This was my experience staying at the El Cortez Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas and taking the standard shuttle from the downtown lot on days 1 and 2 (I didn't stay for day 3).
The room I stayed in felt surprisingly fresh. It also had a refrigerator, which was nice for keeping some cool drinks.
The walk from the hotel to the shuttle lot was a quick 5-minute walk.
There were no lines for the standard shuttles at the downtown lot on either night. On Friday night, my shuttle departed at 8:41 PM and arrived at 9:57 PM, for a total trip time of 76 minutes. There was a long backup of buses leading into the drop-off area, which caused a longer-than-expected trip time. On Saturday night, the shuttle departed at 8:37 PM and arrived at 9:30 PM, for a total trip time of 53 minutes. There was no backup the second night.

Currently live in Albuquerque NM, and need money orders to be sent to a apartment in Las Vegas NV. To paranoid to send it via USPS, does anyone know of a company that will hand deliver money orders or something equivalent to the apartment complex? Yes I could ask a friend, but they all take public transit.
