I have been a vegetarian for 3 years and have removed meat, fish and shellfish from my diet. The reasons are partly linked to the environment and partly to animal abuse.
For "consistency" I also removed bivalves such as mussels, clams and so on. However, I read that mussels, for example, do not have a nervous system and do not perceive pain. Furthermore, being "natural filters" there are advantages in consuming these animals compared to those commonly found in livestock or fishing. And the consumption linked to their production is more similar to that of plant products than animal ones.
So I was wondering why vegetarians don't/should eat molluscs of this type. Or better yet, what could be some reasons for not eating them?
My logic is always that of "it's not up to me to decide when an animal should die or whether it should spend its life just to feed me". However, in the case of animals such as mussels, I don't know whether this logic can continue to apply or not. I would like your honest opinion and please avoid talk related to hypocrisy and everything: there is no black or white and making some sustainable choices and others not is always better than making none

Yes, even in his early childhood Beol was part of an cult centered around the belived that insects will one day inherit the earth once again and return to their glorious true forms.
One day Beol was contacted by the "Sovereign Mantodea Oracle" the great leader of said cult. He gave Beol the order to oversee a new group that was being set up in an mountain village.
Beol was overjoyed, he was happy that such an important wask was given to him. Under the premises of work related stuff he travels and moved to said village. Here his two sons grew up for most of their live.
Samagwi the older of the two was always a very courious boy, he would love to explore and follow random people, so seeing his Father one night going in weird robes into the forest he naturally followed him.
He watched as his Father entered a weird wooden structure far of any trails in the Forrest. He waited for a bit before entering himself. Once inside he could see almost nothing as there where no lights.
Suddenly he was grabbed from behind! Samagwi started screaming and trashing around. But soon he heard a familiar voice.
???: Clam down boy, he know who you are. There's no need to be scared.
But Samagwi didn't listen, he bit the hand of the man and simply started running.

Samagwi stoped, the voice was familiar, but now he knew. It's was his father.
Samagwi was confused and asked what was going on. His father told him about the cult, and how they worship insects. Samagwi was instantly fascinated just like his father was the first time he heard about it from his parents.
Beol: I didn't plan for you to be doing this when your so young, but this is actually perfect. You two come out here.
Two children came out from the dark, it was a boy and a girl. Samagwis Father explain that his apprence here changed a lot of their current plan but its fine. He send to children away to play.
At one point Samagwis Father called the other two children to him, they looked scared and Samagwi was disappointed that they stoped playing.
After some time Samagwis father also called him, he ran to him complaining about being board and hungry.
Beol: well you're in luck then, we just wanted to eat something anyways, come.
He lead Samagwi into a larger room, it was big and had a long table with lots of chairs, a lot of people dressed in robes where already sitting at the table, Samagwi was told to sit down.
Samagwi: where are the boy and girl?
Beol: they'll be here soon, just wait.
Then a few people carrying plates came into the room and gave all those sitting a late of food. Samagwi was courious, the meat looked like nothing he ever had before, he started eating and instantly fell in love with the taste, he was done before anyone else, and even asked for second.
His father was pleased. With that, his entrence ceremony was completed. From this day on, Samagwi would get more sadistic towards other while still eating the meat they served.
It was only when his brother got older, that Samagwi became more normal, he stopped eating that meat. And eventually they moved away to Gangseo for some unknown reason.

2024.05.12 12:25 kennbr $1 Per Cup Homemade Chili Recipe?

I have been trying to come up with a chili recipe that will be better, and cheaper than store-bought chili. I really don't know the first thing about chili, and have been flying by the seam of my pants. The first batch I made was utterly horrible... I don't wanna talk about it. But I have hit upon sort of a rough-recipe that I've found to be pretty good, but I'm sure that some chili aficionados can help me make it better, and hopefully cheaper. This is what I've been doing so far...

I like the results, but I have no doubt it could be better. I like the spice level, but I think I'm missing something that could give it a little bit more "tanginess". I like to add sour cream and eat it with tortilla chips. I read to let the beans cook before adding the seasoning because they will kind of "absorb" the flavor, so that's why I cook them for 45 minutes before adding the seasoning. I like to slightly sear the beef first, because otherwise I find that cooking it for so long kind of leaves it a shredded mess instead of chunks. I screwed up and left too much grease in the mix a couple times, so I have gotten more careful about that. I would really like to find some peppers that might add some tanginess, but I'm pretty satisfied with the spiciness. Maybe something like some lemon/lime juice could be the ticket? I'm trying to avoid adding too much salt.
Most importantly, is the economics. Right now, the ingredients for all of this cost me about $30, and so for 20 cups, I'm getting about the equivalent of 10 cans of chili. $3 a can is not bad, especially considering most of the store-bought stuff I can get isn't much cheaper than that, and I am happy to get away from the processed stuff and preservatives. However, I'm not really at a point with the recipe that I'd say mine tastes better. It's palatable, and I enjoy it, but I would like it to be a bit tastier, and if I could get it to be AS cheap as store-bought that would be great. Right now the main ingredient that's preventing that is the beef; even buying the cheapest cuts or stew meat, it's just very expensive. I could cut out a ton of cost by just using beef franks instead, but while I find those flavorful I feel like if my goal is to try to get away from preservatives and processed foods, having those in tremendous quantities doesn't really help.
One thing I really like about this so far is it's pretty simple. There's not a whole lot of different ingredients, or a lot of prep time, and I'd like to keep it that way. I'm wondering if I could possible switch out beef for pork to improve the economics? I initially tried chicken, but I didn't like that at all, however that was before I had tweaked other parts of the recipe.
My ultimate goal would be a recipe that would get me close to a $1 per cup recipe that's low on preservatives and processed food, but that tastes as good or better than the store-bought stuff.

So I discovered this subreddit a little late, but I ate here right before the 2024 Edition of the World’s Best list was released, when Bangkok’s Le Du still held the title of Best Restaurant in Asia.
So it was with much excitement when I made my reservation. I could only get into the second dinner seating at 9:00pm, so that might account for some of the experience.
1: I found the front-of-house who greeted me rather standoffish. I am fairly young and she greeted me with a scowl and side glance, but when my father entered behind me, suddenly she was all bubbly and excited. Left me with a really bad first impression.
2: The first amuse bouche was a morning glory cake with sriracha emulsion. It was nice, if slight and forgettable. A but too earthy for my taste.
3: the next amuse bouche was Mushroom, Fermented Soybean, and Burnt Egg Sauce. This was pretty bad. It had the texture of slop and would’ve benefitted from a tart or pastry or some vehicle to carry it. The taste of mushroom was drowned by the fermented soy.
4: Kale cram soup, salted mackerel pudding, and pickled local tuna. The first standout dish. The creaminess of the kale soup was cut nicely by the saltiness of the mackerel and the sharpness of the pickled tuna. Micro-lettuce provided a nice textural break.
5: Fried crab meat, tofu, bean sprout, pickled radish, and dehydrated soy sauce. This dish was 80% pickled radish which overwhelmed the crab. Just not an ideal balance. The star of the dish was the uber crispy dehydrated soy.
6: Red snapper, mantis shrimp, bitter melon sorbet. The best dish of the night, fresh raw snapper and mantis were elevated by a bitter melon sorbet which blinded the palate with a cool, herbal punch.
7: Squid, strawberry and celery salad, salted egg mousse, squid ink and cognac sauce. The dish I was most excited for was the biggest let down of the night. None of the flavors complemented each other and the sauce had a grainy quality to it, very unpleasant.
8: The first main was Grouper, Adlai, crispy tofu, fiddlefern, tofu congee, and white chive cream sauce. This dish was great. Meant to simulate traditional porridge and it’s various toppings, a marvel of texture and innovation. Rather amazing how they achieved the fluffiness of rice with a thin tofu soup.
9: Pork, salted fish, and shrimp dumplings, Chinese sausage pure, oyster, and soup of plum and clams. A very comforting dish that I thought could’ve taken more risk. It reminded me too much of comfort food from my native country. But otherwise, quite nice.
10: Thai Wagyu, berries, and spicy sauce. Fantastic quality beef.
11: Signature River prawn, shrimp paste brown rice, crispy scrambled egg, and Tom yum sauce made of prawn heads. Le Du’s signature dish was another let down. Beautifully presented and with pleasant enough—if familiar—flavors, but the shrimp was either old or frozen or over cooked as the meat was very adherent to the shell. It made eating this dish less enjoyable.
12: Sorbet was lovely.
13: Coconut ice cream, Panna cotta, grilled corn, black sesame cake, and pear. The most beautiful dish was another disappointment. The ice cream and cake were fine, but the panna cotta was stiff, the corn random, and the pear negligible.
14, 15: The petit fours were unexciting and I felt I could have gotten them anywhere in Thailand. Coconut-Pandan and rice-sesame cakes were traditional. Fresh fruit was fresh fruit. What more can I say? Mother Nature is a great cook but I don’t think I need to pay top dollar for dragon fruit, papaya, guava, and watermelon.
Overall, Le Du was fine. The mains were for the most part good. The starters hit or miss. And the desserts uniformly disappointing. A few weeks after dining at Le Du, it fell 11 spots on the World’s Best list of Best restaurants in Asia, which I would think is a more accurate assessment.
Bathroom review: Before having a single bite, I always ask to use the washroom first. I think the quality of a fine dining establishment’s washroom is a pretty good expectation-setting indicator of a restaurant’s care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, at Le Du, there was piss on the floor.

Date [Post Cataclysm]: March 4, 1291
The fires crackled in the night, illuminating the people surrounding each one. There were too many for us to build just one fire, so we had ended up building several. I expected that to mean that the Arxur and the Federation species would separate and prefer the company of their on kind, but they remained remarkably close.
The Arxur that had come with us, seventeen in total, remained close with the other rescues, conversing with them and even sharing body heat. There wasn’t an iota of fear in any of their eyes, they had grown completely accustomed to the presence of the Arxur. I think it scared me.
They weren’t scared of the one thing that had always scared them. They weren’t cowards anymore, by my definition that made them people. And I had come to the conclusion the Drotkla was correct, you cannot simply become sapient one day, you had to have been born that way. That means they have always been people, and what I have done in my time in the Dominion I have done to people.
I stared deeply into the fire, running through the thoughts again and again. I was desperate to find the flaw, to pick out something I could use to prove they still weren’t people. There had to be a missing piece, an unknown factor. There had to be. I couldn’t accept that there wasn’t.
Date sat next to me, crossing his legs as he did. He carried a large piece of the rations we were given, surely too much for the human to eat himself. Wordlessly, he took his sword and began slicing the meat into strips before passing them off to the rest of the Arxur crowded around my fire. Drotka and Loznelt accepted theirs with little more than a nod of thanks, Kostlo was the only one to actually say their thanks. Rurutk did chirp when he got his, but that's less of a thanks and more of a gasp.
When Date offered me a slice, I held out a claw. “Not hungry.”
Every one of the Arxur looked at me like I was insane, except for Rurutk who was too busy enjoying his meal to notice. Refusing food was paramount to suicide, you never knew when your next meal could show up. One was likely to starve to death if they even missed out on one small meal.
Date shook the sliver in the air. “Are you sure?”
“Positive. I’ve lost my appetite.”
Date shrugged and pulled down his face mask to eat what was once mine. “Suit yourself. I’ve never been one for boar, but I’m also not one to waste food. And neither are you. Well, were. You are now.”
Date chewed a few times, looking me up and down. “What’s on your mind?”
“Nothing you can help.”
He chewed a few more times before swallowing. “Would taking your mind off of it help?”
I slowly nodded my head. “I guess it would.”
Date thought for a moment. “Remember how we were talking about what to do when Rurutk gets older? And how we were worried he was going to lack friends? Well, I got to thinking. There are plenty of human kids around, why don’t we introduce some to him?”
“He’s scared of your eyes, remember?”
Date looked passed me and to my son. “I don’t think he is anymore. He seems to be able to tolerate mine at least.”
I looked back and forth between them. “I hadn’t realized he was so comfortable with you now. I guess that ball-and-string toy you gave him made him like you. He plays with it all the time.”
“Well it’s better than being bored. And it’s not just me. Remember Sofia, he got along with her just fine. They even bonded a little over how little they spoke.”
“I know. Once you told me who she was I never left her out of my sight. I know Rurutk needs more friends, but she’s not going to be one of them and that’s final. I don’t care how much they bonded, I’ll introduce him to some other human kids.”
I thought back to the poisoner, recalling the last time I saw her. She started acting odd after we delivered Shume and the others who wanted to stay with the overbearing warlord Anneli. She kept offering me food and drinks, and she followed me and my soldiers everywhere. She even tried to sleep with me! We couldn’t get out of that camp fast enough.
“But how are we going to get some human kids to talk to Rurutk?”
Date shrugged. “I don’t know, but we’ll figure it out. For his sake.”
I nodded. “For his sake.”
Drotka decided to chip in. “Hey, I’m sure there’s another Arxur kid on this planet somewhere. If not, I’m sure there’ll be more soon enough. I’m sure you’ve noticed it too. Most of the female Arxur we’re bringing with us are carrying eggs.”
Date stared out to the other fires. “How… I don’t want to know.”
Kostlo sighed. “Vikings are cruel. I’m just glad we were found by the Blade Watch before anyone else. They’ve been good to us.”
I nodded. “Yes they have. I wouldn’t expect Anneli to give us an entire village, let alone any amount of independence.”
Date nodded, which looked odd with his wide straw hat. “You have more independence than when I ever had working for someone else.”
I blinked. “Wait, I thought you never worked for anyone?”
“Did I say that?”
“When we first met you said you hated the idea of having someone else tell you what to do. Oh, wait, no. You said you hated having anyone tell you who to kill.”
“Really?”
“Pretty sure.”
“Damn, you have a good memory.”
“I’ve always had one. It’s helped me out quite a bit. Anyways, tell us about this job.”
Date picked up a stick and stocked the fire slightly. “Not much to say, honestly. This was a very long time ago, I’m not good with dates. Heh, I’m Date and I’m not good with dates. Ironic.”
He chuckled to himself once more as he set the stick down. “So, after… some unfortunate things happened in my life, I decided to become a samurai under a dymio. It sucked. I don’t really know why I did it in the first place, but I ended up regretting it. In the end the dymio died of smallpox and I was left without a master once more. You probably know the rest of the story, bounty hunted until I met you, and now I’m helping you raise that one. After that, eh, I’ll figure it out when I get there.”
Drotka giggled. “That’s it? You’ll figure it out? Surely you have more of a plan than that.”
“You're one to talk. I bet you don’t have a plan for the next sentence you speak.”
Drotka leaned back. “I’ll have you know that I plan everything in advance. Well, as much as I can. I’ve seen people get killed way too many times on raids just because they had no plan and charged in. Just because you are hungry doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a plan. I only thought like that in raids until I saw… someone I was close with get killed for not having a plan. Fucking idiot spoke out of turn and our captain killed him. I made a promise to myself as I watched him get beaten to death to always have a plan, even if it was a bad one.”
She leaned over and picked another piece of wood out of the pile, tossing it in and causing the embers to roar for a moment. “It’s just become a habit to think like that now. Once I started I just couldn’t stop.”
Everyone was silent for a moment before Kostlo decided to tell his story. “I’ve seen people get mauled too. An offhand remark, speaking out of turn, looking the wrong way, even fucking breathing too loudly… They wouldn’t get a warning, they would just start getting mauled. No chance to defend themselves, maybe that’s why I wear this armor. Even though I know Salisk would never do that, I just feel safer. And it’s not like it’s hurting anyone to wear armor.”
Drotka smiled. “It’s making us slower.”
Kostlo didn’t respond with words, only staring in annoyance at the sassy Arxur. All Drotka did in response was shrug before returning her attention to the fire with a smile. I expected the conversation to end there, but I was genuinely surprised when Loznelt of all people spoke up.
With his deep voice, he had everyone’s attention before we even realized it was him talking. “I’ve seen the same. It’s why I don’t talk. It’s just habit to keep my mouth shut. Guess I’m finally loosening up.”
Drotka was the first to speak, as expected. “Woah. You sound exactly like I imagined you would.”
Loznelt huffed. “Is that good?”
Drotka smiled and placed a claw on her face. “Sure is.”
Loznelt huffed again and looked away, returning to his silence. Drotka sighed and shook her head. “Back to the silent treatment. Well, whatever. There’s still one more that has yet to talk.”
Every head turned to face me, including my son. Date shifted in his seat, turning to face me more. “Yeah Salisk, we’ve all shared a little at least. Can’t you say something?”
I sighed. “There really isn’t much to say.”
“Well, say what you can.”
I shook my head before sighing again. “Fine. It’s probably not as tragic as you might expect. I didn’t know my father, and my mother might as well have been a stranger. I had the incredibly rare luck to eat frequently, and that’s probably why I’m so strong. Not many Arxur get to eat properly throughout their lives, but I did. Anyways, when I wasn’t attending training or growing somehow more distant with my mother, I would be picked on by the older kids. It was constant, and I grew accustomed to the beatings. I never complained or even whimpered about them to anyone, I knew I would just be blown off.”
I looked deep into the fire, recalling memories I could have sworn I forgot. “It went on like that for a long time. Eat some scraps, go to training, get beaten by an instructor, get beaten by some older kids, go home, sleep away the pain, repeat. It wasn’t until I was old enough to be drafted did it change. People in higher positions noticed that I was stronger than most others, so I got better positions, more food, more power, everything an Arxur was supposed to want, but I never felt any accomplishment in it. It was all… hollow. I tried to find any sense of joy in my life, but I couldn’t. I turned into a robot, just taking the next step because someone told me to do it. The worst part was, I was okay with it in the end.”
I blinked as I looked away from the fire, focusing my attention back to my son. “That all changed when-”
A searing pain shot through my back, causing me to stretch out in pain. I roared in surprise, scaring both Rurutk and Date. Now, instead of just the people around me looking at me, the entire camp was.
Date, clearly confused, leaned back. “What’s wrong?”
I let out a growl to try and fight the pain. “I’ve been stabbed!”
I twisted to show Date the wound, hearing a small gasp as he saw it. “That’s a bolt! Someone shot you!”
I pointed a claw at Drotka and Loznelt. “Find them!”
They rushed into the woods without a second thought, barely remembering to pick up their weapons as they did. Kostlo stood as well, but instead of rushing into the woods he picked up his shield and planted it behind my back. Rurutk got close to him, seeking cover form his confusion behind Kostlo’s shield.
I tried reaching over my back to find the bolt and remove it, but Date stopped me. “Hold on Salisk, I’ve got it. Just stay still, it could be barbed.”
“Just get it out!”
After a moment of waiting, I felt the pain spike in intensity for a moment before settling back down. “You’re lucky this wasn’t barbed. It would have left a lot more permanent damage.”
I winced as I turned around and grabbed my mace. “I’ll kill whoever did this.”
Date held out his hands. “Now hold on, Loznelt and Drotka can handle it, you know they can. Just take it easy, a wound like that might not seem bad at first, but It can be more dangerous than it looks. Just have faith in those two, you’ll be fine.”
I settled back down on my log, once again reaching over my back to feel the wound. “Who would be so stupid…”
Date rolled the bolt in his hands. “A knight. Who specifically, I don’t know, but only knights use crossbows. Someone wants you dead.”
“Think it’s Anneli?”
“Don’t see why she would, but I also don’t know any other knights out here. Why don’t you take Rurutk and go to your tent. I’ll tell the rescues what happened, okay.”
“Yeah, just come get me if they return with that knight alive.”
“Sure thing, you have my word.”
I collected Rurutk and returned to my tent, still nursing the wound on my back. Rurutk clung to my free claw as we traversed the camp, still scared about someone in the woods hurting him. I pulled him into the tent and sat in front of him.
“I’m sorry for screaming Rurutk. I didn’t mean it.”
He took a few steps forward and leaned close. I didn’t have a clue what was happening until he wrapped his arms around me. Even if we had hugged many times before, this time was different. I had comforted him many times, but I never expected to be comforted by him.I returned the hug and pulled him close.
“You’re a great son.”

I'm a man A family guy Fan episode In a Caffe Lois and bonnie are worried for Kevin and Chris. Bonnie: Lois, Kevin hasn't been as manly ever since after he left the war. Lois: Chris is still a baby, he even watches my little pony. Both talk about Peter and Joe not teaching the boys how to be men, because if they remain the same the boys will never find girl to marry with.The Caffe manager overheard their conversation and suggest to them that to send their son to a alpha male boot camp to whip them to shape
In the Drunken Clam Peter talks about going to the boot camping wanting his friends to come along also
Peter: Hey guys, we're going to an awesome camp!! Quagmire: Wait a camp that's actually cool?count me in!!
Cleveland and Joe are a little skeptical.
Cleveland: Wait? Why are you going to camp? We aren't children anymore? Joe:Yeah! Also why do you want to go to this camp, Peter? Peter: Lois said this camp will make us into body builders! Quagmire: Yeah! I bet a bet million dollars if this camp is awesome!
Wanting a million dollars Joe and Cleveland agreed to go to the camp.
The group, Chris,Kevin, Peter,Joe,Cleveland, and Quagmire arrive at the boot camp which is in the middle of the woods. The Manager came with a whip and insults the group.
C.Manager: What are you?Ladies?You will never be a man if not for me!
Chris: Hey hey, that's not nice!
The manager then whips Chris in the face with a whip made out of barbed wire. The rest of the group scared for their lives agreed to go into the camp. The manager takes Joe's wheelchair,melting it and splashes the metal on Joe for being a cripple. Kevin wanted to protest to save his dad but his cut short when the manager stared at him.
In the camp the other campers who signed up are shirtless, having suffered from frostbite and being whipped by the manager. The men are building some kind of structure or something. The manager then kicks Quagmire in the balls for thinking about something.
Quagmire: Ow What's that for! C.manager: No thinking about sex in my camp! Chris:(Thinking) how my God he can read our thoughts. C.manager: I heard that!
Then started whipping Chris
Then the manager then splashed Kevin with liquid nitrogen which freezes and shattered his arms into pieces.
The group were eating the meal but before eating they had to wash their hands with poop and gasoline.
Joe: Wait, is this poop! No way!
One camper then whips Joe multiple times for disobedience. The group are confused at why the other campers are whipping Joe. Kevin, who had been to war, realized that the campers had been brainwashed by the manager to the point where they were the only hollow shells.
The gang then eat their food which is some raw mistary meat. Quagmire realizes the meat tastes familiar.
Quagmire: Yuck! This tastes like the sandwich from I'm my Nigerian vacation that turned out to be gorilla meat. Chris: Wait, there aren't any primates in The US, Except.
The group realized that they were forced to feed the meat of the deceased campers. The manager hears the commotion. The brainwashed campers grab the group and throw them on the muddy dirt. To show that nobody can disobey him, the manager tells the campers to beat Cleveland while the others are forced to watch while being whipped.
Peter: This is a nightmare!!
Cut back to the home where Meg and Stewie are sitting on the couch. Meg asks Stewie to use his time machine, which should because Meg understands him now.
Stewie: You can understand me! Meg: Yeah, I knew it had been since the day you were born. Stewie: Okay, okay, can we see dad now I want to go to the yard making him wet.
Meg and Stewie then went to Lois and Peter's bedroom and only just saw Lois. Meg gets Suspicious.
Meg: Wait a minute, did Dad actually go to that boot camp? Stewie: The fat man went to adult kindergarten along with his friends? How lame. Meg: No Stewie! A boot camp is a place where boys attempt to become manly. Wait, did you say dad's friends went there? Stewie: Yes, why? Mr Quagmire betted a million dollars on it.
Next week in the camp. The group are starving, having eaten nothing but air since last week.
Peter: Guys! I'm so hungry that I want to eat the ground.
Peter then eats the ground and vomits it out.
C.manager: Okay you useless magnets! Go to the showers!
The group then goes to shower but instead of water they are sprayed with liquid nitrogen.
Cleveland: My god, Why is this guy so obsessed with nitrogen? C.manager: shut up the mustache! or else you have to deal with the ostrich. Chris: What's the ostrich? C.manager: Shut up! Tubby! Set him to Shark room! Chris: No! I don't want to be eaten!
The campers take Chris in a room with a Chair in the middle. They tie Chris on the chair and then play baby shark. The terrible music makes Chris cry in tears.
Meanwhile Peter and Cleveland are tasked by the manager of building him. The pair agreed because they don't want to be punished or become dinner.
The manager sends Quagmire to meet the Ostrich. C.manager: Hey! Loser! Drink this tea! Quagmire: AHH thanks. Hey, that's actually good. C.manager: Now go meet the ostrich!
Quagmire sees a hot woman and start flirting with her.
Quagmire: Hi there beautiful. Do you know the hottest place in the solar system…
Before Quagmire could finish, an ostrich attacked him. The ostrich attempts to brutally beat Quagmire until he is unconscious. It turns out that the woman he saw was actually an ostrich and the tea made the female ostrich look like a woman.
In home Home Stewie finds the location of the boot camp and shows it to Meg.
Stewie: Hey, Meg I would like to know where dad's kindergarten is. Meg: Let me see. Wait, I heard about this. This is a concentration camp! Stewie: Are those the places in North Korea where the people are brutally punished for the smallest thing? Meg: Stewie this is serious we have to save dad!
In the camp
Peter and Quagmire are tired to exhaustion by being starved. They collapse, the manager comes and tells them to go back to work. Peter and Cleveland say no, but the manger freezes a camper with liquid nitrogen then whips him which shatters him to pieces, to show them who's boss.
6 months later
Peter has had enough and confronts the manger. The manager has a gun, waring Peter he'll shoot him. But Peter assault the manager taking his gun and shooting his knees.
C.manger: AHH!Come on! Shot me! You Maggot! Peter: No, you don't desire a quick death. Hey, guys the manager is acting weak.
The campers then star whipped the manager, splashing liquid nitrogen at him, the finally splashing him with hot metal which explodes him
Peter and Cleveland then run to save Joe, Quagmire, Kevin, Chris. They found out that Kevin and Joe were being tortured for being dispelled, Quagmire is a comma by a ostrich, and Chris driven mad by baby shark.
They leave the camp with Meg Chris being the get away driver.
Meg: Dad get in! Peter: Thank god You here to save us.
They drove to the hospital to give Quagmire,Joe, and Kevin imidiet help. Peter and Cleveland then confront Lois and Bonniee of sending them to concentration camp
Peter: Lois, Why the F*CK did you send us to a Hell hole! Lois: Wait!You went the camp! Where's Chris!? Peter: Chris is in the hospital for listening to baby shark for 6 Whole months! Bonnie: Oh my god! Where's Kevin!? Cleveland: He and Joe and Quagmire were tortured by that camp! Peter:(crying in anger) Why did send us to that camp, Lois, why? Lois: We thought the camp would make Chris and Kevin into Handsome men! Peter: What! You wanted Chris to get tortured in a camp? Now you have a Man! Who is driven mad by You! Cleveland: Why didn't you tell Peter that Only Chris and Kevin supposed go theirs. Peter's an idiot.
The group leaves and tells the authorities about the camp. The campers are saved and they went home to their families.
Bonnie is near Joe and Kevin sobbing for harming them by a camp.
Bonnie:(crying) Joe, I'm sorry! I didn't meant for you to go to concentration camp. Joe:(struggling to talk) Bonnie, It's isn't your fault. The Caffe and camp managers were the same guy.
Joe then again fall back to the comma with bonnie releasing that the manger tricked them to sent the group to the camp

The Magical Kingdom of Wallontia is a nation encompassing the southwestern continent in Seidak.

History

Following The Great Cataclysm (est. year 5500), the southwestern continent of Seidak was broken into several small nomadic tribes as civilization slowly rebuilt.
Tribes eventually began to war or merge, establishing regions of land that would later develop into kingdoms. In the kingdom of Norland, a conflict began between the king and a Scion of Seirin by the name of Selina. At this time, the people were following the Nostrali calendar which made it the year 336. Selina provided the revelation that Seidak as a planet was more than five thousand years old already, causing the people to eventually adopt a new calendar to attempt to account for this pre-historic time and properly measure the year of the world.
With Selina’s guidance, the people of Norland overthrew the corrupt king and abolished the monarchy. Unfortunately, the neighboring kingdom of Eastchester saw them as weak without a leader and seized this opportunity to invade.
By 731NC, the eastern half of the continent was under Eastchester rule and the western half under Westchire rule. A marriage was arranged between the daughter of the king of Westchire and the son of the king of Eastchester, thereby uniting the two kingdoms. In the following years, the kingdom became known as Wallontia and controlled the entirety of the land on the continent.
In 1276NC, the people once again overthrew a corrupt king. Control fell to the chancellor at the time, but the people demanded a new form of government be established. They would elect who would serve as Chancellor every ten years with the first of these elections occurring in 1280. Furthermore, the nation was broken down into four smaller city-states with their own local governments for easier management. These were based on the four old kingdoms and were named Norsect, Easect, Susect, and Wesect.

Travel & Communication

Land travel is mostly done by foot or by riding a beast of burden (horses, donkeys, or oxen). Wooden carriages may be used for group travel or item transportation and are animal-pulled. Most towns have a local postal service that can assist in the delivery of letters and packages. Horse-mounted couriers (known as postboys) deliver locally on a daily basis. For out-of-town mail, the postmaster prepares letters and packages for transmission between towns on a monthly basis. Emergency services are also available for an extra fee to immediately rush a single message or package that day.

Magic & Technology

Due to the importance and prevalence of magic in Wallontia, it is no surprise that it plays a very heavy role in the daily lives of its citizens. The people of Wallontia commonly employ mages to infuse magical instruments with the elements for convenience. The most common example of this is lighting. Magic is also used to keep things hot or cold for short periods of time. Food preservation is mainly done by packing meat with salts and other spices that can be found.
Several devices have been created around the idea of using magic to power them. One such example is the Wallontian Stove, invented by Thomas Franklin in 1242NC. It was designed in such a way to amplify a fire spell cast upon it in order to heat food.

Drinking Culture

Alcohol does not play a major role in the lives of most. There are an average number of taverns that serve food and drink and it is not uncommon for workers to use these services after finishing a hard day’s work. While Wallontians do drink socially on special occasions, it’s not a significant part of their culture
Wallontia is fairly strict on underage drinking. You would be very hard-pressed to find a bartender who would serve an alcoholic beverage to a child. The definition of “child” does vary from person to person and there is no formal identification system for proving age. As such, bartenders usually just use their own judgment and avoid serving drinks to those they personally feel appear “too young”. It is not uncommon for Wallontians to become independent at the age of sixteen, which tends to serve as a rough guideline as to when someone becomes an adult. If a bartender knows the patron is independent and self-responsible as an adult would be, they will likely serve alcohol regardless of age. Those under the guardianship of another are more likely to be denied such a request.

Government

Wallontia was originally founded as a kingdom and ruled over by a royal family. The king of Wallontia was the supreme monarch, with the queen being a powerless title. When a king perished, rule would pass to the next eligible male. This would first be the oldest living son. If the king had no sons, other blood relatives (brother, nephew, etc.) would be next in line. Failing this, the husband of a blood-related princess could assume the throne.
Following the 1276 rebellion, Wallontia was made into a federal republic. People elect local government officials to handle local matters such as education and infrastructure. The central government handles matters of national economy, security, defense, and foreign policy.

Education

Wallontia lacks much in the way of education for children, most being home-schooled. Most academies center around magic studies and don’t deal with students younger than 14. Wallontia City is the center for adult education on this continent. It hosts the world’s largest magic academy and is a focal point for scholars. Aside from just magic, many pursue literary arts here. It is known as a hotspot for mages and scholars. Since many spells are derived from ancient texts, written in an old language, learning this language is important. There is a heavy emphasis on reading ancient and classic literature in general to prepare oneself for reading magic texts.
