So, back on the 14th of March, I was bouldering with my kiddos at the local gym and climbed up on a little slab, probably a V3, and had my right foot on a small hold about 2-3 feet above the mat. As soon as my body weight centered over my foot, I slipped off the hold and came down. Unfortunately, the bottom of my foot gained purchase on the wall as it flattened out and my body weight against the friction of the shoe on the wall turned my foot 90 degrees and dislocated my ankle.
When I say it hurt, well, I am not sure I have ever felt pain this bad. Plus, because it was "stuck" in the dislocated position, the pain just didn't go away. I also had both my kids with me, which has been a fear of mine since we started. I, of course, knew injury was always a possibility, that is just how it is with this sport, but I never really knew how my kids would react. If I could say anything though, I would say I am a proud daddy. They didn't panic, they did exactly what I asked them to do, they stayed calm, gathered all our stuff and even though I have not been climbing, they have continued to go back while I recover.
Anywho, I don't really post this as a warning, it was a freak thing, and we all know injury is a possibility, especially as we advance in this sport and push ourselves, but I wanted to share my gnarly injury and my pride in my kiddos.
Also, (hopefully this is allowed) shout out to the staff at Austin Bouldering Project. They were amazing. They got me everything I needed, and one guy even sat outside with us as we waited for my SO to come pick us up to go to the ER. He talked to my kids about Minecraft and helped keep them calm and thinking about other stuff. They were true professionals!

I was on my last year of high school (where i live after the last year we start university )it was caranteen time where we used to be locked down.At that time we used to do lessons from zoom and that’s how I met the new guy who joined my classroom.He was dark haired and dark eyes,dressed always in black and listening to ANY kind of rock which tbh was TOTALLY my type.As soon as we returned to our physical classes we started getting to know each other more and me and my friends had decided that that year was the last one together so we would make the absolute fun without caring for anything and so it was.One of my fav teachers,my English teacher liked the guy too(as for the same music taste and scorpions fan)maybe she saw the tension and she always would tell him to sit and work together.The guy had funny pictures of me with different face expressions.Apparently i started having a crush on him and I didn’t do anything and the same for him,we would have our moments and my ex bestie (best friend at that time)would say that he writes her and how they chat and how he would say that i am stupid and idk what else which made me ofc step away thinking that if they have smth i will not mix.The year ended and that was it.Never saw him again he logged out of our group chat too and now he is in USA.Tbh I didn’t think about him or all if this till one moment one of my ex classmate the one i would have the most fun told me how she met one friend of his and how she(the guy’s friend)knew me (always people would refer to me by my long hair)because the guy had talked about me at her.My friend who told me this said how he had a crush on me and I let it go.He still had the pics and he had shown it to his friend. Idk what to do tho since I removed him from my instagram one time when one girl asked me about his instagram and j said idk and removed him so she couldn’t find him 💀 Btw now im at the third year of uni and 3 or 4 years have passed Ps:sorry for the grammar English is not my first language ☺️

I can't figure out how to make this algorithm work through DFS maze traversing method ...
My output for this code is shown below ... but it should instead show the DFS algorithm at work ... traversing through the "*" field from "S" start-point to E ending-point ... and replace "*" with empty space " " to mark the traversed nodes ... until it reaches E end-point ... I don't what I am missing and why it's not doing the traversing ...

sorry for the confusing title

I have seen many people draw speculations about a potential cage match for the past few weeks, but now that we have confirmed dates for the biggest PPV Sunday of the year, thanks to Vince Inkigayo, I thought it would be worth doing a tactical breakdown and preview of the bout.

Prologue

Hello and welcome to my post. I will subdivide this into two large parts. One will cover my thoughts, feelings, my hopes and dreams...While the other will tell you the specifics of how I pass the time, what topics interest me, what passions do I posses. I believe that at the end of this leap into my inner world, you dear reader, will have all the necessary information to judge whether we are compatible or not.

Part I
I am writing this in the hopes of finding something that I lack. Lately I have had this feeling, this tinge of melancholy within the dephts of my being, this yearning to find a kindred spirit, another Soul, much like mine, to form a bond with. Perhaps Loneliness is the right word for what is bothering me, but to use it seems to carry with it a connotation of ungratefulness. Ungratefulness for the people that I do have in my life, although none of them, of course, have the connection to me that I seek here.

I have found it increasingly necessary to seek in this Life a sort of purity of thought. What I mean is, I have began to undestand what ideas and concepts are ultimately compatible with my inner most Self, ergo what guidelines I have to follow to feel the most whole. Naturally I have likewise realised what I cannot add to my Self and what I will henceforth reject with all the power that I posses.

With this new context in mind, I now follow on the path of self improvement. I will now begin to mold my Self into my perfected idea of how the Self should be. This is certainly a significant undertaking, one that will not be easy to follow through on but one that I ultimately have to do. To me such context is essential. It is akin to a Guiding Star shining in the night. I will follow this Star for without it I am lost in the vast Darkness.

Looking back at my life, it was suboptimal, especially if one compares the way it molded me to how I will now mold myself. I suppose I must look on with a hint of regret at all that time which one might consider to be lost. Still... I try to stave off such decisively negative interpretations, after all, I have ultimately came to these conclusions. That means that somewhere along the line I had to have picked up on enough of such ideas for them to become so cemented in my consciousness. Well, either that or I was always like this, but in that case I can at least thank my life up to this point for not being able to supress such manifestations of my inner most Self.

To add to the topic of my life, I must admit that not all the battles have yet been won, not all the Demons vanquished, not every Mountain climbed. I want you to keep such things in mind when deciding whether or not to approach me. Many will shy away, I undestand that much, but the pursuit of true Companionship is just another such battle. Having said all that I do believe that being able to overcome hurdles together carries with it a certain appeal. That is to say, what's the fun in joining once the Game is already over?

I don't shy away from such challenges, perhaps to a fault. Certain troubles that I faced in the past carry with them a long shadow over my current health and well being. Still, I intend to change little in this regard other than the proficiency with which I will clash the current of my Will against the cliffs of Life.
Part II
In this part of my post I will tell you about my interests and hobbies, I will try to be thorough, commonality in this regard is rather important to build a relationship
History. I have had an interest in history for almost a decade now, it started back in school and developed from there. Well, now that I think about it one could argue that it started even earlier in my life as I liked watching the odd historic documentary or film aired on television but it wasn't regular back then, I never actively sought it out. I am mostly interested in European history in the period between the 18th-20th century but I sometimes branch out to other time periods and other parts of the world. I watch various channels related to history and read articles and sometimes books. I have recently got a few books on the German revolution of 1848/1849 and a historical magazine on the Thirty Years' War. Besides that I try to visit museums sometimes.
Literature. Especially old novels. I like to immerse myself in the Worlds of these books, I tend to read them while listening to thematically fitting music and take my time with them. One time you are following a troubled Youth in his quest for spiritual understanding of the world, another you see the aged and decrepit Doctor gambling his very Soul on the promises of abtaining satisfaction in earthy pleasures, then again your olfaction notices the most pleasant scent known to man even as the one eminating it has the appearance of a revolting Frog. These and many other stories open up to you once you decide to set foot into the literary World.
Languages. I know three, with one being a bit rusty. I am currently working intently on strengthening it. I believe that if I continue to apply myself in this regard then I should be able to finally conquer it. What language am I working on? Well, if you were to stack all the major works in it they would be as tall as a house... It is fun to go through different works in multiple languages, the same goes for film, games and such.
Games. I recently played Cyberpunk 2077. Well as recently as I played any major story centric game. Now that the dust has settled and the bugs mostly removed...It's not that bad. The main questline at least. Besides that I tried Fallout 76 (Very average, I'm dissapointed with what they made the "RPG" system) and I might give Deus Ex Manking Divided another spin (since it's somewhat similar to Cyberpunk when it comes to its aesthetics). Dark Souls is one of my favorite series, I still haven't beaten Elden Ring though. When it came out I wasn't in the right mindset to invest a hundred hours into it, with all those bosses and difficult locations. I think I'll only consider playing it if I am streaming it to someone. I am generally interested in either streaming games or having the person I am talking to stream them to me. To be specific I mean streaming to a single person while being on call. Besides that I'm a big fan of Paradox strategy games, especially Europa Universalis IV and Heats of Iron IV, I tend to only play single player since I find multiplayer with many people to be rather stressful but on the other hand I have nothing against a co-op game. I'm not the best player though, despite the ammount of hours I have in them. Another great game I would mention would be Dragon's Dogma. A very underrated RPG. I recently beat it again and it was an atmospheric and interesting experience. It is one of those games that feel like they have an endless ammount of depth and constant new secrets to discover.
Anime and Manga. In recent times my interest in them has waned but I still watch the occasional series here and there. Like Cyberpunk Edgerunners (Which I found to be rather mediocre) and the very good first season from the new arc of Bleach. Some of my favourite series include: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Fate;Zero, Psycho Pass, Code Geass and Attack on Titan. I wouldn't mind if you were to introduce me to some new series, maybe based on the ones I mentioned. My favourite Manga is Berserk which I still follow, althought I am still not certain on the direction that the new author is taking. I suppose it really is a matter of contention whether a somewhat (or considerably warped) vision is better than an unfinished work. One could argue that a few novels remain unfinished and possess a macabre appeal to them as such.
Music. Classical music has a very special place in my heart. A few of my favourite pieces would be: Clair de Lune, Nocturne Op. 9 No.2, Devil's Trill Sonata, Danse Macabre, Valse Sentimentale, Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92: II. Alegreto (by Beethoven) and Suite from Swan Lake, Op. 20a: I. Scene. Moderato. There are more but these ones always invoke something in me when I listen to them. Besides Classical I also enjoy listening to Synthwave, old Western pop and J-pop, both modern and from the 20th century.
Esotericism. I am interested in things spiritual, mystical, magical and esoteric. I have read religios texts, magical grimoires, introductions to various schools of thought. It is interesting to me.
Epilogue
Hopefully I was able to cast the spotlight upon my inner World in a clear and unequivocal manner. I feel the need to add to the aforementioned that I am rather introverted, which means that I tend to dislike large social gatherings. I managed to condition myself to be able to endure the presense of large groups of people but it isn't something that I would seek out in most cases. Besides that I am neurodivergent and suffer from certain issues with mental health. I have to take medication to keep myself under control. They work well enough but certain days are harder than others. I respect the struggle that others have with mental health but in the context of a relationship I have my limits, no one with BDP for instance. I am also not looking for anything casual. I understand than one cannot demand depth and meaning from a conversation with an absolute stranger, that is akin to trying to build a sand castle right before the waves strike but I ask at least that you enter with a mindset that this might become something of significance. I also do want to say that I am completely Monogamous. My preference? The sickly, pale, intellectual who watches rain droplets slide down the window in Autumn. Lastly, if I enjoy the company of a person I tend to not want to let them go.

Am I aroace or not? I've already had this question in my head for about six or seven years, I don't have anyone who understands the subject to be able to talk about it. I can't understand if I'm aroace or not, and if I am.. where on the spectrum am I??
I (transmasc, 18-year-old Brazilian) have always had crushes, some were forced and others were not...
At school until 5th grade, I had five crushes. P, G, and A; these lasted one year each. L; this one I forced myself to like him because all the girls liked him. and J; my best friend for years, I liked her throughout our friendship and then too, but at the time I didn't realize, because "girls can't love girls". and apart from J, I didn't have any friendship with any of them, we barely talked. (But these were only from school, I also had a crush on my cousin's girlfriend, and my friend's brother)
In Brazil when you go to the 6th grade, you change schools, so I left all those people behind and started practically a new life... at that time I felt a lot of pressure to fit in, I stopped doing things that I like, and I started acting like the girls around me acted (Jealous, aggressive... and pick me girl). On the first day of school I already had a new crush, M. and on the third day he asked me to date, I don't want to go into details, it wasn't a good thing, I was 10 years old and I felt like a sex toy in his hands... after him came R, it wasn't a very good dating either... I remember well at that time of having several crushes, and I always boasted of having more than 100 of them... being the majority unattainable (characters, celebrities, random people I saw on the street...) and the minority people from my social cycle.

I got five crushes from 2022 to now, but whether or not to have a relationship with them was never important to me, the friendship we had was always enough (or in the case of two of them, just look at them in the hallway of the School and I admired them was enough) , until my friend started dating one of them and I got jealous, genuine jealous! Something I've never had...
Although I want a relationship, sometimes I'm disgusted/repulsion with romance and sex, but sometimes I like it... for sure my traumas have an influence on it... it's something very confusing and that has haunted me for years.

Me (18M) talked to this guy lets call him J (20M) in April for three weeks and we had such an amazing connection that I couldn't help but fall for him. I have never felt this way about anyone in my entire life I mean the connection was just something that was unexplainable. He made me smile in a way no one has ever made me smile I saw a future with him in the tiny frame I had him in my life. When me and J started talking we found out that he texted me two years ago and we didn't even know, So on our first date we made jokes about that and how we could've happened earlier. The first date was something I can only explain as something cinematic everything was perfect he took me to the beach and we talked for six hours on end about our lives, our families, and what we wanted in life. On the two hour drive back we listened to music while I laid on his shoulder and evidently we figured out that we had the same music taste which was one of the many things we had in common. The drive back was as good as the beach because in all honesty the place did not matter as long as I was with him I was happy. So we continued talking and getting to know each other for a week as we planned our second date. The second date was amazing it lasted roughly five to six hours as well and we planned on watching a movie but ended up laying in the back of his cars stargazing and just talking for hours. That night he told me that he couldn't picture me leaving because he was growing attached, when he spoke those words my smile went from ear to ear as I said "the feeling was mutual I was just to scared to admit it". He looked at me for a minute and said the exact words I needed to hear "You don't ever have to hide from me you can tell me anything" and I let my guard down. Everything was great for the next couple days we talked everyday and the messages never seemed to end. Four days later something seemed off he wouldn't respond with the same emotion that he would previously the goodnight messages went from "goodnight sleep well can't wait to talk to you tomorrow" to "goodnight i'm tired" The conversations went from deep explanations about his day to "My day was good wbu?". I tried to not think about it to much he is busy he's moving out and he has finals piling up I'll just leave him be. To avoid thinking about him constantly I would go out with friends and party and rarely be sober. A couple days after he told me saw his ex and he felt regret and anger and so many other emotions which through me through a loop because why do you care about your ex that heavily. I asked him if he was over his ex on the first date and reassured me multiple times that he was but looking back now that was the biggest lie. Later that day he posted something on social media basically confirming my suspicions he was not over his ex far from that he wants them back and so I asked him directly why did he post that video. He finally told me that he isn't over his ex and he doesn't want to lead me on anymore because i'm such a "great guy" who "deserves better". I told him I wish him the best and hopefully we can work out in the future and maybe this time don't have to wait another two years. He agreed and we went our separate ways. C asked me do I still think about J and I told him sometimes and C's face seemed so hurt and filled with dread and it has me thinking should i even be with C anymore. Hi all, I am new to yoga, have only been doing it for 2 months now. I have tried yin yoga, vinyasa, and a mixed class with 2 different school and my gym. Trying to take advantage of learning and growing in this.
Long story short, in one of the classes we had a pose that I could not do in the slightest and I didn't catch the pose name. I want to work on it but need to find the name so I can get an idea how to work towards getting even a little progress. The pose started on the floor, we were supposed to use our arms and a short roll to lift our gluts up on a straight line up. Similar to a J figure with the arms and back used to support and maintain the hold.

Me (18M) talked to this guy lets call him J (20M) in April for three weeks and we had such an amazing connection that I couldn't help but fall for him. I have never felt this way about anyone in my entire life I mean the connection was just something that was unexplainable. He made me smile in a way no one has ever made me smile I saw a future with him in the tiny frame I had him in my life. When me and J started talking we found out that he texted me two years ago and we didn't even know, So on our first date we made jokes about that and how we could've happened earlier. The first date was something I can only explain as something cinematic everything was perfect he took me to the beach and we talked for six hours on end about our lives, our families, and what we wanted in life. On the two hour drive back we listened to music while I laid on his shoulder and evidently we figured out that we had the same music taste which was one of the many things we had in common. The drive back was as good as the beach because in all honesty the place did not matter as long as I was with him I was happy. So we continued talking and getting to know each other for a week as we planned our second date. The second date was amazing it lasted roughly five to six hours as well and we planned on watching a movie but ended up laying in the back of his cars stargazing and just talking for hours. That night he told me that he couldn't picture me leaving because he was growing attached, when he spoke those words my smile went from ear to ear as I said "the feeling was mutual I was just to scared to admit it". He looked at me for a minute and said the exact words I needed to hear "You don't ever have to hide from me you can tell me anything" and I let my guard down. Everything was great for the next couple days we talked everyday and the messages never seemed to end. Four days later something seemed off he wouldn't respond with the same emotion that he would previously the goodnight messages went from "goodnight sleep well can't wait to talk to you tomorrow" to "goodnight i'm tired" The conversations went from deep explanations about his day to "My day was good wbu?". I tried to not think about it to much he is busy he's moving out and he has finals piling up I'll just leave him be. To avoid thinking about him constantly I would go out with friends and party and rarely be sober. A couple days after he told me saw his ex and he felt regret and anger and so many other emotions which through me through a loop because why do you care about your ex that heavily. I asked him if he was over his ex on the first date and reassured me multiple times that he was but looking back now that was the biggest lie. Later that day he posted something on social media basically confirming my suspicions he was not over his ex far from that he wants them back and so I asked him directly why did he post that video. He finally told me that he isn't over his ex and he doesn't want to lead me on anymore because i'm such a "great guy" who "deserves better". I told him I wish him the best and hopefully we can work out in the future and maybe this time don't have to wait another two years. He agreed and we went our separate ways. Three days later my ex lets call him C (18M) from earlier this year contacts me saying he misses what we had and wants to try again. I think about how good he treated me the last time we dated so I stupidly agree. We've been talking for three weeks now and I texted J a couple days ago because J wanted to know how I was doing, we talked for a little bit and he said he isn't ready for a relationship but his post just make it seem like he wants his ex back. C is giving me everything I want and is obsessed with me tells me he loves me everyday but I can't help to think about J from time to time. Me and C had a talk last night and I told him that I felt no spark between us anyone but maybe that is because I am comfortable with him and I do not need a spark for our relationship. C asked me do I still think about J and I told him sometimes and C's face seemed so hurt and filled with dread and it has me thinking should i even be with C anymore. I care about C so much I truly do but I don't feel for him the same way I felt for J, With J it was something so passionate and the Spark was amazing and with C it is comfortable and safe. Making matters worse as I am typing this I am on the phone with C. I don't know if I'm leading C on. Should I end it or should I continue talking to C even though a tiny part of me is waiting for J. AITA for this whole situation I'm very confused and any input will be greatly appreciated!

I don’t know if everyone else was taught this way, but growing up learning English in the US, I was taught a lot of “rules” of English that turned out to not really be rules after all. I.e., starting sentences with conjunctions was taught as a very bad thing.
However, this isn’t a rule at all. You can just place a period where you normally would’ve had a comma and continue your sentence with the conjunction capitalized. This might seem odd. But even places like Grammarly recognize this as proper grammar.
Although it may look weird in standard text, I think that starting sentences with conjunctions can be very useful for stories to give characters more personality in their speech. This is a pretty easy solution to arrive at given that, in spoken English, we start our sentences with conjunctions all the time because we try to build off of what other people are saying. You might not realize it now but just try to listen for it in your next conversation and you will certainly notice it.
There are certainly more situations in which this is useful but even if there aren’t I still think that we shouldn’t be teaching that this is a bad thing. At the very least later on in like 8^th grade we should reteach this fact. I would propose something similar to how history is taught (i.e. teach the base level things first and then later on go back and teach more of what's actually true).
Everyone should be taught what this because this is used all the time in famous pieces of literature. In fact, someone has compiled a list of all the times J.R.R. Tolkien has done this very thing across The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings. With a total of 6,320 uses of this syntax, the most frequent occurrence of this is but at 2,871 uses and and at 1,972 uses.
Now personally, I think if J.R.R. Tolkien can do this any of us can.
