My book is finished!
2024.06.07 23:01 GRichard666 My book is finished!
I wrote a science fiction romance book and I finally finished it. It takes place in the future where the Earth is dying and the aliens that come save it all because they find a video tape on an abandoned space station. The tape they find is Debbie Does Dallas. My MC is a human girl who wants to be successful in her career but also dreams of falling in love. Her favorite book is The Princess Bride and hopes one day to be swept off her feet. She works as an assistant to a director in the porn industry and someday wants to direct herself. The story takes place on a space station called Felicity and she finds what she was looking for was in front of her the whole time.
The book is called Universe of Passion and it is on Amazon.

2024.06.03 20:15 Womantree1 Today I learned that Freemasons have Masonic programs for children.
DeMolay is part of the "family" of Masons and associated organizations. They are a youth group for young men. DeMolay alumni have gone on to achieve wide recognition outside of the organization. Actors, astronauts, mayors, governors, even presidents(Bill Clinton).
DeMolay International is an international fraternal organization for young men ages 12 to 21. There is in some select area a "Squire" program for those younger than 12. It was founded in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1919 and named for Jacques de Molay, the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar. DeMolay was incorporated in the 1990s and is classified by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. It has about 12,000 active members spread throughout every continent except for Antarctica.

2024.05.15 23:09 TradedMedia Hines And Trez Capital Secure $108M New York Life Loan For Self Storage Portfolio
The
Self Storage Portfolio transaction in Dallas-Fort Worth secured financing for a 13-property self-storage portfolio across various cities including Allen, Arlington, Carrollton, The Colony, Dallas, Duncanville, Lancaster, Plano, Sachse, and Wylie. The loan amount for this transaction was $108,000,000 with five-year, fixed-rate, interest-only payments, and prepayment flexibility, involving
New York Life as the lender.
Summary of transaction details:
- Property Type: Self Storage
- Transaction Amount: $108,000,000
- Address: Multiple locations in Allen, Arlington, Carrollton, The Colony, Dallas, Duncanville, Lancaster, Plano, Sachse & Wylie
- Market: Allen, Arlington, Carrollton, The Colony, Dallas, Duncanville, Lancaster, Plano, Sachse & Wylie
- Landlord: Robb DeJean - Hines; John Hutchinson - Trez Capital
- Brokers: John Bauman & Jordan Buck - JLL
The joint venture between Hines and Trez Capital played a significant role in securing the financing for the self-storage portfolio. Hines, a Houston-based real estate investor and developer, collaborated with Trez Capital, a Vancouver-based financing provider, to work with JLL Capital Markets and New York Life Real Estate Investors for this transaction. 2024.04.19 21:30 Wolfman5155 Theodore Robert Cowell: Ted Bundy
2024.04.18 18:38 ProteusMichaelKemo After 10 Months Transformation Becomes INEVITABLE and CONTINUOUS
First, excuse the almost 'paper-life' format. It just helps me organise my thoughts.
10 Months Of SR (And Transformation) Summary: Here's what I learned after 10.5 MONTHS - Short term benefits are great and groudbreaking.
- Long term benefits are outstanding and life changing.
I'll aim to make this post very practical, highly spirititual, somewhat mystical, but easily applicable with any goals or purpose you have may, associated with YOUR SR Journey.
Firstly, the #1 Book on SR, for me, is:
GodMan The Word Made Flesh (First Published: 1920, By Dr. George W. Carey and Inez Eudora Perry (authors of 'The Wonders of the Human Body' and 'The Chemistry of Life') (2013 version) This is where I've learned the most, and most of what I'm sharing here:
NOTES AND QUALIFIERS
What is a relapse?
TO ME, a relapse is P.M.O. That's it. End of. Not nocturnal emissions or anything that can be considered involuntary. If one LOOKS at pron, to me, it's not a relapse. I DON'T suggest it, and only into Month 8 did I eliminate that behaviour for a full month. If YOU need to identfy that as a relapse, that's fine.
It's up to you to set your level of limits or tolerance to the sexual act, itself. Some people want to go celibate. Some just want "a partner". Whatever. All journey and different, valid, and personal to each. So I don't subscribe to one view as being "THE VIEW". These are all just observations and suggestions that worked for me. Take what resonates, and leave the rest behind.
With that said, I do not consider consentual encounters as "relapses". This is primarilly because, retaining is a lifestyle, not a race, or a countdown clock, or even a marathon. That's really the entire point to this post. If you read nothing else, then, you can stop reading here if that helps with motivation. Think of it as a lifestyle, not just 'a day'.
If YOU want to have encounters once a month, but refrain from PMO, great. Perhaps, instead, you may be someone who NEEDS to stay away from all forms interaction related ANY aspect of P.M.O. That's fine, too. It's what works best for you.
With that said, I haven't relapsed, since 10 months. Now, let me make one thing very clear. During my PMO days, it was the worst. On a scale of 1-10, I'd say it used to be an 11+. So, I am by NO MEANS implying that it's easy. IT'S NOT.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
I. 1st KEY - Perspective
The first key to LONG TERM SR, is to shift your perspective from STREAK to LIFESTYLE. Counting days can be very motivational, yes - b
ut DO you count the amount of days in a row you had coffee, checked your weekly news feed, or went on instagram? NO. Of course not. Because these are aspects of your LIFESTYLE. Adapt the same perspective with SR.
It's just 'who you are'.'
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
II. 2nd KEY - Energy
a) Redefination of "Semen/Liquid" to Life Force The second key is to think of what your retaining more as ENERGY. Redefine it as life force. Because, really, it its core, that's what it is; Life Force Energy. Now, this may get a little esoteric, so hang on here.
I suggest to follow Tesla's quote with seeing all as energy.J ust a reminder that this isn't the ONLY perspective. This is just my suggestion.
So, if you understand the idea that this liquid (semen) is more than just a liquid. It's energy that expands and continously is recreated within us. We know this because we used to take it to the tank daily/weekly/monthy, multiiple times etc, with PMO. Next:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
b)
Embrace the Science Now consider the fact that you were created out of a drop of what you are now daily retaining. This, we know, thanks to science. Liquid enters embroyo. Blah blah science stuff. All woo-woo aside, already, we see the POWER of this incredible molecule that WE at one point impulsively, blindly and excessivly, squeeezed (quite literally) out of our system for the sake of temporary sensual pleasure staring at Debbie Does Dallas. The science behind it? Low phosophorous levels, (or matter of the brain), depletion of nutrients, needed for motivation, and executive brain functioning etc etc etc
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
c)
Results Of Retaining This Powerful Molecular Beast Of A Liquid: So, this liquid, we see - at the very simplest level, is something that grows. It germinates. We, at one point were all just one TINY element of that molecule, and here we reading, daily, on this form how the world, both within and without, for many after retaining this liquid, EXPANDS like never before.
For some:
- After xxx amount of months, they see the PHYSICAL GAINS, after using their added ENERGY to estabilish some workout regimen.
- For others who may be dating, whilst on SR - they may find more cultivating relationships, after dropping PMO for many months.
- For others, their business, or social circle expands, 'suddenly'
Did you ever notice that, at the height of your PMO days, things that you started, didn't quite meet their fullest potential to get to that 'next level', or to a sense of accomplisment?
That's because we, at that point, did NOT allow this precious liquid to germinate, to grow.
d)
A Digression So, at the VERY BASIC LEVEL - one does NOT need to dip deep into the world of quantum physics, or the deepest layer of metaphysics, astrology, or the ancient arts - If you just simply look at this liquid as more than just a 'daily retention of semen' - but look at it as CULTIVATING CREATIVE ENERGY THAT GROWS/EXPANDS BY NATURE ---- or, just "Energy", then you allow your consciousness, or perspective to to a long term vision.
For those of you familiar with RPGs; You find items, and retain. Imagine if
Super Mario just shot all of his fireballs at once!?! We'd never know about this hero of the mushroom kingdom. Now, there's movies made after him.
Anyway. I digress.
So there you have it. You don't need to dive deep into the estoteric for some giant mind altering spiritual joureny of expansion and actualisation of life to get the most from SR...
....BUT, it sure did help me. So, now to the third key. This is the main event. So, if you've made it this far, then, that's pretty damn cool.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
III. 3rd KEY - WHERE THE SPIRITUAL AND SCIENCE MEET
https://preview.redd.it/2z8gb580g9vc1.png?width=500&format=png&auto=webp&s=9581eb582035bbcc8e8caf40fefa2966527adff5 a)
Background: When I was REALLY young, I had a cognitive dream. Plus, I kept having flying dreams. So, I was always interested in Astrology and all that stuff. BUT, I grew up in a very conservative household. So, I need(ed) scientific proof for everything. So, to summarize my perspective as succintly is possible, things that I've experienced when young, related to the esoterics, I'm now reading on the internet. So, it's kinda wild. So, with that said, here are some quick esoteric nuggets that I find to be really awesome and that helped me along the way as I linked it the sciences, including quantum physics, neurology, biochemistry of the body etc.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
b) SR's Relationship To Moon Cycles In THE FASCINATING BOOK, mentioned at the top of this post,
God-man: The Word Made Flesh, the author Dr. George Carey describes the "The Seed", that is what we are retaining, as follows:
"
The first seed is formed in the solar plexus of every individual, commencing at the age of twelve, which wehave designated as the age of puberty. Thereafter, it is formed every 29.5 days, this taking place in each individual at the time of the month when the moon is in the sign in which the sun was at the birth of the individual." What Carey is describing here is what many refering to as "kundalini". I'm going to attempt to demystify this, whilst, at the same time FULLY EMBRACING and explaining the above quote/technique/aspect of SR.
So, all this 29.5 cycle is, the level of time, or process of the complete cerebrospinal fluid to go from your brain to your balls then to your brain again. This also, happens to be the amount of time it takes the Moon to complete its orbit to/from your Sun Sign (i.e. if you consider yourself to be "A Libra, then this would be when the Moon is in the constellation of Libra)
One will have to ascribe to the belief that the Moon cycles affect us in some way. And, if indeed, we know that the Moon effects the tides of the Earth and we get life from the Sun, then no Astrology "knowledge" is even needed to accept this idea. But, alas, I will accept all tools that resonates, to add to my SR journey.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
b) Improved Quality Of cerebrospinal fluid After LONG TERM SR Now, back to the cerebrospinal fluid. The amount of, or time of retaining, determines the quality of this cerebrospinal fluid going up and down your spine, through the solar plexus, over the course of 29.5 days, regularly.
We are now, simultaneously, simply describing a biochemical process.
We know that, or, if we don't know, we can accept that, amongst other things, the cerebrospinal fluid, is needed to transfer other fluids back and forth throughout our central nerviou system.
Now, when that cerebrospinal fluid, goes back up the the brain, where is it going?
Back to the pituarity gland. Esoterics aside, we already know that this is an important gland for all types of important things.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
IV. BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER
Now, back to esoterics. This is, after all, the third motha fackin' key. This is the Third Eye/Pineal gland etc. So now, the cerebrospinal fluid, can bring that wonderful, mysterious, powerful, RETAINED SEMEN back up to the OPERATING SYSTEM OF YOU - THE BRAIN.
Now, I'm not discounting anyone out there that says they are floating and walking through walls., and windfalls of winning lottery tickets follow them everywhere etc etc etc. That's all fine and great.
What I am identifying is that, on a very practical when "keeping track of", or "being aware", each 29.5 day cycle, it's those days where I
"feel it the most". After time (6-7 MONTHS, FOR ME) TRANSFORMATION BECOMES NOT ONLY INEVITABLE, BUT CONTINOUS - CONTAGIOUS, even.
So, whether or not it's simply because the quality of the cerebrospinal fluid flow up and down my spine through my brain is of higher quality due to not PMO'ing,
OR
If it's because my pineal gland, every 28.5 is being fully activated as the divine spark is manifesting itself in expansive form throughout in the holy temple of Golgatha OR
If it's because of the healing energies of the solar ecplise, conjunct Chiron, during a Mercury in Retrograde, all happening in Aries, which of course, rules the Head, where the seat of the soul, the (now FULLY POWERED) third eye is..... Whether it's some of the above, all of the above, or none of the above,
What's very clear is that the path that SR OPENS, simply works. It will look different for everyone. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
IV Conclusion:
So, as you can see, short term benefits are amazing. But long term benefits are long lasting and continous. It becomes who you are.
Once you make it a lifestyle, you won't make time to count the days.
Regardless:
- Don't give up.
- Don't give up.
- Don't EVER give up.

2024.03.16 21:34 TimQuixote Debbie Gibson Movie Quiz Show??
I'm currently listening to the Hollow Man episode, and ARP is trying to crowd-source his Joey Slotnick memory, and it got me thinking about this memory that has floated about in my mind for decades.
It's really for UK-based Blankies. I'm in my early 40s, and remember a movie-themed quiz show from some point between 1988 and 1991, probably on BBC, with then popstar Debbie Gibson as the host. Can't seem to find anything about it, so maybe it wasn't Debbie Gibson. Maybe another Debbie.
It was on early evening, around 6-8pm. It's in my head as the first place I saw anything from Alien, though I would have only been around 7-9. One of the questions was a clip of the scene with Dallas and the motion tracker, which ended right at the tension was building up.
I may be conflating two different shows, but it would be good to know if anyone else remembered it!
