Come the dawn the charge of the Reachmen sent the pirates srambling for their weapons, and though they put up a fight, they were cut down to a man and their ships burned. Of those that surrendered, they would hang at the port in Oldtown as a stark reminder. For his bravery Gwayne was given their Valyrian Steel sword, Vigilance, upon his return.

I’m thinking of replacing the motor on the boat I inherited. It’s a 1988 champion bass boat. 15 foot and made of fiberglass. Approximately 875 lbs.
Everything I’m reading has me believing that the motor on it is entirely too big. It’s a 90 HP Johnson motor. Don’t get me wrong, it will send this boat flying, but it’s unnecessary. I just want to go fishing and I’ve always felt like it weighed the back of the boat down a lot to the point it’s made me uncomfortable.

I have TESDA Certification for CSR and gusto ko iexplore yung field na yon pero natatakot ako as a beginner. Fluent ako in English pero nauunahan ako ng fear to take risks for things na makakatulong para sa goals ko.

A few days ago, we purchased a Sphynx kitten. I have been doing cat allergy shots for a year, and was hoping a hairless cat would be good for my allergies. Call me stupid because I am, I can admit that, but anecdotal stories on this subreddit and promises of good allergy outcomes from the breeder convinced me that a hairless cat was my best choice for a allergies. Unfortunately, I am severely allergic to him. This was my attempt post-allergy shots, but I am now convinced I will never own a cat and have 100% accepted it. A few years ago, I tried a low fel-d1 Siberian from Angara Siberians, but that also failed.
He is the friendliest kitten in the world, right when we got home he was already chasing me around the house and sitting on my lap. He loves pets and loves being held. His breeder clearly showed him a lot of love, but he is unwilling to take him back for whatever reason. I think he might think I just have buyers remorse, and am making up the allergies. I even offered to return him for zero refund (I paid $2000) and he still said no... which is weird because he otherwise seemed like a reputable breeder. The parents were TICA verified champion bloodline or whatever (honestly didn't care about that too much), and the contract he had me sign was totally reasonable.
I genuinely need him out of my house as soon as possible so I can start breathing again (even with 2 allegra and constant albuterol throughout the day!!!), it is going significantly worse than the Siberian I tried a few years ago before my allergy shots, so DM me if you are interested. I am even considering just surrendering him to a local shelter soon, which feels kind of ridiculous. I think a 4 month old Sphynx kitten would literally go to the first dude that walks into the shelter, which isn't the kind of owner I am looking for. Trying to avoid resellers.
Just know this cat is NOT a good choice if you are looking for a low allergen cat. So sad to see him go.
I can also include about $100 worth of supplies: kitten food, litter, litter box, scratching post, and a couple toys.
I am also between jobs right now, so if you are pretty confident you want the cat, I am willing to drive up to a few hours away to bring him to you. I live in Western Massachusetts.
Thanks for understanding. And if you are mad at me about falling for the hypoallergenic BS, just trust me that I will never try to own a cat ever again.

We saw Revenant AND NAVI fail to qualify this month from APAC, a lot of drama happening over in the EMEA region, we FINALLY saw the top South American team get signed and we played some fun Brawl Stars quizzes over at Reddy's stream during the NA Qualifiers. submitted by Lucky_6464 to BrawlStarsEsports [link] [comments] I would also like to point out that I am not responsible for any jinxing that may have happened this past weekend. No I won't be talking much about the drama that happened this past weekend. If you want to see more about it, I'm sure there are some posts on here or tweets that talk about it more in depth. I just want to talk about the Qualifiers and nothing else. Now that I got that out of the way, let's talk about what happened in the BSC 2024 May Monthly Qualifiers! The Thumbnail! Asia PacificMay Asia Pacific Monthly Qualifiers ResultsCrazy Raccoon: This time Crazy Raccoon were able to get a nice run in the Monthly Qualifiers after getting sent to Losers last month. Only dropping one set, this Japanese team is looking to claim their 2nd Monthly Final crown of the year and all but secure a spot for the World Finals. With teams like Revenant and NAVI not standing in their way this time, there is a good chance they can repeat. However with how much chaos that has happened this month, I guess anything is still possible. Still should be the favorites to win it all though. Rival Esports: The newly signed trio in Rival have somehow made their way to the Monthly Finals from Winners after getting a huge upset against NAVI to qualify. Rival will hopefully take advantage of there being no NAVI or Revenant this month, but they will have to go through a tough bracket as I think Why We Lose could be tougher than we all might think and Angelic with that ping advantage might be tricky to beat. If they at least make it to the Grand Finals, they should be in a good position to play in at least the LCQ assuming they keep qualifying. Angelic: Little to no scrim time? No problem! At least for Angelic as they were able to cruise through the Winners Bracket and never once had to deal with a tough opponent as HOW were unsuccessful in being able to play them. Angelic are looking to take advantage of there being no Revenant or NAVI this month and there is a good chance they could get a bigger lead on them and even Rival is they out-place them this month. If there was a time for the Hong Kong group to win, it's now. Coco Loco: This Coco team is going Loco as they were able to qualify from Winners thanks to Revenant choking against Team S2. While they were able to beat Team S2 in a close match, they still have some work to do as they ended up getting matched with 3RG who could be challenging for them. Despite the slow start they had, they are slowly climbing their way back up in the rankings and now might have a chance to stay in the LCQ race as long as things go their way. We'll see if they can get another MF match win this month! Master Entertainer: A new team has joined the Monthly Finals and their journey was quite interesting to say the least. Their bracket was going well until they faced Rival who would send them to Losers. Luckily, bracket RNG was on their side and while they did have a close call in one of their matches, it was pretty much smooth sailing the rest of the way. Now will hopefully be their chance to cause some chaos as they go up against Crazy Raccoon. It will be challenging, but from what we have seen so far this year, anything is possible. Team S2: The 2nd S team has arrived and they should definitely not be taken lightly despite this being their first Monthly Final. Their run was going well in Winners and they somehow managed to beat Revenant 2-0 in the process. Coco Loco would send them to Losers after a tough loss, but they would still just need one win to qualify. Their match against Octopus Primes wasn't easy, but they pulled through and will now get a chance to also cause some chaos. Can this Korean team stun us all and add Angelic to their list of top teams they've beaten this month? 3R Gaming: 3RG had a pretty easy road in the Winners Bracket, but they were unfortunately matched with Crazy Raccoon in the qualifying match. I think you could guess what happened there. What's even worse is that they got placed in the same section as Revenant and Nai Dug in Losers. Nai Dug were somehow victorious in their match against Revenant (yes RNT placed Top 16), but they were no match for 3RG had came out on top in a three set victory. Now they'll get a chance to climb their way back into the LCQ race, but their bracket ain't gonna be easy as they will have to go through Coco Loco and Raccoon. Why We Lose: After getting sent to the Losers Bracket early, WWL managed to get on a nice streak which also ended with them getting a win against HOW. Their next match was a close one and while they were able to win, NAVI was their next opponent and beating them would mean they would qualify. I think you can guess what happened. They somehow defeated the April Champions and sent them packing. While this was a brutal loss for NAVI and it hurting their chances to claim a Worlds spot, WWL is looking to cause some more chaos in APAC as they could stun us all and beat Rival. May Asia Pacific Monthly Finals Bracket Quarterfinal Match to Watch - Rival Esports VS. Why We Lose: I think WWL has the potential to upset Rival this month. I don't know why, but I just have a gut feeling that WWL is underrated. They do have a solid trio who did manage to take out the defending champs, but so did Rival in Winners. This is the only matchup I could honestly see end in a close battle with maybe CL VS. 3RG being a contender. At this time I would still lean towards Rival, but we'll see what the scrims will have to say about that. EMEAMay EMEA Monthly Qualifiers ResultsF/A Jordan 4's: This trio of players were literally assembled 24 hours before the qualifiers started, yet somehow they not only managed to qualify directly to Winners, but they also beat arguably the best team in the region in SK Gaming (they didn't even drop a set). Despite all the drama surrounding this team with Decaii getting perma banned, they were able to pick up Blaksxy who will likely be filling in for him. Also glad to see Buzko playing in his first Monthly Final, but I did not expect it to be with this FA roster. Can they beat Reverso though? Oceanus Gaming: Three Monthly Qualifiers, zero set losses so far. It was honestly a breeze for Oceanus as they never really had to play a super difficult opponent once. Didn't even have to face BC* who were sent to Losers early. A clean bracket for these group, but unfortunately they did not get lucky with the MF bracket RNG as their first opponent will be against HMBLE. This is likely a do or die moment for Oceanus and losing here would hurt them a bit, but luckily for them ZETA & SK will be playing each other in the Quarterfinals so they'll still have a chance even if they lose to HMBLE. Reply Totem: Totem is back and honestly about damn time. Totem were able to find their form again this month and even managed to beat HMBLE to qualify directly from Winners. While SK did qualify from the Losers Bracket, they were thankfully not paired up with them this time. Instead they got an opponent who will be playing in their first Monthly Final this year in Ladder>Skill. If Totem somehow don't beat them though next week, I might start doubting them again. Please just win one match on the big stage. ZETA DIVISION: Hold on let me put on my surprised face real quick. Wow ZETA qualified from Winners again? That's so crazy! Who could've seen this coming? But for real though this is pretty good for ZETA as they were able to easily qualify directly from Winners and managed to beat Eclipsar in the process. ZETA will be looking to defend their Monthly Final crown and try to win a second straight. They were paired up with SK in their first match, but if they win that they should be golden for a Grand Finals spot. It's never easy winning multiple in the most competitive region, but these guys make it look easy. Will they win another Monthly Final and almost all but guarantee a spot in Worlds? Ladder>Skill: Before I get into anything I just want to say congrats on this team winning against all odds and qualifying for the Monthly Finals for the first time together. This is truly an accomplishment for them and I wish them nothing but the best this weekend against Totem. Now on to the situation, I'll say is that this was very unfortunate for BC that they had to go out like that. A bug ending their chances of qualifying this month and now made it anyones race to claim that final LCQ spot, that's brutal. All you can do now is just hope things work in your favor in the final two months of the season. Treat every game like it could be your last and give it your all moving forward. That's all I'll say about the situation. Reverso Gaming EU: Ay another new team has joined the Monthly Finals! And it's another Italian group too! From what I have heard about them, this group managed to claw their way through the Qualifiers and somehow managed to upset FUT Esports and sent them to Losers. While they weren't able to take down Jordans in the following round, they were able to secure a win against AoF in their Qualifying Match. The bracket RNG gods blessed them with this qualification and they blessed them again by giving them a rematch against Jordan. They were close against them last time so I think they could maybe stand a chance. SK Gaming: Losing to Jordan early in the bracket meant that they would likely have to go through a gauntlet of tough teams in the Losers Bracket as they would have to go up against two solid teams in FUT and Eclipsar. Wait hold on scratch that. I meant Eclipsar and Pale Fox who somehow upset FUT in Losers Top 24 (I watched that match on Teddie's stream and it was insane). PFE did give SK a run for their money, but SK were able to pull through in the end. Eclipsar were no match for them either and that's how they somehow managed to qualify despite all of that happening. Now they'll have to go up against... ZETA. Man they bracket RNG gods were not kind at all this month. HMBLE: This was a decent month for HMBLE overall I'd say. While they weren't able to defeat Totem in their Winners Qualifying Match, they were able to secure an easy opponent for them to qualify from Losers. All was going well until it was revealed they would be going up against Oceanus. And possibly going against Totem in the following round if they beat them. Man can HMBLE ever catch a break this year? First coming up short in the previous two Grand Finals and now this. I will say if they manage to win it all this month, this will be the team to beat the rest of the season. Will their bracket be too much for them to handle, or will we hold a funeral for Symantec's table after he chops it in half with his might fist? May EMEA Monthly Finals Bracket Quarterfinal Match to Watch - ZETA DIVISION VS. SK Gaming: It was either this matchup or Oceanus VS. HMBLE and I think we can all agree that a battle between the two teams that have won a Monthly Final so far this year deserves to be in the MUST WATCH section. The fact that this is a Quarterfinals Match of all things is very wild and bold of the BSC admins, but hey that just means that both teams gotta give it their all if they want to possibly all but secure a Worlds spot this year. The winner likely plays in Grands too as their next round opponents should be easy for both of them. The loser of this match should still be in the Worlds race, but it might be harder to directly qualify with there being two more Monthly Finals after this one. South AmericaMay South America Monthly Qualifiers ResultsCalabresos F/A: This team has yet to lose a single match so far this season as they were able to easily cruise through their bracket without really breaking much of a sweat. Some more good news for them is that their bracket does look pretty easy up until the Grand Finals which is good for them since it means they'll be getting closer to claiming that Worlds spot sooner than we had expected. Calabresos were also recently signed by Spacestation Gaming who dropped their NA roster due to... reasons I won't talk about here, but hey glad to see these guys get signed finally. Team Queso: Things have been going pretty well for TQ so far this month. They managed to breeze their way through an easy bracket up until they had to face Marruecos. It was a close battle, but TQ would come out on top in the end and qualify from Winners. Their LCQ hopes remain pretty hopeful as not only were they able to get a newcomer in the BSC Monthly Finals scene, but one of the teams they were competing with in SKC failed to qualify. If there was a time to give it their all, it'd be this month as a deep run could put them in a good position to take an LCQ spot. F/A MiniPekkas: The MiniPekkas had no trouble in the Qualifiers as they managed to not drop a single set the entire qualifier which included a win against UDP in their final Qualifier match. They will be playing against UDP again in their first match of the Monthly Finals, but they are looking pretty good as of late to the point where I think if they go on a deep run this season, they should be able to at least secure an LCQ spot thanks to SKC not qualifying. Reis Do PL: RDP got pretty lucky they weren't able to face SKC in their bracket. They did have to take on Olimpo who was a bit of a challenge, but they managed to pull through and won the following match against CFZ to qualify. Now they'll have to go up against Marruecos who will finally get to show who they really are after playing against Calabresos in the previous two Monthly Finals. This will be a crucial Monthly Final for RDP as a win would keep their LCQ hopes alive. Marruecos: Marruecos had a pretty easy bracket to start off as nobody was super challenging for them up until the final Winners Match against Queso. It was a hard fought battle, but they came up just short and had to survive SKC in their Losers match. SKC forfeited their first Winners match and had to go on a deep Losers run in order to survive, but after a back and forth battle, Marruecos came out on top in the end and sent SKC home packing early. This win definitely helped Marruecos and their chance of claiming an LCQ spot. While they might have to face RDP in the Quarterfinals, at least they don't have to deal with Calabresos again. Olimpo Squad: Olimpo had to go through a somewhat deep Losers run after losing against RDP in a close match. Luckily they were able to breeze through their next two matches after that and while their match against Blue lock was super close with every set ending in three games, Olimpo came out on top and qualified. Now Olimpo will have to take on the best team in the region as their first opponent in the Monthly Finals. While it might be tough for them to beat, from what we have seen in BSC this year, anything is possible. Mochilas: Another new team has arrived in the South America Monthly Finals and it's a Brazilian team I'm not super familiar with. Looking at their bracket though, it seems they were able to beat Level who made it to the Monthly Finals last month, but they were quickly shut down by Blue lock in the match after that. While they did have to win three Losers matches to qualify, it wasn't super difficult for them as Mochilas managed to win three straight only having issues in one match during that run. Now Mochilas will be facing Queso in their first Monthly Finals together which will certainly be their toughest challenge yet. Urubus Do Pix: A pretty good showing for UDP overall as this Brazilian team had little to no trouble up until their final two matches of the Qualifiers. A loss against the MiniPekkas in the Winners bracket still put them in a win and in scenario, but UDP were able to secure a win against Arranca Diu in a close three set victory. Now they'll be out to get revenge as they will play the MiniPekkas in a rematch in their first Monthly Finals match. May South America Monthly Finals Bracket Quarterfinal Match to Watch - Reis Do PL VS. Marruecos: To me this is the matchup I think that will be the most crucial one for both teams on their quest to claim an LCQ spot. RDP has shown they can take on the best in this region as they almost beat the MiniPekkas last month while Marruecos despite a slow start, have shown they are capable of beating good teams like SKC as well. The winner of this match keeps their LCQ hopes alive for now while the loser might have to rely on a miracle in order to qualify. This should be a good one to watch that will likely get put on the B Stream. North AmericaMay North America Monthly Qualifiers ResultsCT Esports: The former Spacestation roster minus RBM & toast have teamed up with rookie Evex to see if they could maybe keep their LCQ hopes alive since they were able to secure their points from the previous two months. Well, they somehow managed to breeze through the Winners bracket up until their match against Tribe. It was a close contest between these two teams, but CTE managed to pull through in the end in a massive upset. Things keep on getting better for them as the bracket RNG gods blessed them and gave them Homeless as their first match. We'll see how good this group can play on the big stage and I can't wait to see Evex play next weekend. West Coast FA: West Coast introduced a new member to the team in Jheart after cutting Shine from the group, but that didn't stop them from dominating their section of the bracket. They did actually manage to struggle in two of their final three matches going up against the former DC Team with toast on it and Complexity, but they prevailed and a sweep against the Oinkers would clinch them a Monthly Finals spot from Winners. Now they'll have to go up against Luminosity who should be a challenge for this group, but we'll see if they'll be able to get their first Monthly Final match win of the season. Juan Carlos Team: The recently signed JCT group now with a solid staff managed to prove why they are now considered a serious contender for a Worlds spot this year. They were not dropping a single set all the way up to their final match where they managed to beat Luminosity in a three set victory to qualify. Everything went their way this qualifier and things ended up getting better as they will be facing a Motomamis team dealing with ping issues in their first match. We'll see if they can continue this win streak next weekend and we'll see which new org ended up signing them next week as well. STMN: After falling just short of a Monthly Finals crown, STMN got back to work in this qualifier and did not disappoint whatsoever as they easily climbed their way through the Winners side dealing with only one small bump along the road in Motomamis. Unfortunately for STMN, they have to deal with an even bumpier road this month as they will likely be getting a challenging opponent no matter who they face in each round. Their first opponent being Tribe whom they will be facing off in a competitive setting in about a year. This will be crucial for STMN as a win here will keep their Worlds hopes alive while a loss could mean they would have to start from the LCQ... if they even make it there that is. Luminosity: After failing to qualify last month due to Patchy being absent, Luminosity did manage to come back a bit stronger. While they did fall to JCT in their Winners qualifying match, they would end up having to face the Real Ones who were no trouble for them at all. Their bracket for the Monthly Finals though will be tough to get through and while their first opponent will be up against West Coast, their next match (if they win) will be tougher as they will have to get through either Tribe or STMN. Can they pick up the slack and go on a deep run to stay alive in the race to Worlds? Motomamis FA: This FA group with newly added player RBM managed to perform well in their first qualifier together. A solid showing overall only dropping one match and two sets the entire qualifier with their only losses being against STMN. While they were able to qualify by beating a decent NA group in IX Squares, they still have a lot of work to do against JCT in the Monthly Finals. With the ping disadvantage they'll have the entire tournament it certainly won't be easy, but hopefully having RBM on their team will be the saving grace they need to help keep it up in the race for a postseason spot. Tribe Gaming: A good start as always from Tribe, but things did end up taking an unexpected turn as Evex would finally end up beating Tribe under CTE and send Tribe to Losers after failing to do so back in March. While Tribe were able to easily qualify with a win over 512 the next day, the cracks are slowing showing as they have been struggling a bit lately against some of the better teams in NA. With a classic rivalry matchup against STMN coming up, Tribe will need to sharpen their axes and prepare themselves for a crucial battle in order to keep their lead on the NA leaderboards. Homeless: These Homeless players had a tough challenge ahead of them as they no longer had Steel nor Evex on their team. Luckily with the addition of a veteran player in Shine on their team, they were able to at least make some progress in Winners before losing to Luminosity in a close three set match. They then had to win three straight matches to qualify and luckily for them, they didn't have much issue with any of their opponents (except for maybe one team named Game Two Players). The Oinkers were no issue and we finally get to see tacos and Vegeta in their first Monthly Final, but I think Evex and CT Esports might want to put an end to their run next weekend. We'll see if Homeless can go from rags to riches in the Monthly Finals, but just like in real life it won't be easy. May North America Monthly Finals Bracket Quarterfinal Match to Watch - STMN VS. Tribe Gaming: The fact that this is a Quarterfinals match is just criminal, but hey we at least get to see a classic NA rivalry that we only saw once last year due to subregions. Tribe is looking to have a better month after getting upset by JCT last month while STMN is looking to stay alive in at least the LCQ race. A win for Tribe could mean STMN's chances of making Worlds will be near impossible and they will have to try for an LCQ spot, but a win for STMN (and maybe a deep run) could mean it would be anyones game to claim one of the Worlds spots. A crucial match for both teams and the winner of this match would have to likely go up against Luminosity which will definitely be fun to watch. Get your popcorn ready for the lower half of the bracket because it's definitely gonna be absolute cinema watching all four teams fighting for that Grand Finals spot. “And I am”, Sun said from behind Mk. Mk jumped and said, “Don’t do that!”
“Sorry, Sorry”, Sun said. “Ready for training?” Before Sun could take another step, he heard Mk’s bag ball to the ground. He looks back and sees Mk about to attack. “Guss that means yes.” Sun got into his fighting stance and started training in an instant. Mk and Sun continue to fight until Mk stands victorious.
“Yes!”
“Your getting better”, Sun said, picking himself up. He brushed off the dust and dirt from his clothes. “And your powers are getting stronger.”
“Maybe, but they’re not as powerful as you”, Mk says, giving praise to his teacher. Before Sun could say anything else, a crash could be heard from the city below.
“Not again….!”
“This is gonna be fun.” The gray wolf raises her arm to the side of her and summons a claw-like weapon. “Now it’s time to go back to where you belong!” She jumps up and lands on one of the demon's extra arms and runs up to its face. The demon tries to shake her off, but the gray wolf jumps onto a nearby building and looks down on the demon. She jumps down once again and claws the demon’s face. From the impact of the blow, the wolf jumps up to the same building she was on before; her feet sliding against the roof. The demon roars in pain and agony until it disappears into the shadows. Magic surrounds the wolf’s claw-like weapon and it vanishes. “And that is how it’s done.”
“Wow, Monkie King, that was–”, Before Mk could say another word, he falls back. The gray wolf, wearied out by the situation, tries to walk away, but Mk reapers in front of her and says, “That was amazing Monk– O-Oh, your not Monkie King.” The gray toned wolf blinked a few times and then chuckled.
“Clearly.” The gray wolf looks at Mk’s staff and realized that the staff belong to Monkie King. She thinks, “How does he have Sun’s staff? He must be his apprentice.” She gathered her words and said, “You must be Monkie King’s apprentice. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
“You have”, Mk asks.
“Yes. You're the talk of the celestial realm as of late”, The wolf says. She starts to walk away and says, “I’ll see you around, Mk.” Mk looked back at the mountain and then back at the wolf walking away. He looks at his staff and runs up to the wolf.
“Can you teach me that move”, Mk asks, his eyes growing big like a puppy. The wolf looks down and smiles. She then looks back up at Mk and says, “I’m sorry. I can’t. You already have a teacher. You shouldn’t go behind his back.”
“Oh… well, will I see you again”, Mk asked. The wolf looked back and smiled, then said, “Maybe one day.”
“When?”
“Let fate decide.”
“What did she look like”, Mai asked.
“She was gray toned and she had a pendant that looked like the moon”, Mk described. “She had gold eyes too.” Sun almost dropped the scroll he was reading and looked away. He could feel a bead of sweat running down his face.
“Hey, Monkie King, do you know who she is”, Mk asked.
“I-I have no idea who she is”, Sun said, acting ignorant. “And IF she was from the celestial realm, she wouldn’t have come down here. Beings from the Celestial realm don’t travel to Earth.” As Sun went back to reading his scroll, a bright blue light caught the side of his eye. The trio looked over and saw a blue lit portal.
“What the?” Mk walks over to the portal and puts his hand through. He goes to pull his hand back out, but the force of the portal pulls him in.
“Mk!” Mie and Sun try to pull Mk out of the portal but they all get pulled in.
“Mk?” Mk looks back to see the gray wolf looking at him from above. “What are you doing here?”
“It’s you again”, Mk says. “Am I in the celestial realm?
“You are”, the gray wolf says. “But right now, you're in the celestial forest. This is my domain.”
“I’m not here alone”, Mk says. “My friends are here too.”
“Your friends? Does that mean Monkie King is here too”, the wolf asks.
“Yes.” The wolf looks around for a moment and says, “Alright. I’ll help you find your friends. Follow me.”
“Indeed, I do”, the wolf says. “I am this domain's protector among all things.”
“Really?”
“Yes. do you know what an embodiment is”, the wolf asks.
“No”, Mk answered.
“Well, an embodiment is in charge of keeping balance in three places”, the wolf continues, “The celestial realm. Earth. And the lunar realm. There are many embodiments have different responsibilities for what they are named for.”
“So what’s yours”, Mk curiously asks.
“I am the embodiment of Luck and misfortune”, the wolf answers. She looks back and says, “We found them.” Mk looks down and runs over to Sun and Mai.
“Monkie King! Mei!”
“Mk!”
“Thank goodness you're alright”, Sun says. “How did you find us?”
“She helped me.” Sun looks up and sees the gray wolf looking down on him. Sun’s face turned somewhat not convinced and said, “So you came out of hiding, huh?”
“What are you talking about”, the wolf says. “I keep on the low because I don’t like to make a scene.”
“And look at what you did back on earth.”
“Mad that you didn’t kill a demon?” Mai and Mk look at each other and ask in unison, “Do you two know each other?” Sun and the wolf looked at each other for a moment.
“I will slap you, Sun”, the wolf murmured. Sun sighs and says, “She’s my sister.” Mei and Mk looked at both Sun and the wolf and said in unison and surprise, “WHAT?!”
“Yup, I’m his sister”, the wolf days.
“Little sister”, Sun clarified.
“You two don’t look related”, Mei pointed out.
“She looks more like our father and I look more like our mother”, Sun says.
“How did you even get here”, the wolf asked. “Last I checked, the only way to get up here is through the celestial gate.”
“A portal pulled us in here”, Mei said.
“Ah, I see”, the wolf said. “Those would be realm portals. They tend to pop up every now and then.”
“Can you get us home”, Mk asked.
“Well, you can’t go through the celestial gate”, the wolf said. “But there is a way to get you all back on earth. Follow me.” The wolf leads the trio to a wall. The wolf waves her hands in the shape of a moon and a portal opens. “There you go: one portal back to Earth.”
“Thank you”, Mei says. She runs over to the portal and goes through. Sun does the same.
“I guess I’ll see you soon, Mk”, the wolf said. As Mk was about to walk through the portal, he stops, turns around and asks, “What’s your name?” The gray wolf looked at Mk for a moment and smiled.
“Mischief. Mischief Wukong”, she said. Mk smiled and said while waving his arm, “I’ll see you soon, Mischief!” Mk runs through the portal while Mischief waves goodbye. Mischief, the gray wolf, looked at the wall for a moment and then walked back to her home. While she walked, a blue light whispered into her ear.

“I don’t see her”, the other said. From the right side of the building, Mischief opens a sliding door. The twins smile and say, “Mischief”, In unison. Mischief looks over and smiles when she sees Clock Wise and Wise Clock.
“Hello you two”, she says, walking down the steps to the fence where the twins hunh off. “What brings you here?”
“We were playing in the forest, but we found something”, Clock Wise said.
“What is it”, Mischief asked.
“We don’t know”, Wise Clock answered. “But it was black, and it was covering the mushrooms and trees.”
“Black? Can you take me to where you saw it”, Mischief asked. Clock Wise and Wise Clock take Mischief’s hands and lead her into the west of the forest. Clock wise and Wise Clock point over to the tree covered in the black substance. Mischief walks over to the black covered tree and leans down on one knee. She looks at the black substance and her blood runs cold.
“Mischief? What is it?”
“Clock Wise. Wise Clock. Go home and don’y come back until I tell you it’s safe”, Mischief says. Clock Wise and Wise Clock nod their hands and run back to their home. Mischief gets up and summons her claw-like weapon. Black-like mist rolls in and stops at the infected tree. Mischief walks to the right side of the tree and yells, “Show yourself! You are in the domain of luck and misfortune!” Mischief stood in her defensive stance waiting for a attack. She narrows her eyes in agitation; her pupils becoming slits.
“So it is you. At last we meet again, Embodiment of Luck and Misfortune.” Mischief’s hair stood as she slowly looked behind her to see a bug-like demon smiling demonically at her. Mischief’s point-of-view goes dark.
“I don’t remember the forecast saying it would rain today”, Pigsy pointed out.
“Well, what can you do”, Mei said. She looked over at Mk, looking up at the sky. She walks over to him and asks, “Are you still thinking about Mischief?”
“I don’t know why, but when I looked at her, it looked like she was in pain”, Mk said. He looks over at Sun and asks, “How come you never told me you had a sister?”
“You never asked”, Sun said. “And Mischief doesn’t associate with anyone outside her domain.”
“Right….” Mk looked out into the rain and saw a person walking to the entrance gate. But the person wasn’t normal. They had wolf-like ears and a wolf-like tale. A thunderbolt struck through the sky and showed Mischief hurt and beaten. Mischief looks up with her gold eyes as the lightning strikes through the sky and she mouths, “Help me….” Mischief falls to the ground. Mk and the others run over and help Mischief into the sanctuary. They lay Mischief up ugenst a wall.
“Mischief, What happened”, Mk asks with concern.
“He’s back….”
“Who”, Sun asked.
“The demon king”, Mischief answered in a hurt voice. “He’s the king of all demons on Earth and hell.” Mischief lifts herself up and walks over to the opening. “The embodiment of harmony banished him to the Lunar realm.”
“How did he get out”, Tang asks.
“I don’t know”, Mischief says. “He shouldn’t have been able to escape. He’s in the celestial realm, trying to destroy it.”
“Why?”
“Revenge, Sun”, Mischief says in annoyance. “He wants to destroy the celestial realm for what the embodiment of Harmony did. Mk, Sun, you two are the only ones who can destroy him.” Mk looks at Sun and says, “We have to go.”
“Mk, I don’t think this is–”, Before Sun could say another word, Mk interrupted and said, “This is your home we’re talking about! Mischief can't fight The Demon King. We have to.” Sun looks at Mk and then Mischief. He could see a lost and conflicted look on her face. He knew how much Mischief dedicated her life to protect the celestial realm. It was her home. It was his home too. He wouldn’t forgive himself if something happened to the celestial realm. Sun sighed and said, “Alright. Me and Mk will deal with The Demon King.”
“I can take you to the celestial realm”, Mischief says. She takes one step but holds her arm in pain. Tang and Pigsy held Mischief up to her feet. “I’m fine. I can still lead you there.”
“No, you can’t”, Sun says. “Stay here and rest. We have more than one way to get to the celestial realm.”
“I’ll go with you”, Mei says.
“Be careful”, Mischief says. Sun looks at Mischief and puts his forehead to hers.
“I promise, I’ll come back”, Sun said. He looked at Mischief one last time before creating his cloud. Mk and Mei jump on and the three of them fly to the celestial realm.
“Please be safe…”
“They’ll be fine, Mischief”, Sandy says. Mischief looks up into the sky and thinks, “I hope you're right.”
“I’m not sure”, Sun responded. “But this isn’t Mischief domain anymore. It’s not supposed to be like this.” Mei looks over and sees a trail of darkness leading to the upper side of the forest.
“Looks like the dark energy is going upward”, Mei says, pointing to the upper forest.
“Then let’s not waste any time”, Mk says.
“Run!” The trio run to the open hill. The Demon King whips one of his tales around and hits the trio back into the forest. Mei hits the ground while Sun and Mk both hit trees. Mk looks up and sees Sun in pain.
“So that useless embodiment sent you here”, The Demon King said, a demonic laughter following after. Mk lifts himself up and takes out his staff. The Demon King looks down at Mk and says, “The staff of Ra? Oh you have got to be kidding m–” Mk jumps up to The Demon King’s face and hits the top of his head. The Demon King holds his head in pain.
“What in infernos throne?!” Mk hits The Demon King back and he falls on his side. Mk goes for the finishing blow when The Demon King uses his over sized claws to pin him to the ground. “I have faced warlords, kings, and gods, and this is what I face? To think you could have been more than what you are now.”
“MK!”
“Mischief?” Mk gets up with what little strength he has left and looks up to see Mischief ghost-like rendition. “H-How? Are you dead?” Mischief rolls her eyes and shops the top of Mk’s head.
“I’m not dead”, Mischief exclaims. “It's an astral projection.”
“O-Oh.” Mischief looks to the left and snaps her head up to see The Demon King.
“Is that The Demon King? He wasn’t this big when I saw him”, Mischief says.
“I thought you fought him like this”, Mk said.
“No”, Mischief exclaimed. The ground from below starts to rumble. “There’s not much time. Mk, I can give you my power for a short amount of time, but you have to make the last strike count.”
“Are you sure?”
“You're more powerful than you think. If you can master Monkie King’s power, then you can handle mine”, Mischief says, holding Mk’s hands in her own. She lets go of his hands and takes a few steps back and moves her hands in the kanji moon. “Your will becomes strength, and my will becomes your power.” Blue and silver magic flows into Mk’s being. His staff turned blue. Mk’s eyes glow a brilliant blue and he looks up at The Demon King. “Now, Finish him off!!!” The Demon King looks down in confusion and sees Mk covered in a blue mist like magic.
“What?!” Mk jumps up and punches The Demon King multiple times and pins him down to the ground.
“This ends now!!!” Mk dashes down and destroys The Demon King in one strike. The Demon King looks over to Mk in a weakened state and thinks, “So the moon has chosen their champion…..” Mk lands on the ground and holds his head. The blue and silver magic flies off of Mk and returns to Mischief’s astral form.
“You did well”, Mischief said. She looks up and sees the sky start to become a light blue. She smiles and says, “Thank you, Monkie Kid. I'll see you back on Earth.” With that said, Mischief’s astral projection fades away.
“Mk!” Mk looks back to see Sun and Mei run up to him.
“Are you two okay”, Mk asks.
“Aside from the hurting back, I think we’re good”, Sun says.
“You fought The Demon King without me”, Mei projects.
“Sorry”, Mk continued, “It was happening so fast that I didn’t really think.”
“At Least The Demon King is gone”, Sun says. “Let’s go home.”
“Mischief, is there a reason you where on earth”, Mk asked.
“Yeah, I was wondering that too”, Sun says. “You never leave your domain unless it’s to see the council of balance.” Mischief looks away and sighs.
“Well, Since you did save the celestial realm, you deserve to know why I was on Earth”, Mischief says. “I didn’t come to earth to fight a demon. That day, when we met, I was looking for an apprentice.” Sun blinks a few times and says, “An apprentice? Are you sure The Demon King didn’t knock your brains loss?”
“I mean it, Sun”, Mischief says. “I was going to travel outside the city, but when I saw you, Mk, your power was far more powerful than I thought. Mk, I have chosen you to be my apprentice.”
“Hold Up!” Sun hugs Mk in a protective manner and says, “You are not taking Mk to the celestial realm! And plus, Mk already has a mentor: Me.” Mischief rolls her eyes, pushes Sun’s nose and says, “I don’t plan on taking Mk to the celestial realm, you goof. I plan on staying here on earth and at night, I will train Mk. And plus, the celestial realm has gotten a bit stale. You have room for one more?”
“Yes”, Mischief says. “He is now my apprentice. What were you expecting?”
“A light show”, Mei answers.
“ Sorry to disappoint you.”
“Are you sure you're okay with this, Monkie King”, Mk asks, holding his right hand with his left.
“I’m cool”, Sun says.
“Don’t you mean hot”, Mischief teased. She laughed and Sun chased after her.
Monkie Kid: Animal Fury takes place in between season 1, and 2 of Monkie Kid.
Summary: As the journey begins, Mk meets Mischief, the little sister of Monkie King, Sun Wukong and their fate become intertwined.

As the moon started to set on the city, the sun started to rise from behind the mountains. A cool brezze flower through Mk’s window; waking him up. He lifts himself up in his sleepy state and looks around, seeing that it was early morning.“It’s seven? Might as well get up now.” He got up from bed and walked over to his window. He looked outside to see the moon out while the sun was still rising. “Oh cool. The moon is still out.”
Mk walks out the door and get’s in his car. He drives to the mountain. Once he arrives at the mountain, he walks up the stairs to Monkie King’s (Sun Wukong) training dojo.“Monkie King? Are you here?” Mk looked around and didn’t see Monkie King anywhere. “That’s strange…. He said he would be here.”
“And I am”, Sun said from behind Mk. Mk jumped and said, “Don’t do that!”
“Sorry, Sorry”, Sun said. “Ready for training?” Before Sun could take another step, he heard Mk’s bag ball to the ground. He looks back and sees Mk about to attack. “Guss that means yes.” Sun got into his fighting stance and started training in an instant. Mk and Sun continue to fight until Mk stands victorious.
“Yes!”
“Your getting better”, Sun said, picking himself up. He brushed off the dust and dirt from his clothes. “And your powers are getting stronger.”
“Maybe, but they’re not as powerful as you”, Mk says, giving praise to his teacher. Before Sun could say anything else, a crash could be heard from the city below.
“Not again….!”
My jumps down from building to building until he sees a huge demon roaring.“Oh come on…. Another demon”, Mk says in annoyance. Before he could act, a shadow figure enveloped by the sun jumps down and lands on a nearby building. They look up at the demon.
“This is gonna be fun.” The gray wolf raises her arm to the side of her and summons a claw-like weapon. “Now it’s time to go back to where you belong!” She jumps up and lands on one of the demon's extra arms and runs up to its face. The demon tries to shake her off, but the gray wolf jumps onto a nearby building and looks down on the demon. She jumps down once again and claws the demon’s face. From the impact of the blow, the wolf jumps up to the same building she was on before; her feet sliding against the roof. The demon roars in pain and agony until it disappears into the shadows. Magic surrounds the wolf’s claw-like weapon and it vanishes. “And that is how it’s done.”
“Wow, Monkie King, that was–”, Before Mk could say another word, he falls back. The gray wolf, wearied out by the situation, tries to walk away, but Mk reapers in front of her and says, “That was amazing Monk– O-Oh, your not Monkie King.” The gray toned wolf blinked a few times and then chuckled.
“Clearly.” The gray wolf looks at Mk’s staff and realized that the staff belong to Monkie King. She thinks, “How does he have Sun’s staff? He must be his apprentice.” She gathered her words and said, “You must be Monkie King’s apprentice. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
“You have”, Mk asks.
“Yes. You're the talk of the celestial realm as of late”, The wolf says. She starts to walk away and says, “I’ll see you around, Mk.” Mk looked back at the mountain and then back at the wolf walking away. He looks at his staff and runs up to the wolf.
“Can you teach me that move”, Mk asks, his eyes growing big like a puppy. The wolf looks down and smiles. She then looks back up at Mk and says, “I’m sorry. I can’t. You already have a teacher. You shouldn’t go behind his back.”
“Oh… well, will I see you again”, Mk asked. The wolf looked back and smiled, then said, “Maybe one day.”
“When?”
“Let fate decide.”
“She what?”“She killed the demon on her own”, Mk explained to Mai. “I think she was from the Celestial Realm.”
“What did she look like”, Mai asked.
“She was gray toned and she had a pendant that looked like the moon”, Mk described. “She had gold eyes too.” Sun almost dropped the scroll he was reading and looked away. He could feel a bead of sweat running down his face.
“Hey, Monkie King, do you know who she is”, Mk asked.
“I-I have no idea who she is”, Sun said, acting ignorant. “And IF she was from the celestial realm, she wouldn’t have come down here. Beings from the Celestial realm don’t travel to Earth.” As Sun went back to reading his scroll, a bright blue light caught the side of his eye. The trio looked over and saw a blue lit portal.
“What the?” Mk walks over to the portal and puts his hand through. He goes to pull his hand back out, but the force of the portal pulls him in.
“Mk!” Mie and Sun try to pull Mk out of the portal but they all get pulled in.
A portal appears in the celestial realm and Mk falls from above. He hits the ground. He rubs the back of his head and looks around.“Is this… the celestial realm?”
“Mk?” Mk looks back to see the gray wolf looking at him from above. “What are you doing here?”
“It’s you again”, Mk says. “Am I in the celestial realm?
“You are”, the gray wolf says. “But right now, you're in the celestial forest. This is my domain.”
“I’m not here alone”, Mk says. “My friends are here too.”
“Your friends? Does that mean Monkie King is here too”, the wolf asks.
“Yes.” The wolf looks around for a moment and says, “Alright. I’ll help you find your friends. Follow me.”
Mk follows the gray wolf into the forest. Leaves the color yellow and gold fell to the ground. The yellow grass flows as the two walk.“Do you live here”, Mk asks.
“Indeed, I do”, the wolf says. “I am this domain's protector among all things.”
“Really?”
“Yes. do you know what an embodiment is”, the wolf asks.
“No”, Mk answered.
“Well, an embodiment is in charge of keeping balance in three places”, the wolf continues, “The celestial realm. Earth. And the lunar realm. There are many embodiments have different responsibilities for what they are named for.”
“So what’s yours”, Mk curiously asks.
“I am the embodiment of Luck and misfortune”, the wolf answers. She looks back and says, “We found them.” Mk looks down and runs over to Sun and Mai.
“Monkie King! Mei!”
“Mk!”
“Thank goodness you're alright”, Sun says. “How did you find us?”
“She helped me.” Sun looks up and sees the gray wolf looking down on him. Sun’s face turned somewhat not convinced and said, “So you came out of hiding, huh?”
“What are you talking about”, the wolf says. “I keep on the low because I don’t like to make a scene.”
“And look at what you did back on earth.”
“Mad that you didn’t kill a demon?” Mai and Mk look at each other and ask in unison, “Do you two know each other?” Sun and the wolf looked at each other for a moment.
“I will slap you, Sun”, the wolf murmured. Sun sighs and says, “She’s my sister.” Mei and Mk looked at both Sun and the wolf and said in unison and surprise, “WHAT?!”
“Yup, I’m his sister”, the wolf days.
“Little sister”, Sun clarified.
“You two don’t look related”, Mei pointed out.
“She looks more like our father and I look more like our mother”, Sun says.
“How did you even get here”, the wolf asked. “Last I checked, the only way to get up here is through the celestial gate.”
“A portal pulled us in here”, Mei said.
“Ah, I see”, the wolf said. “Those would be realm portals. They tend to pop up every now and then.”
“Can you get us home”, Mk asked.
“Well, you can’t go through the celestial gate”, the wolf said. “But there is a way to get you all back on earth. Follow me.” The wolf leads the trio to a wall. The wolf waves her hands in the shape of a moon and a portal opens. “There you go: one portal back to Earth.”
“Thank you”, Mei says. She runs over to the portal and goes through. Sun does the same.
“I guess I’ll see you soon, Mk”, the wolf said. As Mk was about to walk through the portal, he stops, turns around and asks, “What’s your name?” The gray wolf looked at Mk for a moment and smiled.
“Mischief. Mischief Wukong”, she said. Mk smiled and said while waving his arm, “I’ll see you soon, Mischief!” Mk runs through the portal while Mischief waves goodbye. Mischief, the gray wolf, looked at the wall for a moment and then walked back to her home. While she walked, a blue light whispered into her ear.

Two young cheetah girls run to the front of a traditional, yet modern, Chinese house supported by a platform.“Do you think she’s here”, one of them asks.
“I don’t see her”, the other said. From the right side of the building, Mischief opens a sliding door. The twins smile and say, “Mischief”, In unison. Mischief looks over and smiles when she sees Clock Wise and Wise Clock.
“Hello you two”, she says, walking down the steps to the fence where the twins hunh off. “What brings you here?”
“We were playing in the forest, but we found something”, Clock Wise said.
“What is it”, Mischief asked.
“We don’t know”, Wise Clock answered. “But it was black, and it was covering the mushrooms and trees.”
“Black? Can you take me to where you saw it”, Mischief asked. Clock Wise and Wise Clock take Mischief’s hands and lead her into the west of the forest. Clock wise and Wise Clock point over to the tree covered in the black substance. Mischief walks over to the black covered tree and leans down on one knee. She looks at the black substance and her blood runs cold.
“Mischief? What is it?”
“Clock Wise. Wise Clock. Go home and don’y come back until I tell you it’s safe”, Mischief says. Clock Wise and Wise Clock nod their hands and run back to their home. Mischief gets up and summons her claw-like weapon. Black-like mist rolls in and stops at the infected tree. Mischief walks to the right side of the tree and yells, “Show yourself! You are in the domain of luck and misfortune!” Mischief stood in her defensive stance waiting for a attack. She narrows her eyes in agitation; her pupils becoming slits.
“So it is you. At last we meet again, Embodiment of Luck and Misfortune.” Mischief’s hair stood as she slowly looked behind her to see a bug-like demon smiling demonically at her. Mischief’s point-of-view goes dark.
The moon from above started to disappear from the rain clouds rolling in. Its brilliant light slowly becomes nothing but a dark shadow. Tang looked up at the sky as the rain started to come down.“I don’t think It’s gonna stop raining”, Tang says, walking back inside.
“I don’t remember the forecast saying it would rain today”, Pigsy pointed out.
“Well, what can you do”, Mei said. She looked over at Mk, looking up at the sky. She walks over to him and asks, “Are you still thinking about Mischief?”
“I don’t know why, but when I looked at her, it looked like she was in pain”, Mk said. He looks over at Sun and asks, “How come you never told me you had a sister?”
“You never asked”, Sun said. “And Mischief doesn’t associate with anyone outside her domain.”
“Right….” Mk looked out into the rain and saw a person walking to the entrance gate. But the person wasn’t normal. They had wolf-like ears and a wolf-like tale. A thunderbolt struck through the sky and showed Mischief hurt and beaten. Mischief looks up with her gold eyes as the lightning strikes through the sky and she mouths, “Help me….” Mischief falls to the ground. Mk and the others run over and help Mischief into the sanctuary. They lay Mischief up ugenst a wall.
“Mischief, What happened”, Mk asks with concern.
“He’s back….”
“Who”, Sun asked.
“The demon king”, Mischief answered in a hurt voice. “He’s the king of all demons on Earth and hell.” Mischief lifts herself up and walks over to the opening. “The embodiment of harmony banished him to the Lunar realm.”
“How did he get out”, Tang asks.
“I don’t know”, Mischief says. “He shouldn’t have been able to escape. He’s in the celestial realm, trying to destroy it.”
“Why?”
“Revenge, Sun”, Mischief says in annoyance. “He wants to destroy the celestial realm for what the embodiment of Harmony did. Mk, Sun, you two are the only ones who can destroy him.” Mk looks at Sun and says, “We have to go.”
“Mk, I don’t think this is–”, Before Sun could say another word, Mk interrupted and said, “This is your home we’re talking about! Mischief can't fight The Demon King. We have to.” Sun looks at Mk and then Mischief. He could see a lost and conflicted look on her face. He knew how much Mischief dedicated her life to protect the celestial realm. It was her home. It was his home too. He wouldn’t forgive himself if something happened to the celestial realm. Sun sighed and said, “Alright. Me and Mk will deal with The Demon King.”

The being laughs and says, “So she’s finally chosen an apprentice. This changes nothing. I started working on the Duck Life series when I was 14 years old, and since then, I've successfully launched 8 chapters of the series. After almost 2 years of hard work, I have finally released my most ambitious project to date! As a small indie studio, we could not have accomplished this monumental achievement without the support of our fans and beta testers. The Duck Life series has been a labour of love for us here at Wix, so thank you for hopefully coming along on this adventure with me!
Duck Life 9: The Flock is a game where ducks are still finding new ways to do what they do best - honing their skills and racing their way to the top! This chapter takes the fundamentals of the older games, where you raise a duckling to become a racing champion, while also a boatload of new features - the main one being the ability to cultivate a larger collection of ducks and build them a snug little home on Featherhaven Island. You’ll still find an array of training games (which the franchise is famous for) and mini-games to progress through, but this time, it’s taking place in a much more ambitious 3D space, with farming, fishing, fashion, and more.

Duck Life 9: The Flock is a game where ducks are still finding new ways to do what they do best - honing their skills and racing their way to the top! This chapter takes the fundamentals of the older games, where you raise a duckling to become a racing champion, while also a boatload of new features - the main one being the ability to cultivate a larger collection of ducks and build them a snug little home on Featherhaven Island. I am currently in my first year of Electronics and Communications Engineering in college. So far, I have basic understanding of C, electronic devices and I have worked with Arduino for my class projects. Since I want to get into embedded systems, I looked at the wiki here and decided to learn STM32. I attended a workshop where they used a blackpill and taught us about GPIOs, ADC, motor control and UART. Once I got back home and I tried do those experiments on my own, I was unable to dump the firmware to the board using STlink. This made me feel exhausted. I still couldn't find what went wrong and I stopped learning after a while.
I am lost on trying to know what to learn first. I am unable to understand how the microcontrollers work (like registers, memory and stuff). Should I first learn computer Architecture and 8051 before I grapple with STM32 or should I buy stm32f407 nucleo board and learn from udemy?

Own the car but had to take out a loan. Only had it about a year. If I junk it I'll still be paying for it for two more years.
2015 Mazda6, manual transmission, paid 12.5K about a year ago, 2 years left on loan, around 80K miles
I'm really only a car guy by inheritance. My dad's a gearhead. I'm a car guy in the same way I'm a Yankees fan. I dont actually know cars but I change my own brakes and oil. The simple shit. But I'm pretty much mechanically illiterate otherwise.
I was out of state for a wedding when it broke down, naturally. After hours and hours of trying to get anybody I know in Jersey to gimme the name of a mechanic they trust I had to accept defeat and just have AAA tow it to the best reviewed mechanic nearby and there werent many options. Went to one with overall great reviews but practically every review says the only issue is that they're bad on the phone--sound disinterested, dont respond to your questions in detail, that sorta thing. They werent fuckin kidding. In fact they were downplaying it.
Car got there Sunday. They were closed and I had to be back at work Monday. Called Monday, said they hadnt gotten a look at it yet. Same Tuesday. Wednesday they said my starter was blown. No fuckin shit, it just clicks. You sat in the driverseat and hit the button. I told them what they wanted to hear--just replace the fuckin starter and we'll take it from there. Christ. "Well we'll need you to come down and sign some papers." "I'm 200 miles away." "Oh." Asked for my email and said they'd email me. Give them my email. Nothin. Call this morning. Say they looked more and there's no oil. What the fuck? I never got the light. Alright. The guy tells me it isnt worth fixing and it's either an entire new motor or junk it. They looked at the dip stick and it was dry. So they've pushed the button and opened the hood.
I love this car and I really hate this fuckin guy. I dont trust him and I didnt before he said I needed a motor. Every conversation I've had with him has raised the hair on the back of my neck. My googling turns up mixed but generally bad results. He may be right and I swear I'm not just shooting the messager. It's not a quantifiable thing but I just do not trust him.
Is it really enough to just hit the ignition button and check the dipstick before declaring the motor fucked? Is it worth it to put a new motor in? Worth it to get it towed to another place in that area, worth it to get it towed home so I can bring it to my mechanic?
What do I do? What would you do?
And please spare me the oil change lectures. I know. I'm an idiot and I should have realized how many miles I'd gone between changes even without the light. I just work too much. I dont have the mental capacity to think about anything else. I just got off working 3 pm to 8:30 am a couple hours ago. And I still cant afford this shit.

Our family is getting very close to buying a cargo E-Bike, but we are having a hard time choosing between the Benno Boost and the Benno Remi Demi.
We have one child, a five year old. Our hope is to haul her around on the bike to go school, go to get ice cream, visit friends, etc.. The rides will all be within 15 miles from home. However, we live in Vermont and the terrain is very hilly. I ride gravel on my acoustic bike and my average ride is about 1200ft of climbing for every 10 miles of distance, some of our hills are quite steep; the road we live on has a section that is 19%.
The bike, with myself and my kiddo, will have about 210 lbs of payload on it.
The two bikes that I listed as options are options because they are on Upway right now. Our budget makes Upway our only choice for buying an E-bike. Those bikes on Upway have the Bosch Performance Motor, with 65nm of torque. I can get a Boost that is class 3 for extra money, the Remi Demi only comes in Class 1.
Unfortunately, cause this is Vermont, there is no where to go try these bikes that isn’t 3 hours away. Nor would I want to go waste a LBS’s time when I don’t intend on buying the bike from them.
What do you guys think? Will either of these bikes have enough guts to climb our hills and not feel bogged down? Have your ridden both of these bikes, which did you prefer and why?

I have an appointment tomorrow at motor vehicle to register a car under my name that my mother will be using most of the time.
We both live in different addresses because I moved out of our house maybe three years ago so my license has my new address.. however since my mom will be the primary user of this car when I went to purchase auto insurance, I figured that I would need to put her home address where the car will be 50% of the time or more. both our names are in the insurance policy.
So now I’m afraid that when I go there tomorrow, they’ll give me issues..
because for car insurance, I always get confused if it needs to match the address on your license or not because my situation is a little different..
Any insights on this?

 | For the past 9 years I have regretted selling my '02 S2000 -- I bought it on Ebay Motors in 2005 and flew out to Houston and drove it back to Florida. For 10 years that car gave me so much joy, and even though I DD'd it for the first 8 years I had it I enjoyed every minute of ownership. submitted by -OrlandoVol- to S2000 [link] [comments] While I loved the Comptech Supercharger, I wish I would have kept it NA -- eventually blew up the motor, rebuilt it/sleeved the block (which of course led to AEM standalone, bigger injectors, more boost) and after 2 years blew it again because of a bad build. At that point, we were planning on having a kid -- and I did the "responsible/smart thing" and sold it. I took a trip to Japan back in March -- I rented an S2k for the day to drive from Tokyo to Motegi and toured the Honda Collection Hall/Twin Ring Track and that night I knew I needed another S2k in my life. After sifting through the internet, finding a bunch of trash cars and potential headaches -- I found the one, on cars and bids — 2004 w/112k, 2 owners and zero mods. I won the auction and then flew out to Dallas, and drove it back home to Orlando. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve: -Replaced the suspension with Bilstein PSS9 coilovers -Rebuilt the shifter -Replaced the motor mounts, transmission mounts and diff mounts -Changed the oil/trans/diff fluids -Replaced the valve cover with a new OEM w/ all new gaskets, bolts and seals -Replaced the spark plugs -Did a valve adjustment Car is running like a dream! |

Warning : this is probably the longest post I've ever written. It's awful. If you're expecting something short, run for your safety. Otherwise, take your time and have fun.
So Kaiser and Ness have always been pretty interesting characters since their introduction, but with the most recent chapters and especially ever since the Ness flashback, things have been intensifying and there's a lot going on around these two, especially with potential developments that might happen during the PxG match. Definitely some of my favorite characters in the story thematically.
This will be a huge post analyzing, dissecting and aiming to understand the psyches of both Ness and Kaiser, by following their stories individually, as well as how they intertwine together, how their pattern of relationship is very important to the story as a whole, as well as trying to review a lot of information in hindsight that might make a lot more sense now that we virtually have their entire stories.

This first sentence already sets a very important tone with Ness' character. He is dreamy, he's a child full of wonder with a bit of an obsession for finding magic in things, born into a family that dismisses the existence of unexplainable concepts as a whole and lambasts him for believing in them at all, even as a child. Ness is an irrational being, born into an extremely rational environment, and that fact alone alienates him from his passion, and drives him to keep going until he finds something or someone that will understand him.
Ness has a passion for the unexplainable, not the scientific unexplainable, but more the "incredible" unexplainable, things that seem too fantastic to be believed at first, and yet are still true. He also assimilates his sadness with the lack of understanding from his family among the things that he deems to be unexplainable, whether by his family or himself. Ness has a passion for magic, cannot explain why, and that's part of why he believes in magic so much. His passion is self defined.
And that passion for seeking magic in things, is also what drives him to soccer. The joy that people feel, the roaring fans, the celebrations that come from goals, Ness feels as though soccer is what will allow him to truly bring magic into this world. Which is why I theorize, that with Ness' drive for playing soccer being to bring magic on the field, he might be a self-type ego that seeks to bring magic, the same way Barou seeks the feeling of being the king of the field, or Bachira to become one with the ball (this is a very common theme with self type egos, I might make a post about this one of these days). This is a very important point if we want to understand where Ness' current development in the PxG match could be going.

Ness then takes matters into his own hands and trains relentlessly to pass the Bastard Munchen tryouts, the best club in Germany, so he can have a shot at turning his dream into reality. Ness plays quite well and even shows skills that should allow him to be better than the current BM selection, but he runs into a massive problem ; his individual skills do allow him to keep up, but his plays are ineffective. His magic doesn't work on the world, and the biggest reason why is that no one on the field can keep up with his thinking. Ness lacks the partner that will help make his vision come true.

And that's when a certain someone makes their appearance.
Kaiser grew up in the ashes of a destroyed family. His dad was a theatre director, his mom was an actress, who ended up leaving his dad soon after his birth. His father, unable to bear the weight of both an unwanted child and a failed love life, ended up sinking into alcoholism, gambling addiction and domestic violence.
His father having wasted his fortune completely and being unwilling to work, Kaiser was forced to learn how to steal very early in his life, but his disgusting father's self loathing, resentment and regret towards Michael's mother still ended up reaching him through his father's constant abuse. The treatment he got from his father was the only definition of love Kaiser has ever had, and he ended up internalizing this notion, as well as the feeling that he was not wanted in this world.

Kaiser grew up, and started saving up money from selling the more valuable items that he would steal. For his twelfth birthday, he decided to buy something for himself that would actually allow him to feel alive and closer to his far away objective of leaving his father one day. And that is how he stumbled upon football.
Unlike Ness however, who developed a passion for football simply because he saw magic in it, Kaiser developed an unhealthy attachment to football that would mimic his relationship to his father. It didn't matter how much he abused the ball, the ball wouldn't respond or protest, it'd just stay by his side silently. Kaiser saw in the ball the same form of attachment that his father showed him, he saw himself in the ball, an unwanted piece of trash that would silently take the abuse that was dished out to him. Because that was the only behavior that his father ever showed to him, Kaiser ended up assimilating abuse and violence to love. That is how Kaiser became an abuser himself, which is a very important facet of his character : cycles repeat themselves, and abusers create potential future abusers.

Where Kaiser's story really begins though is when he is framed for a crime he didn't commit and the police enter their home for a search. Kaiser gets hit by his dad, the police find the money he was keeping from his father, and he's about to lose everything that would allow him to leave this life. Kaiser, at that moment, accepts the abuse again, and decides against his own heart that he'd simply take whatever sentence he gets and start saving up money again once he's out. He instinctively changes his mind when his dad decides to poke a few holes into his soccer ball though.

Though Kaiser has an awful definition of what love or attachment really is, the love that he developed for football was still as pure as he could muster. And instinctively, as he sees his father about to destroy the only thing he's ever managed to feel attachment towards, Kaiser rises against the odds and fights as hard as he can. As the narrator says it himself, this is when Kaiser's identity was truly born. This is another very important element that we'll have to keep for later.

Kaiser then goes on to get scouted by a certain PIFA executive named Ray Dark, who heard of the fact that he managed to take out multiple police officers with just a soccer ball. Kaiser is encouraged by Ray Dark to pass the BM tryouts, and is already determined to get as far away as possible from his former life, and this is where Kaiser's ego starts to badly mutate from its purest form, all because of the consequences of his father's abusive behavior : Kaiser is incapable of accepting any form of kindness and is very incline to violence.
Kaiser, from the second he enters the facility and starts training with the rest of the potential recruits, manages to make enemies through his extremely antagonistic behavior. He consistently picks fights, which obviously leads to situations where he's systematically in the wrong, and to people refusing to play with him in the moments that matter the most. This is where the Kaiser Impact is born ; Kaiser decides to create a weapon that won't just help him, but make sure he asserts full and total dominance over others. But he doesn't stop there.

Kaiser starts studying elements of psychology, and his goal is strictly to find out how to manipulate someone and make sure that they would serve him during matches. He needed a lackey, that would serve him under all circumstances, and the best way to find that lackey was to find someone that was close to breaking under pressure and despair.
And this is where the BM tryouts start.

Ness starts out the BM tryout match very hopeful, but realizes that his individual abilities are his only functional tool and that he can't manage to spark magic with the teammates that he currently has. Ness is in a situation of despair, where he is realizing that he might not make it, and that his family was right to treat him the way they did.
Kaiser in the meantime, is in the exact opposite situation. He is alone, certainly, but also not worried : all he is doing is looking for someone with good enough skills, and in a precarious situation whose heart he can safely erode and tame. Ness needs someone to show him that magic does exist ; Kaiser needs a lackey that he can use to reach his goals. Ness needs a friend, Kaiser needs a test subject. Their relationship, is by definition profoundly unequal, and for that reason, Kaiser is also the only one of the two to be aware of that fact.

The rest of the match is pretty obvious : Ness finds a good partner to make his imagination come to fruition, Kaiser finds a dog to feed him passes, they get a hat trick together and are selected for the BM team. The important point though, is that Ness didn't actually find despair in that match : he was on the brink of realizing that he couldn't bring magic alone, but the second he was about to either give up or awaken, Kaiser came to him and became his provider for the magic he was seeking. That is the best way to make Ness' ego, his very being, dependent on Kaiser's existence.
This panel shows this best : Ness' play would've been suboptimal for anyone else, his magic would not have been sufficient for a different player. Kaiser's individual ability however, is so overwhelming that he effortlessly brings Ness the magic he seeks. Ness' magic wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for Kaiser.
Ness has never known what it feels like to create magic alone, and therefore he associates magic to Kaiser's presence. If Kaiser himself fails, that implies a personal failure on Ness' part since it means his magic didn't function. That's an extremely important element to understand for the codependency element of these two characters, and that's part of the reason why Ness has constantly been extremely defensive of every single one of Kaiser's failures so far in the story : the same way Kaiser's dream slowly became his own, his failures feel just as much his as they are Kaiser's.

Kaiser then goes on to become a very vicious player that specifically tries to scar his opponents as much as possible. The impossibility that Kaiser strives for, has become something he wants to incarnate for his opponents, an impossible behemoth to slay, the same way his dad was to him. Kaiser acknowledges this, however he associates the feeling of losing to such impossibility to weakness. To Kaiser, the fact that he let his father mistreat him for that long seems to be proof that he used to be a weak person, and that the true way to fight is to become just as evil and incarnate that feeling of impossibility to other people, as he says it to Ness : "Believing in the impossible is a curse, the instant people believe in the impossible is when they decide to give up. It's a survival instinct to guard against heartbreak, that's the way of weaklings, they kill themselves through this curse. Weaklings who dilute the purity of their egos to live longer are what I hate most in this world".
Kaiser has rationalized the abuse that he has gone through by assimilating his behavior to weakness, instead of recognizing this was the behavior of a child trying desperately to survive against impossible odds. The fact that he sees his past behavior as such and that he decided that he should become an abuser himself to get power back over his life, is already proof that his father's abuse won over his ego, and he doesn't know it himself. This is why his ego is fragile and diluted, and that's how he lost his way.

Both his intention of trying to destroy Isagi by showing him how impossible it is to beat him, and his intention to avoid beating Noa directly by instead trying to publicize himself as being a striker of equal mettle, show how his ego has been twisted from what it originally was : Kaiser has become addicted to the feeling of incarnating impossibility to other players and crushing them, and he has become very avoidant of any challenges that could seem impossible to him, the same way his father's abuse seemed impossible to overcome. He has created himself a predatory mentality unfit for a competitor, and he did it all as a survival mechanism to fight against impossible odds.
The problem really starts however, when his plan backfires, and it turns out the japanese ace specifically thrives on impossible challenges and does not stop improving. Isagi Yoichi, by the time of the PxG match, has become the incarnation of the impossible odds that Kaiser usually wants to avoid, but this time he is conflicted since Isagi is also the exact type of player that Kaiser wants to crush : he is forced to face his own fear, and the more the odds are against him, the more impossibility will catch up to Kaiser. Which is exactly what might lead to Ness' awakening.

Since Ness attributes his magic to Kaiser's success, seeing Kaiser fail (and maybe even resent him for it), is most likely what will bring Ness to the pit of despair that he got to escape from back in the BM tryouts. Ness will have to face his fear of not being able to bring magic to the world alone. And with what's been foreshadowed, I believe Ness' awakening will come with some sort of cooperation with Isagi, which in turn will make Kaiser realize that he is back to facing the impossible behemoth that he faced not so long ago. This is what will make him revert to his purest ego. But what is his purest ego exactly ?
In the case of Kaiser, though his intention was to manipulate Ness, he ended up creating an association in Ness' mind where though Ness sees his purpose in life to bring magic through football, he attributes his ability to bring magic to Kaiser, which means that in Ness' mind, he is incapable of doing it alone. I don't believe that's the case, but for Ness to prove it to himself, he has to try doing it first. The PxG match is the perfect opportunity for this, but that's not all.

Sae and Rin are also a very important example of this, since Sae knew from the start that having Rin associate him to his ego and use him as a reason to play football was a death sentence for both of them. I believe that Sae truly does want to win the Champion's league with his brother, but has let go of that dream and has tried to force Rin to do it as well to make sure both of them would reach their potential before hitting the wall that is the world level.
Reo has always attributed his dream of winning the world cup to the fact that he has Nagi by his side, and cannot really imagine achieving this dream without him. However, if Reo truly wants to evolve, I'm sure a lot of you are already anticipating this, but he has to let go of Nagi and evolve alone, which he most likely will do during the Manshine-Barcha match. Nagi himself doesn't have an objective, and has always improved as a player with the intention of helping Reo achieve his dream, which means that part of his ego is simply helping another player achieve his. Unless the both of them seperate at least temporarily, then Reo will never gain the confidence to achieve his dream alone, Nagi will never gain the ego to have his own dream and play football for the sake of his own passion, and neither of them will be able to cooperate on their common vision of winning together. And the way I know all of this ?
Is because Isagi and Bachira have already showed us the path of how a good duo functions. Bachira almost never awakened his true ego all because his loneliness made him see Isagi as essential to his well being, it forced him to look for players that would be able to keep up with his best football, and when he found them, he already thought he had won. Bachira realized that the only way he could keep playing with the players he admires and wants to rival, is by believing in his way of playing football instead of putting his belief in someone else. This is how duos survive : by having both players becoming better and fulfilled individually, and constantly pushing each other to individually become better before they rely on each other for victory.

My belief is that Kaiser's ego to incarnate the impossible isn't actually wrong, it's just taken from the wrong perspective. What Kaiser was since the very start, isn't a mindless perpatrator of violence that does it out of pleasure for crushing others : What Kaiser is, is a survivor.

No matter how tough the situation, no matter how much his father beat him, Kaiser never stopped believing or dreaming that he would one day free himself from his situation and rise against adversity. It might've been a small flame at first, but when his ego truly awakened was when he actually fought back for the first time. Kaiser isn't an impossible being because he is an unbeatable, violent monster, he is an impossible being because he rises against impossible odds no matter what.

He is unfathomably resilient, and that is something that was very specifically cultivated from his experience of victimhood : Kaiser couldn't have become this kind of person if he was simply an abuser the same way his father was (which is currently what is stifling his ego), the only way he can be this impossible being is by going through what he did and surviving.
And in fact, that's also something that been shown in the manga already. After all, the only moment so far where Kaiser has showed us what could be his greatest performance, was when he had to rely on a play Isagi made to get a goal opportunity, and managed to beat 4 defenders (one of them being the best U20), culminating in a goal that's impossible to replicate even for the greatest players. Kaiser might be a self type ego that seeks impossible situations to reach flow.

A player's personality is often reflected through their playstyle : that's the case with Kaiser, with his KI symbolizing his impossible dominance, and his MV symbolizing his manipulative way of playing with people ; which is why I don't believe it's a coincidence that the one time Kaiser has truly made a play no one else could replicate was when all odds were against him. And yet ironically, this is also the goal that Kaiser hates the most, because he still hates his younger self for not having fought back until the last moment. What he sees as weakness, is what is actually his greatest strength.

So Kaiser and Ness have always been pretty interesting characters since their introduction, but with the most recent chapters and especially ever since the Ness flashback, things have been intensifying and there's a lot going on around these two, especially with potential developments that might happen during the PxG match. Definitely some of my favorite characters in the story thematically.
This will be a huge post analyzing, dissecting and aiming to understand the psyches of both Ness and Kaiser, by following their stories individually, as well as how they intertwine together, how their pattern of relationship is very important to the story as a whole, as well as trying to review a lot of information in hindsight that might make a lot more sense now that we virtually have their entire stories.
Part I : Ness, the Wizard

This first sentence already sets a very important tone with Ness' character. He is dreamy, he's a child full of wonder with a bit of an obsession for finding magic in things, born into a family that dismisses the existence of unexplainable concepts as a whole and lambasts him for believing in them at all, even as a child. Ness is an irrational being, born into an extremely rational environment, and that fact alone alienates him from his passion, and drives him to keep going until he finds something or someone that will understand him.
Ness has a passion for the unexplainable, not the scientific unexplainable, but more the "incredible" unexplainable, things that seem too fantastic to be believed at first, and yet are still true. He also assimilates his sadness with the lack of understanding from his family among the things that he deems to be unexplainable, whether by his family or himself. Ness has a passion for magic, cannot explain why, and that's part of why he believes in magic so much. His passion is self defined.
And that passion for seeking magic in things, is also what drives him to soccer. The joy that people feel, the roaring fans, the celebrations that come from goals, Ness feels as though soccer is what will allow him to truly bring magic into this world. Which is why I theorize, that with Ness' drive for playing soccer being to bring magic on the field, he might be a self-type ego that seeks to bring magic, the same way Barou seeks the feeling of being the king of the field, or Bachira to become one with the ball (this is a very common theme with self type egos, I might make a post about this one of these days). This is a very important point if we want to understand where Ness' current development in the PxG match could be going.

Ness then takes matters into his own hands and trains relentlessly to pass the Bastard Munchen tryouts, the best club in Germany, so he can have a shot at turning his dream into reality. Ness plays quite well and even shows skills that should allow him to be better than the current BM selection, but he runs into a massive problem ; his individual skills do allow him to keep up, but his plays are ineffective. His magic doesn't work on the world, and the biggest reason why is that no one on the field can keep up with his thinking. Ness lacks the partner that will help make his vision come true.

And that's when a certain someone makes their appearance.
Part II : Kaiser, the Blue Rose
It all starts with Michael Kaiser, a different German child with a very different upbringing, but whose destiny would end up crossing paths with that of Ness.Kaiser grew up in the ashes of a destroyed family. His dad was a theatre director, his mom was an actress, who ended up leaving his dad soon after his birth. His father, unable to bear the weight of both an unwanted child and a failed love life, ended up sinking into alcoholism, gambling addiction and domestic violence.
His father having wasted his fortune completely and being unwilling to work, Kaiser was forced to learn how to steal very early in his life, but his disgusting father's self loathing, resentment and regret towards Michael's mother still ended up reaching him through his father's constant abuse. The treatment he got from his father was the only definition of love Kaiser has ever had, and he ended up internalizing this notion, as well as the feeling that he was not wanted in this world.

Kaiser grew up, and started saving up money from selling the more valuable items that he would steal. For his twelfth birthday, he decided to buy something for himself that would actually allow him to feel alive and closer to his far away objective of leaving his father one day. And that is how he stumbled upon football.
Unlike Ness however, who developed a passion for football simply because he saw magic in it, Kaiser developed an unhealthy attachment to football that would mimic his relationship to his father. It didn't matter how much he abused the ball, the ball wouldn't respond or protest, it'd just stay by his side silently. Kaiser saw in the ball the same form of attachment that his father showed him, he saw himself in the ball, an unwanted piece of trash that would silently take the abuse that was dished out to him. Because that was the only behavior that his father ever showed to him, Kaiser ended up assimilating abuse and violence to love. That is how Kaiser became an abuser himself, which is a very important facet of his character : cycles repeat themselves, and abusers create potential future abusers.

Where Kaiser's story really begins though is when he is framed for a crime he didn't commit and the police enter their home for a search. Kaiser gets hit by his dad, the police find the money he was keeping from his father, and he's about to lose everything that would allow him to leave this life. Kaiser, at that moment, accepts the abuse again, and decides against his own heart that he'd simply take whatever sentence he gets and start saving up money again once he's out. He instinctively changes his mind when his dad decides to poke a few holes into his soccer ball though.

Though Kaiser has an awful definition of what love or attachment really is, the love that he developed for football was still as pure as he could muster. And instinctively, as he sees his father about to destroy the only thing he's ever managed to feel attachment towards, Kaiser rises against the odds and fights as hard as he can. As the narrator says it himself, this is when Kaiser's identity was truly born. This is another very important element that we'll have to keep for later.

Kaiser then goes on to get scouted by a certain PIFA executive named Ray Dark, who heard of the fact that he managed to take out multiple police officers with just a soccer ball. Kaiser is encouraged by Ray Dark to pass the BM tryouts, and is already determined to get as far away as possible from his former life, and this is where Kaiser's ego starts to badly mutate from its purest form, all because of the consequences of his father's abusive behavior : Kaiser is incapable of accepting any form of kindness and is very incline to violence.
Kaiser, from the second he enters the facility and starts training with the rest of the potential recruits, manages to make enemies through his extremely antagonistic behavior. He consistently picks fights, which obviously leads to situations where he's systematically in the wrong, and to people refusing to play with him in the moments that matter the most. This is where the Kaiser Impact is born ; Kaiser decides to create a weapon that won't just help him, but make sure he asserts full and total dominance over others. But he doesn't stop there.

Kaiser starts studying elements of psychology, and his goal is strictly to find out how to manipulate someone and make sure that they would serve him during matches. He needed a lackey, that would serve him under all circumstances, and the best way to find that lackey was to find someone that was close to breaking under pressure and despair.
And this is where the BM tryouts start.
Part III : Perspectives

Ness starts out the BM tryout match very hopeful, but realizes that his individual abilities are his only functional tool and that he can't manage to spark magic with the teammates that he currently has. Ness is in a situation of despair, where he is realizing that he might not make it, and that his family was right to treat him the way they did.
Kaiser in the meantime, is in the exact opposite situation. He is alone, certainly, but also not worried : all he is doing is looking for someone with good enough skills, and in a precarious situation whose heart he can safely erode and tame. Ness needs someone to show him that magic does exist ; Kaiser needs a lackey that he can use to reach his goals. Ness needs a friend, Kaiser needs a test subject. Their relationship, is by definition profoundly unequal, and for that reason, Kaiser is also the only one of the two to be aware of that fact.

The rest of the match is pretty obvious : Ness finds a good partner to make his imagination come to fruition, Kaiser finds a dog to feed him passes, they get a hat trick together and are selected for the BM team. The important point though, is that Ness didn't actually find despair in that match : he was on the brink of realizing that he couldn't bring magic alone, but the second he was about to either give up or awaken, Kaiser came to him and became his provider for the magic he was seeking. That is the best way to make Ness' ego, his very being, dependent on Kaiser's existence.
This panel shows this best : Ness' play would've been suboptimal for anyone else, his magic would not have been sufficient for a different player. Kaiser's individual ability however, is so overwhelming that he effortlessly brings Ness the magic he seeks. Ness' magic wouldn't have worked if it wasn't for Kaiser.
Ness has never known what it feels like to create magic alone, and therefore he associates magic to Kaiser's presence. If Kaiser himself fails, that implies a personal failure on Ness' part since it means his magic didn't function. That's an extremely important element to understand for the codependency element of these two characters, and that's part of the reason why Ness has constantly been extremely defensive of every single one of Kaiser's failures so far in the story : the same way Kaiser's dream slowly became his own, his failures feel just as much his as they are Kaiser's.

Kaiser then goes on to become a very vicious player that specifically tries to scar his opponents as much as possible. The impossibility that Kaiser strives for, has become something he wants to incarnate for his opponents, an impossible behemoth to slay, the same way his dad was to him. Kaiser acknowledges this, however he associates the feeling of losing to such impossibility to weakness. To Kaiser, the fact that he let his father mistreat him for that long seems to be proof that he used to be a weak person, and that the true way to fight is to become just as evil and incarnate that feeling of impossibility to other people, as he says it to Ness : "Believing in the impossible is a curse, the instant people believe in the impossible is when they decide to give up. It's a survival instinct to guard against heartbreak, that's the way of weaklings, they kill themselves through this curse. Weaklings who dilute the purity of their egos to live longer are what I hate most in this world".
Kaiser has rationalized the abuse that he has gone through by assimilating his behavior to weakness, instead of recognizing this was the behavior of a child trying desperately to survive against impossible odds. The fact that he sees his past behavior as such and that he decided that he should become an abuser himself to get power back over his life, is already proof that his father's abuse won over his ego, and he doesn't know it himself. This is why his ego is fragile and diluted, and that's how he lost his way.

Part IV : The reality of impossibility
This is where the NEL comes in. From what we know of Kaiser's objectives with the NEL, he has come to crush the local japanese ace, to give himself a publicity boost that would either prove to the world that he isn't inferior to Noel Noa, or to get himself a contract that would allow him to get out of his current club, both so he could compete with Noa in a less direct way, and therefore not have to face the impossible task that is destroying the system that has been built around him.Both his intention of trying to destroy Isagi by showing him how impossible it is to beat him, and his intention to avoid beating Noa directly by instead trying to publicize himself as being a striker of equal mettle, show how his ego has been twisted from what it originally was : Kaiser has become addicted to the feeling of incarnating impossibility to other players and crushing them, and he has become very avoidant of any challenges that could seem impossible to him, the same way his father's abuse seemed impossible to overcome. He has created himself a predatory mentality unfit for a competitor, and he did it all as a survival mechanism to fight against impossible odds.
The problem really starts however, when his plan backfires, and it turns out the japanese ace specifically thrives on impossible challenges and does not stop improving. Isagi Yoichi, by the time of the PxG match, has become the incarnation of the impossible odds that Kaiser usually wants to avoid, but this time he is conflicted since Isagi is also the exact type of player that Kaiser wants to crush : he is forced to face his own fear, and the more the odds are against him, the more impossibility will catch up to Kaiser. Which is exactly what might lead to Ness' awakening.

Since Ness attributes his magic to Kaiser's success, seeing Kaiser fail (and maybe even resent him for it), is most likely what will bring Ness to the pit of despair that he got to escape from back in the BM tryouts. Ness will have to face his fear of not being able to bring magic to the world alone. And with what's been foreshadowed, I believe Ness' awakening will come with some sort of cooperation with Isagi, which in turn will make Kaiser realize that he is back to facing the impossible behemoth that he faced not so long ago. This is what will make him revert to his purest ego. But what is his purest ego exactly ?
Final part : Conclusions, and Kaiser's true ego

Their insistence and outright delusion that Abbie is a "typical teenager doing typical teenager things." There's a difference between setting her up to do the best she can with the hand she's been dealt in life, and outright ignoring the hand she's been dealt in life in favor of just pretending she's like every other teen. They're setting her up for daily discomfort and permanent failure because they want to insist that she's going to be a coffee barista riding her adaptive bike to work every day. She's 19 now, how long can they carry on that delusion before it becomes apparent even to them and EVEN to their most devoted followers that it will never happen? (The followers going on with the delusion are even worse.) Till she's 21? 25?
The truth is Abbie is at the level of a 2 year old baby at most. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not her fault. It's not something she or they need to be ashamed of; birth is a lottery and things happen. She doesn't want her nails painted. She doesn't want to go to loud music festivals and be ripped from her comfort zone to go traveling to a strange place every month. She doesn't want prom (I LOVE Night to Shine and have attended myself, but let's be real, Abbie isn't enjoying it and the attendees who were on Abbie's level usually just stayed in the calming/sensory room). She wants music, toys, food, magazines to rip, and her comfortable spot on the couch. And while I understand that she can't just lie around at home all the time, she needs activities that match her cognitive level and not purely activities that her parents, brother, Summer, etc enjoy.
I remember an old video from about 3 or 4 years ago where Abbie was watching a toddler show--maybe it was Barney I forget--and she was HAPPY, like genuinely happy and not the "happy" Asa and Priscilla insist she is in every video. She was bouncing, had a real smile on her face, making happy vocals especially when the musical parts come on. And Priscilla was standing there crying about how "sad" it was because her 16-ish-year-old loved Barney so much. That's cool that your daughter's happiness and enjoyment makes you sad, Priscilla. I'm sorry you didn't get the mini me you wanted but don't make that your daughter's problem. Get therapy to learn how to accept who she really is. There've been videos where Abbie's received sensory toys from fans, relatives, etc and she had a genuinely fun time playing with them but her parents would either take them away because they were "annoying" or because "they're not age appropriate." Get over it and accept that there's no "age appropriate" and your daughter is 19 by chronological age only, and let her have what she ENJOYS. Enough with the fantasies about a coffee barista riding her bike to work. This girl is on the same cognitive level as Abbie, around 2 years old at age 16. She has a room full of Squishmallows and fun sensory toys, she has an occupational therapist come in weekly to help her with motor skills and walking, she gets glowsticks and water tables and dangling keys and she loves them, etc. And her mother isn't making money off of the videos of her, she's uploading them to show what life is like for someone living with a rare condition and what their family life is like. They are an extremely close knit and loving family and all of the siblings do everything they can to get their sister involved--on HER level. The truth is Abbie is at the level of a 2 year old baby at most. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not her fault. It's not something she or they need to be ashamed of; birth is a lottery and things happen. She doesn't want her nails painted. She doesn't want to go to loud music festivals and be ripped from her comfort zone to go traveling to a strange place every month. She doesn't want prom (I LOVE Night to Shine and have attended myself, but let's be real, Abbie isn't enjoying it and the attendees who were on Abbie's level usually just stayed in the calming/sensory room). She wants music, toys, food, magazines to rip, and her comfortable spot on the couch. And while I understand that she can't just lie around at home all the time, she needs activities that match her cognitive level and not purely activities that her parents, brother, Summer, etc enjoy.
I remember an old video from about 3 or 4 years ago where Abbie was watching a toddler show--maybe it was Barney I forget--and she was HAPPY, like genuinely happy and not the "happy" Asa and Priscilla insist she is in every video. She was bouncing, had a real smile on her face, making happy vocals especially when the musical parts come on. And Priscilla was standing there crying about how "sad" it was because her 16-ish-year-old loved Barney so much. That's cool that your daughter's happiness and enjoyment makes you sad, Priscilla. I'm sorry you didn't get the mini me you wanted but don't make that your daughter's problem. Get therapy to learn how to accept who she really is. There've been videos where Abbie's received sensory toys from fans, relatives, etc and she had a genuinely fun time playing with them but her parents would either take them away because they were "annoying" or because "they're not age appropriate." Get over it and accept that there's no "age appropriate" and your daughter is 19 by chronological age only, and let her have what she ENJOYS. That left me in a situation where I had to sell some players that were just average in last couple of seasons, but had high wages. First game at home TSP won 3-0, going into the away game with lot of optimism. Away game proved to be tricky, we scored first in first half but by the end of the half Rapid was 2-1 up. Second half started good, as we scored for to tie the game 2-2, but then Rapid got into another gear. They were creating a lot of chances and scored two goals in 80's minutes. Last few minutes of the game were very nervy. We advanced with that result and were to face Tottenham Hotspurs in Round of 16. First leg was at home. We drew the game 2-2, which wasn't encouraging. Game in London was one of the toughest games in this save so far. They scored in first 10 minutes of the game and just kept attacking. Our goalie was having the game of his life. That's how the first half ended, going into second half they immediately scored for 2-0. We managed to get the one goal, but the final result was 2-1 for Tottenham. We were eliminated from Europa League. Polish Cup, with good additions in transfer window plan was to go for domestic treble. Cup was taken really seriously even in the early stages of it, while playing teams from lower leagues. In quarter finals we faced Wisla Plock. Even though they were in division below us they played amazing. We had to comeback twice to draw the game 2-2, only to win on penalties. In semifinals we faced Lechia, dominated the game and somehow only beat them 2-1. It was time for Final of Polish cup for two straight seasons. We played against KGHM Zaglebie. They were the favourites to win the game, but we played another amazing game and destroyed them 4-1. That was the second Polish Cup in a row, and one step closer to domestic treble. Polish Cup finals Ekstraklasa campaign was quite successful, but no trophy again. Even though we had a strong squad that could potentially play in three different competitions simultaneously, somehow we still lacked quality to win the league. First part of the season was really successful, we only lost two games, which of course one of them was to Legia. Second part of season was more trickier, slump in March where we lost two games. Drawing 4 a wining 3 in our last seven games did not help. Legia was champions of Ekstraklasa once again. Signing from couple seasons ago Juan Carlos Arana broke the club record of most goals scored in one season, with 31 goals. New signing Sebastian Jorgensen broke the club record of assist in one season with 15 assist. Despite whole squad scoring plenty of goals, Legia was still untouchable. A lot of mediocre performances from strikers, despite me thinking this is the best 3 strikers throughout the save. Talles Wander was particularly disappointing. Plan was to sell him and buy whoever was top scorer of Ekstraklasa at the time. Out goes Talles Wander in comes Mamadou Doumbia. With already 14 goals scored in first half of the season, I thought he was the answer. But he also struggled, missing some easy one-on-ones. On the other hand, new goalkeeper and new central back pairing Hoyo-Kowalski and Efe Sarikaya were on fire. Troughout the season we were battling Legia, but surprisingly Widzew Lodz came out of nowhere and at one point they were 1st with five points clear. Second part of the season, started with mixed results. First three games we had one loss and two wins, after that there was no stopping us. In last 12 games lost one and won 11. Most impressive thing was that Kacper Tobiasz kept 10 clean sheets in those 12 games. In fact he was so good that he broke previous cleen sheet record (held by Lukasz Fabianski with 19 cleans sheets) with his 22. We have finally won the Ekstraklasa. Champions! My favorite part of this was the fact last game of the season was against Legia, so they had to give as a a proper champions walk out (and we beat them 4-3). Here is a photo of this: Champions! Super Cup was played in beginning of the season and we faced Legia. Really tough game, 0-0 in full time and no goals in extra time. Not a lot of chances for either team, and low XG's. Penalties were deciding who would win. They missed two, we missed one and scored the rest and trophy was ours. Super cup Polish Cup, dream of domestic treble was looking more possible than ever. We went easy through first few rounds until we met Lech Poznan in semi finals. We were the better team, scored multiple clear cut chances, but as mentioned earlier our strikers weren't scoring. In the end TSP got FM'd and we lost on penalties. European football was back, we beat AaB (Denmark), Dnipro-1 (Ukraine) and SK Rapid (Austria) to book our place in Europa League - league stage. There we had some good performances. Four wins, two draws and 2 losses and we ended in 15th position to advance to Knock Out Play off round. There we met FC Utrecht (Holland). They were one of the teams the we won against in leagues stage. In first leg, away, our strikes couldn't score, on the other hand Utrecht scored almost every good chance they had. Game ended 3-0 and it was time to prepare for the home game. TSP dominated the game, 17 shots to their 2, but we only scored one. In the end they advanced to the next round. Europa league Best XI for this season: XI Bonus - Season 8: After winning the Ekstraklasa, my plan was to resign and find another long term project. Playing in champions league, and in back of my head fact that we could do domestic treble was really appealing. So, I decided to stay for one more season. Immediately I knew that team needed players who previously have played in Champions league. In my opinion team was good, but not Champions League good. So I dove in deep in scouting reports and asked DoF for suggestions. Here comes the fun part! He suggest the 33-year old Ousmane Dembele as a right wing and 34-year old Marco Asensio as targets. Both of them were out of contract, so I check the with their agents and surprisingly they were interested in joining TSP. Problem were wages, even though I had money in transfer budget it was not enough cover their wages. Hard decision needed to be made, sell someone for a lot of money and adjust budgets to bring these two. This made sense, both experienced, played and won Champions League, so I got to work. Only player who could generate a lot of money was 21-year old, former wonderkid, Damian Urbanik. After transfer listing him, best offer came from VfB Stuttgart. After negotiations final offer was €17 million upfront, €7 million after 20 games, and cheeky 20% sell on clause was included. With this money I definitely had enough to offer both Dembele and Asensio contracts. Also team needed another left back. We did surprisingly well in the league phase. Four wins, three draws and 5-3 defeat at home versus PSG put us 11th place. Next up was Knock Out Play off round versus Olympique de Marseille. Tough draw, but I was optimistic. League phase Optimism didn't last long. First game was away, I played 5-4-1 formation. They easily scored 3 goals in first half in what was dreadful performance by whole TSP team. After adjusting the formation, making couple of subs, pressing more we started of second half really good. Scored two goals, but then Marseille started attacking, in last five minutes they scored their 4th goal and final score was 4-2. Second leg, we played really well, had better XG and made lot of chances. Unfortunatly best we could do is draw 1-1. That was the end of TSP campaign in Champions League. I was satisfied how it went, got lot of money for participating and wins during the league phase. I still dreamed of winning the domestic treble. After first game of domestic season (Polish Super Cup) that stayed just a dream. We played Cup winner Lech. Totally dominated the game, made great chances, had better XG. Full time it was 2-2, game went to extra time and then to penalties. Two of our players missed their penalties and Lech won the thropy. Super Cup Polish Cup was another heart break. We went all the way to finals where we played versus Widzew. After finishing 2nd last season, they had an horrible league campaign, they were in relegation zone most of it. Saved them selfs in last two games of the season. Cup final was a boring game, TSP played horrible and we couldn't do anything right. Widzew scored a goal from a free kick in 78th minute and that was the final score. Polish Cup finals After realizing that domestic treble is going to stay just a dream, I was totally focused on winning the Ekstraklasa. In first part of the season, we had one defeat, two draws and rest of the games were wins. Strikers were scoring goals again, and so did the wingers. Second part of season was a bit more complicated. Due to playing in 3 different competitions team had to be rotated, and sometimes players that would step in didn't perform well. With that being said, 4 defeats 3 draws and rest wins were enough for TSP win the Ekstraklasa second year in row. Radomiak, Piast and Legia came close few times to almost taking over the first place, but somehow we would score important goals and win the games. One thing that we had this season compared to previous years was consistency. Defenders and strikers were finally all producing some good performances. Wingers were lethal from wide areas. In the end, nine players had double figure goals and Sebastian Jorgensen broke his own record for assists by providing 18 to his teammates. Only player who stayed with the club during this whole save is Marcel Misztal. He went from playing in Polish second tier to playing Champions League football. League table Champions! With (self imposed) transfer and recruitment restrictions, it was quite challenging sometimes but thoroughly enjoyable. "No, in Montmeló I would dare to say that it won't be, because historically for me in MotoGP, it's the worst circuit to try it," admitted Márquez on Sunday when Motorsport pointed out the possibility. "But we'll see how it goes with this bike, I'm not ruling anything out a priori," he added, having yet to ride the Desmosedici at the Catalan track. "From here on, if we continue working as we have done so far, I'm confident that the first victory will come, but I don't want to get obsessed with that," he added. "The thing is that that first victory can come, but to fight with these two riders you have to be perfect in all areas," he said in reference to Jorge Martín and Bagnaia. "The mistake we made on Friday at Le Mans, for example, you can save it one weekend, as happened this time, but not in every Grand Prix. We will have to be very attentive because they don't fail in any qualifying, they always start from the first two rows and that makes life a lot easier," he said, referring to the fact that he didn't make it past Q1 and started 13th on the grid. Despite this, he managed to come back on both Saturday and Sunday to second place, something he himself saw as almost impossible. "You only have to look at how many riders have come up from 13th to second in today's MotoGP. It's difficult to overtake, but it's true that on Saturday after the sprint race I emphasised and sent a message that for me the pace after the race was more important than the comeback at the start. The pace after the start sets the pace for the long race on Sunday. Making an unreal start like Saturday's depends on many factors. On Sunday the start was good but not as good as the one on Saturday. The pace I had in the sprint gave me the peace of mind on Sunday throughout the race to go step by step, to have the third rider close by, which was the (position) I was looking for, I was able to pass him and I saw that I had the pace. It's true that on one lap (15) I set my best time and they (Martin and Bagnaia) went ahead, and that's when I took a second off them, the one I had lost to Fabio Di Giannantonio. So I was happy to fight with the two Ducati riders." And if Saturday's sprint start was spectacular, he was fourth on the first lap, Sunday was no slouch. "I tried to make a start like Saturday, but it also depends a lot on how the others start and in turn 1 I couldn't hold the line like the day before, on the inside, there was a rider and there I could lose time. By securing the position and going through the first chicane I couldn't move up so many positions," he explained. One of the highlights of the race came at the end, when Marc overtook Bagnaia to take second place on the podium. "I launched myself from far, far away. On Saturday in that corner (9-10) I had no confidence, but on Sunday I had a lot of confidence, I could brake very late, I could stop the bike going behind other riders. It is also a corner where you can make a mistake and there is room to manoeuvre, you can go a bit long in the chicane and come back. As it was the last lap (of the race) I expected Bagnaia to attack Martin, because I saw him very aggressive in Jerez (with Marc, whom he overtook twice) and I thought he was going to go for him, because he had acceleration, but I saw that he didn't attack him and I thought I could fish something. I came out of turn eight very well, but not enough to think about going for it, but when I saw that (Pecco) wasn't fighting back I went for it. Then I didn't know where he was and at turn 11 I defended myself and went out at full speed, I thought he would come for me. I could see later on in the images that he tried, that he was right behind me in the last corner, but I had pace and speed in sector four and I was calm, but both of them (Jorge and Pecco) did a great race," he remarked. It was an overtake full of value and symbolism, although Marc played it down a little. "It was a good overtake, but it wasn't for the win. It left a good taste, yes, because it was a good manoeuvre, but it was just one more. An overtake, to be special, has to be the one for the victory," he said. Although Marc doesn't want to be obsessed with victory and doesn't want to say publicly that his real objective is to fight for the title - right now he is third overall, 40 points behind Martín and only two behind Pecco - what the Catalan does value a lot is his state of mind. "What gives me the most peace of mind, and you can see it on my face, is that I'm having fun. You only have to look at the people to see quickly if you are having fun or if you are suffering. This year there is relaxation, we are having a good time... on Saturday we qualified 13th, what can we do, we can't get upset. We knew that it could happen in some Grand Prix and it will happen more times, because there are little things, details that in MotoGP make you lose six positions at once with only two tenths of a second.
