La maggior parte delle persone porta questa affermazione solo ed esclusivamente in un dibattito con(tro) i vegani, per dimostrare che l’empatia e la coerenza di chi fa una scelta etica che esclude la sofferenza animale ha un limite e che anzi, non dovrebbero mangiare neanche le piante visto che anche loro soffrono. Questo però dimostra la cattiva fede di chi fa questa domanda: non necessariamente crede davvero né si dispiace se le piante provano dolore o sofferenza. E’ esclusivamente un’argomento fantoccio usato per mettere in difficoltà i vegani, ma che in realtà rivela tutta l’ipocrisia di chi finge di non vedere la differenza tra tagliare una zucchina e sgozzare un vitello. Essere vegani vuol dire cercare di escludere, per quanto possibile e praticabile, ogni forma di sfruttamento e crudeltà nei confronti degli animali per il cibo, l'abbigliamento o qualsiasi altro scopo. Alla base di questa definizione c'è il riconoscimento del fatto che gli animali sono esseri senzienti, con una coscienza e con la capacità di provare emozioni complesse e provare dolore non solo fisico ma anche psicologico, tutte queste caratteristiche gli danno la possibilità di fare esperienza di sé come soggettività. Quindi per capire se le piante dovrebbero godere della stessa "attenzione etica" è importante chiederci se le piante hanno davvero una coscienza, prima ancora di capire se "soffrono". Tali affermazioni sono fuorvianti e possono potenzialmente indirizzare in modo errato i finanziamenti e le decisioni politiche dei governi. Dopo aver definito la coscienza primaria di base, forniamo nuovi argomenti contro 12 affermazioni fondamentali fatte dai sostenitori della coscienza delle piante. Tre nuove importanti conclusioni del nostro studio sono: (1) non è stato dimostrato che le piante eseguano i comportamenti proattivi e anticipatori associati alla coscienza, ma solo che percepiscano e seguano le tracce degli stimoli in modo reattivo; (2) la segnalazione elettrofisiologica nelle piante serve a funzioni fisiologiche immediate piuttosto che all'elaborazione di informazioni integrative come nei sistemi nervosi degli animali, il che non fornisce alcuna indicazione della coscienza delle piante;(3) la controversa affermazione dell'apprendimento classico pavloviano nelle piante, anche se corretta, è irrilevante perché questo tipo di apprendimento non richiede la coscienza. Infine, presentiamo la nostra ipotesi, basata su due presupposti logici, su quali organismi possiedono la coscienza. La prima ipotesi è che la coscienza affettiva (emotiva) sia caratterizzata da una capacità avanzata di apprendimento operante su ricompense e punizioni. La seconda ipotesi è che l'esperienza cosciente basata sulle immagini sia caratterizzata da rappresentazioni dell'ambiente esterno mappate in modo dimostrabile all'interno del corpo. I fautori della coscienza vegetale sostengono anche i concetti di "neurobiologia vegetale" e "intelligenza vegetale" (Brenner et al. 2006). Le piante non hanno neuroni, ma i sostenitori della neurobiologia vegetale affermano che hanno strutture analoghe. In molti casi, questi sostenitori trattano l'intelligenza e la coscienza delle piante senza alcuna distinzione, utilizzando gli stessi argomenti per entrambi gli attributi (Trewavas e Baluska 2011; Leopold 2014; Trewavas 2016; Reber e Baluška 2020; Trewavas et al. 2020). Presentiamo poi un'ipotesi alternativa su quali organismi abbiano la coscienza, un'ipotesi che si adatta alla visione scientifica diffusa secondo cui la coscienza è una proprietà emergente derivante da reti complesse di neuroni (Feinberg e Mallatt 2020). Secondo questa definizione, il "comportamento orientato all'obiettivo" si applica non solo alla coscienza, ma anche ai processi fisiologici non coscienti. Tutti gli organismi viventi eseguono i comportamenti fisiologici adattivi di ricezione, elaborazione e risposta agli stimoli - e abbiamo sostenuto in precedenza che non tutta la vita è cosciente. Pertanto, il fatto che le piante abbiano questi comportamenti non le rende coscienti (Ginsburg e Jablonka 2021; Hamilton e McBrayer 2020). 3. Classical learning in the sense of behavioral adaptation to associations between two cues is fully explainable by changes of synaptic connectivity. This can occur without any complex perceptual or motor integration; e.g., at the simple level of reflex pathways like the gill-withdrawal reflex of the sea hare, Aplysia californica (Kandel and Schwartz 1982; Kandel 2009). The clearest demonstration that classical learning is not conscious is that the isolated spinal cord of a human or rat can learn classically (note: we adopt the dominant view that the spinal cord is not conscious: Koch 2018). The relevant experiment is shown in Fig. Fig.66 (Joynes and Grau 1996). Here, a rat’s spinal cord learns to associate a mild shock to the leg with an antinociceptive shock to the tail so the tail becomes less responsive to nociceptive heating. The interpretation is that, through classical learning, the leg shock has taken on a new, antinociceptive role. 9. [...] A prima vista, sembra ingiusto criticare una speculazione così estrema, perché gli autori hanno dichiarato esplicitamente che l'obiettivo del loro articolo era "indicare le domande senza risposta" sul tema della senzienza. Tuttavia, non si tratta di domande irrisolte, ma di idee che essi ritengono vere e che promuovono continuamente nelle loro pubblicazioni senza prove (Baluška et al. 2009; Calvo 2017; Calvo e Trewavas 2020; Trewavas et al. 2020). Molteplici salti speculativi senza prove concrete non solo sono destinati a introdurre errori fatali nella catena di argomentazione, ma rendono anche l'impresa eccessivamente complessa.[continua] 11. Le piante mostrano una coscienza affettiva (emotiva). Gagliano (2017) ha sostenuto la coscienza affettiva nelle piante, affermando che il loro apprendimento associativo classico indica "sistemi di valore interni basati sui sentimenti". Gần đây tao có theo dõi vụ em lớp 8 bị 3 con chó đực ức hiếp thì tao có một chút hồi tưởng.
Trước đây nhiều năm có cả một thời gian tao cứ thắc mắc mãi là tại sao tao đã phải chịu đựng một nền giáo dục như ngày đó (những năm 2010) mà lại nhắm mắt cho qua đối với những kẻ bắt nạt hay là ức hiếp những người yếu thế. Bây giờ thì mọi thứ lan truyền rất nhanh và đã quá rõ ràng nên các nạn nhân có nhiều chỗ dựa tinh thần và công lý cho mình hơn, nhưng vẫn còn là tùy trường hợp.
Tao từng bị trấn lột tiền mỗi ngày ít thì 1 nghìn, nhiều thì 5 nghìn, ngày nào cũng "cống nạp" cho con nhỏ cao hơn mình 2 cái đầu đó thì cả năm học phải mua được cái album Blackpink thời bây giờ.
Cái mô-típ lúc ấy là mày phải "trở thành" loại học sinh đó hoặc làm giống như bọn nó nếu không muốn bị bỏ lại hay là bị cô lập, con nít mà. Thằng mà bị chà đạp dưới sàn lớp trên kia bây giờ đã là một đứa ngoan đạo, hiền lành, đi lễ nhà thờ hay thấy nhưng không bắt chuyện. Thằng nhà nghèo vừa hiền lành vừa học giỏi thì bây giờ không học hành, ăn chơi trác táng, nổi loạn, lông bông lúc này lúc kia. Những thằng mà hồi xưa hùa cùng đám bắt nạt đa số là rơi vào danh mục ăn chơi trác táng này.
Tao có phần may mắn hơn các bạn đồng học lúc ấy là bị thực tế vả vào mặt sớm quá nên thế giới quan thay đổi, dẫn đến cả bản tính cũng thay đổi nên mới biến thành nốt nhạc trầm như hiện tại chứ không phải lúc nào cũng giống vậy. Có một người bạn cùng sở thích mà vài năm trước hay nhắn tin cùng, khi tao trình bày quá trình thì bạn nói câu làm tao ngẫm nghĩ thì vãi luyện, đại loại "mày đã được trao nhiều cơ hội và may mắn hơn người khác, và mày cũng biết hối hận thì cứ nhìn về phía trước mà đi thôi." Ông anh ôm mắt dừng lại luôn, lần đầu tiên tao phải nghi vấn cho hành động của mình cũng là lúc đó: tham gia cùng tụi này nó đếch đúng tí nào, đánh nhau cũng chả đúng tí nào.
Sau lần đó gọi là có một chút cải tà quy chính, chỉ động chân động tay những lúc cần thiết, chính xác là lớp 5. Lại có một lần họp lớp nghe thằng nào đó nói em mình bị đứa khác cốc đầu lén, thế là tức mình quá ra về rủ thằng em thụi vào bụng nó mấy phát rồi bỏ trốn. Tự nhiên có thằng nào đó ngồi xe đạp phóng ra từ ngõ dí theo chạy bở hơi tai. Và những lần lớp 7, lớp 8, lớp 9 nổi loạn, cái tôi cao ngất trời đấm nhau tóe khói, thằng nào hèn thì chịu thua trước. Những thằng từng va hiển nhiên là đéo bao giờ nhìn mặt nhau thêm một lần nào nữa.
Bắt nạt không phải là thành tựu cá nhân hay giải Nobel, Oscar, Guiness, nó là cách mà mày bị loại trừ ngay khỏi tập thể của những người bình thường. Mày là một con quái vật chứ còn gì nữa? Mày mong chờ gì từ những con mắt khác dõi theo các hành động đó? Người ta đang run rẩy sợ sệt hay là bị ảnh hưởng mạnh mẽ bởi những hành động ấy? Viết ra không phải là để cho hay mà là để chứng minh cho sự thay đổi của mình.
Tụi mày sẽ không để ý là có những kẻ bắt nạt vẫn đang làm kẻ bắt nạt, chỉ có hình thức, cách thực hiện là thay đổi; không bằng thể xác thì bằng tinh thần. Đa số là không ai nhận thức rõ ràng được là mình đang bắt nạt và những người thường không trong cuộc nhận thức được thì lại không làm gì gọi là quá ảnh hưởng đến kết quả. Họ là người giúp cho những kết quả đó được là chính nghĩa, công lý hoặc ngược lại là lừa phỉnh, che mắt thiên hạ, bạo lực bằng các hình thức giả tạo, cố tình không quan tâm cũng là một trong những hình thức ấy. Vậy nên đến cuối cùng thì dù là sai hay đúng thì thà được ủng hộ vẫn còn hơn không.
Nói chuyện nước Nhật phát triển thì nó xa xôi quá, nhưng hãy xem qua một vài số liệu:

Trước tiên, số học sinh trả lời bản thân là nạn nhân của bạo lực học đường chiếm 1,9%, tăng 0,2% so với lần khảo sát đợt một của năm 2022, mức cao nhất trong vòng 10 năm kể từ năm 2013 (2,2%). Tính theo số học sinh thì có tổng cộng 59.000 em từng bị bạo lực ở trường, trong đó học sinh tiểu học là 41.000 em, học sinh trung học cơ sở là 14.000 em, trung học phổ thông là 3.700 em.
Xét theo loại hình, bạo lực bằng lời nói chiếm 37,1%, bạo hành thân thể 17,3%, bị cô lập trong tập thể là 15,1%, bạo lực qua mạng 6,9%."

Hồi tháng 3, một vụ bạo lực học đường gây chết người xảy ra ở thành phố Hàm Đan, miền bắc Trung Quốc khiến dư luận sôi sục. Các nhà chức trách bắt giữ 3 thiếu niên (tất cả đều dưới 14 tuổi) sau cái cái chết của người bạn cùng lớp họ Vương. Theo luật pháp Trung Quốc, những người trên 12 tuổi nhưng dưới 14 tuổi chỉ có thể bị truy tố hình sự khi được Viện Kiểm sát Nhân dân Tối cao cho phép.
Nạn nhân và các bạn cùng lớp đều là "những đứa trẻ bị bỏ rơi", cụm từ chỉ những đứa trẻ sống với ông bà ở nông thôn trong khi cha mẹ đi làm ở thành phố. Cậu bé Vương mất tích chiều 10/3, chính quyền địa phương cho rằng cậu có thể đã chết cùng ngày hôm đó.
Trước khi qua đời, Vương đã chuyển 191 nhân dân tệ (17 USD) cho một trong ba bạn cùng lớp. Luật sư của gia đình cho biết cậu bé "đã bị ba người bạn cùng lớp của mình bắt nạt trong một thời gian dài". Đây là không phải đem chuyện nước người ra để bao che cho cái xấu của nước mình, đấy là ngụy biện whataboutism. Nước bạn ăn cứt không có nghĩa là nước mình cũng phải ăn cứt, you know. Ai cũng biết chắc là những số liệu trên còn chưa phản ánh được hết toàn bộ những vụ bạo lực chưa từng có số liệu hoặc được lên tiếng, đưa ra ánh sáng, vân vân,...và với một nước nhỏ hơn như Việt Nam thì vẫn có khả năng cứu được.
Còn nhớ là cộng đồng mạng nó chửi 3 ba bố con thằng bắt nạt kia đến mức nào, hay chuyện ông anh ở Long Thành lên đồn không trở lại, quân nhân Trần Đức Đô, quân nhân tử vong sau 10 ngày nhập ngũ ở Yên Bái, quân nhân Bắc Giang,...Nói mồm thì thường rất dễ, nhưng sau đó họ lại quên béng đi là cái xã hội, nền giáo dục và báo đài đất nước này nó thối nát và bao che cho cái xấu như thế nào. Thậm chí tụi lều báo còn sửa đổi chi tiết theo chỉ thị của các chú các bác là các em nó tự tử hay gặp tai nạn khi đang làm nhiệm vụ nữa cơ, mẹ nó nực cười, thế sao không nói rõ cho người nhà biết mà để họ kêu oan vậy
Đứng trên góc nhìn của những người đưa tin thì có thể hiểu được chuyện giấu nhẹm những bản tin bạo lực đi để đẩy các bản tin về kinh tế thị trường, người nổi tiếng đi cầu không trôi này kia để không bị quá tiêu cực hoặc khiến người dân lo lắng; trên góc nhìn của một người lãnh đạo thì lại càng muốn bưng bít hơn nữa. Nhưng mà tụi mày có thấy không, chính những cái muốn che giấu nhất đó lại không thể giấu được vì người nhà của nạn nhân đã dám lên tiếng để đòi quyền lợi cho mình, dù chỉ là tiền chi phí để tổ chức tang lễ, viện phí hay bất cứ khoản nào, phải có bồi thường thỏa đáng (đôi khi không).
Việc lên tiếng với một hệ thống bao che thì gần như là đang chống lại cả hệ thống vậy. Những người nhà nạn nhân họ biết rõ điều đó và phải rất dũng cảm để đưa ra quyết định, hầu hết trường hợp là ngậm tiền, ký giấy bãi nại, nhận tiền cho qua chuyện để không kéo dài, đôi khi người nhà hung thủ cũng muốn vậy vì còn công việc cuộc sống cum out gow teen. Có vài người lại nói vì họ có chống to và quan hệ nên mới dám lên tiếng, c'mon, vụ của thằng em 2k4 Đàm Văn Thịnh Bắc Giang thậm chí là có nhiều người còn chưa biết đến thì chống với chả cốp cái con mẹ gì, người nhà của em chỉ biết móc điện thoại ra livestream là hết bài rồi (cũng khá nhiều người xem, trong đó có tao). Tao sẽ để link clip dưới phần bình luận. Bà chị của Thịnh đã nói trong video rằng: "Đây là thời bình chứ không phải là thời chiến. Thời chiến thì là bảo hy sinh cho đất nước, còn đây là thời bình em trai tôi khi đi rất khỏe mạnh lành lặn đây. Còn khi em tôi trở về thì là một cái xác không hồn." Nghe mà đau lòng thay.

"Bộ Giáo dục Hàn Quốc ngày 14/12 đã công bố kết quả khảo sát tình hình bạo lực học đường đợt một năm 2023, được tiến hành theo hình thức trực tuyến trong vòng 4 tuần từ ngày 10/4, tại 16 tỉnh thành với đối tượng là 3,84 triệu học sinh từ lớp 4 đến lớp 12. Tỷ lệ tham gia khảo sát lần này là 82,6%.
Trước tiên, số học sinh trả lời bản thân là nạn nhân của bạo lực học đường chiếm 1,9%, tăng 0,2% so với lần khảo sát đợt một của năm 2022, mức cao nhất trong vòng 10 năm kể từ năm 2013 (2,2%). Tính theo số học sinh thì có tổng cộng 59.000 em từng bị bạo lực ở trường, trong đó học sinh tiểu học là 41.000 em, học sinh trung học cơ sở là 14.000 em, trung học phổ thông là 3.700 em.
Xét theo loại hình, bạo lực bằng lời nói chiếm 37,1%, bạo hành thân thể 17,3%, bị cô lập trong tập thể là 15,1%, bạo lực qua mạng 6,9%."

Hồi tháng 3, một vụ bạo lực học đường gây chết người xảy ra ở thành phố Hàm Đan, miền bắc Trung Quốc khiến dư luận sôi sục. Các nhà chức trách bắt giữ 3 thiếu niên (tất cả đều dưới 14 tuổi) sau cái cái chết của người bạn cùng lớp họ Vương. Theo luật pháp Trung Quốc, những người trên 12 tuổi nhưng dưới 14 tuổi chỉ có thể bị truy tố hình sự khi được Viện Kiểm sát Nhân dân Tối cao cho phép.
Nạn nhân và các bạn cùng lớp đều là "những đứa trẻ bị bỏ rơi", cụm từ chỉ những đứa trẻ sống với ông bà ở nông thôn trong khi cha mẹ đi làm ở thành phố. Cậu bé Vương mất tích chiều 10/3, chính quyền địa phương cho rằng cậu có thể đã chết cùng ngày hôm đó.
Trước khi qua đời, Vương đã chuyển 191 nhân dân tệ (17 USD) cho một trong ba bạn cùng lớp. Luật sư của gia đình cho biết cậu bé "đã bị ba người bạn cùng lớp của mình bắt nạt trong một thời gian dài". Ban đầu, 3 nam sinh phủ nhận, tuy nhiên sau cuộc thẩm vấn, những học sinh này đã dẫn cảnh sát đến chỗ thi thể nạn nhân."

Đây là không phải đem chuyện nước người ra để bao che cho cái xấu của nước mình, đấy là ngụy biện whataboutism. Nước bạn ăn cứt không có nghĩa là nước mình cũng phải ăn cứt, you know. Thậm chí tụi lều báo còn sửa đổi chi tiết theo chỉ thị của các chú các bác là các em nó tự tử hay gặp tai nạn khi đang làm nhiệm vụ nữa cơ, mẹ nó nực cười, thế sao không nói rõ cho người nhà biết mà để họ kêu oan vậy
Đứng trên góc nhìn của những người đưa tin thì có thể hiểu được chuyện giấu nhẹm những bản tin bạo lực đi để đẩy các bản tin về kinh tế thị trường, người nổi tiếng đi cầu không trôi này kia để không bị quá tiêu cực hoặc khiến người dân lo lắng; trên góc nhìn của một người lãnh đạo thì lại càng muốn bưng bít hơn nữa. Nhưng mà tụi mày có thấy không, chính những cái muốn che giấu nhất đó lại không thể giấu được vì người nhà của nạn nhân đã dám lên tiếng để đòi quyền lợi cho mình, dù chỉ là tiền chi phí để tổ chức tang lễ, viện phí hay bất cứ khoản nào, phải có bồi thường thỏa đáng (đôi khi không).
Việc lên tiếng với một hệ thống bao che thì gần như là đang chống lại cả hệ thống vậy. Những người nhà nạn nhân họ biết rõ điều đó và phải rất dũng cảm để đưa ra quyết định, hầu hết trường hợp là ngậm tiền, ký giấy bãi nại, nhận tiền cho qua chuyện để không kéo dài, đôi khi người nhà hung thủ cũng muốn vậy vì còn công việc cuộc sống cum out gow teen. Có vài người lại nói vì họ có chống to và quan hệ nên mới dám lên tiếng, c'mon, vụ của thằng em 2k4 Đàm Văn Thịnh Bắc Giang thậm chí là có nhiều người còn chưa biết đến thì chống với chả cốp cái con mẹ gì, người nhà của em chỉ biết móc điện thoại ra livestream là hết bài rồi (cũng khá nhiều người xem, trong đó có tao). Tao sẽ để link clip dưới phần bình luận. Bà chị của Thịnh đã nói trong video rằng: "Đây là thời bình chứ không phải là thời chiến. Thời chiến thì là bảo hy sinh cho đất nước, còn đây là thời bình em trai tôi khi đi rất khỏe mạnh lành lặn đây. Còn khi em tôi trở về thì là một cái xác không hồn." Nghe mà đau lòng thay.

Bài viết này có thể hơi dài nhưng thay vì nói những lời lẽ không hay thì mình sẽ đưa ra những ý sau.
Vâng tại sao nhiều kẻ bất mãn như vậy vì từ lâu đã nhìn thấy được cái bộ mặt thật của chính quyền này:
- Nền kinh tế nhiều lúc gặp nhiều khó khăn nhưng đảng một là không nói đến, hai là cố tình nói đẹp lên. Giống như thời điểm sau đại dịch nền kinh tế còn gặp nhiều khó khăn đặc biệt là ngành thép do bị hit từ vụ bds Trung Quốc. Khi Trung Quốc gặp khó khăn thì xuất khẩu của VN sẽ giảm. Nhu cầu cũng sẽ giảm vì phải thắt chặt chi tiêu. Có thấy báo đài nói không?
- Không phải tự nhiên mà nhiều người bất mãn như vậy. Ví dụ rất nhiều vụ gần đây như vụ Đồng Tâm, Anh ninh mạng 2018, Chuyến bay giải cứu, Việt Á, Yết Kiêu, Vạn Thịnh Phát, chủ tịnh huyện Nhơn Trạch bị lừa 170 tỷ ... Mình lấy ví dụ như vụ Đồng Tâm. Chính quyền tuyên truyền gì? Xã Đồng Tâm kết hợp với những 'thế lực thù địch nước ngoài' để phản động, bạo luạn vũ trang? Nếu nghĩ kĩ sẽ thấy nhiều điểm nghi vấn như: Tại sao người dân đang sống yên ổn lại tự nhiên bất mãn với chính quyền như vậy? Chỉ nghe vào một số lời dụ dỗ hay tuyên truyền sáo rỗng của bọn phản động thì có đủ để người dân bán đi tính mạng của mình, công việc ổn định của mình, tương lai của con em để làm việc đó hay không? Bạn đặt trong bối cảnh của họ xem. Mà tự nhiên cùng lúc đó lại có một sân bay quốc phòng Miếu Môn xuất hiện tại đó. Chỉ có thể là người dân bị chính phủ cướp đất làm của công. Trong quy định hiến pháp của chính phủ cs Việt Nam cũng quy định không ai được sở hữu đất đai mà chỉ được sử dụng. Do vậy người dân bất mãn, gửi lên chính quyền, người dân quyết tự vệ để bảo vệ mảnh đất mà tổ tiên họ để lại. Do vậy mới cho quân chấn áp người xã ĐỒng Tâm như vậy. Rồi sử dụng truyền thông vẽ ra câu chuyện người ĐỒng Tâm bạo loạn, dưới thế lực thù địch nước ngoài, trong khi đó toàn là tiếng nói của cán bộ, của đảng mà chẳng thấy tiếng nói của người dân xã ĐỒng Tâm đâu. Chỉ có báo nước ngoài như BBC mới cho ta nghe tiếng nói từ người dân Xã này nhé.
+ Điểm bất hợp lý là cụ Kình được Đảng khắc họa là đảng Viên Tham nhũng. Nhưng tham những sao có căn nhà ọp ẹp như vậy? (link phía dưới) Và một người như vậy tại sao lại có tiếng nói để đoàn kết người dân Đồng Tâm lại. Nếu ai còn nhớ vụ 'đòi bồi thường 5 tỷ' (link phía dưới) sẽ thấy dù có công với đất nước, với Đảng như thế nào. Tiền để tham nhũng, chi xây sân gold hay đồn công an thì được giải ngân liên tục trong khi đền bù cho dân thì kì kèo từng đồng một. Mà người ta có phải đòi bồi thường 5 tỷ đâu mà người ta nói rất bình tĩnh rõ ràng là đền bù không thỏa đáng mà lại thích gán ghép. Cho dù có công với đảng, làm cho đảng về hưu lại còn đối xử như vậy? Liệu đảng có quá vô tình?
- Lại còn vụ An ninh mạng 2018 nữa. Biểu tình vì không cho Trung Quốc thuê mảnh đất 99 năm thì trên báo đài lại bảo dân gây náo loạn? Rồi ra tay đàn áp, nhiều người yêu nước phải
chạy sang Thái,...
- Còn chưa nói đến việc phải sang xuất khẩu lao động rồi xuất khẩu luôn tệ nạn sang đó. Xuất khẩu lao động được thúc đẩy để thu về ngoại tệ. Không như những nước khác xuất khẩu sản phẩm có hàm lượng chất xám cao thì ta xuất khẩu người, nông sản, tài nguyên.
Ví dụ thứ nhất: Như ở những quốc gia mà có người Việt sang xuất khẩu ở các nước như Nhật Bản hay Hàn Quốc, châu Âu phạm tội rất nhiều. Vì họ xuất khẩu trong nghèo khó, mà nghèo thì con người ta rất dễ phạm tội vì đó là con đường dễ dàng hơn rất nhiều so với chân chính. Mà được thừa hưởng cái mindset của cộng sản đó là 'cộng sản tốt, tư bản xấu' 'biết đủ, an phận là tốt, tham lam là xấu' do vậy họ thay vì có một tư duy của người giàu tìm mọi cách để làm ra tiền thì lại có tư duy nghèo, tìm mọi cách để có được tiền và hưởng thụ. Chưa kể đến không tôn trọng văn hóa nước bạn mà cứ sống gì làm đây hậu quả là có nhiều vụ án thương tâm nơi xứ người như người Nhật giết người Việt vì làm ồn,...
Ví dụ thứ hai: Mình không bảo vệ hay đứng về cá nhân nào và mình sẽ lấy vụ như vụ Quynh JP để thể hiện cho cái lòng tự tôn (ái) dân tộc này. Đầu tiên là không thèm xét lí lẽ mà tập trung vào cảm tính, cảm xúc. Chị ấy không nói công khi bằng giọng thay vào đó trả lời trên mxh rằng "Ở Nhật không như ở Việt Nam người ta bỏ vào cho nặng ký" không có các từ cảm thán hay có ý xúc phạm hay gì mà chỉ nói lên sự thật một cách rất trung lập. Vậy mà nhiều người suy bụng ta ra bụng người, nghĩ rằng người khác nói xấu rồi đăng bài đó trên mạng. Nếu bỏ ra chút thời gian research thì sẽ thấy rất nhiều người mổ mực ra đôi lúc sẽ thấy cá. Điều đó hoàn toàn bình thường nhưng đằng này không chịu search google mà lại thấy người khác bóc phốt như vậy tin luôn rồi hiệu ứng đám đông bầy đàn. Vô hình chung nếu không lên án những cái này thì lại đang bảo vệ các gian thương làm điều đó rồi coi đó là bình thường mà, ở đâu cũng vậy hết đó. Sống ở một nơi có bao giờ tiếp xúc với bên ngoài đâu, có bao giờ chịu lập luận hay tìm hiểu đâu.
Ví dụ thứ ba: là video một anh Tây bị cảnh sát Việt Nam chặn lại. Có một số người chỉ cần đụng đến hai từ Việt Nam thôi là mất hết lý trí như kiểu đụng đến mình rồi nhảy dựng lên, văng tục chửi thề, gây war mà không xét toàn diện, bối cảnh. Họ chỉ xem một đoạn ngắn rồi vào bình luận rằng anh này có ý xúc phạm luôn mà không thèm xem video toàn cảnh. Nếu như những người nước ngoài mà xem được những video đó thì họ sẽ nghĩ gì? Còn dám đến Việt Nam nữa không? Tự nhiên vì một người với lòng tự ái dân tộc cao mà ảnh hưởng đến biết bao con người đối xử thân thiện với người nước ngoài.
- Đồng tiền yếu: ta đã biết đồng tiền mọi quốc gia trên thế giới đều được gắn chặt với đồng USD. Mà một nền kinh tế chỉ xuất khẩu 3 thứ là lao động tay nghề thấp, nông hải sản và tài nguyên thì có thể thu về bao nhiêu USD so với những quốc gia xuất khẩu sản phẩm chất xám khác? Bạn không thấy lạ khi giá vàng trong nước luôn chênh lệch rất nhiều so với giá vàng thế giới à?
Mình biết là nhiều người nhất là những người đang còn được cha mẹ chu cấp, trải qua môi trường giáo dục tẩy não mà thiếu đi tư duy phản biện từ thời nhỏ nên thường có tâm lý thiên vị Đảng, khó chịu khi ai công kích, chỉ ra những cái không hay của Đảng. Nhưng đôi khi để tư duy phản biện thì cần phải mở lòng chấp nhận mọi cái mới, mọi ý kiến quan điểm. Không nên quy chụp như vậy. Nhưng hiện thực thì hoàn toàn khác xa và dường như đất nước không được phát triển tối đa tiềm năng của nó dưới sự dẫn dắt của Đảng, giống như ý 2 mình đã nói rồi FDI rất nhiều, khoa học công nghệ đổ vào rất nhiều, không như Cuba, nhưng Đảng không tận dụng tối đa được những tiềm lực của đất nước. Và còn rất nhiều hệ lụy và những bất cập đến từ Đảng mà toàn sử dụng tuyên truyền để bảo vệ quyền lực của mình. Tiếp tục bóc lột giá trị thặng dư của người dân.

Nhu cầu cũng sẽ giảm vì phải thắt chặt chi tiêu. Có thấy báo đài nói không?

- Nền kinh tế thì kém phát triển và lạc hậu nhiều so với các quốc gia Đông Nam Á khác như Thái Lan, Singapore, Philipine, Malaysia,... với tiền lực 100 triệu dân + dân số vàng, vị trí địa lý thuận lợi cho việc giao thương, chiến lược, nguồn tiền FDI đổ vào mạnh,... thế mà cứ nhìn vào phân bố ngành và các đại gia Việt Nam sẽ thấy. Phần lớn liên quan đến nguyên vật liệu xây dựng và bất động sản. Còn lại toàn ngân hàng. Tầm nhìn ở đại hội đảng XI chỉ ra rõ Việt Nam sẽ là đất nước công nghiệp hóa, hiện đại hóa và thu nhập trung bình tầm nhìn đến năm 2020. Vậy mà bây giờ công nghiệp hóa chỉ đạt 13%. Các công ty chip muốn đặt sản xuất tại Việt Nam nhưng vì thiếu những người được đào tạo về lĩnh vực này để xem các công ty đó land ở đâu nhé. Rồi còn vụ Intel rời bỏ Việt Nam vì thiếu điện và quan liêu (link phía đưới),... Đấy 2000 thì hứa sẽ thành nước phát triển, 2011 thì giảm mục tiêu xuống một chút, đến khi 2036 hết dân số vàng rồi thì thế nào? Lúc các quốc gia khác phát triển thì ta đã bỏ lỡ mất 10 năm để thực hiện hợp tác xã, các quốc gia khác ăn cơm thì ta lại đang ăn hạt bo bo. Rồi để che đi cái thiếu sót của mình thì Đảng chỉ biết tập chung vào những khu ổ chuột, những mặt tối của quốc gia khác dù chiếm một phần nhỏ mà không chỉ ra những thứ tốt đẹp để học hỏi như Nhật Bản, Hàn Quốc trước kia chẳng hạn. Philipine có khu ổ chuột nhưng đó chỉ là một phần nhỏ của thành phố phồn hoa. Sài Gòn cũng có khu ổ chuột sao không làm? (Link phía dưới)
- Còn chưa nói đến việc phải sang xuất khẩu lao động rồi xuất khẩu luôn tệ nạn sang đó. Xuất khẩu lao động được thúc đẩy để thu về ngoại tệ. Không như những nước khác xuất khẩu sản phẩm có hàm lượng chất xám cao thì ta xuất khẩu người, nông sản, tài nguyên.
- Tham nhũng tràn lan. Mà một khi bị lộ ra thì đã quá trễ rồi như trong vụ Vạn Thịnh Phát hay tự dưng chủ tịch Huyện mà có tận 170 tỷ để bị lừa. Hay Tô Lâm ăn lương hệ số 4 mà ăn được bò vàng trong khi đó nhiều người dân đang còn gặp nhiều đói khổ. Đó đốt lò đó mà để sót ông Tô Lâm, chủ tịch huyện Nhơn Trạch và Võ Văn Thưởng. Vì mấy ông đấy là quân cờ chính trị của ông TBT mà nên có dám đốt đâu. Thanh trừng chính trị thì có. Mà trước khi hạ bệ thì có hỏi qua Trung Quốc nhé (link phía dưới). Quá cây tre. Lại bảo yên bình? Chưa nói đến việc ra đường thì bị csgt, công an hách dịch, vòi tiền, bắt lỗi nhé. Mà khi có chuyện gì báo công an họ lại không muốn giải quyết mấy vụ dân sự nhỏ. Chỉ biết đánh bóng hình ảnh của mình trên Mạng xã hội mà có biết quan tâm đến dân đâu? Vụ nào to mà có lợi ích thì mới làm. Mà chẳng hiểu sao lương thấp mà mình thấy nhiều ông cảnh sát ở đồn đeo đồng hộ hiệu, cầm hai chiếc điện thoại 1 Iphone 14, 1 điện thoại samsung đời mới, hút thuốc là điện tử phì phèo. Quá giàu quá sang.
- Giáo dục kém phát triển. Phải để những năm trở lại đây mới cải thiện giáo dục do tư tưởng quá bảo thủ. Những quốc gia như Hàn Quốc tập trung phát triển giáo dục trước rồi bắt đầu đón nhận, nhập khẩu công nghệ từ nước ngoài để phát triển đất nước. Đây thì Đảng lại tập trung phát triển đất nước, cơ sở hạ tầng trước giáo dục. Các cơ sở giáo dục rất lạc hậu và còn nhiều hệ lụy. Công an có ngân sách cao hơn giáo dục rất nhiều, nhiều trường quá tải và xuống cấp nhưng mãi về sau thì một số trường mới được đầu tư. Còn lại vẫn vậy. Không chỉ thế như vấn nạn gian lận còn chưa nói đến. Hậu quả là để lại một đất nước có những nhân công đông nhưng tay nghề thấp, chỉ có thể lắp ráp căn bản chứ những thứ lắp ráp tinh vi như chip thì làm sao có thể lắp hay vận hành được? Có thì cũng chỉ rất ít. Bảo sao mà Tổng Thống Mĩ Joe Biden đề cập rằng Việt Nam đang thiếu kĩ sư chip trầm trọng.
- Yếu tố xã hội, con người do nhiều thế hệ trải qua một nền giáo dục lạc hậu, môi trường nghèo. Lừa đảo mọc lên tràn lan, lừa thì nhanh giàu còn làm ăn chân chính thì khó tích lũy. Do nền kinh tế tập trung vào Bds nên giá nhà luôn bị hét lên hét xuống, phân lô bán nền, lừa đảo dự án đầu cơ chục lợi, hối lộ khiến cho người dân khó sở hữu nhà. Mà khi người dân tiết kiệm để sở hữu nhà thì sẽ bớt chi tiêu khiến nền kinh tế bị ảnh hưởng. Mà nền kinh tế chỉ toàn tập trung vào BDS thì thu về ngoại tệ kiểu gì? Nguồn thu ngoại tệ chỉ có thể đến từ việc xuất khẩu những nông sản giá rẻ như mình đã nói ở trên.
Ví dụ thứ nhất: Như ở những quốc gia mà có người Việt sang xuất khẩu ở các nước như Nhật Bản hay Hàn Quốc, châu Âu phạm tội rất nhiều. Vì họ xuất khẩu trong nghèo khó, mà nghèo thì con người ta rất dễ phạm tội vì đó là con đường dễ dàng hơn rất nhiều so với chân chính. Mà được thừa hưởng cái mindset của cộng sản đó là 'cộng sản tốt, tư bản xấu' 'biết đủ, an phận là tốt, tham lam là xấu' do vậy họ thay vì có một tư duy của người giàu tìm mọi cách để làm ra tiền thì lại có tư duy nghèo, tìm mọi cách để có được tiền và hưởng thụ. Chưa kể đến không tôn trọng văn hóa nước bạn mà cứ sống gì làm đây hậu quả là có nhiều vụ án thương tâm nơi xứ người như người Nhật giết người Việt vì làm ồn,...
Ví dụ thứ hai: Mình không bảo vệ hay đứng về cá nhân nào và mình sẽ lấy vụ như vụ Quynh JP để thể hiện cho cái lòng tự tôn (ái) dân tộc này. Đầu tiên là không thèm xét lí lẽ mà tập trung vào cảm tính, cảm xúc. Chị ấy không nói công khi bằng giọng thay vào đó trả lời trên mxh rằng "Ở Nhật không như ở Việt Nam người ta bỏ vào cho nặng ký" không có các từ cảm thán hay có ý xúc phạm hay gì mà chỉ nói lên sự thật một cách rất trung lập. Vậy mà nhiều người suy bụng ta ra bụng người, nghĩ rằng người khác nói xấu rồi đăng bài đó trên mạng. Nếu bỏ ra chút thời gian research thì sẽ thấy rất nhiều người mổ mực ra đôi lúc sẽ thấy cá. Điều đó hoàn toàn bình thường nhưng đằng này không chịu search google mà lại thấy người khác bóc phốt như vậy tin luôn rồi hiệu ứng đám đông bầy đàn. Vô hình chung nếu không lên án những cái này thì lại đang bảo vệ các gian thương làm điều đó rồi coi đó là bình thường mà, ở đâu cũng vậy hết đó. Sống ở một nơi có bao giờ tiếp xúc với bên ngoài đâu, có bao giờ chịu lập luận hay tìm hiểu đâu.
Ví dụ thứ ba: là video một anh Tây bị cảnh sát Việt Nam chặn lại. Có một số người chỉ cần đụng đến hai từ Việt Nam thôi là mất hết lý trí như kiểu đụng đến mình rồi nhảy dựng lên, văng tục chửi thề, gây war mà không xét toàn diện, bối cảnh. Họ chỉ xem một đoạn ngắn rồi vào bình luận rằng anh này có ý xúc phạm luôn mà không thèm xem video toàn cảnh. Nếu như những người nước ngoài mà xem được những video đó thì họ sẽ nghĩ gì? Còn dám đến Việt Nam nữa không? Tự nhiên vì một người với lòng tự ái dân tộc cao mà ảnh hưởng đến biết bao con người đối xử thân thiện với người nước ngoài.
- Hộ chiếu yếu và đồng tiền yếu:
- Đồng tiền yếu: ta đã biết đồng tiền mọi quốc gia trên thế giới đều được gắn chặt với đồng USD. Mà một nền kinh tế chỉ xuất khẩu 3 thứ là lao động tay nghề thấp, nông hải sản và tài nguyên thì có thể thu về bao nhiêu USD so với những quốc gia xuất khẩu sản phẩm chất xám khác? Bạn không thấy lạ khi giá vàng trong nước luôn chênh lệch rất nhiều so với giá vàng thế giới à?
Mình biết là nhiều người nhất là những người đang còn được cha mẹ chu cấp, trải qua môi trường giáo dục tẩy não mà thiếu đi tư duy phản biện từ thời nhỏ nên thường có tâm lý thiên vị Đảng, khó chịu khi ai công kích, chỉ ra những cái không hay của Đảng. Nhưng đôi khi để tư duy phản biện thì cần phải mở lòng chấp nhận mọi cái mới, mọi ý kiến quan điểm. Không nên quy chụp như vậy. Nhưng hiện thực thì hoàn toàn khác xa và dường như đất nước không được phát triển tối đa tiềm năng của nó dưới sự dẫn dắt của Đảng, giống như ý 2 mình đã nói rồi FDI rất nhiều, khoa học công nghệ đổ vào rất nhiều, không như Cuba, nhưng Đảng không tận dụng tối đa được những tiềm lực của đất nước. Và còn rất nhiều hệ lụy và những bất cập đến từ Đảng mà toàn sử dụng tuyên truyền để bảo vệ quyền lực của mình. Tiếp tục bóc lột giá trị thặng dư của người dân.

1. Tom Finster - Untiefe EP [Pilot Records]
Recommended if you like: The Caracal Project, Vorso, BuunshinTommy! Monsieur Finster! It's been a while.
You might remember my rather lengthy dissertation about my love for Thomas' 2022 debut album Year Of I - and if you don't, just follow that blurple link! Because, while I deeply love talking about him, I'm not gonna recap all of Herr Küchler's backstory on here again, we'd be here all day. Since not everyone follows him as closely as I do (don't look behind you Tom), we could probably do with a little recap of the events since then though, so let's blast through it!
First of all: he completed the Year Of His by moving to Leipzig, becoming a dad and, equally as importantly, releasing on VISION with the boi Rohaan. Not only did he get the full remix treatment, with the likes of Vorso, ABIS and his Donkongolian partner in crime barking continues twisting and turning his wonderful album into something completely new and Erotic Cafe' and ET Fingers taking a crack at his NËUbut Phantom Power, he himself also started up the remix engine, delivering stunning reworks of new studio neighbours Neonlight's Tragedian and SBTRKT's Saya Interlude. Speaking of mixing: he also played absolutely crazy good shows at Let It Roll (with appropriate amounts of rain), Darkshire and NOX, plus club shows in Vienna, Toulouse, Leipzig and many more. Last, but most definitely not least, he's still running the weekly WeAreHumans feedback (and occasionally war-waging) streams with the continuous barking man himself, influencing and helping sharpen the sound of countless of artists, many of which ended up on here lately. With recent spotlights on Lukher, NOVALU, KEELA and Not Fair, I mention them like every other week at this point, and this probably isn't gonna stop either.
As you can guess from the fact I'm talking about him again, Thomas also had some new original Tom Finster music cooking all this time. Relatively shortly after his album dropped, UKF's Pilot Records slid into his DMs to discuss the possibility of a collaboration - of course, Tom said yes! He knew he had to bring his absolute A-game for this special release though. Not only did he spend a lot of time in the musical kitchen (Küchler is suspiciously close to the German word for kitchen), he also recruited the incredible funilab to come up with some feasts for the eyes to go along with it all, resulting in nothing other than one of the most amazing combination of both visual and auditory flavours you'll have ever experienced: the Untiefe EP.
First course: The Hole. Not just any, the hole! While we kick things off with a rather grandiose, orchestral oomph, the arrangement quickly dissolves into all sorts of fluttery little sounds, until only the constant chime of a street crossing remains, as if to give Tom the go-ahead to lay his soul bare once again. Musings about the crippling nature of the titular hole in his chest quickly morph into a declaration of war against this stupid thing holding him back, his rage amplified by enormous war drums and the anarchistic Sinner voice filter returning in style. While the fast, shuffly drums and the massive waves of bass already do a great job to provide us with the energy needed to win against such a formidable foe, it's the second half's straight-up cathartic explosion of bass screaming all the accumulated pain out that really seals the deal. Tom has won, the hole is closing, it's almost over. But right at the end of this emotional, most marvellously beautiful of outros, Tom's anxiety creeps back in to ask one more question: Do you even want to heal your anxiety, your inner pain and trauma as an artist? Doesn't it just cause you to lose your edge, your artistic voice if you're just fully content with everything? (It doesn't, by the way)
Alright, enough interpretative overthinking, let's move on. Whereas the EP opener was still rather rebellious overall, Wish You Were Dead is more haunting in its vibe. In the misty rain we take a walk through the mysterious, rather creepy woods, brought to life by Tom's immaculate string arrangements, to get some fresh air. However, the voices inside our head are still just as omni-present as before. The voices of the people we lost along the way, the ones most important to us, whose essence still fiercely occupy our minds all these years later, to the point we just want to get rid of them through any means possible. An inherently human tragedy, once again effortlessly conveyed with an absolutely gorgeous arrangement of heartfelt vocals, orchestral wonderfulness and call-and-responses between floaty newschool melodicality and in-your-face heaviness.
Next up, something every single Tom Finster song has bucket loads of: Soul. This third exploration of Tom's emotional state sees him taking a look at the complex feelings that come along with an upbringing in the deepest corners of East Germany. As you can see on almost every single statistic, even more than 30 years after the unification of Germany, there's still a clear difference between the two sides. Sure, rent in the East is cheap, but the ripple effects of 45 years of division, the crushing ways that East Germany's companies were exploited post-unification and the depressing rise in popularity of right-wing mentality, especially in the police force, are just too soul-crushing to deny. Soul, the tune, is basically about Tom's eventual realisation that he doesn't want to spend even another minute "in this hell hole" anymore, instead trading it for the big city life in Leipzig. I especially love the last two outro lines calling into question this whole plan, it elevates the whole theme so much in my eyes. To not bum us out too much, Tom packages this depressing topic in a (relatively) cheerful little bop of a tune, with a delightful vocal sample, melancholic yet uplifting synths, a clap-along buildup and just one ear candy moment after the other.
Lastly, we've got Tom's mission statement for this whole project: No Compromise. As a creative of today, you feel all sorts of pressures, but the most restrictive one has got to be the pressure to actually make money with the art you spend so much time and energy on, simply to not become homeless. The anxiety of not knowing if enough people will connect with your creations to put food on the table is the thematic inception for the creative journey we embark on for this finale. Breaky, uniquely rhythmic drums, with a lovely snare that the VISION Radio crew aptly described as "cute", and satisfying bass movements, smoothly progressing until it reaches a simply wonderful climax - but wait, what is that in the distance? It's Tom with a sick rap breakdown outro! I cannot think of a better way to showcase your unwillingness to bend to the scene's wills than this.
Deeply personal, emotional storytelling, delivered via simply fantastic vocal performances and expansive, beautiful, sleak and heavy production - This is art. In a sea of never-ending bangers with twenty fake drops and wait samples, something this polished, this boundary-pushing and this conceptually whole deserves all the love it can get. So go listen to it already!

2. Noise Parfumerie - Another Requiem EP 💎 [Kosenprod]
Recommended if you like: XAETIS, Current Value, ScreamartsNow that we've made it out of the scary Eastern German forest, let's get a change of scenery. How about Japan! Straight out of the bustling metropolis that is Tokyo, Genki Takahshi, also known as fashion model slash Neurofunk destruction machine, and also this week's Hidden Gem Of The Week™️, Noise Parfumerie, aims to not just be the next unremarkable in line to be forgotten about, but wants to bring an uniquely creative ethos of multi-genre chaos and destruction to the genre that's already aggressive to begin with: Neurofunk!
Of course, the full story goes back a few more years though. Back in 2018, Genki started sharing his very first few tunes, already dripping with his signature style, on compilations like Touhou Remix EDM3 and New Invoke Vol. 2. Or should I say signal-ture style? Why, you ask? Because he started his production journey out as Signal! You can probably already tell why Genki is running things under a different name nowadays, but back then, he was still mostly exploring stuff like Bass House, glitchy Electro, Dubstep and Halftime, so the crossover wasn't really there. The whole of electronic music probably has like 10 Signals, one more wouldn't really hurt. However, once Genki started exploring the heavily techy sides of drum and bass more and more, the name became a bit of a burden. IMANU might have already shedded his Signal alias at that point, but it was still kind of weird for him, even if he admitted that he did like the music coming from his Japanese counterpart.
After much consideration and brainstorming, a new name was found and finally unveiled in early 2022: Noise Parfumerie! Not only did his whole visual identity change to focus more on his fashion, his whole sound became so much more refined in its destructiveness that the visual identity tag line of "Unforgettable Sound" (Like A Perfume) became almost a threat. In a good way! Very soon after debuting the new branding, the madness would be broadcasted on all sorts of amazing labels on both the DnB front, from Sinful Maze to In The Lab, and the usually more multi-genre platforms like Electric Wave and hypernight, even resulting in the one and only VISION Radio giving him regular shout-outs. There was one imprint that always seemed to have pushed him to unleash only his most crazy output: french madhouse Kosen! After two already frankly ridiculous EPs on there, the Noise is now getting delightfully smelly again, on Another Requiem!
Right away, we're getting biblical, with EP opener Azazel. You might think this is a lovely little place to roam around in, but the bombs going off in the distance already frighten you a little, and before you know it, an appegiated piano jumps in, instantly making you feel like you've triggered a boss fight. Back-and-forths between a singular dramatic chord and hundreds of little quick-firing, brain-scritching stabby stabs evolve further and further, but it takes until the second half for the whole power to be unleashed. Wild, half-time rhythms with like 5 snares at once hitting you, heavy kicks on the search of their own rhythm, all of which jumping around in auditory space - what a massacre! Speaking of, next we've got Call You Out. Once again being lured in with an cinematic sounding atmosphere and a rather lovely vocal, we are then met with huge swaths of distorted everythings washing over us, introducing us to various different sounds we never heard before, full of ridiculous glitches and what not. What a ride!
A ride that isn't slowing down anytime soon, as we're now due to meet the Killer Queen. The name kind of gives it away that this visit won't be as cordial as you might expect from royalty, but you probably didn't expect it to become this messed up either. Some of the sounds on this I don't even have the vocabulary to describe, I just know it's getting crazier and crazier by the second. The snares are getting clonkier, the rhythms are getting wilder, but then also 4x4, but also Halftime, but then also back to syncopated wildness. Deranged. But, like, in a good way! Lastly, we're ending this lunatic craziness with One And Only Me. Appropriately, it is just as weird and indescribable, but I'll still try anyway. A rather industrial buildup gives way to an infectious, but deeply weird, hammering rhythm with the strangest sound design on everything, which once again evolves to become clonkier, heavier, pots-and-pans-ier, until suddenly, the ultra mega laserbeam is engaged and destroys every and anything in its path.
Uncompromising, rebellious, banging - No one does it quite like Noise Parfumerie.

Like many across the globe, I'm processing the death of someone who meant the world to me, despite never meeting him. I thought it would be nice to compile a list of tributes by famous individuals and parties, to try to fully capture what he meant to the world and see how he's left an impression on so many people. I will try to update this as I find more posts and stories.
Also, although this is about Toriyama, I do want to bring attention to the passing of another legend: Japanese voice actress TARAKO, who was well known for voicing the character Maruko. - Takehiko Inoue (Creator of Slam Dunk, one of the best sports and basketball manga ever, and Toriyama's contemporary. With Yu Yu Hakusho and Dragon Ball, these 3 manga were responsible for "The Golden Age" of Shonen Jump, when the magazine's sales were in its highest circulation. - Masanori Morita (Creator of Rokudenashi Blues and Rookies, and another contemporary of Toriyama's in the 90s. Like Inoue, I'm sure he'll miss his peer)
- Here is Taison Maeda doing the Kamehameha! He says he can't remember what it was for, but it ends up being the title page for Rokudenashi Blues ch.343 in 1995 Weekly Jump No.28, 3 weeks after the end of DB’s run
- Eiichiro Oda (Creator of One Piece, one of the best manga ever, the highest selling manga ever, and the highest selling COMIC ever by volume. Oda considers Toriyama his mentor, so you can feel Oda's admiration in his comment here)
- Masashi Kishimoto (Creator of Naruto. His hits home too :(, and like Oda, he reveres Toriyama)
- Tite Kubo (Creator of Bleach. He also idolizes Toriyama. Toriyama famously sent him a letter of encouragement, which eventually allowed Bleach to be published and become the popular series that it is today)
- Hideaki Sorachi (Creator of Gintama, one of my 5 fav manga/anime in general. This series is known for its humor, and parodies of other series are very prevalent. DB especially is parodied (I'd bet its referenced the most probably), and Sorachi has drawn many tributes too. Toriyama himself has drawn Goku with Gintoki (the main character and my personal 2nd fav anime/manga character ever). This is probably the most heartfelt post here, because of Sorachi's last sentence)
- Naoki Urasawa (One of the greatest mangaka to ever live, and someone who I hoped would get to converse with Toriyama just casually somewhere; he runs a manga interview show called Manben as well. He references King Piccolo in his hit 20th Century Boys. Toriyama also loved 20th Century Boys, saying he "found it better than most movies". The 2 were also nominated together to the 2019 Eisner Hall of Fame).
- Yusuke Murata (Mangaka for the new version of One-Punch Man; there are more tweets about Toriyama on his timeline, but I will just link the first post here. Arguably the best artist to ever draw a manga if you ask me. He has always revered and spoken highly of Toriyama, much like Oda, Kubo, Kishimoto, Mashima and the rest of the current mangaka who grew up on DB)

Instant connections established, bonding over favorite characters and intense moments and art and music. The last line of the song my husband wrote to propose was "If I had the Dragon Balls I'd wish you would marry me.". Being any part of those worlds would have been more than twelve-year-old Fee could have dreamed. But to have had the absolute honor to play a character whose purpose is to care for, keep, protect and take joy in the stories and characters of the Dragon Ball universe is a gift I treasure. I'm so incredibly thankful.

Daman Mills Part 2: honestly don't think my life would be the same without Dragon Ball. In childhood, the universe and its characters enchanted me. It gave me a place to escape. It taught me to play. It taught me to be strong even when faced with adversity. As I got older, the English dub helped fuel my inspiration to pursue voice acting. Years later, the very same cast that inspired me has welcomed me with such incredible warmth. It feels like a family. To this day, so many friendships and bonds have continued to be forged through our shared love for the series Akira Toriyama created. I am forever grateful to him for both gifting us this world, and to have been lucky enough to be a small part of it.

Dragon Ball changed my life as an adult. But Toriyama-sensei nestled deep into my heart long before then. It feels almost surreal to lose such a titan of our culture.
