Does anyone else feel as if they’re getting a degree and not making an impact. I think people use these applications and that’s cool. When I compare to my peers studying nursing or forensics I feel as if I should be finding an intersections with the medical field and tech since I don’t find that much joy in making software. Which I fully havent done yet still in my second year of university. It just is not that motivating for sure.

2024.05.14 20:10 veglove Elderly father (81m) - Cipro risks (esp. tendonitis) + exercise + TURP procedure question

I'm writing with a question about my 81m father. We're having a difficult time reaching his urologist or his GP to answer this question. The TL;DR is that we're concerned about the risk of tendonitis for seniors while taking Cipro and want to know if it's ok for him to do low-impact activities/movement classes for seniors or if he should refrain from those while on Cipro. Any other advice you have about preventing risks of side effects while taking Cipro would be appreciated.Details: In preparation for his TURP procedure (which took place yesterday), his urologist prescribed a 7-day course of Ciprofloxacin to clear a catheter-related UTI before the procedure (a culture later revealed the bacteria to be Pseudonomas). The urologist insisted that he take Ciprofloxacin despite the warnings that we've read in the information brochure and elsewhere about higher risks of side effects for people age 60+ such as tendonitis and kidney damage (he is frequently dehydrated despite our prodding him to drink more fluids, although he hasn't been diagnosed with any kidney issues). We are very concerned about these risks and the doctor was a bit dismissive about our concerns.
He has been on it for about a week with no noticeable side effects so far. He had one day left of the 7-day course when he had his procedure yesterday and the procedure went well; he was released from the hospital 2 hours later. They prescribed another 5 day course of Cipro to take after the procedure; they didn't say why, but I'm assuming that it's to make sure that the Pseudonomas infection is fully resolved as well as killing any other harmful bacteria that he may have been exposed to during the procedure. He'll have a catheter in for 5 days following the procedure, and then they will be taking it out and hopefully leaving it out for good once they test his bladder function, which will be a big relief for all of us as he has been using one for 7 months now due to an enlarged prostate & prostate cancer that has so far been controlled with medication & monitored.
So far as I know he doesn't have any other contraindications regarding health history or medications. Going through the list of warnings in the brochure, he's not taking any corticosteroids, antidipressants, nor tizanidine. No history of tendon problems, liver problems, central nervous problems, nerve problems, bronchitis/respiratory illnesses, and recent heart tests show that it's still strong & healthy for his age (he's on statins). No diabetes or blood sugar issues, and no joint problems such as RA.My father does have mild frontotemporal dementia which affects his coordination, so his physical therapist normally has him going to low-impact "silver sneaker" movement classes for seniors, and doing low-impact exercises at home as well. Does he need to refrain from doing these while he is on Cipro due to the higher risk of tendonitis? Out of precaution he hasn't been doing any of these low-impact activities but I'm concerned that it will negatively impact his coordination. I understand he's not supposed to do strenuous exercise or heavy lifting during TURP recovery, but is low-impact movement ok? Would love some advice on whether he should continue to refrain from low-impact activities or if he should continue those to maintain his coordination & balance.
ETA that he has never smoked and rarely drinks alcohol.

2024.05.14 20:08 Productivitytzar There's nothing wrong with me.

Just need to comiserate a little.
I've had chronic back pain from playing the violin since I was seven. Seven! And no one thought to look into that. Parents were dismisive, violin teacher did nothing to work on my posture and setup. Compensating for the back pain fed into chronic wrist tendonitis by age 13. Around that time I developed dizziness that lasted for 4 years straight and now shows up for hours/days/weeks at a time at random. My doctor told me that it's just low blood pressure and to eat more salt. Never ordered any tests.
I'm 27 now and it's hitting me that it's been 20 years of pain, dizziness, and worsening medical anxiety.
My mum was finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia this year, which I believe I have, along with the possibility of POTS. But of course none of my doctors want to diagnose a twenty-something with an old-person-disorder (or something that apprently doesn't exist, according to one of them). My current doc did a single test for POTS and decided to rule it out, but the data was so clearly skewed (long story).
My mum talked me into getting a referal to a rhumatologist. So I did, I went for the blood tests and Xrays and was told today, from a very chipper in-locum doctor, that "Everything's clear! Blood tests were insignificant, no bone spurs in the Xrays."
He had the gall to ask me what was wrong when I immediately started crying.
I feel so stupid for trying to figure out what's wrong with me. Every time I get blood tests back, I have a panic attack in the office because they're always fucking normal. According to everyone in the field of treating pain, there's nothing wrong with me.

2024.05.14 20:02 Overthinker517 Suggestions to try to feel normal again?

Since I can remember, I have had 'stomach' issues, but I always ignored them because maybe I was too stressed or maybe I ate too late. The symptoms would usually last less than 12-20 hours, so I was able to live a relatively normal life.
However, last year (F 24), I started experiencing more severe and persistent issues. After months of constant diarrhea, pain, numerous exams, and lab tests, I was diagnosed with IBS-U.
I have periods, lasting weeks, when I feel okay and can manage the pain with medication. However, I miss the independence I used to have. I'm afraid to travel because I'm scared of eating something that might trigger my symptoms and ruin the entire trip.
I have a doctor, who is amazing, but I want to talk with people who understand my situation.
Do you have any suggestions? Will it ever get better?

2024.05.14 20:00 h0neypuddl3s Rehoming Dogs URGENT

Rehoming Dogs URGENT
TW: animal abuse, animal disease
Hi. I have two dogs that need rehoming. I've tried the AdoptAPet rehoming site, Facebook, shelters, asking people I know, and have gotten absolutely nowhere.
The first is a male named Hades (black and white), he is about 1.5-2 years old and unaltered. He is up to date on vaccines. However, he did test positive for heart worms last year and has been on slow kill medication for five months now. I cannot afford to get him retested. I was given a full year of medication so I would be giving the rest of it with him. He is very sweet but anxious and was abused for about 7 months before I got him. He can be extremely skittish. Due to circumstances beyond my control he is crated most of the time, however I do my best to get him outside and playing and what not. He is okay-ish with other dogs, I can't be totally sure because the dogs he has been around were reactive themselves, but it seemed as though he was never the aggressor.
Second there is a female named Nyx (brindle). She is almost 2 years old; her birthday is sometime in July. She is fixed and also up to date on her vaccines. She is also on the slow kill medication but was only given six months of medication so I have one more month left. She did NOT test positive. She is very energetic and hyper and other than Hades doesn't seem to get along with other animals. She has never really been around children but I would be cautious because of how energetic she is. She does pull a lot on the leash and jumps on people occasionally. She was pretty food aggressive about a year ago but as far as I can tell and have tested she is okay with it now.
They are both on Rachel Ray Nutrish food. I would prefer that they be homed together as they grew up together but I understand this is not always possible and that they each have varying different needs. As long as they are in a place that they are taken care of I don't truly mind for them to be separated. I need to home them quickly as my living situation is changing and I cannot keep them for much longer as well as not being able to afford it anymore. I'm located in Temple, GA.

2024.05.14 19:59 EmeraldRain003 Private Tutor Jobs

I'm moving back to Shanghai for a long while due to family reasons and I'm been lurking on this sub for quite a while. One thing I do see mentioned is how lucrative private English tutoring is. I'm currently working from home at a medical organization (more PT chart/surgery/billing related, not as a Doctonurse) and hope to continue to do so in Shanghai as well (I've already trialed the VPN etc). I know that it's illegal to do private tutor jobs on the side, especially due to visa reasons but that's not a concern for me as I'm a Chinese national with Shanghai registration (was born here). I'm fluent in both Mandarin / Shanghainese and English.
I'm hoping to possibly expand my network and maybe transition to more opportunities and private tutoring seems like an interesting direction for me. While I don't exactly have the background, no teaching experience or certificates, I'm hoping my other skills and the fact that I graduated from a good Uni in USA could help. I also recognize that me not being ethnically white could potentially be a detriment (by how much I'm not sure).
Unfortunately I'm a bit out of the loop on how to garner private tutor jobs as from what I've mostly read on the sub and in chinalife, they are sourced mostly from current students who were already being taught or straight up ESL teaching jobs. I'm hoping someone can give me some tips or insights into how I would tap into the market.
As a side note, I'm also looking into other jobs through the various sites recommended here, especially in the medical field like Jiahui health.
Any help is greatly appreciated and I'm so looking forward to being back in Shanghai. Haven't been back since I was like 5.

2024.05.14 19:58 promisesat5undown Panic attack at work, help.

Trigger warning- I’m panicking too much and on my phone to abbreviate or use code so full words are in this post. I’m so sorry 😞
I’m currently stuck at work for another hour or so and just started panicking. My son (14) had diarrhea yesterday, which is weird because he NEVER gets diarrhea, kid has intestines of steel. He complained of a headache and pain in his stomach that was worse on the left side. I’m a nurse so I made sure it was his left side, not his right because: appendicitis. He said he felt a bit better when bedtime rolled around.
This morning as my wife was getting him ready for school he said he was nauseous so she gave him some Zofran. He’s got a lot of mental health issues and is often nauseous right before school. I’ve gotten used to that as it’s been going on for years and he’s only ever thrown up if he takes his medication on an empty stomach.
This morning though he actually threw up right as he got to school, like in the parking lot. He had breakfast and Zofran so no empty stomach. It’s been causing me anxiety all day and now turned into full blown panic because I’ve started having some right sided pain myself and I can’t leave work. It feels like the pain I get with ovarian cysts/endo but what if I’m wrong this time and he’s sick with something and now I have it since I’m around him all the time.
I hate this. I’m a nurse for crying out loud, a pediatric psych one for that matter. I deal with a lot of throwing up( anxiety, meds, bad periods, migraines) and it doesn’t bug me because I can’t catch those. But I CANNOT handle the possibility of something contagious and all my nurse logic goes out the window.
He’s only had the diarrhea once and thrown up one and not on the same day. Do you think I should worry this is a bug?

2024.05.14 19:56 Loitch470 Anxiety and High Blood Pressure

I’m newly pregnant (4 weeks) and had a quick question. I’ve always been worried about preeclampsia and I think that’s impacting me a bit.
I’ve always had low BP -110-115/70. Today I went in for an odd mole and was worried and got a 126/80. They said it was still normal but offered to retest. I think I got a full adrenaline rush between the first and second test and went up to 138/90. They said they’d disregard that and just put in the first test result. Went home and my levels were back down to 115/70.
As I go in for future appointments and get my blood pressure checked do folks have recommendations for staying calm during tests? I have some medical anxiety and always am a bit on edge in the doctors. I am planning to have home midwives for most care which are integrated into my primary care but of course won’t go forward with that if I have any risk factors. Is spiking blood pressure alone diagnostic for preeclampsia?

2024.05.14 19:54 Special_Rock_5339 I have been trying for years, but everything seems for nothing

I have had issues since I was 16. At first it was mainly fatigue and a constant headache. I went to various doctors for tests but nothing was out of order. When I went to university things got worse. I managed to get trough it and graduate but it was a nightmare. Constant stress ruined my life. During that time I got antidepressants from my doctor and those seemed to work a little bit, but the problem remained. I went to a psychologist. I kept going because I had no other option. last year my mother was diagnosed with cancer and they couldn't save her. Since that, my symptoms got worse, I switched also from medication and have now severe anxiety. I have the feeling that I let everybody down and that everyone expects that I be better. I can't take this no more. I expect that I know everything and that I understand things. But everyday I see as a failure and that destroys me. Has anybody been trough the same and got better? I am now at the point where I am quitting my job to get treatment that maybe helps me but I have no certainties.

2024.05.14 19:54 sarahcarrasco Cat Bite - Hospital or Did I Do Enough To Prevent Infection?

I am a 31 year old female, about 140 lbs. Medications I take are: Lexapro, Seroquel, Ritalin, Gabapentin.
I was bitten and scratched by one of my outdoor cats earlier while trying to break up a fight. I am not worried about rabies as they are vaccinated. I have been hospitalized before for a cat bite infection, the bite went into my finger tendon and I did not wash it for about an hour after I was bitten. That said, I am ultra paranoid and do not want to spend days on an IV drip if I can avoid it.
Here are photos of the wound and here is what I did to care for the wound:
https://imgur.com/6Wre1zH https://imgur.com/WywQGeR https://imgur.com/iLYID7h
Immediately after the bite I came inside and ran hot water over the wound and used Hibiclens surgical scrub to clean it. I made sure the soap was inside the wounds and washed for about 5 minutes straight. Then I used antiseptic wipes to clean it even further, even squeezing the solution into the wounds. Then I used an alcohol prep pad to do one more wipe over everything before covering everything with neosporin. Then I wrapped it in gauze and soft tape to keep it covered. I also took 500mg of amoxicillin since I had a bottle from a dentist appointment I never used.
SO, do I need to go to the hospital or urgent care still?

2024.05.14 19:53 LoansPayDayOnline Payday Loans for Bad Credit

Payday Loans for Bad Credit
Emergency loans are payday loans you use to pay for urgent, unexpected expenses such as medical care or home repairs. These loans are usually funded fast, and lenders can approve consumers with bad credit scores (typically between 550 and 629). Compare payday loans and other ways to get cash if you urgently need funds and have bad credit.
All the lenders in our collection serve borrowers in a hurry (to cover an emergency auto repair, say, or an unexpected medical expense), and who have poor credit. We've included credit unions in the mix, because they are often the most consumer friendly, and you'll also find lenders with the most relaxed credit requirements (if not the most affordable rates).
Payday Loans for bad credit are the same as the Payday Loans you can apply for in person. You can get the same amount of money and receive it via direct deposit just as quickly, making online Payday Loans for bad credit a solid loan option.

Best Emergency Loans for Bad Credit: Compare Options for May 2024

Payday Loans for Bad Credit

Did you know you may be able to get a Payday Loan with bad credit? In fact, Payday Loans are a viable option for people with all types of credit histories. Unlike most financial solutions, Payday Loans don’t solely rely on your credit score and consider other factors like your income and employment.

Payday Loans also have other benefits. You typically get the loan funds fast and can use the money for whatever you need.

Let’s dive deeper into Payday Loan options for people with bad or poor credit, what you can expect if you pursue one, and how to apply for a Payday Loan online.
What is a Payday Loan for bad credit?
A Payday Loan is designed to provide you with extra cash to hold you over until your next payday. This could make a Payday Loan for bad credit a good option for covering an emergency expense, like a car repair or medical bill, or simply paying for everyday essentials when money is tight.

How do Payday Loans for bad credit work?
When you take out a Payday Loan, the amount you borrow is typically based on a portion of your expected paycheck – usually a couple hundred dollars or less. You then use the money for what you need and repay the loan in full on your next payday, which is usually within two to four weeks.
Many payday lenders have less strict credit score requirements than banks and credit unions, so they rely on factors like your income and employment history when making their approval decision. This means you may still get approved for a Payday Loan without having good credit.
  • Easy application - Payday Loans often come with easy applications that borrowers can complete online or in-store. In fact, you may be able to apply in just a few minutes from the comfort of home.
  • Quick approval - Once you apply for a Payday Loan, you should receive an instant or quick approval decision. Funding times vary by lender.
  • Good credit not needed - Bad credit, good credit, or no credit history at all; it doesn’t matter when you apply for a Payday Loan. Instead, payday lenders consider your ability to repay the loan on your next payday, which means looking at your anticipated income and employment history. This means you may still get approved even if you have bad credit.

Pay your bills on time

Even one late payment can ding your credit. Focus on paying all your bills on time, including your mortgage, utilities, auto loans, and credit cards.
If you struggle to remember your payment dates, enroll in automatic payments or set calendar reminders on your phone so you don’t forget and miss a payment.

How to Choose the Best Emergency Loan

When choosing an emergency loan for bad credit, some factors to consider include how much the loan will cost, the repayment terms you can get (which will determine your monthly payment), and how quickly you can apply and get funded.
  • How much the emergency loan will cost: The cost of an emergency loan is made up of the interest rate you’re charged and the fees you’ll pay to get the loan. A loan’s annual percentage rate (APR) represents the sum of these two costs as an annual percentage of the amount borrowed. You should always consider lenders offering the lowest APR.
  • What repayment terms you can get on the loan: Before choosing a lender, ensure it offers a repayment timeline that fits your budget. Shorter repayment terms will result in larger payments since you’ll pay off the loan more quickly. This means you’ll also end up paying less interest over time. Look for a lender that offers the shortest repayment term you can comfortably afford.
  • How quickly you can apply and get funded: It’s also important to evaluate how easy it is to apply for the loan and how quickly you’ll get funded. These two factors are often related since lenders that offer an easy online application process may also offer fast funding. Many of the best lenders offer approval in minutes and funding in as few as one to three business days (sometimes even the same day).

2024.05.14 19:53 kappakingtut2 What do you know about fiber? Any basic tips or advice?

So I've had IBSD for literally as long as I can remember. I don't feel like putting in the effort to type out my entire medical history here but I'll lay out some of the more important bits.
I've had the colonoscopy and the breath tests and blood tests and pretty much all the tests except for endoscopy.
I've tried variations of the elimination diet multiple times. I cut out meat over a decade ago. Cut out dairy about 7 years ago. I'm vegan. And as of the last few months I've been avoiding nightshades the best I can. And for a good long while now, not sure how long But less than a year, I've been avoiding leafy greens. Let us and spinach and arugula and such.
I still haven't figured out exactly what my triggers are. Feels like everything's a trigger.
But recently I had a good day. And then a couple days after that another good one. And the only thing I can think of I did differently was that I took a chance and I tried lettuce again.
So it's got to be the fiber in the lettuce right? Or is there some other ingredient in it that would help? Or is it purely coincidental? I've always thought I had a bad reaction to leafy greens before. But I'm realizing now that I've always had it with other things before. Maybe I've had a bad reaction after a salad and it blamed the lettuce, but really the culprit was the tomatoes? Or like having a sandwich or burger, I'd get lettuce and tomato together. Maybe I was blaming the wrong food for the problem.
I'm going to slowly and cautiously keep adding more leafy greens back into my diet. I just wanted to know am I wrong? Am I on the right track? Is there other ways to get fiber besides lettuce? Cuz I know there's different types of fiber. I've tried the psyllium husk powder supplement to some small degree of success. Anything else?

However, I have a consistent back and lower rib pain only on left. It has been going on for months... It feels like I have to twist and pop the rib and it is going to helal magically. I have no shortness of breath, blood tests are also all clear.
Any ideas? My recent x-ray is here: https://imgur.com/a/HHO2sJ7

2024.05.14 19:47 Randomuser9980 ER missed a compression fracture in my spine

As title says, the ER I had went to missed a compression fracture in my spine.
I had fallen off of a horse when I went to get on and the trainer adjusted the girth harshly at the same time (for those who ride horses, you may know how much of a big no that is) and the horse bolted, so I had to let go of the saddle and landed on my left hip and my body twisted. Cue, extreme amounts of pain and nearly blacking out when I’d walk. I had went to the ER and got x rays, where they said I had a bone contusion (bruising of the bone basically).
Yeah, no. It wasn’t. For the past 2 months, I’ve been having major discomfort and sometimes pain in my lower back. I’ve continued to ride horses and it doesn’t hurt when I do, and I work at a hospital where half of my shifts is as a nursing assistant, so I’ve been lifting patients, walking for long periods of time, bending over, etc. I finally went to a provider about my back and got x rays done again, and there is a compression fracture. My provider called me right when she got the report and looked at them, saying to stop horse riding and to be extremely cautious until I can see an orthopedic as I should’ve been in a back brace and probably off duty from work to begin with to let it heal.
So that’s fun. Told my boss and he’s being a major ass over it, as if it was my fault. I didn’t know. I was told by medical professionals that none of my bones were fractured or broken. But it is funny because a woman who was a patient of mine when it happened, had a fracture missed in her hips by doctors and it caused chronic pain. I was so worried that would be me and something would be missed, just to find out I wasn’t wrong 😂
That’s it, I wanted to let it out and rant. I have to wait for an orthopedic and after all of this, I’ve begun to be more aware of just how much discomfort my lower back is in all the time. I should’ve gotten it checked sooner.

2024.05.14 19:46 LiteratureExtreme515 Neuro appt next week, suggestions?

LSS, I have spent the last 2 years trying to figure out the source of my daily dizziness. Had MRI, CT, VNG, hearing tests etc. MRI, CT, hearing is all normal, VNG showed hypofunction in my left ear at the time (this will be repeated in a few months to see if it was due to a recent ear infection at the time, or has been sustained this entire time) Anyways, my otologist has landed on VM and referred me to a Neuro migraine specialist. I have some migraines, mostly menstrual cycle related, but my dizziness is what I need to treat the most. I can live with the migraines after experiencing feeling horribly dizzy every single day. Going into this appointment, what do I need to push/advocate for? I know medication efficency varies for everyone, but anything in particular that has helped the dizziness the most? Beta blockers are my only no-go because my HR is already low sometimes. Any tips or suggestions with medications or treatment to inquire about is appreciated.

2024.05.14 19:44 acezippy My experience on Lexapro and coming off of it.

DISCLAIMER: YOU SHOULD NOT STOP LEXAPRO COLD TURKEY. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR FIRST.
I started 10 mg of Lexapro back in June of 2023. I was working a really high stress job and it was causing me all sorts of problems with anxiety. I was "managing it" and by that I mean not doing anything about it and letting it destroy me mentally and physically lol. So my doc prescribed me Lexapro and I started it.
Lexapro REALLY REALLY helped. I stayed at 10mg the entire time I was on it. It made all my anxieties feel a lot smaller, and easier to manage. I can describe it as "taking the edge off" of my life. I didn't experience any weird side effects going onto it and I was fine on it for a long time.
So between about October of 2023 and now, I have experienced DRAMATIC and FAST weight gain. When I started Lex I was fluctuating around 140-150 pounds, and suddenly today I am 190 pounds. I have dark stretch marks on my arms near my armpits, on my belly, and really dark stretch marks on my thighs going all the way down PAST my knees that seem to have shown up over night and I’m starting to get them on my breasts and butt now too.
There weren't any other external factors that I believe caused my weight gain (except for the fact that I was obviously a little less active in the winter but nothing that caused me to gain 40 pounds that quickly).
I started to get extremely depressed about my body and the stretch marks. After talking to my doctor and doing my own research plus a blood test it seemed that my weight gain was likely related to the medication.
I decided on my own that I would quit cold turkey since I no longer worked at the stressful job, and wanted to see if I could get off it and see how it affected my weight and also if I still even needed it since a lot of the anxiety was removed from my life. (YES, THIS IS STUPID, DO NOT DO THIS) but I wanted to share my experience. I decided to log daily about what I noticed after quitting cold turkey on May 1st.
Day 1: - felt completely normal
Day 2: - Had weird euphoric feelings? Mania maybe? - Weird nightmares - No physical symptoms
Day 3: - felt slightly nauseous - weird dreams
Day 4: - I thought I was having vertigo but now I think it was brain zaps - about a 3/10 on the "nausea" scale that would come and go - weird dreams
Day 5: - felt pretty normal this day except for weird dreams
Day 6: - lasting dull headache (could be unrelated) - 3/10 nausea on and off - dizziness - brain zaps - appetite changes (I felt hungry but the thought of food made me nauseous) - felt kind of like I had the flu - night sweats - weirdly enough I've been sleeping BETTER I've noticed since coming off it despite the nightmares
Day 7: - No negative emotional changes noticed thus far, I kind of actually feel a bit better? Like I can feel my emotions more? - headache - nausea - night sweats - nightmares
Day 8: - Slept really good again minus being super sweaty and having nightmares (the quality of my sleep felt really restful when I woke up) - This was the first day I noticed a bit of creeping depression for seemingly no reason - brain zaps - dizziness - nausea - headache
Day 9: - nausea - dizziness - brain zaps - irritability (but my period will also be starting in about a week or so which could be a factor here)
Day 10: - Another restful sleep - brain zaps - dizziness
Day 11: - felt really depressed today, first time in a long time and can't really place why. - nausea - fatigue - dizziness - brain zaps
Day 12 to now have all been pretty much the same with: - fatigue - night sweats - dizziness - slight nausea - the brain zaps are REALLY starting to get to me.
Personal Takeaways: - Talk to your doctor and TAPER OFF. I'm sure the nausea/dizziness and brain zaps would be a lot better if I would have done so. - As someone recovering from an eating disorder as well, gaining a little weight should not be the sole reason you go off your medication if it is helping you. Really think about what is important!! If I was still working that stressful job I would NOT have done this because I truly needed it at the time. I am working a much less stressful job now so I figured I could see if I even still needed it or not. - There has been no change in my weight yet, it's only been 2 weeks. I am not expecting the weight to just fall off or anything. If I happen to lose a notable amount of weight I will come back with an update.

2024.05.14 19:43 lencast No period after Letrozole?

So I finished my first medicated cycle at 2.5, it looked like I had ovulated, but now I’m 3 days late from my expected period and no positive pregnancy test or even symptoms to indicate a period arriving soon. To be fair my period has never been on time but thought that a medicated cycle may change that. Did anyone never get their period after their first cycle? And if so how did you start your second medicated cycle? 🤔
