TL;DR: As good a risk/reward assymetric bet as you will find in the stock market today. Buy $RSKD
If a bunch of regards getting regarted over a stock for a defunct movie theater has taught us one thing, it's that stocks don't trade on fundamentals. There are only a few things in the lifecycle of a stock that actually force it to have value: If it goes out of business, pays a dividend, or is acquired.
Oh. And one more. If the company is buying it's own stock. This is the most bullish thing that can ever happen for a stock, for three reasons:

1. There's an investment bank coming into the market every single day and placing bids. It sets a hard floor on the stock. No matter what happens, someone's buying a shitload on every day that ends with Y.
   
2. It's reducing the share count. It's the opposite of dilution., Even if valuation stays exactly where it is, the value of a share goes up.
   
3. It's a sign that people who know the most about the company - the board, management - know that shares are worth WAY more than it's trading at right now.
   

In short, buying a stock that's doing a buyback is about as close to risk-free arbitrage as it gets.
That brings me to Riskified ($RSKD). This stock was beat down SO HARD during the tech crash in 2021. It was at $40 on point, and got as low as $3. (They work in the eCommerce space, especially travel and ticketing, and so the covid lockdowns really hurt their numbers.)
They IPOd at a valuation of about $3B and raised a ton of money - they got about $500 million in the bank from that IPO. And now they're using that cash to buy back their own stock because it's so absurdly cheap.
They started a buyback program in November for $75M, when the share price was around $4. At that point the market cap was around $600M... they were about to buy 9% of the outstanding float. Since that program started the stock has risen, and hit $6.20 yesterday. That's a 55% return in a few months. not too shabby.
But you're in luck! Yesterday at their earnings, because their numbers are so incredible (they're not a cash flow positive tech startup...) they announced they're buying ANOTHER $75M of stock!
The stock soared on that news. Today there was a correction - probably some insiders unloading a little - but that gives an incredible buying opportunity.
Their business is a bit complicated - I'm happy to explain it in the comments if anyone cares - but suffice to say it's an eCommerce play. They provide critical infrastructure for huge companies like Macys and Wayfair. The important thing though is that they are profitable, cash flow positive, still sitting on a ton of cash from their IPO, and the people who know, know their stock is way way underpriced.

I'm 27F and grew up working as a model/actor but when I got to my teenage years, I started growing womanly curves and the industry booted me out like I had never existed. It made me feel awful about my body, which led to YEARS of eating disorders, especially anorexia. At my worst I would starve myself for 3/4 days, sometimes would end up in hospital because of it.
Fast forward to my mid 20s and the modelling industry has changed, so I thought my curvy body finally had a chance to be accepted again and started applying to modelling agencies. Within a week I had an offer for a 2 year modelling contract and I was BEYOND thrilled. Modelling has always been my number 1 dream in my life, I spent my childhood flicking through Vogue hoping that one day I'd be one of those girls.
I've been modelling now for three years and this industry is killing me. Every casting or audition opportunity I get, makes me so excited at the possibility of 'maybe this is the job that will put me out there' and I come home feeling hopeful. To only be faced with rejection a few days later.
I've done some really cool modelling work but I'm not as big as I wanted to be, and often feel like I'm not good enough to model. Like I'm not as good as everyone else around me.
This BIG and famous modelling agency in my city wanted to sign me 2 years ago but unfortunately I already had a contract with this smaller agency so I politely declined but said I'd love to be signed with them once my contract expired. For 2 years I held onto the dream that as soon as I signed a contract with that agency, then my dreams would become a proper reality. I thought they'd want me again, but I was wrong. I have just applied to work for them and within a day received a very dry email saying 'unfortunately we wouldn't be looking to offer representation right now' and I'm in tears.
This industry is killing me, it started in my teenage years when I was made to feel like I didn't matter because I wasn't stick thin. And now in my late 20s I've worked SO HARD to make this dream a reality but honestly it feels more like a nightmare than a dream.
Now I'm left with this nagging feeling that I need to quit modelling in order to be happy. Neither of us had seen this incarnation of Huck Finn and it’s pretty much a pedestrian look at the life and times of a kid from a very different walk of life and time… but aren’t we just the same? That seems to be the message of any movie pushing Americana at its core. Nothing wrong with that (per se) but my “propaganda” button goes off at times like these.
“I don’t know why,” I say, “but this movie feels like *The Sandlot - the way it’s put together, the syrupy dialog and the clarity of the picture.” MLZ hmms and ya, see thats as I’m talking. As we come to the end of the second film, I have to ask myself - how would either of these movies landed on me if I was 8 in 1993 (instead of 1979). I’m not sure - both movies share an insipid “the way we were” element, a fake history that I’ve always had a mild allergic reaction too. The kids in ‘79 were all hopped up on the future - NASA, and men walking on the moon, and Star Wars, and Tron… everyone I knew couldn’t hardly wait for what the future would hold… if I could broadcast a message from now to then, I’d simply say, “Live for the moment, the future is pretty shit.”
I asked Mrs. Lady Zedd what she thought and she said, “I think you get way too philosophical about everything.” A long blank stare later, I say about the movies. She said both were “fine”. Elijah Wood was more that cute as Huck, you can see he was already developing as an actor.
As for The Soundlot she gave me that fake smile she gives when something didn’t sit well with her. “The over the top of the movie narration just popped my movie bubble - every - damn - time.” She said it was so awkwardly done, so poorly written, so defectively slapped in there, it’s a brown patch in an otherwise “meh” apple.
I’m left to scratch my head. Things can change over time and my MAP dropped significantly since our last viewing in 2021. I normally look up past write ups to make sure I’m not just restating what’s already been said but I know for a fact that won’t be the case. I’d developed some nostalgia for the movie based on our neighborhood’s regular July 4th block party. The guy down the street played The Sandlot on his garage door every year before the fireworks got started.
Our neighborhood had changed a great deal since the pandemic. People moved on, new (less friendly) people moved in. I hate to say it but politics have transformed things as well. I think many of you will recognize what I’m saying. No more 4th of July (or any other) block parties.

Undertale Yellow is a fan-made prequel to the hit indie game Undertale. While Undertale follows the story of Frisk, the seventh human child to fall into the monster ruled Underground, Undertale Yellow follows the story of their immediate predecessor. Meet Clover, the sixth human. Unlike the humans that fell before, this gun-toting cowboy is unique in the sense that their journey to the Underground was no accident. Clover entered the Underground voluntarily in order to investigate the disappearances of the previous five humans and, if it turned out they perished at some point after their fall, hoped to avenge their deaths. See, while Frisk possessed a red SOUL that embodied Determination, Clover's SOUL is yellow for the trait of Justice. Clover's journey would lead them all throughout the Underground, meeting some monsters that will be familiar to those who have played Undertale and some brand new faces as well.
Like Undertale before it, Undertale Yellow's story can be altered significantly depending on the player's actions. Perhaps Clover befriends the monsters they meet and determines they were unfairly trapped underground, deciding to sacrifice themselves to bring monster kind closer to freedom. Or maybe Clover will blame the monsters for the deaths of the previous human children, avenging them with swift cruelty. Either way, Clover will act in the way they believe they can best embody Justice.

So How Do the Fights Work Anyway?

Like its predecessor, Undertale Yellow tends to treat RPG mechanics as literal aspects of the game's world. Due to the abstract nature of fights in both Undertale and Undertale Yellow, with enemy monsters targeting Clover's SOUL rather than their physical body, it's understandable that there may be some confusion about how Clover actually scales to certain monsters. Luckily, this is a bit more clear in Undertale Yellow than it was in the original game, as the reveal trailer shows that the attacks of monster are things that Clover physically has to react to and dodge (we even see this same attack utilized in game) even though the battle menu only shows their SOUL.
But this is just for when encounters have already begun, what about before that? And what triggers encounters anyway? There's an area in the Wild East where boulders are falling onto the path that Clover needs to dodge. If they fail to avoid them, this begins an encounter too, where Clover is given the opportunity to avoid the "attacks" in the battle menu to negate damage. Other examples include Clover escaping damage from hot steam after touching it and avoiding damage from Axis' energy balls after they hit them. What this means for standard versus fights is a little vague, but it likely means that any attack that would deal meaningful damage starts an encounter and that it would be impossible to simply kill Clover with a sneak attack. Even if it hit them, Clover would still get the opportunity to dodge before the proper fight begins. That said, there is one example of Clover dying without triggering an encounter at the end of the Neutral Route. It's possible this is because it was an unescapable situation but the mechanics of it are still vague and unclear.
As seen with the previous examples such as the falling boulders and steam, it seems that attacks that hit Clover's SOUL and their physical body are more or less interchangeable. Or rather, it isn't possible to circumvent the SOUL to only hit the physical body because even attacks that hit Clover's physical body will trigger an encounter that can then be dodged or endured by the SOUL.
Finally, it's worth noting that the sizes of objects can vary from their appearances in the battle to what they look like in the overworld. We see Clover's SOUL alongside their physical body a few times throughout the game and it's pretty consistently a little larger than their torso. So this thread will describe feats with that scale in mind.

• At the end of certain routes, Clover acquires certain abilities/powerups that don't necessarily apply to the rest of the game. Feats or items that are limited to those routes will be marked with the corresponding route.

I was recently diagnosed with hsv2 on 04/23/24. On 04/10/24, I had my initial OB, which I thought was a fissure, this made pooping extremely difficult, as if there was glass coming out my ass. There was a little blood in the stool during the next bowel movements I had, but this decreased over the week. I also fasted to heal the fissure up.
I have taken my valtrex twice a day for ten days and will continue on one a day, along with L-Lysine, Zinc, Multivitamins and Omega 3. My fissure is healed and the skin around my butthole looks fine. My anal area feels quite tight, where I can’t really open up my anus with my finger.
I am experiencing constipation, where there is a numbness in my rectal area, and I am unable to pass stool involuntarily. This has been the case for two weeks. Everything else is fine, my anal region feels slightly inflamed however, in addition to my sphincter being quite tight. My food digests well, and I am taking prune juice to make it smoother, I’m just not clearing out my stool as quickly and efficiently before this. Before I would go to the bathroom and everything would come out at ease. Right now I place my feet on my toes, and then the poop just falls out, but it doesn’t feel natural like before this whole thing started.
05/16/2024: It's been exactly a month since my first normal bowel movement, but everything is getting better. I still rely on prune juice, and smooth move tea sometimes, but honestly, I think it is a matter of getting your gut back to normal. I met with a proctologist, and he said that everything looked normal, which it did, as the fissure was healed after three weeks. My sphincter is also seeming to get looser, so hopefully this continues. In addition I met with a GI doctor, and provided my stool sample and blood work to see if there are any additional issues alongside this. I will also have a scan on 05/20/2024 to see if any issues can be viewed. I just wanna get back to normal bowel movements, I will never take pooping for granted again 😂. The GI doctor also mentioned that these things should take time, and surprisingly said that everybody has been in contact with hsv2 in some way or another if sexually active. In addition she mentioned that she’s seen people just doing fine with using L-Lysine, Zinc and management of gut health to ensure that the virus is kept at bay, so if anything, it’s our minds making a bigger deal of the situation. Remember that it takes time, and just stay calm, that is honestly the best way to go about this, and try and reestablish your gut health with probiotics, yogurt and general healthy eating.
What is the deal with hsv2 and the nerves down there, and what are the chances that I can restore my normal bowel functions?

Just wanted to vent. I know this field isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, sometimes we have to try it to find out. There are so many of my coworkers who are super enthusiastic with the kids constantly and that’s just not me. TLDR: Bought something new from an individual on FBM. Got the wrong tracking number then they switched the tracking number. Finally two versions of the item showed up (one 95% correct, one from another manufacture). Never once had post sale communication from the seller, and I have screenshots and photos documenting all of this.
First red flag: Killer deal
An individual on FBM was selling a new piece of sporting equipment at basically a 65% discount. That was the first thing that had me nervous but I've gotten amazing deals like that before on reddit, craigslist, etc. ^{My first pair of skis as an adult came from a dude who's wife said he needed to sell a bunch of his. I could have turned around and sold them for twice what I paid for that day.} Decided to use Paypal as my payment method with my CC to try and triple my redundancy from potential shenanigans.
Second Red flag: Zero communication
The first UPS tracking number that was sent to me was to a state I've never even visited, and not with my name on it ^{(confirmed by UPS}). So I messaged the seller and asked for the correct one, no response for multiple days. A few days after that first tracking number was delivered I gave them another message asking for a refund since I never got the package. Two days after that they changed the tracking number to one that was actually going to my shipping address but from a location that was different than the seller's on FB. Again zero response and that hasn't changed.
Third Red Flag: Multiple items and tracking numbers galore
Kept a close eye on that tracking number and it was forecasted to arrive today via UPS. Yesterday I got a UPS package that matched about the size and weight, but from a business. So I took a picture of the box and opened it before checking the tracking number. It was the same category of sporting equipment, but a different model and manufacture. So I checked the tracking number and we now have three tracking numbers involved. So today I got a package from USPS that came from Canada from a retailer I'd never heard of before. In that package was the correct manufacture, model, but wrong sub model of the item I ordered (can still be used for what I need). Guess what though...FOURTH different tracking number (wasn't a UPS sure post situation). And that 2nd UPS tracking number still is "out for delivery" as I write this.
Where I'm at now:
No idea what is up. Wondering if it's something where I'm the middle man for some sort of weird irl "duplication glitch" where I'm going to be asked to send something back. Are they going to ask to send one or both back or open up a FB market claim? Some really weird form of brushing?
Tried to google for something like this to no luck. I'd really like to use what I ordered ^{(or at least the one that is 95% correct}) but want to keep things new in case some sort of shenanigans is going down.

"Don't say goodbye, wish me luck and a swift return."
Sorcha's words echoed in Robert's head as he watched the transports race the local star into the sky. Robert was the last to leave the cargo bay, wanting to remain in her presence for as long as possible. It was childish now that he thought of it, but it had earned him a long, deep kiss and a promise she would come back to him soon.
The port where they had been dropped off was located on a cliff overlooking the sea, and the golden light of dawn was echoed on the incoming waves. Beyond the tarmac, grass and bushes grew unhindered and thin trees towered over the terminal. Robert led the 449th toward the building which was built to resemble something out of a story book. A faux thatch roof hung over white walls resembling rough hewn stone while a clocktower with a black slate roof rose from behind. It was a beautiful example of deceptive architecture to give a weary traveler a sense of tranquility. The main concourse radiated the same fairy tale charm with shops lining the interior between cobblestone walkways and a grassy area with long wooden benches under manicured alder trees.
To the casual observer it was a welcome distraction from the busy day to day worries of modern life, to the former convicts who were used to concrete, reinforced walls and armed guards it was heaven on earth. Robert's troops ignored the benches to lay in the soft grass, a luxury unaffordable to the soldier and the convict alike, drawing looks of curiosity from travelers as well as shop workers and Robert had to fight the urge to join his men in this simple pleasure. Finding a seat on a bench, he sufficed himself by running his left hand through the soft blades where the unit colors had been planted.
"How long have you all been fighting?" A stranger asked.
"Feels like forever." Robert replied feeling a pang of guilt at not telling the whole truth.
"Just passing through?" The stranger inquired.
"Here to stay, at least for a while I hope." Robert said.
The strangers face brightened and his eyes reflected the smile that he wore.
"Fáilte Abhaile Óglaigh," He said before continuing to his gate.
Gallóglaigh was the only word Robert knew in Gaelic, and it became apparent that he would have to learn quickly as other people took notice of the rag-tag unit relaxing in the grass. Gallóglaigh meant young soldier he surmised, so óglaigh probably meant soldier, but 'saighdiúir' as well as 'laoch' was also directed at him and his men. Laoch sounded bad, but the people who said it smiled and shook hands with him. 'Saighdear' sounded like 'saighdiúir' and he had no idea what 'ghaisgich' meant, but every face told them how happy they were to meet them. 'Tha gaol agan ort' and 'Is Breà liom tú' found their way to his troops, mostly from women and a number of them tried to pronounce the words themselves which caused more confusion and a few impromptu lessons on pronouncing the words followed by a kiss on the cheek or forehead.
Robert was seriously considering reigning in his troops when he heard a more familiar language from a weathered older man with an amused smile.
"May I assume you're Colonel Grant of the 449th?"
"Yes sir." Robert replied.
"Perfect, I'm your escort, Brian McMurray," he said, "whenever you're ready please follow me."
Robert was able to contain the enthusiasm of his rowdy batch of heathens before they could caused any trouble, to the further amusement of their escort, and they wove their way through the port with the expert guidance of Brian McMurray who led them to several busses waiting just outside the passenger entrance. Troops were filed onto four of the vehicles and Robert was guided to an open deck with his officers while the lower deck of the front vehicle would carry the remaining troops. Brian sat in the front and swiveled his seat around to address them.
"I do apologizefor not having an air transport to meet you, but the MacSweeney family was able to charter these coaches at the last minute." Brian said as the coaches began to move.
"MacSweeney?" Hobbs said under his breath.
"Shut up Cyrano." Robert ordered.
"It's alright Colonel," Brian said, "Yes Captain, Laird Collin MacSweeney, Governor of Arran. Have you heard about him before?"
Hobbs eyes grew wide and he shook his head to indicate he hadn't. Robert turned a shade of red, Jacob and Derrick had the common sense to hold their tounges. Thomas on the other hand...
"Collin MacSweeney, son of Aaron MacSweeney, current lord of the MacSweeney family. Descending from Suibhne O'Niall, chieftain of Argyll. Aaron MacSweeney, settled Arran with the last Gaelic speaking people from Ireland and Scotland in order to preserve their heritage."
"Thank you,Captain Reed." Robert said, half relieved Hobbs had been bailed out, and half curious how Thomas knew so damn much.
"Rather impressive summary I must say," Brian replied, "anywho, the languages you were having trouble with and the history of this world will be made available to your troops, please do study it to prevent any unfortunate misunderstandings. We should be arriving in Brodick Castle shortly."
"If I may," Robert asked, "What is the history and population of Arran?"
"Certainly," Brian replied, "Arran Colony was started with the last 1000 Irish and Scots Gaelic people on Earth. With a bit of hard work and luck we settled the planet as an agriculture world, primarily ranching but expanding into other crops and fishing as well as natural textiles and some light mining and mineral refinement. Today Arran has a population of just over four million."
4 million, from the look of the small port town which hugged the harbor you wouldn't know it.
"And the port city?" Robert inquired.
"Brodick." Brian explained. "The harbor on this island is almost an exact match of Brodick on Earth, so the island was named Brodick as well as the city we just passed through and the MacSweeney family have called it home ever since."
"Brod..."
Robert shot Hobbs a murderous glance before he could finish and the rest of the trip was conducted in silence.
The chartered coaches pulled onto a gravel driveway in front of an amazing castle, built stone by stone into an exact replica of the one on Earth. Troops were ordered to disembark and form ranks below a massive tower that loomed regally over them. An equally impressive man exited to greet the arrived troops, wearing a fine wool suit and a red and black kilt shot through with yellow covered slightly by a leather sporran with polished silver trim. Robert waited for Hobbs to call it a skirt, and was thankful that he remained silent.
"Fáilte Abhaile." Laird MacSweeney said in a neutral tone.
"Apologies sir," Robert replied nervously, "but the men don't speak much Gaelic yet."
"No worries," Laird MacSweeney said, "but 500 does not a regiment make."
"No sir." Robert replied. "We are what's left from Diani unfortunately."
Laird MacSweeney nodded quietly. "We shall have to remedy that. Carry on."
Robert rendered a salute "On the orders of the Terran Military, The 449th Infantry Regiment has been reassigned to Arran SIR!"
Laird MacSweeney returned the salute and began to speak.
"I know who you are and where you came from. I expect all of you to act like civilized people, not the convicts you were previously. Think carefully how you conduct yourselves here on Arran. Housing accommodations for the command staff will be here at the castle, company commanders and enlisted will be housed temporarily in a hotel in the city. This is your second chance gentlemen, you will not recieve leniency from me or my people."
Laird MacSweeney paused momentarily to let the warning sink in.
"With that being said, you are owed three months of pay, which has already been taken care of, and I believe a week furlough is in order to acclimatize you to Arran. Be responsible and respectful, but please enjoy yourselves. Colonel Grant."
Robert nodded and rendered salute again before turning and shouting "DISMISSED!"
The unit cheered at their freedom, but returned the the coaches in a somewhat orderly fashion. Robert tensed slightly at the thought of what they might do if not under watch, and the hand placed lightly on his shoulder made him flinch inside.
"Calm yourself Colonel," Laird MacSweeney said in a gentle tone, "You have a lot of work ahead of you yo get your unit properly organized, but you've done an excellent job considering."
"Thank you sir." Robert replied. "If I might ask, what does Fáilte Abhaile mean?"
Laird MacSweeney chuckled as Robert turned to face him.
"We shall have to remedy that as well." Laird MacSweeney replied.
"Fáilte Abhaile means Welcome home."

I was recently diagnosed with hsv2 on 04/23/24. On 04/10/24, I had my initial OB, which I thought was a fissure, this made pooping extremely difficult, as if there was glass coming out my ass. There was a little blood in the stool during the next bowel movements I had, but this decreased over the week. I also fasted to heal the fissure up.
I have taken my valtrex twice a day for ten days and will continue on one a day, along with L-Lysine, Zinc, Multivitamins and Omega 3. My fissure is healed and the skin around my butthole looks fine. My anal area feels quite tight, where I can’t really open up my anus with my finger.
I am experiencing constipation, where there is a numbness in my rectal area, and I am unable to pass stool involuntarily. This has been the case for two weeks. Everything else is fine, my anal region feels slightly inflamed however, in addition to my sphincter being quite tight. My food digests well, and I am taking prune juice to make it smoother, I’m just not clearing out my stool as quickly and efficiently before this. Before I would go to the bathroom and everything would come out at ease. Right now I place my feet on my toes, and then the poop just falls out, but it doesn’t feel natural like before this whole thing started.
05/16/2024: It's been exactly a month since my first normal bowel movement, but everything is getting better. I still rely on prune juice, and smooth move tea sometimes, but honestly, I think it is a matter of getting your gut back to normal. I met with a proctologist, and he said that everything looked normal, which it did, as the fissure was healed after three weeks. My sphincter is also seeming to get looser, so hopefully this continues. In addition I met with a GI doctor, and provided my stool sample and blood work to see if there are any additional issues alongside this. I will also have a scan on 05/20/2024 to see if any issues can be viewed. I just wanna get back to normal bowel movements, I will never take pooping for granted again 😂. The GI doctor also mentioned that these things should take time, and surprisingly said that everybody has been in contact with hsv2 in some way or another if sexually active. In addition she mentioned that she’s seen people just doing fine with using L-Lysine, Zinc and management of gut health to ensure that the virus is kept at bay, so if anything, it’s our minds making a bigger deal of the situation. Remember that it takes time, and just stay calm, that is honestly the best way to go about this, and try and reestablish your gut health with probiotics, yogurt and general healthy eating.
What is the deal with hsv2 and the nerves down there, and what are the chances that I can restore my normal bowel functions?
For others that suffer with this or those that may have insight, what was your timeline in getting back to normal with this, and how are things now?
For anybody that had this issue, did anybody have recurrent outbreaks , and what were they like (did constipation return)?

A diary study of excessive daydreaming

• Does your daydreaming interfere with your daily life?
• Are you aged between 18 to 45?
• Do you have a good command of written and spoken English?

A research team at the University of Hertfordshire is conducting a study on excessive daydreaming and stress. Many people daydream and some more than others. Some people may daydream for large periods of time and may feel this interferes with their daily life. If this sounds like you, would you be willing to complete an online diary about your daily daydreaming and stress experiences for three days? Your participation would involve the following:
• A preliminary survey to establish your eligibility (between 7-10 minutes)

• A zoom meeting with the researcher to discuss how to complete the diary entries, and answer any questions you may have (approximately 20 minutes).
• Recording an online diary of your daydreaming episodes and stress for 3 working days of the week.
