As a product reviewer, I've had the pleasure of trying out the Stanley 24 oz. Quick Flip Go Water Bottle in the Tigerlily color. This water bottle has become a staple in my daily routine.
The first thing that caught my eye was its sleek design – perfect for carrying on the go. The double-wall vacuum insulation is a real game-changer. Whether I'm sipping on iced water in the summer or a hot cup of tea in the winter, the temperature remains consistent for hours.
One feature I particularly appreciate is the trigger-action lid. It's easy to use and helps prevent spills, making it great for when I'm on the move. Plus, the fact that it's dishwasher safe is a lifesaver. No more scrubbing by hand!
However, there are a couple of downsides. Firstly, the weight of the bottle can be a bit of a struggle for those who prefer a lighter option. Secondly, the dimensions might not fit all car cup holders, which can be a hassle during road trips.
Overall, the Stanley Quick Flip Go Water Bottle has been a reliable companion in my everyday life. Its combination of style, functionality, and durability make it a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable water bottle.

🔗Cold Steel Heavy Duty Nylon Cane with Rubber Ferrule

https://preview.redd.it/v48i5gn34r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64aac772c9910fa7f43dc2f916fb8b53b380e7fc
I've been using the Cold Steel Heavy Duty Cane in my daily life, and it has proven to be quite the companion. The nylon handle provides an enhanced grip that makes it convenient to hold, while the steel construction ensures structural strength for long-term use. I particularly appreciate the rubber ferrule, which is designed to be slip-resistant, making it an excellent choice for uneven terrain or icy sidewalks.
One downside is that it might be a bit heavy for some people, especially those who don't need the extra weight for support. However, the overall design and engineering of the cane are top-notch, and it gives me a sense of reassurance knowing I have a sturdy and reliable walking staff whenever I need it.

🔗Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel: Robust, Stainless Steel Outdoor Essential

https://preview.redd.it/onud1it34r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=19aa78d8c58949aae696362f44a26b21b9da0dca
This past summer, I found myself on a weekend camping trip and realized I didn't pack a shovel. I needed to dig a small trench around my campsite to divert water. Luckily, a friend had a Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel that he let me borrow. On the first day, he taught me how to use it. The edge was sharp, and the handle felt sturdy. I was surprised by how strong it was. I struggled a bit at first, but it didn't take long before I was able to dig the trench.
After returning from the camping trip and reflecting on the weekend, I realized that the shovel had some flaws. Firstly, it was a bit heavy for a camping trip, and I felt it could cause strain on my back over time. Secondly, it didn't come with a sheath, which was inconvenient since I had to keep it in my vehicle's trunk, where it took up too much space.
Despite these issues, I still appreciated the durability of the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel. It was clear that it was designed for heavy-duty tasks. The edge remained sharp even after I used it heavily. The wooden handle felt comfortable to hold, even though it was a bit on the thick side.
Overall, the Cold Steel Special Forces Shovel was a functional tool, but it could be improved for camping trips or situations where portability is a priority.

🔗Cold Steel Smatchet: Deluxe Edition for Playstation 5

https://preview.redd.it/duzypj644r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4feb4a7502a34a0974f6539f3524c5dc9b0652ab
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed diving into the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and IV, let me share my experience with this dynamic duo. The deluxe edition for Playstation 5 was a refreshing return to the rich world of Erebonia, where war hero Rean Schwarzer began his new life as an instructor at Thors Military Academy's branch campus.
What stood out to me was how the game expertly handled the aftermath of the Erebonian Civil War and introduced new threats to keep the story alive. Delving into it with the improved RPG gameplay on PlayStation 5 made my journey even more immersive. Plus, the cosmetic DLC available with these iterations ensured that every member of my party was looking their best, adding a unique touch to the experience.
However, like any other game, it wasn't all smooth sailing. There were moments that were a bit challenging, but overall, the Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and IV truly delivered an engaging experience that I thoroughly enjoyed as a fan of the genre.

🔗Heavy Duty Cold Grease Remover for Effortless Cleaning

As a home cook who's always experimenting with new recipes and kitchen tools, I've found myself in a bit of a pickle when it comes to removing stubborn grease from my appliances. That's why I was thrilled to try the Shumanit Cold Grease Remover.
Right off the bat, I found it remarkable how quickly this cold grease remover works. No need for a heat source or any harsh chemicals. In fact, it's effective on all sorts of surfaces - my oven, pots, frying pans, baking trays, stainless steel dishes, cooking surfaces, steam extractors, and even hard-to-clean vents.
I've had my fair share of leaky packages in the past, but the Shumanit Cold Grease Remover was surprisingly well-packed. It comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a trigger spray that's easy to use.
The product has a delightful citrus smell that lifts the spirits while I'm getting my hands dirty in the kitchen. Plus, the grease and grime just seem to vanish as if by magic.
However, there's one small downside to my Shumanit experience. On one occasion, the package was partially leaking, which made me worry about the condition of the other products in the batch. I just hope it was a one-time issue and not a trend.
To sum up, the Shumanit Cold Grease Remover is a truly versatile and effective grease and grime remover. It's a lifesaver for anyone who values a sparkling clean kitchen. Let's just hope the packaging improves in the future.

🔗Insulated Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle: Perfect for Outdoor Adventures

The Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle is a versatile and durable companion for any outdoor excursion. It's been a part of my camping adventures for years, ensuring that my beverages stay the perfect temperature no matter the weather.
The thick stainless steel walls not only keep my iced drinks cold for two days but also keep my hot beverages warm for up to two weeks. Plus, the leak-proof lid doubles as a cup, providing a convenient and easy-to-use option for sipping on the go.
The 2.5-quart capacity is ideal for sharing drinks with friends or keeping a large quantity of your favorite beverage at the ready. I've washed my Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle in the dishwasher without any concerns about rust or BPA exposure, and it continues to perform as well as it did on day one.
Overall, the Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle has become an essential part of my outdoor gear, and I can't imagine spending time in nature without it.

🔗Stanley Vacuum Insulated 1.5qt Bottle: Leakproof and Durable for Any Adventure

https://preview.redd.it/hv1cfgh54r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92c3e83a1e6ed9bde65bd49c95962c0425bd9025

For my outdoor adventures, the Stanley Legendary Classic Bottle 1.5qt Habitat has truly been a game-changer. This insulated beverage container ensures my drinks remain at the perfect temperature for hours on end, whether I'm savoring a hot cup of coffee on a chilly morning or enjoying an icy beverage on a sweltering day.
One of my favorite features is the stainless steel construction, which not only makes the bottle sturdy and durable but also ensures it's free of BPA, a nice touch for any health-conscious individual. The double-wall vacuum insulation, another key highlight, works wonders in keeping my beverages at their desired temperatures, even in extreme conditions.
However, I found that the bottle can be quite difficult to clean, especially along the insulated areas. Additionally, the screw cap lid, while functional, can be a bit tricky to twist off after a while, depending on the grip strength. These minor inconveniences aside, the Stanley Legendary Classic Bottle has proven to be an indispensable companion on all my outdoor excursions.

🔗Versatile Cold Welding Formula for Robust Bonds

https://preview.redd.it/4ogfz5u54r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4866a573a4c06607a53a48abca3bb57ecd3aa95
Recently, I got my hands on the J-B Weld Original Cold-Weld Formula Steel Reinforced Epoxy. I was intrigued by the fact that it could serve as an inexpensive alternative to welding, soldering, and brazing. To my surprise, this versatile epoxy proved to be a game-changer in my daily life.
One of the most impressive features of the J-B Weld epoxy is its water-resistant nature. I used it to seal a leak in my water pipe, and it worked like a charm. The epoxy's petroleum and chemical resistance made it perfect for my project, as it withstood various tests without any damage.
Another standout feature of this product is its non-toxic and safe-to-use nature. I used it to fix my child's broken toy, and its safety made me feel more comfortable.
However, I did notice that the mixing ratio of the epoxy is quite sensitive. One must be cautious not to deviate too far from the 1-1 ratio of liquid steel/epoxy resin and the hardener. A slight miscalculation could result in a weaker bond or the need for reapplication.
In conclusion, the J-B Weld Original Cold-Weld Formula Steel Reinforced Epoxy is a must-have for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike. Its ease of use, remarkable strength, and versatility make it a standout product in its category. Despite the minor drawback of the mixing ratio, the benefits far outweigh the inconvenience.

🔗Insulated Bottle for Long-Lasting Beverages

https://preview.redd.it/hjiqws764r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=778b7036f610f7931a5d1bf47b1544b1da25f09e
I recently put the Stanley Classic to the test on an outing to the mountains. This bottle is a true companion for outdoor enthusiasts, with its impressive 18/8 stainless steel construction and BPA-free design. The 1.5 quart capacity means it can handle all types of drinks, from hot coffee to icy coolers, and keep them at the optimal temperature for up to two days. The folding handle is a clever added feature that allows for easy carrying without the risk of it rolling away.
One of the standout features of this bottle is its leakproof design, making it a reliable option for packing in a backpack or storing in a truck bed. The wide mouth also makes it easy to fill and clean, which is especially helpful for those who enjoy making their own homemade brews. However, I did notice that the bottle is quite heavy, weighing in at 2 pounds, making it more challenging to carry for longer periods of time.
Overall, the Stanley Classic is an excellent investment for those who love spending time outdoors and need a reliable companion to keep their drinks at the perfect temperature.

🔗Portable Insulated Water Bottle with Silicone Straw

https://preview.redd.it/l5lg54i64r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e07172bcc88a069950d96dd4cfb862f209f40f40
I recently had the chance to put the Cooper Stainless Steel Water Bottle to the test, and I have to say, it impressed me with its performance. The most standout feature of this water bottle is its ability to keep drinks cold for an impressive amount of time. I often struggle to find a water bottle that can truly keep my beverage chilled all day long, but this one did just that. The double-walled and vacuum insulated design does an excellent job of maintaining the temperature of the liquid inside.
Another feature I appreciated is the leak-proof lid. No matter how rough I was with it, it never leaked once. The one-touch silicone push button locking mechanism helped keep my bag and clothes dry, while the straw was a fun and convenient addition. Cleaning it was also a breeze, thanks to the top rack dishwasher safe lids and BPA-free materials.
However, I did experience a downside with the product - it isn't suitable for hot beverages. If you're someone who prefers drinking tea or coffee, this may not be the best option for you. Additionally, I found it slightly difficult to fit the bottle in my usual cup holders, which can be inconvenient during travel or at the gym.
Overall, the Cooper Stainless Steel Water Bottle did an incredible job of keeping my drinks cold and providing a leak-proof, easy-to-clean design. Although there were minor drawbacks, I still enjoyed its benefits and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish water bottle.

🔗Stanley 1.1 Qt. Legendary Classic Canteen - BPA-Free Stainless Steel

https://preview.redd.it/fva5u8074r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=021a8e122aa23b47e0dbf977a9a0b77939f8066e
I recently had the chance to try out the Stanley 1.1 Qt. Classic Canteen, a 18/8 stainless steel bottle that promises to be leakproof, packable, and perfect for outdoor use. At first glance, the canteen looks sleek and sturdy, with a classic design that makes it easy to hold and carry around. It comes equipped with a removeable carrying strap that keeps your hands free and adds a touch of style to the canteen.
One of the standout features of this canteen is its non-insulated stainless steel material, which allows for easy packing while still offering a decent capacity for your favorite beverage. However, I found that the lack of insulation means that the canteen doesn't retain temperature as well as I would have liked. While it's fine for day-to-day use, it's not ideal for taking on long hikes or camping trips where maintaining the temperature of your drink is important.
Another downside to the canteen is the attached cap, which can be a bit tricky to open and close, especially with one hand. Though I appreciate the convenience of having it attached, it would be nice if the cap were more user-friendly and easy to access. Additionally, the metal clips on the carrying strap can be quite loud when walking or hiking, which can be a bit distracting and might not be the most discreet choice for stealthily navigating through the wilderness.
Despite these minor drawbacks, overall I found the Stanley 1.1 Qt. Classic Canteen to be a functional and stylish option for everyday use. It's a good choice if you're looking for a versatile water bottle that won't break the bank, but just remember to manage your expectations when it comes to insulation and noise.

🔗Corkcicle 32oz Sport Canteen: Triple-Insulated, Wide-Mouth Drink Container with Quick Sip Lid

https://preview.redd.it/g8jdgja74r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5900642083119fc5f56b1e9d8f8477efab04f303
The Corkcicle 32oz Sport Canteen boasts a spacious 950mL capacity, perfect for hydration while on the go. Its quick sip lid adds convenience to everyday use, and the signature flat sides and Duraprene finish ensure a secure grip.
Triple-insulation maintains drinks at their desired temperature for extended periods, making it an ideal choice for both hot and chilled beverages alike. A wide mouth allows for ice cube insertion, while the lid's easy-to-use one-hand opening adds practicality.
Regrettably, some users have experienced issues with the lid's functionality and structure, which may prove a disadvantage for those seeking a seamless drinking experience. Nonetheless, for those seeking a durable, stylish, and functional water bottle, the Corkcicle 32oz Sport Canteen offers an impressive range of features.

🔗Versatile Insulated Water Bottle with Cup Lid

https://preview.redd.it/ba7lnum74r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4236dde9fc2a1109edb6d8a02ff4d627c9fb186e
This Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle, aptly named "Nightfall, " has become an essential companion in my daily life. The bottle's robustness and dependability have captivated me, as my newfound favorite keeps the brew piping hot during those frigid mornings or even chills your favorite beverage during scorching summer days.
One of the key features that have blown my mind is its innovative, leak-proof design. By using the twist-and-pour stopper, it ensures that my adventures are safe from any accidental mishaps involving the bottle. Moreover, the slim design makes it the perfect single-handed companion, ensuring a comfortable grip.
However, there are a couple of minor nits. The lid being insulated and doubling as a cup is a fantastic idea, but I found it a tad more tedious than convenient during my first few times. Additionally, while the bottle's sturdiness won my heart, it unfortunately lacks a wider mouth, which might make it a bit more practical for my soup-loving, chunky ingredients cravings.
The Stanley's performance has made me believe it's not just about the product but also about the spirit of adventure it represents - one sip at a time. Despite a few minor quirks, it's a reliable bottle worth every penny spent.

🔗Corkcicle Star Wars Darth Vader Canteen: Sleek and Stylish Insulated Travel Drink Bottle

https://preview.redd.it/xxibmox74r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6584f5a3f92b026e1f6c93d8578b4827c47490b6
Crafted in the image of the infamous Darth Vader, this Corkcicle Star Wars canteen is not just a stylish way to keep your drinks cool. The 16-ounce canteen promises to keep beverages cold for up to 25 hours or warm for 12, all thanks to its triple-insulated lining. Its stainless steel construction ensures it's not just durable but also perfect to use in any setting, be it by the pool or at the office. The canteen is equipped with a screw-on cap that prevents any liquid from escaping and keeps the temperature consistent inside. The ergonomic design and flat sides make it easy to grip, and its stay-put silicone base ensures it stays securely in your hand, avoiding any spills.
My experience with this canteen has been nothing but stellar. The Star Wars design is not just aesthetically pleasing but also adds a fun touch to my everyday life. The triple-insulation keeps my beverages at their desired temperature for longer, especially during our hot summers. The cap is a great feature that prevents leaks and spills, and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold. However, I wish the product was dishwasher safe as the paint tends to peel off after a few uses, which can be a bit disappointing.

🔗Premium High-Performance Goalie Blades for Enhanced Ice Skating

https://preview.redd.it/v6nom9a84r1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=47b008d8785f16fed2eb4304d81b2404921a0708
I recently tried the Step Steel St Goal Blacksteel CCM Replacement Steel - Pair, and I was blown away by its performance. The superior edge quality is evident as it slices through the ice with minimal resistance, providing sharp, fluid movements that make it a game-changer for any goalie.
Designed specifically for CCM 2-Bolt Goalie Cowlings, this complete set comes with both left and right runners, ensuring perfect fit and seamless functionality. Made in Canada, the high-quality craftsmanship is evident in every aspect of the blade, from its sleek design to its exceptional edge durability.
While the hardest possible edge offered by Step Steel Black is undoubtedly impressive, I also appreciate the added Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating on the mirror side finish, which significantly boosts blade performance by generating a winning combination of low friction and high surface hardness.
What sets Step Steel apart from other blade manufacturers is their innovative aspect ratio, which accelerates pushes across the crease for modern butterfly and hybrid goaltenders. The taller blades and truer profile offer added stability, precision, and width, ensuring less bending or improper sizing upon receiving the product.
Overall, the Step Steel St Goal Blacksteel CCM Replacement Steel - Pair is a game-changing product that combines superior edge quality, innovative design, and unrivaled performance. If you're looking to enhance your goaltending experience, look no further than Step Steel.

What is the difference between a Cold Steel Smatchet and a Katana?

A Cold Steel Smatchet and a Katana are both types of swords, but they differ in terms of design and structure. A Smatchet is a short, stout blade with a long handle, making it well-suited for close combat. A Katana, on the other hand, is a longer, thinner blade with a more slender handle, designed for slashing rather than thrusting.

How do I maintain my Cold Steel Smatchet?

To maintain your Cold Steel Smatchet, make sure to clean it after use and store it in a dry, cool place. Regularly oil the blade and handle to prevent rust and keep the components in good condition. It is also recommended to sharpen the blade periodically using a sharpening stone.

Do Cold Steel Smatchets come with a warranty?

Yes, Cold Steel offers a limited lifetime warranty on the materials and craftsmanship of their Smatchets. However, this warranty does not cover accidental damage or normal wear and tear.

What is the return policy for Cold Steel Smatchets?

Cold Steel has a 30-day return policy for their Smatchets. The product must be in its original, unopened packaging, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

2024.05.21 10:37 ACA_Covenant Progress Report 20: Technology Part II

Hello everyone, Covenant, Wei, and Duodex here to go over the rest of our technology changes in this new Progress Report. We will go over the rest of the completed changes in each part of our tech trees and doctrines. There are some uncompleted sections that will be finished in a future version, but this will not have any impact on the gameplay. We will start by covering the small changes to trees already covered in Part 1 or trees that are very similar to vanilla.
The Infantry Tech Tree:
The infantry tree has one relatively major change since the last PR. We have decided that Mechanized equipment and Amtracs should be included in the infantry tree. Originally they were going to be in the tank tree back when we were considering making an NSB equivalent for the tanks but with the choice to only do base game tanks it made more sense to include the Mechanized in the infantry tree instead.
The Air Tech Tree:
The air tree has one small change since the last PR, we have moved scouts to be connected to air interceptors instead of as a subtech. Due to scout planes only being available with the La Resistance DLC we needed to add an alternate tech for players who didn't own LaR but this proved impossible in the old implementation. Instead we have attached them to the tree.
The Artillery Tech Tree:
The Artillery Tech tree is an expansion of the vanilla tree. This choice was made not out of laziness but because artillery, conventional anti-tank, and conventional anti-air guns did not develop that much between 1948-1964 OTL. With that in mind the Kalterkrieg artillery tree will be an extension/light modification of the vanilla tree to fit the timeline and that's it. Missile-based anti-air and anti-tank weapons are in the missiles tech tree instead of this one to not over complicate/confuse everything.
Electro-Mechanical Engineering Tree:
Much like the artillery tree the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Tree (or Electronics in game) will effectively be a time shifted version of the vanilla tree with one small change. The growing importance of aircraft and air warfare made us consider adding a tech related to air-traffic control as post-ww2 there were a number of developments in this field that came with the improvements in radio and radar technologies. The 1946, 1952, 1956, and 1960 radar technologies will have a technology connected to each named Air Control (4 in total) that will improve stats such as mission efficiency, accident chance and bad weather penalty.
There is also the rocketry tree that is on the right of the side. The original plan was to incorporate a space race mechanic to the later rocketry techs but instead of developing a half-assed mechanic or delaying release to finish it we have decided to leave it to the future. The early techs do however improve rocket artillery and are required to unlock the first missiles tech (much like vanilla).
Now let's cover tech that is quite different from vanilla…
Armour Tree:
The armour tree is not an extension of vanilla in any way and has two branches in it, Light Armour and Main Battle Tanks. The tanks in each also have subtechs to represent variants of these tanks with the light tanks having amphibious tanks as a subtech and the MBT’s have a subtech for Self-Propelled Anti-air and Self-Propelled Artillery. There are also a number of intermediate upgrade techs that improve certain stats.
There are 4 light tank models researchable, a 1945, 1948, 1952, and a 1960 model with each having an amphibious tank subtech. In between tank 2 and 3 and 4 there are gun and speed upgrades which improve soft attack and speed respectively.
For Main Battle tanks there are 3 models, (though the first model is considered a medium tank) a 1945, 1948 and 1960 model. Between 1948 and 1960 there are 2 upgrades for armor, gun and chassis as well as a general upgrade. The general upgrade is required before the 1960 model can be researched and the general upgrade requires at least both of one upgrade line be researched. Each MBT model has subtechs for SPAA and SPA/SPG which benefit from the upgrade techs.
Some of you may be wondering why there are no heavy tanks or tank destroyers. I assure you this was not a mistake but a conscious choice. We decided that both lost their use post-war and it would be useful to add each to the tech tree. While some heavy tanks were developed by the allied powers post WW2 they were very quickly made obsolete in favour of Main Battle Tanks. The same thing happened with Tank destroyers though they were also hampered by the creation of improved anti-tank weapons like RPGs.
Industry Tree:
While the industry tree is inspired by vanilla some explanation is required due to some effects used in the tree. There are 4 branches to the industry tree, Construction, Industry, Resources, and Oil.
The construction branch is simple. There are 4 techs that improve construction speed with 3 mutually exclusive choices in-between. The choice you make is between improving the land cultivation in a state or receiving improving the civilian economy in a random owned state. Due to some limitation with the engine the location of the factory is only shown in the hover tooltip and not the research effect window.
The production branch has 4 techs that improve efficiency and 3 pairs of techs that improve dockyard and factory output. The dockyard and factory techs are not mutually exclusive (though I don't recommend researching it if you are a landlocked nation).
The resources branch has 4 techs that extraction and in-between them are 3 sets of techs that add steel, chromium, tungsten or aluminium if certain conditions are met. You will gain 5% production of the specific resource in each state that produces 20 or more of said resource. Due to the aforementioned engine issue the states that gain extra resources are only available by hovering over the tech.
The Oil branch is simple, it has 4 techs that each improve how much fuel is gained from oil and refineries.
Missiles Tree:
Missiles are obviously an important part of any Cold War mod and as such that has earnt them their own tree. There are 3 (technically 4 but the 4th is smaller) branches to the missile tree, ballistic missiles, surface-to-air missiles, air-to-air missiles, and anti-tank missiles. Ballistic and SAMs require the basic guided missiles (like from vanilla to be researched).
Ballistic missiles and SAMs both have basic and improved tech as well as an intermediate upgrade. Ballistic missiles use the vanilla mechanic for missiles while SAM equipment are used for a SAM support battalion. The reason neither has a unique mechanic (yet) is that we felt that having a half-finished or buggy to use mechanic would be more frustrating than just using vanilla. Ballistic missiles also have 2 subtechs, cruise missiles which right now just increase the strategic bombing strength of ballistic missiles but I hope in future to add cruise missiles (this is yet another limitation created by Paradox where we can’t make unique versions of rocket sites). Ballistics and SAMs also share a subtech that is ship-based missiles that add both anti-ship and ship-based SAM equipment modules.
The air-to-air branch has 3 techs that each improve air attack. As we have chosen not to make a BBA version of the air tree (I, Covenant do not want to deal with balancing BBA planes and NSB tanks so that's why. I also just don't like it in general) the air-to-air techs just add general improvements to attack. There are also 2 IR (infra-red) air-to-air missile techs that improve night attack. These require the research of 2 IR experimentation techs that improve other stats.
Lastly the anti-tank missiles branch has a pre-req tech, optical guidance that you need to research to unlock anti-tank gun 3 which you need to unlock basic anti-tank missiles. Our justification for this is that anti-tank missiles only started to become viable after 1960 which is outside the mod timeframe.
Secret Weapons Tree:
The secret weapons tree is our least complete tree and we will explain why but first the branches. There are 3 branches, atomic weapons, biological warfare, and flamethrowers. Currently the atomic weapons branch has only some techs working, biological warfare is unfinished whereas flamethrowers have actual effects.
The atomic weapons branch is currently, if effectively a retooling of the vanilla atomic techs. You must research basic atomic research, then atomic piles (which allows the building of reactors), then bomb research (which adds research speed), then finally the atomic bomb actually unlocks nukes. The other atomic techs do not do anything but we plan on working on custom nuclear mechanics after release.
The flamethrowers branch has 4 techs, each improves the soft-attack of all infantry and motorized units but it also has a negative impact. Whenever a nation researches flamethrowers that nation gains a -20 opinion modifier with every other nation on earth. This is to illustrate that since the end of the war (and its rampant usage by Russia and Japan) the world now sees flamethrowers as cruel weapons and a war-crime. As such any nation who is seen to be improving their flamethrowers is viewed negatively. Nations that start with flamethrowers will not have this opinion modifier though. We plan to do something similar for biological weapons research.
Land Doctrines:
For our land doctrines we decided to have 4 choices for land doctrines, those being combined operations, maneuver warfare, deep battle and asymmetrical warfare. Instead of covering every element of these doctrines, which would take forever I will give an overview of what each doctrine entails and tease a few of the bonus each gives.
Combined operations encompass the intricate orchestration of diverse military elements, pooling resources and expertise across multiple branches or services of a nation's armed forces, alongside potential collaboration with allied forces. This synergy fosters a unified approach towards achieving strategic objectives, leveraging the unique strengths of each component to enhance operational effectiveness on land, at sea, and in the air.
Maneuver warfare epitomizes a dynamic military strategy characterized by fluidity, agility, and rapidity in troop movements. It emphasizes exploiting enemy vulnerabilities, disrupting their cohesion, and seizing advantageous positions, rather than relying solely on brute force or attrition. Through swift and decisive actions, maneuver warfare seeks to outmaneuver and outwit adversaries, capitalizing on the element of surprise to gain tactical superiority and achieve operational success.
Deep battle embodies a strategic doctrine aimed at penetrating deep into enemy territory to target their rear areas, lines of communication, and critical infrastructure. By striking at the heart of the opponent's logistical and organizational support systems, deep battle disrupts their ability to sustain military operations, eroding their resilience and weakening their overall combat effectiveness. This approach emphasizes the importance of coordinated and synchronized offensives across multiple fronts, enabling forces to exploit vulnerabilities and capitalize on fleeting opportunities.
Asymmetrical warfare signifies a paradigm shift in military engagement, where conventional power differentials are challenged by asymmetric tactics and unconventional strategies. In asymmetric conflicts, weaker forces often employ guerrilla warfare, insurgency, terrorism, or other irregular methods to undermine the strengths of more conventionally powerful adversaries. By leveraging innovation, adaptability, and asymmetry in tactics, asymmetrical warfare seeks to offset numerical or technological disadvantages, maximizing the impact of limited resources and achieving strategic objectives through asymmetric means.
Naval Doctrines:
Naval doctrines similarly also have 4 choices for doctrine. These are brown water navy, green water navy, blue water navy, and naval supremacy (with a shared escort related tree between the last two). I will do the same as army doctrine and explain each while teasing some effects.
Brown water navies primarily operate in inland or shallow coastal waters, focusing on riverine and littoral areas. Their vessels are typically smaller and more maneuverable, optimized for navigating rivers, estuaries, and other confined waterways where larger naval vessels may struggle to operate effectively. Brown water navies are often tasked with patrolling and securing waterborne trade routes, conducting riverine warfare, and supporting ground operations in coastal regions, playing a vital role in maintaining maritime security and stability in these environments.
Green water navies operate in the near-coastal zones and littoral regions of the open ocean, possessing the capability to project power and influence within a limited range from their home shores. These navies typically deploy a mix of surface combatants, submarines, and maritime patrol aircraft to safeguard territorial waters, protect maritime trade routes, and deter potential threats in their immediate maritime vicinity. While green water navies may lack the global reach of blue water navies, they play a crucial role in defending coastal territories and exerting maritime control over critical strategic areas.
Blue water navies are capable of operating across vast oceanic expanses and projecting power on a global scale. Equipped with aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers, and submarines, blue water navies possess the capability to conduct sustained naval operations far from their home bases, projecting force and protecting national interests worldwide. Blue water navies are essential for power projection, sea control, and maritime dominance, enabling nations to influence events in distant regions, respond to crises, and protect vital sea lanes of communication crucial for global trade and commerce.
Naval supremacy represents the pinnacle of maritime power projection, embodying unparalleled dominance and control over the world's oceans. Exemplified by nations like the United States during the Cold War and the Royal Navy from during Britain's Imperial Century, naval supremacy entails not only the capability to operate globally but also the unrivaled ability to dictate the terms of maritime engagement and shape international affairs through naval strength alone. Beyond the capabilities of a traditional blue water navy, a nation with naval supremacy commands an overwhelming advantage in both conventional and strategic terms, with a fleet comprising advanced aircraft carriers, stealthy submarines, state-of-the-art surface combatants, and comprehensive maritime surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. Such a navy not only safeguards vital sea lanes and strategic choke points but also projects influence across all maritime domains, ensuring unrivaled deterrence and the ability to decisively intervene in any maritime theater of operations. Naval supremacy confers not just military superiority but also significant diplomatic leverage, shaping the geopolitical landscape and underpinning a nation's status as a global maritime hegemon.
Air Doctrines:
For now we are using vanilla air doctrines. We understand this may be disappointing but none of us possessed enough knowledge of different cold war air doctrines to create something good enough. Air doctrines of the cold war is also not something that is documented in an easy to access and absorb place like the others so for now nothing is in place but we will endeavour to produce something post-release.
I hope you all enjoy messing around with the tech we have created for Kalterkreig. I am sure you will find weird and wonderful ways to break them and which equipment is meta and which is not.

The Nadex Coins Desktop Coin Sorter and Dispenser Organizer is a handy tool that has simplified my life. The transparent casing allows me to easily view the amount of coins I have stored, preventing me from losing or miscounting them. I appreciate that this organizer can hold over $40 in change, making it a perfect solution for keeping loose change within reach.
One of the most appealing features of this product is its simplicity. The spring loader makes dispensing coins easy and straightforward, while the individual denominations ensure that I always have the right change for any situation. The sturdy construction and smooth operation make this coin organizer a reliable tool to have around.
However, there is one downside: the organizer's size might be a bit too large for some users, especially for those looking for a more compact solution. But overall, the Nadex Coins Desktop Coin Sorter and Dispenser Organizer is a fantastic product that has made organizing my coins a breeze.

🔗Sophisticated Coin Sorter and Wrapper with Counting and Sorting Capabilities

https://preview.redd.it/725vjvp14q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4bcb62d129f5e452cdbd1286fddd0254e6cf051
It's a lifesaver when it comes to counting and sorting coins. Imagine sifting through piles of change, separating them by coin value, and wrapping them up so you can keep them organized - this coin sorter does all that and more. It's a business-grade machine that simplifies the process, saving time and energy.
I remember trying it out for the first time with a handful of coins, just to see how it worked. To my surprise, it did the job effortlessly – sorting and counting every single coin, even the smaller ones like pennies and nickels. Its ability to display how much of each coin type is being sorted and counted, along with the total value of the batch, made it even more impressive.
The coin tube attachments also came in handy, making it a cinch to fill pre-formed coin wrappers. And if that wasn't enough, the one-touch batch setting feature with auto-stop function ensured nothing got overfilled accidentally.
Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly device that's perfect for busy individuals or businesses in need of an efficient way to manage their coins.

🔗High-Speed Coin Counter & Sorter with Offsort Function

https://preview.redd.it/qkhvh0124q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6d5cd0ba0911289ee0a89710086bb37eb3851d18
I've been using the Semacon S-140 Coin Counter & Sorter for a while now and I must say, it's a game-changer. The ease of use is remarkable, with the user-friendly control panel allowing for quick settings of coin size. Its electric/electronic operation makes it a dream come true for those in need of high-speed counting and sorting.
The pushbutton control panel is a breeze to operate, providing the functions most often used by the operator. However, the coin sorting feature stands out the most, allowing me to count and optionally bag or package the largest coin while separating the smaller coins into a second bag or tray.
One downside is that it's only available in 110 volt or 220 volt, which could be limiting for some users. Nonetheless, its ability to process coins at ultra-high speeds yet remain quieter than many other coin counters is truly noteworthy.
Overall, the Semacon S-140 Coin Counter & Sorter has been a reliable and efficient addition to my daily routine, making coin counting and sorting a hassle-free task.

🔗Elegant 5 in 1 Wooden Coin Organizer for Change Storage

I've been using the KAEKAT 5 in 1 Coin Sorter and Counter, and I must say it has made my life so much easier when it comes to managing my loose change. This wooden coin holder is perfect for keeping your spare change organized, and it's pretty easy to use too.
One thing that stands out about this coin organizer is its versatility. Not only did it work great at home, but I also found it to be a lifesaver in the office. Say goodbye to loose change cluttering your desk because this coin holder is designed to keep it all neatly sorted.
But, one area where it could improve is in its capacity. With room for up to 460 coins, it might not be enough for people who save a lot of coins. And while its wooden finish is a classy touch, some might prefer a more straightforward design.
Still, overall, I'm quite happy with this little coin holder. It helps keep my change organized, and as a bonus, it adds a touch of class to any room.

🔗Manual Coin Sorter with 200 Coins Capacity

https://preview.redd.it/wbx4dfu24q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7dd8811201ba134e1eec81b85263e51b6e02a895
As someone who had long been on the hunt for an efficient way to sort through a massive collection of coinage, I recently stumbled upon the royal Sovereign QS-1 manual coin sorter. Its unique design and portability immediately caught my attention, but I had my doubts about its efficiency. After using it for a few days, I can confidently say that my initial reservations were unfounded.
The first thing I noticed about this manual sorter was its impressive speed. Within minutes, I had piles of coins properly sorted into their respective tubes. While I expected the occasional jam or misplacement, I was pleasantly surprised by how minimal those issues were. With consistent and careful handling, I found that I could easily avoid most jams and maintain a steady flow of coins towards my targeted tubes.
One impressive feature that stood out to me from the start was the hopper's capacity to hold up to 200 coins at once. This eliminated the need for constant refilling, allowing me to focus more on sorting and less on tedious tasks. Additionally, the preformed paper wrappers that accompany the coin tubes provide an added level of convenience when it comes to packaging and organizing my coin stash.
While using the royal Sovereign QS-1 manual coin sorter, I encountered a few challenges. Firstly, I noticed that the plastic coin tubes could benefit from clearer labeling when it comes to coin quantity per wrapper. This, in turn, would have made it easier for me to avoid overfilling certain tubes and ensure the proper weight and balance of each coin roll.
Another minor inconvenience was the occasional difficulty in removing coins that have gotten stuck in the tubes. However, with a bit of patience and the help of a small tool, I was able to resolve the issue and keep the sorter functioning at an optimal level.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of this manual coin sorter. Though it requires a bit of trial and error at first, it has proven to be a worthy investment for those looking to streamline the process of sorting and organizing their coin collections. With careful handling and attention to detail, the royal Sovereign QS-1 can successfully handle hundreds of coins with relative ease.

🔗Versatile Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray for Efficient Coin Sorting

https://preview.redd.it/p5unhs834q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e6c9d49e7ce97bee9dd1ffa805edbaec00d7478
Recently, I found myself in need of a coin handling tray to help me with my daily coin counting tasks. Being somewhat particular about how my coins are organized, I was on the lookout for something user-friendly, and that's when I came across the Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray Beige.
Once I started using it, I was pleased with how the tray had been designed to fit coins of all shapes and sizes, brand new or worn out after years of use. I appreciated how the tray allowed me to quickly insert and remove coins, helping me to maintain better order and speed up my coin wrapping process. The denominations marked on the tray made it easier for me to keep track of my coin totals, which was a big advantage, especially when dealing with large volumes of change.
However, one aspect of the tray that I felt could be improved was the staggered rows. While it did enable me to count more coins across the rows compared to similar products, I found that it had two separate rows for twenty-five cent coins, when it should have been a single row for fifty cents. As a result, I had to manually count to make sure I wasn't short-changing myself.
Despite this minor flaw, I still found the Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray Beige to be a useful addition to my coin handling routine. Its compact size, easy portability thanks to the included cover, and ability to clearly sort and count coins made it worth its place in my daily life.

🔗Rapid Electric Coin Sorter with Anti-Jam Technology

https://preview.redd.it/sd6hhgr34q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=930c8b83f661657b5c52052dca9551ff0a715e95
As someone who recently tried the Royal Sovereign One Row Electric Coin Sorter (CO-1000), I can say that it is a fast and convenient way to sort coins. The product's highlight, the 240-coin per minute speed, makes it a reliable and efficient option for anyone looking to manage their coins quickly.
What stood out to me the most was the coin hopper's capacity to hold up to 300 coins, allowing me to sort a large amount of coins at once without needing to replenish the hopper frequently. This feature made the process more manageable and time-saving for my needs.
However, there were some drawbacks to using this coin sorter. For starters, I experienced a coin jamming issue, which caused me to take the sorter apart and repair it. While the anti-jam technology claimed to prevent this, it seems that the issue was not entirely resolved, at least in my experience.
Additionally, I found it frustrating that the coins did not always fall into the designated coin tubes. Some foreign or oversized coins occasionally got stuck on the way to the wrappers, requiring manual intervention to clear them.
Despite these issues, I still believe that the Royal Sovereign One Row Electric Coin Sorter (CO-1000) is a useful product, especially for its price. If these drawbacks can be addressed, it could become a go-to option for those seeking an easy, automatic way to manage their coin collections.

🔗Royal Sovereign CO-1000N High-Speed Coin Sorter

https://preview.redd.it/u75cqw144q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=916154b152158c506e0bd17b323e44fb6f1fdc0e
As a reviewer, I've had the pleasure of using the Royal Sovereign CO-1000N Coin Sorter in my daily life. This nifty device has proven to be a game-changer when it comes to sorting my coins. With a capacity to hold up to 300 coins and sort them at a rate of 240 coins per minute, it's a real workhorse in my wallet.
One feature that truly stands out is its patented anti-jam technology, which ensures precise internal sorting so I don't have to worry about any mishaps during the coin-sorting process. I can easily pull out coin-filled wrappers and roll them up, thanks to the removable plastic coin tubes.
However, I did notice that it can be a bit loud sometimes, but that's a small price to pay for its functionality. Overall, the Royal Sovereign CO-1000N Coin Sorter is a convenient and efficient choice for anyone looking to sort their coins in a hurry.

🔗High-Speed Coin Sorter and Counter with LCD Display

As a busy business owner, I've found it challenging to count and sort all my coins efficiently, but this electronic USD Coin Sorter and Counter has been a game-changer. The machine is effortless to use: simply pour your coins into the hopper and press start to watch it work its magic.
It sorts and counts the coins swiftly, with the option to either use the included tubes for coin wrappers or bins, depending on my preference for that day. What makes it even more impressive is its ability to sort 270 coins per minute, eliminating any concern of getting behind on my daily cash transactions.
With the backlit LCD screen, not only do I have a clear count of all the denominations, but it also displays a total count, making it easy to keep track of my earnings. However, there is one downside: the instructions could be clearer on utilizing the coin wrapper holder, as it took me some trial and error to get it right.
Despite this minor issue, the overall convenience and efficiency of this Coin Sorter make it a valuable investment for any business in need of sorting and counting their US coins.

🔗Easy-to-Use Coin Sorter with Color-Coded Tubes

Recently, I tried out the Coin Counters & Coin Sorters Tubes Bundle of 4 Color-Coded Coin Tubes and 100 Assorted Coin Wrappers. It's a nifty little gadget that I couldn't resist trying out, especially since I always have a lot of coins lying around the house. The tubes are color-coded, making it super easy to differentiate between pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
One of the things I really liked about this product was how easy it was to use. All I needed to do was insert the coin rolls into the tubes, drop the coins in, invert the tube, and voila - the coins were counted, and I could seal them up. It was a quick and painless process, and I enjoyed using it.
However, there was one downside to this product that I did notice. While the tubes worked well for pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, I found that the penny tube required a few extra pennies to reach the level required. This might not be a deal-breaker for some, but it was something I noticed during my testing.
Overall, I'd say that this Coin Counters & Coin Sorters Tubes Bundle is a pretty handy little gadget. If you're someone who always has a bunch of coins lying around the house and wants an easy way to sort and count them, this product is definitely worth considering. Just be aware of the small issue with the penny tube.

🔗Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter FS-2D for Easy and Quick Coin Sorting

https://preview.redd.it/xsni8av54q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f2283a0132430a60bf9b9b442c6c38e10398359
When I first tried the Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter, I was genuinely excited. I had a jar full of loose change that I wanted to get rid of and this seemed like the perfect solution. The first thing I noticed was how fast it could sort out coins, up to 312 per minute. That's impressive! The large hopper capacity also allowed me to dump in a significant number of coins at once, without having to constantly refill it - a feature I truly appreciated.
The product came with a couple of pre-formed coin wrappers, which I thought was a neat touch. It made the transition from sorting to wrapping seamless. However, I also noticed that the coin counter comes with some noise when operating, which might be an issue for those who prefer a quieter environment.
The anti-jam feature was a standout for me. I had never used a coin sorter before, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. But this feature ensured that the coins kept moving smoothly through the machine, without any unexpected jams.
But, as with any product, there were a couple of cons. The first was the coin counter's size - it's quite large and might not fit on a smaller countertop. Secondly, while the product worked well most of the time, there were a few instances where the coin counter got a bit confused - it would sometimes sort coins into the wrong slot.
Overall, while the Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter has its quirks, I found it to be a useful tool for sorting and organizing loose change. It saved me a lot of time and made the process enjoyable.

🔗Portable Coin Sorting Organizer with Detachable Cover

https://preview.redd.it/twmqc4664q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f192981aa98a3db92da9233e16c805af06acd9e
When I first used the PEN+GEAR Coin Manager Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by its slim and sleek design. It fits perfectly in my pocket or on my keychain, making it a convenient addition to my daily essentials. One of the standout features is its clear slots that allow you to easily see when you need to add more coins, which is a lifesaver when I'm juggling multiple tasks at once.
I did notice, however, that the measurements for some coins, particularly pennies, seem slightly off. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the hang of it, but once I figured it out, it became a breeze. I like how the tray comes with coin wrappers, making it easier to organize my coins and create sets for collecting or spending.
Overall, the Coin Manager Pro is a handy tool for anyone who wants to keep their loose change organized and accessible. While it has a minor flaw with the coin measurements, it doesn't significantly impact its usability, and the benefits outweigh its limitations.

🔗Modern Coin Sorter with Digital Display and Removable Tubes

The Teachers Choice Digital Coin Counter and Sorter, as the name suggests, is a lifesaver for both children and adults alike. Whether you save pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters, this sorter makes organization a breeze. The digital LCD display keeps track of your savings, while the four separate tubes ensure that each coin type is tucked away perfectly.
One of the most notable features is how easy it is to use. Insert the coin into the sorter and watch as it automatically sorts it into the correct tube. The process is quite engaging, and it even helps children learn the value of money and basic math principles.
Yet, this device isn't without its quirks. Sometimes, a coin might end up in the tube sideways or not exactly where it's supposed to be. All you need to do is give it a little shake, and everything will fall into place.
The product itself is quite sturdy, with the ABS plastic construction making it a safer and more durable option compared to glass or ceramic piggy banks. And yes, it's perfect for all ages, making it a great addition to your home's financial organization system.
Despite these minor issues, the Teachers Choice Digital Coin Counter and Sorter exceeds our expectations. It's a practical tool that educates, organizes, and encourages good financial habits.

🔗Effortless Black Coin Sorter for Sorting and Counting Coins

https://preview.redd.it/oemo82374q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55d91169f3f049639e0e890ec85f537e35c6aa4e
I recently got my hands on the Royal CS120 Black Coin Sorter, and let me tell you, it's been quite the experience. At first, I was excited to sort my loose change into quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies using these neat little tubes with fill lines. But boy, was it challenging!
Firstly, the tubes were pretty big, which made it hard to fit in the smaller coins like pennies and dimes. I had to constantly open the lid and adjust the tubes, ensuring the white line was correctly aligned to prevent any mix-ups. But honestly, it wasn't all that bad. I thought it'd be tedious, but it actually became quite fun.
The digital readout that counts the total money in the sorter? Well, that was another story altogether. It didn't always give an accurate count, but I didn't mind much because I bought the sorter mainly for sorting, not counting.
But hey, let's not overlook the issue with the rolls. When you empty a tube, you have to put the money wrapper in before manually dropping in the coins. I got myself some extra rolls, which made the process much easier, especially when dealing with a piggy bank of coins.
My main gripe though is the quality of the sorter. It felt kind of cheap, and I had some worries about how long it would last, especially if my kids started using it. But for the price, I thought it was worth the risk.
So, while it might not be perfect, I've found the Royal CS120 to be a fun and efficient way to sort my loose change. And hey, it's even been a great learning experience for my kids!

🔗Heavy-Duty Coin Counter & Off-Sorter for US, Canadian, Mexican and More

Cassida's C-C850 Heavy Duty Coin Counter & Off-Sorter has proven to be a reliable workhorse in my daily processing of mixed coins and tokens. As a busy retailer, the 2-speed motorized hopper has been a lifesaver, quickly sorting my coin collection without any jams. The high-capacity hopper, capable of holding up to 6,500 coins, has been perfect for my needs.
However, the one downside I've experienced is that this particular unit is slower and prone to jamming compared to my other Cassida counter at a different location. Despite this issue, I still appreciate the ease of use and durability that Cassida's C-C850 offers in my daily business.

Check the compatibility of the coin sorter with the different types of coins you have in circulation. Most sorters can handle a mix of coins, including pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. However, some sorters may have restrictions on coin types or sizes.

Ease of Use

Consider a coin sorter that is easy to use, with a simple mechanism for sorting coins. Look for sorters with a clear and intuitive display, and one that doesn't take much effort to operate.

Capacity

Think about the amount of coins you want to sort at once. A coin sorter's capacity may vary, so choose one that can accommodate your desired volume. Consider the space where the coin sorter will reside in your home and the need for compactness.

Durability and Build Quality

A good coin sorter should be durable and built to last. Check the materials used, and look for units with a sturdy construction that can withstand frequent use. A coin sorter with an easily replaceable or removable coin tray can also simplify maintenance.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Ensure that the coin sorter you choose is easy to clean and maintain. Look for models with removable or dishwasher-safe parts, which can make cleaning up a snap. Consider how easily you can access the coin tray for cleaning purposes.

If you need a coin sorter that can be easily moved around or stored when not in use, look for one with a lightweight and compact design. Some coin sorters may come with a carry handle or a detachable tray that makes them more convenient for transportation.

Additional Features

Consider additional features that can improve your coin sorting experience. For example, some coin sorters have a built-in coin counter or cash register function. Others may include a storage compartment for extra coins or accessories.
Following these tips when shopping for a coin sorter should help you find a product that fits your specific needs and preferences. Remember to evaluate the features and considerations unique to your situation when making your purchase.

What is a Coin Sorter?

A coin sorter is a device that helps you sort and store your coins, usually in separate compartments for each denomination. It typically has a slot for inserting coins and a system for separating them into their respective compartments based on size and weight.

Why should I use a Coin Sorter?

  • Organizes your coins:
Coin sorting devices help you sort your coins by denomination, making it easier to manage your change and keep everything organized.
  • Saves time:
Instead of manually sorting your coins, a coin sorter automates the process for you, saving you time and effort.
  • Prevents coin damage:
Sorting your coins in a device designed to handle them gently will prevent scratches and bending, keeping them in better condition.
  • Space-saving:
Coin sorters usually come in compact designs, making them ideal for storage in small homes or offices.

How does a Coin Sorter work?

Coin sorters work by using a combination of size and weight sensors to detect the type of coin being inserted. When you insert a coin into the slot, the device reads the size and weight of the coin, allowing it to fall into the appropriate compartment. Some advanced models even use magnets or electronic sensors for a more precise sorting process.

What types of coins can a Coin Sorter handle?

Most coin sorters are designed to handle standard-sized coins such as pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. They may also have separate compartments for larger coins like half-dollars and foreign coins.

Where can I purchase a Coin Sorter?

Coin sorters can be found in various online stores, specialty shops, and retail outlets like drugstores and supermarkets. It's best to research and compare different models and prices before making a purchase to ensure you find the right coin sorter for your needs.

Can I turn a Coin Sorter into a piggy bank?

Yes, you can adapt a coin sorter into a piggy bank by keeping the coins in the devices' compartments and labeling them as separate savings accounts or piggy banks for each denomination. This way, you can still sort your coins and keep track of your savings progress.

How do I clean and maintain my Coin Sorter?

  • Empty the compartments:
Regularly empty the coin sorter to prevent the buildup of dirt, dust, and bacteria.
  • Wipe down the exterior:
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the coin sorter, removing any dirt or fingerprints.
  • Inspect the sorting mechanism:
Periodically inspect the coin sorter's sorting mechanism to ensure it's functioning correctly and free of debris or obstructions.

I recently discovered the Pelican V700 Vault Takedown Rifle and Shotgun Case, and it's truly a game changer for transportation of your beloved firearms. As an avid hunter, I appreciate that this case provides a high level of security, offering crushproof, dustproof, and weather resistant protection. The sturdy handles ensure your rifles or shotguns can withstand even the toughest conditions on your hunting trips.
One feature I particularly love is the presence of six push button latches that offer secure closure with easy-open access. This ensures your weapons are safe and secure while also making it convenient for you to access them when needed. The case also comes with specific foam designed to fit takedown firearms and related accessories, providing your gear with excellent protection during transportation.
However, like any product, there are some cons as well. The case is quite bulky and heavy, making it less ideal for those looking for a lightweight solution. Additionally, cutting and shaping the foam to fit your specific equipment can be time-consuming. Overall, despite its drawbacks, I would highly recommend this gun case to anyone in need of a reliable and resilient transportation solution for their takedown firearms.

🔗Durable, Crushproof Double Rifle Case

https://preview.redd.it/ry47455d2q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=450f6b4f8104be437bdb95e43cf6a77bbd54e1b4
I recently had the chance to use the Pelican V800 Vault Double Rifle Case in tan, and I must say it's been a game-changer in keeping my firearms safe and secure. The high-impact polymer exterior is not only incredibly durable but also has a sleek, modern look that I absolutely love.
One of the standout features for me is the customizable protective foam lining the interior. Having a secure fit for my rifles is so important, and this case makes it easy to create that level of protection. Plus, the added benefit of being crushproof, dustproof, and weather-resistant gives me peace of mind when traveling with my gear.
However, cutting the foam to fit my rifles exactly was a bit time-consuming and messy. It would have been nice if the case came with "pluck" foam, like some other brands offer, to make customization easier and less stressful.
In terms of ease of use, the handles are ergonomic and sturdy, making it comfortable to carry even when the case is fully loaded with scoped rifles. The wheels are also a great addition for those times when you need to roll your gear instead of lifting it.
Overall, the Pelican V800 Vault Double Rifle Case has been an excellent investment for keeping my firearms protected during transport. Its combination of durability, security features, and customizable foam make it a top choice for anyone in need of a high-quality rifle case.

🔗55" American Classic Double Rifle Case

My experience with the Savior Equipment American Classic Double Rifle Case has been quite remarkable. As someone who frequently visits the range, this case has been a game-changer for me. Its tactical design not only looks great but also provides an unmatched level of functionality.
One of the most standout features of this case is its spaciousness. It comfortably holds two rifles and even has additional pocket compartments to keep your belongings organized and secure. The internal padding ensures that your firearms are protected during transport, giving you peace of mind.
Another unique feature is the presence of lockable zipper sliders on both firearm compartments. This not only adds an extra layer of security but also makes it incredibly safe to carry around your weapons. The padded muzzle and stock sleeves further enhance the overall protection offered by this case.
However, there's room for improvement as well. The case can become quite heavy when loaded with its full capacity, which might be challenging for some individuals to carry around. Additionally, although the molle webbing compatibility adds versatility, it might not suit everyone's preferences.
In conclusion, the Savior Equipment American Classic Double Rifle Case has been an excellent companion on my trips to the range. Its robustness, capacity, and secure zippers make it a top choice for gun enthusiasts. Despite its weight and specific design choices, this case undoubtedly delivers on its promise of keeping your firearms safe and secure.

One of the best features is the fully customizable foam inserts that let me configure the case to fit my specific gear perfectly. The high-impact polymer outer shell and enclosed wheels make it easy to transport my rifle without any hassle. The six lock-ready latches add an extra layer of security, giving me peace of mind when traveling with my firearm. The only downside I've noticed is the need to purchase locks separately, but overall, I couldn't be happier with my investment in this case.

🔗Durable, Weatherproof Tactical Rifle Case with Wheels

I recently purchased the RPNB Weatherproof Tactical Rifle Case with Wheels and Customizable Cubed Foam, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This rugged hard case was a perfect choice for my shooting excursions, offering not only exceptional protection but also convenience with its rolling feature.
The first thing that stood out to me was the IP67 rating, which ensures that the case is both watertight and dustproof. No matter where I take my rifle, I know that it's safe and secure inside the case. Another feature that I really appreciated was the adjustable pressure relief valve, which makes opening the case a breeze after changing elevations.
Additionally, the pre-drilled holes for two padlocks provide extra security, giving me peace of mind when I'm storing my firearms. The pick-and-pull foam insert is another highlight, as it effectively absorbs impact and protects my gear from any damage that might occur during transport.
The only downside I've encountered is that the case can be a bit cumbersome to carry, but this is easily offset by the rolling feature. Plus, the fact that it meets TSA and airline requirements means I can easily take it with me on trips or to the range.
In conclusion, the RPNB Weatherproof Tactical Rifle Case with Wheels is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable, durable, and secure way to transport their rifles and shotguns.

🔗High-Quality Gun Case with 52" Capacity

I've been using the Kolpin 52" Gun Case for my shotguns and it has been a game-changer. The divided interior pocket is perfect for keeping my scoped rifles or shotguns organized and well-protected. The case is made of water and dust-resistant ballistic fabrics, which I love because it keeps my hunters safe from the elements. The thick padded construction also offers additional peace of mind, knowing that my rifles are securely nestled within.
One of my favorite features of this case is the two large exterior gear storage pockets. They're perfect for storing ammo, cleaning kits, and other essentials, all within easy reach. The quick-release mounting straps are another huge plus, as they enable me to secure the case to the roll cage of my UTV with ease. Plus, I can quickly remove it and use it as a carrying case, making transporting my rifles hassle-free.
However, one minor inconvenience is the strapping method required to attach it to the roll cage. It took some time to figure out and wasn't the most convenient method. Nevertheless, the overall quality and fit more than make up for this minor drawback. I've been extremely satisfied with this case and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and well-built gun case.

I remember one rainy day when I was caught unprepared, and the thought of how the situation could have been avoided with this case kept lingering in my mind.
The case has a padded single rifle compartment that provides excellent protection for my cherished gear, and the rigid hook & loop lockdown straps ensure it stays secure. What I love most about this case is its ability to be customized - the adjustable muzzle holder and full-length removable padded divider help me organize my cargo more efficiently.
On longer hauls, the concealed backpack straps provide added comfort, and the exterior accessory pockets offer ample space for any additional necessities. Plus, the concealed pocket with loop panel for holster concealment adds an extra layer of convenience that I appreciate.
The only downside I've found is that the case can be bulky to carry at times, especially when it's fully loaded with all my gear. However, this is a small price to pay for the uncompromised protection and versatility it provides.
All in all, the Savior Equipment Specialist Covert Rifle Case has been a reliable companion that goes above and beyond to keep my essentials safe and accessible. Highly recommended!

As a seasoned professional, I always value the importance of discretion and precision in any tool I use. That's why when I tried the Savior Equipment Specialist Covert Rifle Case, I was immediately drawn to its sleek design and customizable features.
The first thing that caught my attention was the muted cover. It's like a whisper in a room full of noise, ensuring that my presence remains unnoticed. Once inside, I discovered an endless array of options to build the case according to my exact needs.
While the dimensions are not overly impressive, they were precisely the right size for my purposes. The external height of 5 inches and external length of 30 inches provided a perfect fit for my rifle, while the 3 inches of internal height and 12.5 inches of internal width provided ample space and protection.
However, there was one feature that I wish was more user-friendly. The screws used to secure the components were not the easiest to handle, especially when in a rush. Nonetheless, the level of customization and quality craftsmanship outweighed this minor inconvenience.
Overall, the Savior Equipment Specialist Covert Rifle Case proved to be a reliable companion on my missions. Its discreet design and customizable features made it an essential tool for any professional.

However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. For example, the case could be quite heavy when fully loaded, which might make it slightly cumbersome to carry for extended periods. Additionally, the optional mounting bracket, while useful, was not included.
Overall, the V-Line Top Draw XL Large Capacity Pistol Case proved to be a reliable and secure option for storing and protecting my firearm. Despite the few minor drawbacks, I found the pros outweighed the cons in this case.

Buyer's Guide

When it comes to storing and transporting long firearms, a coffin gun case is a practical and efficient option. These cases are designed to hold shotguns and rifles with a length of up to 42 inches. They offer a range of features, making them suitable for various shooting purposes while ensuring the firearm remains protected and secure. In this buyer's guide, we will discuss the essential factors to consider when purchasing a coffin gun case and provide general advice to help you make an informed decision.

Size and Length of the Firearm

https://preview.redd.it/sefot21g2q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=603f827ff4130bf6458028eca0156e725aca5548
First and foremost, you need to consider the size and length of your firearm when choosing a coffin gun case. Measure your shotgun or rifle to determine the correct size. Manufacturers usually state the maximum length of firearms that their cases can accommodate. Make sure to select a case that can hold your firearm snugly without any movement to ensure its protection during transportation.

Materials and Construction

The materials and construction of a coffin gun case are crucial factors to consider. A well-built case should provide excellent protection against impact, moisture, and dust. Look for cases made of durable materials such as high-density foam, ABS plastic, or a combination of both. These materials offer good shock absorption and water resistance, ensuring that your firearm remains protected even during rough handling or exposure to harsh environments.

Security Features

For those who need extra security for their firearms, consider purchasing a coffin gun case with security features such as locks and latches. This will prevent unauthorized access and ensure that your firearm remains protected.

Design and Ergonomics

Ergonomics are essential when it comes to coffin gun cases. Look for cases that feature a comfortable and user-friendly design, allowing you to easily carry and maneuver your firearm. This includes features like well-padded handles, shoulder straps, or a sturdy and lightweight frame that doesn't limit your movement.

Price and Budget

Finally, consider your budget when purchasing a coffin gun case. High-quality cases come at a higher price, but they also offer better protection and features. However, there are many affordable options available, so you can find a case that fits your needs and budget without compromising on essential features.
When buying a coffin gun case, remember to take your time to research and compare different models to ensure that you are getting the best value for your money. With the right case, you can transport and store your long firearms safely and efficiently for years to come.

🔗Reliable AK-47 30 Round Polymer Magazine

https://preview.redd.it/j5ka9vmpsp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55fae360f3a1e76f96c79c509bacc57fed2a4be1
As a fan of US Palm's innovative and functional products, I recently gave their AK30 Banana 30RD mag a shot for an upcoming range trip. This polymer magazine offers a unique touch with its waffle and tread design, making it a standout in my collection. What truly impressed me, though, was the low-friction self-cleaning polymer follower. This feature not only ensures reliability but also guarantees the magazine remains in excellent condition even after countless rounds fired.
On the downside, I found the magazine to be quite lengthy at nearly 10 inches long — a significant departure from its compact competitors. Nevertheless, this may not be a deal-breaker for most shooters, especially those looking for durability and performance in their magazines. As always, the US Palm AK magazine comes with their signature "Weather Any Storm" promise, and I can trust that it'll stand the test of time.

🔗High-Capacity M1A 30-Round Magazine for Nerf Blasters

https://preview.redd.it/duadln2qsp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb5cc7be51e6474ba7cd9ed7f86311cc905891d9
This 25-round drum for the Nerf N-Strike Elite Series is a game-changer for any foam enthusiast. It's compatible with any clip system blaster, making it a versatile addition to your arsenal. The set comes with the drum magazine and 30 high-performance darts, so you'll always have ammo on hand.
In my experience, the drum magazine held up to 25 elite darts, providing a high-capacity option for those intense moments. The darts perform well, rainning down foam on targets with ease. Plus, with less time spent reloading, you can focus on your aim.
However, the product's dimensions might be a bit bulky for some users. But overall, this high-quality ABS plastic drum is a must-have for any Nerf lover seeking improved performance and less downtime.

🔗Increase Hellcat Magazine Capacity with KRISS Mag-Ex Kit

https://preview.redd.it/7zxgwnkqsp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1007e3ef7a37704bd467fe1ab2df203fdd465c3
As someone who appreciates precision and durability in their firearm accessories, I was excited to try the Kriss USA Magex2 Extension Kit. The extended baseplate, outer sleeve, and spring all came together flawlessly to provide a boost in capacity for my factory standard Glock magazines.
I must say, the lightweight reinforced composite construction made it a joy to handle, and the 30-round capacity truly made a difference in my shooting experience. However, I noticed that it was incompatible with reduced capacity 10rd magazines, which could be a potential downside for some users. Overall, the Kriss USA Magex2 Extension Kit delivered on its promises, and its long-term reliability is truly something to be admired.

🔗US Palm AK Mag with Low Friction Follower for AK-47

https://preview.redd.it/xolm9fwqsp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ccf72f8d492df056a421cd729087d42991076a4e
Recently, I had the pleasure of using the US Palm Ak30r, a reliable and affordable magazine for a 7.62X39 caliber rifle. Right off the bat, I was impressed by its sleek design and the unique waffle and tread pattern that's become synonymous with the US Palm brand.
The low friction self-cleaning polymer follower was a game changer for me, as it provided a smooth, hassle-free experience during my shooting practice. However, one minor issue I faced was the slight difficulty in loading the magazine due to the tight fit. Overall, the US Palm Ak30r offers a great balance between quality and affordability, making it a worthy investment for any AK-47 owner.

🔗Extreme Impact-Resistant CMR 30 Extended Magazine

https://preview.redd.it/b3szag6rsp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=069cca5a85c07e3bf7e7ff7a0432b2035c6b368b
The ETS AR556 offers an array of exceptional features for discerning gun enthusiasts. Unlike traditional mags, these don't crack or shatter upon impact, adding robustness to your daily life. The product is also notably resistant to chemical assaults, ensuring it remains as efficient and functional as the day it was purchased.
Additionally, the ETS AR556 is a trooper in harsh environments. Its superior resistance to extreme temperatures and UV rays means your magazine stays operational even in the harshest of conditions.
A highlight for me was the translucent body. It was convenient to know how many rounds were left or what type of ammunition was within, without needing to open it. But, they have room for improvement when it comes to resistance. While they're not meant to be tampered with, occasionally they need a bit more strength to withstand impacts.
Overall, the ETS AR556 mag is a reliable choice for gun owners who prefer a slim design and resilient performance.

🔗Rival Arms Comfort Mag Release Extension for Glock 43

https://preview.redd.it/pmduihmrsp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3765cb0af17e6562bfb245276c04d872d950ada4
The Rival Arms Mag Release EXT has been serving as my daily sidekick these past few weeks, proving its mettle in a variety of situations. The aluminum construction not only adds sturdiness to its structure, but also ensures a lightweight yet robust profile. The comforting angle and slim profile it flaunts, make sure it's within easy reach, while avoiding any unwanted drops. However, there's a catch; the weight is pretty minimal, which somehow feels off to me.
The Glock 43 has adapted well to this companion, and it's now an inseparable duo. The extended mag release spring adds a layer of convenience and swiftness in my operations. But there's one area that needs improvement - it could've been more user-friendly to install. Other than that, this mag release has been serving me well, providing efficient and uncomplicated operation.

2024.05.21 07:22 TheMetalGodX Round Two Of Crashing, Please Help!

I am making a new updated post with an mysterious issue with my Load Order. I am either missing something or something is cooperating. I could use a couple extra sets of eyes to see if I have missed anything. I am trying to build a working load order for the next gen update. Currently I have removed some mods and patched some that were made aware to me to be trouble some. Yet here I am again and this time I timed the crash intervals. Its crashing exactly between 6-8 minutes. Also while walking through sanctuary I noticed trees in the background flickering in and out. This tells me somethings not working as intended.
My PC Specs are as follows:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X at 5.6ghz
64Gb DDR4 Ram at 3600mhz
Nvidia RTX 4080 at stock settings
Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD
Neither my cpu or gpu hit 50% load and I'm wondering if there is a way to let the game use more cpu and gpu, if that'll help.
I have only made it to Sanctuary each time I test this and yes I create a new game each time until I get this narrowed down. I also am not sure if Bethini works properly as every time I run it I have to redo all the settings each time.

2024.05.21 07:19 TheMetalGodX [FO4]Round Two Of Crashing, Please Help!

Alright so besides the funny title, I am making a new updated post with an mysterious issue with my Load Order.
Here is my newly updated load order:

🔗Resistance Bands Set for Diverse Exercise and Fitness Needs

https://preview.redd.it/oyfc1gmzmp1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=87bc2a42065ae4535de4e60944193e9e42c1253d
As someone who's been using these resistance bands in my daily workout routine, I must say they are quite effective in providing a challenging workout. One of the highlights has to be their ability to stack up to 125-150 lbs, offering various resistance levels based on color coding. For instance, yellow represents 15 lbs, red 20 lbs, and so on. This flexibility allows me to customize my training sessions based on my fitness level.
Made from 100% natural latex, these bands are not only eco-friendly but also boast good elasticity and non-slip handles. The door anchor included further enhances the workout options by enabling wall-mounted exercises. I've found these resistance bands particularly useful for toning muscles, increasing strength and flexibility.
However, one downside might be that they don't appear to last as long as I would like. After heavy use, I've had to replace them more frequently than anticipated. Nevertheless, considering their affordability and effectiveness, they remain a valuable addition to my home gym equipment.
In conclusion, these resistance bands from Bob and Brad offer a versatile and effective way to enhance your workout routine. With adjustable resistance levels and additional accessories like door anchors and ankle straps, they provide a complete fitness solution right at home. While their durability could be improved, overall, they definitely deliver for their price point.

I've been using the Whatafit Resistance Bands Set for a few weeks now and it's been a game-changer in my home workout routine. The different colored bands are adjustable, which means I can get just the right resistance for each exercise. Plus, they're super portable, making them perfect for taking on trips or storing in a small apartment.
One of the standout features of this set is the quality of the materials. Each band is clearly marked with its equivalent weight, so I know exactly how much resistance I'm getting. And unlike some cheaper sets, these bands have held up well even after multiple uses.
However, there are a couple of downsides to this product. The handles can be a bit small for some people, making them a bit uncomfortable to use. Plus, the clips that attach the bands to the handles can be a bit difficult to snap on.
Overall, I'd say the Whatafit Resistance Bands Set is a great addition to anyone's home gym. It's versatile, easy to use, and made with good quality materials. Just be prepared to potentially double up on the straps and wear gloves if you have larger hands!

Using Vive's Fabric Resistance Bands has been a game changer in keeping my workout routines diverse and challenging. The set includes three resistance bands with varying levels of resistance – light, medium, and heavy – catering to different fitness levels. The light teal band provides a gentle resistance that's perfect for beginners and those looking for a more manageable workout. The dark teal band ramps up the resistance, making it ideal for intermediate workouts. And the black band is a heavy-duty option that's suitable for advanced fitness enthusiasts.
What I particularly love about these bands is their comfortable fabric blend. They're soft against the skin, making them a pleasure to use, even during long workout sessions. Plus, the non-slip lining ensures they stay in place throughout your workout, eliminating any distractions.
However, one drawback I noticed is the limited color options. While the light and dark teal colors are appealing, I would have appreciated a wider color palette to choose from.
Despite this minor issue, I have to say that these resistance bands have significantly enhanced my workout experience. They're lightweight, easy to use, and incredibly effective, making them a must-have for anyone looking to elevate their fitness game.

🔗Perform Better 4-Pack Mini Resistance Bands for Training and Warmup

As a fitness enthusiast who's been using these Perform Better Mini Band Resistance Loop Exercise Bands, I can attest that they've made a significant difference in my workout routine. Not only are these bands incredibly versatile, allowing me to target different muscle groups with varying resistance levels, but they're also incredibly durable.
The professional-grade quality of these bands is evident right out of the box. They come in four different colors, each representing a different level of resistance: Yellow for light, Green for medium, Blue for heavy, and Black for extra-heavy. This feature allows me to tailor my workouts based on my fitness level and goals.
One of the things I particularly love about these bands is how easy they are to transport. I can take them with me wherever I go, whether it's to the gym, the office, or even on vacation. This portability means I never have to miss a workout, and that's a big plus in my book.
Not only have these resistance bands improved my physical fitness, but they've also helped me recover from injuries. I experienced a knee injury a few months back, and using these bands during my physical therapy sessions has accelerated my recovery process.
However, there is one downside to these bands. They can be quite slippery, especially when getting started with a new exercise. This can make it difficult to maintain proper form and can potentially lead to injuries if not handled properly.
In conclusion, these Perform Better Mini Band Resistance Loop Exercise Bands have been a game-changer for my fitness routine. They offer a versatile, durable, and portable solution for adding resistance to my workouts, and their professional-grade quality ensures that I'll be using them for years to come. While there's a minor inconvenience with their slipperiness, that's a small price to pay for the tremendous benefits they provide.

I recently got my hands on the Blogilates Loop Bands - 4pk, and oh boy, these have been a game-changer in my daily workout routine! Having four different resistance levels, from light to crazy, has allowed me to tailor my workout sessions according to my mood and energy levels.
The highlight of my experience has been the fact that these loop bands are incredibly easy to pack. This feature has made maintaining a fitness routine while traveling so much simpler for me. Plus, the designs are developed by none other than Cassey Ho, a leading fitness personality and Pilates instructor. Her expertise guarantees that these loop bands will take your home workouts to the next level!
However, there were also a few minor drawbacks. The light resistance bands, while serving beginners, weren't as effective for me when I desired an intense workout. Additionally, the plastic-like texture of the bands can be a bit off-putting at first, especially if you're used to fabric resistance bands.
Despite these minor issues, I've seen a significant improvement in my overall fitness since incorporating these loop bands into my workout regimen. Their portability and various resistance levels make them a must-have for anyone looking to diversify their home workout sessions.

I never thought I'd enjoy resistance training until I discovered the HPYGN Resistance Bands Set. This set is perfect for a variety of muscle groups, making them an essential part of my home workout routine. The bands are easy to use and adjust, and the door anchor allows me to create custom workout setups with ease.
The quality of the bands is impressive, especially considering the 150lb tension level. I've been using these bands for body shaping and weight loss, and I've definitely noticed a difference in my strength and endurance. However, some of the bands can be quite bulky, making them difficult to store when not in use.
Overall, I would highly recommend the HPYGN Resistance Bands Set to anyone looking to build strength, endurance, and stamina. They are a versatile and effective exercise tool that can be easily incorporated into any workout routine.

In my fitness journey, I've tried countless tools and gadgets for strength training - but the Himaly Exercise Resistance Bands have truly taken the cake. This set of five resistance bands comes with different levels of tension, allowing me to challenge myself as my fitness level progresses.
The first thing that caught my eye was the sturdiness of these bands. Unlike some cheaper options out there, these are designed with a dual security loops on the handle and made from TPE material to ensure maximum durability. It feels like they're built to last, even after hours of intense workout sessions.
Another significant feature is how versatile they are. Whether it's training my chest, shoulders, back, or even thighs, these resistance bands have helped me target different muscle groups without needing a full gym set up. Plus, since they're so lightweight and easy to store, I can take them anywhere, making them perfect for those who travel often or simply prefer working out at home.
However, one thing worth mentioning is that while these bands are great for women and even most men, if you're looking for something extremely challenging for male workout enthusiasts, you might need to look elsewhere. These bands are perfect for maintaining strength and toning up, but don't quite offer the level of resistance some muscle-bound workout warriors might require.
Overall, I would recommend the Himaly Exercise Resistance Bands to anyone looking for an effective and versatile strength training tool. They're durable, easy to use, and can help you achieve your fitness goals from the comfort of your own home.

I love how versatile they are – perfect for stretching, working out at home or on the go, and even for physical therapy. The best part is how compact these bands are; they don't take up much space at all.
These WODFitters resistance bands have given my workouts that extra kick that I've been missing. Not only do they help me get stronger and leaner, but they also ensure my joints remain intact and healthy. I find the bands incredibly useful for Pull Ups, Ring Dips, and Muscle Ups as well as powerlifting sessions with banded lifts. Plus, combining the bands in different ways gives me an adjustable level of resistance and makes my training more efficient.
The product comes with a set of four resistance bands – Red (10 to 35 pounds), Black (30 to 60 pounds), Purple (40 to 80 pounds), and Green (50 to 125 pounds). I've had the pleasure of using all four of them and can say that they are all of great quality and offer excellent resistance.
However, there was one review that pointed out some disappointment with the bands. The user found them to be less resistant than the original ones. Nevertheless, considering most other users' positive experiences, it seems that this might be an isolated case.
To sum it up, the WODFitters Fabric Resistance Bands are a high-quality and versatile addition to any home workout routine or physical therapy practice. These resistance bands help you achieve your fitness goals while keeping your joints safe. Definitely worth investing in!

The three levels of resistance allow me to challenge myself as I progress, while the soft cloth fabric feels comfortable against my skin.
But it's not just about the product itself; the included training videos have been incredibly helpful in showing me how to make the most out of these bands. From simple glute exercises to more intense leg routines, there's no shortage of ways to use these bands to build strength and flexibility.
Of course, no product is perfect. One minor concern I have is that the bands can be a bit difficult to roll up once I've finished my workout. However, this is a small inconvenience compared to the overall benefits these resistance bands provide.
Overall, I absolutely love my Gymbee Resistance Bands and would recommend them to anyone looking to incorporate more strength training into their fitness routine without leaving the comfort of their own home.

One potential drawback, however, is that some users have reported that their bands lost resistance after just a few uses. While this happened to me only once, it's worth considering if you're planning on using the band daily.
Overall, I've been incredibly happy with my Level 1 Fabric Booty Building Band, and I can't recommend it enough. The quality, versatility, and effectiveness make it an excellent addition to any home gym. So, grab your orange band, and let's get those glutes firing!

2024.05.21 03:06 ElectronicHeat8473 chance me for premed & bsmd pls (rising senior at competitive nj hs)

Hi! So I'm a high school junior (technically rising senior but whatever) in NJ and I'm at a really competitive high school (like 40-50 kids ended up going to a t50 this year). I'm interested in pre-med and BSMD but I'm not sure what's better since money is a factor for me that my parents want to consider.
Demographics: Female, Asian, NJ, public school, no hooks
Intended Major: Biology
SAT: 1530 first attempt (780 math 750 reading/writing)
UW/W GPA and Rank: School doesn't rank or do UW but 4.34 W and I'd assume something like 3.7-3.8 UW? I have 3 B's in Honors and AP classes from sophomore year and 2 B+'s my junior year in AP classes but the rest are A's
Coursework: APUSH (3), AP Seminar (4), AP Physics 1, AP Calculus AB, AP US Government and Politics, AP Research. Will be taking AP Lit, AP Bio, AP Psych and AP Calc BC my senior year
Honors/Awards:
Extracurriculars:
Essays/LORs/Other: I have no idea what I'm going to write my essays on but I'm planning to start in the summer so they will definitely be pretty good. As for LORs, I'm asking my AP Research teacher and my Human Anatomy and Physiology teacher. Both know me very well and can speak on my growth as a person and ambition for medicine.
Schools I'm Considering:
I'm quite honestly only really concerned about all the BSMD programs and Ohio State. I really want to get a full ride to Ohio State to go there. I also don't know if my GPA is up to par with the BSMD expectation because I do have a handful of B's on my transcript from Honors and AP Classes...
So please let me know what you think!

2024.05.21 02:45 Aggravating_Rate3271 Chance me for top STEM programs

Hello! Here is some of my info. Can I get my chances at the top computer science schools? In no particular order, I'm looking at Stanford, Princeton, MIT, Cornell, UPenn, Caltech, Berkeley, Harvard, Yale, Georgia Tech, and other top comp sci programs. I have no idea what my top choice college is right now. Keeping info intentionally vague in some areas. Thanks!
Demographics: Male, White, Private School.
Hooks: None :(
Intended Major: Computer Science/Physics
SAT: 1590 (Paper version back in sophomore year, 800M 790E)
Current GPA: 4.0 UW / 5.04 W (on a 5.33 max weighted scale) - correlates to ~98 pct average.

Predicting 5s on the following exams this year: Calc AB, Biology, Comp Sci A, good chance at 5s on Literature and Euro but I'm less sure about those two.
Note: planning to take 5 more AP’s my senior year, so total AP count is going to be 15.
ECs (no particular order):
  1. Founded and am currently managing a mental health organization that teaches strategies for improving mental health while also excelling academically. The organization has >10 chapters in 3 different states and 2 different countries.
  2. Varsity Rower on my school's rowing team since sophomore year, also rowed in Freshman year and went to scholastic nationals.
  3. Member of High School Honors Jazz Band, earned Superior evaluation at sophomore year MPAs.

Currently, have facilitated the introduction of gluten free meals into my local food kitchen that serves the community, and am reaching out to even more in the area.
  7. Won a Grand Award at the State Science and Engineering Fair (1st in the Physics and Astronomy category out of the entire state) and qualified to be an ISEF finalist.
  8. Member of another student council organization since sophomore year that helps organize school events.
  9. Another astrophysics research project with top professor in the field (reason why this is so vague is because it's in beginning stages, but I expect it will be just as important and go just as far in science fair as my last one if not farther)
  10. Regular volunteer work (total of 100+ hours) as a Math, English, History, Chemistry, and SAT prep tutor for the past 2 years.
Can I get some chances at those colleges I mentioned above? If possible, include the chances for regular vs. early for the colleges that have early programs which offer a significant increase in admission. Also, if you have any other colleges in mind that you think would be a good fit please comment those!

2024.05.21 02:32 bangstrbl which school should i transfer to?

i’ve been admitted into 4 universities but i have narrowed it down to 2 universities, ucsd and uc berkeley. i reside in the bay area (south bay/sj) and got into public health BS for ucsd and L&S at berkeley (applied for their public health program, major doesn’t directly admit transfers). i would like to be a physician’s assistant (PA) in the future but med school isn’t off the table for me, and i’m struggling to figure out which university i should choose. here are the pros and cons list i’ve developed:
UC Berkeley
Pros: closer to home, #1 public university in the world, better public health program, family friends have children who attend
Cons: bachelors of arts degree, expensive to live on campus/off campus housing hard to come by, don’t like the campus culture from what i’ve heard from current transfer students, not many resources for pre-health, grade deflation, semester system
i am seriously considering changing my major to molecular and cellular biology which has significantly more rigorous upper division courses that will allow me to complete my PA/med school pre-requisites easier than being a public health major, but the courses all have a B/B- average and it’s going to be difficult to apply to PA/med school with a 3.0 GPA
NOTE: berkeley has a 4+1 masters of public health program where public health majors can apply for their masters of public health at berkeley and earn it in one year instead of the standard two years. this program is open to only public health undergraduate students at berkeley. earning an MPH could be beneficial if i wanted to go to med school, but completing the pre-requisites for med school as a public health major is next to impossible if i want to perform well in my courses and graduate in two years. i would not be interested in earning an MPH if it were the standard two year degree.
UCSD
Pros: bachelors of science, multiple friends both transferring and currently attending, course load for major + PA/med school pre requisites is manageable and i will graduate on time/in two years, has been my dream/target school for many years, many pre-health/bio opportunities, enjoy campus culture more, quarter system
Cons: lower ranked program in comparison to berkeley (although not by much; about 2-3 schools difference), much further away from home, not as prestigious as berkeley
ultimately i feel like UCSD is my best choice in the long run, but i feel like i wouldn’t be taking advantage of a huge opportunity if i didn’t go to berkeley simply because it’s berkeley! this is a lengthy post but please help me/provide any insight :( thank you for reading

2024.05.21 01:26 Kaomet Big Update on how to turn RPS into a balanced RPG (game theory problem)

Big news ! Balancing RPS style game while allowing assymetrical balance is getting easier than ever !
(follow up of this post)
First, remember the problem :
Given 2 RPS utility matrices where A picks row and B picks column :
 A00 A01 A02 A10 A11 A12 A20 A21 A22 B00 B01 B02 B10 B11 B12 B20 B21 B22
The RPS condition is just that the variables MUST be ordered like in the standard RPS. The whole point of the work is to figure out what other constraints there are beside ordering.
 RA PA SA RB 0 +1 -1 PB -1 0 +1 SB +1 -1 0
And the magical trick turned out to be designing the value of the game first !
Strangely, the 0 case is the most complicated : we need both player payoff matrix determinant to be 0. Or sum of products of diagonals to be equals to sum of products of anti-diagonals.
A02 A11 A20 + A00 A12 A21 + A01 A10 A22 == A01 A12 A20 + A02 A10 A21 + A00 A11 A22 B02 B11 B20 + B00 B12 B21 + B01 B10 B22 == B01 B12 B20 + B02 B10 B21 + B00 B11 B22
It's annoying to do by hand, but trivial on computer. Remark : if we decide there are 0 on the diagonals, it further simplify :
A01 A12 A20 == A02 A10 A21
This is also easier to interpret : the product of all possible gains is the same as the product of possible loss. Weirdly, it is a product that guarantee everything to balance out to 0.
But even more strangely, the non zero case is balanced by trivial sums :
A00 + A10 + A20 == 3K A01 + A11 + A21 == 3K A02 + A12 + A22 == 3K B00 + B01 + B02 == 3K B10 + B11 + B12 == 3K B20 + B21 + B22 == 3k
Remember that A picks ROW, but A's balancing equation is the sum of a column. Conceptually, this is easier : it means when balancing a strategy, you can just think of how it performs in average in all case.
In conclusion, in order NOT TO FUCK UP balance, ones need to consider if the game has a target payoff of 0 or not. If the game is some kind of MMO, with everyone doing whatever they want, and an end result that can be either positive or negative for BOTH players, the second balancing strategy is the best. In PVP, use the first one.
The second balancing strategy, non zero utility : for evey players choice, makes sure it will average out in all possible context, where contexts can be weighted as equally likely (it's the player's task to figure out probabilities)
The first balancing strategy, zero utility, is very complex to implement : lets pick an example from RTS : Aggro beats MacroEco beats Castling beats Aggro. Aggro builds an army as fast as possbile, cross the map, and attempt at destroying the opponent. MacroEco attempt to outgrow the oponent economically in order to buy a bigger army later. Castling is an in between strategy, that does not expand neither economically nor tactically. Suppose we have 2 playable factions. How to buff (our) Castling versus (enemy) Castling, yet keep the game balanced ? Let's use the equation :
CA MM AC + AA MC CM + MA AM CC == AC CM MA + AM MC CA + AA MM CC CC == (AC (CM MA - CA MM) + MC (AM CA - AA CM ) )/(AM MA - AA MM) CC == (AC * constant_0 + MC * constant_1 )/ constant_2
We can see that by linearity, an equal nerf to both (our) Aggro against (enemy) Castle and (our) Macro versus (enemy) Castle is required. So our CC buff was an enemy CC nerf, that had to be compensated by buffing the enemy CC in other situation, ie nerfing us in those.
To sum it up, if the value of the game is supposed to be 0, a +10% buff has to be compensated by multiple -10% nerf. If the value of the game is different than 0, a +10 points buff has to be compensated by a total of -10 points nerf.
EDIT : the 0 case can be balanced using the strategy profile of a player :
 x*A00 + y*A10 + z*A20 == 0 x*A01 + y*A11 + z*A21 == 0 x*A02 + y*A12 + z*A22 == 0 u*B00 + v*B01 + w*B02 == 0 u*B10 + v*B11 + w*B12 == 0 u*B20 + v*B21 + w*B22 == 0
This means we can create "class", ie playstyle, and balance accordingly.

2024.05.20 22:45 TheBlaringBlue Gaming's Art of the Keepsake

I’ve had a lot of adventures in my life.
I’ve traveled, made friends, seen sights, competed in sports, and participated in events.
Sometimes, following any of these endeavors, a small object would find itself in my possession. A knickknack, a totem, a doodad.
Maybe it was a collection of Mardi Gras beads from my trip to New Orleans. Or a t-shirt tossed by a cheerleader at a sporting event. A toy from a claw machine. A mixtape from a friend. A thank-you note. A cheap piece of junk from a tourist’s gift shop.
Whatever they were didn’t matter — what matters is that they were often a representation of whatever moment in time they came from.
I never threw these things away. I set them on my desk or on my shelves. When those spaces filled up, I bought two small storage containers. They’re filled to the brim and I’m currently filling a third.
Why keep the color-coordinated bandana a stranger gave me in the park during Pokemon Go’s heyday? Why hold onto the Save the Date from my high school friend who ended up getting divorced not two years later? What significance or use could I possibly have for those goofy White Elephant gifts my kickball team gave at the yearly Christmas party?
No purpose, no reason and there is none, respectively.
And yet I don’t want to let them go. You see, they are reminders of times and experiences — Keepsakes. Mementos. Souvenirs. In some ways, they’re a physical collection and documentation of my life.
It reminds me a little bit of this weird quirk I have when I play video games.
--
I likely dumped more than 500 hours across all my Skyrim save files. There was no other game, there needn’t be any other game and there still hasn’t been any other game since.
In my adulthood, I returned to one of its many definitive editions for one last victory lap. With my experience, memory and fully-formed adult brain, I approached the game methodologically, in an optimal order, carefully. I built my ideal character and crafted only what was needed — down to the last iron ingot. I explored, I experienced — I did every major and minor quest, making it my perfect playthrough.
One thing I love about Skyrim is the loot. Yes, there’s 20 million iron daggers and boring, inventory-cluttering useless items… but then there’s the special ones.
There’s the unique weapons at the end of each Daedric quest. The trinkets from the Thieves Guild. Spellbooks, statuettes and storybooks. The eerily-delivered note for the assassin’s questline. The robes of the king, the rings and necklaces of Jarls.
You know them — the items with one-of-a-kind names and designs that are specific to each of their quests.
You see, these items carry a story with them. How you stole for them or killed for them. Traveled, battled, talked, stealthed, lied, solved your way into their possession. They’re the game’s biggest treat.
That’s why, at the culmination of my final ever Skyrim playthrough, I bought a house in Whiterun and filled it with these objects.
Weapons and armors on the walls and on the racks, items and books placed carefully on shelves - but not just any weapons, armors, objects and books. Only the special ones. It was a house that told the story of all of my adventures.
I sat down in a chair next to Aela the Huntress in my castle, my throne room. I saved my game one final time.
--
For all of gaming’s swashbuckling adventures, magnificent worlds and large stretches of land to traverse, they don’t always give us too much to remember them by, do they?
I appreciate Skyrim so much for understanding the nature of the epic they were creating. The ability to fill your house with display cases, armor mannequins and weapon racks demonstrates the developer’s awareness of their playerbase and the scale of the adventures they were sending them on.
These are adventures to cherish, to tell tales of, to be remembered.
Will anyone else give me what Skyrim did?

The answer’s yes, actually.
It’s a fascinating yes, too — because not every keepsake system is cut from the same cloth. Games offer unique takes on the mechanic that energize it, give it new life and perspective and add layers of meaning to it in fresh ways.
And I’ve got plenty of examples.
--
In The Outer Worlds, special items you collected while out adventuring would be placed in specific locations throughout your ship, The Unreliable, upon return. These included things like:
• Posters • Signs • Various ISO items • Tossballs & Tossball cards • Golden bird statuettes • Many, many more
Sometimes these were stored by the game in your captain’s quarters, but other times, they’d appear in your squad’s quarters instead.
No matter where they got stored, these items were more than just junk. They were signature weapons of terrible villains whom you defeated, they were outlandish garb from flamboyant characters who painstakingly passed away to protect your life, they were motifs of resource-gouging corporations whom you shutdown for the good of cities and planets.
They were special, they were keepsakes. Their addition made The Unreliable feel alive and lived in, part of your own, unique journey, filled with the stories and tales of your adventure and — importantly and specifically to The Outer Worlds — your choices.

The second and third installments of the Mass Effect series contained model ships you could buy from vendors that would then go on display on desks or on racks in your spaceship, The Normandy.
These are a little different because you buy them, rather than slice somebody’s head off for them, but they still count.
What makes them still count here is twofold:
• Some model ships only become available after completing certain missions that actually involve the ship you’re buying a model of, so they still serve as a reminder and memento of specific accomplishments in this way • If you transferred your save data through the games, models you collected in ME2 would appear automatically on The Normandy in ME3. Being able to carry souvenirs into a sequel is exceptional, and a feat I’ve not found any other game to match.
Mass Effect: Andromeda saw a return of this feature, too. You ended up re-gathering old ships of yore in this installment, however. Andromeda also featured a more traditional collectible-style search; these model ships were looted from various locations in the world.
The original trilogy used the model ships as landmarks for its major moments, to be remembered across the series, while Andromeda paid homage to the previous games and encouraged its players to explore its world more thoroughly.

In Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, building up your burgeoning young settlement of Ravensthorpe is a central gameplay mechanic — as you acquire more resources to build with, the size of the village grows both in length, width and inhabitants.
The game includes optional side quests that change those who wander your evolving home and hub in medieval England. They include:
• Capturing a stray cat • Saving a fox from a burning home • Befriending a fallen hunter’s wolf pet
In each instance, the living being will join your settlement — the cat will stay underneath Eivor’s seat in your longship, the fox will wander Ravensthorpe and the wolf will welcome you in your personal quarters, howling at your arrival.
You can interact and pet them whenever you like, playing a short animation displaying the affection between the two.
These three “collectibles” don’t feel like trinkets, but living, breathing additions to your home that give it joy and life, as well as keep you young.

Speaking of Norse culture, central to Biomutant is a form of Yggdrasil — the WorldTree.
Central to Biomutant’s story is saving the old, decaying and currently-being-eaten-by-giant-monsters WorldTree. And there are two impressive quests in the game that reflect back to the player their efforts in saving it.
One quest saves the tree from festering toxins below its roots — and the tree’s colors change from green to fluorescent white as a result.
Another quest by the name of Aurora has you activate monoliths around the map that direct energy to the WorldTree. The quest climaxes by having the tree give off a swirling, sparkling aura that hangs perpetually while you travel the world and complete more objectives.
It even matches your affinity — if you’re taking the side of love and justice, the aura is white, while if you play for the destruction of the planet, the aura will hang black.
What’s special about these to me is that they don’t do anything. They don’t get you any closer to saving the world or the tree, but they definitely did something important –
The WorldTree’s central location in the map and absolutely massive scale allow for it to be seen at all times from just about anywhere in Biomutant’s world. This means, after I had completed these two quests, the fruits of my labor were on gloriously beautiful display at all times.
Biomutant’s mementos aren’t keepsakes you can’t take with you when you leave the planet — they’re visual celebrations of your hard work, an ever-present reminder of your endeavors and care for a dying world.

More briefly, Cyberpunk 2077 allowed you to fill V’s apartment with keepsakes as well, featuring dream catchers, posters, paintings, action figures and more.
In Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance Ace Azzameen’s personal quarters would fill up with medals and displays as you progressed through the game.
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, some of the most legendary Zelda equipment ever was available to the player, including the Sword of Six Sages, the Fierce Deity Sword, and the Biggorons Sword — all of which can be hung in display cases in Link’s home.
Meanwhile, Uncharted 4 greets players near its opening sequence with an attic filled with memorabilia and keepsakes that Nathan Drake himself has kept after all these years. It’s not us — the players — ourselves collecting and hoarding, but it was lovely to see Drake thinking along the same lines as us souvenir psychopaths.

I’ll end with gaming’s classic — Mario. The red-hatted Italian also did the keepsake thing in one of his most beloved installments.
Super Mario: Odyssey allowed you to decorate The Odyssey with stickers and trinkets from your escapades by spending purple coins you could collect while out adventuring on one of the game’s many worlds.
A vanilla Odyssey player’s ship might look the same as it did at the game’s start, but a completionist might have a slew of trinkets and décor, like:
• Peach’s Model Castle • Dinosaur models and trophies • Shiverian Nesting Dolls • A plush frog • Flowers and a watering can from Steam Gardens • Statues of Pauline, Jaxi, Jizo • A lamp and rock fragment of the moon
Hell, the game director himself sounds like he’s read this very article:
“But what about decorating the ship? There’s a shop that appears in many kingdoms where you can buy souvenirs and stickers using the purple coins you’ve gathered.
Collecting memories is one of the best parts of traveling, don’t you think?” –Kenta Motokura
The ability to make The Odyssey your own evolved the traditional fetch-quest nature of collectible gathering and drove the player to go that little bit of extra distance in exploring and engaging with the various kingdoms and mastering the game’s platforming.

Video game narratives and their accompanying worlds are monstrously large nowadays. As enjoyers of the medium, us gamers spend a lot of time in them.
Like, a lot.
In recognition of this, game developers have given gamers a number of distinct tools to document their triumphs and sagas — each with their own unique flavor of congratulations and commemoration.
For our enormous investment with huge worlds and long, winding quests, something tangible we can keep hold of provides value, meaning, memories. They make our journey — one which we have committed so much to — special, transcendent, our own.
They give us things no other entertainment medium can give.
So fuck photo mode. A picture isn’t worth a thousand words — my keepsakes are.
(A special thanks to the members of patientgamers for their contributions to this post that helped inform this essay with games I have and have not played.)

Arsenal's Invincibles - Tactic Guide

Introduction

Legendary team of the Premier League, 03-04 Arsenal left a deep mark in the English football, and has a solid claim to being the best squad in PL history. I present to you:
https://preview.redd.it/ulil1stdrm1d1.jpg?width=916&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9723e834a3a167d23815a4078942c22846ba3a24
But did you now this famous lineup barely played together? This team sheet was only used twice: against Liverpool (4-2) and Leicester (2-1). That season saw the injuries of Vieira and Ljunberg, the suspension of Lauren, and rotations with Bergkamp, Wiltord, Kanu, Reyes among others...
Friendly disclaimer: It's almost impossible to precisely replicate a real-life tactic in a video game like eFootball. Please understand that some analysis and implementation will necessarily be simplified to capture the essence of the team. Additionally, the frequent rotation in the team sheet complicates exact replication. During my research, I found that even the sources sometimes slightly contradicted each other regarding the roles of certain players. At the end of the article, I mention the best visual sources that helped me create this recreation, along with a link to watch the game against Liverpool on Footballia, a free website that broadcasts old matches.

How did the Invincibles play ?

First, even if put on paper as a classic 4-4-2, the reality shows more 4-2-3-1: Dennis Bergkamp was dropping, linking the play between midfield and attack, and being a support player in his iconic duo with Thierry Henry.
Second, the main feature of the tactic is to create an overload on the left: the left winger, Robert Pirès was an amazing dribbler and used to cut inside, allowing proximity and combinations with the striker. The flank he left was then attacked by the offensive Ashley Cole. With Thierry Henry used to drift to the left to then attack the central area, all those movements made the left side of the pitch the main focus of attack. On the right side, the winger and fullback were more classic.
Finally, the right midfielder, Gilberto, comes centrally to offer a pass lane to the centrebacks during the build-up. This leads the other midfielder, P. Vieira, to also overload the left side of the pitch. In terms of verticality, Vieira was a typical box-to-box, supporting the attack until the final third, and was used as a last runner to attack this left side.
https://preview.redd.it/i66nzn0frm1d1.png?width=1246&format=png&auto=webp&s=21ed1b24fb20525179829f7a853369d1fd6984a2
In defense, it was a standard 4-4-2.

How to implement it in eFootball?

~Defense:~
  • In defense, I will use an Attacking Fullback on the left: I want the LB to constantly attack the space behind my "inside winger", and by constantly I will give the Attacking Instruction. In my team, I opted for A. Davies.
  • On the right, I'll set Defensive Fullback: I don't need him to attack but to be a reliable player, especially when I'll suffer counters. The LB being high, I want him to compensate and not take unnecessary risks.

~Midfield:~
  • In the central midfield, Gilberto will be played by a DMF Anchor Man. To make him remain central despite being in a midfield duo, I will place him very centrally and give him the Instruction Anchoring.
  • My left midfield will also be a DMF Box-to-box. DMF because I want him available for the build-up, and to make sure he's not one of my first runners to attack the space: the winger, the striker and the LB should be the first to overload this area. I want him to be complete and with a good stamina as he's going to defend and attack. I noticed in-game that he'll also compensate for the LB position when A. Davies is not back in position yet. Other times he will drift to the right side to compensate during the attacks.

  • My left winger will be a LMF Roaming Flank. This playstyle is the one making the winger cut inside the most without the ball.
  • For my right winger, I do not need a specific playstyle. I will go back about his position in the Team's playstyle later, but I just need a winger comfortable on the ball. Being quite isolated, I want to be able to hold the ball or dribble a bit.
Because I need them to be in the midfield line in defense, please note that the wingers are LMF/RMF and not LWF/RWF.

~Attack:~
  • My left striker is a fast CF Goal Poacher. It's quite obvious I'm picking Kyllian M'Bappé, the natural heir of Henry.
  • Shortly, I use a SS Creative Playmaker for the right striker. This position gave me a lot of headaches. It was hard to replicate a false 9 in eFootball. After running multiple tests, no combination of playstyle/position gave me complete satisfaction. All the SS playstyles are way too offensives, even the Deep-Lying Forward who sounded ideal for that, and even the Classic N°10 make too much runs to be available to link the play. And if I fill the role with an AMF, I won't have the 4-4-2 in defense. I could use the Counter Target instruction, but if the player is in the midfield line of defense, it actually creates a gap in that line. I ultimately found the Creative Playmaker to be the closest role to replicate Bergkamp's play. Don't get me wrong, it's tactically efficient: the Creative Playmaker makes runs when the CF is lower (i.e used as a pivot), or will make runs on the right for the right winger to pass. It's just not as similar as the Dutchman role.

~Team's Playstyle:~
I use the Out Wide playstyle, but you can play it with your favorite manager. The reason i use this style is quite personal, there are too many runs in LBC/QC for me, and I find it difficult to slow the play when I need to. I also have enough difficulty replicating a false 9 for my second striker, so I don't want the team playstyle to make more incitations to run forwards. Also, because Out Wide (and Possession) tends to overwrite Player's Playstyle for the wingers, I can pick any kind of profile for the right winger.

  • The Anchor Man is very central and allows the other midfielder to participate in the overload.
  • The LMF will be wide until the ball switches to his side, triggering the LB attacking movement, hence forcing the LMF to cut inside.
  • In the screenshot, the formation looks a lot like the 4-2-3-1 expected, but in reality the SS tends to be closer to the CBs.

In defense, I have my 4-4-2:
https://preview.redd.it/zkyy0b9irm1d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed912bc41916fbf0982e6f4aea05ec3e2421d9dd

What makes a player fast in eFootball?

I want to take the opportunity of this tactic to discuss about what make players fast in this game. This is both a beginner's tutorial and a discussion as I'm quite sure about the fondamentals, but not about the nuances. In my opinion, it can be resumed in 5 attributes:
  • Speed: the maximum speed of a players OFF the ball.
  • Acceleration: how quickly the player will reach his speed stat.
  • Dribbling: maximum speed of a players ON the ball. Players run slower with the ball, and this speed is indicated by this attributes. This is why players with incredible speed will be caught if they don't have a good stat here. If I'd to guess a code implementation, I would say that the speed on the ball is: Dribbling attribute as the percentage of Speed.
  • Tight Possession: how quickly the player can turn, stop, change direction ON the ball. Otherwise the player will be sluggish and their momentum will slow them when they change direction. You'll notice that we can decern a pattern in player's profiles: some of them are fast with good dribbling but "low" Tight Possession". Those players are like "ball carrier", they are good at running straight forward with it, but way less efficient when it comes to zigzag and eliminate defenders. Players with a good Tight Possession will have the ball glued to their feet and will avoid tackles.
  • Balance: This is for me the big mystery box, it looks like the most important attribute, but I don't know to which extend as it seams to cover a lot of things:
    • Ability to resist physical contacts:
      • When shoulder to shoulder, this attributes will makes your player resists and remains on the ball.
      • In a shield situation, it's also the attributes for resisting. There is an excellent short video from LFFL about that here.
      • Ability to maintain other attributes in those situations.
    • Ability to maintain other attributes in unusual body positions (think acrobatic or 360's shots)
    • Enhancement of Tight Possession and Acceleration
    • Ability to quickly change direction off the ball

As you can see, the extend of Balance is not really clear. And the game having regular patches also influences the correct understanding of attributes generally. Also, it's known than Height and Weight have an influence on some or all of the attributes mentionned above (is a player with -15kg and lower attributes quicker and more responsive?). Another question: Is a player with 99 dribbling but 60 Speed faster on the ball than a player with opposing attributes?

Recap:

https://preview.redd.it/vbnizs8jrm1d1.png?width=3130&format=png&auto=webp&s=4faa6537fc0c5444632df41e13789111b77b3821
Notes for twisting the team: - Pick an Attacking Fullback on the right side - Switch the Box-to-box from DMF to CMF - The right striker's role - The Team's playstyle

Shapes:

Build-up: 3+2 ( CBs and RB + 2DMF) Offensive Shape: Considering how you count the DMF Box-to-Box that make runs into the final third: 3-1-6 or 3-2-5 Defensive Shape: 4-4-2

Conclusion

This weird looking formation shows you that terms like 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 are (necessary) simplifications when talking about teams. Movements have to be taken into account to describe animation, which is often overlooked to my taste. Systems creating an overload on a precise area of the pitch have an advantage in a card game like eFootball: it can nullify the cards difference between yours and your oppoent's. In simple words, he can have paid for the best defensive cards, a Bastoni or Tomiyasu cannot a resolve a 2vs4 simply by their overall level. As the overload is on a side, you still need to approach the center to have a good position to shoot but you get the idea.
It's quite similar to a tactic I posted a while ago, the "One Flank Overload", where two Classic n°10 being set on a side to liberate space for a winger. The main difference is that the Arsenal's tactic is way more fluid: the left side could be attack by the RB, the LMF and the left CF (and sometimes the DMF). The LMF and CF are expected to shoot and close the attack while the other tactic expects the winger to find a striker for tap-in or a header.
Despite being played in Out Wide (at least by me), it's really built for fast attacks with overloading an arear with pacey forwards. I'm a bit disappointed I could not exactly replicate Bergkamp's role, but that's probably for the best in terms of efficiency (in eFootball). It made the SS the second goal-scorer while IRL, the stat distribution of that unbeaten season was this:

Therefore, if I ever decided to suddenly risk prison time, risk my reputation, and risk enduring the wrath of modern-day “cancel culture” by scamming people out of their money:

2024.05.20 19:15 OrlonDogger A Witch at Midnight - Chapter 18

[First] [Previous] [Next]
A good shower helps temper my feelings a little bit. I don’t usually take multiple showers on a single day but, after the close encounter with Mom… I really felt like I needed one. I can’t help but feel a little guilty about it too, considering she would feel so terrible if she knew the distress talking with her caused me.

She tries her best to be good to you and you answer with such contempt. You always find ways to be worse, huh?

Ignoring myself is easier in the shower. The warm water makes it all feel so distant, after all… but eventually, I have to go out. I can’t just stay here until I die. There’s still work to be done, after all.

When the water stops running, I get out of the shower and dry myself up, get in my pajamas (as I don’t plan to go out or talk to any more people today) and then walk over to the living room’s table. My latest acquisition, ‘The Bastard’s Guide to Magic’, is resting right beside my computer and “The Butterflies of Creation”. To be honest, I am quite excited to start reading and practicing.

Or, well, I was pretty excited. Right now I am more like, neutral towards it. Neutral towards everything. I honestly am just going through the motions of life, and the more I think about that fact, the more bitter I become.

I am seriously considering just throwing the rest of the day in the garbage bin and just dedicating myself to playing and sleeping (again), when suddenly the computer dings. A message?

UndeadVito: hey.
UndeadVito: what’s your favorite kind of engine?

My eyes are glued to the screen for a solid three minutes, as my brain races to try and understand the question. Engine? As in, a car’s engine? Knowing Vito, it had to be a car’s engine. That boy has always been very into cars even at his young age… I remember telling him he was ‘obsessed’ with the stuff…

…To this day I regret saying that. I am sure it has contributed to him being cagey about his interests with others.

No, no time to get lost in guilt. Focus. He’s reaching out, that means he has an idea he wants to share, or he’s bored. Either way, I want to be there for him.

Time to push all that depression deep inside and ignore it for a bit.

xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: I dunno o.o hmm…
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Never really thought of it! uwu Are V-Engines still a thing?
UndeadVito: V-Engines are very much still a thing, ye.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Then that! n.n
UndeadVito: normie.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Bitch! UndeadVito: hey dude there’s nothing wrong with being a normie.
UndeadVito: I have normie friends.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Why are you even asking about this? =w=
UndeadVito: I am designing a new car, wanted to make one for ya.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Awww! n.n That’s very nice, remember to show me when you make the blueprints.
UndeadVito: how many cylinders?
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Shit, uhhhh o.o is 8 a good number?
UndeadVito: it’s an expensive number that’s what it is.
UndeadVito: but hey it’s your car.
UndeadVito: what’s with you and 8 tho?
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: I dunno, I like 8! ewe Sue me!
UndeadVito: I will, don’t think I wont.

I can’t help but smile a little bit. The boy seems to be in a good mood and, really, that got me in a better mood too. Though I know he is also very prone to lying these days… I just hope he is keeping himself out of trouble.

UndeadVito: stuff going well on your side, bro?
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: I… actually have some stuff on my mind. u.u
UndeadVito: oh?
UndeadVito: tell me man, Im here for ya.

Maybe it would be a good example for him to show some vulnerability…

xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: … I’m…
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: … thinking of changing careers.
UndeadVito: called it.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Fuck you UndeadVito: I dont mean it in a bad way dude.
UndeadVito: but as far as I can remember, you’ve looked miserable going to Uni.
UndeadVito: Ive never dared to really question you because, well.
UndeadVito: you’re an oldass man now, you know what you doing.
UndeadVito: but I was worried.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: So it really shows huh? u.u Yeah I’ve… never really felt at home here.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Don’t tell Mom and Dad <.< I wanna tell them myself, when I come to the decision.
UndeadVito: I wont, no worries.
UndeadVito: but thanks for telling me dude.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Thank YOU for listening n.n

This is where I could take the chance to actually ask him about stuff, but then everything would feel a little performative now, wouldn’t it?

xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Do you think I should tell them soon? u.u
UndeadVito: the sooner the better, bro.
UndeadVito: but take your time with things, don’t rush it if you don’t feel like it.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: … I’ll do it after vacation.
UndeadVito: good.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: But I will visit this next weekend n.n
UndeadVito: oh hell yea.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: Do you have vacations too? o.o
UndeadVito: yea.
UndeadVito: oh that reminds me.
UndeadVito: should I tell mom and dad that you’re comin?
UndeadVito: they’re assuming you wont.
xXxCallMeBigCookiexXx: … Yeah, tell’em. uwu I want to spend time with the family at least for a week.
UndeadVito: hell yea.
UndeadVito: alrite, gonna go draw.
UndeadVito: smell ya later.

I sigh for a moment, closing my eyes, feeling myself smiling. This kid… he seems to be trying, at least. Trying to keep the light alive, trying to keep a smiling facade. I should do it as well, no?

My mood is still not fully back up, so I can’t really push myself to open the mysterious Guide… instead, I connect back to Dejima to check the topics I started posting on. Just a few silly conversations about life in the Sleeper World (as they call it), talks about anime and videogames, nothing truly serious.

It reminds me of my old times on VirtualZone, back when I spent my afternoons writing fanfic and participating in collective writing (basically roleplay, really). I was never super popular or anything but, people knew my name from the many works I kept pushing back then. It felt nice to be known, at least a little bit… maybe I could start writing again, posting it here and all?

I think it’s a wonderful idea. If there is a place to post, of course.

Please don’t act like a clown in front of the other mages.

Sigh.

Checking on the Chatbox, I see two people in. Jeep creep is in there! The guy has always made me curious, maybe this is as good a time as any to talk to him. The problem is that the other person in the chat was souseiseki.

From what I gathered, it was Canny who kept that one under control, but there were no signs of the cool kid of the block here…

Don’t let her intimidate you. Just go in as usual! Focus on Jeep creep!

Right!

After taking a few deep breaths and trying to mentally prepare myself, I enter the chatbox.

Tav has connected to the Chatbox
Tav: Hey hey everyone n.n
souseiseki: Hi.
@ Jeep creep: well if it isn’t the person of the hour!
@ Jeep creep: how’s it going Tav? enjoying your time in the forum, I hope?
Tav: Yeah yeah, thanks for asking though =u=b Everyone has been nice!
souseiseki: I haven’t o.o
Tav: Ok, almost everyone eweUu
@ Jeep creep: don’t be a bully, Sou.
souseiseki: don’t tell me what to do old man o.o
souseiseki: just because you got the @ doesn’t mean you can tell me what to do
@ Jeep creep: that’s exactly what it means though.
souseiseki: you people cuddle this guy way too much, it’s disgusting o.o
souseiseki: I’m just being real o.o I don’t know him, I don’t have to be nice.
Tav: It’s fine, really! n.nUu I got used to mean girls in school.
@ Jeep creep: MEAN GIRLS xDDDD
souseiseki: bitch.
souseiseki: I’m the meanest girl.

That gets a chuckle out of me. I hope it was in good humor, at least…

The conversation continues from here, at least for a bit. I ask how they are doing. Souseiseki seems to be having a ‘rotten day’ in her own words, with her teacher giving her ‘the eye’ at college. I can’t believe it, but I find myself kind of empathizing with this bitch about that. I know what it is like to gain the negative attention of a teacher.

Jeep creep, whom Sou calls ‘Mort’ and he insisted I do the same, seemed to have a regular day working at a car repair shop. Now this gets my attention.

Tav: Ah! You work with cars then? n.n
souseiseki: that’s what he said o.o
@ Jeep creep: yep yep!
Tav: Oh nice, my brother is super into cars! o.o he hasn’t taught me much but, I’m curious…
Tav: Today he asked me what my favorite engine was xD
@ Jeep creep: oh yeah? and what did you say?
Tav: Oh shit, not this again OwO
Tav. I said V-engine! V8!
@ Jeep creep: ah hah, a classic!
souseiseki: normie o.o
Tav: That’s what he said! ;w; But what was I supposed to say!? I don’t know zilch about cars!
souseiseki: me neither and even I know that’s a normie one o.o
@ Jeep creep: nothing wrong with liking a popular choice, they’re popular for a reason after all!

Well the man seems mature after all, nice and kind. Although, now that Sou has pointed out they were ‘coddling me’, I am wondering if all this kindness from them was just a front…

No. There is no need to start doubting everyone now, that would only make things more unpleasant. I honestly rather think people are being sincere.

I am thinking when suddenly, a new person pops in.

Canned Tea has joined the Chatbox.
Canned Tea: sup bitches, bros and non-binary hoes
souseiseki: hey canny
@ Jeep creep: hello there cancan
Tav: Hey Canny! n.n!
Canned Tea: what are we talking about?
@ Jeep creep: cars
Canned Tea: my favorite, let’s go

It’s incredible how much Sou mellows when Canny is around. She’s like a completely different person! Attentive, calm, may I even say happy? The conversation devolves into nonsense real soon, but that’s alright by me. I am used to nonsense being thrown around, no real problem…

Feeling better?

I think so… I think.

I think I am finally ready to open that first page of the book.

Tav: Alright everyone, I am leaving for now :c I have work to do!
Canned Tea: ah hah, so you found it huh?
Tav: I did, I did! >w< it was hard but, I did!
souseiseki: what are we talking about now?

I doubt for a second. Can I even talk about this book in the chatbox? Considering it is supposed to be a secret…

Canned Tea: things
Canned Tea: and stuff
Canned Tea: nunya biz
souseiseki: o.o
souseiseki: you’re getting awfully chummy with this one.

Is that jealousy I feel in the air? I can’t help but smirk a little bit there. But I shake it off immediately. No, don’t start trouble!

Homewrecker.”

We don’t even know if those two are a thing! Not to mention, it is not even like that. We’re just…

… Can I really say we’re friends this early?

Acquaintances. We’re acquaintances.

Canned Tea: no idea what you talkin about here
Canned Tea: it’s nothing
souseiseki: o.o
souseiseki: if you say so.
@ Jeep creep: ahhh children these days
@ Jeep creep: it’s so cute
souseiseki: shut the fuck up mort.
Tav: lol Anyways, see you all! n.n/
Tav has disconnected from the Chatbox.

With a satisfied sigh, I turn to check on the book, carefully opening the old thing and whispering the keywords once again, this time watching the ink swirl and shift around the page like the waters in a rowdy river.

2024.05.20 17:14 qlf9 (Also) Ranking Every Course I've Ever Taken at Cornell

Saw a similar post earlier by u/mythos2468 and I thought I'd make one of my own.
Disclaimer: I'm a bit of a masochist and purposefully took a lot of hard courses throughout my time here; these rankings represent my opinions only.
EDIT: I don't mean to disparage anyone with these rankings: to be honest, I oftentimes wish I didn't take as heavy of a courseload as I did throughout my time here since it left me with little time to do much else. It's completely valid to not be as insane as I was and take courses that leave you with more time to do the things you love.
S TIER
CS 2112: So glad I took this class; it pretty much shaped my future at Cornell. Programming assignments were instructive, lectures by Prof. Myers were always incredible, and it helped me meet some of the folks at Cornell who I now consider my closest friends.
CS 4120: My favorite class I've ever taken at Cornell. Prof. Myers is still such a great lecturer, content was super interesting, and though the projects were challenging, I had a ton of fun and made great friends through them. It also sparked my current interest in compilers :)
CS 6120: Prof. Sampson is a similarly great lecturer, and this is, in my opinion, an ideally structured class: low-stakes programming assignments that are at the same time very instructive, discussions on important compilers research papers, and a final project that you have freedom over. I also just love compilers.
CS 5414: The hardest class I've ever taken at Cornell, and yet also the most rewarding. Prof. Alvisi teaches you so much about distributed systems and, through a combination of tough problemsets and projects, forces you to think about them constantly. Workload is off the charts (even more so than 4120), but the result is so well worth it.
A TIER
CS 2802: Very solid class with challenging psets and take-home exams that often took me the entirety of the allotted time period to write up. Definitely learned a lot through it.
CS 4850: Another challenging class taught by Bobby Kleinberg; humbled me quite a lot but I did come out of it learning more than I had with 6820.
MATH 4330: Prof. Knutson is a great lecturer, and I did come out of the course with a new perspective on linear algebra. Only downside is that the exams were pretty challenging.
MATH 4500: Lectures were all pretty interesting despite going over my head a decent portion of the time. I also had to write a final paper about an adjacent topic to matrix groups, which helped me be a little less intimidated by theoretical math papers in general.
CS 6110: PL is fun! This class taught me a good amount about it and wasn't too much work. I just wish that there was more programming involved to see the concepts used in practice.
CS 6810: This class had very difficult problemsets (for me at least), and I was so lucky to have very talented friends to get me through them. Aside from that, the lectures were super cool and working on the final project made me a bit less intimidated by theoretical CS papers.
ANTHR 2420 (Nature-Culture): I liked this class a lot more than I was expecting; the content was very interesting (especially hearing the professor talk about his own research in anthropology in lecture), and the essays, while long, were rewarding as well.
B TIER
HIST 1200 (History of Food): All things considered, this was a pretty fun FWS, albeit a bit heavy on the writing and research paper side. The assignments were all quite creative, and I still enjoy looking back on the papers I wrote.
CS 4820: The content is pretty interesting (and Bobby Kleinberg is an incredible lecturer), but it being a core class (and the fact that I took it via Zoom), slightly detracted from the overall experience. Despite a difficult final, I still learned a lot through the class.
CS 6820: I would probably have ranked this class higher if I was more prepared for it when I took it; unfortunately, so much of the course content went over my head, and I didn't do terribly well on the assignments. Regardless, Bobby Kleinberg remains an incredible lecturer.
CS 3410: Class I didn't appreciate enough at the time. Bracy was a good lecturer and the content was interesting; I just found the grading to be quite unfair at times.
MATH 4130: My introduction into higher-level math, and all things considered, I enjoyed it. There's something about solving real analysis problems in this class that I found satisfying; the content itself felt dry though.
CS 4220: Another class that I largely enjoyed, but whose content felt dry to me. I did (sort of) learn Julia as well, though.
EAS 1700: As a secret earth science nerd I enjoyed this class far more than I should, and it was very chill assessment-wise as well.
CS 4410: Another class that I didn't appreciate enough when I took it; though at the time the material seemed dry (and I also had some issues with how it was organized), in retrospect it was all really valuable knowledge to have.
CS 4830: Interesting class with interesting psets and very valuable lecture notes; unfortunately, I didn't end up being terribly interested in cryptography as a whole.
CS 4787: Honestly a really well-run class: Prof. De Sa is a great lecturer, programming assignments are interesting and very instructive, and exams are, all things considered, fair. Again, the problem was me: I just didn't like ML that much.
MATH 4410: Just another average, reasonably interesting math class: combinatorics is a fun topic to explore.
CS 5220: I got practice with various parallel computing frameworks, but aside from that, it just felt like another standard project-based class.
CS 6861: The problemsets were interesting sometimes, but a lot of the lecture content unfortunately went a bit over my head.
C TIER
MATH 2930: Not too much to say about this class; I found it to be a standard Zoom-taught engineering math class.
MATH 2940: Same as 2930.
CS 4780: This class is almost certainly taught better now, but I chose to take it when it was asynchronous. As such, I found the content to be pretty dry and overall pretty underwhelming.
CS 3110: Similar to 4780; I took this class when it was asynchronous; as such, my learning experience was impacted quite a lot. I do find PL as a field to be quite interesting, but sitting through videos only does so much.
ARKEO 2668: Only reason I took this class is because it was very little work in an otherwise challenging semester. Nothing notable.
CS 4775: Didn't really learn all too much, unfortunately; at least there were no exams and the homeworks were largely doable.
D TIER
COML 1106 (Robots): The instructor was super nice and understanding, but I learned through the FWS that comparative literature as a field is not for me. I was writing about topics that I was not interested in at all.
SPAN 2090: It taught me (some) Spanish, but it was such a huge time sink and source of stress for me the semester I took it. Presentations were also graded super harshly.
CS 2850: I hated the fact that this class glossed over all the theory behind the concepts that were taught: it felt as though I was just memorizing formulas instead of understanding why they worked.
F TIER
CS 4740: When I took it, the lectures were almost always very confusing, every project without fail had 10+ updates and corrections after it was released (sometimes as soon as 4 days before the due date), and the exam questions were oftentimes ambiguous with very specific interpretations that the graders wanted you to have. Easily the most disorganized course I've ever taken here.
COGST 1101: Lectures were so dry, and there were topics on exams that were covered only in lecture that were not on the review slides. Easily one of the most unfair class I've ever taken exam-wise, and the only class that I S/U'ed.
CS 4450: Another one of the most unfair classes I've taken grading-wise. The homeworks are a joke, and the exams are all either multiple-choice or "write in a single answer" with no partial credit, so just one or two mistakes on a question worth a lot of points can and will completely tank your course grade. Do not take this class.
