My local Scheels has a Trek Emonda SL5 Disc on sale for $1.5k. It was a rental so it’s marked down a little. No apparent issues with the frame other than some small cosmetic issues. Shimano 105 groupset. I’m highly considering this bike.
My other option is Canyon Endurace CF. It’s constantly sold out in my size with the same 105 groupset but I could spend more and get the one with Di2 for $3.4k.
I feel like the Emonda is a good deal and am leaning that way but would love any thoughts before I make the purchase.

So I have this badass OTF Microtech that I would like to sell. I am the second owner, as it was gifted to me by my now ex. I have become a huge fan of these OTF knives, and have taken a special liking to the size and powerful kick of the microtechs. This sexy black blade has never been sharpened and has been kept in excellent condition. To be honest I like to show it off to my brothers lol so the only use it has had is being held in my hand and shooting it out and retracting it. :) I cant help it, it's an addiction. It hits hard as hell which other than the beautiful style of the knife made me fall in love with it in the first place. - Christensen Arms CA5five6 .223 Wylde 16" 1:8" Carbon Fiber Bbl M-LOK Complete Upper (Less than 1000rds) - $500
This upper has no issues with it, it realistically has probably 200 rounds through it. I say 1000 to be cautious. It shoots both .223 Wylde, .223, or 5.56 NATO. I bought the it as a complete firearm from Scheels brand new, shortly after I purchased a KAC CQB upper which sits on that lower receiver now. It has sat on a rack or in my toolbox since then. I am selling it simply because I am not a fan of the longer barrel length uppers. It has a Carbon Fiber wrapped barrel and carbon fiber parts on the rail. Included is the following: Factory BCG, Deadair Flash Hider KeyMo, original 3 prong flash hider, Daniel Defense Charging Handle. And I have a plethora of upper receiver accessories I will throw in for free at the buyers request if they would like. (stocks, grips, light/ optic mounts etc...)

it’s always been on my mind why I say for example only Xtraps run on the Clifton hill and Burnley groups but Comengs and Siemens will run on any other line but Pakenham and Cranbourne?

Every time someone posts on here about Traeger or other similar priced grills most of the responses are “get a RecTeq”. I have to admit, I just don’t get it.
I’ve checked out two RecTeq grills (at ACE and Scheels) and didn’t come away overly impressed. They were both the Backyard Beast, which I understand to be the Flagship but with a smaller cookie area and smaller hopper. It’s an $1100 grill. Here are the issues I found:
1 - On one of the two grills I found two bad welds, one already showing a crack all the way through and another with a crack starting 2 - I wasn’t impressed with the lid on this model. It’s not insulated, not double walled, and not particularly thick metal. It’s no thicker than on the Ironwood 650 at the same price. To make things worse, it is front heavy, doesn’t open far enough back. This means that I can give it a slight nudge on the back and it will fall, this is bad enough that a strong wind would blow it shut. 3 - I am not a fan of the one piece cooking grate, having multiple smaller pieces is easier to work with. The grate also wasn’t particularly heavy or thick, no better than what you’d find on a base model Weber really.
The RwcTeq wasn’t bad, it was just not so overwhelmingly great that it is the default choice people make it out to be. The stainless body is nice but not really necessary, the higher end grills like Yoder and LSG seem to be fine without it.
Am I just looking at the wrong model, what am I missing?

Looking to buy my first suppressor, I’ve been told it’s best to just bite the bullet and do a trust. I know silencer central and silencer shop will set up a trust for you, but I’ve always had good luck with Scheels. Anyone know if they’ll set up a trust for you?

Hello, there’s so many options! I have 200$ worth of giftcards to scheels, trying to pick out beginner rod and reels for my SO and I-trying to keep it 100 or under per set up. We are both on the smalleshorter side so im thinking light weight and shorter rods would be best? Going for panfish and bass for now, maybe catfish if the rods we get can handle it (we are in FL for context).

So I have a unique situation where i live where i work as on onsite manager at a storage facility. I tried to purchase a 10/22 today from Scheels and they denied my sale since apparently my address is listed on a do not sell list allegedly provided to them from the ATF. I have a CCW in my state and both my drivers license and CCW are attached to this address with no issues. I asked Scheels how am i supposed to purchase a gun from them and they said i cannot purchase any firearms from them. I just purchased a couple lowers from LGS a few weeks ago with no issues. My fear is this list will continue to be shared with the other gun stores in my area and i will no longer be able to purchase firearms from anywhere. Has anyone had any experience with this before? And if so how do i go about contacting the ATF to correct this mistake since i literally live here. Edit: they did show me a list of “banned” addresses and mine was on it. It did not say ATF anywhere on the list….. not even sure how legal it was for them to show me a list of other people’s banned addresses….
