37F. Diagnoses of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Bone Marrow Edema.
Please note, my query does not pertain to bisphosphonates sometimes prescribed for CRPS. I treat the nerve pain with Scrambler Therapy. Query only for bone turnover.
I have ongoing bone marrow edema (ischemic in nature) as a result of hypoxia from CRPS. Responds well to 60mg Pamidronate IV. However, I also have CRPS in both hands and arms and my last IV set off a massive arm flare due to the cannulation.
I was recommended to consider oral bisphosphonates, but unsure if as effective. Could anyone share their expertise? This would be solely to treat BME. Thanks.

For background:
I have a BME and have two patents on a shoulder rehab device that works absolutely incredibly it really cures shoulder pain / neck pain and posture in one easy system. Actually so well people don’t believe me till they try it but this has been a huge downfall. I was going to medical school (509 MCAT, 8 letters of recommendations, 1,000hours volunteering etc..) also been a CSCS strength coach for 10+ years. This business has been replaced by my consulting business that’s generating me much more money.
My product isn’t the prettiest, and I knew I over complicated things. I was a scientist and engineer, I knew my weak point was marketing. Hence the was. But it literally fixes upper body pain in weeks when nothing else works.
I had a great job paying 170k+ in medical device sales but was working 60 hours or more a week. I thought I needed to quit to start my dream of being an entrepreneur so I did.
I was advised by a mentor to vette 12 separate marketing agencies and go with the one I felt best about.
So I did, hired one at $8500 a month to handle a ton of tasks for me. After 3 months of no results and no ROI I fired them.
The same thing happened for several more months where I took accountability for this, I knew how to sell in person but online was so much harder.
We’re about a year later and I have learned so much about marketing and advertising I’ve been paid as a consultant to help others avoid the mistakes but my original business still isn’t generating sales as to how I think it should be.
I’m trying to stay away from PPC ads until I have the income to fund at least 1k/month. But I’m now launching an affiliate program for personal trainers to help me move product.
Does anyone have insight to a successful affiliate campaign in the fitness space they would be willing to share?
Here is my plan:
Cold Email outreach - get product for free if they sign up for coaching where I teach them how to use and sell the product - $50 commission for every sale, they can give clients $100 off ($299 down to $199 product package for new users) - continual training and coaching for those in the network for free
Is this just a numbers game? I know my offer needs to be rock solid here - I have all the tools to track and distribute correctly through my CRM. Would love any insight or advice

Hi all,
Dealing with a confusing foot issue that has the ortho doc and my PT stumped. Essentially, I started having intermittent pain on the top of my right foot about a month ago (mid March) that I first noticed while out on my daily walks. The first occurrence I remember felt like a twinge around my 2nd or 3rd metatarsals — surprising but not severe and I thought I just stepped weirdly, almost like an intense cramp, and it went away after a few minutes of walking.
That area of the foot proceeded to get a little achier and felt “off” over the next few days, like there was extra pressure — ice, elevation, and rest weren’t really knocking it down and I worried about a potential stress fracture or tendon issue so headed in to get it checked out.(Former runner / athlete but haven’t been running the past few years due to other joint pain — under the care of rheumatologist now for potential RA or autoimmune condition. Typically walk about 5-6 miles split up throughout the day in Brooks Adrenalines or NB 880s.)
Ortho doc took weight bearing X-rays which showed nothing wrong, but proceeded with an MRI because the pain is affecting daily life and I have a trip in about a month with a lot of walking planned.
MRI showed no signs of stress fracture in the areas of I’m having pain (over 2nd and 3rd metatarsals.) The report did note mild bone marrow edema in the 1st and 5th metatarsals and one distal toe bone, which I know can be the precursor to a stress fracture, but my ortho said those findings weren’t significant in the context of my pain, and that the BME in the other metatarsals may be related to the joint/autoimmune issues I’m having. The orthopedic radiologist also reviewed the scan and didn’t have concern over this finding.
The ortho said I could boot, use a carbon fiber insert, or just stay in supportive shoes, whatever is most comfortable. I opted to try the carbon insert (having used a boot before for tendinitis, it really wrecked my back and caused issues elsewhere.)
I’m now at a loss of what do to: treat the pain like a bone issue that maybe the MRI missed or try something else? Neuroma and nerve pain don’t quite fit the symptoms, though doing nerve glides doesn’t seem to be making it worse either. A week of a steroid pack brought the pain down about 60% but it returned right after. Ortho says next option is cortisone shot, which I’m a little hesitant to do for 1. Lack of clarity where exactly the issue is in the foot and 2. Implications for long term tendon health.
I’ve been off all weight bearing exercise for 3 weeks, only stationary biking with very low resistance, aqua jogging in the pool, and mat based strength work. (These exercises okay’ed by the ortho.) While there has been maybe a 20% improvement in pain, it feels pretty glacial for how much rest / avoiding activity I’m doing - the lack of a clear cause is annoying, but I’m mostly concerned because I can’t reschedule the upcoming trip (lots of walking) and am at such a low level of mobility for unknown reasons.
Curious to know if anyone has had a similar experience and would appreciate any insight!

Hi All,
I am a current Neuroscience major, Biomedical Engineering minor. I only recently realized I had some interest in BME, specifically Neural Engineering, late into undegrad, and I picked up my minor this year as a junior.
I intend on first pursuing a masters, and then a PhD after if all goes well. The reasoning is that I have a relatively mediocre GPA (3.63, one D due to family obligations), and only just started research in a joint pain lab, which is neuroscience.
I was wondering what I could do to make myself a better candidate for a MS in BME. I have a heavy bio background and I work as a CNA. I will have finished the engineering core courses by the time I apply (including circuits), but I feel that I’m lacking on the computational/coding aspect and upper level classes. What would you recommend I spend some time doing/learning to boost my chances?

My Two words: I'm not sure how to feel about all of this. I wasn't accepted into any of my reach schools, and the lack of targets didn't help. However, I did manage to get into Purdue, UMN Twin Cities, and RIT – all of which have amazing BME programs. Now, I'm feeling confused about where to go because the costs are basically the same for all of them, and each has its own benefits. I'm currently leaning towards ASU and Purdue as my top two choices. Let's see where I end up. Sidenote: As far I can i see I have the lowest SAT score for people who got into Purdue Engineering, i feel bad for all those people with 1550s getting rejected but oh well. Guys help me decide where to go ASU has a great climate and having to worry about snow is amazing and ASU's tie-up with KCL for BME looks cool plus unlike Purdue they don't have First-year general engineering then admit to your major bs which means I get to study my major and uni can't take that away from me unless I fuckup bigtime since I can't spend over 150k USD for my study Purdue zero financial aid for Internations is also hella concerning but I like Purdue as well so it's been a pain to decide. My advice to anyone going through this process is to stay human and focus on your grades

My Review: 3/5 stars
As someone who is Scottish, I am always intrigued (and wary) of books set in my home country. Doctrines of Fire is set in Edinburgh and does a great job of capturing the essence of Edinburgh and building an atmosphere that interlaces mystery and dark academia. The historical element of the story works well and is carefully detailed – at no point does it feel unrealistic or forced, instead the reader feels that they have stepped clearly into 1700s Edinburgh as the plot unfolds.
Unfortunately, the other elements of the story didn’t work as well for me. George, as the main character felt a bit bland, and I struggled to become fully invested in his character. I also felt that the academic rivalry that underpinned the story as a whole was just a bit too low stakes for me and seemed almost secondary to the world building going on. All in all, the book was well-written, but I suspect more suited to those who enjoy historical or low-fantasy fantasy novels.

Montego – Brian McClellan

What it is about: Twelve-year-old Montego al'Bou is an orphan, a provincial peasant boy left alone by the recent death of his grandmother. Possessing nothing more than his grandmother's cudgel, he strikes out to the capital where the influential Grappo have offered to bring him up in the luxury of an Ossan guild-family. He finds his welcome frosty and quickly discovers that the greatest sin in the capital is to be born without money. Montego dreams of being his own man, of making it in the cudgelling arenas of the Empire's deadly spectator sport where even a provincial can be worshipped like a god. But skill isn't the only barrier, without allies, cunning, and a helping of daring, he can't hope to make it in the capital.
My Review: 3/5 stars
Montego is a prequal to McClellan’s In the Shadow of Lightning, but it is one that benefits majorly from reading Shadow of Lightning first. My problem, however, was that despite reading the first book, I had forgotten quite a lot of the major plot points. Although I enjoyed Montego, I possibly would have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t spent so much of it trying to remember who everyone was.
Having read McClellan’s previous works, I would generally have said that his strength lies in magic systems and action scenes. However, although Montego has action, the magic system plays only a limited role. In Montego, we really get to see McClellan’s strength as a character writer, we learn about Montego’s background, not only getting a better of Montego himself, but also the characters of Demir and Kizzie. McClellan writes these characters well, and you do find yourself invested both in them and their friendship.

Untethered Sky – Fonda Lee

What it is about: Ester’s family was torn apart when a manticore killed her mother and baby brother, leaving her with nothing but her father’s painful silence and a single, overwhelming need to kill the monsters that took her family. Ester’s path leads her to the King’s Royal Mews, where the giant rocs of legend are flown to hunt manticores by their brave and dedicated ruhkers. Paired with a fledgling roc named Zahra, Ester finds purpose and acclaim by devoting herself to a calling that demands absolute sacrifice and a creature that will never return her love. The terrifying partnership between woman and roc leads Ester not only on the empire’s most dangerous manticore hunt, but on a journey of perseverance and acceptance.
My Review: 5/5 stars
I loved this book, and if I have any complaints, it is that it’s only a novella, I absolutely feel this world deserves a longer story. Untethered Sky is a story that I would describe as fantastic in the most literal sense. Fonda Lee has managed to create this amazing world that I would love to visit (despite the monsters). Rocs are wild animals that can be unpredictable, requiring a lot of knowledge in their trainers. Lee has clearly researched falconry and has infused this into the story. It means that such a fantastic career feels so real and as a reader I felt so invested in Ester and Zahra and the success of their relationship.
Ester as the main character is engaging, and I found it impressive that in such a short story Lee is able to make the reader empathise so much with Ester. We feel her anger at what happened to her family, her desperation to be a good rukher and how much she cares about her Roc, Zahra. It is easy to become emotionally invested in what happens to the pair. Probably because of the length of Untether Sky, we are introduced to other characters, but they are not especially fleshed out. The other rukhers that Ester befriends act to flesh out the world. Some of the lessons of Rukhery that Ester describes, we see made flesh in these other characters (and their rocs) and the decisions they make, both good and bad.

Life as a modern witch was never simple … but now it’s about to get apocalyptic.
My Review: 2/5 stars
This is a book that I feel would have benefitted from more editing, there is the bones of a good story I just really struggled with the execution. Dawson covers some important issues in this book, about transgender and LGBT rights but the execution just fell flat to me. It felt like the reader was being told about these issues, but not really shown the impact. We are told about how evil the main antagonist is, and how wrong her views are instead of really seeing the impact it is having on the character in question. It felt preachy, which is never good. I was also disappointed by the treatment of Leonie and her coven, it is clear that Dawson wanted to acknowledge the difficulties of BME women, but it is given so little time or space that it feels more like a tick box exercise that actual representation.
I also struggled with the character development, other than Niamh none of the main characters felt fully fleshed out. The main villain of the story is a terf, who goes through such a rapid and extreme change in character that it feels unrealistic and honestly just baffling at times. By the end of the story, the villain is about as believable as one of those moustache twirling villains you see in a panto. I also feel like she is given too much space in the book, that actually could have been spent with the transgender character in question. Given this book is being lauded in transgender and LGBT communities, a lot of must be really triggering and yet there are no warnings given about this.

My Review: 5/5 stars
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, if I was tempted to knock a star off it is mainly because Liu could not continue his brilliance into the next book. I was surprised to hear that this book is often described as hard to finish, because I found the story flowed really well. I thought the book was excellently written and well-paced, this is quite a long book and covers a span of time, but because of Liu’s tendency to move from plot point to plot point without getting too bogged down in exposition, it works brilliantly and really helps to keep the reader engaged in the story.
I also liked that the setting was not yet another Western Europe knockoff, it feels clearly East Asian in inspiration. Although I will say the meddling Gods give me Ancient Greek vibes. However, it is the characters that really make this story, although we are introduced to various characters, it is really Kuni Garu and Mati Zyndu that form the heart of this. These two compliment and contrast one another well and it is easy to become invested in their friendship and heartbroken about how that evolves. I do think the story could have benefitted from more impactful female characters, but in the end this was not enough for me to change my rating of the story.

1. Tell us about your childhood, at least about those crumbs that you remember. What kind of brother was Rix, how did you like to spend your time?
“Rix and I were friends... I guess. I used to run after him like crazy. He understood me better than my parents, even though he tried to pretend that this was not the case. But I don't blame him. There's too much difference between us, but I was still wondering what my older brother was doing. But I liked it most when he read to me. I didn't care if it was a book or an instruction, it was about attention and a sense of... security.”

2. At what point did you come up with the “right” plan against the clerics? You were very young when you were kidnapped, and the clerics could have easily brainwashed you, but they couldn’t. How did you resist their influence?
“The plan came together piece by piece throughout the entire training in the Order, but the turning point happened after the explosion in the arena. The Pontiff gradually lost his vigilance - the body required more attention, but I also could not find the right moment either. When I learned that Rix had flown to Ferit to enlist Corvius' support, I realized that I could not delay any longer.
Clerics... Just one word makes my mouth feel bitter...
I perceived everything as some kind of game. Maybe it was a mental defense mechanism? The memories of my family are hidden somewhere deep inside me. I always imagined it as some kind of core... the core of my personality that the clerics could not crack. I didn’t believe anything they said, although there were so many lies that they could have flooded the entire Capitalium. And I took care of this core, I was afraid that one day it would crack and they would get inside.
They couldn’t.”
3. What do you think, if the clerics hadn't attacked the Paitrum then, how would your fate have turned out? What kind of work would you devote your life to?
“I don’t know... Sometimes I want to erase my memory and go back to the past to fix everything, even though this is impossible. I sometimes imagine her as Darea from another world. Happy in my ignorance. Happy in my ordinary life. At such moments, I can barely restrain myself from bursting into tears.”
4. My beautiful, grown-up girl… you are a super sister, you are so similar to Rix)
“I hope you're not talking about physical resemblance. And if not about him, then... thank you… It's hard for me to accept this. Rix is... so whole. I just have to hope that one day I will be like him.”
5. In the finale, before shutting down the councillors, Roth hints at the "continuation of the banquet" in privacy. Have you ever had any connections with such characters? And if everything didn't go according to plan, how would you get out of it?
“I hinted to him myself that I wouldn't mind having fun with him. Men trust beautiful girls so easily…
But I would never... never do that.
However, nothing would prevent me from taking control of Roth. Owning a scarium is sometimes very useful.”
6. Did you have a plan B in case something went wrong?
“No, I put everything I had on the line.”
7. Could the Councillors have thought that you would end up deceiving them?
“This is out of the question. Darea is a good girl, everyone knows that. Yes, with character, but good, loyal to the Order, ready to sacrifice everything for it.
Huh, of course…”
8. Tell us, how was your training in the Order of the Clerics? Briefly describe your school day.
“The training is cyclical and divided into disciplines, each of which is studied at a certain time of the day. Intent is trained in the morning. Often these are physical exercises that should strengthen the character and develop discipline so that the cleric will be adamant and remain unbroken in the face of circumstances. Strength is trained during the day. It is a mixture of mental and physical exercises, direct work with the scarium. In the evening, when there is no strength left, the masters test the Faith of the clerics. They crush you, stuff you with lies, the history of New Rome is twisted inside out, where the main emphasis is on the achievements of the Pontiffs and the power of the Order. Try not to break down or get enough of it after that.”
9. Tell me, dear Darea, who ...
… was able to give the world a second chance. Where are you now? What do you do, how often do you see your brother? How are you living in general?
“When I see happy people, for some reason I am very afraid. I'm afraid that one day something similar might happen to them, which is what happened to me. I'm afraid that when I find happiness, it will be taken away again. The world is alive, but my life and happiness were not included in the deal.”
… couldn't give the world a second chance. So... you were left on a distant purple planet alone, probably without food or water, next to the bodies of your parents. What happened next? Are you... still there?
“And where should I go? Forever wandering in search of... what? A new goal? And what, after that?”
10. Previously, I had the opportunity to learn that you often spoke with the ruler of the Inhabited Space. What was your impression of these conversations?
“He's the epitome of all the evil I could imagine. He changed people, changed their personalities, changed their purpose as he pleased. I respect the strength and perseverance that helps to achieve high levels of proficiency in scarium… But I respect these qualities in people, and the Pontiff has long ceased to be a human being. I'm ready to curse for the rest of my life.”
11. Do you have any hobbies?
“Hobbies... Individuals have hobbies, but in the Order there are no individuals.”
12. Do you like to remember the time when you lived on Paitrum? Do you feel pain or longing because of the memories?
“Only pain. A pain that will not go away and that I will never get used to. I can only hope that maybe one day... But you can even get tired of this.”
13. How well do you feel you can control a spaceship?
“So much so that I surprise some male pilots 😏”
14. How did you feel about Rix's choice?
“Unfortunately, I don't know everyone, but I know one thing… Brother should not rest on his laurels and think that since he is a victorious hero, he can just as easily maintain a relationship. Let him work on them as hard as he worked on his cubes ;)”

That’s all 😊 I have to admit, I didn’t expect an interview with Darea… but I’m pleasantly surprised! I honestly wish there were more moments of Rix and his family in the story, at least flashbacks of them, but just getting a glimpse of it here still warmed my heart ❤ and I’d love to see Darea challenge her future brother-in-law in a spaceship race 🤣

I'm a science student Bio-Math to be exact. I chose this path bcs early on I was not serious about my future and my relatives kept pushing with the BE A NURSE. So after 10th everything I did was with the thought I'm gonna be a nurse untill I realized it's not my cup of tea (communications,being kind and caring.I could but that's definitely opposite to how I am 💀 and my anger issues could never) SO I started thing abt Biotech or Bme. More abt Biotech bcs I like the Idea of working alone, research labs and stuff but the reviews from biotech students and passouts around here and rather discouraging.
Tbh I'm still confused and not sure I used dream about working in company carrying laptop and stuff when I was little but that's that. One thing that still remains the same is my dream to travel around the world try different dishes, cultures and everything (all I've seen for my past 18 years since I was born is just MY HOUSE, MY SCHOOL, MOM'S HOUSE).. So I dreamed and dreamed getting a job that'll pay decently so that I can support my family while I can save to travel around (once in a year atleast).
I was already a self independent, has enough money girl in my dream untill reality slapped me. I'm in 12 th giving board. All my friends are already talking about those entrance exams they gonna give and colleges while I'm still confused and dk what to do

2020 has opened its doors, and the world is in pandemonium with the arrival of the pandemic. AEW World Champ Kenny Omega is super stressed and super pissed off at the same time, because of how everything went down in his match with Jon Moxley. This time around, the roles are reversed - Omega is chasing Moxley, but The Hellraiser keeps denying a rematch, because "Omega hasn't tapped into the dark side yet." Nevertheless, a new challenger approaches, in the form of a young upstart Jungle Boy, who earned this opportunity after getting three wins over Chris Jericho, the final one via clean pinfall off a Standing Frankensteiner.
The new, vicious Omega obliterates poor Jungle Jack throughout most of the match, in an attempt to prove to Moxley that his vicious side has been awakened. Omega gets punished for taking too long to hit the One Winged Angel, and Jack counters it with a Poison Rana, and then a Standing Frankensteiner for a close 2 count !! Omega immediately explodes with a V Trigger, then runs off the ropes for another one, but Boy stops him with a lethal Superkick that almost wins him the title. Ultimately, a Snare Trap attempt is countered by Omega biting Jack's arm (funny I know), then decapitating him with 3 V Triggers !! The ref stops the match, as Jack is out cold and can't fight. Infuriated, Omega picks up a KO'd Jack for the OWA, then stops, realizing what he's done. Soon afterwards, Kenny comes to his senses fully and helps Jack up, apologizing.
The blow off is set for Revolution - Omega vs Moxley 2, for the World Title.. in a DEATH MATCH !! The contest is absolutely brutal, both men attempting to destroy one another. Moxley uses his previous death match experiences to introduce Omega to a whole new world of wrestling and pain, while The Cleaner uses his creativity to bust out interesting spots involving weapons. In the end, Kenny hits a V Trigger, that sends Mox off the apron through two barbed-wired tables filled with thumbtacks !! Somehow, The Hellraiser comes back into the ring, and gets met with a V Trigger.. KICK OUT !! Moxley slaps Omega in the face, in one final act of defiance, which earns him a OWA.. ON THE EXPOSED PART OF THE RING !! Kenny covers and that is it - successful title defense delivered, violent side established, and Moxley's first loss handed = check.
With Kenny retaining the World Title, Hangman winning the first-ever Face of the Revolution Golden Key, and Cody becoming the inaugural TNT Champion, The Elite almost has all the gold. Almost being the word that triggers their next feud, in the form of SCU, whose members Kazarian and Sky are the World Tag Team Champions. The crafty Fallen Angel Daniels makes a deal with Omega, that kind of puts him in hot water with the rest of his friends - if Daniels gets a World Title shot, then The Bucks can get a Tag Title shot. Omega accepts and it's on - Omega vs Daniels for the World Title is made official ! The aged Daniels puts up one final high level performance, but he ultimately loses after missing a BME and getting hit with a V TriggeOWA combo immediately afterwards. As a result of Kenny's win, The Bucks get a shot at Sky and Kaz, and they win the Tag Titles. The Elite officially runs AEW !!
Due to their amazing accomplishment, The Elite has a celebration on Dynamite, which turns bloody very soon. Shawn Spears spearheads (nice) a turn, where he, MJF, and Wardlow absolutely annihilate The Elite with chairs, champagne bottles, and title shots to the head. Nightmare Family is no more, and Spears gives a typical heel explanation as to why they turned on Cody and his buddies - "you stole the spotlight, you never helped us, blah blah." Dustin Rhodes and young lion Lee Johnson get an ultimatum - either join Spears and his crew, or end up like The Elite. Both babyfaces refuse the offer, so Spears and his allies injure them, adding even more fuel to the fire. The heartless Spears proposes a Blood and Guts 5 vs 5 match at Double or Nothing, with an interesting stipulation - if Spears' team wins, they all get title shots against The Elite. However, if The Elite win, Spears and his boys are fired. Cody, Kenny, Hangman, and The Bucks make their return, and confidently (but also carelessly) accept, eager to get revenge.
If you notice, Spears' team only has 3 members thus far. Well, the final two additions are made on the go-home Dynamite before the PPV - IT'S THE DEBUTING FTR !! Cash and Dax are All Elite, and alongside the diabolical heels, they brutalize the babyfaces once more, with everyone hitting a Piledriver on an individual member of The Elite. Blood and Guts ends up being just that, a beautiful symphony of violence and storytelling. For the grand finale, Cody and MJF finish up on the top of the cage all alone, with Cody pulverizing his former friend for turning on him. Omega climbs to the peak of the structure too, but not quite fully, as one of his legs and arms are dangling off. Omega tells Cody to stop beating up Max needlessly, and put him away. Cody and Kenny end up arguing, which allows Max to push Cody with his leg into Kenny... SENDING OMEGA FLYING OFF THE CAGE AND THROUGH THE RAMP !!! Everyone is stunned, as an incensed Rhodes turns around to attack Max, but gets a low blow for his troubles. MJF quickly gets up, and hits a Piledriver on top of the cage - 1,2,3 !! Evil wins !
MJF gets serenaded on the following Dynamite, as he says that he achieved greatness at Double or Nothing. He defeated Cody Rhodes at the peak of the world, at its.. pinnacle. The big five officially get christened as The Pinnacle, as a big swerve is revealed - in the build up, it seemed like Spears was the leader, and the one who would get a shot at Kenny, but it's actually MJF, and all of that was planned to throw Kenny off his game, so he couldn't see Max coming. Furthermore, MJF cashes in his World Title opportunity for next week, not waiting whatsoever !! Omega comes down with crutches, as his back is still severely injured, but he's ready to defend the belt no matter the cost. MJF attacks him before The Cleaner could even get into the ring - Heatseeker !! 1,2, KICK OUT !! Kenny manages to fight back, and even hits a V Trigger, ready to hoist MJF up for OWA. As he does, his back gives out, and Max kicks him in the back. MJF then hits 3 Piledrivers in quick succession, 1,2,3 !! MJF is the new AEW World Champion, and he did it in the cheapest way possible - defeating a half-crippled man..
The Pinnacle all get their title shots, with varying results - FTR defeat The Bucks to win the Tag Titles, Hangman retains the Golden Key over Wardlow (after reversing the F10 into a roll up), and Spears fails to defeat Cody for the TNT Title. Meanwhile, MJF has to worry about his first challenger, soon-to-be eternal enemy, Darby Allin. Because of his loner status, Darby has no friends to aid him against Pinnacle, so MJF retains after constant interference from his friends. With Kenny injured, Cody steps up to challenge MJF for the World Title, but the dastardly champion doesn't accept.. unless Cody goes through his trials. The trials end up being what they were in real life, with an added one - Cody must relinquish the TNT Title !! Cody does, but not before going Randy Orton/Triple H on Pinnacle, smashing MJF with the title in the face !! The American Nightmare lays out all five bad guys by himself, showing that MJF and his accomplices are not vulnerable, setting up a huge encounter for Fyter Fest !
Rhodes vs MJF delivers and then some, in a vintage old-school classic. Despite having help from both a returning Dustin, Lee, and Hangman, The Pinnacle's MJF still manages to retain his title, after interference from the new member.. Tully Blanchard !! Tully punches Cody with his diamond ring while he was on the apron, allowing MJF to hit Cody with his own move, the Cross Rhodes, and escape with the belt. With the addition of one of the greatest minds in the history of the business, The Pinnacle seems unstoppable.. until The Cleaner makes a return. Omega makes his return in early August, interrupting a party thrown in MJF's honor, kicking everyone's asses, and finally putting Max through a table with a One Winged Angel off the top rope !!! A maniacal Omega grabs the mic and makes a challenge - "me, you, All Out, 60 Minute Iron Man Match !!"
MJF accepts, because the cocky bastard is insulted that a nerd like Omega would insinuate he can't hang in that ring for an hour. The match is made official, but both men add a stipulation - MJF must face both of the Young Bucks in singles competition (which he does, and wins both times), while Omega cannot use the One Winged Angel in the match, because Max is terrified of it. The contest doesn't disappoint at all, and Kenny gets the first fall by reversing MJF's Piledriver into a V Trigger and a Piledriver of his own. The champ ties the score with a Top Rope Piledriver seven minutes later, and we stay even until the final two minutes. The ref goes down, and MJF tries to cheat, but gets a V Trigger for his troubles. Kenny realizes he can do the OWA and nobody will know, so he goes for it, but then changes his mind, wanting to win honorably. The Cleaner instead goes for a Tiger Driver, but MJF reverses it into a pin while holding the ropes for the three - THE TIME RAN OUT !! MJF escapes with the title, and the show goes off the air with the villain celebrating on the stage, and Omega looking deflated in the ring.
The rotten MJF celebrates "defeating the entire Elite" over the next couple of weeks, with Open Challenges for the World Title. Naturally, the whole thing is a ruse, and only jobbers answer, with MJF retaining easily. However, on week 4, Dustin Rhodes accepts, saying he wants one last shot at a World Title before he calls his career quits. MJF and Dustin put up a hell of a fight in the main event, but unfortunately, Pinnacle interference allows MJF to kick Dustin in his shattered dreams, and use a Piledriver to retain again. Post match, Pinnacle put a beating on Dustin, bloodying him, as MJF practically feeds him the microphone, ordering him to say he's retired. Dustin says "you didn't beat everyone in The Elite, you stupid son of a bitch", AS HANGMAN'S MUSIC HITS !! Page lays out the entire Pinnacle, and saves his mentor.
Hangman announces that after almost 9 months of holding it, he's using his Golden Key to unlock his destiny, and get a shot at the World Title !! FTR play mind games with the cowboy, telling him they're his real family, but Page doesn't fall for any of it. MJF accepts the match if and only if Page can defeat the ENTIRE Pinnacle in a Gauntlet Match, a challenge that seems impossible, but a valiant Hangman accepts. Cash gets beat with Dead Eye, Dax with Buckshot, Spears with a roll up, which only leaves Wardlow, in a rematch from June. Again, the ref goes down, which prompts Pinnacle and The Elite to come down and brawl. Omega delivers a V Trigger to Wardlow while he was leaning on the ropes, which allows Hangman to nail the Buckshot - 1,2,3 !! Hangman gets a title opportunity come Full Gear!! It's the clash of AEW's best babyface vs its best heel, and what a clash it ends up being. In the end, Hangman sets up for the Buckshot, but MJF has his Dynamite Diamond Ring ready. Page slingshots in, and MJF goes for a Diamond Punch, but Page dodges, and then hits a Rebound Lariat, followed by a proper Buckshot !! 1,2,3 - HE DID IT, HE DID IT !! PAGE IS THE CHAMPION !!
The cowboy gets a big celebration on the following Dynamite, but it doesn't last too long, as another rival faction interrupts The Elite - Inner Circle ! Jericho says Page should prove himself before facing him, so he proposes that the cowboy defends the belt every week against his Inner Circle buddies, before at last getting Jericho. Page accepts, and he ends up retaining over both Sammy and Hager. The last obstacle is facing Angelico and Jack Evans, Inner Circle's tag team, in a Handicap Match, but Omega offers to help Hangman.. if he gets a title shot, should he defeat Jericho and retain. The two bros shake on it, and then end up defeating Hybrid 2. Finally, Hangman retains over Jericho by countering a Judas Effect into a Dead Eye + Buckshot, and looks to end his year strongly..
..until Don Callis shows up. Don weasels his way into The Elite, despite nobody in the group being welcoming to him, apart from Kenny. The big Omega-Page rematch is set up for Winter Is Coming, Dynamite's final episode of 2020. The build up sees Kenny talking about how much Hangman has grown in the last 15 months, but it doesn't matter because the result will be the same as it was back at All Out 2019. Hangman also mentions how much he respects and loves Kenny, whilst also looking forward to a great match and a successful title defense, that will only cement his own legacy. Kenny and Page also agree that The Elite should stay in the back, and without hesitation, The Bucks and Cody agree, wishing both men luck. The two good guys wrestle a clean, back and forth match.. until a ref bump. Don leaps from his commentary position, and runs down to the ring, tossing.. a screwdriver into Kenny's hands !?? The Cleaner looks bewildered as hell, but he better wake up quick, as Page scoops him up for Dead Eye. Kenny reverses.. AND HITS ADAM WITH THE SCREWDRIVER, MY GOD !! Omega does it again, even more viciously this time, before planting Hangman with OWA !! Don wakes the ref up - 1,2,3 !! BULLSHIT !! Omega is a two-time World Champion, but he did it by screwing over a man he called brother !! With a maniacal look on his face, Omega celebrates with Don, who's on the verge of an orgasm. Cody and Bucks run down to the ring, but Don and Kenny escape through the crowd, and in a limo, to end a chaotic 2020, and a chaotic final match of the aforementioned year..

Ok I am PRAYING that someone else can relate, but I’m listening to today’s PlanBri ep rn and lmao I am absolutely LOSING it at the part when Bri brings up / explains the BME Pain Olympics. Breaking the long silence, Caesar came to our gladiatorial haven to tell us about the secret...
1. Cassius was your friend – best or closest, it doesn't matter. Tell me, how did you meet? Did you two have any funny experiences in your wild youth?
“Ludium, where we studied, became the place where I met Cassius. I was a very closed child who was also constantly under the close supervision of the Order. Freedom-loving, strong-willed and charismatic Flavius almost immediately attracted my attention. He was a man to whom you involuntarily gravitate and admire, even if you don't want to admit it to yourself.
My youth wasn't as riotous as I might have liked. Did Cassius tell you about the burning pig race? Oh, right. Then I'll tell you about something else.
Ludium was filled with a variety of teachers. We adored some, despised others. But we hated only one - the teacher of rhetoric. This pompous turkey took advantage of his position and tried in every possible way to raise his low self-esteem at our expense. To his credit, the man was well educated, but incredibly superstitious. Which was what we took advantage of.
On the day when we were supposed to take the rhetoric exam, we brought a dozen white horses to the teacher's house. Meeting even one white horse is an omen of failure and grief, and here there were as many as ten. We didn't have any money, so we had to take them on a short-term lease without notifying the owner. When the teacher came out of the house, his face turned whiter than the horses themselves. And to consolidate the success, we put a long ladder next to his door, under which he passed.
We haven't seen the rhetoric teacher for about a week. There were rumors that he had locked himself in his house and would not let anyone in, surrounded by incense and sacred texts.”
2. How did you feel after you killed Cassius? And what did you feel when you saw Labelle, who looked so similar to you?
“At that moment, there was nothing but emptiness in my soul. Labelle turned out to be living proof of Cassius' betrayal. I don't forgive betrayals.”
3. Have you ever loved and how was it?
“Painful. Love could never be my companion, and if it turned out to be, it was followed by the disappearance without a trace of a person who was unlucky enough to become the object of my adoration. And that's why I forbid myself from falling in love and loving. Because I knew what it could lead to.”
4. What do you believe in?
“That everything goes on as usual and everything is predetermined. Fate cannot be deceived.”
5. Do you love loneliness, have you accepted it or are you burdened by it?

9. Why did the Roman Empire choose the title "Caesar" for its rulers?
“Partly - a tribute to tradition. Partly - the transfer of the image. The word “Caesar" itself is a moral guideline. This is an order. It's a way of life. This is a way of doing things. This word has some kind of magical combination of letters, certain characteristics and requirements. Many can become emperors, but to become Caesar... no, it will require something more.”
10. What is your origin? What planet did you come from?
“I was created in Capitolium, the capital of New Rome.”
11. How did you meet the Supreme Pontiff?
“The Supreme Pontiff is a rotating position. I was acquainted with several heads of the Order. Getting to know them is part of the official protocol. The ceremony usually takes place in the palace. But to meet and get to know the Supreme Pontiff are diametrically opposite things.”
12. Weren't you afraid that his influence on you might become too strong?
“Up to a certain point, I believed that we both lived for the well-being and glory of New Rome. When you have one path, there is no need to be afraid. But if the path itself was the goal for me, then for the Supreme Pontiff, the path was only a means.”
13. What functionality does the black-and-gold armor that you were wearing on the Paitrum have?

“All rulers need it. Conscience is one of the ways of self-regulation. The thirst to use your power always clouds the mind, especially when you don't have to fight for the popularity of the population. The absence of fear that someone else will be chosen instead of you is a sure path to chaos. Only a righteous conscience, which makes you gnash your teeth with anger, can save the soul.”
16. How does it feel to be at the top? Being an emperor is a huge responsibility, an honor, and at the same time, it is also a burden. Have you often felt lonely? Did you want an ordinary life? Perhaps you dreamed of a family, children, simple human joys?
“I am not very familiar with simple human joys. It's even hard for me to imagine what it's like to have a family, children. There are no such emotions in my spectrum of feelings, because they have never been experienced by me. Seeing the smile of a father rejoicing at the success of his son, I realize that this is a combination of pride, joy and partly complacency. I understand. But I don't feel it.”

17. What would you say to Labelle if you met him five years after his father was killed? Have you been waiting for retribution all these years?
“What's done is done. I look at upcoming and possible events with equal indifference. Whatever the outcome.”
18. You thought Cassius betrayed you by trying to create a clone, but what if Labelle is your own blood?
“Alright. But he's not my son. I am fertile.” **

20. It looks like you already knew something about Rix at the time of your meeting at the palace. So, I wonder what kind of rumors have reached you and have they reached you at all?
“I had the opportunity to talk to his sister quite often and for a long time.”
