Hey all! After watching the show a couple times, I wanted to discuss one of my biggest questions from the season. We still don't know much about Alastor's past, but from what we do know, I think we can start to piece together why the Radio Demon is able to stand so far above the rest of his peers:
After all, it's been stated a couple times now that Alastor was far more powerful than your average demon--or even overlord for that matter--directly after manifesting in Hell. I feel like this can be pretty safely said as it is mentioned both in the pilot episode and in-season. This is especially impressive when you stop to consider that Alastor even gave Adam, the oldest human soul, a run for his money in their battle during the finale. It seems to me that these couple of things are the biggest red flags indicating that our favorite antler-headed demon knows something about boosting his demonic powers.
To start answering this question, we can begin with the main methods we already know of for demons/angels to aquire more power:
A. Survive as a supernatural being for a long period of time, naturally becoming more powerful as time passes.
B. Make a soul deal with another entity--either gaining ownership of another soul like we see with Valentino and Angel Dust or by receiving a portion of the dealer's power like we see with Husker and Alastor.
Well, we know that the first way can't be why the Radio Demon is stronger than average as he is able to rip Hell a new one as soon as he ended up there. There are also older souls such as Sir Pentious who are far weaker than Alastor without contest. This then leaves a soul deal as the easiest solution for this dilemma. After all, it is established that he struck some sort of deal as Husk says so in Dad Beat Dad and even Alastor himself in his solo during the season finale. However, while deal-making is I think the more likely option as to Alastor's above-average strength, I believe that the deal mentioned here was made following his defeat at the hands of the V's seven years prior to the show's start in order to save his own life. So, how then..? Well, I think the answer lies in Alastor's life as a human.
The main things we know about the Radio Demon's Earth-bound life are as follows:
  1. Has Creole heritage as implied in the pilot episode
  2. Hosted a popular radio show
  3. Was a Serial killer who operated within some sort of moral code
3a. Might have been a cannibal
  1. Died after being accidentally shot in the head by a hunter who mistook him for a deer while out disposing of a corpse
Bearing these things in mind, my working hypothesis is thus: I believe that because of Alastor's heritage and what we know of his murderous tendencies, that he was engaging in soul deals via some type of voodoo related practice while he was alive, giving him a head start in Hell as he already had several souls in his possession prior to his death. This is because such rituals and deals are prominent in Creole culture/myth as it is from these myths that the modern zombie is derived. Though I can't say anything for sure regarding the terms of these deals, my first thought is that our cloven-hoofed friend met with poor or similarly disenfranchised people (most likely women considering what we've learned from Vivziepop regarding his stance on the sexes) and agreed to kill those who wronged them in exchange for their soul, the offender's soul, or even both. I feel like this would most easily explain his abundance of power while still keeping in theme with his portrayal as an anti-villian.
/Tl;dr-- Alastor used voodoo rituals while still alive to get some souls under his belt before he ever made it to Hell to begin with./

INTRO
you wanna sit back, relax, and let summons do the ass whooping for you? Then this party composition is for you! this build comes online in act 3 and requires learning a few scrolls, but after that, you won't need to use a single potion until the elder brain.

to get to act 3 you gotta beat myrkul, so here is 4 naked tempest clerics making ketheric wonder if he should change gods again. just cast sanctuary, help aylin, then wet and call lightning. feats are alert and tough
ACT 3
alright for the summon build to come online you gotta get to level 12 first, kill and explore for xp
LEVELS
1 wizard, 11 life cleric (any cleric would do) feats alert and tough, stats 12 dex, 14 con, 16 wis, 16 int (you want 16 int so you have four wizard spell slots available)
SCROLLS NEEDED - buy at sorcerer sundries, always available
4x cloud of dagger scrolls, 4x haste scrolls, 4x summon elemental scrolls, 4x summon minor elemental scrolls, learn these scrolls and and prepare them, do long rests to restore stock
KEY CLERIC SPELLS
sanctuary- very important
aid - more hp for summons
planar ally - djinn, the best summon in the game!
insect plague - situational
heroes feast- A MUST for orin and cazador, fear and naseous. give up one djinn
THE COMBO!
  1. activate turn based mode
  2. cast 1 level 5 cloud of daggers near your target, 3 haste to 3 djinns, 4 santuary to party members, START BATTLE!
  3. thunderwave, thunderwave, thunderwave pushing enemies to cloud of daggers, and thats pretty much it. you can push them out and then in again to trigger cloud of dagger damage multiple times.

i recommend using some potions for this one, its the final fight after all, should still be possible without thanks to divine intervention.
step by step
  1. get 1 invisible potion, 1 flying potion, and a bunch of haste potions
  2. respec 1 follower before riding boat
  3. buy angelic slumber potion from lizard and level up one at a time to restore lizard stock
  4. kill the mini absolute army, then use angelic slumber to replenish spell slots and summons
  5. use fly and invisible potion to skip the stair fight
  6. make djin(deva might be better here cause they have fly) and air myrmidon drink haste potions on their turn by opening group inventory and drinking haste potion, the unit name will show up.
  7. kill dragon and everything
  8. use the BONKERS skill called DIVINE INTERVENTION and full heal and restore all spell slots when needed.
  9. kill elder brain.

next no gear build is probably gonna be sorcerer, i'll probably make use of tadpoles on this one. should be fun.

You walk into a bloody alleyway at dusk, holding your weapon tightly. You can only assume an angel caused this damage. Angels are a constant in your world, always responsible for acts of massacre. They aren’t nearly as ‘angelic’ as they sound, eating humans for fun and wreaking havoc on the human world. As you walk through the alleyway, you eventually encounter what you’re looking for.
“Ugh, really? Can’t a girl have a snack without being bothered..? Eh, whatever, you look tasty.” She says, holding herself up with her oversized fork, blood dripping from her mouth.

2024.05.15 01:01 New-Log-7938 List very important coincidences in Jujutsu Kaisen.

It seems in manga Kenjaku and Sukuna got very lucky regarding some of their decisions such as Kenjaku employing Toji for killing Star Plasma Vessel or Sukuna gambling his transfer from Yuji to Megumi. Is this just coincidences or something much more? I am making list of important coincidences which had led to present day battle between Sukuna and Yuji.
1) Kenjaku becoming part of fate which consists of Tengen, Star-Plasma Vessel and Six-Eyes User.
2) Gojo was strongest and most talented user of Six Eyes, but under him for first time merger between Tengen and Star Plasma Vessel didn't happened.
3) Kenjaku possess Geto's body simultaneously getting Curse-Spirit Manipulation which is important for Culling Game.
4) Incarnation of Sukuna on Yuji's body who is Sukuna's nephew/son.
5) Kenjaku also got Idle Transfiguration (important to start Culling Game) from Mahito who was subjugated by Yuji.
6) Narrator calling Yuji "Blessed One", on other side Angel calling Sukuna "Fallen One".
There could be many such coincidences in manga but for now I could think of this.

2024.05.15 00:46 Shot_Sir6720 Beat Stella Glow for the first time and I bought it at launch.

I bought the launch edition way back in 2015 simply because I was walking through best buy and thought it looked cool. It sat in my room unopened until this year. I think it is great. I love all of the different characters and how they have different personalities. I love how each character you can bond with and unlock new abilities and I love how each character is utilized or at least required to use in a few battles. The battles are fun and and you have special conditions, some of which can be pretty tough but a lot are simple. You night want to turn off battle cutscenes. It is fun to see a characters new skill for maybe one or two times but after that it gets old. There are a few obnoxious things about this game I found. When the ai runs your battle. There was a few missions like this. When you had to protect Sakuya and the ai is stupid. I found the Xeno and Giselle battle with the harbingers obnoxious as well and it took me many tries. First of all you have no idea the harbingers have plot Armour and can't die. The mission says you fail if any ally is defeated, so you waste time healing them. Then when I don't want to deal with Giselle yet they move to close to her and she starts to battle me way too early. I also hated hoe apparently you have to Max our Klaus infinity to a certain point to get the true ending which is stupid I wouldn't have known to do that. I purposely didn't speak with him because the story is kind of predictable and I thought he wasn't great in battles. Like I said the plot is okay, a bit cliche but still entertaining. I think Alto is kind of at fault though. Alto never once asks any meaningful questions as to why the harbingers are doing this, or even questions why angels are helping them. He is even alone with Hilda at one point. I can't really place blame on the harbingers, yes Hilda didn't say much until the anthem but like she says would anybody listen to her? Hrodulf even tries to recruit Rusty. I just don't think Alto is that good of a character because of this. Perhaps Veronica could have stopped this too but I won't get into that. Anastasias death kind of seemed... forced? In my opinion. We see Lisette trying to heal her with song which she can do in battle but not now, and with no explanation. Did they take too long? That being said I still pleasantly enjoyed this game, and it is a shame we will probably never get a remake or anything seeing as the publishers went bankrupt.

▪ Blackhole continues to be on the top of the leaderboard. Their opponents were the veterans from Dominus. Both clans found it relatively easy to score 24 stars each. However, Blackhole did exceptionally well with this task. Not only did they attack almost in full force, but they also destroyed the enemy fleet literally in the first few minutes of the war. Over nine consecutive attacks, Blackhole took down WingMk2, Revenant, SparrowMk2, Krigerskold, EidolonMk2, Achilles, ElkMk2, and MiranMk2. The first among BH to attack was Commander RomeSor22. Moreover, the attacks were carried out in a relatively short time - 4 minutes and 52 seconds. All of this secured the victory for Blackhole. Moving on.
▪ Many Arena spectators awaited this showdown. And here it happened. TheFinalFrontier faced off against the main Xaoc roster. Literally an hour after the war began, TFF launched their first five attacks and destroyed Kabuto, Achilles, Revenant, and Krigerskold. Shortly thereafter, Xaoc also attacked and destroyed ElkMk2, Krigerskold, EidolonMk2, and WingMk2. Commander Laurelinˣᵃᵒᶜ almost managed to take down Achilles, but it survived and was only destroyed with two stars left. On the other hand, TFF didn't immediately figure out the weaknesses in the build of Commander [Xaoc]ЧумовойDi on SparrowMk2. Both of these moments could have greatly influenced the outcome of the war. The final score was 24:24, and the Arena Manager began to count the attack times of both clans. After the count, the victory was awarded to TheFinalFrontier - they conducted their attacks 46 seconds faster. It seems that next time Xaoc will reduce this time to a couple of seconds or even win...
▪ Representatives of Unity won their last war against the Hades clan with a score of 24:6. However, that's not the main point. Right after the end of the last war, a Commander with level 60 joined them. This led to Unity registering for the next war and facing a clan with Commanders unlocked with the Galactic Carrier class. And that clan turned out to be... TheFinalFrontier. That's the Arena way and how the karma works here.
▪ We wonder how the representatives of BurnToDeft assessed the strength of the ЗЕМЛЯНЕ clan before their battle? The latter definitely have room to grow, and they are on the right path. This time the clans conducted 54 attacks each. BTD quickly dealt with the defensive builds of MiranMk2, Krigerskold, and SparrowMk2 right from the start. Commander TASYA2024 also did quite well, taking down the enemy Kabuto. But the ЗЕМЛЯНЕ representatives still lack experience in quickly conducting attacks. This is evident from the final results - BurnToDeft dealt with all enemy ships in 7 minutes and 8 seconds, while ЗЕМЛЯНЕ took 23 minutes and 20 seconds. And there were difficulties with the enemy Achilles of Commander [Deft]Captain - after 7 attacks, it wasn't even scratched. However, [Deft]Kaa managed to shoot down the well-upgraded Revenant of Commander [Deft]Kaa for one star. The final score was 24:19 in favor of BTD.
▪ It's quite possible that representatives of КосмоФлот will join the "AntiSparrow" coalition in the future. We analyzed the results of their war against YourFace. Both clans performed confidently this time. The turnout for the war was also high. However, closer to the middle, КосмоФлот encountered difficulties in bypassing the defense of SparrowMk2 of Commander 天切再不斬. On the 11th attack, КосмоФлот found a loophole in the build, but it only resulted in the ship being destroyed by 1/3 star. In the end, this ship stood in defense and prevented КосмоФлот from winning. The score was 24:22 in favor of YourFace. And here is the list of Commanders who conducted their attacks for 3 stars and ensured victory. HQ counted three Commanders: AnOgreFace, alternatiwe, and Klippe.
▪ The main Xaoc roster this season has undoubtedly attracted the attention of many opponents and Arena experts. But what about the second roster? They faced off against the AofA clan. Credit to Xaoc - they performed excellently against a top10 clan consisting of veterans and top players. However, they still lack experience and firepower. This is evidenced by the final score - 24:18. In favor of the Angels of Apocalypse this time. An interesting fact: [AofA]Shadow conducted his first attack already 7 minutes after the war began.
▪ The Єдність clan continues to attack clans, freezing their own upgrade progress. Their latest opponent was TheRejected clan, which lost to them with a score of 24:3. Is there a chance that a high-level Commander will also join the Єдність clan and thwart their plans to conquer the top 10 leaderboard? Anything is possible!
▪ And here, Domination was unlucky towards the end of the season. They faced the cunning engineers from Koreans. In a short time, representatives of this clan adapted their builds to destroy the enemy fleet. Unfortunately, Domination couldn't do the same. The final score was 24:10. Let's commend the efforts of Commanders eDs, [DOM]kozdo, and toasty001 - they were the first to completely destroy the Koreans' ships, namely WingMk2, MiranMk2, and ElkMk2.
As usual, here are the winners among the top 20 clans that were not mentioned by the HQ.
💡 The "Just to Be Sure!" Achievement goes to Escape-Velocity - they conducted 38 successful attacks against WARP. They also receive the "Not very quick, but consistent" Achievement - they conducted their attacks in 18 minutes and 17 seconds.
💡 The "Speedy Fleet" achievement goes to the HYDE clan. They won in 7 minutes and 59 seconds against NeVeR.

Hello, everyone!
Through this post I wish to relay my interpretation of Clockie's adventures abroad The Compass. It is, as told by Pisce, a summary of all the adventures of Clockie. We all know by now that The Watchmaker: Mikhail Char Legwork, is the author of Clockie's adventures. And he wished throughout the series to relay his adventures with the Nameless to us, in a way that would stand the erosion of time...? Regardless, this is what I could make out of it: (If you have an inquiry as to why I took certain interpretations that aren't so obvious, please comment bellow, or contact me, and I'll do my best to explain it to you)
Greenhorn
Our story starts when the astral express embarked toward a new journey. Its hull was damaged, but thankfully Mikhail, the mechanic, managed to repair it in time, and saved everyone abroad the express. That’s when, as a reward, the astral express's navigator: Falcon Amundson gave him his pocket watch.
The astral express arrived at an unknown destination, ravaged by snowstorms, and the strong gust of wind blew the navigator’s hat away. Mikhail set off to retrieve it on his own and returned it to its rightful owner with a shivering smile. In this world where the sunlight grows dimmer every day, The Nameless’ trailblazing expedition led them to discover the truth behind the disaster: a swarm had engulfed the sun! Blocking the sunlight in their wake.
The people of the blizzard begged the Nameless to take them away through the astral express. Their resources were almost depleted in this frozen world. The trailblazers had to lie to the people about their incapability to rally them against the swam, which worked magnificently.
The people, rallied by the express crew, fought valiantly against the swarm disaster. But fighting them off was not enough, the Astral Express’s navigator had to lure the remaining monstrosities away somehow. He dragged the brim of his hat and set off toward the sun, -- probably after finding a True Sting Overlord like the one appearing in Argenti’s story quest -- luring the swarm away with him.
As the sun scorched their bodies, they exploded, destroying the entirety of the swarm. Such a feat, however, did not come without sacrifices. Despite the sun and heat returning to the people, that day marked the last day the express crew would see their beloved navigator.

Crème de la crème
The astral express continues its journey and finds itself at the Garden of Recollection’s domain. As we all know, they don’t welcome outsiders. The crew was stopped outside the palace, and Mikhail had no choice but to help the crew find a way out of this predicament. That’s when he made a certain discovery which would allow him to mimic the garden’s royalties, sending him to the heart of the imperial palace where he’ll be setting off on a new adventure!
As he strolled the palace’s halls at night, he bumped into a rather curious lady. She was Razalina, the “princess” of the palace of recollection, and she spoke to Mikhail about her vast knowledge of the garden’s technologies. She was most studious and knowledgeable, but she had never left the palace before... To reciprocate, Mikhail told her about the nameless, their explorations, and trailblazing expeditions throughout the cosmos. Their adventures were known far and wide, and it made Razalina yearn for such an adventurous life outside.
As time went on, Mikhail too started to miss the journey on the Astral Express. He decided to sneak his way back in, but he couldn’t get his newly formed connection with Razalina off of his mind. He wished to have her join them abroad the Express. Little to his knowledge, Razalina has already made her way abroad, and acquainted herself with the crew, who wholeheartedly accepted her arrival. They threw a feast in her name to welcome a new member to the path of the trailblaze. She then became the crew’s cartographer, charting out the cosmos, and allowing the Astral express to move farther and farther into the stellar sea.
Her exit from the realm of memo keepers was not granted, her father – the king – sent a large number of troops to hunt down the Astral Express, but due to their large ignorance of the realm outside the mirrors, they had to withdraw when the crew destroyed dozens of memoria-formed objects in a grand display of strength.
The crew then embarks on a new journey into a world which sought their help. The residents of said world beseeched the Astral Express crew to help them stop Tiernan from hurting their leader, claiming that he planned on “burning down” the village to do so.
Razalina and Mikhail took up the residents’ request, facing Tiernan in battle. But then, they learn the identity of “the real bad guy”. Tiernan explained that the leader planned to use the “fire” to back up the residents into a corner, selling off all their lands to the IPC.
When the crew reported back to the people about their leader’s ploys with the IPC, they took an odd stance to stand with their leader, thinking “It’s not that bad to work with the IPC”.
Following this event, Tiernan alongside the express crew, were promptly kicked out of this community. That’s when the crew relayed its wishes for Tiernan to join them. He gladly accepted the position abroad the Astral Express, quickly making friends with the other crewmates, and vowing to protect them as the new Guard of the Astral Express.
Mikhail, Razalina, and Tiernan quickly became inseparable. Despite their whimsical nature, which constantly put them into trouble, they showed a great display of wits whenever problems would arise.
They went on journeying the cosmic sea, finding hidden treasure inside a tomb, constantly helping to fight off the swarms, spending all their hard-earned cash on trips of leisure, and always flooding the Astral Express’ repositories, causing much trouble to the conductor.
One day, as they journeyed the stars, they received an invitation from the IPC to discover the secrets of a certain Stellaron disaster at what we now call “Penacony”. They couldn’t refuse the invitation due to previous debts they had with the IPC... That’s when Mikhail started helping Razalina with collecting information in a hurry to embark on this new journey. He discovered that this new region was actually a prison!
Eve of Departure
The night before arriving to “Penacony”, Mikhail had a strange dream about “a sea of fire”, “a swathe of darkness”, “a vast wasteland”, and “a glorious paradise”. It was a very long dream, spamming 1111 hours! (It is important to note that “The angel number 1111” is a symbol of “Leadership, New Beginnings, and Spirituality” etc...)
Truly, the symbolism here pretty much dictates all the happenings leading to modern day Penacony.
