I am new to Fallout. I have played Skyrim many times, and I even got a kick out of Starfield, but for whatever reason I never got into Fallout. The show obviously inspired me. I have been playing Fallout 4 for about a week and I love it. It's like the exploration of Skyrim but with gun combat from Starfield. It's like Starfield but not boring, it's like Skyrim but with miniature nuclear weapons.
There is really only one thing that annoys me: I truly can not stand the hacking minigame. I understand how it works, but I just hate it. It's quite possibly the most annoying mini mechanic I have ever encountered.
On PS5 and other consoles there is a "Creation Club" with mods and such, but I find the search functionality kind of...sucks? Is there any sort of mod that either bypasses the hacking, gives infinite attempts, hides the wrong words, anything? I have never really cared about or used mods, I haven't used cheat codes since the Game Genie days when you had to buy a cartridge to stick into the NES or SNES and type in codes. But this blasted hacking minigame has me looking to cheat. Or hack, I suppose, I want to hack the hacking game. Is anyone aware of a way to do this on console?

Hi I'm new to modding Skyrim on the Xbox, and feel both overwhelmed and a little underwhelmed. Now there isn't much to be done about the underwhelmed part but the overwhelmed part i wanted to ask some help.

- What are some good NPC and PC character model replacers to pretty them up, I'm not necessarily after every npc being a supermodel or anything, just better looker graphics-wise. This includes Khajiit and Argonians if possible, i've noticed so few people care about them. Also if it is possible to make them digitigrade again, only if possible. I tried to look into being an Alfiq, so sad that doesnt seem to have been made, despite there being mods to add them.
- I know there are some good magic mods and i looked for them, but can't seem to locate them in the mod menus, I can locate parts of some, like apocalypse, or Odin, but not like the main mod i need, especially since some seem to imply needing other mods, or creation content i can't afford. I'm looking to play a summoner of sorts.
- Then since I'm new any other mods you guys recommend? I know it's a little pervy, but any xbox skimpy armors or such that are good? I'm not too heavy into cheating, but if there are good items, places, or other thing you guys might suggest.

From my perspective, Taylor is engaging in a dialogue with herself in which she comments on the complexities of self-denial and suppression that we sometimes resort to in order to conform or appease others (Note: I admit I may have projected my own personal struggles onto the lyrics of the song, but still wanted to explore these concepts in her music). submitted by thankyoutrish to GaylorSwift [link] [comments] I was supposed to be sent away But they forgot to come and get me I was a functioning alcoholic ’Til nobody noticed my new aestheticFrom my perspective, she intended her closeted self to be “sent away” (suppressed) to the point of extinguishment. But this part of herself couldn’t be completely erased, and so it was instead ignored and left to linger. As a result, this self remains trapped in a limbo (locked inside a vault?), neither fully alive nor dead, but rather exists as a powerless observer of her own life. I always interpreted the line about alcoholism as her saying that alcoholism was what her new aesthetic was and that nobody noticed that she was using alcohol to numb her closeted feelings. She is committing “quiet treason” because she is not only denying her own needs in this sense, but could also be adopting harmful behaviors preventing her from finding self-acceptance such as compulsory heterosexuality (comphet) and internalized homophobia. The term “quiet treason” captures the betrayal of self through silent compliance with societal norms that deny her true identity and well-being. \"What about your quiet treason?\" In the music video for Fortnight, Post Malone (whom I- as well as many others on this sub it seems- interpret as another version of Taylor herself) is one of the doctors administering the electro-shock therapy, and also the one who pulls the plug on the procedure upon witnessing the pain it inflicts on her. Electric shocks were historically used on homosexuals as part of aversion therapy in an attempt to change an individual's sexual identity to align with heterosexual norms. The paradox of Post Taylor both engaging in and stopping the procedure could symbolize Taylor's internal struggle with self-acceptance. Taylor discussing internalized misogyny in the Miss America documentary. And for a fortnight there, we were forever Run into you sometimes, ask about the weather Now you're in my backyard, turned into good neighbors Your wife waters flowers, I wanna kill herDespite her efforts, she can't completely suppress this closeted part of herself and it resurfaces periodically, every once in a while for a fortnight. In these moments, she grapples with accepting this aspect of her identity, finding brief periods (“for a fortnight there”) where it seems like she might finally succeed and find freedom from the closet. But heteronormative societal norms and homophobia ultimately cause her to retreat from fully embracing her queer identity and coming out. She may also wrestle with feelings of self-doubt and the need for validation from others. Nevertheless, her closeted self remains a constant lurking presence, haunting her from beneath the surface of her shallow encounters (“ask about the weather”). I see the “good neighbors” as symbolizing the heterosexual relationship she maintains to keep the public satisfied and to avoid confronting her struggles with her queer identity. The neighbors (her and her public boyfriend) are considered “good” because they adhere to expectations and are approved by the fans, media, and the public. At the beginning of Miss Americana, Taylor says that her \"entire moral code, as a kid and now, is a need to be thought of as good.\" When she says, "Your wife waters flowers," I envision her addressing her own husband in this scenario, where the "wife" symbolizes the version of her that has conformed to traditional, domestic heteronormativity. While there's nothing inherently wrong with being a traditional wife, it contradicts her true self and what she desires as a queer woman (“No deal, the 1950s shit they want from me” from Lavender Haze). This conflict is further illustrated when her closeted self expresses a desire to "kill her," representing a desire to kill the “her” that’s in a heterosexual relationship participating in the facade of the perfect wife because the public desires it, leaving her closeted self feeling bitter and abandoned because she was not chosen instead. All my mornings are Mondays stuck in an endless February I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporaryMonday is the first day of a new week, when the week starts over. The fact that all of her mornings are Monday mornings could symbolize a perpetual return to the start of a constant cycle of internal conflict. This also reminds me of a quote from the 1999 film Office Space, in which one of the characters says to another “Sounds like somebody’s got the case of the Mondays.” The phrase was said to refer to the depression one experiences when having to return to work after the weekend (or maybe in this case, the fortnight). \"The case of the Mondays:\" Taylor depicted in an office setting, reinforcing a sense of monotony and tedium in her life. I find it interesting she describes the month of February as endless, despite it being the shortest month of the year. Considering the idea of repeated cycles mentioned throughout this analysis, this brings to my mind the 1993 film Groundhog Day in which the plot centers around a man who becomes stuck in a time loop on February 2nd (Groundhog Day) and must relive this same day over and over again. From the 1993 film \"Groundhog Day,\" in which a man is forced to relive the same day in February repeatedly. The Groundhog Day tradition itself originates from Pennsylvania, Taylor's home state, and revolves around the superstition that if a groundhog emerges from its burrow on this day and sees its shadow, it retreats back into its den which predicts an extended winter. But if it does not see its shadow, spring will arrive soon. This may be a reach, but you could think of this as Taylor trying to “come out” of her burrow (the closet) only to be startled by her shadow self (her anxieties and fears, the parts of herself she’s afraid of sharing with the public) which causes her to retreat back into hiding for what feels like another inevitable winter. Taylor's shadow self. And I love you, it's ruining my life I love you, it's ruining my life I touched you for only a fortnight I touched you, but I touched youShe may yearn to embrace who she is and continue pursuing her love for writing and performing music, but may have had to make difficult sacrifices in this realm in order to progress in her career. The pressure to uphold these sacrifices, despite the heavy burden they impose, could stem from a desire to avoid disappointing various stakeholders in her life like the public, her fans, and even her own family. This may have led her to prioritize her music career and fame over the freedom to openly express her sexuality. It's clear she cherishes her career and the doors that fame has opened for her, but the continuous suppression of her sexuality over time has taken a toll on her mental health. The song carries a sense of robotic resignation and defeat, reflecting her closeted self's enduring wait. It seems her closeted self has nearly given up hope, clinging to those rare "fortnights" when Taylor could truly feel whole and not just a hollow facade to please others. Concerned over appearing ungrateful for voicing her struggles with fame? And for a fortnight there, we were together Run into you sometimes, comment on my sweater Now you're at the mailbox, turned into good neighbors My husband is cheating, I wanna kill himThis time she alters the final line in this verse to tell us her husband is cheating and she wants to kill him. In conjunction with my other interpretations, I’m guessing she’s hinting that her husband is unfaithful due to her unhappiness in their relationship influenced by her closeted sexuality. In considering that this is a beard she’s with, the line could suggest a contracted arrangement that allows both partners to seek affairs outside of their artificial relationship. Her desire to “kill him” could symbolize the deep unfairness she feels in being in a loveless lavender marriage that she never wanted. Over time, her resentment towards him has grown, mirroring the enduring chill and discontent of “endless February.” Meet the \"good neighbors.\" Thought of callin' ya, but you won't pick up 'Nother fortnight lost in America Move to Florida, buy the car you want But it won't start up 'til you touch, touch, touch meThe line “Thought of callin’ ya” makes me think back to when Taylor answers the phone in Look What You Made Me Do and she says, “I’m sorry / But the old Taylor can’t come to the phone right now / Why? Oh, ‘cause she’s dead.” My interpretation is that her closeted self is thinking of calling the old Taylor, the one who perhaps embraced her sexuality and true self more freely in her youth. This is the Taylor before she “learned civility” and “used to scream ferociously” any time she wanted (from Seven). But the old Taylor won’t pick up the phone, because she has been “killed” off in favor of Taylor the Brand. \"I'm sorry, but the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now...\" "Another fortnight lost in America" represents yet another missed opportunity to fully embrace her sexuality and take pride in it enough to come out. The ongoing disappointments from these lost fortnights, coupled with the anxiety over the potential judgment she could face as well as the risky impact it could have on her career, can make denial and suppression feel necessary just to get through another day in America. |

On The One and Pachanga productions will be involved in community outreach and utilizing our resources to help those in need. I've been playing the game since a couple of years back (I think) and have over 100 or so hours, and I absolutely love it. However, three or so months ago I was about to start up the game when I got the EULA. I was like "oh, cool, they're more official now" and started reading through it. It just feels so screwed that they'd write something like it, considering that they're a small company. I stopped playing the game, uninstalled it, and forgot about it, and just now I went to redownload it, thinking that it may not have been as bad as I initially thought it was...

To summarize the parts of the EULA that really annoy me:
- You don't own the game, you buy the license to play it from them and they can revoke it at any time, for any, or no, reason.
- You're not allowed to make money off of any videos you make of the game unless you've "added enough of your own content" which would be "for example commentary," which is sort of understandable, I guess, but they also outline that they can take any and all footage down for showing "hacking, cheating, or any other distasteful, obscene, or unlawful behavior." What constitutes as "cheating," "hacking," or "distasteful?" It's entirely subjective!
- That's not even the worst part, if you find a glitch and "exploit any bugs or mistakes which appear within the game or any of the services associated with the game" they can straight up revoke your license, which means you can't play the game. It just pisses me off, my favorite part of the game was that it was janky. I could play it seriously, or go explore out of bounds if I find any way to get outside the map. Also the cheating rule... What, are they gonna rip my ability to play the game just because I use cheat engine to explore the map, get items / coins, or infinite health in singleplayer? I'm a strong believer of the "your game, your rules" motto, so it really frustrates me, but I also apparently don't own the game anymore so I guess that's out the window. If they should ever see this; people reverse engineer games and "cheat" because they want to see it all, they do it because they love the game. This is ridiculous.
- They also outline that they're allowed to collect data of your game activity as well as steam ID number to "improve your game experience," this is the least maddening one of them all, but it still feels weird that they'd even want that data. What are they gonna do with it, see that I play COD and implement guns into the game?

Character PersonaAlignment: Lawful NeutralPersonality Traits: Very prideful and honorable, though he is clearly carrying the heavy weight of past sins. He follows something like a Bushido code and is learning to embrace balance and self perfection as well as to appreciate the beauty in darkness instead of wielding its powers for evil. Ideals and Goals: He primarily seeks to redeem himself, if not in the eyes of the world than at least in his own eyes and perhaps the eyes of the goddess who pulled him from the path of evil. For right now he is focusing on doing all he can to protect the lives of others and embrace the ideals of his goddess Xan Yae . Bonds and Flaws: Due to some of his past deeds and some of the forbidden knowledge he obtained he is almost perpetually on edge and at least slightly uncomfortable. His greed can often be a challenge for him to cope with and though he does prefer finer clothes he absolutely refuses to wear armor or any sort of heavy clothing, even if doing so would save his life. OtherVisual concepts: Overall his race has little to no art from what I can find so I'm vaguely equating it the various types of Dragonborn throughout D&D. His specific breed is described as having a large tail they can attack with so that is pretty important. Other than that the concept is pretty vague right now as I haven't been able to find anything I'm really satisfied with. In the attached reference three of the upper right pictures are AI I found while searching for dragonborn or anthro dragon art, and the one with the long white hair is an image of the drow-dragon (or zekyl) from the Forgotten Realms, seeing as how the Draaki can transform into a drow appearance I thought it was fitting to include. The bottom right image is included mostly because it's an unarmored dragonborn-looking thing with a fancy polearm and I kinda like his proud attitude too (also I've always been fond of harem pants lol). Through the guidance of Xan Yae (and a bit of help from an organization that gives villains and oathbreakers a "second chance") he is trying to put his life back on track. He has connected with several organizations that have strict regimented codes of honor and rules and is using this as a bit of a crutch to keep himself in check, not exactly trusting himself without the threat of many powerful warriors hanging over his head. This has eventually led to him training with and swearing allegiance to the knights of Varisia, and though he doesn't have any specific station as of yet he is expected to protect the citizenry and answer the call when needed. At the start of this campaign he is returning to the town of Sandpoint where he spent much of his earlier years and even through his dark times it was a place he visited frequently. Though the local sheriff is absolutely keeping his eye on the hulking black dragonfolk, Luyosirth is doing his best to make amends. Surprisingly, aside from the sheriff, many of the townsfolk seem willing to forget the past. In fact he quickly made fast friends with the proprietor of the Rusty Dragon tavern, one well known to cater to adventurers of all walks of life. As you know, Dufaux possesses an ability called “Answer Talker” that allows him to do pretty much whatever he wants…
1 During the fight against Ropes, he was shown to be able to anticipate any attack his opponents used, and on a way greater scale than Apollo. This only ability is enough to make him a very dangerous human. But this doesn’t stop here.
2 In a flashback of his childhood with the mad scientist, he is described as someone able to find the answers to “some of the greatest questions that plague mankind”, no less….
3 After the first fight against Clear, he appeared out of nowhere, read everyone’s mind and gave them advice that allowed all the nakamas to become monsters in only 10 months. Kanchome went from being one of the weakest crybaby ever to Aizen in only 3 days…
4 Before the final battle, he set up several strategies, I’m refering to Umagon and Sunbeam switching to “Plan J” after the first use of Shin Kuria, to anticipate Clear’s potential moves.
5 80 days before the final battle, he was also able to tell that Clear was “90% healed” and he added that he was worried about an hidden power Clear had. He was not able to read his power level or understand the true nature of Shin Kuria Seunousu, though…
This guy is literally a walking cheat code. And this can be a problem : he has to be nerfed in some way so the plot can progress. He revealed way too many abilities after Zeon’s defeat. Fighting full power, he now really seems almighty. And considering that, as Raiku said in a tweet in 2013, Zeon would end up getting a shin-level spell, how could anyone beat them if they joined forces again ? Could you imagine that ? Full-power Dufaux + Shin-level user adult Zeon is absolute overkill… One thing is sure : this is not going to happen anytime soon… So here are several questions :
- Where is he and how big will his part be, in Gash 2 ?
- Will he ever meet the mad scientist again ?
- Will he and Zeon ever get Baou before Gash probably gets it back ?
- Can Dufaux beat Goku ?
Personally, I believe he has a key role to play. As far as we know, Beliel’s priority is to target the humans from the top 10. Dufaux finished 12th. Him not being one of the main targets is a HUUUUUUGE mistake… Or maybe he has already found him, after he “captured” ( or worse… ) Zeon ? Impossible for Dufaux not to know what is currently happening in the human world… He must have “sensed” something. So, where is he ?
For the mad scientist, I’m not sure he will meet him… Although I would truly like to know more about that man and the weapons he was trying to create using Dufaux abilities and the results of his studies, he doesn’t really seem central to the current plot. Considering how Dufaux hates him, I’m surprised that he didn’t use his AT to find where he lives, after he and Zeon met each other, to give him the Zigadirasu treatment… Plot convenience, I guess. Dufaux would have been so pissed that he would have unlocked Zigadirasu Shin Zakeruga right from the start of the battle…
Finally, Baou… Somewhere on the net, maybe here, maybe not, I’ve read a theory that Beliel would give BAOU to Zeon and use his anger in order to make it evil again without having to sacrifice his own life. I like that theory because it would give Zeon a chance to prove his father wrong once and for all. Also, it would be a perfect opportunity for him and Dufaux to show their growths. No more hatred, no more sad power… These two deserve a redemption arc, to be honest.

Just wanted to share how I managed to fix Halo Infinite freezing up and resulting in a crash every ~7th game on Windows 10, in hopes it helps someone fix those annoying crashes as well
Make sure you verify that's the reason for your crashes as well in %TEMP%\crash_report\crash_info.txt before trying to fix it with the approach described below
It involves modifying the type of memory structure used by the game by adapting the game's exe application manifest. However, due to recent addition of Easy AntiCheat the game won't even start if you modify the game's executable file.
It adds a windows registry entry, which will tell the system to use a different memory layout for Halo's game executable. 10+ games later I didn't crash a single time, this fix seems to have worked.
This registry entry above will also start Halo Infinite with a high priority CPU allocation, which means it will help against dips in performance.
The mitigation options defined above don't do anything with this zero value, I just added them as a reminder in case I needed additional tweaks to the runtime environment of the executable in future.

I scoured the interwebs and found out how to determine why my game crashed. This post helped me find out the reason I crashed so often, which was the same as u/AetopiaMC 's one.Make sure you verify that's the reason for your crashes as well in %TEMP%\crash_report\crash_info.txt before trying to fix it with the approach described below

Next my quest lead me to how to fix the issue. As I was already deep into the rabbit hole, I tried to find an alternative way to change the game's memory structure. Luckily, I found an online PDF on how to achieve this exactly.It adds a windows registry entry, which will tell the system to use a different memory layout for Halo's game executable. 10+ games later I didn't crash a single time, this fix seems to have worked.
The fix itself
Put the following code into a file, and save it with the reg extension, e.g. put it into a file named halo_infinite_crash_fix.reg. Make sure there's an empty line at the end of the file:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\HaloInfinite.exe] "MitigationOptions"=hex(b):00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 "FrontEndHeapDebugOptions"=dword:00000004 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\HaloInfinite.exe\PerfOptions] "CpuPriorityClass"=dword:00000003Once you save that text into the file, double click on it to apply these changes to your system. Additional performance improvement recommendations
- disable "limit inactive frame rate" which I guess may have caused one other type of crash I encountered related to GPU Hang

Stretches to align the Peroneus brevis ligament/tendon
I (28M) have rolled both ankles on and off for the last 12 years. Started with one bad roll playing basketball in college and switched back and forth between ankles ever since. I'll roll my ankle walking, getting out of a golf cart, basically if I do anything without putting some attention to where my foot is going, they may roll. I joke that I have elastic ankles bc I'll roll it bad enough to have to either jump to catch myself from falling or knee to the ground, but the pain only lasts a few hours and I get back to even fairly quickly...
That said, within the last 2 months I've been experiencing a different pain that can be unbearable at times. I sit at a desk for work and apparently have an issue with crossing my feet while sitting. So that one ankle sits on the other. Anyway, after sitting for a bit I'll try to stand up or even just dorsey flex my feet bc they are feeling stiff, and I get a tremendous pain in the left outside part of the high ankle (L). I cannot walk and can barely even stand. I try to massage the ankle and stretch it out, but I have no idea what I'm doing and nothing is helping the pain. After enough time I do something with my foot whether it be shaking it or re-crossing the ankles to try to nix whatever I did, and the pain will just magically disappear with no residual pain or symptoms. It's astonishing.
I did some research at the online doctors office and believe it to be something related to the Peroneus brevis tendon or ligament. It says that sitting down can cause the ligament to "slip" from it's position. I don't know what to do to treat it other than going to a Ortho or PT, which I figure will either lead to surgery or recommended workouts. I'd rather do workouts on my own to strengthen the surrounding muscles. But in the meantime I would like some recommendations as to different potential stretches, massages, or cheat codes to re-align the ligament when it slips out of place. Much appreciated.

I want to provide an easy to understand sum up what the Kernel level access actually means and why it's a double edged sword.
A lot of you folks talk about Kernel level access as some kind of buzzword and others compare vanguard to user-level anti cheats.
User-Level applications:
A regular user level application runs as "your user" within its permission boundaries of your windows user in terms of file access and so on.
Most of us have access to all files on our computer, meaning that also all applications we run have access to all files on our computer.
An important topic is memory access: every application can ask the OS for memory. The OS provides a certain slice of memory and the app can work with it (let's say address 1-1000). The app is able to read and write this slice. Another app, like chrome, might have the slice 2000-3000 and is able to read/write it. If one app attempts to access the memory space of another application, the OS/"the Kernel" denies the access. This is one of the most important security concepts, since lots of applications hold secrets in memory, at least for a short amount of time (e.g. you just typed in your online banking details).
For user level anti-cheat software it's hard to detect cheats because it cannot monitor what other apps are doing right now. Does someone calculate "stuff"/"a dodge" by analyzing leagues video output or similar? It simply can. not. know. easily.
Kernel level drivers:
A Kernel level app completely sidesteps all of the concepts mentioned above. It is allowed to access every part of memory it wants, at any given moment in time.
As anti-cheat software I am suddenly now very aware which application does what. I am fucking god in terms of monitoring memory.
BUT - if there is any security issue with vanguard itself and someone can inject code: He can read all the memory. You just typed your online banking password in chrome? Thanks. You opened a password management tool like KeePass and therefore all passwords you use are in memory? Guess they're mine. You just established a secure VoIP connection via discord? Don't care. The unencrypted voice stream is in memory.
I do not want to insinuate riot games would do anything like that on purpose, just make people aware of the impact of a security issue in vanguard.
Hope I was able to give non-pc-guys a bit more insight what this discussion is even about.
