Je voulais juste partager un truc un peu marrant qui s'est passé ce matin à mon bureau de vote et qui m'a fait un peu réfléchir.
Un petit papi était juste devant moi, il papote avec les gens, raconte un peu sa vie et sa carrière. Puis il arrive devant la table avec tous les choix de candidats. Et là... Clap.. Acteur studio... C'est devenue la comedie française... On etait au théâtre.
Il mets ses lunettes repère l'affiche avec Marion dessus. Il pose le doigt dessus pour être sûr de bien lire ! Il demande combien il doit prendre de bulletin. On lui répond 2 min. Il redirige sa main vers la table et il sort avec un acting incroyable "OK bon j'ai pas lu les programmes moi donc je vais en prendre plusieurs AU HAZARD..." tout en se jetant avec vigueur sur le prospectus de MMLP.... Sans vraiment regarder il a ensuite enchaîné 3-4 "et celui là" "et celui là" pour essayer de brouiller les pistes.
Alors je suis pas là pour juger même si j'avoue j'ai trouvé la scène risible. Dans ma ville apparemment les gens n'assument pas bien de voter ED. (Là où j'étais avant c'était pas un secret....)
Mais j''avoue que quand c'était à mon tour de prendre mes bulletins, je me suis dit qu'on a vraiment pas beaucoup de discrétion niveau vote... Et même avec des orientations plus commune et acceptée, ça m'a mis un peu mal à l'aise.
On se rend bien compte des orientations par les bulletins qui sont pris. Et je parle pas de l'isoloir qui dans mon cas ne fermait juste pas... Je trouve ça un peu bizarre en sachant que le vote est sensé être secret. Et je me dis qu'on pourrait quand même faire mieux...

If Brown stays healthy, he should be here after this season. DeSean's ability was bonkers and it was on display most Sundays, he is a generational player and definitely deserves the number two spot here. Mike Quick, a career Eagle, was an outstanding receiver on some really bad post-Vermeil teams, playing in only one playoff game in his eight seasons. Ben Hawkins was a pretty big badass, making some insane catches before that was really a thing that everyone did, all without ever having his chin strap buckled, his highlights are pretty fun to watch. Tommy McDonald, our one old school receiver on the list and the other Hall of Famer on the list, he played like a pinball, and is one of the most beloved Eagles ever. Barnett and Williams might be considered one of the top receiver duos we've had as the primary targets for Randall for the first half of the 90s. Jeremy Maclin was a personal favorite, and with DeSean would make up what would be considered the best duo ever (until now?). Smith has been playing lights so far in his young career and can't wait to see how things turn out for him.

2024.06.09 01:42 Kwatakye SN as foundation of Proton Notes... OR Proton PKM to rule them all!!?

I've noticed that a lot of Proton users in the Standard Notes discussions also use Notion, Obsidian, Nook, Roam and other note taking applications that serve as great personal knowledge management tools. Haven't seen anyone claim Logseq but we out here, too! Consequently, I'm sure there are many of us in the process of deGoogling ourselves out of Keep and Tasks as well.
I'm wondering if it makes since to advocate for a Proton PKM application instead of just simple Proton Notes built on top of or from SN? I mean the skeleton is already there, right?
Why not agitate for a full fledged markdown based (already built in) PKM tool set from Proton complete with blocks based writing (already built-in to a great extent), double linking (gonna take some work), templates, dashboard construction (kinda somewhat already in place with smart views), image pasting and a graph (kinda useless but some think its important) along with drive, calendar and mail integration? Some of the concerns about long form writing and blocks are already mitigated in SN because we can already pick different types of notes. They also literally have blogging infrastructure you can post to from inside SN (Listed.to).
Maybe that's their plan? If so, I think it would be awesome. Better than building a new browser or messenger app for damn sure.
There's also good market to pursue with a PKM approach as well. Notion's revenue is around $65 million recently (which also seems to be similar range to Proton's?). At its peak, Evernote hit $100 million in recurring revenue, millions of paying customers and over 250 million users.
With Proton's existing customer base, infra, commitment to privacy and open source, and it's current suite of products, I think a dedicated Proton Mind/Second Brain/Zettelkasten app could possibly KILL IT.
I think Proton has a significant opportunity here. Just the earned media from PKM, time management and productivity youtubers doing reviews and tutorials alone should be worth millions, lol. Possible tens of millions TBH.
What does everyone think about this? What does SN already have built in to facilitate this and what areas will it need more work to make this happen?

5 anos depois do dia 08/06/2019 venho escrever um texto sobre o falecimento do Andre, não precisei no dia fazer matéria ou vídeo ou qualquer material sobre o falecimento dele, fui privilegiado apenas a sentir a dor de perder uma pessoa que influenciou imensamente a minha vida de muitas maneiras.
Para refletir o impacto do falecimento do Andre é necessário voltar há 5 anos atrás, em um sábado onde as memórias se mantém frescas, os primeiros burburinhos de que algo estava errado veio em uma postagem escrita e logo apagada nas redes sociais pela Patrícia Perisionotto, esposa do Andreas Kisser, talvez um desengano, desencontro, algo a ser confirmado com alguém que poderia ser próximo ao Andre, e assim fiz contato com um amigo que teria a informação precisa, após uma mensagem indagando a resposta simples veio logo em seguida e revelou tudo: "seja forte". Algum tempo depois as redes sociais começaram a pipocar notas, notícias, tributos de todos os tipos, li cada um com afeto, de amigos próximos ao Andre, companheiros de banda, ex parceiros, desafetos, todos de alguma forma sentiram o golpe e o impacto no heavy metal de proporções não vistas. Depois disso, pensaria que talvez as coisas mudariam um pouco com o tempo, talvez o choque de perder um músico tão reconhecido corrigisse rotas dos músicos e bandas, mas o talvez não é uma certeza exatamente, não é mesmo?
Novas inimizades surgiram, a céu aberto em blogs ou redes sociais ou nas sombras, bandas entraram em polêmicas e algumas encerraram as atividades, mas entrando em pontos positivos novas bandas surgiram, lançaram materiais incríveis, bandas referência voltaram a lançar trabalhos relevantes, e os músicos brasileiros ganharam projeção, especialmente a competência de músicos como Eloy Casagrande, cujo início se deu na banda do Andre Matos, com apenas 16 anos de idade, mostrando que mesmo ao baque e a tragédia o metal continuou tentando se manter forte.
Já eu faço meu ritual todos os anos na mesma data de ouvir as músicas do Andre, assim como você leitor que se importe com esse dia deva ter o seu, mantendo o legado do Andre vivo e ele em suas memórias, a partir de um dia triste de 08/06/2019.

Al principio me llamó la atención la temporada de la ola pues generalmente el peak es en Agosto. Pero veo que el año pasado la epidemia ocurrió en las mismas fechas aunque dominada por el H1N1. No recuerdo sin embargo que hubiera tanta gente enferma. Que esta pasando?
El bicho de la influenza es complicado. Sufre de mutaciones bastante aleatorias lo que hace que a veces se salte la inmunidad previa. En general se estudian los bichos circulantes en distintos países y se hace una recomendación en base a distintos modelos que debiera contener la vacuna para la temporada siguiente. Aquí hay dos artículos muy informativos sobre el virus y los esfuerzos para producir vacunas diferentes.

Como nota aparte este debiera ser el primer año en donde se aplica una vacuna trivalente en vez de cuatrivalente pues una cepa (Influenza B/Yamagata) desapareció durante la Pandemia del COVID19. Pero la Influenza B no provoca epidemias grandes, solo la Influenza A.
Busque hasta que me aburrí si es que se ha detectado alguna mutación que disminuyera la inmunidad previa o reciente al virus circulante. Nada todavía. Los estudios de la CDC gringa muestran buena neutralización:
