Soap note for diabetes

TLDR: My 2 year old has always been drinking excessively. I suspect diabetes insipidus but testing doesn’t seem to show it.
My almost 2 year old has been a very thirsty baby from birth. We’d even lie a little about just how much formula he would be having because it was so much. We tried time and time again to lower it and did a tad but he’s always been on the very high end but usually over what is recommended. There wasn’t much we could do about that so we tried our best.
I will mention he has PHACE syndrome and is on propranolol. He has H, A, and E (for eyes). Nothing related to PHACE seems to relate to these symptoms aside from hormonal issues but as I get into below, he’s gotten blood work and MRIs that don’t show anything like a brain tumor or issues with the part of the brain related to hormones.
Once he stopped formula around a year, we moved to almond milk due to a suspected dairy intolerance we had been handling with a specific formula. We were then told to mix his milk with water so he’s not drinking too much milk since he drinks so much. We do that with every single bottle/cup to this day.
We’ve been concerned for a while but I believe it was over summer we wanted to really look into it and got bloodwork etc. to check for diabetes. He’s gotten bloodwork and finger pricks multiple times and anything out of range wasn’t by much and/or doctors didn’t have concerns.
April 5th he had anesthesia for an MRI and wasn’t able to eat or drink prior - I had them run blood testing at that time and his glucose was 105. This shows as high but it isn’t “that” high so I’m not sure what to make of that. They also took ADH which was <0.8 which shows to be within range. They tested his pee and glucose at the pediatrician in March and it was 101 and the pee didn’t come back with anything concerning either.
At this point he drinks I would say at least 25 ounces of watered down milk before 12 pm. We try to not give him any right before bed but he always wants it. So when we get him in the morning it’s like he jumped into a pool. I feel absolutely horrible for him and we try to change him overnight. He doesn’t cry or anything which makes me more sad since he’s just such a good, sweet boy he doesn’t even cry out when he’s soaked.
Even when he doesn’t drink he seems to pee a lot too. And I know this from the MRI fasting but that’s really the only time we could gauge that.
I feel so bad for him. My heart breaks and I worry so much. He doesn’t seem phased at all, but I want to be doing what’s right.
And another side note, he doesn’t do it for comfort. He chugs, signs “more” and sometimes whines or cries when he has to wait for it. And eating wise I think he’s like a normal toddler who is different everyday with what he wants and how much he eats.
So I’m at a loss and will take any advice. TYSM in advance.

Hi everyone,
So my dad has schizophrenia and last night at 2am in the morning he was suddenly screaming. We all ran over to his room and he was awake and seemed very sane and was talking normally but he would scream mid sentence. It was sort of like “why are you awake you should AAAAAAAAAAA go to sleep” “im not sure why i cant stop screaming AAAAAAAAAAAA”. It lasted for 10-15 minutes and we have never seen this happen.
Has anyone ever experienced this? He seemed very normal just couldnt control the screaming. Is it due to his schizophrenia or could it point to something else?
Apart from schizophrenia he has depression, cholesterol and diabetes and i none of these can be the root issue. Though i note he did have dangerously low sugar levels when we tested him yesterday so im thinking it could be that ??

So I just want general advice. About a month ago I gave my cat a bath with animal safe dish soap(probably dawn I don't remember) and after the bath I checked her fur and I saw A SINGLE FLEA!!! it got away from me but I rummaged through her fur again and couldn't find any else, just the one. Today I gave her a flea bath in warm water and couldn't find anything else. No fleas nothing. It's important to note that my gf has been checking her fur ever since that one Incident and hasn't found anything since. So could it be possible that the problem went away the first bath.
Before anyone comments I should add that we will keep searching her fur for fleas as it's just the responsible pet parent thing to do

I have had red itchy small vesicles around my thigh area, feet and hands for a while.
Didn't think much of it at first but as the itch became unbearable about 2 weeks ago I started scratching, at first we (my roomie and I, (29 and 25 y.o respectively) thought these were scabies, we had a problem a few months back but it passed after we used a sulphur mix cream she got from the hospital.
So I was thinking maybe mine just wasn't treated probably but now I don't think that's the case, the closest thing I could find online that resembles what mine look like is dishidrosis, not scabies because the marks aren't in a line which would suggest burrowing, and the dishidrosis itself probably came on from some sort of fungal infection, explaining the pustules and itching on areas other than my hands and feet.
My friend had itchy hands and feet prior to me for a while too, but she said this happens to her every year and she sheds a few layers of skin too so I don't think this was transmitted by her.
I'm sorry for the erratic thought train that I'm writing here but for the last 2 nights my dumbass decided to put wood ash and water mix to my thighs and legs, the places where I had scratched and fucked my skin up the most, and i can genuinely say that i know what being tortured feels like now.
But I persevered because I was thinking it was good for me. Until the second night (the night I'm writing this) I just woke up after going to sleep an hour ago. Before going to bed I had rubbed the ash, waiting for an hour for it to do it's thing, took a shower with warm - relatively hot water, rinsed my lower body before leaving the shower with cold water and then went to sleep sizzling all over but no itches... (I didn't use any shampoo/soap just in case)
I just woke up with a tremendous amount of heat from my lower body (places that reacted the most to the ash), I couldn't contain myself because of the burn/itch/sharp pointed pain from my pores where I have the vesicles/scars, if I get in the blanket the fabric rubbing against my skin + warmth kills me, if I put my leg out it feels like goosebumps all over and everything hurts again.
I got up, put on some primrose oil cream on the parts, now it feels a bit better but I'm afraid this won't go away, and I'm afraid I don't know what the fuck is up with me
I have never had any condition like this before in my life.I couldn't go to a doctor because I don't have insurance right now and no money either.
I can share photos with you guys in DMS if you're interested in helping out.

Note:
First night with ash cream hurt less (still genuinely torturous, and the redness around the dots seemed to have gone, and the vesicles shrunk.
Second night with ash was much worse in terms of pain, and after waiting the same amount of time and cleaning, the pustules or the pores I guess, now are very much exaggerated, everything got bumpy.
I'd say the pain was an 8 on the belle Browne pain scale due to my shaking.
Some ash is still stuck to places where I had scratched my skin the most, if I scrub it in any way to take it out, I might even faint from the amount of pain, so I'm currently waiting for it to dry and fall.

I know there are some sus “auto-generating” notes used by some PM groups, that’s not what I’m talking about. I saw a post on a PT group where someone was raving about having ChatGPT4 “listening to your visits” via your phone in your pocket and generating SOAP notes from that. Outside of all the obvious concerns about HIPAA and patient and practice data, let’s say your trusted EHR had such a thing built into it that was HIPAA compliant and as safe as all the other crap we use on computers, what would you think about that? Obviously you would need to review and sign off on them for accuracy but let’s say they were 99% accurate and meant you didn’t need to look at or touch a screen, what would you think of that? I feel like something similar is probably the future of healthcare documentation. Outside of all the potential data and privacy problems I think my only concern would be formatting to make sure the info is where I want it to be in my note and the fact that I like to have a note in front of me that I’m typing into (I freehand every note, no templates, macros, etc) because it helps me organize the information as it’s coming in, so I’m afraid I’d be a little all over the place without that structure. But how great would it be to have completed notes at the time of a visit that are accurate and don’t take your attention away from a patient?

Long story short, my 5 year old diabetic cat hasn't taken to insulin since we discovered he was diabetic with a DKA diagnosis. We treated that, and for the last four months have attempted to treat his diabetes. He was chunky before, but much less fat than most cats I see with diabetes. But now he's down to 7 lbs. He has spent the last two days throwing up his wet food.
Since his diagnosis, he's fluctuated between decent days, horrible days, good days, and end of life days. We almost put him down in March because he didn't eat for two days straight, but the morning we were going to go through with it, he popped up and started eating again. He got better and seemed to be doing fairly well after that.
Now he is right back to where he was then.
He's so exhausted. So weak. If we feed him and give him his insulin, he'll puke a few hours later.
I want to put him down here at home with a mobile vet that specializes in euthanasia. My cat hates car rides and I can't handle his last hour on earth being filled with anxiety. The mobile vet doesn't have availability tonight, and tomorrow is literally the only day of the whole year that I actually have to be at work in the office. We are usually virtual, and I have been in charge of having EVERY virtual employee meet for a huge in-person staff day with events, lunches, outings, etc. All on my plate this one day a year. The timing is honestly insane.
My question is—can we wait until Thursday morning to put him down? Is that too late? Is that a normal amount of time? We weren't even thinking of putting him down until lunch time today. I just thought he was a bit sick but going to bounce back like he has in the past. He seems so much worse today than ever before.
Extra Note: we spent a LOT of money treating the DKA. We cannot pour anymore into vet visits to see what else is wrong and/or do another round of DKA treatment. We put a cap on it, and I have to stick with that. I am waiting for him to urinate so I can do a home test for ketones.

Ok so to clarify, My hourly is 25 a hour at my job for 40 hours a week (no overtime allowed, Ive tried lol) and my APR for each card is around 24-27%. Which is about 48,000 a year.
This all started because I used my cards to support me, my ex girlfriend, her mom and her sister. when I was 18 and only getting payed 12 a hour, so i used my cards to cover all of our expenses (especially food).
Not in reference to the VS card, ik that was a stupid card choice now, i just wanted to get her a nice gift). IK blaming the past wont do anything now but still just to give context.
My credit score is at 554 and I need to be able to rent a apartment in august since my rents going up and Ive tried everything (i put around 1,000 to my cards every month) but ill get more then half of my payments taken back in interest esp if i only can pay the minimum.

I’ve tried applying to personal loans but its just messed up my hard inquiries.

I need some advice/opinions. So basically last month I randomly went into anaphylaxis. (for reference I’m not allergic to anything, but I am type one diabetic) So I got up around 12:00 pm ish and decided to go to the kitchen,and eat a banana.(fyi I had a banana smoothie the night before and nothing happened ) then a couple minutes later I went into my friends room,I sat there until about 1:00 when my stomach started to hurt (witch seemed normal to me) (i also want to add I felt like I was going to throw up so I took a gravol and drank some water) i checked my blood sugar and I was high so I did a correction. a couple minutes later my arm (right) went completely numb And I started to panic,then I had INTENSE!chest pain on the same side (my friend thought I was having a heart attack) then my ears popped and I couldn’t hear well, then hives started to appear on my chest face and underarm, and my throat started to close . (at this point I was completely sobbing and my friend asked if I wanted to call an ambulance) after about 5 minutes I agreed. I got up and started to pack my bag. then me and my friend went outside to wait for the ambulance, when it came they gave me epinephrine and some other medication. (at this point my heart rate was 220) and they drove me to the emergency room, long story short(er) the doctors said that it probably wasn’t bananas because I had a banana smoothie the night before and because of the delayed reaction(2ish hours)but just to stay away from them incase. Later when i went home I decided I wanted to tempt fate, so I drank a sip of a smoothie witch contained banana. (then I stayed up all night having a panic attack) but I didn’t have any allergic reaction. ! Important side note: ! I’ve never had bad panic attacks before or really cared about my health (some anxiety but that’s it).but ever since I went into anaphylactics I’ve been having horrible panic attacks every night (or when I try any food) and it mimics the symptoms of my anaphylactics (eg tight throat, chest pain ,numbness in my limbs,and sometimes hives) and its really hard to deal with, I’ve been constantly clutching my epipen just incase and I don’t know what to do. !!!! I’ve been booked for an appointment with an immunologist and allergist for testing so I’ll update when I get that done.(also I’ve been looking into idiopathic anaphylaxis and I’m considering that it could be that because it can be caused by increased immune system which at the time I was sick (and I’m diabetic) and it can also be caused by stress.) !!!!! UPDATE - It’s been a couple of months and a few doctor appointments later and my skin test results came back negative for every thing, in June i am going for my oral test but since I’ve been exposed to banana eg:vape,peels. Since my immune system is extremely messed up with t1D and all of that stuff I am imagining that it is probably an immune problem. I also want to add the past few times I’ve eaten peanuts or peanut butter my mouth has been itchy and tingling but nothing else, that never happened before ether. SUMMERY- I had a random anaphylactic reaction in feb after eating a banana (but I had a banana smoothie the night before and nothing happened) after I came home from the hospital I had a sip of banana smoothie and was fine. I started having panic attacks, I went for testing the results came back negative, went for more tests I have high triglycerides and cholesterol. I already have a messed up immune system (bc I’m T1D) I also have a high white blood count but a good thyroid . I have an oral test in June for banana, since I had the reaction I’ve been exposed to banana :peels and vape. And haven’t had a reaction since. In conclusion I think it could be an immune problem since I’m unhealthy.

Hello everyone! I have been vaporizing some black frankincense resin (Boswellia neglecta) over Palo Santo and I've fallen in love. Scent description from good scents, “the opening note is like smelling a tin of shoe polish mixed with sticky frankincense resins and dry pine cones, the middle notes are frankincense resinous, cedarwood dry, and a tad fresh lemony. The base notes are warm resinous frankincense, dry pine, leather and again tinned shoe polish.” To my nose, It’s very very dark and “sticky,” balsamic, resinous, herbal, spicy, gas station/turpentine-like, woody, and to a lesser extent lemony and camphoraceous. Forgive my vocabulary! It's difficult to capture the magic in words.
I would like to recreate this scent, and I'm def going to buy the b. Neglecta EO from PA, however after sampling a few other naturals I have run into 3 problems:

1. Longevity and sillage - Of course EOs in particular have very little throw and don’t last long. CO2 extracts are definitely superior to the essential oils in this sense, and I’ve been eyeing some frankincense absolutes as well, which leads me to the second issue…
   
2. IFRA limits - it seems like frankincense is generally quite restricted, as many products contain toxins like thujone. Currently with the EOs and CO2 extracts I have, the frankincense note is not powerful enough at it's maximum %. I would need to build the accord with less restricted materials around the small quantity I am able to use.
   
3. Finding Boswellia neglecta/similar smelling ACs (resinous greasy woody pine terpenic cedar leathery): currently the biggest puzzle. I unfortunately do not enjoy the soapy-clean scent of Boswellia carteri, which seems like the most abundant species used. I am afraid of investing in an expensive material and ending up with the lemon dish soap type of frankincense.
   

The candidates i am leaning most towards currently are Olibanum Coeur (Ventos), Robertet’s Olibanol, Bois D’encense, maybe Choya Loban. Based on reviews, Olibanum Coeur and Bois D’Encense are the front runners. If anyone has these items, I would love to hear your experiences with it; what it smells like, longevity and sillage, etc.
I am thinking of using some of the following materials to support it:

• isobornyl acetate
• Pinocarveol
• IBQ
• labdanum
• Prismantol
• Syvlamber (heard it extends the camphor note)
• Fenchol
• B-Caryophyllene
• alpha terpineol
• camphene
• Muscenone
• Vertofix
• Tolu balsam, copaiba balsam, Peru balsam, fir balsam type things
• castoreum or civet (synthetic)
• Myrcene
• B Caryophyllene
• Birch tar or Guaiacol for smoke note
• Palo Santo (if I don't use Bois d'Encense)

Do you think any of these materials would help, or am I way off? Does anyone know what keywords to use for the notes on black Frankincense specifically? I know the only way is through experimenting, but blind buying is hard! I just need some help narrowing down what I'm looking for. So I figured I would ask the experts here! Thank you. 💗

I dont go out if i cant (havent since august last year unles try not to spend anything on non essentials, but i feel like im making myself miserable at no benefit. My boyfriend has been trying to help me by lowering my half of rent and taking me out sometimes so i don’t feel like im stuck, but nothing helps. Margaret loved being a librarian, but it could be awfully dreary at times. It was a slow Saturday afternoon at GreenMeadows library with hardly a patron in site. Being in the center of a major city, she figured there were a plethora of places people would rather entertain themselves with than a library. She almost envied those who seemed to be too busy for everything. The only thing Margaret had going on in her life was flower garden and ever growing collection of books. Most of her friends already had boyfriends so her lack of a significant other only served to emphasize the mundanity of her life.
She tried not to let it get to her. Her life was boring but there wasn't any need to dwell on it. With a cup of hot chocolate in one hand and a book in the other, Margaret idly passed the time until she heard a loud thud from the library center. She got up from her desk to see what it was. Everyone else had already left so she should've been the only one there. She walked down the hall and saw a large black book laying on the floor. The front and back were completely blank and there was no ISBN number in sight.
Intrigued, Margaret picked up the book and returned to the desk. She flipped open the first page to find handwritten notes.

I’m an American that is going to visit Phuket, Vietnam, and Singapore. I take medicine that is in a vile and needs to be injected with a syringe (disposable and small).
I don’t want anyone to think I’m a drug user, or get into legal troubles. Has anyone traveled with medication that needs to be injected? Do I need to walk around with a doctors note? Just not sure what I have to do.
Edit: to be clear. This is diabetic medicine, for stomach injection.

I recently received the Dime sample set as a gift, and I noticed when I searched that there weren't a lot of posts about the brand so I thought I'd do a quick review/summary.
Dime is a clean beauty brand that makes skincare and fragrances. I am not someone who particularly follows/cares about clean beauty and clean fragrances but if you are, that could be a plus for you.
The sample set has five 2ml spray bottles that are nice quality and easy to spray.
7 Summers (Juicy Pear, Sweet Coconut, Fluffy Musk) - clean girl summer coconut. If you find a lot of summery scents to be too sunscreeny or to have too strong a pina colada note, this might work for you. I find it a little bland on its own but it was very nice layered with Leisure in Paradise.
Dans Le Bois (Red Saffron, Jasmine, Cedarwood) - this is their BR adjacent scent. Imagine BR with just the cedary, woodsy notes and no burnt sugar or bandaid notes. I am surprised I like this as much as I do. I am generally not interested in dryer, woodsier scents but this would be really good at an event like a work conference where I want to wear fragrance but I need it to be unobtrusive and professional.
Lovely Sweet Dreams (Freesia, White Moss, Vanilla Cream) - this is just Cheirosa 40 or Mod Vanilla. Like...it is exactly those two. I already own both of those so this is redundant, but it DOES smell nice so if you're in the market for a clean vegan version of either of those, this is the scent for you.
I Love Your Smell, Baby (Lemonade, Sparkling Pomegranate, Warm Vanilla) - I am creeped out by this name, but I do like the scent. It's a basic warm vanilla bean with some sparkly citrus up top. I would have thought that it would be more of a skin scent like Not A Perfume but it's a warm vanilla floral, basically. Nothing spectacular, but easy to wear.
Malibu Night (Muddled Raspberries, Coconut Cream, Soft Musk) - this is my favorite. It smells like a more upscale, adult version of the Victoria's Secret body sprays we used in 2004. It's berries, coconut, vanilla, and a little undertone of soap that I think is the "soft musk". I'd buy a bottle of this to wear to bed or on the weekends when I want something easy and that doesn't linger.
Final thoughts: like a lot of clean scents, the lasting power on these is eh. But, sometimes that is ok. I noticed when reading the reviews on the Dime website a lot of people really liked that the scents "aren't too strong" "aren't overpowering" etc. It's worth reminding ourselves sometimes that people who are not into fragrance as a hobby or form of self expression like we are often find strong, distinct and long lasting scents to be too aggressive and a scent that doesn't stick around more than four hours is a feature and not a flaw to them.
50ml EDTs are $54 which for someone who is used to Lucky Scent niche bottle pricing feels like a steal.
None of these are scrubbers, none of them are incredibly noteworthy or distinctive but they all smelled nice and I had fun trying them out.
