I'm currently compiling a list of every survivor bonus video but I'm already stuck on Borneo. I want to know if this list I'm making actually has everything and so I want to share links to the sites I'm taking these video names from and want to know if that's all the season has. If not, please tell me in the comments. I also don't have sources for some seasons at all so I would love for you to send some links :)
I also want to know if these even are the insider videos or not

10 Reliable ExtraTorrent Proxy Sites (ALL WORKING!)
A proxy site acts as an intermediary, mirroring the original website to connect users to the content they seek. In the case of ExtraTorrents, these proxy sites replicate the torrent directory, allowing users to download the same digital content that was once available on ExtraTorrents.
These proxy sites are hosted in regions where ExtraTorrents isn’t blocked, enabling users to bypass geo-restrictions. Therefore, even if ExtraTorrents is blocked in your country, you can still access its content through an ExtraTorrents proxy site.

How ExtraTorrent Proxy Sites Work

Similar to other torrent platforms like The Pirate Bay and YIFY, ExtraTorrents has its own set of mirror or proxy sites.
An ExtraTorrents proxy serves as a bridge between the user and ExtraTorrents. When you navigate to an ExtraTorrents proxy, the proxy site connects to the servers and databases where ExtraTorrents’ data is stored.
The proxy then retrieves the web pages, torrent files, and any other content you request and presents them to you. This process enables you to access ExtraTorrents even when the primary site is blocked or unavailable.
Additionally, the proxy conceals your IP address, effectively hiding your identity and geographical location. This is particularly useful if ExtraTorrents is restricted by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or by your country’s regulations. In essence, proxies offer a smart and efficient solution to regain access to ExtraTorrents through cached versions.

ExtraTorrents Proxy List

Discover a collection of fully functional proxies for ExtraTorrents.cc designed to grant you seamless access to the platform. If any of these proxies fail to work for you, simply switch to an alternative option. Rest assured that these proxy sites have undergone rigorous testing and have been confirmed to be unrestricted in the majority of countries.
Our curated proxy and mirror sites list undergoes the latest updates, ensuring that working ExtraTorrent proxy sites are featured here for your convenience.

To ensure seamless access to the website, users may opt to utilize proxies and VPN services. OkeyProxy is a dedicated proxy provider for an effective strategy to unblock restricted websites. Its proxy services typically boast numerous servers across various locations, enhancing both reliability and performance for accessing blocked content.

Is Torrenting Legal?

A prevalent query surrounding torrent downloads is the legality of the practice. In essence, torrenting is legal. Torrenting content from the public domain or legally sanctioned sources is entirely permissible. Games, movies, and files made available by creators can be safely torrented. However, engaging in the downloading and distribution of copyrighted material constitutes an illegal activity.
In instances where copyrighted content is involved, you may face legal repercussions from the copyright owner, as this falls under the umbrella of piracy. Conversely, if you are sharing content that is not protected by copyright, torrenting remains a legal activity.
Employing good judgment and torrenting responsibly is paramount. For added anonymity, consider using a VPN or proxy while navigating the torrenting landscape. OkeyProxy, a dedicated proxy provider, offers an effective solution for unblocking restricted websites.

2024.05.20 20:14 cplant_ The Nico Collins Deep-Dive you Didn't Know You Needed...

Why am I doing this?
I've heard a lot of chatter over the course of the offseason about the Texans' wide receiver room. I hear people saying 'Tank Dell is the real WR1,' or 'Stefon Diggs will be the most productive WR on the team; just look at his pedigree!' I haven't heard much love for Nico at all, and it seems absurd. He had an incredible season last year, finishing as the WR7 in PPG. I feel like I'm losing my mind—clearly, the guy who just lit it up production-wise is the best player, right?
Some Data Points of Note:
Nico Collins in 2023
(50 Tgt Min.)
I will be the first to say that a lot of these stats are redundant and describe the same thing. The main point is that he was extremely good last year. He was performing like a real elite WR1 in this offense. I don't see how he could be faking this kind of performance.
What does Tracking Data Tell Us?
To take this a step further, let's look at the Receiver Tracking Metrics more granularly. Overall Score is by far the most predictive of future fantasy points, but the breakdown between Open, YAC, and Catch Score lets us know more about the type of player Nico is.
For those unfamiliar, the Receiver Tracking Metrics are ESPN's attempt to turn tracking data into metrics that describe and predict wide receiver play. I'll also leave an explainer article here.
Nico Collins' 2023 RTMs (Scale is 0-99)
Nico had some of the best Catch (3rd) and YAC (2nd) scores of any WR last year. His Open Score, however, was not a bright point, but a 57 is still an above-average mark. For reference, Ja'Marr Chase and Amon-Ra St. Brown finished the season with a 58 Open Score, while Puka Nacua finished with a 53 Open Score.
Understanding Open Score I'm not sure why some of these elite WRs seem to score lower in Open Score, while others score higher. My best guess is that there is too much situational adjustment in the model, causing it to be biased against certain types of WRs or certain play types. From my testing, Open Score doesn't have much predictive power by itself, but it does when combined with Catch and YAC scores, which is what the Overall (OVR) Score represents.
A Mini-Study on WRs that have elite seasons
We have established that Nico Collins just had a monstrous breakout season where, on paper, he looked like one of the better WRs in the league. This got me thinking: of all the WRs to have seasons like Nico had, how often did they maintain a high level of production? I looked at all WRs who had an 80+ OVR Score in the ESPN RTMs and compared their PPG from that year to the next year. I also ensured that each season a player had to play 8 or more games to be included in the sample, to avoid including players who suffered injuries.
All Seasons by WRs with a 80+ OVR Score (2017-2022)
Mini-Study Results There are 21 WR seasons listed here; 15 out of 21 (71.4%) had 16+ PPR PPG in the next season. Of these 21 WR seasons, 14 had 16+ PPG in that season. Out of those 14, 13 had a 16+ PPG season again the next year. The one WR in the sample who didn't repeat 16+ PPG in the next year was 2021 A.J. Brown. If you look through his game log on Sleeper, you'll see a season riddled with injuries, and of course, the team's high run rate and having a bad QB only exacerbated things.
WRs with an 80+ OVR Score and 16+ PPG seem to be really good bets to repeat their 16+ PPG performance. Almost every WR season since 2017 that met the two thresholds of an 80+ OVR Score and 16+ PPG repeated a 16+ PPG season the next year. Although this is a relatively small sample, it seems reasonable to believe this trend will continue. These are the best of the best WRs based on the tracking data and fantasy production, and they have been and still are very good bets to make in fantasy.
In 2023 there were only 4 WRs to reach a 80+ OVR Score and 16+ PPG
  1. AJ Brown
  2. CeeDee Lamb
  3. DJ Moore
  4. Nico Collins
Okay, But what if the stats are LYING???
This is a good question. Sometimes a system and scheme can overly inflate a player's production. I don't think that's the case here, but it's worth exploring if the player's talent is actually evident on film. This is our 'sanity check,' if you will. I, like most, think Matt Harmon is the best WR analyst in all of fantasy football, so I usually default to his film opinion when checking my work. He has been a big fan of Nico Collins even before his big breakout season. He discussed the Texans' WR room in a Mailbag episode on his YouTube channel after the Stefon Diggs trade. I strongly suggest you go and watch that video. I'll do my best to summarize his thoughts on the offense here. He discusses how the Texans were initially trying to trade for Keenan Allen to fill their need for a short-area target. Harmon points out that Diggs' success rates on down-the-field routes are not as good as they once were, and he alludes to this being what tends to happen as WRs age. Matt describes how Diggs fills the void of the short-area target in the offense, and that he and Tank Dell will rotate as the slot/flanker positions in the offense. He then goes on to say that Nico Collins will be the pure X-WR that never leaves the field. The biggest statement of note to me was when Matt said, 'Just to be straight, of all these three players... the best film last year was Nico Collins, including Stefon Diggs.... I think he's the best Texans receiver right now.'"
Screenshot from Harmon's video showing Diggs decline on down the field routes
Harmon also takes note of Tank Dell's injury and speculates that he might not be 100% to start the season.
It's important to mention that after this 'real football' discussion, Harmon still said he believes this room is a mess from a fantasy perspective. This, of course, is the safest stance you can take in this scenario. And I know all the fantasy strategy guys will simply say to take the one they feel is the biggest value at ADP. This is fair, and something I would agree with most of the time, but in this instance, I think people are getting too cute.
The numbers he put up last year, tracking metrics, and film all seem to point to Nico being a stud WR1, and these types of players generally tend to find a way to ball out no matter what the circumstance.
Disliking Nico Goes Against Current Consensus:
I'm generally of the belief that ADP and Consensus fantasy values are fairly accurate, or at least as accurate as possible. So to me, it is important to get an idea of what the 2024 consensus thinks of Nico Collins.
This may be a shock to some out there, but Nico is already projected as the consensus WR1 on the Texans by ADP and early projections.
2024 FantasyPros Projections (CBS & ESPN Average)
As you can see looking at the initial FantasyPros projections Nico Collins is projected as the WR10 overall, not only is he projected as the WR1 on the Texans but he is projected to be a low-end WR1 in fantasy leagues.
2024 Aggregated BestBall ADP
Here is the ADP from BestBall leagues: Nico is currently going as the WR13 off the board, once again as the WR1 on the Texans offense.
The consensus market seems to be very much in on Collins as a Low-End WR1 this year. Yet, still, I hear people say they prefer Diggs or Tank Dell at a seemingly alarming rate, hence this deep-dive.
Lastly looking at the Texans 2023 Pass Rate and how it could change in 2024
Last year the Texans Early Down Pass Rate was the 26th lowest in the league (RBSDM.com)
This stat was pretty alarming to me. Why does a team with such a good passing game refuse to pass on early downs? I suspect this might have been due to injuries to the receiving group, or maybe it was precautionary to prevent Stroud from having too many rookie mishaps. It's not like they were a good running team either.
The Houston Texans Run Block Win Rate in 2023 was 25th (ESPN Analytics)
The Texans Rush EPA/Play was below average (RBSDM.com)
As you can see their run game as a whole just wasn't effective last year. And they didn't do much to address it this year either.
2023 Pass Rate Leaderboard (TeamRankings.com)
Last year, the Texans had about a league-average Pass Rate. It's probably fair to assume that they will somewhat increase their Early Down and Overall Pass Rate, given Stroud is going into Year 2 earning more trust from the staff. Adding Diggs also suggests that they will pass more in 2024 as well. If the Texans are indeed more pass-heavy in 2024, it will increase the likelihood of all three of the Texans' top pass catchers producing. It will be especially good for their young, stud WR1 in Nico Collins.

Wifi adapter not recognised ubuntu 20.04 intel wifi 6 ax203

Hello everyone, I recently received a gift from my parents. It's the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL. I would like to do some ROS projects on it, but the wifi adapter does not work (Intel WiFi 6 AX203). I tried upgrading to version 22.04, and the wifi adapter worked on it. However, I encountered issues running ROS, so I had to revert back to Ubuntu 20.04.

Here are a few things that I have tried

I haw unable to find any drivers for this specific network card: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005511/wireless.html https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi

None of the below mentioned code snippets worked.

2024.05.07 06:58 commanderace1 Fraud Transaction (CIMB)

Hi guys,
Share ko lang po ang experience ko with how CIMB revi credit address fraudulent transactions. Nagreport ako ng fraudulent online transaction on April 23 since hindi ako ang nag-order nun, the merchant is called Howly* and located in Cyprus, bale nagcharge lang sya ng Php 35 pero according to the email notification from CIM, this is an approved authorization for a Php 3,000+ subscription. After ko ireport, unfortunately they blocked all my CIMB savings too, despite my attempts to have them unblock the savings account kasi hindi naman sya involved sa fraud, hindi daw pwede while the investigation is ongoing. Super hassle kasi halos lahat ng funds ko nandun, and I cannot withdraw or pay a bill man lang meaning no debit is allowed for 15 banking days. I wonder why walang 2-step verification or sms when the transaction went through—so I do not understand why I should experience all this hassle when they failed to detect fraud in the first place—sobrang frustrating lang. thanks for reading

2024.05.03 13:59 OkTopic7028 Found a Galaxy A52s I'd reported lost, but now cannot connect even to Wifi or Hotspot/Tethering

So, the Galaxy A52S was pretty awesome, has 1/8" aux audio jack, and gets Geekbench 5: 761 Single, 2404 Multi with the Snapdragon 778G upper midrange chip.
The current Galaxy A54 gets GB5: 772 Single 2616 Multi, so the A52s is basically equivalent, was a great device, punches well above it's weight 💪.
But, I cannot connect even to Wifi or Hotspot/tethering. Only can connect to USB to PC or MTP browsing.
Any way to fix this? Will a factory reset help? Or once I can get the IMEI unblocked thru carrier, will this possibly help? I had thought IMEI reported lost/stolen did not affect Wifi, but some people seem to think it does.
I prob also reported it lost thru Google privacy & security, tho I clearly didn't request a remote factory reset or blocking sign in/unlock if that was an option.
Any tips? Will factory reset help? I'd rather not go thru that step because a) it's all set up how I prefer, and b) has like 20GB of mp3 files and mixed sets.
Thx for any help/tips 🙏

2024.04.25 17:06 joemiken 1st round mock, no trades

No trades, although I think there will be a LOT of movement tonight and Friday.
1 (CHI) QB Caleb Williams-USC
Break out the nail polish, this is pretty much a forgone conclusion. The Bears grab one of the most highly touted QBs in recent years.
2 (WAS) QB Jayden Daniels-LSU
Kliff Kingsbury gets an electric playmaker to mold into Washington's next signal caller. I think Maye is the better prospect, but Daniels and Kingsbury are an appealing duo in DC.
3 (NE) QB Drake Maye-North Carolina
It's a new era in Foxboro and the Pats start off with a new QB. They'll get a lot of calls from teams looking to move up, but ultimately start the rebuilding process with my QB2. Maye struggled at times in 2023, but his 2022 tape with a far more talented Tar Heels supporting cast is really impressive.
4 (AZ) WR Marvin Harrison Jr.-Ohio State
The cupboard at WR is pretty bare in Phoenix. There's a lot of smoke around them taking Malik Nabers, but I can't see them passing on Harrison. Ultimately, I don't think it matters as they'll likely move this pick for a team who will pay a king's ransom to take J.J. McCarthy.
5 (LAC) OT JC Latham-Alabama
Despite having very few weapons for Justin Herbert to throw to, new HC Jim Harbaugh goes OL at 5. Joe Alt is the premier OT prospect, but he's a career LT. The Bolts aren't moving Rashawn Slater to RT, so they target a true RT. The Chargers OL coach worked out Latham extensively at the Bama Pro Day. Harbaugh should be familiar with him as well, as Latham was J.J. McCarthy's LT at IMG Academy.
6 (NYG) WR Malik Nabers-LSU
The Giatns are a candidate to move up into the top 5 for Maye or McCarthy. With no trades in this mock, they go with a major need at WR. Nabers has explosive potential and is great after the catch. Odunze will get some looks as well.
7 (TEN) OT Joe Alt-Notre Dame
The Titans to Peter Skoronski last year and he was great for them at LG. They continue rebuilding their OL and get a replacement for Taylor Lewan at LT in Alt. Alt and Skoronski will solidify the blocking on Will Levis's blindside.
8 (ATL) WR Rome Odunze-Washington
An EDGE or CB are probably bigger needs, but the Falcons tend to draft BPA. Kyle Pitts, Drake London, Bijan Robinson. They added Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore, but Moore is a free agent next year and Mooney is more of a slot receiver. Odunze and London would be two big targets for new QB Kirk Cousins. Don't be surprised if there's a trade here for a team looking to grab the last of the three elite WRs.
9 (CHI) DL Byron Murphy II-Texas
The Bears get their QB and now turn to the defensive side of the ball at 9. The Bears resigned Andrew Billings and drafted Grevon Dexter and Zacch Pickens last year, but they're more space eaters than pass rushers. The three combined for just 3 sacks and 6 hurries in 2023. Murphy gives them a pass rushing threat up the middle the other three don't have. The Bears would also love to move down a bit to add more picks, as they only have 4 picks this year, but don't be surprised if they make a move with the Chargers if Harrison is still available at 5.
10 (NYJ) TE Brock Bowers-Georgia
The Jets are another team that would love to trade down to potentially recoup the 2nd they sent to Green Bay for Aaron Rodgers. They are 100% in a win-now situation, so whoever they take will need to contribute from Day 1. Bowers is a tremendous offensive weapon and should see a healthy amount of targets from Rodgers next season.
11 (MIN) QB J.J. McCarthy-Michigan
With Kirk Cousins gone, the Vikings are not ready to start the Sam Darnold era. McCarthy has the tools to be a great QB, but his production was hampered by the Michigan offensive scheme. I feel pretty confident that Minnesota will not be making this pick at 11. I see them moving up with Arizona and taking McCarthy there.
12 (DEN) QB Bo Nix-Oregon
The Broncos are said to have significant interest in Nix. Is he a reach at 12? Sure. But after releasing Russell Wilson, they have a dire need at QB. I think he's ultimately a better fit in a a Payton offense than Penix. It'd be nice to trade down a few spots, but if he's your guy, you have to make the pick here.
13 (LV) QB Michael Penix Jr.-Washington
I'd be shocked if the Raiders don't leapfrog Denver to ensure they get their guy. They have last year's spot starter in Aidan O'Connell and QB mercenary Gardner Minshew, but their are long-term solutions. New coach Antonio Pierce get his franchise signal caller here.
14 (NO) OT Taliese Fuaga-Oregon State
In the Sean Payton era, the Saints OL was a strength for the Saints. Cap issues led to Terron Armstead leaving for South Beach and Ryan Ramczyk has major injury concerns. They drafted Trevor Penning, who has struggled, but if Ramczyk can't return this year, they have no one at RT. Fuaga is a mauler that can help rebuild the Saints OL. Watch for them to make a deal with Chicago to leap frog OT-needy teams like New York and Vegas.
15 (IND) CB Quinyon Mitchell-Toledo
The Colts really struggled in pass coverage last season. With Trevor Lawrence in the division and the emergence of CJ Stroud in Houston, they need to improve there if they want to challenge for the AFC South title. Mitchell gets to nod over Arnold based off his testing and Senior Bowl performance.
16 (SEA) CB Cooper DeJean-Iowa
OL is a popular choice here and I really like what Troy Fautanu could bring to the Seahawks OL. They brought DeJean in for a Top 30 visit and he tested extremely well after a broken leg sidelined him in 2023. He can play at safety or corner, allowing them to play Tariq Woolen or Coby Bryant at safety.
17 (JAX) CB Terrion Arnold-Alabama
With all the EDGE rushers still on the board, the Jags may be tempted to add another pass rusher alongside Jsoh Allen. Ultimately, they fill a major need at CB with the Alabama CB. Arnold will need to mature, but he's got the talent to match up with Diggs, Hopkins and Pittman.
18 (CIN) WR Brian Thomas Jr.-LSU
Tee Higgins wants a trade and with Tyler Boyd gone, the Bengals are sorely lacking a solid WR3. Even if they don't trade Higgins this weekend, he's likely gone after next season. Thomas can slide into the WR2 role with fellow Bayou Bengals Burrow and Chase.
19 (LAR) EDGE Jared Verse-Florida State
An edge rusher finally comes off the board. The Rams got a pair of gems in the draft last year in DL Kobie Turner and EDGE Byron Young. With Aaron Donald gone, all the double teams he drew will now fall on these two sophomores. Verse has two years of great production in Tallahassee and gives the Rams a pair of good edge rushers.
20 (PIT) IOL Jackson Powers-Johnson-Oregon
This may be a little high for JPJ, but the Steelers have been linked to him going all the way back to January. He has the versatility to play guard as well, but likely starts the season as the starting center for Russell Wilson.
21 (MIA) OT Troy Fautanu-Washington
Fautanu was the Huskies' LT, but could play inside as well. With Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson likely locked in at OT for at least the next season, Fautanu becomes a starter inside and helps protect Tua.
22 (PHI) CB Nate Wiggins-Clemson
The Eagles are a strong candidate to move up in the draft. CB is a big hole for a team that is still very much a Super Bowl contender. Staying at 22, they address that hole with Clemson speedster, Nate Wiggins.
23 (MIN) EDGE Laiatu Latu-UCLA
Just like their pick at 11, I don't see the Vikings holding onto this pick. Keeping this pick, they grab a guy with great production, but a troubling injury record. The Vikings added Andrew Van Ginkel and Jon Greenard in free agency to offset the loss of Danielle Hunter, but Van Ginkel is only on a two year deal and is coming off a career year in a contract season.
24 (DAL) OT Tyler Guyton-Oklahoma
With Tyron Smith off the the Big Apple, the big debate in big D is whether Tyler Smith will stay at guard or kick out to LT. Guyton could slot in at LT or push RT Terrance Steele.
25 (GB) OT Olu Fashanu-Penn State
Quite a fall for a guy that may have been a top 10 pick last year. With David Bahktiari retiring, the Packers are left with Rasheed Wallace and Zach Tom at OT. Tom was a bright spot in 2023 and could move inside to center. Fashanu can slot in as Jordan Love's blindside protector.
26 (TB) EDGE Dallas Turner-Alabama
The Bucs have to address the pass rush in this draft. Rookie YaYa Diaby led the team with 6 sacks. After that, it was safety Antoine Winfield at 6. Turner is a physical specimen, as seen during his stellar combine workout. He needs to work on developing his technique though.
27 (AZ) DL Darius Robinson-Missouri
After JJ Watt retired, the Cardinals top pass rush threat was Dennis Gardeck. As much as they need a WR, pass rush is just as big of a need on the other side of the ball. Robinson can contribute inside or out on the defensive line and looked unblockable at times during the Senior Bowl.
28 (BUF) WR Adonai Mitchell-Texas
With Stefon Diggs now in Houston and Gabe Davis in Jacksonville, WR is a major need for the Bills. They could go a variety of directions whether it's Ladd McConkey, Keon Coleman or Troy Franklin. Mitchell is more of a vertical threat than the others. Don't be surprised if the Bills trade up for Brian Thomas or go really big to get Odunze or Nabers. The Bills are in their Super Bowl window, but need a Diggs replacement to make that happen.
29 (DET) IOL Graham Barton-Duke
EDGE rusher, DL and CB are all areas of need for the Lions, but if last draft was any indication, the Lions won't follow the conventional route. Barton gives the Lions a replacement when Frank Ragnow retires and would give them depth at all five spots in 2024. Watch out of a Washington trade here, as they apparently really like Arizona OT Jordan Morgan.
30 (BAL) OT Amarius Mims-Georgia
Mims has tons of raw talent, but lacks experience. Ideally, he would sit for most of 2024, but could push RT Daniel Faalele for starting time.
31 (SF) OT Jordan Morgan-Arizona
Morgan was a LT at Arizona, but I think his future is inside at guard. The Niners could also try him out at RT in place of Colton McKivitz or as Trent Williams' eventual successor at LT. I would not be surprised to see Washington move up ahead of the Niners to take Morgan.
32 (KC) CB Kool-Aid McKinstry-Alabama
The Chiefs sent L'Jarius Sneed to Tennessee, so there's a hole in the Chiefs' secondary. McKinstry should get drafted higher, but medicals may hurt his stock. He has good length and is a capable tackler and would make a solid young tandem in the defensive backfield alongside Trent McDuffie.

2024.04.15 17:21 Jimmon89 Looking for advice on using Google Sites to create a site for custom educational games for ages 5-10 teaching math, English, etc

First off...

Our Goal:

We want to make drag and drop games similar to this site(https://www.sitestemplates.net/test-game) my GF found where the child drags & drops words, letters, numbers, or symbols, and in the case of words or letters have them be spoken where appropriate(using pre-recorded files of course) the site my GF found is a template, but from inspecting/F12, it looks to be just an embed from a word press site.
Our goal isn't to make yet another "embed" or unblock google site, there are already far too many of those, and for us defeats the reason to even use google sites, while i could host the site on my personal PC, i'm admittedly a bit paranoid about security.

My Question:

is our goal even possible using only Google Sites?

some info about us:

Me(35m): I will be doing the coding(HTML, JS, CSS), implementing the media into the page, and rough page layout. I'm currently a freelance programmedeveloper(mostly python, lua, C#, and java), my background being educated in Network Administration(AS) of windows/linux servers, network infrastructure, and batch/shell scripting, self taught in intro up to lower intermediate level HTML/JS/CSS/PHP
GF(26f): She will be doing the graphics/art, animation, finalize page layout decisions, and record the voice lines. She is currently a language assistant to teach students age 5-10 English terms for their current curriculum in class, and whose background is being educated in Filmography(BA) with a minor in Filipino studies, and while self taught she is extremely good with both digital and traditional drawing and painting, and is intro level skill in animation

2024.03.24 03:52 kevysaysbenice Reputable / quality CloudFront CDK config for setting up reasonable default set of CF behaviors?

This is very much AWS and CDK specific, FYI.
I'm a AWS / CDK person and need a simple WordPress site so am setting things up with EC2 + CloudFront w/ WAF.
Everything is working well enough except the default behavior is not at all optimized or frankly safe most likely (probably?). This article (not sure how old it is) from AWS covers reasonable defaults, but I'd love to just copy / paste some well tuned CDK configuration into my project.
Anybody have anything they could share?
Thank you!
edit: I'd also happily accept any WAF CDK configs that are well tuned for CloudFront + WordPress :)
edit 2: OK, this is at least something that is a starting point. This does NOT contain the EC2 setup or any sort of containerization of the actual WP application, it's just the most basic setup for CF with WAF and the "Behaviors" setup to sort of match the recommendations from the AWS docs linked above. I'd consider this a basic PoC.
Also, worth noting that ideally you send the stale-while-revalidate cache-control header, and although there are many ways to do this there is a plugin that seems to work well enough (even on 6.4.3), although I haven't audited this plugin so use at your own risk: https://ja.wordpress.org/plugins/cache-control/
Oh, I guess I should point out that to get what I have working exactly, ec2Domain needs to be supplied to this stack, which is just the EC2 Public IPv4 DNS value. Also, in my case I added the hosted zone through CDK but the domain is hosted externally so I needed to set the nameservers to AWS's in my domain config. Also, the actual wordpress instance needs a valid HTTPS certificate (I used letsencrypt / certbot) and in my case I chose to redirect all traffic with nginx/apache to https://example.com - CloudFront will take care of redirecting to HTTPS, but you should probably redirect www -> non-www or vice versa.
edit 3: I should point out that this will go outside of the free tier - specifically WAF rules I believe will go outside of the free tier, as will the hosted zone. The hosted zone is only $0.50 a month I think and makes everything much easier so is worth it IMHO, but the WAF stuff could be gotten rid of if you wanted (in theory Origin Shield should be in place, which at least should help with DDoS I guess?

2024.03.08 23:21 Special_Emu4764 She contacted me and I walked away.

So, to be brief - we haven't talked since late July. She ended up back with a guy she had in a love triangle with me back in 2019, who she used to cheat on. She lied, manipulated and hid things for years, etc... you guys can ofcourse guess the pattern of behavior that most of us endured (Cheating, hoovering, lying, etc..) she ran the gamut.
Basically was talking to him while still telling me she wanted us to work things out (even though she was disappearing and push/pull with me from February of last year till July.) Just was making sure she had something else set up before finally discarding me so she didn't have to feel "abandoned".
The last thing I heard from her was that she hated herself, didn't know who she was and was crying for help. I offered to be there, because I cared and basically the next day she sent me the most cowardly, typical, blame-shifting message telling me to not contact her or her family or friends and that she didn't love me anymore and to leave her alone. She was just feeling "Guilt" because she knew she was setting things up with him and didn't want to take the blame.
Was devastating. I spent six weeks in PHP (partial hospitalization) had a break down at work prior to going. Luckily my boss is the kindest guy In the world and just wanted me to get help.
Either way, I get help, try to move on. Had to really work to stop looking at her socials, photos, etc. Finally stopped. Doing my best to move on.
Come November I'm helping a friend move and she unblocked me and messages with some lazy: "I don't know what to say, just thinking about you doing cool shit and just wanted you to know I'm grateful we happened" "Ignore this if you feel like it" Oh, gee, can I? Talking as if we were talking and she didn't put me through the ringer for years.
I looked her page up and sure enough things didn't work out with that guy, which is why she messaged me.
And you know what, my friends? I didn't say shit to her. I didn't reply, I didn't coddle, I didn't kid gloves her. I just looked at it and thought "How fucking dare you" and I left it. I felt zero need to communicate with this person, to give her parting words I wished she had let me do when she disappeared. I felt nothing. I needed no resolution, no closure. I just had to walk away from this message.
Because it wasn't worth it.
Proud. I'm truly proud of myself for not doing a thing.
Unfortunately, an old coworker friend of mine from my first job passed away a few weeks later and I drove back to my old neighborhood to pay respects. And when waiting in line to do prayer, etc... I look back into the busy wake room and low and behold, who do I see there ?
My ex. And she's accompanied by a different guy, whom she used to talk to while we were together. She's now in a relationship with this other guy a mere few weeks after ending things with the first guy. And I just looked at her and shook my head. She came up maybe ten feet from me, looking like she wanted to talk and I just ignored her. I was there for a dead friend, not a dead relationship. And I think she knew it when I glanced over at her. They left.
But that night turned into strangely a really healing night. All of my old coworkers were there. We all instead of sadly grieving our friend, spent the night at his favorite bar and celebrated his life. And seeing all of these old faces reminded me that yes, life can be sad, it can be tragic, but we're all in charge of our healing.
We can share our trauma, but we can also share the cure. sometimes not saying a word is that cure. And recognizing the people who truly care, the people who love you and hug you and are there for you when it counts.
Side note: those two didn't last, and she's now back with the first guy again.
I can move forward in life knowing that I made the right choice not to message her. That I did the most mature thing possible and as an outside observer, I see now what she was truly doing to me all those years.
Never again.
Love you all. Take care of yourselves. Life isn't about winning or losing. It's about moving forward. Bless up.

2024.01.31 11:33 gumshot TotalBiscuit's rant from Something Awful back in 2007

This is a repost from my rant forum on my site and since I'm interested only in it being read, rather than advertising or shilling it out for hits, I'm going to just repost it here. Before I do let me give you a quick introduction.
I finally registered on the SA forums a week or so ago having been a loyal reader for a couple of years. I don't like the new design of the site, I want to kill it with fire, I liked my good-old Web1.0 scrolly site, give it back please.
I'm posting this here because you lot are smart, and as such, I have no issues with you telling me that you think I'm wrong with this pseudo-rant. This may also be preaching to the choir a bit and for that I sincerely apologize. I hope at least you get some enjoyment out of this. If you're one of those fellows who likes to Digg, the article also has a Digg page, do with it as you see fit - http://digg.com/general_sciences/Atheism_does_not_make_you_intelligent
With that said and done, here goes.
"It's novello time, and it's about religion, so unless you're ready to deal with some views you may not agree with, switch off now. In the words of Illidan "You are not prepared".
Let's get this out here right now. I'm a 23 year old law graduate with an IQ of 155. My political beliefs are liberal and leftist, I listen to Metal and I enjoy violent movies, books and videogames, and I've been a Christian since birth. Baptised, confirmed of my own free will, son of a priest (who are pretty notorious for rebelling against their father's religious beliefs just for the sake of it). I'm part of the Anglican Church of England, which is pretty much the result of Henry the 8th getting pissed off with the catholics not allowing him to divorce his wife(s). We're the state religion of the UK, if you could even say the UK has one, we're pretty liberal about most things, women priests, gay priests, homosexuals in general, sex before marriage, contraception, we take the modern, reasonable way of looking at all of them. At the end of the day, the Bible taught us about forgiveness and being excellent to one another. It had a bit of a round-about way of doing it but what do you expect for a 2000 year old book written entirely by clerical males? It's gonna be a bit out of date, you've gotta read it in context.
I have no problems with anyone's beliefs. Be whatever you want, as long as you believe (or don't believe) for a good reason. But here's what I really don't like, trend-atheism/trend-theism (also referred to as e-atheism, since it seems to be most prevelant in the domain of anonymous blogspammers and Digg-users).
In my late teens, I spent a long time thinking. Yeah, just sitting around and thinking, thinking about faith. Thinking about what it is that I believe in. Rationalizing the various conflicts and contradictions that faith presents us with, looking at the viewpoints of other faiths, or those with no faith at all, taking into account the new things we discover every day and factoring in the influence of science. Some people would claim that, if I had indeed done that, I'd have come to the conclusion, as an intellectual, rational thinker, that God does not exist. They would of course, be wrong.
My beliefs center around several factors. Firstly, it is important for us as human-beings to realize our own limits, and the limits of our understanding. Centuries ago we believed the world was flat. "The Bible told us so!", would be the first cry. Wrong, it really didn't. In the Old Testament, Job 26:7 explains that the earth is suspended in space, the obvious comparison being with the spherical sun and moon. The Old Testament, you remember that one? The one with the fiery bushes, the pillar's of salt, the cool plagues and such? Even that managed to get it right. There's a few more references as well to the 'round' earth (and before you say anything, flat is not a shape, it could have been a flat octagon for all they knew) but I'm not going to go into that yet. We've had computers for less than a century, powered flight for just over a century and of course our amazing horseless carriages. Genetics, electricity, nuclear-bombs, toaster-strudel, the world is in the palm of our hands! And it didn't take us too long did it?
Reality-check, we're still primitives. In the great scheme of things this technology is a mere blip on the historical radar. We've got an awful long way to go before we're able to dissect and understand the mysteries of the universe. We haven't even put a man on Mars yet, let alone left our solar system to find out what exactly is out there. How can it be that we have suddenly, so recently, become so arrogant as to believe we know more than we really do? The Laws of Science are written by man, based on our understanding of how things work. They are theories that, while prove true today, may be debunked by another amazing discovery tomorrow. Which leads onto my next point.
Name this quote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". Arthur C Clarke, physicist and author, smart fellow. It also hilights the point I'm making. Our understanding of the universe is peerless only amongst ourselves. We are not as smart as we think we are. Just as fire wowed the neanderthals, what would it take to wow us? What would make our jaws drop and our minds boggle? Well, any sufficiently advanced technology of course. And what is technology after-all? Man-made machines. The concept of technology is a human concept, a concept that may, in other parts of the universe, not even exist, replaced by something even more advanced than that, so advanced that we cannot comprehend it. Not surprising really as we mammals only use 10% of our brains.
So where am I going with this? Simple really, take yourself off of your high-horse, you, and the human race, is not as smart as it thinks it is. Now, open your mind a little, and let's explore some possibilities.
The definition of a God. Let us turn to the good book.
Wikipedia.
"God most commonly refers to the deity worshipped by followers of monotheistic and monolatrist religions, whom they believe to be the creator and ruler of the universe. Theologians have ascribed a variety of attributes to the various conceptions of God. The most common among these include omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence, perfect goodness, divine simplicity, and eternal and necessary existence. God has also been conceived as being incorporeal, a personal being, the source of all moral obligation, and the "greatest conceivable existent"
Hmm, a tall order one might think. Could such a being exist? Some argue that logically, he could not, however, there is very little logic in denying the possibility that a being or beings of such power and advancement exist that they could indeed, be considered 'God' within our definition. That's not to say that God is a small green alien with a flying saucer and a phaser though that would give some of the overzealous fundamentalists something to sweat over, much to our amusement. But what is this God? A creator? Sure, we create. We create technology, we're getting to the stage of being able to create life in one form or another, using the basic building blocks of nature. Could it not be surmised therefore that it is entirely within the realms of possibility that someone or something created those building blocks? Like a programmer creates a new program, someone must have also created the coding language in which he created it. We scramble for answers. We come up with theories. Some believe in the beginning there was nothing, which exploded. Some believe a man in the sky created it everything in 6 days and then mooched around on the 7th. Which is valid?
Neither, and both. They attempt to apply meaning to something where meaning may, or may not exist. Creationism and the Big Bang are in that sense, as bad as each other. They are both merely attempts for us to explain the unexplainable. The Big Bang contradicts our laws of physics (something most catalyse an explosion, therefore something must have been there in the first place, where did that come from, at which point your brain melts). The Creation Story contradicts our laws of physics (Same reasons, who created God after all?). Everything we've so far managed to come up with, from the sublime to the ridiculous, the complex to the simplistic, it's an exercise in desperate straw-clutching. At the end of the day, we don't know jack.
And that's ok. Someone once said that the journey matters more than the destination, it's not the winning, it's the taking part, at least ya tried sport. These explanations of where it all comes from, be they ancient or modern all boil down to the same need. To know. Who'd have thunk it, we've got brains for a reason, and they rather like being used. Those neurons like to be fired, the little grey matter likes a little exercise every once in a while. Just as the Creation Story was a way to explain an unexplainable concept, so is the Big Bang theory. If one were to compare the human mind to a computer, try feeding the Big Bang theory to the medieval man, and it's like trying to shove Bioshock into a Commodore Vic20. Good luck. And what will our children's children's children's grandchildren's children think of our Big Bang theory? My money's on exactly the same thing.
So what am I trying to tell you, stop asking questions, stop looking for answers and just believe whatever the hell suits ya? Absolutely not. Believe whatever suits you, but question it, never stop thinking, never stop asking or learning. In this day and age it seems people are way too willing to believe, or not believe. Belief, or non-belief should be a life-long arduous process and it should end involuntarily, when you fall over dead. Someone (there's a lot of talkative someone's aren't there?) once said 'Never stop believing', I say, "Never stop asking yourself what you believe, and why".
It's time to criticize, so let me load port and starboard cannon and fire a volley at both atheists and theists alike. Believing, or not believing, does not make you intelligent. Smart people do not come to a conclusion on the basis of insubstantial evidence. Smart people do not mindlessly attack other people's beliefs just because they don't conform to their own. Smart people do not assume that their own rigid, poorly formed definitions of logic and faith, reason and belief are mutually exclusive and that if one exists, the other cannot. Smart people think outside the box, not pick fights with those poor souls trapped in it.
What makes you intelligent, is knowing why you believe what you believe. Knowing that you are but one mind, and knowing that at any time you could be proven wrong, only for that person to be proven wrong ad infinitum as we as a race advance.
I suppose you're waiting for my personal beliefs, waiting for this to be some kind of sermon, preaching why my God is better than your God, or non-God. You'll be waiting a long time, because it's not coming. My personal beliefs are just that, personal, they're mine, they belong to me. You cannot take them away from me, only I can. What I can give you though, are my opinions.
Right now shots are being fired. They're not physical shots, they're bullets and shells of ignorance and bigottry. And it's no one-sided battle let me tell you that much. Factionalized camps everywhere you can imagine. Atheists, Theists, Satanists, Christians, Republicans, Democrats, Capitalists, Communists, every group you can imagine, all shouting 'Your God/Non-God sucks, mine is better!'. These days, the internet's become their battleground. So much for sharing knowledge, we're sharing ignorance.
The bigottry and the condemnation has to stop. The sad thing is, I'm having to condemn the condemners. Isn't it lowsy how you generally have to be a hypocrite in order to make a point these days? Food for thought. We can look at the extremes and see the simplistic, secular vs sacred, trend-atheists vs fundamentalist evangelical christians, the most common stereotypes. But in reality, it's so much more complicated than that. It's this stereotyping and narrow-minded attitude that prevents us as a race from achieving the greatness we can. I could make as many decrees as I wanted till I was blue in the face, and I'm going to just to let off a little steam mind you,
"Trend-atheist Digg users, shove your agendas where the sun don't shine, refusing the possibility of a supreme-being does not make you a genius or a radical thinker, it makes you a bloody sheep hiding behind a cloak of anonymity"
"Evangelical Fundamentalist morons, get your overly simplistic, judgmental, dogmatic Crayola God out of my face, you have about as much understanding of the universe as a wet lettuce. That does not make you holy, pure, or guaranteed a private booth at the big game in the sky, it makes you a bloody sheep hiding behind a cloak of propaganda that you only believe because you're told to"
Wow, that feels good, I can understand why you internet-bound condemners like it so much. Gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling doesn't it? What, I'm not allowed to indulge in such a guilty pleasure every once in a while? Play fair Wink
Where's my conclusion? Hell if I know. Did you have the mistaken impression this was some carefully constructed plea for tolerance? Absolutely not, it's an angry slap in the face to my peers. Wake the hell up and use your brain, because my God/Non-god/Explosion/Man-in-the-sky/Vic20 gave you it for a reason.

2024.01.25 19:26 bl4klotus Best Standard Decks of All Time: Results from 2023's Ultimate Standard tournament.

Best Standard Decks of All Time: Results from 2023's Ultimate Standard tournament.
Every year a few friends and I play out a tournament bracket of various old standard decks to see which deck wins the whole thing. I keep saying this is the last time, but somehow I managed to do this yet again, my 13th iteration.
We invited 48 decks - 32 decks battled for the right to get paired against 16 seeded decks.
It was single elimination best-of-3 to save time - it still took us most of a year.
This time we invited a greater percentage of more recent decks, and power creep was on full diplay.
We included 18 decks from 2018 or later, and 6 of those decks made the quarterfinals.
Going into the tournament, our top seeds were:
  1. 2006 UR Dragonstorm
  2. 2011 Shrine Monored
  3. 1996 Necropotence
  4. 2010 Mythic Conscription
  5. 2011 UW CawBlade
  6. 2004 Skullclamp Affinity
  7. 2015 Atarka Red
  8. 2015 Prowess Red
None of those decks made the top 8.
If you’re wondering why we ranked the decks that way, it was based on past performance in our previous tournaments - this creates a bias for older decks since they’ve had more appearances. Also, we didn’t include several broken decks that have already proven their “hall-of-fame” retired status: Spiral Blue, Academy, Memory Jar, Simic Food (Oko), and UW Delver.
Our winner this year was 2019 Gruul Aggro, the deck Javier Dominguez used to win Mythic Championship V.

In the Quarterfinals this deck knocked out the 2018 World Championship deck, HazoRed, which was also piloted by Javier Dominguez at the standard portion of Worlds that year. It then killed Esper Raffine from 2022 and beat a 2020 deck in the finals: Lukka Yorion Fires, which we played with the original companion rule since that was how it was played in the time-window we got the decklist from. The Lukka Yorion Fires deck was a come-from-behind control deck that seemed to have no problem with very fast aggro decks - that is, until it ran into 2019’s Gruul Aggro, a deck with lots of haste AND trample. Trample was key as the Yorion deck survives to the mid game by placing 1/1 soldiers or flying sharks in front of attackers. Although it succumbed to 2019 Gruul Aggro, the Lukka Yorion Fires deck defeated the mono red version of aggro from 2019 on its way to the finals. It also eliminated 2010 Mythic Conscription and our most recent deck, 2023 Rakdos Midrange.
The Cinderella of the tournament was 2008 Kithkin, a lesser-known deck that went 5-0 at the 2008 World Championships in the standard portion piloted by Hannes Kerem. This white weenie deck benefits in our unusual metagame by having Burrenton Forge-Tender for protection from red, Stillmoon Cavalier in the sideboard for protection from white and black, and lots of flying to push through to victory.
In the finals, a best-of-five, Gruul Aggro overwhelmed in the first two games, then got a little mana screwed in game three. The Yorion deck managed to stay alive at 2 life with a surprise flying Shark blocker, then it used Dovin’s Veto to stop 2 direct damage from a Bonecrusher Giant “stomp,” and then it sloooowly took over the game, regaining life with a Heliod’s Intervention, and eventually it stole all the good creatures with multiple Agents of Treachery.
In Game 4, Shatter the Sky cleared the board with the Yorion deck at 6 life, but Skarrgan Hellkite appeared after that and the deck couldn’t find an answer.
To see the entire bracket, go here:
http://brandonpatton.com/magic/ultimatestandard/
Some other storylines from the tournament:
Dragonstorm was one mana short from comboing off before succumbing to 2020’s Temur Clover.
Another deck using the original companion rule, Mono Red Obosh, was stopped by Kithkin’s protection from red, and 2023’s Grixis Midrange fell to Kithkin after three back-to-back Spectral Procession (which make 3 1/1 fliers).
Kethis Combo amazingly survived 2011 Shrine MonoRed (before falling to Gruul Aggro).
Boros Feather couldn’t deal with an indestructible god (Hazoret) and Necropotence lost a close match against Esper Raffine which involved non-interactive racing… Necro had a protection from white attacker (Knight of Stromgald), mostly unblockable, except for a man-land that was able to change the math. Making it even more of a nailbiter was the Zuran Orb that helped gain lots of life but required sacking lands. That game might have gone the other way had I started racing a turn earlier.
2014 Orzhov Midrange made the quarterfinals thanks to being on the play against 2022 Mono Black Control and playing Pack Rat on curve, and was always one toughness ahead of a Meathook Massacre being effective, especially thanks to Mutavault shenanigans - it was just a classic pack rat swarm beatdown. (By the time the Meathook player has 3 mana, the rats are 2/2s. At 4 mana, they are 3/3s. etc. - an endstep removal spell on one rat could maybe make them small enough to kill with Meathook - but Mutavault makes them bigger again.)

Now that Standard has a 3 year rotation, I won’t bother adding any decks after 2023 to my invites. It’s already clear that recent fair decks are generally stronger than older fair decks, and 3-year-rotation decks will probably be a tier above. So… now there’s a fixed (albeit huge) list of decks to pair against each other. Top tier decks from 1995-2023. It’s a closed set. There are many decks I’ve yet to pilot and I still have a lengthy waiting list. We may actually get to a 10 best decks of all time (pre-2024) eventually! But I still have a lot of matches to play before we can decide who else gets on that list.
I totally undertand that this is hardly scientific - it’s just fun. What I find enjoyable about it is that each matchup is potentially a matchup that has never been played before. You can’t rely on crowdsourced knowledge for tactics, you have to try and figure it out on the fly. Our predictions before each game of how we think it will play out are often surprisingly inaccurate, and it’s also fun to be surprised by the grit of some of these old unsung decks.
Also, shoutout to the guys at CardMarket’s YouTube channel for doing something similar this year with World Championship winning decklists. I’ve added their results to my recently adjusted deck-rankings, which you can see here:
http://brandonpatton.com/magic/ultimatestandard/index.php/league-table/
(I have no connection to them and no incentive to endorse their business, but I really enjoyed their YouTube series on old standard decks.)
Thanks for reading, and if YOU ever want to contribute to tournament results by playing out a match with one of your friends and sending me the results, just let me know, I’d be happy to crowdsource some of this.

2024.01.25 18:43 InitialObjective6643 Dota 2 ban main account

I live in a family with 3 brothers and we have three different accounts in the steam, we had two computers until a certain time, until my brother sold it, maybe I forgot to log out of that account and my account logged in to steam, but I did not see the new games, but I do not think that for this ban for life. I did not use smurf accounts or third-party programs, this is my personal account on it played 7k hours and every day I went in and played perhaps you banned for the fact that the entrance was from another place but I live in the Crimea in and geolocation gives not always correct my location. I repent I went to the account of a friend and passed him calibration, but why the ban I got on the main account is not clear. I am ready to accept the punishment that I went to someone else's account, but I do not agree with the term of the ban (lifetime). I am writing this message because I play since 2020 in Dota almost 4 years I raised myself almost 7 thousand rating and all nowhere, I am now 15 years old, I do not bring me any pleasure except for the game in Dota, and at the moment I can not even create a new account, because I will get blocked for the same smurfing. And even if I can not get unblocking or reducing the period of blocking, then tell me how I can start playing dota without the consequences of the ban, because my main is in the ban. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199031665123/ it`s link on my account . everything I've said I can prove.
