2024.06.09 15:13 Ilikememes8642 Doncaster Rovers to Glory - Part 2

Doncaster Rovers to Glory - Part 2
Welcome to part 2 of my Doncaster save! If you missed Part 1, I'll link it here https://www.reddit.com/seriousfifacareers/comments/1cy5zjm/doncaster_rovers_to_glory_part_1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
We're back for Part 2!
So last time out, we reached mid November. We had a decent start to the season, being in 6th place after 17 games and we had 2 cup ties, in the fa cup against an unconfirmed opponent and in Round 2 of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy against Grimsby. Before we look at how we got on in these fixtures though, we turn our attention to the January business.
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji signed from Arsenal on a short-term loan
Unsurprisingly, a few of our loanees were recalled by their parent clubs. Matthew Craig returned to Tottenham after some underwhelming performances at Centre-Back, and Billy Waters returned to fellow League 2 side Wrexham after only managing 5 appearances. However, the biggest surprise was Bolton's decision to recall Conor Carty, who managed 13 goal contributions during his time at the club. This left us short up front, so we signed 21 year old Striker Nathan Butler-Oyedeji on a short-term loan deal from Arsenal. We also made a free signing. With Jon Taylor confirming he won't renew his contract, we agreed terms to bring in Irish winger Dylan Connolly on a pre-contract deal from Bohemians. However, he joined up with the club (Unexpectedly) on 1st January. Apart from that, it was a quiet window. We did sell a few academy players, selling 4 for a combined £745,000. We do have a few pre-contract deals for next season (which I won't reveal until Part 4) and we have a few players going on a free at the end of this season, which I'll go into more detail later. Now let's see how Doncaster have faired from where we last saw them in November.
Doncaster have shown some good form, sitting 2nd with 10 games to go
We have now reached March 12th and Doncaster are in a very good position to get promoted to League 1. The Rovers sit 2nd in the league, 7 points clear of 4th place Stockport, with 10 games left. It started off very poor, with Doncaster losing 5 league games in a row from a 7-4 defeat against Swindon on 21st November until a 4-0 loss to Tranmere on 16th December. This caused them to slip down the table, going as low as 10th. However, since then, Doncaster have won 11 out of 13 games and stormed up the league. The last 10 games won't be easy, with games against Notts County, Bradford, Mansfield and Wrexham still to come. If Doncaster keep up their impressive form, that 2nd last game of the season against Wrexham could very well be a title decider. We will see how they get on soon. Now let's turn our attention to the cup competitions, starting with the fa cup
We made it to the 3rd round, putting in an admirable performance away at Middlesbrough
We were drawn against fellow League 2 side Tranmere in Round 2, and managed to achieve a 4-3 victory, which is impressive considering they would beat us 4-0 in the league a few weeks later. The Rovers were full of optimism when drawn against Middlesbrough in the 3rd round, and would've been overjoyed when new loan signing Nathan Butler-Oyedeji scored a hat-trick in the first half to put Doncaster 3-0 up. However, Middlesbrough managed to catch up and then beat us comfortably in the replay. The lads did themselves proud and everyone (except the board, thanks again EA) will be happy with how we performed.
Oxford haunting us in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy
In the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, we scraped past Grimsby in the 2nd Round, obtaining a narrow 5-4 win. However, the Round of 16 draw wasn't very kind, putting us against the same Oxford team that beat us in the group stage. Unsurprisingly, we couldn't handle them and lost again. Aliman Walid will be hoping to get revenge on the U's if Doncaster get promoted to League One next season (and if Oxford don't get promoted)
Squad stats - March 2024
Aliman Walid has pleased the board so far in terms of what they're expecting him to achieve this season. The promotion fight is exactly what they were hoping for and gaining automatic promotion would be an even greater accomplishment. In terms of his financial objective, the small fire sale of youth prospects in January has amassed to 17% of what the board were hoping to achieve. With a number of decent players currently in the academy, this number will likely rise next season. Aliman also has to choose 1 academy player to play 50% of games next season, which he is not short of options for. Finally, avoiding defeat against Tranmere will be crucial for the Brand Exposure objective, which is to avoid defeat in 5 consecutive home games. Failure to do so will mean Doncaster will need to win their last 5 home games, including the games against Mansfield and Wrexham.
There is a clear favourite in goal
Looking at the squad, Lo-Tutala has kept his starting place in goal. Louis Jones has somewhat restored his reputation at the club and racked up a few appearances. Ian Lawlor however doesn't like sitting on the bench and has handed in a transfer request. Therefore, he hasn't played a single game since the last part. Also, there is still no clean sheet at all for the goalkeepers. Will they get 1 before the end of the season?
Competition at both Full Back positions
In Defence, Olowu and Bailey have kept their partnership going strong at the Centre Back spots. Richard Wood and Jay McGrath have managed to get a number of appearances but Tom Anderson has struggled to get any gametime lately. Left Back and Right Back are much more contested though. On the left, competition has remained fierce between James Maxwell and Jack Senior with both players getting a fair share of minutes. The same can also be said recently for Right Back, where Jamie Sterry has improved and is pushing Tom Nixon for minutes.
Dylan Connolly has struggled to make an impact
Harrison Biggins has worked his way back into the team with some impressive performances, being rotated regularly with Zain Westbrooke and Ben Close. Despite this, he will be leaving at the end of the season alongside veteran Tommy Rowe. George Broadbent has had a disappointing season, struggling to break into the team. On the left side of midfield, the situation has remained the same. Habeeb Adelakun is the main starter and Kyle Hurst the dependable understudy. It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season with Adelakun returning to Lincoln. On the right side, Molyneux has remained the strong favourite, making the joint-most appearances for the club this season. However, the battle for the understudy has taken an unexpected twist, as new signing Dylan Connolly has struggled so far, and Jon Taylor has come into some good form of late, grabbing a few unlikely goal contributions and pushing Connolly to 3rd choice.
The strikers are just insane, especially Miller
George Miller has 65 goal contributions this season. The best player in the league and we'll be fortunate to keep him next season. Joe Ironside has also shown some impressive performances and knows how to get the crowd going. Maxime Biamou can make an impact off the bench and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji has already made his mark, especially after that Middlesbrough fa cup game. Sometimes, it's easy to forget that Caolan Lavery is at the club, but he won't be for much longer as he'll be moving on once his contract expires.
Current Team Lineup
That's all for Part 2! Will Doncaster go up? Will they finally get a clean sheet? Will Caolan Lavery actually do anything? Find out in Part 3 which will be coming out very soon! Hope you enjoyed reading through.

Many multi-use can openers are different types with multiple attachments that allow you to customize your device for different tasks.

24. Knife Can Opener

The knife can opener is a simple device that uses a sharp blade to cut through the metal lid of a can.
These different can openers are very popular because they are easy to use and affordable.
It is important to note that this type of can opener is not designed to open cans with a plastic lid.
This Can Opener is one of the most different types of can openers available on the market. It is designed to make opening cans as easy as possible.
The opener consists of a handle with a sharp blade on the end that is used to cut through the lid of the can.
It works best with thinner cans, such as soup cans, vegetable cans, etc.
This type of opener requires a bit more effort than the other types since you need to press the blade down into the can lid to cut through it.
However, it is great for those who don’t have access to an electric or manual can opener. It is also very easy to store since it takes up minimal space.
Knife Can Openers are also incredibly affordable, making them a great option for those on a budget.
They come in various shapes, sizes, and styles, so you can find one that fits your needs perfectly.
Plus, because they are so simple to use, they are great for beginners and experienced can openers alike.
Conclusion
Can openers have been around for more than a century, and with good reason - they make opening cans of food easy and convenient.
But there are different types of can openers, each designed for different tasks.
This blog post has explored the different types of can openers and their various uses, from the traditional manual can opener to the electric can opener.
We have also looked at the best can opener for your particular needs.
So, this is the place to start if you're looking to buy a new can opener or want to learn more about them.

2024.06.09 13:01 WeMapRPG Artificer: Tome Master

I think this is my first time posting homebrew class/subclass.

Tinkering With A Tome

The Tome Master utilizes an Arcane Tome to prepare spells that are normally beyond the grasp of an artificer.
You will need to manage your spell slots and your down time to do the Arcane Research needed to prepare new spells. You will, however, not find yourself twisting the metal of an arcane construct, but the highest level of arcane casting.

Tome Master Spells

The Tome Master can prepare spells from the Wizard Spell List, depending on their level.
The first time that the Tome Master prepares a spell from outside the core artificer spell list they must spend a number of hours in arcane research equal to the level of the spell.*

Armor of the Arcane

3rd Level
When not wearing armor and not wielding a shield, you may calculate your armor class with 10 + your Intelligence modifier + your Dexterity modifier.
While concentrating on a spell, you gain a bonus to your armor class equal to half your proficiency modifier (rounded down).

The Arcane Tome

3rd Level
You imbue a spell book with your arcane magic to house your arcane research.
The Arcane Tome can be used as your spellcasting focus. If lost or destroyed, it can be summoned to your hand at the end of a short rest by expending a spell slot.
You may prepare some spells into your Arcane Tome, allowing you to prepare spells that would normally be beyond your capability. When you prepare a spell in the Arcane Tome, you must expend a spell slot half the level of the spell, rounded down. (These spell slots are considered “stored’ in the Arcane Tome). From then on you may cast that spell by expending a spell slot equal to half the level of the spell, rounded up.
A spell prepared in the Arcane Tome remains prepared until you cast that spell or dismiss the preperation as an action. The Arcane Tome can store a number of spell slots equal to your proficiency modifier + your Intelligence modifier.
Example use of the Spell Tome:
Calbot, the 20th level Tome Master, sits down at the end of an adventuring day to prepare spells into their Arcane Tome. They expend a 1st level spell slot to prepare Fireball. A 3rd level spell slot to prepare Disintegrate. A 3rd level spell slot to prepare Teleport. Finally a 4th level spell slot to prepare Wish, however since it is their first time preparing Wish, they will have to spend 9 hours in arcane research to prepare the spell. Calbot misses out on a long rest from pulling that all nighter.
They cast greater restoration to remove the level of exhaustion, and have a 2nd level spell slot they can use to cast Fireball, a 3rd level spell slot to cast Disintegrate, a 4th level spell slot to cast Teleport, and a 5th level spell slot to cast Wish. Of course, Calbot is hoping for a non-eventful adventuring day so that they could get a decent night’s sleep and move forward with all of their spell slots and some powerful options ready to go in their Arcane Tome.

Layline Spine

5th Level
You may use your infusions to power your Arcane Tome. You may use the Replicate Magic item infusion to create spell scrolls within your Arcane Tome. You may choose to rip the page out as an action so that you can hand the scroll to another creature. The Arcane Tome must be restored before you can do so again. Restoring the Arcane Tome requires you to expend a spell slot and takes 10 minutes.

Potent Preparations

9th Level
Spells prepared in your Arcane Tome are more difficult to resist. Saving throws for spells prepared in and cast from your Arcane Tome have a bonus to their difficulty class equal to half your proficiency modifier (rounded down).

Desperate Discipline

15th Level
As a bonus action, you may end an infusion to prepare a spell in your Arcane Tome without expending a spell slot. Arcane Research is required as normal for spells you have never prepared.

2024.06.09 12:41 lil_burri Not really sure what to take for a 3 day milsim

Me and my friend are going into our first milsim game in July, we've both been playing airsoft for around a year so we got plenty of experience with smaller games but we have not played at such a large event. I don't really know what to take with me. There will be water refills at the main base, BBs, and food. However I still need to keep a decent amount of water on me.
How many liters would be good?
Also, how many batteries will I need to take? I use a 1300mAh 11.1 LiPo for my gun if that helps. Usually lasts a 6 hour game without trouble.
How many magazines do I need? I heard 10 is a good amount, however we have a limit of 80 rounds per mag for assault class (which I am playing) so that should also be considered.
What else would you take? I will have a medkit, dump pouch and a holster on me but I can't think of any other pieces of equipment that are needed but I'm sure these few things aren't enough.
Sorry if this is lackcluster and these are noob questions but this is my first time going to such a large event and I wanna hear advice from more advanced people.
I'll be glad for any help.

2024.06.09 11:12 That-Fall-3855 BOUNDARY OAK- Lincoln Straight Bourbon Whiskey -Review

BOUNDARY OAK- Lincoln Straight Bourbon Whiskey -Review
Well it finally happened. My first unicorn bottle. The manager at the spot I frequent was nice enough to save this bottle for me as he knows how much I enjoy Boundary Oak products. I still can't believe it's sitting on my bar. I decided to crack it open after a pour of Green River Full proof. This bottle carries a 2 year age statement.
• Proof/Price: proof 114 (57% abv) and $61.99 • Appearance/Nose: Amber color. Medium streaks in the glass. Beautiful sweet oak and rich cherry. Has a slight penny copper smell as well which is quite pleasing. Heavy banana and vanilla reminiscent of banana creme pudding. Definitely some ethanol the longer I concentrate...but it’s really tamed by the aforementioned sweet notes. • Taste/mouthfeel: Medium thick mouthfeel. The artificial cherry note in most BO products is non-existent here. This is straight Luxardo cherry syrup and sweet oak. This rounds out to a nice vanilla note. • Finish: Short to medium. Vanilla extract and more oak. Some sweet nuttiness that reminds me of orgeat syrup is making an appearance. I love orgeat so this is quite welcomed.
I'm smitten. Reviews that I've seen have been variable. The nose delivers beautiful notes that are classic to the Boundary Oak brand. Yet amplified and balanced. The palate is not super complex. However, it introduces a nice sweet oak note that I dont usually get from Boundary Oak. My one gripe is the finish. I wish it was a bit longer. The nutty note I'm getting is pretty cool though. Somewhat reminds me of the finish on Knob Creek 18 Year and Eagle Rare 17. Angels Envy Private Select (Staff Pick) is my favorite bourbon (and Russel’s Reserve Rare Breed rye is my favorite rye). I think any fan of Buffalo Trace would truly appreciate this bottle. Is it worth secondary prices (idk...quick Google search says upwards of $227)....I'd say probably not. But I'd absolutely buy this again at MSRP. I am truly appreciative of the manager of the store I go to. I'm looking forward to sharing this with friends and family this summer season!

2024.06.09 10:51 PlagueKitsune Sirius A. Vane

I’ve been thinking about making this pirate crew for a very long while now. I’m a bit slow with basically everything and this is the first member I had the guts to try to write/type and post.
Name: Sirius A. Vane
Birthday: October 30th
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Height: 5’7
Birth place: Somewhere in the New World
Occupation: New Milky Way Pirates Navigator and Astronomer
Haki: Observations and Armament Haki
Weapon: A swing-out revolver with a sea prism grip and barrel that is capable of holding 10 rounds. Sirius uses combustion rounds, sea rounds, numb rounds, ricochet rounds, and bland rounds. She usually loads them in a random order (except the sea rounds).
Backstory: Sirius A. Vane is the daughter of the former captain of the Milky Way Pirates, Calico Vane. After the death of her father and most of his crew, Sirius (15) and her “brother” (also 15) spent two years with the Heart Pirates and was dropped off at Water 7 at the age of 17 to get their own ship that paid treasure left behind after by her father (a total of 800 million berries).

The Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Shelf with Lights Set of 5 has been a game-changer in my shoe organization journey. The glow color-changing aspect is quite the conversation starter in my household, adding an interesting twist to a typical shoe rack.
The sturdy levitating shoe wall shelf truly displays my top shoes proudly, making them stand out as part of my personal style statement. While some might find it overwhelming, I personally love the visual effect it creates.
The only downside I've noticed is that the lights tend to dim over time, but the fact that it comes with a set of 5 makes this an enjoyable and unique addition to any shoe lover's life.

🔗Wall-Mounted Floating Sneaker Display for Top Collections

I recently got my hands on the Floating Shoe Display for my home space. I must say, it was a fun experience setting it up - a great conversation starter. The wall mount installation made it a breeze to set up, and the floating shelves gave my room a sleek and modern look. One of the highlights was the wide-shaped design that made more room for my kicks, and the highly transparent clear acrylic display created the perfect floating effect.
However, there was one downside, it could only hold most types of sneakers, and the. 16-inch thickness made it a bit too fragile for my liking. But overall, the Floating Shoe Display made a great addition to my space and kept my collection organized and on display. So if you're looking for a unique way to showcase your favorite pairs, this floating shoe display could be the perfect match for you.

🔗Slim, Modern Wall Mounted Shoe Rack for Stylish Storage Solutions

As a shoe enthusiast, I always find myself looking for innovative and stylish solutions to manage my growing collection. So, when I found this PeachyModern wall-mounted shoe rack, I couldn't resist giving it a try.
This modern, wooden shoe rack perfectly fits my narrow entryway, saving floor space and adding a touch of elegance with its sleek, slim design. I appreciate how it's so lightweight and easy to install, making it an ideal choice for those who aren't handy with tools.
The shoe rack has enough space to accommodate various types of footwear, ranging from high heels to sneakers. Moreover, I especially like how it can fit even wider boots, keeping them in shape and looking neat. One downside though is that it's only suitable for 2 pairs of shoes, but that's minor considering the space it saves.
Incorporating this shoe rack into my home has significantly improved the functionality and aesthetic appeal of my entryway. It's like having a bit of Scandinavian minimalism in my house, and I'm glad I made the purchase. If you're in the market for a modern, compact, and versatile shoe storage solution, this one could just be the peachy solution you're looking for.

🔗Levitating 8-Pack Floating Shoe Display Rack

I recently got my hands on the IEEK Floating Shoe Display, a unique and space-saving solution for showcasing my shoe collection. As a proud sneaker enthusiast, I was thrilled to set up this clear acrylic shelf on my wall. The shelf measures 8 x 3 x 2 inches and it can hold most regular size shoes, making it perfect for both casual and designer sneakers.
What stood out to me the most was the floating effect these shelves create. The transparent color allows the entire shoe to be visible, showcasing its details from every angle. However, I noticed that only the bottom of the shoe is supported, so it may not be the best option for shoes with thick bottoms. Nevertheless, it's a great conversation starter and a fantastic way to save space in my living room.
The installation process was a breeze - just drill a hole and screw in the provided hardware. I've set up these shelves in my living room but they could also work well in bedrooms, playrooms, dorm rooms, or even hallways. If you're looking for a fun and functional way to display your sneakers while saving space, I would definitely recommend giving the IEEK Floating Shoe Display a try.

🔗Stylish Cozyside Floating Shoe Display Wall Rack

I recently came across the Cozyside Floating Shoe Display Stand, and I must say, it's a game-changer for showcasing your shoe collection. The sleek, modern design adds a stylish touch to any room, making it a great alternative to traditional shoe racks or display cases.
There's something about the clear, floating shelves that draws your eye and highlights the unique design of each pair of shoes. However, it's not all smooth sailing - the installation process requires a bit more effort than expected, which can be a bit of a letdown.
Despite this minor inconvenience, the high-quality craftsmanship and the ability to display six pairs of shoes is well worth the time spent assembling it. I've been using it in my room, and it truly adds a touch of personality to the space. Overall, I highly recommend the Cozyside Floating Shoe Display Stand for anyone looking to add a bit of flair to their shoe collection.

🔗Dazzling Wall-Mounted Floating Shoe Shelf

https://preview.redd.it/fozioulkei5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca58541fb00fdc544ccc24bce7c432aba006dd83
During the past few weeks, I've been using the STAHMFOVER 6-Pack Large Rainbow Acrylic Floating Shoe Shelves. To be honest, my living room was starting to resemble a shoe shop! But these acrylic racks have saved the day, letting me transform the space by adding some color and displaying my favorite pairs.
One of the first things I noticed was how easy they were to install. The whole process took just about half an hour. The installation instructions were straightforward and the screws and nails helped get the job done in no time. I'm quite happy about that, as it takes just a small portion of my day to organize and showcase my favorite footwear.
What I've particularly enjoyed about these floating shoe racks is the ability to easily switch up their arrangement. The shelves have two pre-drilled holes, so you can adjust them to your liking. I must confess, it gave me a sense of satisfaction to see my shoes arranged in the best possible way.
However, I have found a downside as well. They're not the greatest for heavy shoes. I had to remove a pair as they were exceeding the 6-pound limit. I believe this is a minor detail, but it's important to know beforehand.
Despite this limitation, the STAHMFOVER Floating Shoe Shelves have become an essential part of my daily routine. Not only did they help me declutter my living room, but they also allowed me to showcase my shoes in a fun and creative way. Highly recommended for those looking to keep their space organized and looking for a touch of color!

As a shoe enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for unique and innovative ways to display my collection. The Floating Shoe Display Wall Mount promised to be a game-changer in my room decoration.
Upon setting it up, the wide-shaped design immediately caught my eye. It made more room for my sneakers and showcased them perfectly. The floating effect offered by this display shelf couldn't be more impressive, thanks to the highly transparent clear acrylic material. It made my shoes seem to 'float' in mid-air, which added a touch of elegance to my room.
The 0.16" thick floating shoe display shelf was sturdy enough to hold most types of sneakers, while being unobtrusive. The platform size was just enough to accommodate sneakers up to size 14, making it a versatile option.
The installation process was a breeze. The included hardware made mounting on the wall a straightforward task. But the real icing on the cake was the impeccable packaging; each shelf was carefully wrapped and protected, ensuring its transparency and floating effect went unmarred.
However, one minor downside was the lack of a detailed installation guide. It could have been helpful for beginners, but other than that, this Floating Shoe Display Wall Mount exceeded my expectations. It's not just a shelf, but a statement piece for any shoe lover's room.

🔗Colorful Glow Floating Shoe Display

I recently had the chance to try out the Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Shelf with Lights. After unboxing, I was impressed by the sleek design of the shelf. It was easy to assemble and mount on the wall.
The glowing color-changing feature was definitely a highlight, adding a unique touch to displaying my shoes. However, the sturdiness could have been better as I noticed slight wobbling when displaying heavier shoes.
Overall, the stylish and functional display made my top shoes more appealing, but could use some improvements in stability.

🔗Floating Shoe Rack for Displaying Unique Collections

https://preview.redd.it/30x59tzlei5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39f40e987abd10f34be46e8fff51a53775059b94
As a shoe enthusiast, I was thrilled to try this floating shoe display shelf. It's the perfect way to showcase my collection in a unique and stylish manner. The acrylic material provides a crystal clear view of my shoes, while also giving them a distinct "hovering" effect.
Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the pre-drilled holes and provided adhesives. The one-piece molding ensures sturdiness, and the shelf can easily be used to display other items too. However, be prepared to wait 24 hours after installing for the best results, and make sure to remove the protective film for full transparency.

🔗Stylish Floating Shoe Shelves for Displaying Your Collection

https://preview.redd.it/j87ybuzlei5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68453311484c82a454128fa4e04b7fff65593819
I recently had the opportunity to try out the X-FLOAT Clear Floating Sneaker Shelves. Let me tell you, it was quite a sight to behold! Each shelf can hold two shoes and fit US Men's size 6-13. What really stood out, aside from the clear acrylic shelf, was the floating effect, where the front of the shelf is hidden underneath, giving the shoes a seemingly weightless appearance.
The sturdy 1/4 inch clear acrylic construction does its job, but I have a small concern about the support for larger shoe sizes. Additionally, the included hardware could have been more organized during packaging to ensure a smoother installation experience.
Overall, the X-FLOAT Clear Floating Sneaker Shelves are a great addition to any shoe enthusiast's collection, providing both a unique display and easy storage solution.

🔗Elegant Floating Shoe Shelves for Shoe Display

The STAHMFOVER 6-Pack Floating Shoe Shelves have brought an exciting twist to my shoe display. The clear floating shelves create the illusion of levitation, a feature I've never experienced before. What sets these shelves apart is their design. They sit flush against the wall, seamlessly blending with the shoes on display. This not only adds an aesthetic appeal but also ensures a stable foundation for the displayed shoes.
Each shelf has the capacity to hold two shoes, catering to all shoe sizes up to 14. This flexibility allows me to customize the display, showing off my collection in the best light possible. The installation process was simple, with the shelves coming equipped with all necessary hardware. The pre-drilled holes and included drywall anchors made the job a breeze, protecting the wall and reducing damage.
A significant highlight of these floating shoe shelves is their durability. The 1/4-inch thick acrylic material is sturdy and can easily carry up to 6 pounds of weight. I've come to rely on these shelves for showcasing my beloved sneakers, and I've been quite satisfied with the results. However, one drawback I've noticed is that the shelves are slightly prone to fingerprints. A quick wipe with a cloth usually solves the issue, but it's something worth mentioning. Overall, these clear floating shoe shelves are an excellent addition to any shoe lover's collection.

🔗Elevated Floating Shoe Display Set for 5 Pairs

Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Set of 5 is an innovative product that has transformed the way I store my sneakers at home. The acrylic shelves effortlessly hold my shoes in the air, making them easily visible and accessible. The sturdy construction ensures that the display set remains stable, even when fully loaded with my collection.
Installing the Forzacx set was a breeze, and the included instructions made the process straightforward. I appreciate the ease of use, as it has saved me time in organizing my shoes and kept my space neat and tidy.
One of the best features of this product is its versatility. I've placed the Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Set of 5 in various areas of my home, including bedrooms and hallways, and it has significantly improved the aesthetic of these spaces. It not only serves as a functional storage solution but also adds a touch of elegance to my decor.
However, I have noticed that the acrylic shelves may require occasional dusting to maintain their transparency and appearance. Additionally, the product's weight capacity might be a concern for those with larger collections, as the weight of the displayed shoes could cause the shelves to sag if not supported properly.
Overall, the Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Set of 5 is a practical and attractive solution to showcase and organize sneakers in your living space. Its ease of installation, versatility, and sturdy construction make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a stylish and functional storage solution.

As a mom, I'm always on the lookout for organizational solutions for my growing collection of sneakers. When I stumbled upon STAHMFOVER's floating shoe shelves, I knew they were exactly what I needed. Not only did they have space for six pairs of shoes, but they also offered a floating effect that made my shoes look like they were defying gravity.
The installation process was a breeze, and the clear material allowed me to easily spot my favorite sneakers. However, I did notice that the product's structural integrity wasn't the sturdiest—my kids would sometimes bump into the shelves, causing them to sway precariously. Overall, these floating shoe shelves provided a unique and functional way to organize my sneakers, but their durability could have been better.

I recently tried the mDesign Metal Shoe Display & Storage Rack, and I was impressed with the smart design that keeps your shoes neatly organized. Each two-tier shelf holds a pair of shoes in place, and the slanted design ensures they won't slide off.
The open construction makes it easy to grab the shoes you need, and it's perfect for most shoe styles. However, I encountered an issue with a broken product, so I had to wait for a replacement.
Overall, the shoe display provides a stylish and practical storage solution.

Buyer's Guide

Floating shoe shelves provide an elegant and space-saving solution for storing footwear at home. As you consider purchasing these handy storage solutions, our guide will cover the essential features, considerations, and general advice to help you make the best decision.

Materials and Construction

https://preview.redd.it/3msuy9kpei5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39ad91a5ff0ff69688ad194c2d1df8ce19fa29b0
When browsing for floating shoe shelves, pay attention to the materials used, such as wood, MDF, or metal. Wooden shelves tend to be more durable and versatile, but they may require more maintenance. Metal shelves can be lightweight, easy to install, and low-maintenance, but they might not have the same aesthetic appeal as wooden shelves.

Weight Capacity

Consider the weight capacity of the shelves before making a purchase. Make sure they can support the total weight of your footwear without sagging or breaking. Look for shelving units with reinforced frames or brackets to ensure stability and durability.

Style and Aesthetics

Floating shoe shelves come in various designs, colors, and finishes. Consider your décor and choose a shelf that complements it. Some floating shelves even feature built-in handles or shelves for additional storage space, making them more functional and practical.

Installation and Maintenance

Some floating shoe shelves require assembly, while others may come pre-assembled. Make sure the shelving unit you choose is easy to install and doesn't require any drilling or mounting. As for maintenance, keep your shelves clean and dust-free, and periodically inspect them for any signs of wear and tear.

Space and Storage Considerations

Measure the space where you plan to install the shelves to ensure they fit perfectly. Also, consider the number and size of shoes you want to store and choose a shelf with appropriate dimensions. Finally, floating shoe shelves can double as a decorative feature, so don't be afraid to think outside the box in terms of placement and arrangement.

Quality and Brand Reputation

https://preview.redd.it/78g3mx2qei5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5064b6dc5df06c01078395b15e1538de1d73d71b
When choosing a floating shoe shelf, look for a reputable brand known for producing high-quality products. Check customer reviews and ratings to get an insight into the overall satisfaction of other buyers. A stable, durable, and well-designed shelf will provide you with a long-lasting and functional solution to your storage needs.

Budget

Finally, consider your budget when choosing a floating shoe shelf. While expensive options may offer superior quality and durability, there are also many affordable alternatives available that can still provide an efficient and attractive footwear storage solution.
By taking into account these key factors and features of floating shoe shelves, you can make an informed decision and select the best storage solution for your home.

2024.06.09 09:57 ryryog Get full error messages from clangd w/ lspconfig

I'm relatively new to neovim and so throughout the past several months I've been setting everything up, tweaking things as I like, but there's one thing that keeps bothering me (and is one of a few reasons my old IDE stays open alongside neovim).
I've the neovim lsp setup using lsp-zero along with lspconfig (and I have Trouble installed as well) and I get inline errors and warnings and so on, however I don't get all the information from my errors and warnings, especially more complicated ones.
For example, I was just messing around with the new C++ concepts and I've this example where in neovim I get the first line of the error, which reads:
Constraints not satisfied for class template 'stuff' [with BASE = Config::Setting::SettingBase] clang (template_arg_list_constraints_not_satisfied) [86, 5]
However in my old IDE (Qt Creator) using clangd, I get the following, with far more information:
settings.h:86:5: Constraints not satisfied for class template 'stuff' [with BASE = Config::Setting::SettingBase] settings.h:80:10: because 'Config::Setting::SettingBase' does not satisfy 'NeedSettingBase' settings.h:77:11: because 'base->getType()' would be invalid: member reference type 'Config::Setting::SettingBase' is not a pointer; did you mean to use '.'?
I have vim.diagnostic.open_float() mapped, so I guess my idea was that I would be able to configure things so that I could use the open_float() and get the multiline error message nice and easy to see, but I've searched around and I can't seem to hardly find any information on this.
For reference, this is what my lsp.lua file looks like right now:
(as an aside, I'm not sure what reason I have to be using `lsp-zero` anymore besides the fact that I don't know how to make the keymaps happen in the lspconfig on_attach, I've tried just moving the whole contents of the lsp.on_attach into my lspAttachFn, but no dice...)
local lsp = require('lsp-zero') lsp.preset('recommended') -- require('lsp_lines').setup() -- vim.diagnostic.config({ -- virtual_text = false -- }) local cmp = require('cmp') local cmp_select = { behavior = cmp.SelectBehavior.Select } local cmp_action = require('lsp-zero').cmp_action() cmp.setup({ window = { completion = cmp.config.window.bordered(), documentation = cmp.config.window.bordered(), }, mapping = cmp.mapping.preset.insert({ [''] = cmp.mapping.select_prev_item(cmp_select), [''] = cmp.mapping.select_next_item(cmp_select), [''] = cmp.mapping.confirm({ select = true }), [''] = cmp.mapping.complete(), }) }) vim.diagnostic.config({ virtual_text = true, signs = true, update_in_insert = true, underline = true, severity_sort = true, }) local capabilities = require('cmp_nvim_lsp').default_capabilities(vim.lsp.protocol.make_client_capabilities()) local lspConfig = require('lspconfig') local lspAttachFn = function(client, bufnr) require('lsp_signature').on_attach({ bind = true, floating_window = true, floating_window_above_cur = true, handler_opts = { border = 'rounded' } }, bufnr); end lspConfig.clangd.setup({ capabilities = capabilities, init_options = { clangdFileStatus = true, usePlaceholders = true, completeUnimported = true, sematicHighlighting = true, fallbackFlags = { '--std=c++17 -Wall' } }, flags = { debounce_text_changes = 150, }, cmd = { "clangd", "--background-index", "--clang-tidy", -- "--header-insertion=iwyu", "--completion-style=detailed", "--function-arg-placeholders", }, on_attach = function() lspAttachFn() end }) lspConfig.gopls.setup({ on_attach = lspAttachFn }) lspConfig.jdtls.setup({ on_attach = lspAttachFn }) lsp.on_attach(function(client, bufnr) local opts = { buffer = bufnr, remap = false } vim.keymap.set('n', 'gd', function() vim.lsp.buf.definition() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 'K', function() vim.lsp.buf.hover() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 'ws', function() vim.lsp.buf.workspace_symbol() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 'q', function() vim.lsp.buf.code_action() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 'rr', function() vim.lsp.buf.references() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 'rn', function() vim.lsp.buf.rename() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 'd', function() require('trouble').toggle('diagnostics') end) vim.keymap.set('n', 'D', function() vim.diagnostic.open_float() end) vim.keymap.set('n', 'c', function() require('trouble').toggle('quickfix') end) vim.keymap.set('n', 'M', function() vim.lsp.buf.signature_help() end, opts) vim.keymap.set('n', 's', function() vim.cmd('ClangdSwitchSourceHeader') end, opts) end) lsp.setup()

2024.06.09 09:56 Installme321 Speculative Calculations on T4 Engraving Level 4 and Ability Stone

We only have screenshots of T4 Ark Passive (Leap) UI from LOA livestream earlier so numbers might change for other engravings.
Using their numbers of T4 Grudge, it looks like the devs wants to change how backloaded the engraving numbers are so many if not all engraving with non-linear scaling (ie. KBW, PD, CD, and class engravings) will switch to a linear scaling in T4.
Grudge Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4
T3 4% 10% 20% N/A
T4 (Ark Passive) 12% 15% 18% 21%
For veterans player with Legendary Grudge maxed out, this is -2% damage to Boss when converting to T4, but for new players with Level 1, they get +8% damages to Boss when in T4. However, new players are not able to get to T4 without ilvl 1620 so there needs to be more raids for T4 to be more accessible, but at least the idea of T4 is there and very linear.
Interestingly, while it looks like Grudge need 5 engraving books to fill progress to level 4, I think it only fills a quarter of the level so 20 engraving books to get the fill level, but there are immediate steps in between. Again, it is very linear with a feeling of progression.
Engraving - Grudge New T4
Level % Damage to Boss
Level 1 (Baseline - 20 Rare Engraving Book Total?) 12%
Level 1.25 (5 Epic Engraving Book Total) 12.75%
Level 1.5 (10 Epic Engraving Book Total) 13.5%
Level 1.75 (15 Epic Engraving Book Total) 14.25%
Level 2 (20 Epic Engraving Book Total) 15%
Level 2.25 (5 Legendary Engraving Book Total) 15.75%
Level 2.5 (10 Legendary Engraving Book Total) 16.5%
Level 2.75 (15 Legendary Engraving Book Total) 17.25%
Level 3 (20 Legendary Engraving Book Total) 18%
Level 3.25 (5 Relic Engraving Book Total) 18.75%
Level 3.5 (10 Relic Engraving Book Total) 19.5%
Level 3.75 (15 Relic Engraving Book Total) 20.25%
Level 4 (20 Relic Engraving Book Total) 21%
Slightly confused on the number of rare engraving books are needed to unlock level 1 so I am assuming 20 engraving books like the old method. So if 15 out of 20 relic engraving books are consumed, then you are technically back to old T3 efficiency. For why there are quarter in level, I think it helps with the sense of progression since every books read helps in bundles of 5s rather then 20s.
Now for the Ability Stone, the devs carried over the same BS elixirs node scaling and applied it to the number of successful nodes. Luckily, the scaling of Level and node make sense.
T4 Ability Stones
Number of Successful Nodes Level Grudge +% DMG to Boss
0-5 0 0%
6 1 3% (*25% of Baseline - 12%)
7 2 3.75%
8 2 (Same) (Technically 4.50%)
9 3 5.25%
10 4 6% (*Doubled of Level 1)
Technically, Level 4 Relic Engraving Books and 10 successful nodes in T4 Ability Stone will net 27% DMG to Boss. Is 6% DMG to Boss worth it? Depends since Elixirs can also give DMG to Boss as well so it depends on other sources of damages modifiers (ie ATK Power, Crit Damage, Crit Rate, Skill Damage, etc.)
Now the speculative numbers of other engravings (ie. Adrenaline, Precise Dagger, KBW).
For engraving that scales linearly, I am assuming that it will continue to scale linearly.
Adrenaline already scales linearly so Level 4 would be 20% Crit Rate at max stack and 1.2 (or 1.3%) ATK Power per stack. Based on how the T4 Grudge Ability Stone Level 1 is technically 25% of Baseline Level 1 Grudge Engraving, I am assuming 1.25 Crit%, 0.075 ATK% at Level 1 Adrenaline Ability Stone and 2.5 Crit%, 0.150 ATK% at Level 4 Ability Stone with increments of 0.3125 Crit%, 0.01875 ATK%. Here the decimals are too low so they might round to the nearest thousandth.
Precise Dagger also has the same non-linear scaling as T3 Grudge (4%, 10%, 20% Crit Rate, -12% Crit DMG) so the numbers and max potential with Ability Stone of Precise Dagger would be 27% Crit Rate, -12% Crit Dmg.
Keen Blunt Weapon (KBW) is based on a blanket ratio on how Grudge changed from non-linear to linear.
Level T3 Grudge T4 Grudge Ratio (T4:T3) T3 KBW T4 KBW (Speculative)
1 4 12 3x 10 30
2 10 15 1.5x 25 37.5
3 20 18 0.9x 50 45
4 21 52.5
With how T4 Ability Stone work (Level 1 is 25% of Baseline Level 1 and Level 4 is 50% of Baseline Level 1), T4 KBW can cap at 67.5 Crit DMG% instead of 50 Crit DMG%
Here is the odd fact, the negatives effects of the engraving remains static (ie. Grudge will still have 20% incoming damage in all Levels), so technically PD and KBW keeps their negative effect static. So does can PD and KBW work as a stone in T4? Who knows? This is still speculative and depends on how classes work, but kinda fun to learn once KR has the numbers from their T4 update.
Short summary: Ability stones are more impactful in modifying engraving numbers while Relic books are to return back to old T3 engraving with a slight boost (%5 better). No idea on how class engraving books work since they are excluded from the Ark Passive (Leap) and in Ark Passive (Realization).

2024.06.09 09:31 Mousse_Embarrassed Laat Stridsfordon 120

Just got it in the loot boxes on Asia, my review-
Firepower: although the penetration is lesser than the strv 103-o, the 420 alpha seems nice. DPM is slightly( 91) lesser than 103-o. One of my favorite features is that premium ammo is HEAT with good shell velocity.
Armor: same as that of 103-o from the front and plays exactly like it, side armor is 10 mm less, overmatch is inevitable. in -1 the armor holds out damn well, 120+ mm guns are gonna overmatch the armor easily and HEAT shells are gonna punch through it like butter
Gun: 120 mm free gun( like that of udes 03) with APCR(1350 m/s, 290mm) , HEAT(1100 m/s, 330mm) , HE( 1100 m/s, 60mm). solid gun depression of -15(better than 103-0) and elevation of +17. can go -10 and +12 without siege mode, 0.02 better dispersion.
Mobility: 50/45 , lighter weight(20t) than 103-o, significantly weaker engine(340 HP)
Concealment: better than 103-o
Playstyle: plays pretty much like your average high tier Swedish TDs, the gun not being glued to the hull gives it more flexibility and HEAT allows targeting heavily angled surfaces, armor will hold out as long as you are not facing high caliber guns, mobility does it job most of the time.
Conclusion: more flexible than 103-o, best possible ammo loadout, gun can overmatch more than 103-o, lesser penetration on both standard and premium rounds might limit performance. I like it overall

🔗Tough Vault Takedown Rifle & Shotgun Case by Pelican

I recently discovered the Pelican V700 Vault Takedown Rifle and Shotgun Case, and it's truly a game changer for transportation of your beloved firearms. As an avid hunter, I appreciate that this case provides a high level of security, offering crushproof, dustproof, and weather resistant protection. The sturdy handles ensure your rifles or shotguns can withstand even the toughest conditions on your hunting trips.
One feature I particularly love is the presence of six push button latches that offer secure closure with easy-open access. This ensures your weapons are safe and secure while also making it convenient for you to access them when needed. The case also comes with specific foam designed to fit takedown firearms and related accessories, providing your gear with excellent protection during transportation.
However, like any product, there are some cons as well. The case is quite bulky and heavy, making it less ideal for those looking for a lightweight solution. Additionally, cutting and shaping the foam to fit your specific equipment can be time-consuming. Overall, despite its drawbacks, I would highly recommend this gun case to anyone in need of a reliable and resilient transportation solution for their takedown firearms.

🔗Durable, Crushproof Double Rifle Case

https://preview.redd.it/pa5ua0k1xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32f1c0d5618dcdf14a1c3e99e0e5b73498effdb7
I recently had the chance to use the Pelican V800 Vault Double Rifle Case in tan, and I must say it's been a game-changer in keeping my firearms safe and secure. The high-impact polymer exterior is not only incredibly durable but also has a sleek, modern look that I absolutely love.
One of the standout features for me is the customizable protective foam lining the interior. Having a secure fit for my rifles is so important, and this case makes it easy to create that level of protection. Plus, the added benefit of being crushproof, dustproof, and weather-resistant gives me peace of mind when traveling with my gear.
However, cutting the foam to fit my rifles exactly was a bit time-consuming and messy. It would have been nice if the case came with "pluck" foam, like some other brands offer, to make customization easier and less stressful.
In terms of ease of use, the handles are ergonomic and sturdy, making it comfortable to carry even when the case is fully loaded with scoped rifles. The wheels are also a great addition for those times when you need to roll your gear instead of lifting it.
Overall, the Pelican V800 Vault Double Rifle Case has been an excellent investment for keeping my firearms protected during transport. Its combination of durability, security features, and customizable foam make it a top choice for anyone in need of a high-quality rifle case.

🔗Durable 42" Tactical Rifle Hard Case for Secure Transport

https://preview.redd.it/gfgc9a02xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fb187f51e9f7d19c632d0191e80c414fc811549
As an avid hunter and shooting enthusiast, I've been using the MTM Case-Gard 42" Tactical Rifle Hard Case (let's call it the "42 Gun Case") for several months now. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. Despite the affordable price tag, I wasn't expecting much beyond basic functionality. However, this case has far exceeded my expectations.
The first thing that stood out to me was its sleek black exterior. It looks like something out of a spy movie, but it's not just a pretty face. This hard case is made from a combination of durable materials capable of withstanding even the toughest conditions. Whether I'm hiking through dense forest or driving down bumpy roads, my rifle stays safe inside this case.
Another feature I absolutely love is the interior padding. Not only does it secure my rifle, but it also prevents any scratches or bumps that could potentially damage it. The 42" length is perfect for accommodating various types of rifles, providing ample space for accessories too.
The latching system is another highlight. It keeps my rifle securely in place, even during rough transportation. Additionally, the padlock tabs add an extra layer of safety, providing peace of mind.
Despite its robust design, the 42 Gun Case is surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle. The molded-in handle is both comfortable and efficient, making it a great travel companion for my hunting trips and shooting practices.
However, there are a few minor drawbacks worth mentioning. The case isn't completely waterproof, which may be a concern for those planning on using it in wet environments. Additionally, the build quality is good, but the material is not as premium as some higher-end options.
All things considered, the MTM Case-Gard 42" Tactical Rifle Hard Case is a terrific choice for anyone in need of a reliable, protective rifle storage solution. Its combination of durability, security, and convenience make it stand out in the crowded market of gun cases. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a beginner shooter, this case offers excellent value for money.

🔗Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case

https://preview.redd.it/e94987b2xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=312a3894bb257a9a5576a907fb931c5665fe9afa
Experience the innovation of the Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case! This ground-breaking design revolutionizes how we store and maintain our firearms. The patented side flap allows for seamless access to your gun, while its HD2 material and water-resistant nylon interior liner provide top-notch protection. The adjustable shoulder strap, outer pocket for choke tubes, and sturdy snap fastenings make it the perfect companion for keeping your firearms safe, dry, and ready for action.
I've been using this case for some time now and I can't sing its praises enough. The side-flap feature is a game-changer; it made it incredibly easy to clean and dry my shotgun after a hunting trip. The interior is made of synthetic materials that don't absorb water or dirt, which is a lifesaver when your gear gets splashed with mud and water.
A small drawback I've noticed is that the exterior pocket can be a bit challenging to close if you're storing choke tubes. However, I suppose this is a minor concern given the case's overall performance and quality. The durability has been impressive; I've taken this case out in all conditions and it's held up beautifully.
In summary, the Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case is a brilliant and practical solution for storing and maintaining your firearms. Its innovative design, durable construction, and water resistance make it a must-have for hunters and shooting enthusiasts alike. Despite the minor issue with the exterior pocket, I wholeheartedly recommend this case for its performance and value.

🔗Avery Floating Gun Case for Waterfowl Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/s7etgwk2xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b33a21839f768357a0557fd616e44c1e13448f9
As an avid waterfowl hunter, I can safely say that the Avery Floating 2.0 Gun Case in Max5 camo has completely changed my game. I remember one chilly morning when my shotgun took an unexpected dip in the water. Thanks to the water-resistant DuraMax material of this case, I didn't have to worry about my trusty companion being ruined by the moisture.
What I especially love about this case is how it ensures protection in water with its floating design. It's like having a personal bodyguard for my precious shotgun! And let's not forget the adjustable shoulder strap which makes carrying this beast of a case incredibly comfortable.
However, there are two downsides to this otherwise fantastic gun case. Firstly, it tends to run on the smaller side, causing some issues when it comes to fitting in larger shotguns with extended chokes. Secondly, even though the material is strong and reliable, it does lack a little in terms of water resistance.
Overall, if you're looking for a solid and reliable gun case that will protect your shotgun from unexpected mishaps while you're out hunting, then the Avery Floating 2.0 Gun Case in Max5 camo is definitely worth considering. Just remember to check its compatibility with your specific shotgun first!

I've had the pleasure of using the Browning Waterfowl Floater 54-inch Shotgun Case Major Brown 1419509852 over the past year and it's been a game-changer. The heavy-duty design gives me peace of mind knowing my shotgun is well protected. As someone who often finds themselves on a boat hunting for ducks, the ability to trust this case to keep my gun safe from water damage is truly comforting.
One of the features that really stands out to me is the high-density closed cell foam padding. It ensures that my shotgun stays dry even if it does happen to fall into the water. The other day I accidentally dropped my case from my boat, and while my heart dropped along with it, I was relieved to see my beloved shotgun bobbing on the surface safely.
Another detail I appreciate about this case is the excellent quality of workmanship. The fabric is rugged and durable, able to withstand years of use without showing signs of wear. The web handles and hanging loop make it easy to carry and store when not in use.
However, there are some minor drawbacks. The detachable shoulder strap could use improvement; it tends to loosen over time and doesn't stay put as securely as I would like. Additionally, while the Browning Vintage Tan camo pattern is attractive, it might not be to everyone's taste.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Browning Waterfowl Floater 54-inch Shotgun Case Major Brown 1419509852. Its exceptional protection against water damage, high-quality construction, and stylish appearance make it an excellent choice for any serious waterfowl hunter. Despite its minor cons, this case has become an indispensable part of my hunting gear!

I'll start with my own personal story of using this product. I have been using the CASTLECREEK Handgun Display Case for a while now, and I must say it's been a delightful experience so far. The first thing that caught my eye was its beautiful design. The wood product with ash veneer gives it a very elegant look that has surely added charm to my man cave.
The glass-top lid is another highlight of this product. It keeps the contents dust-free and looking good until they're ready to be passed down to the next generation. And speaking of the next generation, the locking latches are a great feature to ensure your prized possessions remain safe and secure.
However, not everything was perfect. The green felt lining was a bit too firm for my liking, making it difficult to place items without compression. This didn't sit right with me, but with some modifications, I managed to make it work.
As for the price, I found it to be an amazing bargain. For the quality and features you get, the CASTLECREEK Handgun Display Case is a steal. However, make sure you order a short-barreled revolver as the box is a little short.
In conclusion, while there were some minor drawbacks, the CASTLECREEK Handgun Display Case has been a valuable addition to my collection. Its elegant design, locking latches, and glass-top lid make it a perfect choice for anyone looking to display their prized firearms or other valuable items.

The two rugged double-wide fold down handles make transporting the case hassle-free, while the 4 extra deep base-to-lid locking cleats provide maximum stacking stability. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the adjustable foam inserts, which allowed me to customize the interior to fit my specific gear. The case's interior dimensions are quite generous, making it perfect for storing long items like lighting stands or guitars.
The only downside I can think of is that the case can be quite heavy when filled with gear, so be prepared for some arm work while moving it around. Additionally, the price tag may be a bit steep for some, but considering the quality and durability of the case, it's definitely worth the investment for anyone looking to keep their valuable equipment safe and secure.
Overall, the Pelican 1770 Long Gun Case is a top-notch, high-quality product that has made a significant difference in protecting my valuable gear. Its impressive sturdiness and portability make it a must-have for anyone in need of a reliable case for their long items.

Buyer's Guide

Floating gun cases have become an essential and convenient accessory for those who frequently shoot and hunt, especially near water bodies. These cases protect your firearms from water damage and ensure safe transportation. In this buyer's guide, we will discuss some essential features, considerations, and general advice when purchasing a floating gun case.

Important Features to Consider

https://preview.redd.it/pl2rv475xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c0b09e7db1db73ac931d8fb73c4a6043ec613fc
  • Waterproof Construction: The primary purpose of a floating gun case is to provide watertight integrity. Look for cases with airtight seals and robust waterproof materials like vinyl or PVC.
  • Foam Cut-Outs: Internal foam padding will cushion your gun, keeping it immobile during transit. This prevents any movement-related damage and safeguards against shock impacts.
  • Size and Capacity: The gun case should be appropriately sized for your specific firearm. Consider cases that can accommodate additional accessories like scopes and bipods.
  • Storable Accessories: Some cases come with pouches or attachments to store ammunition, magazines, and cleaning kits, making them ideal for trips away from home.
  • Handle and Straps: To ensure easy handling and portability, pay attention to the type of handle or straps included with your case. Padded or ergonomic handles are more comfortable, while shoulder straps allow hands-free carrying.

Considerations When Buying a Floating Gun Case

  • Material Durability: Durable materials like heavy-duty polyethylene are more resistant to tears, rips, and punctures than cheaper alternatives.
  • Brand Reputation: Purchasing from a reputable manufacturer can guarantee a higher quality case with reliable performance and customer support.
  • Locking Mechanisms: A secure locking mechanism ensures that your firearms remain safely inside the case when stored or transported.

General Advice

  1. Before making a purchase, read customer reviews and assess the pros and cons of several models to help you make an informed decision.
  2. Always store your firearms and ammunition separately to prevent accidental discharge.
  3. Do not overload your floating gun case, as this may compromise its buoyancy and waterproof characteristics.

Drawn & Quarterly Upcoming Releases & Recent Licenses
(Updated June 8, 2024)
Drawn & Quarterly is a Canadian publisher that publishes a lot of alternative manga and Gekiga.
Please Note- this post does not include all upcoming releases, it only includes new starting manga with volume 1 or one shots that are yet to come out.

Yoshiharu Tsuge - Oba Electroplating Factory - August 12, 2024

https://preview.redd.it/hwk8qhlfuh5d1.jpg?width=1400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3575437e6b9807c5c04b4fc50a467d6dec3e838a
An alt-manga legend strikes out on his own, creating some of his most revealing and personal worksOba Electroplating Factory is a startlingly bleak but nonetheless captivating portrait of mid-century Japan in its most unglamorous iteration. Glimpses of the artist reflecting upon his life, his work, and his contemporaries pepper the narrative landscape: a wife teases her husband about a former fling on a trip to the hot springs, a young cartoonist is aghast at the cavalier conduct of his supposed betters, and imperfect men must grapple with the discomfort of their own honesty. Tsuge’s stories are studies in staging nature, working to evoke stillness and movement in such a way that renders his chosen setting a character all on its own.
Following the breakthrough success of Nejishiki, Yoshiharu Tsuge forges a path for autofiction in manga and changes the cultural landscape of comics forever. Some of his most revealing and personal works were published between 1973 to 1974. As much as it is a testament to the author’s predilection for addressing sensitive and mature themes in response to his culture, this volume also collects works from the only period in which Tsuge tries his hand at writing for a mainstream audience in earnest.
This fourth volume in the complete works of a legendary manga-ka is an indispensable addition to the literary comics canon and shining example of world literature at its most human.

Shigeru Mizuki - Yokai: The Art of Shigeru Mizuki - October 14, 2024

https://preview.redd.it/kpnqg2nmuh5d1.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff6810653955fdc55f72b94b780283d75df39178
Manga’s most beloved creator ventures into Japan’s mythical past and emerges with a menagerie unlike any other
Shigeru Mizuki is no stranger to the supernatural and its portents. Kitaro and Tono Monogatari reimagined the obscure folktales of his youth, bringing them to life with whimsy. Mizuki the cartoonist certainly left an indelible mark on comics as world literature. Mizuki the fine artist, on the other hand, rounds out the full scope of his fascination with the otherworldly and fantastic, bringing these worlds to life in robust color.
Yokai: The Art of Shigeru Mizuki showcases his expertise of not only folklore, but celebrates him as a naturalist. Elements of Mizuki’s lush compositions—flora, fauna, and everything in between—showcase his mastery of form and love for nature. These popular renderings of a disappearing, rural Japan are his contribution to the preservation of a cultural heritage that would have otherwise been forgotten. The grotesque realism central to his body of work is offset by the ingenuity of his fancy for the macabre. Pieces in this deluxe, full-color edition call to mind the playful pop-sensibility of Maurice Sendak informed by the technical prowess of traditionalists like Dürer and Doré. And like any other Mizuki classic, each oeuvre is a unique snapshot of spirit, human or otherwise, in constant transition.
Yokai: The Art of Shigeru Mizuki includes supplementary writing by acclaimed Mizuki scholar and translator Zack Davisson.

Shirato Sanpei - The Legend of Kamui 1 - January 14, 2025 (Total 10 Volumes)

https://preview.redd.it/sb82cuxquh5d1.jpg?width=1667&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=795c5b8097287fcc45665e19cea9eaf558635cd6
The iconic series that launched the alt-manga bible GARO becomes available in English for the very first time.
At long last, manga titan Shirato Sanpei’s groundbreaking epic makes its way into English. Celebrated as a watershed of both the Japanese counterculture and dramatic, longform storytelling in manga, The Legend of Kamui serves up clashing swords and class struggle to create a timeless political allegory set in feudal Japan. This ten-volume series is a must-have for fans of samurai and ninja manga and anime, and of other giants of postwar manga like Tezuka Osamu, Mizuki Shigeru, Tsuge Yoshiharu, and Lone Wolf and Cub’s Kojima Goseki.
It’s the 17th century in Japan. Child outcast Kamui lives on the fringes of a miserably stratified society. Fueled by pure grit, rage, and a dash of cunning, his only way out is to take up the mantle of ninja. Follow scrappy peasants, cold-blooded ninja, and warriors both disgraced and exalted as they navigate the unforgiving hardships of a violent yet hopeful age. With its vivid and critical attention to social injustice and environmental issues against a backdrop of heart-pounding action and romance, this multilayered gekiga drama not only redefined ninja and samurai fantasy, it also offers astonishing parallels with the modern day.
Originally serialized between 1964 and 1971 in the legendary alt-manga magazine GARO, The Legend of Kamui is translated by social historian and decorated academic Richard Rubinger.

Pasted Code Above
I have been using Adafruit QT Py ESP32-S3 dev boards as dedicated CPT I2C Surface Temperature sensors for my controller application.
While doing some updates I ported over to an Adafruit ESP32-S3 Reverse TFT Feather with an integrated LCD to display the Surface Temperature live and decided to implement a few extra screens to show other information via the Feather's UI buttons.

I stripped out the I2C code to share here in case anyone else might be interested in a cheap DIY CPT companion display.
Note that I BLE scan based on the MAC address of the CPT and subscribe to the GATT Probe Status Service.
So you need to enter the MAC address of your CPT where indicated or use a different method.
The virtual screen bezel flashes blue while it is communicating with the CPT.
The information from the Probe Status Service may differ slightly from what is shown in the app.
For example, the raw temperature data comes in +/- .05 degrees C which I round, versus the app truncates.
And BTW, the units are in native Celsius...sorry.
You will need to do some conversions if you want Fahrenheit.
The screens were also implemented very simply, so the last page only shows Prediction Time Remaining, Food Safe Status, Target Log Reduction and the reported Current Calculated Log Reduction.

If want more information you will have to add pages on your own.
Or if you want to use MeatNet and/or the Nordic UART Service for more direct communication with the CPT maybe this can help get you started.
I needed to keep it as simple as possible for my application needs...
