Grimm’s Law with Verner’s Law explain many consonant shifts in Germanic regularly, but some exceptions exist. Thurneysen’s Law concerns, in part, voicing dissimilation of nearby fricatives and has been interpreted as either irregular or due to unknown changes in Gothic, not of PGmc. date. In this framework I will attempt to add another type of dissimilation of fricatives, also at a distance and irregular, and necessarily of PGmc. date. Many, not all, PIE *kVs appear as Gmc. *kVs, likely due to regular *k > *x then optional *xVs > *kVs in PGmc. Also, *kVz might also be included, depending on the timing of *d > *t, *zd > *st, etc. (*kizdno-, below). This would be dissimilation of [+continuant] in fricatives, or similar changes in whatever system is accepted. Examples:

*kus-ne/ye- ‘kiss’ > H. kuwas-, G. kunéō, Ps. kṣulawul, Gmc. *kusja- > E. kiss, ON kyssa

These are likely related to ‘axle’ < *H2ag^- ‘drive’, but the optional metathesis seems likely limited to Gmc., well after *gs > *ks, etc., *k > x, especially since the same type of metathesis produces *H2ak^wisyo- in a word certainly < *H2ak^- ‘sharp’. When several nearly identical roots vary only in having *k > k in Gmc., a specific change there is preferable to looking for several new roots with only evidence from one branch. Removing ‘axe’ from ‘sharp’ also seems misguided, and attempts to explain this in a reasonable manner would surely have found the common *kVs before now, if tried at all. Manaster Ramer’s idea that Go. aqizi comes from a compound with *-k^g- seems less likely due to the other cases with irregular *k > k all occurring before s, which shows that a sound change is responsible, not an individual explanation for each. Previous attempts to separate all these sets of words since *k > k is not regular do not seem needed if the specific environment *k-s is considered for all these. For example, Kloekhorst said, “The formal as well as semantic similarity to Gr. kunéō ‘to kiss’ (*ku-ne-s-) and OHG kussan ‘to kiss’ is striking. Nevertheless, the Hittite verb cannot be cognate to both, since Gr. k- does not regularly correspond to OHG k-.” Once might be coincidence, but with 5 good examples, the support for this change (or lack of change) seems sufficient. Separating nearly identical words because *k seems to become k shows that a search for only what is clearly regular and a dependence on what is already known as regular has hindered the growth of historical linguistics.

Several other words, less clear, might show that *k-k > k-k could be included:
Li. kaĩras \ kaĩrias \ kairỹs ‘left’, kairė̃ ‘left hand’, Gmc. *kaika- > ON keikr ‘bent backwards’, Dan. kei ‘left hand’

An even less certain case of *x-x > *k-x might be:
*xux- > *kux- > OE cohhetan ‘blusteriot/cough’, Dutch kuch, E. cough

Though this seems to be onomatopoeia within Gmc., thus *xux- has no outside evidence, languages with [x] often have words for ‘cough’ start with this, like:
Khw. xaf-, NP xaf-, Os. xuf-

Though uncertain, such speculation is only possible due to good evidence for *kVs > kVs. The sporadic nature of Thurneysen’s Law seems matched by, at least, this change in all of Gmc., making its nature and scope as PGmc. in age more likely. That these changes were optional need not be evidence they did not exist at all. Any attempt can only lead to absurdities and chaos, all unneeded.

felt i had to share this once i found this sub, don't know if anyone has been in similar situation. any advice or consolation would be appreciated.
so i have these 2 cousin sisters, who are both my mama's daughters. There is a 4 year age gap between them. The older one has wanted to be a doctor since she was little, and she has always been a bright student. She gave her first NEET attempt and somehow missed cutoff by just few marks (gen category). her parents can afford private college and advised her to go but she was worried about stigma and convinced that she could get govt college easily after taking one year drop.
somehow each subsequent attempt she has been scoring a bit lower than her previous attempts. i don't know if its nervousness, anxiety, or what. her confidence got lower and lower, and her parents still tried convincing for pvt college but she wouldn't listen. the really unfortunate part of the story comes last year. her sister (who had no previous interest in medicine, wanted to go for research/phd) decided on a whim to study a bit and give neet during her 12th. and guess what? she cracked it on first try! it was during the same year that her elder sister was giving 5th consecutive neet attempt.
and since then there is so much tension in their household. the previously close sisters do not even talk to each other anymore (from what i heard they have barely spoken since the neet scores came out last year). my mama mami are just so torn about it. on one hand they are happy for their younger daughter, but they are also so scared for their older daughter because she seems mentally broken. my mom talks to my mama every week, and they are worried that their older daughter may take wrong step. no idea where to go from here.

I had a few discussions about Chizuru this past week, and I was told that I keep defending her. It would be futile to deny that, so instead I will explain to you my reasoning. This is about the ghosting. I am obviously biased, but I will try my best to give Kazuya's perspective its fair share as well.
I want to especially thank u/MandolarianSamurai here for the great discussion I had with them on this particular topic. (Another special shoutout goes to u/Farkran86, I had a great discussion on Chizuru with them as well on a different topic.)

The ghosting

Let me start by saying that I will not go into the details of the ghosting itself. It was the weakest part of the manga for how it was executed, it wasn't well explained, and I didn't find it believable that it could have happened the way it was portrayed. For the sake of the discussion here, I will go with the canonical take, though:
After the return from Hawaiians, Kazuya wanted to talk to Chizuru. He rang her doorbell, he noticed she was home, but she didn't answer. He wrote her a message on LINE, she read it, but she didn't respond. He also tried renting her a few times over the course of those three months, but a "prior engagement" always came up even though her schedule said she was free. He was unable to contact her. Kazuya correctly concluded that Chizuru was avoiding him.
This makes Chizuru alone responsible for the ghosting. I don't want to question that.

The effects on Kazuya

Kazuya was devastated. He didn't clean up, he didn't take out the trash, he didn't shave, he stopped dying his hair. He had been in pain for a long time and now that pain had him become numb to anything. Chizuru ignored and avoided him and the one explanation he could think of was that she must hate him now. She already avoided his confession before, and she implied that the kiss wasn't a big deal. She must have only saved him out of kindness. He was sure that it was over for him. There was only a very faint hope that the kiss might have meant something to her, and there was also the fact that she didn't explicitly tell him that it was over.
The ghosting also had lasting effects on Kazuya. It completely tanked any confidence he might have started to build up. He also lost any optimism and started to expect the worst. He was happy when Mini told him about what Chizuru said because it at least meant she didn't hate him. But even after she made contact again, he didn't have hope that he was more than a great guy to her. After he confirmed his love for her, it still didn't feel like his feelings got through to her, and he was sure that she will never reciprocate his feelings. He was overjoyed when she told him that she would investigate her feelings. She didn't reject him outright so that meant he had a chance to prove himself.
Kazuya has since slowly built up his confidence again. He wasn't able to even talk normally to Chizuru for quite a while, and he was completely overwhelmed after he started living together with her. I want to give a shoutout to u/DoctorELev3n here, they wrote a great post explaining how Kazuya ended up the way he did, looking a bit more at the bigger picture. It is quite obvious that Chizuru essentially broke Kazuya.

Chizuru's reaction

I want to first look "objectively" at how Chizuru reacted to ghosting Kazuya. The last time Kazuya saw her was at the train station back in Tokyo, after Ruka pushed her away and told her to get out of their sight. We saw her sitting at home alone, ignoring Kazuya's attempt to talk to her. She didn't seem to have much motivation herself. But she didn't stop living her life. We saw her at rehearsals, where she contemplated answering Kazuya but didn't. We also saw her grocery shopping where she imagined Kazuya's face on a carrot. She was clearly still thinking about him.
Then Mini's attempt to talk to her was surprisingly met with no resistance. She might not have wanted to talk to Kazuya, but it looks like she wanted to talk to someone about him. Mini told her that Kazuya was depressed because she ignored him and she acknowledged that this was on her. To Mini's question why she avoided Kazuya, she first told her that she didn't regret what happened at Hawaiians. But after Mini said this wasn't an answer, she told her that the reason is Ruka. She reasoned that she hurt her, and that it would only hurt her more if she kept in contact with Kazuya. Mini told her that she was just making excuses and that she just didn't want to face her feelings. She told her that going no contact was the worst she could do and that there was no need to try and go back. She then challenged her to face Kazuya's feelings which Chizuru finally agreed to do.
Chizuru agreed to a rental date with Kazuya to reconnect with him. After doing a "normal" rental date first, she gave him chocolates and she apologized for ignoring his messages and avoiding him. She also told him that the thought of Ruka kept her from contacting him. Kazuya then tried to take the blame for everything. He also told her that he didn't lie about his feelings for her. Chizuru then started her "investigation", but I don't want to discuss that here.
Notably, we didn't once see Chizuru consider Kazuya's feelings in all of this. She considered her duty as a rental girlfriend, she considered that she wronged his family and friends, and she considered that she hurt Ruka. She never considered that she hurt Kazuya. How could she have been so inconsiderate to the person she supposedly cares so much about? She was worried about hurting Ruka but hurting Kazuya was acceptable to her? That is messed up! And the worst part: She never even appropriately apologized for putting him through the most painful and agonizing three months of his life.
I hope this will convince you that I am fully aware of why Chizuru gets so much hate for ghosting Kazuya. That reasoning is solid, and it can make you doubt Chizuru's "love" for Kazuya. But it relies on an assumption that I claim to be false: That Chizuru knew what she was doing, that she knew she hurt Kazuya.

Chizuru wasn't aware how much she hurt Kazuya

I don't really blame you for not believing me. This seems to be an outlandish claim. Nobody could be so blind or stupid not to see how that would hurt Kazuya! Yet that is my "defense" for Chizuru. It might look a bit like an insanity claim. I don't see it like that, and I will try to make my case here. I will say, though, that even if my claim is correct, it doesn't excuse Chizuru's behavior. She absolutely hurt Kazuya and is to blame for that.

Logical defense

Let's first go with a logical approach here. I believe Chizuru's love for Kazuya to be true. I am absolutely convinced that he is the most important person in her life and that she cares for his feelings more than anything. She would never do anything that would hurt him. That is a direct contradiction to the result of our reasoning at the end of last section. If Chizuru's love for Kazuya is true, and the reasoning is also true, then this leaves no other logical possibility than that the prerequisites for the reasoning were false. Chizuru can't have been aware that she hurt Kazuya, no matter how absurd that sounds.
There is another logical reasoning that I want to mention here which assumes that Chizuru knew what she was doing. By the same reasoning, we can only come to the conclusion that Chizuru doesn't love Kazuya. Both can't be true at the same time. In fact, this is the strongest argument that people bring to claim that Chizuru doesn't love him.
I won't go into detail here why I believe Chizuru's love to be true, that is another discussion. If you accept that it is, then you will also have to accept that she wouldn't have acted the way she did if she knew she was hurting him. So my next line of defense is for those who are not sure that Chizuru loves Kazuya. I will try to convince you that Chizuru indeed didn't know she was hurting him.

Proving the claim

Let's make the claim first: Chizuru didn't really understand Kazuya, and she still doesn't fully understand him. She got the wrong impression of him and that made her believe that she couldn't possible hurt him.
This is hard for us to see, because we are so intimately aware of all of Kazuya's thoughts and his insecurities. But it is definitely possible, and I will use Kazuya as an example first. He also got the wrong impression of Chizuru. He thought she was strong and confident. Sayuri told him that wasn't the case, but he still couldn't see it. He even got evidence from Chizuru herself that she wasn't confident at all, but it didn't change how he viewed her. That only got worse over time from all the mixed messages she sent him. The most striking example was when Kazuya thought it might have been possible that Chizuru's sadness about Sayuri's death was an act. He rejected that idea, but that it even crossed his mind shows how far removed from human emotions Chizuru seemed to him. Much later, when Chizuru talked with Peter the cat, Kazuya also had the feeling that Chizuru completely recovered already from Sayuri's death when that can't have possibly been the case.
Wouldn't it also seem unfathomable that anyone could believe someone wasn't sad anymore about the death of their last family member if you didn't have the proof in Kazuya? Is it more outlandish that Chizuru wouldn't see she hurt Kazuya when she ghosted him? Don't bother answering, those are rethorical questions. My point is that it is absolutely possible not to understand the person you love and care most about, and Kazuya is proof of that.

Building up Chizuru's image of Kazuya

I believe that Chizuru actually got a similar impression of Kazuya as someone who was strong and confident. He could do anything, overcome anything, and deal with anything. Kazuya seemed invincible to her. How did she get that impression, especially when it comes to love? She should have known that rejection and avoidance would hurt him, she has seen him after his break-up with Mami. But that was ages ago, and he also got over that break-up relatively quickly, in no small part thanks to Chizuru. Since then, he has always been a source of strength for Chizuru. He gave her confidence when she doubted herself. He gave her hope when all hope seemed lost. He told her to come to him if she was ever hurting. He seemed to always know exactly what to say to make her feel better. He saved her. He promised to protect her, that he won't let Nagomi look at her with contempt, and he kept that promise in the end.
Chizuru never saw him agonizing over how he could help her, never saw him at a loss for what to do. She didn't see him at his lowest point after she (accidentally) dumped him (trigger warning!). She never saw how insecure he always felt. At Hawaiians, he put up a brave face for her and told her that he was going to "break up" with her after their return to Tokyo. She didn't see how much the thought of that alone hurt him.

Deep dive into Chizuru's thoughts

So Chizuru thought it was finally time to give up. She had dragged everything out long enough. The lie was exposed anyway, so this was a good point to stop. She thought Kazuya would probably agree. He told her he would break up with her, but he was forced to lie again to protect her. When he tried to talk to her after the trip, he might have wanted to go through the details for their break-up. But he really didn't need her input, she didn't have anyone anymore who would care about the details. And Kazuya had Ruka now, she would make for a better girlfriend anyway.
Yes, Kazuya "confessed", told everyone that he loved her, but he might have only said that to protect her. He obviously lied about them being together for real. He couldn't seriously be in love with a rental girlfriend, he shouldn't be in love with her. If he was, then she was at fault for making him fall in love with her. He would have no problems getting over her, he had a family who cared for him and a real girlfriend who loved him, he didn't need her. She would only cause more problems if she kept in contact with him.
Did you notice how Chizuru twisted the situation in a way that made it look like she was doing Kazuya a favor by not contacting him? That probably isn't less messed up. It also shows how little she values herself that she thinks she isn't worth crying over.
Now Mini told her that Kazuya was waiting for her. He was so kind! He didn't give up on her. She owed it to him to face his feelings. If that was his wish then not hurting Ruka wasn't as important anymore. He then also told her that he was even concerned about her. Of course he would be, she was feeling aweful for the past three months and wished she could talk to him. He certainly knew that with his god-like intuition. He told her again that he loved her. He later even confidently told her that he will wait for her until she loves him. He must have waited for her because he was so confident that she would come to love him eventually. The least she can do is try to reciprocate his feelings!
I am almost sure that Chizuru was thinking along those lines. Her reaction is consistent with that. Mini might have told her that Kazuya was depressed, but she couldn't really see that. Her apology was for making him wait, not for hurting him. And how she goes about her investigation also shows that she isn't aware that Kazuya always doubted that she would come to love him, on the contrary. She tells him not to worry because she is still investigating when that sounds more like a threat to Kazuya. Chizuru couldn't see that Kazuya was hurting so much because she believed him to be confident about her.

Conclusion

Chizuru still isn't aware of how insecure Kazuya really is and how much she hurt him when she ghosted him. I believe that she will apologize to him when she finds out.

Hi everyone. Does anyone know of a covid conscious pediatrician in the NW DC, NE DC, Hyattsville, or Tacoma Park area?
I had a new patient info call with McKnight Pediatrics a few months ago and was told they all wore masks. Went today for a visit and no one aside from the actual doctors and a few other personnel had masks on (only one behind the front desk). We had to ask the nurse to put on one. We were very disappointed in the entire experience and not sure we want to stick with them for the future.

"As a reminder, we kindly ask you to provide us with the medical certificate of sick leave issued by your wife's doctor, indicating that on May 15 and 17 your presence is necessary alongside your sick wife. Without a medical certificate, we will be obliged to cancel your absences and these will have to be taken as days off."**

Is this a valid request and can the employer ask me this?

Pozdrav svima. Prvo zelim da kazem da ovo nije troll post jer admini moje slicne ovakve stvari brisu.
Voljela bih kada bi mi neko ko je bio u slicnoj situaciji odgovori ili neko ko ima znanja u ovom podrucju, a pogotovo vjerskog/islamskog.
Ja sam djevojka od 29 godina, pokrivena, zavrsila fakultet i radim vec 6-7 godina. Imam oca i majku i hvala Bogu zdravi su. Odnos s majkom mi je odlican, ali s ocem nije i u zadnje vrijeme je to eskaliralo.
Dolazim iz malog sela, ali moji su davno nekad kupili kucu u manjem gradu, pa ja inace sama zivim tu. Placam rezije i odrzavam sve. Kuci dolazim svakog vikenda na 1-2 dana.
Inace nisam osoba koja se opija, drogira itd, ali vodim samostalan zivot i ne javljam se ni mami ni ocu kada bih svaki put izasla iz kuce. Treniram, radim (od kuce, znaci ni ne izlazim toliko), druzim se s kolegicama, momka nazalost nemam.
Problem je u stvari poceo od malena, kada me se uvijek poredilo s bratom i gdje su mu dopustene sve stvari, ali meni nije nijedan izlazak.
Kroz srednju skolu sam stalno dobijala jezikove juhe, galamu, psovke Boga, prijetnje da ce mi zapaliti dokumente, pasos, index (kad sam krenula na fax) itd itd. U svim tim situacijama sam se tresla od straha jer je to covjek od 150 kila koji se dere na vas, ali hvala Bogu nikad nije doslo do fizickog napada.
Kap je prelila casu danas gdje smo se posvadjali (da, posvadjali, jer ja nisam mogla vise) kada se prije dvije sedmice naljutio sto sam otisla na kafu a nisam ga pitala.
Dvije sedmice me ignorisao i danas smo se posvadjali gdje sam probala da objasnim da ja ne zelim konstantno biti s njima u kuci i da me proba razumjeti i da cu doci kad mogu ( sto i radim).
Ova svadja je takodjer ukljucivala meni prebacivanja iz proslosti kako ja nisam odgojena kako treba, kako nikad nisam slusala nista, kako nikad nista ne valja.
Pored toga, konstantno su prebacivanja kako ne zelim da ucestvujem u gradnji kuce, garaze, kupovini stvari itd (razlog - sad ucestvuj s nama, a sutra kad se udas, ti gradu svoj zivot).
Probala sam objasniti hiljadu, milion puta i ovo nije prvi put, ali doceka me to da stalno ja podsticem svadje i da ce me svi napustiti, i da kad on umre ja necu imati nikoga ako ne budem njegovala odnos s bratom i snahom (nisam s njima uopste posvadjana).
Jedna od recenica mu je bila da musko i zensko nisu isto i da musko moze raditi sta hoce.
Rekla sam da imam traume od svih tih svadja. Rekao mi je da ce mi on platiti psihijatra i rekao kako po mome on ne valja.
On mene uopste ne slusa.
Price o tome da se iselim ne dolaze u obzir jer mi prijeti da u tom slucju nema sta da mu se obracam i jer imam gdje zivjeti (ta druga kuca).
Zelim da spomenem da mi je receno da cu ja isto biti kriva ako se on razvede s mamom jer ja izazivam sve ove situacije.
Ono sto mene iskreno koci u svemu tome je vjera (znat cete o cemu pricam) i status roditelja u islamu, ali ja ljudi zaista ne mogu vise. Imam sum srca i dobila sam tablete za to, samo zelim miran zivot, ne treba mi stres, ne treba mi briga, zelim mir…

Tengo una hija de 8 años hace poco más de dos meses me le diagnósticaron anemia, el doctor me dijo que estaba avanzada qué teníamos que trabajar muy duro en su tratamiento o podría convertirse en leucemia tengo tanto miedo. Soy una mujer de 29 años y he trabajado duro para darle todo a mi bebé estoy en una ciudad donde me encuentro sola y ella depende de mi como yo de ella, mi familia está a kilómetros de distancia a parte de que ellos me desconocieron cuando se enteraron de la llegada de mi bebé, dijeron que no podría ser madre soltera y que si me convertía en una me darían por muerta. No me importó solo quería que mi bebé estuviera bien así que tome lo poco que tenía tanto de “vienes” como de ahorros y me fui lejos y habíamos estando bien afortunadamente una señora de casi la 3era edad era mi vecina y ella estuvo conmigo desde que llegue a está enorme ciudad fue como una abuela para mí y una bisabuela para mi bebé, ella también estaba sola así que nos hacíamos compañía unas con otras. Hace como tres meses me di cuenta que a mi bebé le hacía falta mucha energía, llegaba de la escuela y se decía cansada al principio pensé que solo era cansancio del estudio pero con el pasar de los días también me di cuenta que frecuentemente se mareaba, y que le faltaba fuerza para todo. Solemos comer juntas. Estoy en mi trabajo de 7am a 03 pm así que cuando llega de la escuela ya estoy en casa. Cuando le dije que teníamos que ir al medico puesto que no era normal su comportamiento. Éste nos mando hacer unos análisis, en donde mi guerra comenzaría, hemos hecho de todo pero hasta el momento no nos han dado resultado ningún medicamento que le hemos dado. Me enfurece mucho no poder proteger a mi bebé de todo mal como le prometí Me dijeron en el hospital donde está siendo cuidada que tiene un medicamento que utilizan para la primera etapa de leucemia que algunos niños sienten un poco de mejoría con ello y que tal vez funcione ya que es un tipo de vitamina más fuerte lo único por lo que me he puesto a pensar que las cuotas hospitalarias se me han estado saliendo de las cuentas y con el nuevo medicamento ya no se si me alcanzará en mi trabajo han estado reduciendo personal o bien salario para poder mantenerlos. A mí me presentaron las dos opciones pero malamente tuve que elegir la reducción de salario ya que en la empresa me ayudan con un 25% de dinero para el tratamiento y hospital de mi bebé, yo tengo que cubrir el 75% qué hace falta. Mi salario anteriormente era de 300 dólares al mes ahora con la reducción es de 1500 dólares. Se supone que el doctor ne dijo que entre más rápido empecemos con el medicamento más probable es que su enfermedad no llegue más lejos. Tengo que juntar $2,000 dolares para dentro de 3 días si quiero que mi hija se salve. No puedo pedir prestado en el trabajo debido a la crisis en la que está
¿ Qué debo hacer? No tengo a quíen más pedir ayudada la señora que anteriormente me ayudaba con mi bebé, encontró en redes a una de sus nietas que no conocía, ya que sus hijos la abandonaron cuando ella ya no les era útil y jamás en el tiempo que llevo de conocerla han tenido el descaro en verificar que por lo menos la señora siga con vida. La niña vio por casualidad una foto que publicó mi vecina con la mamá de la niña y un título que no recuerdo pero era algo como “mi hija y yo” a la niña le ganó curiosidad y fue a preguntar que parentesco tenían y está le explico todo entonces la niña le dijo que se fuera unos días de vacaciones con ella a otra cuidad, lo cuando yo también insistí en que lo hiciera ya que por lo menos una de sus nietas está emocionada por recuperar algo de tiempo perdido y de compartir con su abuela, ello lo hizo se fue antes que me dieran los resultados de los análisis así que ella todavía no se ha enterado Estoy sola y estoy en medio de declinar todo esfuerzo.... ¿ Esta bien que mi bebé y yo nos demos por vencidas ? ¿ Donde consigo tanto dinero?

20(M) here soon to be 21, I've not planned what to write in this post, everything I'll be writing I'm thinking of it at this moment so, bare with me.
Starting from school life, I was never good at studies I don't even know wether I'm an average student or a below average student becuz in some classes I've performed good and in some classes I had failed miserably. Everytime I sat down for studies it was just for show becuz if I didn't my mother would beat the shit out of me. I was unable to pay any attention, used to play with my toys or daydreaming at its fullest, by doing all this i used to pass my time of studies and get up for playing or watching TV and yes I never had much friends either becuz being a single child my mother never let me step out of my house which created a gap between my school friends and taking advantage of my isolation they used to bully me.
My dad got me admitted to the best school of my city and the very first day i realised this place is not for me becuz everyone was studious and I stand no chance against them once again I felt isolated and not home i barely passed that school tbh I was about to fail but I'd told my class teacher that next year I'll be switching school and I'm greatfull to him he understood and let me pass despite me faling in 4 subjects.
So in class 8th i moved to another school which had a very bad reputation in my city becuz the students were chappri and not so studious and I loved that school probably the best moments of my life were made in that school yk ANDHO ME KANA RAJA yes this is what I was there in very less effort i used to score way more which made me so called top 10 students of the class, I was still bad at maths and science but I really enjoyed social studies and English I used to score 95+ in both of these subjects and tbh this was the point of life, I had some gut feelings that I'll manage to passout from school somehow but I'll never be able to crack any entrance exams or do any jobs becuz again that requires effort and time which I don't have but I never realised how bad things are gonna get becuz I was just 13yo but I had this feeling in me.
So fast forward to 2020, got my 10th boards results it was 78% with 95/100 in social science and 67/100 in science I was terrible in maths thanks to my friends who let me cheat and score passing marks. Now time comes to decide what to choose in 10+2 and like most kids I took PCB why you may ask "becuz i wanted to become a doctor??" Heck no I took PCB just to escape from maths unaware of the fact that now physics and chemistry will become maths and why not arts or commerce you may ask considering I scored 95 in social science well SAMAJH ME HUM KYA BOLENGE HAMARE BETE NE ARTS LIYA HAI yes this was the reason, anyways I joined ALLEN after the first lecture itself i realised I fucked up by taking PCB and my dad's 2.2L just got in vein in that NEET coaching. Anyways 2022 comes I gave my 12th boards without even knowing the chapters of my subjects except English I still managed to score 70% becuz the school principal was my dad's friend and tbh that school was particularly known for cheating in exams so I did exactly that everyone from that school did.
Now comes the NEET exam and I scored 003/720 my parents expectations were shattered i felt so bad for them and tbh I don't blame my parents for anything which happened to me they did everything that was best for me maybe they don't realise my ADHD my lack of competitiveness in this rapid world I just feel I was never born to them I still love them want to make them feel proud but I cannot atleast in this conventional manner like every other individual does.
After my first attempt of NEET i prepared for CLAT (my dad was always against it becuz he's also in the same field and didn't like his job) anyway I scored 28/120 in 3 months of preparation from scratch I told my father that give me 1 more years I'll secure my state NLU he didn't believe and got me again into NEET prep this time I scored 87/720 which gave more hope to my poor dad that in 3rd attempt I'll score atleast passing marks which is arround 150 despite me telling him to putting me into college and on this 5th may I gave my 3rd attempt and I told me dad that I'm expecting the same results as last attempt but this time he lost it he threw all of my books he broke my laptop abused me both physically and verbally and he has clearly said that he'll not put me in college and will just feed me keeping me in home becuz he thinks I'm useless which probably I'm but I'm yet to give up on life now my house don't feel home to me anymore and I'm done watching my friends and peers enjoying their life in colleges.
Sorry if I got carried away and overshared but I cannot write something without oversharing.
Now I've decided to move out on my own I've no job just 12k rupees left in my account i had one laptop which my dad broke last night I want to get myself diagnosed for ADHD becuz i realate with every damn symptom and I'm done with panic attacks and this constant fear of losing in life always in my mind which has me so weak in the past 6-7 months I've lost like 40kgs of weight i always feel tired and weak I find it difficult to lift a bucket of water.
I thinking to Move to Delhi idk where I'll stay I've relatives living in Delhi but I'm not gonna stay with them.
My skills:-
I'm fluent in English speaking and writing. I know basic 3D modelling and Video editing. I've basic knowledge of real estate. I'm passionate about cars (i would really enjoy a career related to this field)
Apart from that I can learn any vocational skill quickly.
I don't care what jobs I've to do now becuz there's nothing left for me to loose no expectations, no self respect, no grades, no luxury and no privileges.
Idk who'll read this and if you've any advice please give. I JUST WANT MY LIFE TO GET BACK NORMAL WHICH I SEE IS NOW IMPOSSIBLE.
After all this I've realised one thing that I was always escaping from good schools to bad schools, from responsibilities and from problems. I was cocooned by all the privileges which I had and all the escape mechanisms which I made either by daydreaming or cheating the system and now when they are gone I've realised I'm Fucking useless not compatible for this competative world.

Je suis à la recherche d'un livre pour expliquer les différentes personnes d'une famille (la place de l'enfant, papa, etc) mais qui ne parte pas d'un exemple d'un enfant qui aurait une forme de famille en particulier. J'ai un peu de mal avec les livres du style ''Barnabé a une maman, un papa, un papi une mamie etc'' parce que chez nous il manque pas mal de monde du coup j'aimerais trouver quelque chose soit plus explicatif sans avoir l'impression que ça ''doit'' être comme ça.
