My name is Vivian (pronouns are they/it), I am 19 years old and have been playing dnd for about 5 or 6 years I have DM’d before but I’m a bit rusty as it’s been about 2 years since I have. This game is ongoing and is played on Tuesdays between 19:00 and 22:30 GMT roughly. We use DnD beyond for characters, Discord for talking (cameras optional), and foundry VTT for the game itself.
The game itself is the pre-written campaign Waterdeep: Dragon Heist. This game is somewhat homebrewed with some added content to make certain parts make more sense and to flesh out further content. Most, if not all, of the campaign will be set in the city of Waterdeep and so far the players are in possession of a bakery called The Cheese Cake Phylactery and are caught in a gangwar between the Xanathar guild and Zhentarim thieves guild.

Yes, just like that monsters, "Shaders"...
Entire fleet crew was traveling back home, without dropping a word to one another. Of course, as there was really nothing to talk about to begin with. We just blankly looked at our screens and panels, or even freezing our minds at times, looking into one spot.
Around 80 percent of our "first strike" and observation fleet was destroyed. Their remains, or "corpses", as our warrior race likes to name them, was drifting back there, way on the edge of the dead space quadrants. And we probably won't be able to retrieve any of them at all, like we tend to do with broken down or dismantled equipment...
Our remaining ships wasn't in their "blooming" stage either. Some had broken wings, not fully functioning FTL drives and gears, unstable shields that consumed more energy while trying to stabilize themselves and ultimately failing by simply popping due to unbalanced particle voltage, missing few components here and there, and also had empty pockets of hatches, where our "life-probe's" supposed to be stored. Well, thats due to the fact that some of them were deactivated in that skirmish or used to rescue our crew.
Now we were flying across the expanse of space, back to square one(both literally and figuratively), where it all started. Most of our dining and rest rooms were now overcrowded. Since the most of our Escorting Fleets were obliterated, their helmsmen and crew now was aboard the Mothership, cleaning the deck from all this mess or fixing and repairing systems. And oh holy pores, there was things to repair...
The "Scout Fist" alone had 90 percent of it's weapons broken down and melted. It's main turrets were burnt and smoked with fifty or so shades of gray, showing the complete combat incapacity. Mothership's main shield generator occasionally short-wired, making it look like a giant broken lightbulb, or billboard with electricity problems. Only thing that kept us alive is the hull itself, that, thankfully, was only scratched and "drawn" over with that constant laser beams. I really wonder how big of a repairment fees the Alliance will have to pay for all of this...
As for me? I just stood, (well, not really as these black snipers somehow managed to disable most of our gravitational panels as well so we been half walking-half hovering from now on) on the main deck, surrounded with my fellow generals as well as unused engineers on standby. We have to admit, going straight to the enemy was not the wisest idea, and it will cost us. A lot. I doubted that there could be a possible way to confront them. In fact, after seeing how these "Dark Warriors" fought, any direct assault would end up in their favor, leaving us at their mercy. I didn't know what are we going to do now. Just didn't...
The signal light on the panel blinked, indicating the incoming call. I tiredly waved my manipulator and one of the Ewwlian workers, that was not even supposed to be on this ship, nodded and patched it through.
After a longer than usual static, the main screen finally lit up, revealing the all known war hero, Mikik (despite his firm stance, it was a little awkward to loot at as two Tamlite spiders, one Crickzuk praying mantis, and one Shuulma octopus in their suits with "Q" symbol on their uniform tried to fix one of the gravity panels, blowtorching the floor behind his back).
"Greetings, Your Highness..." He tiredly hissed.
"Likewise, Fleetmaster." I replied.
"I'm rather glad to notify that most of our FTL drives have been stabilised and we can increase our speeds at 40 percent."
"Good" i sighed, rubbing my cuirasses below my metal suit "Reroute energy in main engines and increase the collider particles acceleration."
"Yes, Your Highness..." He nodded then turned to his(and not) crew " Activate FTL drives!" With echoes of "Aye aye sir!" and feet (or appendages for some) stamping, the crew trotted to the engines to activate them to their max. With buzzing of hundreds remaining engines, ships are now flew with their "normal" sub-light speeds, cutting the fabric of space even more than before.
We all just took our seats (or fixated the exoskeleton to the floor in my case). Mikik took a sip from his favorite drink and exhaled:
"Finally... I wonder, what we do now?"
"So do i..." i answered. "What i can say for sure however, is that R'ikitiks lost their status of "Strongest warriors in the galaxy", no offence [gentlemen]..."
"None taken." General lizards waved back and gritted their teeth, realizing the full weight of shame in that statement.
"True, true..." Fleetmaster Mikik sighed. "I can't even imagine that walk of shame when we will tell the senate that our 'Scout Fist' failed. Oh, and the panic of society, it's going to be a nightmare..."
"Yeah, but we can't help but tell them." I growled "Everyone must know how much of a danger these "Shaders" possess. We must unite like never before, if we want our people to be safe." I raised my manipulators in determination.

Suddenly was announced from main intercom by the tech team.
"Oh well, here we go..." I replied.
When we finally entered the system, i entered the observatory room and opened the main telescope to see one of these twins. What i saw however shocked me to my cores. There wasn't two tropical worlds with all their sands and beach water that most of xenos so liked to swim in. What there was instead is two black spheres with red outlines. The oceans was not even visible. Entire landscape was complete darkness. The center of the planet looked like a red eye, rings of glowing lights surrounded the sides. It looked like that rings you see on the stump of the tree, or cırcles of streets in the center of megapolis. It looked like some eldrich abomination consumed and terraformed it...
Once i shakingly shifted my visors from it, i saw even more horrifying picture; Hundreds, no, thousands of darker than black ellipsoids with different sizes were rotating around it, constructing the rings with their bodies.
Suddenly, few dozen of them flew directly to "Scout Fist". They ignored any fire from the support fleets, their ability to dodge every shot made them look twice as menacing. When they reached the Mothership, they have formed the the ring on semi-perpendicular diagonal from its axes around it, spinning in that slow and scary manner. It did not took long enough as all of our systems roared with alarms from incoming laser rain. We were doomed. For sure this time.
Now the atmosphere depressure alarms joined the party as the giant hole was blown straight in the middle of the main deck, sucking in all of ship's crew members. I felt that my exoskeleton too, was losing its posture and slowly started to slide to that breach.
Oh no...
I quickly grabbed one of the panel slabs and tried my best to hold on it. Unfrotunately, the grounding plates that it was installed on, slowly started to come off of its pocket. Just a few more [seconds] and it will be all gone. One last loud metal gritting and i flew base forward in that breach along with that slab i was holding on, spinning like a propeller in the void of open space.
This. Cannot. BE!

I woke up cold like the side of a freezer. With nearly a roar i jumped from my socket, making a flip, and ended up upside down on the ceiling, clinging to the dim spotlight like a [tick].
"Are you okay?" I heard one of the General R'ikitiks asked as the rest of them looked at me from their rest bunks, woken from all the noise i made.
"I'm fine. It was just a nightmare, sorry..." i guiltily exhaled, looking at the dents on the metal i made with my manipulators. Then i jolted from abrupt and yet so familiar intercom announcment:

"Okay, maybe not!" I exclaimed and quickly hovered(Yes, gravity panels was still an issue) from the cabin.
While i could not believe that this is possible, i still wanted to make sure it was just a stupid dream and not some sort of "forecast". I tried my best to move in this zero gravity and swimmed in the corridors like a [jellyfish] retracting my appendages on the walls and propulsing forward. When i managed to get to the main observation compartment, i rushed to the main telescope, pushing aside the navigation specialist before he even could say "Your Highness?!". When i looked trough it, for real this time, i saw that familiar sand-planet, with all it's glory of that cloud clusters, some craters and that famous river on the equator.
What a relief.
"S-sir?"
I looked at the source of meowling, and saw one of the most recognizable Ewwlians in my fleet, Captain Moor. He stood(as much as one could with gravi-panels working only with 20% output) among the navigation team members, with ears slightly folded on the back of his head. One would think that he supposed to be on one of that drone-carrier frigates, but guess what? Yes, it was abandoned and blew up in the dead space as well. In fact two thirds of Mothership itself was disconnected and left behind as it was broken down and became a dead weight on our engines and energy routes. We were only hanging on the remaining disc of one third of it's former glory, crowding it from the toilets to rest rooms.
"Im fine." i camly replied "Well, not completely but everything is better than it could be..."
The concerns slowly faded away from his muzzle and ears flip back up. Then he asked me once again, flicking his tail:
" E-excuse me sir, shouldn't we start to prepare for the landing?"
"Oh, oh right!" i snapped, remebering all of the duties i have to perform on this now one-wreck-of-a-ship. "Tell everyone to gather on main deck, we need to contact the Lyra-1."
He saluted me with firm tail swing and trotted back in the corridors.

It was actually painfully long to properly enter the orbit of this planet. Thats due to the fact that our non-FTL thrusters was kinda in "shambles" as well. So here were are, nearly drifting to this choke-point. And, as all strategically important things, it was well defended. Why it's been pointed out? Thats because entire armada came to meet the remains of our expedition.
When these ships swarmed us, we got an immediate signal, hailing us. With my manipulator wave, it was patched through. On the screen was an wery familiar member of molluscoid species:
"What is the meaning of this?! The 'Scout Fist' wasn't supposed to return! Why more than the half of it is GONE?!" the octopus on the other side of the screen exclaimed. " Also my radars only scans like twenty destroyers, where are the remaining, like, five hundred of them?!"
"Calm down Bluufo..." i tiredly responded. " It's gonna be a wery, WERY, long story..."

My dad left at 18. He became a musician in the bay area , and was always adjacent to the lgbt community there . Most of my parents friends growing up were lgbt . My mom has always been adjacent to the lgbt community too. She used to go partying in the Castro at gay clubs as a teenager , had trans friends back in the 80s and dated several bi guys during the aids crisis.

When my Dad was sober , he was wonderful to be around. Tweaked out if his mind , not so much . But now I know why he was so dangerous and chaotic growing up .

He never liked Trump much, if anything disillusioned desperately trying to show me how much of an ally trump is . He's not really socially conservative, more just a massive hatred for the government and authority. Anything about identity politics, he had a very big laissez Faire attitude about. He doesn't want anyone telling him how to be , but also will say that there are types of people and the way they live ,that he strongly disagrees with , but also disagrees a lot more with using government Interference to make them go away . In other words , hes not a freedom for me not for thee conservative. And likewise he doesn't like how gun ownership in America is so biased towards white men and thinks everyone should own firearms, even if they don't use them , because the government typically sides with what demographics own firearms.

She said a lot of stuff to me that sounded like she was hinting to me that she's trans. She told me she was born without ovaries , was ",one of the boys " growing up , and if I'm being perfectly honest, she didn't pass super well. But if she was cis ,definitely was intersex . And some cis women don't pass either so that isn't anything I mean as insulting . But their while relationship felt very strange to me , it always felt like my dad liked her more for her ability to fix things, use tools and stuff, then the fact that she's a woman.
I stopped talking to him years ago . He was starting to associate with a lot of 1%ers (biker gangs like hells angels ) , but he still texts me once a week with what he's doing. Unfortunately I have a new phone number now , and new email, so I don't receive any messages. I know he and my step-mom are divorced now. I think it was a big thing with her accusing him of having FTLD, because my dad ended up with my aunt as a caregiver, and after that , all of his pictures he seems healthier . I don't know if you've ever seen a before/after timeliness of someone with bipolar or schizophrenia when they start medication thar helps them .
I'm now completely stealth, and post op. I think he's getting a lot more mentally healthy, and he looks more sober too . I follow his youtube channel and he's stopped making wacky conspiracy videos and back to his normal go pro adventures.

I also have borderline personality disorder , And have a lot of other cluster B traits. I often wonder if im a high functioning sociopath. My dad is a high functioning sociopath. Well , my mom is too . My mom is dangerous and calculated though , and my dad has standards he holds himself to .I have a lot of qualities of high functioning sociopaths (people tell me I'd be a good CEO , and I have high empathy for people I respect, but practically none for people I don't, and other things ) . And he said when we last talked, when I finally realize this and need help to escape the wrath of her legal and financial oversight she has over my life, due to coercively signed documents, and medical fraud, he'll be there for me . I've contacted just about every organization for help and support and nobody knows how to help me get away from my mom . He does though, I'd contact him , but he doesn't know I'm trans so that complicates things . And I don't know how he feels politically at this point .

· They channel effort towards goals and so give life direction.
· They motivate us to keep going and not give up or be distracted.

· Where goals are related to fulfilling basic needs (e.g. acquiring food shelter, or resources) they facilitate survival.

Ruijerd Superdia is a relatively simple man to understand. Straightforward, stalwart, and diligent; Ruijerd is seemingly incapable of any form of dishonesty or chicanery of any kind. It only makes sense then that such a taciturn man, who prefers to speak through actions rather than words, would so easily relate to children specifically because of their straightforward, honest nature and difficulty to verbally communicate their feelings. Kids, try as they might, are terrible liars after all and, like Ruijerd, tend to adhere to Black-and-White Morality, exhibiting their difficulty in comprehending perspectives outside of their own extremely narrow worldview. If nothing else, Ruijerd can trust that a child will never betray his expectations.
As honed as his detection skills are, Ruijerd's awkward, naive personality leaves him unable to peer into the hearts of others and vulnerable to deception. For anyone familiar with eastern spiritualism, the irony of Ruijerd possessing a third eye is likely obvious. The third eye (or "Ajna") usually denotes "intuition and the ability to see things beyond what you see on the surface." Unfortunately for Ruijerd, the implementation of this concept is only as a very literal "6th sense" and acts more like a "spiritual sonar" than any sort of indication of enlightenment. This inability to parse Laplace's true intentions when recruiting the Superd tribe into the war effort and later adoption of the black spears (against the reservations of his more discerning followers) is directly responsible for the horrific, tragic deaths of his comrades, tribe, and family.
Since the war, the Superd race has been hunted, scorned, and nearly eradicated in retaliation for Ruijerd's heinous crimes. Even had he not personally slain his own kin, the blood of his people (and THOUSANDS of other innocent lives) is both literally and figuratively on his hands. Obviously it would be simple to lay most of the blame at the feet of Laplace for his deception but is this situation starting to feel a little familiar? For anyone as incompatible with innuendo as Ruijerd, don't worry, I'll elucidate.
Ruijerd Superdia is, like most of the cast, a foil to Rudeus Greyrat. More specifically, Ruijerd most closely parallels Oldeus were he to have continued living on well after the series of tragedies that drove him to become obsessed with revenge and consumed by hatred. Both lost their community and families as a result of being tricked by a charismatic greater being, destroyed their reputation, became internationally wanted criminals, and stubbornly refuse to acknowledge their complicity in their own downfall (I realize how harsh that sounds, but bear with me I am going somewhere with this).

Her contribution at this point is, of course, rather passive however it cannot be understated how therapeutic it can be to have such an active listener to engage with when recalling memories that, until recently, you might otherwise associate exclusively with pain or grief.
While consoling Norn in the added chapter "The Master Babysitter" Ruijerd draws a direct resemblance between Norn's current mindset and his son's same nearly identical refusal to be left behind by their father:
After reuniting during the final conflict, her resemblance to Ruijerd's previous family seems to have only intensified. As a child she resembled his son and his dauntless determination, but as an adult she more closely resembles his wife and they eventually marry and have a child together. Such a Happily Ever After is of course about as heartwarming as a basket of puppies, kittens, ducklings, piglets, AND bunnies and is extremely well earned, but I still have a few more things to mention about this clumsy couple.
While a physical resemblance would be the obvious comparison, Ruijerd was probably referring to their personalities. Given what we learn about the original history from Orsted and what we already know about Ruijerd's son, it can be inferred that both were extremely competent, respectable mothers. Norn's daughter, Luicelia Superdia, was destined to become the legendary Superd warrior and last of her kind who single-handedly restores the honor of the Superd Tribe by landing the killing blow on Demon God Laplace. In other words, they both raised an extremely disciplined, competent warrior who defeat an EmperoGod Tier combatant respectively.
Ruijerd's marriage to Norn may not be the climax but it is most certainly the finale of their respective arcs (and is arguably the healthiest marriage in the entire canon).
As I have hopefully demonstrated at length, Ruijerd's development serves to exemplify the healing that can be achieved when you form a healthy perspective of your past no matter how difficult that might be. Allowing oneself to remain chained to the resentment and hatred of being a victim is unproductive and serves only to maintain the vicious cycle of self-loathing, regret, and fear of attachment that prevents you from forming new, healthy relationships.
Ruijerd still has his centuries old trauma but he has finally found what he needed most: Acceptance.

As honed as his detection skills are, Ruijerd's awkward, naive personality leaves him unable to peer into the hearts of others and vulnerable to deception. For anyone familiar with eastern spiritualism, the irony of Ruijerd possessing a third eye is likely obvious. The third eye (or "Ajna") usually denotes "intuition and the ability to see things beyond what you see on the surface." Unfortunately for Ruijerd, the implementation of this concept is only as a very literal "6th sense" and acts more like a "spiritual sonar" than any sort of indication of enlightenment. This inability to parse Laplace's true intentions when recruiting the Superd tribe into the war effort and later adoption of the black spears (against the reservations of his more discerning followers) is directly responsible for the horrific, tragic deaths of his comrades, tribe, and family.
Since the war, the Superd race has been hunted, scorned, and nearly eradicated in retaliation for Ruijerd's heinous crimes. Even had he not personally slain his own kin, the blood of his people (and THOUSANDS of other innocent lives) is both literally and figuratively on his hands. Obviously it would be simple to lay most of the blame at the feet of Laplace for his deception but is this situation starting to feel a little familiar? For anyone as incompatible with innuendo as Ruijerd, don't worry, I'll elucidate.
Ruijerd Superdia is, like most of the cast, a foil to Rudeus Greyrat. More specifically, Ruijerd most closely parallels Oldeus were he to have continued living on well after the series of tragedies that drove him to become obsessed with revenge and consumed by hatred. Both lost their community and families as a result of being tricked by a charismatic greater being, destroyed their reputation, became internationally wanted criminals, and stubbornly refuse to acknowledge their complicity in their own downfall (I realize how harsh that sounds, but bear with me I am going somewhere with this).

Now, however, he had an idea. His son had surely worked hard to become stronger in ways his father never knew about. He’d followed his father’s instructions, and had trained himself with purpose and determination in order to protect both his mother and his village. Ruijerd felt such pride.Just by interacting with Norn and recognizing the qualities she shares with his son, he is finally able to re-interpret what these painful memories now mean to him. Memories which had previously only been a source of regret and shame can now instead be a source of strength and pride. A sentiment he relays back to Norn in the next paragraph:
If Norn felt the same way, then she wouldn’t listen no matter how much Paul told her that he was worried or that she was precious to him.
“If you want to be with someone, you have to get bigger, stronger, more impressive. In order to get there, you’re going to have to bear with your circumstances right now.” His words were clumsy. He wasn’t conveying what he wanted to very clearly.Positivity he gained specifically from interacting with Norn. Her contributions, however, do not stop there. It takes time for her to act upon that advice, but her efforts eventually pay dividends. Both in part thanks to Ruijerd's clumsy guidance all those years ago and her own natural tenacity and grit, Norn Greyrat grows up to become a resilient, self-critical, and emotionally mature young lady with an unshakeable work ethic (albeit still a bit clumsy). If you somehow haven't watched this essay by EliteAri, do so now. It's the sole reason I didn't start with a Norn essay because despite being my favorite character in the series the perfect essay for her literally already exists, so this is about as close as I'm ever going to get to doing a dedicated Norn essay.

We are told that the nuclear family is the best and that strong organized communities are a roadblock to a better life. We are brainwashed to think capitalism is the end of economic history. There is no better system, and all citizens must sacrifice everything to maintain the Line's™ growth. Capitalist realism.
The system makes rich poor divide even bigger. We work more for less, while the rich say that you just need determination and hard work, while being a CEO is just collecting money.

- Dismantling or downscaling harmful industries. To dismantle: Fossil fuels, military, beef, toxic chemicals, private jets and yachts. To downscale: cars, SUVs, energy inefficient homes, meat and dairy, planes, etc.
- Four day workweeks and four hour work days.
- Banning billionaires with a 100% tax on anyone with wealth above, say, 100 million $. The wealth will then be used for publicly owned services, for UBI, etc.
- Moving public services back to public ownership.
- Making basic needs human rights. Large scale free public housing programs, extensive, electrified, disability friendly and fre public transit, universal and free healthcare and education.
- Putting a limit on how much resources and energy can humanity use and how much GHGs can it emit, with stricter limits on the richer countries. Then, go back to the safe limit of 50 bilion tonnes of material use and 0 tons of GHG emissions.
- Ending food waste. In richer countries, this means not throwing away imperfect food or special offers on food. In poorer countries, this means making transport and storage more efficient.
- No planned obsoloscense. Transition to a circular mode of production.
- More localized economies with goods made closer to where you live.
- Environmental and social reparations to the Global South from the Global North and corporations for centuries of imperial plunder.
- Environmental reparations to those harmed by climate change, environmental problems and capitalism from the corporations who caused it.
Ultimately, this means straigh up demolition and dismantling of capitalism and in its place putting socialism, ecosocialism to be exact.

Although Ntsodo did not mention the origin of the jobseeker information in his affidavit, the publication has determined that it belongs to the Cape Metro Council. The 15th person, a woman, said she: had signed a list from “a political party”, but could not remember which one. The names some of the 15 gave over the phone did not match those on the lists. Several cellphone numbers on the lists were duplicated, while others were missing a digit. One person the publication called was so outraged to learn that his number was included on the list that he later sent two voice messages stressing his anger over the situation. Another, a resident of Macassar, denied signing the MKP’s list, but confirmed that she had previously registered on a jobseeker database. The publication also tested several ID numbers on the signed supporter lists on the IEC’s website. About half of the numbers in the sample represented registered voters, while the others were indicated as invalid ID numbers. He also requested that he and his family urgently be placed in witness protection, due to fear of retaliation. WILLING TO NAME NAMES AND LOCATIONS Ntsodo alleged in his statement that he and the rest of the team had worked for about two weeks at the house of MKP secretary-general in the Western Cape Faizel Moosa in Pinelands, Cape Town, compiling the forged lists. Moosa is South Africa’s former ambassador to Qatar. Ntsodo claimed he had reported the team’s daily progress to Moosa and Fumanekile “Fatty” Booi, the Western Cape chairperson of the MKP. Both Moosa and Booi denied any knowledge of Ntsodo’s claims. Booi is a prominent member of the uMkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association who applied for amnesty from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission for the murder of Sergeant Nicholas Els in 1990, as well as the attempted murder of two other policemen, George Beeslaer and Gavin Moyes. On this deadline, McDonald Mathabe, the party’s national organiser, allegedly called Ntsodo and said that: all provinces were instructed to use the jobseekers’ database to obtain their personal details and forge their signatures. He added that this included the Western Cape. The call was apparently made after the IEC had rejected the MKP’s initial application. The media reported at the time that there were questions about the party supporters’ signatures. Ntsodo claimed that he was reluctant to carry out this instruction, but that Dyodo had become angry and referred to a case in which Ntsodo was charged with corruption. He also reminded Ntsodo that his family’s movements were known and could be used to “destroy” him. Both Dyodo and Mathabe denied these allegations. Dyodo said: I don’t know anything about it. That, also, the matter arrives to us as a core component in Stoic teaching which is contradictory and corrective in obvious ways to a person who considers their own local regional national or religious polity and culture as being inherently superior to all others simply because they were born there, i.e. that Ethnos of which via Stoicism could best be said to constitute clay yet-to-be-shaped or mud in a goldpan as yet unsifted to determine of the muddy water what is mud and what is gold and if there is any gold at all, and imagine being offered a bucket of muddy water as payment on the off-chance that some small amount of gold may or may not be contained within it:In essence, then, Demos is Ethnos-as-yet-unworked in the sense that the imposition of ideology ‘as’ Demos is the attempt to provide some shaping or working upon and of the Ethnos. If, therefore, the Demos can be said to be distinct from or not merely just a synonym for Ethnos then Demos we may identify as like a spasm taking place within Ethnos, as that state of political agitation where it is being moved by the lowest impulses of which Logos is either absent or supressed and of which extremely bad consequence occurs which is unintended by the proponents who posit themselves as political leaders (i.e. “the demagogue is the slave of the mob, unable to do anything with the mob but facilitate the worst impulses of it,” e.g. to eat the food reserves today and starve tomorrow, “if a leader wises to lead the mob to Virtue or have them abstain from their impulses they will get rid of him,”) or, if the bad consequence is intended by some criminal clique, then it is simply the matter that the Ethnos has no means to detect criminality or understand what is good and what is bad - either way it is a chaotic thing which we is determinable chiefly by the bad consequence that it produces of which it has insisted were unintentional as it produced those outcomes – which is usually a lie since there are almost always voices within a group who speak Reason but the group ignores these. One key point here I must iterate is that a Senate Hall and a rabble of drunkards in the streets take the same form of Demos if the same criterion are met; the manner to ‘rise above it’ obviously is that the group is capable of hearing Reason and following it to better conclusions whereas the observation that such groups take extreme efforts to avoid doing this is moreso the reality of the situation (i.e. this is why Ethnos as an unconscious thing is a better way to examine it all, in my opinion).
Now, Stoicism, particularly of the Roman Rustic, e.g. Musonius Rufus or Seneca to an extent, articulates these points and connects them up to where they belong so as to identify ‘social influence’ as being the primary drive toward foolish and evil consequences for and of a group of peoples. The cases ‘go silent’ however, and perhaps it is that they are deemed inactionable or perhaps they were made and promulgated and then equated with a political figure and erased, but they pick up again in an allegorical fashion among the Christians as the notion of things which are ‘Demonic’ and there entire thing is turned on its head.

Within the game, 7 human souls are supposed to be powerful enough to transform a monster into a God, which is made evident by Flowey/Asriel. Frisk/Chara’s soul alone was capable of surpassing that power or at the very least defying it, and who’s to say another human couldn’t achieve that same level of terrifying power of will?
Its very clear and evident that the Determination soul type is not a prerequisite to gaining the Save and Load power, and Sans, a monster, is implied to be capable of seeing branching timelines and realities, so another human could theoretically achieve that level of power through sheer will. If even a monster could achieve that, then what’s to stop a random human from doing it? Not to mention that the 6 human souls, completely separated from their original bodies and minds, were capable of acting independently of Flowey’s will and acted upon their own personalities and wishes, suggesting they could also defy death, even as children.
Multiple characters further allude to this fact by suggesting that even with one human soul, a monster could grow to astronomical strength, which is reinforced by Asriel’s story of absorbing Chara’s soul and wielding the power to wipe out everyone in sight. One is a flesh golem that is carrying a sturdy locked casket on it’s back that has an arcane lock. It wields a ships cannon and wear’s bandoliers to carry the cannon balls. There may be a familiar such as a quasit which lingers on the golem and uses its action to at least help the golem load the weapon.
The other is some were-creature, likely a werebear, which is possessed via the Magic Jar spell. Thus this were-creature is a spell caster of at least 6th level magic. It’s real body is in the casket on the golems back. There is a porthole on the casket which allows the Magic Jar to have clear view of other targets / allow the caster to return to its body.
Edit for clarification: - Ships cannon that does 8d10 per every 2 turns, 3 if the quasit is killed (golem will abandon the weapon if rushed down) - werebear body, likely only equipped with robes and an arcane focus / spell components. - the coffin is metal, and chained to the golems back. It is considered ‘equipped’ by the golem - the mage in the coffin is a human equipped with no special equipment. Just a focus and some spell components. - the stats for the the creatures I stated are as they are in the MM save for the equipment changes and spellcasting (spells still to be determined. Depends what has good synergy in this circumstance, perhaps spells to help the golem be mobile / evasive as well as enough damage dealing spells to deal with the party) - the weakness of the enemies here is namely the coffin. Trying to get the golem to drop it by harassing it or getting it to go berserk and throw it off. To avoid this happening the enemy caster has ordered the golem to stay a fair distance back but never more than 100ft so that magic jar still works - the topography of the area will likely be a fairly open place, with some ruins that the werebear can make use of its climbing speed to try kite the party. Possibly on a hill just outside the ruins or on top of a building in the ruins is the golem. - In case it matters, a quick summary on the lore involved here: This mage is a ‘mamba’, the 2nd highest rank in a yuan-ti cult of dark wizardry. The cult is led by a yuan-ti Lich. The lich is also a pirate lord, one of the Dread Pirates Three. As a Mamba the mage is a direct apprentice to the cobra (the Lich). It is the Lich which taught this mage this particular strategy. I was playing with the idea that the werebear body is the product of a True Polymorph Spell.

Trying to get the golem to drop it by harassing it or getting it to go berserk and throw it off. To avoid this happening the enemy caster has ordered the golem to stay a fair distance back but never more than 100ft so that magic jar still works - the topography of the area will likely be a fairly open place, with some ruins that the werebear can make use of its climbing speed to try kite the party. Possibly on a hill just outside the ruins or on top of a building in the ruins is the golem. - In case it matters, a quick summary on the lore involved here: This mage is a ‘mamba’, the 2nd highest rank in a yuan-ti cult of dark wizardry. The cult is led by a yuan-ti Lich. The lich is also a pirate lord, one of the Dread Pirates Three. As a Mamba the mage is a direct apprentice to the cobra (the Lich). It is the Lich which taught this mage this particular strategy. I was playing with the idea that the werebear body is the product of a True Polymorph Spell.
