, a bit of bad luck, and ultimately, a reminder of the good people in our community.
With Lady Tenebris being boosted, I decided to maximize the opportunity by killing her just after server save (SS) and aiming for another kill before the next SS. Since I work night shifts and finish just an hour before SS, I knew time was tight. So, right after work, I logged into the game on my Surface Go 2 tablet at my workplace. I met up with my organized team, and we successfully took down Lady Tenebris.
After the fight, I quickly packed up my gear, pressing a button to stow my Soulshell armor back into my backpack. I then closed my device, unplugged my mouse dongle, packed my tablet into my real backpack, and headed home. Later, when I logged back into the game on the PC and went to kill more bosses, I noticed my Soulshell armor was missing. It wasn’t in any of my backpacks or my depo. I was puzzled.
Suspecting a bug introduced by a recent update, I asked around in a server Discord group if anyone else had experienced something similar. One member, going by the name Dash Zoomyy(1000+ RP), asked me about the specifics of the armor and if it was imbued. He also asked if I had killed Lady Tenebris that morning. After confirming my responses, he told me he had my armor.
Here's what happened: After I killed the boss and left the fight room, I entered the safe room, where I pressed the power button on my tablet and got kicked from the game a moment later. Sometime later, Dash entered that room and saw a 290 Royal Paladin, Roberto'Pall, standing there with a Soulshell armor laying on the ground. Assuming it was dropped by accident, Dash let Roberto pick it up. Roberto didn't feel good about keeping something that wasn't his and, suspecting that the armor actually belonged to Dash Zoomyy, decided to return it to him. At first, Roberto thought it was just some player disguising himself as the armor with spells. It took him a moment to realize that it was indeed a Best-in-Slot (BiS) armor just laying on the floor.
Despite his guildmates advising him to keep the armor, Roberto felt it was right to give it back. I reached out to thank Roberto for his honesty, as he saved me from losing around 110 million gold coins. Although this might not be a significant amount for many, it was for me, given my playstyle doesn't generate much income, and I had bought the armor for 150 million only thanks to selling Tibia coins.
A few days later, I powered on my tablet again and saw my character still in that small room with the Soulshell armor on the floor. It seems I might have accidentally dragged the armor out while closing my device, likely due to contact between the keyboard and screen.
This experience reminded me that despite the sometimes self-serving nature of online games, there are still good people out there who care about others. Let’s appreciate and cherish these moments and the people who make our community better.

A creep at the gym stares & follows me around at the gym (always finding an equipment closer to mine & the unapologetic leering, not just a passing stare) I used to get annoyed but I've learnt to ignore him. Doesn't come talk to me either. If he did, I could reject him & shoot him down. End of love story but just stares for months on end
My old classmate (guy) joined the gym recently and I was talking to him. But this creep doesn't know he's my friend. When I talk to him, the creep stands really close maybe like two feet away and has even stood beside me way too close, twice making it awkward. He looks at me like he wants me to know hes looking at me.
It's not even just with this guy. Its every time I'm interacting with a guy, he is staring at me strongly as if he wants me to look at him. I can feel his eyes on me when I'm talking to any guy and he watches like a owl, its weird. I'm not flirting with the guys, its just a normal conversation.
Been trying to not make a scene but it's sorta difficult when there are men that are grade A creeps like this. What am I even doing wrong here? What's there to look atb- a girl isn't allowed to interact with any guy other than him? And if she did, you stare them both down, make it awkward for everyone involved? Some ideas of mine to make the game more enjoyable... Hoping the devs will see this!
One, it's still active on the super destroyer. Not a huge problem, it's a small space, and I'm not moving around in there long enough to start getting motion sick. But it would be nice to have it completely disabled there.
Two, I'd like if it was split between enemies, explosions, and player movement. Since many enemies don't make any sounds--and for those players who can't hear them well, or hear at all--it would be great to have the screen shake a little to warn you when something big is nearby sneaking up behind you! Camera shake for things like that don't make me very sick, especially if it's timed up with a titan's slow stomping. Like the T-rex jeep scene in Jurassic Park. I read somewhere that this already exists, but having camera shake turned off because simply moving around causes motion sickness, I've never experienced it. Having a third toggle for explosions is just a little something extra, if possible. Personally, I'd keep explosions off, player movement off, and enemy-presence shaking on.
Please note, I'm not asking for things to be made easier for the sake of making them easier. Maybe not even fair. I work harder to look for samples because I can't hear them, and that's fine--for me. But making the game more enjoyable for people who struggle because of their disabilities, I'm always for.

First off sorry for any spelling errors , i am typeing this on a whim and dont have time to go thru again , i know english i promise . Well where do i even begin with this mess , first lets get roblox jank , gliches , bugs and cheat detection out the way sience thats not up to them . The moderation team fucking sucks at doing their job , if you submit a ticket with proof and all theres about a 90% chance they will decline you without looking at it but its ok , i can deal with that , the biggestthey also abuse their powers (especially in chmie) going in with all kind of unobtainable weapons and enchants , imo that is not ok not to mention those weapons and enchants are absolutely busted , they should be balanced accordingly and made obtainable and while im at it i would like to mention not being able to get lightborn is some real bs , i wish they would maybe hold a tournament between the top 20 chime players that dont have lb or something weekly so that theres an actual way to get it if you work hard , that would be sick but no , they cant spare 30 minutes a week to do something like this for us . And regarding races why the fuck is there no way to reroll races without useing robux ? Like lemme reroll with echos or knowledge at a shrine or something , anything , and also the races are not balanced accordingly and matter very little , they should have tallents that actually change combat , like etreans are suposed to be imune to acid , well thats not the case cuz they cant properly code , they are also meant to get less time on buffs and debuffs , thats also not the case . If it was however for example that would be very cool , you could pull some fun stuff with poison , ignore charm debuffs , not need strong stern or mayne run into a pocket of acid when low but no cause we cant have nice shit can we? Some more boring stuff out the way , the activities like fishing mineing and choping trees have no point as the rewards are not worth the time at all , characters are 1 dimensional and only serve to die or give you something for the sake of progressing plot , the world feels dead , the ai is trash and theres way too much chesse . Balance i wont even commeont on , you know it , i know it , its absolute dogshit and thats not gonna change , they claim to revisit the broken stuff and want to rework it ? Yeah right just like you did to jetstriker , i mean its not bad its much better than before but they missed the silver lineing , fighting jetstriker sucked not only because the opponent could run away , it sucked cuz he could just keep you at mid range , use gale and thunder to poke you down with little counterplay if you are not a mage silentheart or blindseer , guess what ? Thats still a problem . The weapons are extremely unballanced as well and so are the atunements mantras and enchants equipment and everything else , if they cared to fix it it would take well over a month of actual daily balance changes not the bullshit they are doing now . Pvp is curently in a 1 shot meta , chime , guildwars , voidwalking , doesent matter the fight always ends in less than 30 seconds thanks to chesse , the infamous ragdoll into bomb that has no counteplay , potions and assassin builds (dont get me wrong im an assassin build enthusiast myself but they are FAR too busted in this game like wtf) . Pve is boring too , everything is eighter easy or unfair , its all easy except for the ocasional stat sponge like a kyrsgarde gangbang or broodlord that do over 1 bar per hit and have as much hp as duke . Theres nothing fun to do except combat , the world feels dead and so very lackluster and boring , the lore sucks sience its not expanded on , altough a great concept . Now lets talk about vw , as a vw myself i dont think it should take a life when the voidwalker kills you , like you die and lose your stuff but you dont get stained for example , but i dont think it should be the same for when you kill the vw sience then he could just level without consequence , vw should also not be able to take bounties on ppl with more than 3 level diffrence up or down and shouldnt be allowed to do to1 , instead their first 5 bounties give 2 levels each if successful , and they should also get like a damage taken from mobs multiplier till max lvl so that you get dettured from pve , that would be great. also i think u should be able to get the tracking outline beep ocasionally on all bounties , not just voidwalk , like do a quest for it and then get it on the slot .that would not make it go to origin , now regarding origins they all have little going for them atm theres no reason to not pick deluvian for pve and vw for anything else . Also we need more goddamn origins like some that start in layer 2 at lvl 10 and you need to kill chaser or start fort merit at lvl 6 or start in voidsea , meteor isle , hive , stuff like that would be so sick but no instead we get ysleys pyre that has 5 crits and 2 passives that all have the special effect of makeing you want to kill yourself . I could talk about so many more issues like no new luminant , no layer 3 for 2 years or no more lore being dropped but ass of now if they could fix all of this by the end of the year i would be ecstatic and truly greatful , its seems they cant and wont learn , they are leting the flame of this game burn out just like they did to rogue a good bit ago . All it needs is a litlle kindeling wich given how much money they have and how many talented pepole wouldnt turn them down should take them a mere 2 months if even that , but then again ragoozer and archmage dont give a shit. Two months ago there was a domestic canon blast in my building. I (88F) was coming home when I noticed two pirates waiting for the boat. I would've waited for the next one, but we only have two boats, and one was broken. I sailed with the pirates, and I was surprised to see that we all got off on the same harbour--mine. Apparently the disturbance was the boathouse next to mine. I've only lived here for three months, so I don't know any of my neighbours. I didn't think too much of it at the time, and I went into my boathouse and closed the door.
About 12 hours later, I hear a knock at my door. It was one of the pirates that I had sailed with in the boat. He asked me to open the door, but I was hesitant, so I asked if we could just talk through the closed door. He showed me his eye patch through the peep hole to I guess make me feel randier, but that didn't help. He told me that he needed to see my booty(chest) because I might be a witness to what occurred in the boathouse next to mine. I told him that I saw nothing, so I wouldn't be a big help. He told me that either I talk to him now, or I have to go to the pirate Island in the morning, which could take all day. I'm a student. I couldn't take off a whole day to talk about an incident, so I agreed.
He didn't come inside my boathouse. We chatted at my door. He asked me for a wooden leg, so I gave him my walking cane. He wrote down my information (my number as well), and told me that he would be in contact. Two years later I spotted him at my harbour after coming home from class. He asked me how my neighbours were doing, and I said fine, and tried to get into my boathouse. He stopped me and said that he thought he and I had bloodlust the night we met, and he asked me out to go pirate. I told him that I had a first mate (lie) and I sidestepped him into my harbour.
The next day, I get a call from my grandmother(177M). She tells me that a "nice pirate" came by and was asking very personal questions about me. The person she describes sounds exactly like the pirate who asked me out. My walking cane has my grandmother's address. I was living with her before, and I haven't had time to go and change it. At this point I was freaking out. I told her not to talk to him, and not to answer the door if he comes back. Two weeks ago I'm boating home from class, and I jay-boated to get to my houseboat. I hear someone calling my name, so I turn around, and it's the pirate again. He tells me that he could canon blast me for Jay-boating because it's illegal, but he won't if I go pirating with him. I told him again that I have a first mate, but he tells me that my grandmother told him that I was a lone sailor. I told him that it's a new relation-ship, so she wouldn't know. Hey everyone, first post here. I'm in a very difficult situation right now. Me (F23) and my fiance (M26) have been dating long distance for a bit over 3 years now (engaged for 2), and a bit over a year ago he started supporting me financially. Due to a disability, I'm not able to work for long periods of time, but a year ago is when the financial situation started getting worse where I live and so my fiance told me to quit my job since it was causing me great pain and has been supporting me financially ever since. I was hesitant since I not only worked for myself, but also to provide for my family of 6, since the only source of income was mine and my mother's, who gets minimum wage (my siblings are still in school and too young to work), but I trusted him and I quit my job. Everything was fine, he was able to send me money twice a month until a month ago, when he had a mental breakdown and stopped going to work, which resulted in him getting fired. He has been battling with depression for a couple years, but when we started dating it got better (according to him) and now he's back at his lowest point again. I tried to be supportive but I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm angry at him, I hate how much I depend on him and I hate how our relationship doesn't seem like enough motivation for him to go to work. I know that's not how mental illness works, and that ONE person isn't gonna cure your depression, but he has always made it clear that he was gonna make sure I could eat and have a roof over my head since now my wellbeing and my family's was "his responsibility" and that he "wanted to be the provider". But on the other hand, I love him so much and I don't think I could break up with him, since I don't want to hurt him and make his depression worse. It's just that seeing his lack of motivation and ambition is making me rethink things. Plus, seeing my family go hungry and not being able to do anything about it because nobody wants to hire a disabled person just adds to the frustration. It's gotten so bad that I've been having suicidal thoughts, just wanting to make all the worry and the stress go away. What should I do?

we’re both 22M. we’d been together 3 years up until 2 weeks ago.
when we met i’d just got my first job, and i moved out and started renting a flat near to where he lives when we’d been together for 6 months. he was spending so much time at mine i figured what the hell and asked my landlord if he could move in - landlord was fine with it but kept me as the only person on the tenancy agreement.
when my ex moved in he agreed that since he doesn’t have a job, he’ll do more chores than me while job searching, which i thought was fair. except he proceeded to do absolutely no chores, and barely any job searching.
for context - his dad died when he was teenager and his mom started using hard drugs to cope, so since he was a teenager he’s been living with his older sis & brother, the brother’s gf, & his 2 disabled nephews, with 4 borderline feral cats that shit all over their house. it was a 2 bedroom house, and he was sleeping in a cupboard. social services were involved but they let him stay with his older siblings bc he turned 16 during the process. everyone in that household is on benefits, which is fine (my parents claim benefits!), but once i heard one his siblings bragging about disability benefit fraud, my opinion of his family went down quite significantly.
my ex is still re-taking his GCSEs, and job searching is hard with no qualifications, so i figured that after 6 months it was fair enough he hadn’t found a job, despite logically knowing that he’d only applied for a couple and put zero effort into his CV. at this point, i ended up going through all his academic paperwork and getting him to talk me through all his work experience to make him a new & improved CV and but he didn’t use it.
during all of this we had arguments about the fact that he wasn’t actually doing any chores around the flat at all. he claimed he didn’t have time bc he was at college 2 days a week. i called BS bc i was working 40 hours and managing to do every single chore in the flat because of his inaction.
gonna be fr rn - my self esteem was / is pretty low, and while right now i can go “why the fuck did i stay with him”, i genuinely thought he was a nice guy who was at a huge disadvantage and i thought if we stuck together he’d eventually have qualifications & a job, and life would be good 🤦♂️
anyway, our first year together i was made redundant and ended up working 2 low wage christmas temp jobs at once (60 hours/week) to make ends meet. he had nothing to do since college had christmas break, but i was still cooking all the food & doing all the cleaning and tidying.
after that, i managed to land my dream full time job, at an entry level. at the same time, my ex started an “access to work” style course through his college and recently earned 1 of the GCSE qualifications he needs after i helped him revise. a couple months ago the college helped him get into an unpaid internship-style job (2 days a week) that was supposed to last 6 months, and while it sucked it would be smth to add to his CV, and he had nothing better to do.
well, he just got fired from his internship for poor attendance and repeated misuse of sick days.
he still doesn’t really do chores, although if we argue about it he’ll say he’s going to change and do chores for like 2 days before going back to his normal lazy self.
on the flip side, i just got a promotion, which comes with a decent salary for my age group. i’m also about to take some exams for a qualification i’ve been working hard towards for the last year.
2 weeks ago i realised that there’s no world where my ex actually gets off his ass and starts working hard to improve his life without me doing all the work. and even then, is it worth it? my family hates him, my friends want me to break up with him, and in the nicest way possible he has absolutely nothing to offer outside of a cute face.
so i broke up with him. lots of crying, i felt weirdly emotional and sad despite knowing this is the right decision, but ultimately my ex agreed that we’re too different for this to work.
issue is now - he needs to move out.
i’ve offered to help with setting him up on benefits and help put some money towards his costs of moving out, but he hasn’t even looked at places to move to.
his college are having a meeting with him in a couple days to try and help him with accomodations, and for the past few weeks they’ve been helping him to job search, but he’s only applying to jobs when college tutors are literally forcing him to, and he’s only to college when i force him to. i’ve been working from home bc i’m ill at the moment, so thankfully i’ve had the time to wake him up and force him to college, but that can’t continue forever.

I (29F) am a university graduate. I am introverted and anxious around crowds and new people, so I don't even talk much. But, just like any normal university graduate, I know most of the past graduates as well as present undergraduate students in my university. They know I exist, and that's enough for me.
I also have my close set of friends, which includes seniors of mine (previous batches / older than me), my own batchmates, and juniors of mine (new batches / younger than me). I can count all of them with my hands. I talk to them frequently.
The story starts now~
One of the youngest close friends I have is a girl. Let's call her Lily (24F). Lily's batch went on their batch hike in her second year at the university (2022). It's a planned hike that all the batches of our university went in their second year. It's fun and one of the best experiences in our lives.
I gave Lily my university jersey to take with her for the hike. I also gave her a rain-cover for backpacks with the university logo. I just wanted her to have fun. I thought having something related to the university would make her feel happy and belonged in. Boost her morale or something like that. I do have a lot of university t-shirts but only one jersey and one rain-cover. So, those were two of my treasures.
Lily is very close to me so I didn't even hesitate to lend them to her. They went on the hike. Days passed and I didn't think of asking for my stuff as I thought Lily will return them to me someday. She said she'll be very sad if she has to give it away.

A year has passed now. She didn't return it. I want to tell this to my shrink but she thinks I'm selfish and I have a feeling she'll call me selfish again. I still have trauma from that period (2016 - 2017), having nightmares of me getting bullied and waking up scared. He is important to me, so is this jersey. (I was one of the few in the batch who got bullied the most because I didn't speak much).
- It was a jersey printed by a sports club he was a member of.
- I wore the jersey to many events during my university time. Simply, it is connected to most of my university memories. It has sentimental value.
- No other club or society printed that jersey again. They all just printed two generic designs that has been there in the university for ages. The generic designs are owned by almost everyone. I didn't buy them.
- Only a few (around 50, maximum) in the entire university owns this design as far as I know of. None of them are current students of the university. I was proud owning that design myself.

My mom (F65) has always been slightly unstable (not that she would say she is) which is something that has always had an effect on me. This has got worse over the years, specially since I moved out - I moved to a different country in my early 20s and I am now in my early 30s, so it's been 10 years now.
In the past few years I've noticed a decline in her mental health caused by different things. Over Christmas she seemed quite down, often crying about minimal stuff, so I suggested to her she should go talk to a therapist, a friend of mine recommended me one and I told her I'd pay for it, I just want her to be better but also to open her eyes to her situation and what she does. She agreed to it and started going, at first I thought it was ok, but then she'd call me after every session to tell me about it and it all started following the pattern of the therapist says I am a great mom and you don't love me (this is also a recurring topic with her). After one session, she called me to tell me the therapist told her she had to tell me I had to call her every day, I didn't do it and she got annoyed, I told her I wanted to speak with the therapist and she gave me her number (she told me after her first session the therapist would like to eventually talk to me, so this wasn't really out of the blue), all I wanted was to understand why it was all revolving around me. I messaged the therapist and agreed to talk. After just messaging the therapist, my mom would ask me every day whether I had spoken to her, then she started telling me how much money it was costing (I told her I'd give her the money in person when I visited) which I said it was fine, I'd pay for it anyway, and finally she told she was going to quit as the therapist was always 5 minutes late to the session. I never spoke to the therapist in person, but via a few messages, she told me my mom would not engage on anything, the therapist invited her to join some group sessions and she wouldn't do it, she also didn't like the idea of me talking to her and it looks like the therapist was trying to encourage my mom to give me freedom.
I am now so so disappointed, I feel like everything I do to help her doesn't matter because she doesn't want to change and doesn't think there's a problem. I try to set up boundaries but she won't respect them and my dad's only argument is "she's your mom" so I am really alone in this and always end up feel bad. I try to come from a place of compassion, but I think my own mental health is suffering due to this. How ya’all doing with wheel bearings on your rigs?
I put in 30 hours total on my rig in 4 days after work last week just catching up on things I’d been delaying working on, and when I went to take it in for the alignment on Friday buddy hit me with “your wheel bearings on the way out, I can’t do it”. Which got me thinking about the 2 others I’ve swapped (1 used on a parts knuckle and one new pressed in a spare D/S axle) and at first thought I was thinking I’m doing it way too much but in hindsight I don’t think it’s out of the norm. (FWIW I putcase of beer in front of him after he said that and he decided that he could do the alignment, lol)
I’ve got 31” 265/70/r16 wild peaks on mine for about 4 years now, which would no doubt decrease the lifespan of the bearings but I’m fine with that trade off on a 22 year old rig.
How often are you guys swapping out your bearings, any particular patterns you noticed, and do you do it yourself, take it to a shop, or just buy an entire used assembly? At this point on bearing #3 I’m seriously leaning towards just buying a press.
Side note: in searching for a spare knuckle to make things easier for myself, I think over these last couple years most junkyards are getting rid of the 3rd gens because I had a bitch of a time finding anything decent. So if you have the chance to load up on some good condition used parts, do it lol

We as human beings that need to be around other people. We could exist if we ate alone, slept alone, worked alone. But in this great experiment, create the panic and sell the cure. We discovered we needed each other ,we needed human touch, shared emotion, to laugh and cry together. We learn from each other, we live for social interaction. The latest generation is slowing learning, hookups are empty and shallow. Friends are important, and sharing experiences is bonding , to laugh to be scared together in the safe confines of a theater. Socially it is a great thing to do, you share an experience,bond by talking about it after. I see kids to day at dinner together never looking up from their food.as they text and post pictures of what they are eating. They need acceptance . Never realizing the person next to them is who they should be sharing it with. They said theaters were dead when television was in it's infancy. They said it again over and over first with betamax, laserdiscs, VHS, blue ray and each time they were wrong. Well they still are , as streaming services all scramble for your dollars. I see more and more services combine to be able to get your dollars. Theatres should demand longer run times on block buster movies. I know myself I have missed movies important to me, because my schedule restricted me from getting to the big screen. I will not watch a blockbuster movie at home. Too many distractions, in a theatre I have made the commitment, to devote all my attention to what's before me. I have committed to a shared experience. I have before me treats, that I limit myself from having at home . I am there to arouse my sensei's to immerse my self in the experience. AMC is not a dead cat, but a crouching tiger ready to pounce , as people are rediscovering the theatre experience , and AMC is exploring , new money ventures, showing art films, concerts and other thing, Their theatre popcorn expands it's reach monthly, investing in the experience, having restaurant quality foods available. It's offering its own premium candy line. The ability to have adult drinks and cocktails in the safe environment .Ownership in a promising gold mine. Things like Taylor swift and jay Lo's concert films show there are many venue opportunities. They picked the wrong target as Apes, and ants tout the reasons we go to theatre's. This went from a quick money play on their part to a drain on their books. I came for the quick cash and realized along the way how smart of an investment I made. I wait till cell before I sell.

My part-time job is remote and I basically work as a teacher's aid for a language center. I correct assignments but it pays fine. The teacher handles 3 classes in one week. Usually it used to be so that I corrected the assignments of 2 of the classes and another person got the last one (I've been working for the center for a long time, so my employer trusts me with the workload).
This past year, I was supposed to immigrate to Canada so I let the teacher know in advance, but it didn't end up happening. Accordingly he ended up switching mine and the other person's work schedule so now I only have one of the classes. He did this so he could more seamlessly phase me out in case I did immigrate.
However, I'm gonna be in the country for another year and I would really like my old schedule (and pay) back. Given my longer history and reputation with him, how can I politely let him know about this?
