I want to start off by saying I am not a Browns fan in any manner. This is a purely dynasty motivated post without bias. The only time I've ever been arrested/jailed was in Cleveland too, so fuck em 😂
TLDR; The Browns offense has many interesting opportunities to acquire players at a relatively low cost. The offense has nuclear potential in my opinion. All of Deshaun Watson, Foreman, Amari, Jeudy, and Njoku present good buy opportunities currently. Aidan Robbins and Cedric Tillman are worth stashing. Long post here on out, don't bother with your "not reading that" comments please 🙏
In 2023, the Browns offense ran the 2nd most play action in the NFL (Lions 1st, Browns 2nd, Dolphins 3rd, Seahawks 4th, Packers 5th). The Browns also finished 1st in the league in total plays run per game at 69.3. (I believe that was more Alex Van Pelt than Stefanski and this tempo is likely to slow down).
Alex Van Pelt has moved on to the Patriots. He Is a disciple of the 90s Bills K-Gun offense, and this is where that fast-tempo comes from. (Patriots fans, he backed up Jim Kelly for 9 years, had a key role within the mid 2010s Packers offense, and was Burrow's rookie year QB Coach).
His offensive scheme clashes with Stefanski's in many ways. They have very few similarities. But he is a proven commodity when it comes to getting the most out of "Improvisational Quarterbacks". The hire is clearly to get the most out of Deshaun Watson more than anything in my opinion. But Dorsey's known for having one of the more complex option-route-focused schemes in the league. The main knock on him is his stubborn play-calling. Opposing players said last year they knew the plays often because of the quantity of times they run repetitive plays without adjustments.
Best case scenario, Stefanski keeps being the 1A voice on offense and Dorsey the 1B with a focus on returning Deshaun Watson to Texans form, rather than installing a whole new scheme mirroring his gameplan with the Bills.
Chubb could come back like AP, or he could flame out quickly and be done. To me, he's the best back here if healthy but I'm not willing to pay a 2nd for him to roll the dice on his age/health. He's also been restructured to 2.5m a year and is a free agent in 2025. If he's fine, he's probably still Dalvin Cook/Zeke next year.
Foreman is on waivers or an afterthought. You can steal him and he'll be the week 1 starter behind this group of mashers. He's never not produced when given opportunity. He turned 28 last month and has only 552 career carries. The value-cost ratio is all wrong with this player.
Aidan Robbins is a 6'3 240lb Undrafted RB that the Browns had a 30 Visit with predraft and signed immediately. He runs a 4.53 and is tough to bring down. I could see him getting reps.
Ford seems like the odd man out. I think the Browns are done with him. Brought in Foreman and Nyheim Hines and drafted Robbins. Shows a lack of faith in Ford at the very least... I'd be selling now if I owned him before he becomes the 3rd-5th string back...
Cooper will be 30 next month, but he just had 72/1250/5 with a bunch of bandaid quarterbacks. He's cheap. Definitely worth a future 2nd if your contending. If Dorsey gets a big say in the passing game, Cooper could be force fed targets to the tune of Stefon Diggs the last few years.
I am not a fan of Jeudy, Moore, Thrash, or David Bell out of personal preference, but if you believe in Jeudy, he is a buy for sure at this price point and I wouldn't be surprised if he broke out given his draft capital.
Reports have come out from Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot that Cedric Tillman is going to be in the slot a lot this year and she's predicting he will be the Browns "breakout" guy. I am on the Tillman train because he's free, and he was a 3rd round pick. He didn't play hardly at all until week 12, but did decent with Flacco the last 6 weeks.

B R E A KOffensive Line. Jedrick Wills was drafted 10th overall in 2020, and Jack Conklin was signed in 2020 and is a 2x 1st team AP. Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller have 7 AP teams between them. Ethan Pocic has posted back to back 70+ PFF seasons. They struck gold last year with rookie tackle Dawand Jones, and drafted IOL Zak Zinter in the 3rd round. This line is stacked and should be in the PFF top 5 all year long. Conklin tore his ACL 23 snaps into week 1. Wills went down week 9 with an MCL. Both will be back.
B R E A KDeshaun Watson. Right now, Watson goes anywhere between 8th and 12th rounds in Superflex startups. Even if you dislike Watson, he represents a nice value opportunity simply by betting on Ken Dorsey's history of fixing unorthodox quarterbacks. You can get him super cheap because everyone hates him. He's in the same doghouse as AJ Dillon and QJ because of the sexual assault stuff and his IR season. If Dorsey gets more freedom, expect a LOT more passing from this Browns team than past seasons. I would also expect him to be given a few designed-runs per game, making him extra useful in 4pt PTD leagues. Watson is a buy 💪
B R E A KRunning Backs. This is possibly the toughest backfield in the league to evaluate (Broncos, Chargers, Dolphins, Panthers are other candidates).

B R E A KLastly, Njoku. I love David Njoku. He's fast, jacked, and already productive and paid. He's also incredibly tough and fairly smart (24 Wonderlic). He had 6 catches against the Ravens tough defense 2 days after burning half his face off 💪🫡 Between Watson coming back, Dorsey's arrival, and the Browns ability to run play action; Njoku seems like a buy at his current price point. I honestly have no idea what that is 🤷♂️

Me (15f) is writing this down right now cause for a long time i had thoughts of just leavin my mom to stay with my dad. My mom is a great mom she tried her best but that not the problem it her old husband that the problem and my brother is the problem as well my brother (9m) is currently living with his dad let him his dad aj for now
aj was in my life until i was 8-7 years old and everyday when i am reminded of aj i just get an ick everything i see my brother i hate my brother and not a sibling hate like i generally hate my brother and this is why
Ever since my mom married aj my mom basically stopped caring for me she would feed me and bathe me and stuff but she would always be by aj side everything was about aj soon aj got my mom pregnant and my brother was soon born
i was happy at first to have a sibling that actually lives with me but over time i hated it because everything was about him now .. my mom on the weekends would take me to my dad house while she has the weekend with my brother and her husband aj
my dad is a kind man but he drinks a lot he would drink around me but he never hitted me or yelled at him or even pushed me aside my dad made everything about me
My dad never hitted me but aj did he wasnt even my father and he still hitted me, he forced me to eat food and my mom didnt care my mom just let it happen i told my mom that aj hitted me on my butt so hard i couldnt sit down cause how bad it hurted i remember crying so much that i fell asleep starved cause i didnt wanna go downstairs and see aj face

My mom tried her best after from moving to different houses in different parts. Ages still found us. I never finished 3rd grade. Because the amount of times we had to move because of aj I never made friends I never had a normal childhood like other people did. I soon gain social anxiety. And nightmares I remember I tried to tell my dad that AJ was hitting me, but when I told my aunt first, my dad sister she told me to not tell him and I asked why and she told me that my dad would kill him meaning I would never see him again, so I kept quiet this running and hiding and moving because of AJ‘s been happening my whole life last year in 2022 my brother told his school that my mom abuses him just because he wanted to see his dad, so CPS and DCYF came to my mom’s house, and I was questioned my brother was questioned. My mom was questioned, and my mom went to court. She told the court that AJ could have custody of my brother now this is where hell starts because I hated my brother ever since he was born I can’t stand being in the room with him. I can’t stay in a room with him because he makes me so mad so every time my mom told me to watch him I would but I always stay in my room I would sleep the whole day just so I can ignore my brother until my mom gets home now. My mom doesn’t get home until eight or 9 o’clock at night. My brother is nine years old and he likes cars he likes games. He lacks refinement in his route running, evident in instances where he struggles to maintain footing, leading to incompletions and interceptions (FSU, Alabama, and Florida). Additionally, his decision-making raises red flags, highlighted by a 2023 arrest for illegally concealing a firearm while on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
Rome Odunze: Rome Odunze is a big-bodied receiver that has prototypical size and speed. He has exceptional hands and elite body control that allow him to consistently pull in contested catches. Rome is already building a rapport with fellow rookie Caleb Williams, and they should have a strong connection for years to come. However, his year one fantasy impact may be limited by a rookie QB and a competitive receiver room.

With strong hands and great body control, he excels at making contested catches. I understand the concerns with his analytical profile and the Panthers' situation, but I think Legette is a great value in rookie drafts.
Trey Benson: Benson's explosive burst makes him a constant home run threat, capable of breaking off big runs. He has a sturdy frame with exceptional contact balance that allows him to churn out extra yards through contact. His immediate fantasy expectations should be tempered, as he will likely be in a timeshare or backing up James Conner for the 2024 season.
Roman Wilson: Roman Wilson is a dynamic slot receiver with explosive burst and reliable hands. Despite joining a run-heavy offense, he's poised to have an immediate path to targets.
Jermaine Burton: Jermaine Burton is a confident, assertive receiver, with polished route running and excellent hands—he didn't drop a single pass in 2023. While he lacks explosiveness after the catch and his character concerns have drawn attention, his talent and landing spot make him worth the gamble in rookie drafts.
Malachi Corley: Malachi Corley is a twitchy playmaker, with solid speed, and remarkable contact balance, which makes him one of the best yards-after-catch receivers in this draft class. Ben Sinnott: Ben Sinnott was my TE2 pre-combine—I absolutely loved everything on his tape. Watching his tape reminded me of a young George Kittle. His athleticism and twitchiness are top-tier, paired with aggression that shows up every play. Sinnott eagerly embraces blocking assignments and his coaches consistently find ways to get the ball in his hands. He secured second-round draft capital, landed on a team with an exciting rookie QB, and has minimal competition in the tight end room. Sinnott is setup for immediate success.
Ray Davis: Ray Davis has a thick build and low center of gravity which gives him exceptional contact balance. With fluid hips, solid burst, and consistently fighting for extra yardage, he projects to be the thunder to James Cook's lightning.
Javon Baker: Javon Baker is a former 4 star recruit that had offers from multiple major programs, before ultimately deciding to attend Alabama. After two seasons at Alabama he transferred to UCF, where he broke out. Baker is a crisp route runner, has great body control, and is twitchy with loose hips. He plays with attitude and tenacity and is a big play waiting to happen. When I watched his tape I instantly saw shades of Stefon Diggs—he is a player that I desperately want on my dynasty rosters.
Kimani Vidal: Kimani Vidal was a pre-draft sleeper I had my eye on—but I had concerns about his potential draft capital and landing spot making him irrelevant. Luckily, he was drafted by a team without a clear lead back, that projects to run the ball a lot. Vidal has great initial burst and twitchiness. His impressive college production and solid pass-catching skills makes him a great candidate for a late-round dart throw at running back.
Rasheen Ali: Rasheen Ali is a human highlight reel on the field—with incredible agility, explosive initial burst, and reliable hands, he's a versatile threat. Standing at 5'11" and weighing 206 lbs, he has the ideal size to shoulder a lead back role. However, his path to significant playing time is blocked by Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson. Ali is an excellent addition to the end of a roster or taxi squad, with huge upside when opportunities arise due to injuries.
Keilan Robinson: Keilan Robinson is an exciting running back prospect, that had multiple offers from major programs before ultimately committing to Alabama, and later transferring to Texas. Despite being 5'8" and 191 lbs, he plays much larger than his size suggests. Robinson has explosive burst, speed on demand, and great lateral agility—he absolutely explodes on tape. I think he is an interesting late-round dart throw or a priority UDFA pickup.

Round 2, Pick 33 - Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State:
NFL: After trading back twice on Thursday, the Bills stick at 33 and take a big, physical and athletically gifted target. Coleman isn't fast and isn't a deep threat, but he can win in a variety of ways. But who will Josh Allen's deep threat be? Stay tuned.
CBS Sports: C-. “X” receiver for a WR-needy team. Plays faster than his combine speed but doesn’t separate consistently and isn’t as good of a contested-catch wideout as his size and highlight-reel would indicate. Young though.
ESPN: After trading back twice, the Bills addressed the team's most significant position of need with Coleman, a big outside receiver with the ability to make splash plays -- 12 receiving touchdowns on contested catches since the start of 2022, second-most in the FBS, however, only a 31.7% contested catch percentage in 2023 -- to create separation and a release that general manager Brandon Beane described as "about as good as any." Beane acknowledged that while he's "probably not" going to run away from defenders, Buffalo feels his play speed is faster than the speed he showed at the combine -- 4.61 40-yard dash -- also noting that they liked his athletic ability that came from playing basketball. The Bills needed starting-level talent at outside receiver and Coleman, who turns 21 in May, fits into what Buffalo was looking for, while the team was still able to move back and add picks.

I feel like Tee is gonna have another meh year with the Bengals and then get traded to a team where he’ll be the dude and finally produce as a WR1. He’s struggled with hamstring injuries throughout his career though and it’s getting hard to overlook.
Benson and Brooks both need a year respectively too.
Benson will fight with James Conner for the workload in Arizona and will get his moments when JC is inevitably injured, then JC will be off contract after this season and Benson will be the starter.
Brooks will be coming off his ACL injury and they’ll probably slowly work up his snap count throughout the season. He obviously looked good enough to scouts that it didn’t impact his draft stock too much which is a good sign.
The question is, am I overpaying for an unproven rookie RB by giving up a guy that should be next in line after the bengals let him go? Or am I offloading an injury prone guy that will never reach his potential ceiling for a good value?
I rank Brooks and Benson similarly but who would you all take if you like this deal?
