Hi all,
I've booked my car (2nd generation Suzuki Swift) in for an inspection on the air-con unit, as it's leaked all of its refrigerant gas within 6 months after having it re-gassed about 9 months ago, only a few months after buying it.
I'm fairly certain that it is most likely a cracked air-con pipe, which doesn't look like an expensive part but from what I've been told, the pipe can be hard to get to.
This is my first car that I've had a repeated leak on so not something I've come across before.
I'm aware it's hard to get a price without seeing the car first and diagnosing the problem properly, as well as varying labour costs, but what would be a reasonable range of cost to expect (in the UK)?
Also, are there any other potential causes of repeated leaks aside from a cracked pipe?

I M23 recently got matched with a girl F21. It was a weird profile but curiosity got the better of me. Since girls make the first move on Bumble she started the conversation with a "Hi" followed by a "Supp". Not sure how this could be a great conversation starter but I tried to initiate a conversation by checking her profile for her interests and BAM. We ended up talking about movies. In a great momentum of flirtatious conversation, I asked her out for a movie and she was astonished. But it backfired, Remember how you see some profiles with multiple people and assume one of them is the owner but look at some signs. That's where I made a mistake. I assumed the girl taking selfies in most of the pictures was the one using the profile. She asked me if I knew which one of the girls she was in the pics and I swiftly responded by mentioning the one taking the selfies. WRONG ANSWER!
She started being mysterious leading me to guess who she was and it went on for a while. Somehow we got to a point where I gave her my number and she called me, I wasn't able to pick up cause I had to go somewhere so I simply asked her to that I would be calling later on. Now, I am a tech guy, and somehow I got her details using her number, simply her profile picture, profession, vague address(Area), and more.
Well, I played along for a while cause we were having the same discussion about professions and stuff once we were on a call, and guess what we started playing an MCQ game and I guessed all the answers correctly (Cause I knew 🤷♂️). But it creeped me out because, on the first call, she demanded some attention, not directly but you get the idea when conversing. I do WFH and sleep late most of the time. Before she went to sleep she called me again before midnight, and I didn't want to take any immediate steps so I talked to her for a few minutes and got out of it.
The following day I didn't text since I wanted it to settle down automatically and till evening everything seemed fine. But then she video-called me again and I avoided the call. I don't like to ghost since I feel it's rude. The second option was the send her a text to clear things out but I was not sure what to say. I talked to one of my friends and he advised me to simply tell her what I assumed and how it's making me feel weird and that is what I did.
The text I sent her:
Hey I hope you are doing well I have been thinking about mentioning this since yesterday when we matched on Bumble I was under the assumption that your friend owned the profile i.e. my first guess. I found her cute. I am finding it weird to talk, cause of the way I assumed things previously. So I am not sure if I can move forward. Though I enjoyed the conversation and the vibe, I wish you the best moving forward. Thank you
Her response:
Okay Sorry for everything No issues Nice to meet u
Final Outcome: She blocked me immediately and unmatched me on the App 🤷♂️ (PS. I am okay with that)
Not sure if my response hurt her, offended her, or gave her a reality check but I am glad that I came out of this situation clean and square.
From my perspective, I swiped right based on the assumption I made that went wrong (I found the girl I assumed cute). Also, I noticed that in every picture she posted she was on the side and even partially trimmed in some. So initially it was nearly impossible for me to guess who she was. And why do I even need to play Russian Roulette on a dating app. Now some of you might wonder the reason I didn't want to move forward with her since at the end of the day she is a girl. Simply saying it felt like I was catfished by the way her dating profile was set and also she didn't seem very enthusiastic about her fitness (Not body shaming)...

I am looking to purchase broken and/or non-working Nintendo handheld consoles from GameBoy to Switch and everything in between. Potentially also interested in broken home consoles, mostly N64 and Gamecube, but I'm open to seeing what you've got!
I am also looking to purchase an OEM battery for the 3DS XL or New 3DS XL system (battery model SPR-003). The battery must be for those consoles, not for the New 3DS or the 2DS systems. Preferably looking for someone who snagged one off of the Nintendo website before they were sold out, but I will also consider a battery pulled from a console so long as it is working.

Hi, my mom owns a 2019 Suzuki Swift. Last year the AC system started emitting unpleasant smells when turned on, so she went to a mechanic and he changed the cabin filter and ozonated the inside of the car. During that visit he gave my mom two advices - to turn off the AC around 5 minutes before stopping the car to decrease mold growth (could you also tell me if you should really do that bc it sounds like bullshit) and to get the refrigerant refilled before the following season bc it may be running low and using the AC with low level of the refrigerant will destroy the compressor. So this year came and she followed the advice and took the car to another mechanic and he told her that her car runs on a new-generation refirgerant (R1234yf) and that if she wants to refill the AC system with it she needs to go to another shop since they don't have it and it's going to be expensive, but he told my mom that he can drain the new refrigerant from the system and fill it with the old one. So here my question is - can the refrigerant be already leaking from a 5-year-old car and if yes, can an AC system designed to work with the new refrigerant run on an older generation one?

Hey guys,
I bought a demo Suzuki Swift GL 2023 build, this is my first car, and I have been trying to keep it in good condition since I purchased it this March. Yesterday while washing, I noticed some rust around the sway bar bushing, it looks like it is on the bolt. I am a little anxious about this.
Is it something normal and expected? Should I be concerned?
The car recently went for first 1000k service.

 | Car Is a 2019 Suzuki swift Boosterjet. Since basically day one, if the car sat for a couple days, especially under the rain, the rear brakes would get "stuck", and as you can see and hear in the video, they creak for a Moment as i release the clutch before popping free. As It was my first car i thought this might have been normal, and to this day It hasnt caused any concern. Trijicon TA33 & Holosun 407c X2 $950 shipped, OBO SOLD
- 3x30 Magnification. Great balance of weight, field of view, and eye relief.
- Green crosshair, .308 reticle. Green version of TA33-C-400376. Worked great on a 16" 5.56 w/ 55g rounds
- Tritium was replaced by Trijicon in April of this year.
- Lenses are flawless, no scuffs or scratches (including holosun lens)
- ACOG has very minor surface rubbing, nothing breaking the finish, 9.5/10 condition.
- Holosun has minor wear to back side, no affect on performance, 9/10 condition.
- Comes with American Defense QD, piggyback mount, Tenebraex killflash, hardcase, lens pen, neoprene cover, and manual
- Will part out if I have a confirmed buyer for all components. Will post as a part out later this week if no takers.
- Size large
- Year 2020 production
- NIJ certified
- Worn only outside once. Some light glittering as a result. I got most of it off with a damp wash cloth. Only LARPed in the house outside of that.
- One elastic strap is showing a little waffling (see pictures). But functionally 10/10.
- Dark colors on armor insert photo is the inspection numbers on the inner layer, not stains.
- At a 35" midsection (measured around the navel) and I have side overlap on the armor. If you were any bigger around the middle, you might get some gap.
- No sales/shipping to New York or municipalities that ban body armor.
- Fits the vest, but is off center due to an off number of MOLLE rows
- Great adapter for Haley or Spiritus rigs.
- Very little use, in great condition.
