• I am using a TEW 2016 data converted to TEW 2020, it has a lot of issues mainly around personality attributes, everyone - even the most godly person seems to have a hard drug issue or cause issues. This really impacted the moral (0%) and therefore hurt my initial shows. I'm not a fan of playing around with data during a save but it was required to make it playable.
  
• Despite slashing the wage bill with $700k in terminations, and signing replacements on per show deals my basic wage has not changed dramatically, only about $100k.
  
• One unintended consequence of slashing the wage bill has been a massive reduction in Merchandise. I'm making $750k less than my first month. While my live event merchandise sales have increased, I'm $775k down on worker sales.
  
• As one of the few that did watch WCW in 2000, I am surprised you start as small (made even harder by being based South West). Also Hogan was still under contract with WCW until 2002 (just sitting at home), on this data he starts unemployed. Having said that, if he was on your wage bill the challenge would be even harder.
  

I’m getting into applications late in the process, and really want to get my first bit of experience this year. My goal is to begin work in late June-ish and work as much as humanly possible until October-ish. I called around state jobs and they all seem to be filled up and I only got my name/number taken down for emergency fill-in, so it seems that my best bet is to get on a contract crew. I’m looking at 3 different companies, PatRick, Miller, and Grayback, and just worried I’ll pick the wrong one and get less work than if I had picked another. Can I go through 2 or even all 3 application processes and get hired on to make sure I always have work? If I’m away at another job and unable to take a call, I’m not necessarily “fired” right? Maybe I should just push harder for state work? Any suggestions?

An interesting perspective: Rick is the producer of “Rick and Morty”, maybe he’s selling it to inter-dimensional cable or just normie cable companies. Thus, Rick is referring to their audiences, not us. am i overthinking?

I (29f) and my cousin, “Rick” (30m) are extremely close and have been all of our lives. I can’t give too many details because of legal reasons but he made some choices that have landed him in jail.
He has been in an on/off relationship with “Sam” (30f) since they were 15. They now have two kids under the age of 5.
They have had a horrible relationship..toxic actually for a long time. Neither of them, in my unprofessional opinion are mentally well right now over everything they’ve done to each other. Over the last year Rick has talked to me about the issues they were having in their relationship. He shared that he felt nothing was ever good enough for her no matter what he did. He sent me screenshots and she would taunt him and make fun of him for his mental health and shut off his phone for not cleaning the house while she was at work. She was the working parent and he stayed home to take care of the kids. He didn’t mind doing that because he loves his kids and she wanted to move up through the ranks of the company she works for and he supported her. But he also wasn’t a saint and would talk to her like she was stupid and drink.
They are both drunks. No other way to put it. They do a very good job at providing for the kids but alcohol is not good for either of them. Which is what led Rick to land in jail. There is a protective order in place. So when he got a hold of me and asked me to tell her Happy Mother’s Day and that he loved and missed her, I told him no. AITAH?

• By the end of season 1 of Beverly Hills, 90210, the ratings were better than that of Twin Peaks.

• Young had known most of the cast of this show before, except for Ian Ziering and Gabrielle Carteris.
• Young: Tori Spelling worked hard at being an actress.
• Young thinks Bob (Robert) Harbin recommended her to Rosin.
• They needed to replace the father on this show.
• When Rosin started talking to Young about the character of Dylan, she knew exactly who they should cast: Luke Perry.
• Rosin had heard 12 others audition for Dylan. Luke Perry was the first one he thought could not only be cast, but could elevate the show.
• Young had been working on a pilot for Paramount. Another casting director had recommended Perry. When another casting director recommends someone, then one takes notice. Perry came in to read for the part. He said himself to Young that he wasn’t right for the part. She agreed, and told him she would remember him for something else.
• Kurt Geiger also read for Dylan.
• Perry was overwhelmingly Rosin and Young’s choice for Dylan.
• Others that read for Dylan: Matt LeBlanc, Trevor Edmond, Sean Patrick Flannery, David Gray, Carl Evans, Keith Pugan.
• Trevor Edmond would go on to play Evan Potter.
• Carl Evans would play Jonathan Casten in season 6.
• If they liked someone during their audition, they would write OTW by their name – Onto Wardrobe.
• Perry was nervous for his FOX audition.
• The network was lukewarm on him. Aaron Spelling liked him, and had their own production company pay for him.

• Phases during the audition process: 1) Casting director sends out breakdown for a role.

2) Agents and managers submit actors.
3) Casting director goes through the actors. Well known actors go straight to producers.
4) Casting sessions are set up.
5) Producers are then present for callbacks. They look to make sure they’re right for the role, and can have consistent performances.
6) Another callback, this time with the production company.
7) Another callback, this time for the network. Bob Harbin and Wendy Matthews were in charge for FOX.

• Young would constantly talk with Tony Shepherd throughout this process.
• Early in the series, they would have appointments for actors to come in, and they wouldn’t show up. 40% of them would not show up.
• Young would have to tell the producers, “they’re not here, let me find out what’s going on”, while sweating bullets.
• Aaron Spelling built a really beautiful casting room.
• Darren Starr would be there.
• David Stenn (writeproducers) would also be involved.
• Because they were a bottom feeder, they worked with what they had.
• Young had gotten a quote from Luke Perry’s agent and manager, about his salary. However, quotes are not always accurate, so she has to verify the quote.
• The quote was actually lower than what she had first heard.
• The production company, not FOX, paid for Perry’s contract. Usually FOX pays for the contracts.

• Luke Perry gave Young a Christmas present. It was a magnifying glass, and a horseshoe. The magnifying glass, was to help Young look for people like him.
• He also signed a poster of “8 seconds” for her.

James Eckhouse interview:

• Lyman Ward was initially cast as Jim Walsh.
• Carol Potter read with James Eckhouse in front of Aaron Spelling.
• Eckhouse didn’t think he was going to get the part. No way, he thought.
• After Eckhouse left, Aaron Spelling said “there’s something about that Eckhosue.”
• Potter said “Yeah, he’s Jewish.”
• Barry Diller was the head of FOX. He almost always recast someone. For example, the original lead of 21 Jump Street was not Johnny Depp. Depp was recast into that role.
• So, the same thing happened with Beverly Hills, 90210. Ward was recast with Eckhouse.
• Eckhouse looked like someone who would have been against the Vietnam War. They would not have done such a plot, in season 3, if Lyman Ward were Jim Walsh. He didn’t have that same look.
• Rosin had seen Eckhouse on TV, on 30 Something.
• Eckhouse had another audition on the same day as Beverly Hills, 90210. He had a snooty attitude about Beverly Hills, 90210. He didn’t think he was going to do that show. He didn’t even know why he was there.
• His wife, said to get his ass to the Beverly Hills, 90210 audition.
• His other audition was afterwards.
• He doesn’t remember what the other audition was for.
• Eckhouse went straight to the Producers’ audition. He didn’t have to do a round before.
• Young had really liked Eckhouse as a person, as well as his credits. She also liked how “easy” he was. She was comfortable with him. That’s an important quality for her.
• Eckhouse teaches acting now.
• Eckhouse tells a story of how he went to New York to audition for a movie. He would prepare for his scenes. When he’d get there, he’s ask if they wanted him to read for him. They’d say no, they just wanted to get a feel for how he was as a person. So he would get cast, just based off of his personality, at a certain point. They would already know his credits and know he could act.

• Young auditioned Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Affleck came in a few times. Eventually, he stopped.
• Damon would keep coming back, every single time. Young told Damon she’s sorry to keep dragging him in, only to tell him they went with somebody else. Damon told her never worry about him not coming in. He’s always going to come in.
• Eckhouse says there’s one show where he went in 17 times to audition. He’s not going to name the show. He eventually got a part on his 17th audition.
• Eckhouse did not think he did a good audition for Beverly Hills, 90210. It wasn’t his finest hour. He didn’t think he’d get called back.
• He did better during the callback.
• When Eckhouse went to the network audition, he was intimidated by another actor who looked Christian and Scottish.
• Then there was someone else who had tall, dark hair.
• Ken Campbell was also in the audition.
• Eckhouse and Luke Perry were in the bathroom together. Perry almost threw up, from the nerves.
• That’s where Perry and Eckhouse met for the first time, in the bathroom. They loved each other right away.
• Eckhouse really thought Campbell was going to get the part.
• When Eckhouse came back for the network audition, Eckhouse was broke and poor, with two kids. He called his agent. Eckhouse told the agent he didn’t do that well. The agent went to find out what happened. The agent then called Eckhouse back and said, “you were right, you did suck. But you got the part.”
• Rosin said Eckhouse’ previous credits were a huge positive factor.
• Eckhouse was the 2nd highest paid actor during most of the Rosin era.
• During that same network audition, Rosin was confused about something himself. He didn’t know if he worked for Aaron Spelling or someone else. Rosin got confirmation that it was Aaron Spelling.
• Aaron Spelling was always nice to Young.
• When Young’s grandmother passed away, Spelling said how sorry he was, and gave her a big hug.
• When Eckhouse was a director and cast people on another show, it was terrifying. If he said “so and so was pretty good”, someone else in the room would say that person was terrible.
• If Eckhouse saw someone didn’t give their best audition, he’d ask them to do another take, because he could tell they were nervous.
• People from the network would tell Eckhouse, “how dare you waste my time like that. You knew we weren’t going to cast them.”
• Eckhouse would think “give me a break, I just wanted to give them a chance.”
• Eckhouse liked working with the directors on this show, Beverly Hills, 90210. He liked observing them.
• When it was Eckhouse’s first time directing, certain cast members were late. Eckhouse kept looking at his watch. DP Rick Gunter came over and said “let me see your watch”. Eckhouse gave him his watch. Gunter said you’ll get it back at the end of the episode. “That’s not your job.” Let the AD take care of that. You do your job.

• Leslie Bega (Marianne) reminded Rosin of girls from his high school. Anti materialistic.
• He was surprised the company didn’t try to bring her back.
• Young says she was terrific in the pilot.
• Young would always meet anyone agents and managers recommended her to.
• Young: You can also find good young actors in local theater. The tiniest theater in San Fernando Valley will still have someone that Young would want to bring in.
• Rosin agrees with Young about local theater.
• For the character of Nat, Young brought in Frank Gorshin. Joe E. Tata was a friend of Tony Shepherd’s. So that’s how Tata was brought in. Young says their auditions were similar but different.
• In a previous podcast, Rosin had said that Gorshin had an arrogant vibe. He had played The Riddler on Batman.
• Rosin says Joe E. Tata brought in warmth. Whereas Gorshin played it as someone who didn’t want to be there, but would offer sage advice.
• Rosin says Joe E. Tata was introduced to him as a friend of E. Duke Vincent’s.
• The Spelling company paid for overages with Luke Perry’s contract.
• E. Duke Vincent told Rosin that anytime the network asked someone to change something, ask them who is paying for it.
• Rosin says Beverly Hills, 90210 had the lowest license fee in all of network television.
• They haven’t been able to find Lisa Dean Ryan, who played Bonnie on “The Gentle Art Of Listening”.
• Young says maybe she’s moved on to other interests.
• Rosin says Lisa Dean Ryan, and Noelle Parker, had a range of talent.
• Young had hired Ann Gillespie elsewhere before Beverly Hills, 90210.
• Young liked Tico Wells right away. Her advice to him for the next callback was “don’t do too much”.
• Young met Luisa Leschin (Anna Rodriguez) earlier.
• Rosin used to teach an extension class at UCLA. He used to use the pilot for Hill Street Blues as an example. He would even bring in Bob Butler to come in and watch the episode with the class. The pilot had changed his life. But now, he says the pilot does not hold up. It’s too racist and sexist.
• Beverly Hills was run by the nannies and housekeepers. So Rosin wanted to have a maid character, to represent that. And show the diversity of Los Angeles.
• Aaron Spelling did not like the elitism that was shown in the culture of Beverly Hills. So he asked for her character to be removed.
• Young did hear the criticism about people of color not being on the show. Young said it was disappointing to hear, because she did try to bring in different people.
• There was an author that thought Mark Damon Espinoza didn’t have a big enough role. That author went on FOX News to talk about it. Young had that author meet with producer Paul Waigner. Things did not get resolved, and that author remained angry.
• Rosin repeats what he said earlier, about the show having the lowest license fee in television. They didn’t have the budget for new cast members. That’s why they kept having focused episodes about race like “One On One” or “East Side Story”.
• They were eventually able to cast Denise Dowse and Henry Pickens in recurring roles.
• They made sure the extras reflected the racial diversity of Los Angeles.
• Rosin repeats what he said on previous episodes, that he won an Imagen Award for East Side Story. That’s an award that celebrates Latino actors and their positive portrayal.
• Young: Denise Dowse was a delight to sit and talk to. She’s likable.
• There’s a story about Denise Dowse on Seinfeld, but Young says she’s not going to share that story.
• Ok, she ended up telling the story. Young gave Dowse a message to give to Jerry Seinfeld, during the time Seinfeld was working on Seinfeld. Dowse gave Jerry Seinfeld the message, and he doubled over in laughter.

I’m 21 years old from Oregon. As far as I can tell, all fed and state jobs are not hiring this time of year, but there are still job postings for some private contractor companies. I’m looking at a job with PatRick. Does anyone know how fast or slow the hiring process would be with this company if I applied tomorrow? What to expect? I’m mostly just wondering if I’ll be on a job sooner rather than later. I have no fire experience or certifications but I want a career in fire, so this is a good first step I think. I have a ton of experience in sports, working out, and manual labor, and I know I can work hard enough. I just want to get out there ASAP. Thanks.

It seemed like a very twisted kind of coincidence that this would be their first target.
Even after all these years Yang remembered her first Jump. Including the first person to truly provide a challenge for her on her chain. Esdeath, the social darwinist empress of ice and fear.
This entire country had Esdeath written all over it. Without a empire to reign her in or direct her, Esdeath made battle and strenght an even bigger part of herself. The constant blizzard, lethal to all live but the Yaga, who were further kept on their toes with mutated demonic beasts and pushed to further evolve beyond what they should be capable of... all a sign of a woman trying to find an ever greater challenge.
In a way that could be beneficial. Esdeath was a true believer in the strong rule the weak. If she was beaten... maybe she could be reasoned with.
Good grief if her first Jump self could listen to her. Trying to redeem Esdeath.
But that was but one facet of what Yang was hoping to accomplish. Fortunately she had an idea.
In a small cave near Yaga Moscow, near Ivan the Terrible who no doubt needed to be pacified as well, they managed to build a base after some days of searching. The tools in the Gates of Babylon she wielded made it easy to defend and surprisingly liveable. But even more importantly the vast assortment of mankinds treasures was good building material.
She traded ideas with Taiyang, leading to... this.
Her tinkering with something that looked like a shoebox.
"Please remind me again what exactly it is you are making there." Corax asked next to her. The mysterious masked person was always looking at her it felt like. What were they a self proclaimed bodyguard?
"I got the idea from a guy called Rick Sanchez." Yang explained, not ceizing her tinkering for even a moment. "Typical supergenius. he made a universe to power his car."
"That seems... over the top."
"And somehow still inefficient and immoral. I had to strongarm him into taking advantage of the stars he made instead of gaslighting a planet into stepping on machines 24/7 to produce electricity. Rick and Morty is a weird Jump. But hey got out of it making an alcoholic asshole a little less nihilistic and shattering a multiversal prison so eh... good with the bad."
"...You are surprisingly intelligent." Corax spoke in an attempt to continue the conversation, unsure how else to reply it seems. "Well you know, I guess I always had a thing for building stuff. Ember Celica, Bumblebee. When I started to go into a place that had Mechs and became friends with an army of androids... I guess I slowly slipped into a tech/magitec build."
"I can see it has its uses, if a pocket universe can be made from it."
"Its kinda all the same at one point. Magic, technology, just a matter of what you preffer calling it at certain levels." Yang said, adjusting some more calculations.
"And how exactly do you hope a pocket universe can help us?"
"Basically by being a vacuum cleaner." Yang explained a bit too offhanded. "Once we fell the Tree the timeline needs something to maintain it. Rhongomyniad had the capacity of supporting singularities that lack even a Holy Grail. I just reverse engineered the phenomen and made it an inherent feature of this Box. Once the timeline dissapears, the Box will suck it up and locate it inside of a barren Planet, premade and waiting to have something planted on it."
"That is... a lot of effort." Corax commented to which Yang could only laugh. "I hope it gets easier with time. I still have to make six more for the other Lostbelts."
The masked individual hummed in what Yang guessed was contemplation. "What? I can HEAR you thinking."
"Do you think this really is the best solution?" Corax asked. "It takes so long and this timeline was deemed unsustainable."
"I mean what else do you think we should do."
"When we shared our most recent purchases, you said you combined Laevatein with the rings of burned history."
"Yes?" Yang already didnt like where this was going.
"Its a useful combination, especially with your potent fire abilities. And with the Rings turning everything it destroys into energy to use... and Laevatein having enough power to destroy a whole Lostbelt-"
"Corax." the blonde said with a warning tone. "You better not be implying what I THINK your implying."
"...We dont know what else is waiting for us. And you may actually be the weakest of us in a straight up fight. And the chainbreakers have it out for you specifically. Yang you need every bit of power you can get especially with Adam-"
"NO!" Yang snapped, eyes red in warning. "I am NOT going to kill this entire timeline."
Corax was quiet but through the Mask Yang thought she saw sympathy of all things. "...Its a mercy kill. Yang the Yaga of this World, all life in this world, is suffering. Patxi said it himself. They dont know joy. They know nothing but struggle. Their only good quality is strenght-"
"Which is EXACTLY why I will not stop at preserving the timeline. As soon as the world is save I will get rid of this blizzard and work my way through there." Yang insisted.
"..Why?"
"Because that is..." "What Ruby would do" "what a Jumper is SUPPOSED to be. The thing these chainbreakers cant wrap their head around. We have the opportunity to be the embodiment of playground rules, leave a place better than you found it in ways indescribable. Because of a World is in pain it doesnt mean you should destroy it. I mean what do you expect me to blow up my Remnant instead of trying to save it?"
"Of course not." Corax insisted. "But I fear that you are trying to do too much. I mean even your insistence on trying to reform the Jumpers? You are spreading yourself thin."
"If we just kill them we, again, prove the people who put us here right."
"Yang this is ESDEATH. Unanimously the worst person alive in her original world. Didnt you kill her once already?"
Yang halted, putting down the box as she closed her eyes. Corax continued speaking. "Some people are beyond saving."
"Who decides that?" the Huntress questioned. "What?" came Corax dumbfounded reply.
"WHO decides when someone is beyond redemption?"
"Look around what she has done to this world."
Yang was quiet for a moment, looking right into Corax mask, almost piercing it with her purple irises. "She is not the only one who made mistakes."
Corax could be heard sighing. "Yang you can not possibly compare your own shortcomings to Esdeaths active malice."
"Than how about we compare power."
the masked Jumper raised an eyebrow. "Power?"
"How would you power? I define it as your ability to affect the world around you, in contrast to strenght where you yourself can change how to be affected by the world. Power can come in many forms. Soft like reputation and social influence. Hard like punching a mountain to rubbles. But beyond all that... power gives you opportunites. A powerful person is not someone who kills or terrifies others. A truly powerful person they can change the world through... mercy."
Corax, taken aback by her reasoning, hesitated to speak further at first. "But if mercy is not an option?"
"It is ALWAYS an option. Just one you need to try a bit harder for."
"I dont know if Esdeath will agree."
"I will still TRY." Yang said and seemingly trying to make it the final note of this conversation went back to working on the Box.
"...Maybe you should... you know..." Quil asked in the back of Ravens mind. The masked Jumper sighed.
"Does she remind you of Raven?"
Yang dropped her wrench at the question, perplexed looking at Corax. Unknown to her just what Corax... RAVEN... had asked. "What?"
"From what I know from the RWBY Universe Raven is a social darwinist as well isnt she? bandit tribe leader? She... abandoned you."
Yangs mouth moved but no words came out, before she blinked... finally ending in a dry laugh. "Congrats you know one of the few facts the entire Multiverse seems to know about my world. Thats like a absolute point practically."
Yang didnt notice how Corax seemed to flinch. "Is this about Raven? Are you... hoping that if you redeem Esdeath it somehow... will bring her back? Or to help you work on your emotions with someone who only values strenght?"
The huntress looked bluntly at Corax before sighing. "Okay since this is what you want to talk about lets talk. Let me explain to you what Raven Branwen is to me."
Corax waite din anticipation, the few seconds in between words feeliing like an eternity. Maybe... maybe if... if what? What did Raven WANT Yang to say? That she missed her? that she hated her? Yang was always very passionate, wearing her emotions on her sleeve. Any response could-.
"Absolutely nothing."
"...What?"
"What?"
Yangs face was resembling one that tried to best desrcibe the specific shade of white a room had. So... utterly unaffected.
"Raven Branwen is someone I used to dedicate my entire life to finding. I stayed awake at night wondering what I could have done wrong."
"You didnt do anything wrong I did!"
"I desperately wanted to see her again... to the point I nearly got the person I love the most in EVERY universe killed. If Qrow had not found us... I could have gotten me and my sister killed that night. And you know what the worst of it all is? Just... how stupid I actually was? Why should I even waste any miniscule neuron in my brain to Raven? A woman who left people who loved her behind to join some bandit tribe and cause untold misery."
Yang rolled her eyes, grabbing a nearby can of hot cocoa to warm herself up.
"If you have people in your life who love you, who care for you, who want to be with you... its so stupid to want to be with someone who isnt any of these things. And honestly I HAVE those. I have them in abundance actually!" Yang said with a small laugh, as if she couldnt believe her luck. "I mean Aziza basically became my second mom. Than there is Tai... dad... well... you know. My companions. The various other Jumpers who became mentors to me or parental figures. After spending my early childhood dying of thirst I am practically drowning now." she smiled, takinga sip of the warm liquid.
"I dont need Raven. I never needed her in my life. And honestly? I have better things to worry about. Much bigger things. I am not projecting anything onto Esdeath. For Raven I just feel... nothing."
Yang looked sympathically at Corax, unaware that she was talking to her own mother. "So... sorry if you were hoping for some deep emotional conversation but that is the wrong topic for me."
Raven said nothing, grateful for the mask of anonimity. "...I see. Im... sorry."
"Dont be." Yang shrugged. "Look I get what you are trying to do. And frankly I think I know what your deal is, even if I dont know who is behind that mask." she spoke, giving a playful tap to the mask. "You did something wrong in the past. Probably see whatever you did reflected in me and dad. And if you want to talk about your issues how your probably trying to make amends by all means do... but you dont need to take any issues I have as a front for it because really... I have a lot of issues but I had enough therpaists by now. And Raven is one issue I REALLY dont have anymore."
Handing Corax the thermos can, Yang prepeared to go back to the Box and work.
"...I think i bring this to Tai. Also see if he wants to switch guard duty."
"Go ahead." Yang smiled at her, before zoning in on her work.
Not seeing the tears forming behind Ravens mask as she walked away.

Across the camp Taiyang sighed, he hadn't been able to resist listening in on the conversation especially not when he knew who was behind that mask... he knew where Yang was coming from and knew there was no malice intended?
How could there be when she didn't even know she was addressing the topic of conversation? But what he did know for sure was that in a single stroke any progress Raven had made in convincing herself to tell Yang her true identity had been wiped clean.
He gave her a sad, slightly forced smile as she brought him the thermos- "Thank you Corax"
Tai pats the ground next to him "Sit with me for a minute, I could use the company"
With Yang in the Camp and undoubtedly hearing everything they said Tai couldn't offer his full sympathies- his assurances that he didn't feel the same way his daughter did... and he certainly couldn't share the comfort having her with him had brought throughout everything that had happened.
But he could be there for Yang and Raven both and that was everything he had ever wanted even back home.
"Of course...." And... in that small way, as the masked Raven simply sat down and silently grieved over what she lost... he did manage to do that.

I do realise that this is a very long shot, but I'm looking for someone to finish off the weekend with, on a nice dinner, followed by a long walk on the beach. I already have the place picked out and there's no age bar (as long as you're over 18).
A little bit about me, I’m your usual 27 year old small town guy who just lacks a little romance in my otherwise perfect life right now. I'm kinda athletic and love playing lawn tennis, skipping rope, swimming and pushups. I can enjoy my own company pretty well, and absolutely love going on solo trips. I can appreciate tf out of a well made fudge brownie, and don’t even talk about rasmalai because that’s bound to get my mouth watering. With 14:11 left in the match, the title changed hands from Ricochet to Samuray Del Sol, after successfully hitting a hurricanrana into a pin!
With 10:22 left in the match, the title changed hands from Samuray Del Sol, back to Ricochet after a diving corkscrew moonsault
Immediately after, Jay Lethal catches Ricochet right into a Lethal Injection, making it Lethal’s first pinfall at 10:07 left in the match!

You guys are lucky I got paid a lot to be here tonight, or else I would’ve done a show for WBW in Pittsburgh. Now, that piece of shit Rick Grayson expects me to wrestle tonight, but to be quite honest I would rather kiss his dead mother, then fight in this ring with you stupid fucking fans.”

“But Diego, not only that. That date officially kicks off the western states tour, going to hit through the western states, we are so excited to expand this outside of Las Vegas!”

As the screen begins to fade to black, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Cody Rhodes give a bow to the crowd, as Rick Grayson comes in and congratulates Cody! What a first show for Glory Wrestling Revolution, and they are just getting started!

While opposites attract each other, they say, like captivates like, and the sprawling messy lives of Ayonna and Jamahl are like a streaming overflowing creek bed with water bouncing off, regrouping, changing course and flowing over the stony landscapes of their lives filled with haphazard children, arrests and family members who've seen and heard so much by now they can now only mutely stand by and nod to each other. Is it genetic? Ayonna's brother, Jaleel, did 4 years himself, and as he drives her to meet her-mother-in-law to be she hopes, Christine, and her daughters, one day before her sentencing, there is already a knotty history with how they first met. "They're about to put the steak on the grill," laughs Ayonna nervously to Jamahl on the phone, but he erases any nerves by mentioning that he really wants to wait 2 years before getting married. News to Ayonna who doesn't have much time to answer as they approach the park and, Christine, a poor man's Whoopie Goldberg, smiles revealing checkerboard teeth that have shamelessly adopted the stand-your-ground defense. Christine and her daughters know their Jamahl who suffers from a major case of the Herschel Squirts having fathered 6 children with 4 different mothers with whom he presumably co-parents. His first marriage, like Ayonna's arrest, wasn't his fault; it was Islam's fault that not only made him get married - for only 6 months, but forbid him to date, and this is all too piddlingly insignificant to mention even though he's "an open book." "You have nothing to worry about; don't be tripping," he soothes placatingly - like The Killer who promises his Victim he will let her go and when he aims, she cries, "You lied! You promised me mercy." "And you shall have it," he responds as he shoots her in the head quickly ending it - for him that is mercy.
Rick is that kind of guy who attends his high school reunions. All of them. But this 40th, this time, he will be sober and act responsibly and even remember it. Still, Samantha is concerned that Rick isn't a human walking billboard advertising their engagement so these lonely single women and di​vor​cées who always show up drinking too much and talking too loud looking for a second and third chance for love won't bedazzle him away from her. She likes marriage so much she's tried it a couple of times and she'd be happy to try it again even before she's released. He, on the other hand, doesn't want to upstage the event with any announcement, but she wants to plant her flag like Cook or Peary discovering the North Pole. Well, Rick is no professional hitman like John Cusack in "Grosse Point Blank, but he is grappling with a mid-life crisis, slightly torn between his present and past as Sandy, a forward-looking blonde, and Carol, "C.D.," a younger version of "90 Day Fiancé's" Claire, Sophie's hyperbolic mother, who fondly remembers a past hookup in the Westwood parking lot, swarm over him like bees to honey. C.D. has loved Rick since 7th grade and has completely missed the irony that his recent sobriety has tempered his phone calls to her. Of course, Sammy, who "don't trust them bitches" calls Rick while her high school buddy, Sandy, is standing nearby, and who has enough aplomb to not bat an eyelash and offer her congratulations as she then flits like a butterfly to disperse the news to the other attendees. Rick who loves Sammy, a multiple DUI and possible resisting/obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct offender, and his confidence builder, is contemplating his set pension and the fluid amount of cash required to move out-of-state to meet Sammy's non-negotiable demand to be with her children where he will default serve as a live-in stepfather and grandfather. And that's only the beginning.
It's 3 weeks until True's release and Shonta receives all her filtered photos (looking at you Mo'nique) back from prison. The explanation the prison spokesperson gives her is that explicit photos/nudity or contraband will be rejected as well as when the prisoner is in solitary confinement. She unsurprisingly takes her daughter, Monae, into her confidence and Monae is unsurprised at her mother's desperate attempts to find love and to give her all without getting anything back. True acts clueless as to why the pictures were rejected and blames the eponymously named Two Braids - whose "females bad and they dimes" relaying his photos to True for just checking them out. Shonta believes him as much as Drake loves Lamar and Trump will stop being openly contemptuous of court, and as much as we believe that even though True prefers white females, he's physically attracted to Shonta. He says this crouched over a table, thumb moving ploddingly towards his mouth as a reassuring pacifier, eyeballs straining to heaven as he cannot say this lie full fronal and arms crossed defensively. And still she'll give him another chance.
Candice is rightfully behind bars for burglary because she is stealing Andrew's money as this poor schlub is driving to Vegas to furnish a decent apartment with the help of her friend and mothementor figure, Denise, who looks a little "Misery's" Annie Wilkes, with a seemingly innocent smile hiding a terrifying switch between fanatical devotion and violent aggression. She could out her friend, but she stays mum as Andrew enumerates his expenses: $1360 rent per month, 36 hours driving and a minimum of $1600 gas, 15K spent on eight 2-hour contact visits, unspecified amounts for furniture, whether bought or rented, and the incalculable countless hours of lonely nights which will propel him to propose immediately. It's there or a well-care center that might go unoccupied and gather dust and rental monies until the prison decides on a parole address. MC Hammer is sort of a case in point. At the peak of his success he earned a reported $33 million in 1991, but over-the-top spending on luxury cars, a record company, airplanes and a $30 million home that he built from the ground up, which eventually sold for less than $7 million, ate into his fortune, so he filed for bankruptcy continuing to owe the IRS thousands in back taxes for the next 20 years. Andrew isn't exactly a one-hit wonder nor has he earned any serious bank, but he is about to lose it all because as soon as Candice is released, she will grab what she can and then announce, “U Can’t Touch This.”
