2024.05.13 18:33 odonis Where to put a mod files in a GOG-based rip?
Downloaded a mod from steam workshop via third-party source, but don’t know where to put the files in the GOG-based rip.
Steam puts the files automatically into a ‘profiles’ folder, my GOG rip doesn’t have one. It has ‘saves’, I guess that will do, but the thing is that the mod has two files: res.pak and settings.json. ‘Saves’ has some .json file by default, so I guess I definitely can put this one there, too. But the res.pak already exists outside of ‘saves’ folder, it’s in the main one. I don’t think it’s a wise idea to replace the file, right? What do I do? I need to be able to turn off the mod at some point in the future, too…
I wish I could just download a steam rip, but all the trusted people like Fitgirl have only GOG version. I found one steam rip on, well, steamrips website, but it doesn’t have a torrent link, only a direct download that redirects me to some MegaDB, where I press download but the browser blocks it cause httpS is not available, only http. Idk if that’s safe to download from (not tech-savvy at all).
Sigh, I really need that damn mod. There are tons of game trainers on the internet that can do the same tweaks in the game, but I don’t think there’s a list of trusted trainers/cheats makers on the Megathread here, lol.

2024.05.13 13:00 tw_torta Turtle WoW — Patch 1.17.2: Jewelcrafting, Tower of Karazhan, Dungeon Updates and more!
| You're here! This is the changelog for the upcoming Patch 1.17.2 — Tower of Karazhan. In addition to content changes, it will feature a significant and long-anticipated class balance rework. This update will be published once discussions between game designers and comunicy class council about every specification are finalized. RELATED DEV BLOG POSTS NEW PRIMARY PROFESSION — JEWELCRAFTING Watch trailer: https://youtu.be/gRbfz0_sU1Y https://preview.redd.it/tvx9bauhc60d1.png?width=3390&format=png&auto=webp&s=5243c8e5c39a17c268b346e26489201a7a6e7ddf This fully-fledged profession introduces over 200 new items for you to craft, with recipes obtained from trainers, found in the world, and through exclusive questlines for Jewelcrafters that reward a unique recipe upon completion! Begin your jewelcrafting journey at the trainers located in Stormwind, Ironforge, and Alah'Thalas for the Alliance, or Orgrimmar, Undercity, and Sparkwater Port for the Horde. What can jewelcrafters expect? Rings, necklaces, staves, trinkets, off-hand frills, helmets, and notably, gemstones—details to follow. Not all items will be available immediately and will unlock as you progress in the profession. Expect new trade goods such as gritted papers, polishing oils, and new jewels like Amber Topaz and Pure Moonstone, to name a few. Jewelcrafting demands collaboration! Some materials will require assistance from other professions, such as Enchanted Gemstone Oils provided by Enchanters. The profession also introduces two new sub-specializations: Goldsmith and Gemology. You can choose one of these specializations upon reaching a skill level of 225 and character level 40, after completing a related questline, similar to other specializations. Goldsmiths focus on crafting equipment such as necklaces, rings, bracers, and staves, with most powerful items, such as Epics, exclusive to this specialization. Gemologists specialize in unique gemstones, empowering necklaces and rings with various effects. Almost all gemstones are exclusive to this specialization. Concerned about finding enough gems? We’re hosting a Gem Rush event until the release of Patch 1.17.2, which doubles the drop chances for most gemstones, with a few exceptions. Post-release, all Jewelcrafters will be able to craft Gemstone Clusters, enabling the recycling of materials to acquire more jewels than typically possible through mining. Additionally, rare Gemstone Deposits will now appear in the world. These deposits can replace thorium veins and require a Mining skill of 310. Mining these deposits can yield various gems from different tiers, but most notably, they guarantee an Imperial Topaz, a key material for both Gemology and Goldsmith specializations, akin to Black Lotus and vital for high-level crafts. 2024.05.11 06:56 StartStrong7814 AITAH for hating on my dumb coworkers?
So, I (24f) just started with a new company, I won't disclose the name for obvious reasons. But to keep it simple, it's a customer service role where you work from home.
Now, assume that anyone who applies has some basic technical skills, right? not IT skills, but just the ability to follow instructions given through visual walkthroughs on SOME PC stuff or understanding how to minimize a browser, right? You'd think so, but you're SO wrong.
I started training a couple of days ago, and first we just update our devices and download apps/software. No diving into the remote desktop software yet, just getting the software. Tell me why, not 1, but 12 different people struggle to download an update (Windows and Mac users) not only that, but 1 woman (Mac) was pulled forward to share her screen. This woman has a Mac from 2012 (anyone familiar with Apple products knows that updates eventually cease after a certain point) I understand issues of affordability, but I can't sympathize when you insist on Apple products.
This isn't the only instance where we take hours to get something done (mind you, we have to stay at our computers and be involved but also not go ahead in the training)
We finally finish all this "complicated" stuff of updating and downloading updates/apps (it took closer to an hour, because the same woman struggled with downloading an app from the app store)
we go to the next day, and have to navigate through the desktop software thing. The best way I can explain this for people who might not understand is that it's a separate window that puts you on a separate computer. So if the window is not maximized, you'll see 2 taskbars and so on. The trainer makes sure to tell everyone to please maximize the window to the software so they do not get confused. OF COURSE these girls struggle with the task. All they had to do was maximize the window to the program. That's it.1 of them had to share her screen multiple times because she just kept picking the wrong thing.
Then, we had to track our time. The instructor tried to move as slowly and as painstakingly clear as possible. Essentially, you have to input your time with the first half separate from the other half (8 am - 2 pm, 3 pm - 5 pm). We learned this at the end of the workday, ready to log off. But then it's back to 5 different ladies who just kept F*ing up, putting things everywhere but the timesheet.1 just typing on her email her times. We wait to get dismissed, but can't because of these ladies.
Since training, I can't stop griping about it to my spouse, dad, and my friend. My dad finds it hilarious, my spouse is indifferent, and my friend thinks I'm being an ass for speaking of them like this. I don't think I'm out of line. If you're a bit slow on the computer, you might do better in a physical setting. But wasting our time on trivial things before we get to the complex stuff is really tiring. Am I the asshole?

2024.05.11 00:02 TastyBananaPeppers [2024] How to buy cheap Poke Coins? #3 [May 2024 edition / All Methods Inside for iOS and Android]
| https://preview.redd.it/c5qxgn6bsnzc1.jpg?width=626&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=84c249755d5a3b0294e80a5be2048ada94215747 TABLE OF CONTENTS - Important Information
- Before you begin
- iOS methods
- Android methods
- Frequently Asked Questions
Important Information! I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Niantic game account(s) or money if you do this currency exchange exploit to buy cheaper Poke Coins. Spending money on this game will not prevent a strike (or ban) as the result of breaking Niantic's Terms of Service. Can you receive a strike (or ban) for doing this currency exchange exploit? Everyone's answer is a "no", but I think Niantic's answer could be a "yes" because they are the one who wrote their Terms of Service. When you receive a strike message on your account, it does not tell you exactly what you did. You do not know if it came from doing this exploit, from spoofing or botting, harassing someone in Campfire, live streaming your cheating, abusing the Niantic Wayfarer program, submitting bad routes, uploading poor quality AR+ scans, and/or etc. Since I do not keep a daily record of your actions, I do not know where you're strike came from. The best way to avoid a strike is not break Niantic's Terms of Service. "I don't see the violation listed in the Terms of Service." The Terms of Service is usually vague (lacks details) to prevent you from suing the company and winning in a US court system (other countries will be different). You have an interpretation, Niantic has their own interpretation. You will have to battle against their million dollar lawyers to see if your interpretation is correct and not at fault. Since I am not a lawyer, I will not decide for you. "You're ruining the currency!" If you can buy 3x 14,500 coins for about $90 USD. This is a deal. Who wouldn't go out of their way to get an extra 29,000 coins with their $100 or would you rather pay $100 for 1x 14,500 coins? "It's your fault for Niantic blocking a method!" It's really the fault of the cheap poke coin sellers or scammers who gave hints on how to do it. Once someone has figured it out and shared it with another person, it is no longer a secret because people love to brag about it. Someone was bound to fuck up and leaked the whole process. All the current working method have been made public. BEFORE YOU BEGIN!!! 1 - I do not own an iOS device like an iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer and therefore cannot help you with any problems related to these devices. 2 - Some methods will require a VPN, which will require money to use their service. If you plan to use a free VPN, they can steal or sell your data. 3 - If a method requires a Samsung Galaxy device, your Samsung device must have a locked bootloader, which cannot be rooted or cannot have custom software (for example: custom recovery like TWRP or custom rom like LineageOS, PixelROM, ASOP, etc). You must use the original Samsung's OneUI rom. 4 - The instructions below may not be clear, since I copied them from people messaging me and from a Discord group (https://discord.com/invite/cWFTvNF6V6). I added some touch-ups to the methods. The chart picture comes from the Discord group. 5 - Be prepare to waste time and money if something does not work or you don't get your new device on time to do a method. iOS Methods You can discuss iOS Poke Coin methods, but you are not allowed to discuss iOS spoofing methods because this is an Android only spoofing subreddit. Method #1 by someone... Requirements: - iPhone or iPad
- Apple AppStore gift card (India version)
Instructions: - Set your Apple ID to India.
- Go to Amazon.in (India version) and buy the Apple AppStore gift card for whatever amount you want, purchase it with Indian currency.
- Sign into Pokemon Go with the country set to India, and buy your Poke Coins
Notes: - You may get fraud alerts from your bank and you must approve them.
- The gift cards can take 5 minutes to 24 hours for it to appear in your email. If it takes longer, you might need to contact customer service.
- Buy the 14,500 coin pack, it's about $34.75 USD.
Method #2 by CallMeCloudyXD X country means any country with a cheap currency. Requirements: Instructions: - First you go to google and search “make new apple ID”.
- Create a new apple ID with the region being X country, and use a random matching country 's address for the billing address.
- For payment method, check “none” for the time being.
- After you’ve made the account, you go to the app store, click your profile at the top right, scroll down and click sign out.
- Sign into your new account and add itunes card then you sign into pogo and it should change the prices.
Notes: - Normally the prices are more expensive because of the way apple has their sales but it’s still discounted.
- Buy iTunes gift cards with the balance you want and then add it to your apple store funds. Cards must be for X country's Apple store. www.g2a.com and www.turgame.com are popular sites for buying.
- jfkmas1 said: " I can confirm it still works in ios (no necessary to create a new AppleID, using an old one by changing the country and adding GS prepaid card) . after some days, it prompts you to re-confirm prepaid card data as Expiration date and CVV, but it works perfectly (no vpn needed)" in chat with me.
Android Methods Method #1: Galaxy Store method - Brazil by phwa1 Requirements: - Samsung Galaxy Device with a locked bootloader
- Paid VPN app
- PayPal account
Link: https://new.reddit.com/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/comments/1cjorgv/androidsamsung_coin_method/ - $37 USD for 14,500 coins using Brazilian dollars.
Method #2: Galaxy Store method - Indonesia by https://discord.com/invite/cWFTvNF6V6 Requirements: - Must remove SIM card.
- Samsung Galaxy Device with a locked bootloader
- Indonesian phone number
- GoPay account
- VPN app
- PayPal account
- Xoom
Instructions: Step 1: Get an Indonesian phone number using the "TextMe" app. - $5 for one week
- $10 for one month
Step 2: Make a GoPay account using your Indonesian phone number; you will need to set up a PIN and add an email address as well. - You can download this on the Play Store.
- GoPay has an English option under settings.
Step 3: Buy PayPal USD also known as "PYUSD". - This is a cryptocurrency used by PayPal to avoid conversion fees on international money transfers.
- You can buy this using your credit/debit card or bank account.
Step 4: Download Xoom app. - This is a partner to Paypal which assists in sending international money transfers.
- This will avoid the 4.99 transaction fee but will be charged a $0.40 cent conversion fee instead.
When you use Xoom: - Click on ‘Send Money’
- Click ‘Indonesia’
- Click ‘Mobile Wallet’
- Click ‘GoPay’ and enter your Indonesian number
- Fill in the contact information
- On checkout select PYUSD.
Step 5: On your Samsung device, clear all of your storage data on the Galaxy store and Galaxy internet. - Remove your SIM and delete Pokemon Go.
- Use a VPN to Indonesia - there is a free VPN called TunnelBear on the playstore.
Step 6: Go on Galaxy internet, type in "Pokemon Go Indonesia Galaxy Store" and download it. Step 7: Sign into your Pokemon Go account and make your purchase, you will be prompted to add a payment method. - Select GoPay as your payment method, you will be taken over to GoPay to link your Galaxy Store to your GoPay account.
- Then, you should be able to make a purchase using your GoPay account.
Notes: - PayPal USD (PYUSD) is very sensitive. I made an $11 purchase originally, and I tried to make another $22 purchase to buy the 14,500 pack, but PYUSD didn't show as an option.
- The person said he called PayPal and they said: When using the crypto, you sometimes can't do it back-to-back and will have to wait a couple hours, up to 72 hours maximum. My advice would be to send $33 upfront to buy the 14,500 pack so you can avoid the wait time.
- When you're buying the 14,500 pack, you will be spending $33 USD because PayPal takes $1.50 conversion fee. The person recommends sending a dollar extra just to be safe.
- Overall price for first time purchase including cost of phone number is $38 for the one week phone number or $43 for the one month phone number. The person suggests doing this when you have enough money to buy large amounts of Poke Coins to avoid having to repurchase the phone number later on.
Method #3: Play Store - India by https://discord.com/invite/cWFTvNF6V6 Requirements: - Spoofing method to set Pokemon Go's location in India
- Paid VPN app
- PayPal account
Instructions - Remove Pokemon Go from your device
- Create 2 new Gmail accounts
- Go to families.google/families/
- Use one of your new Gmail accounts to create a google family group
- Invite your other new Gmail account to the family group
- Go to payments.google.com and login using your newest gmail account (the one you invited).
- Go to add payment method and add your debit/credit card (can be any currency).
- Add an Indian address - use any random address.
- Remove all Gmail accounts aside from your newest one that you added the payment method to.
- Download Pokemon Go - prices will still show in your country’s currency initially, but it changes to India currency whenever you click it.
Notes: - The account you use to create the family group doesn’t have to be new, but it can’t have changed its country location.
- So if you don’t have any accounts that still have their original location, make a new one.
Method #4: Play Store - Indonesia by Anonymous user Requirements: - Google Family Group account
- Personal Gmail account
- Ability to create a new Gmail account
Step 1: Create a GOOGLE FAMILY GROUP with your personal Gmail account. This account will be the family manager. Step 2: Using the Gmail app, create a new Gmail account for personal use. - Once created, invite the new Gmail account to the GOOGLE FAMILY GROUP.

Step 3: Go to google chrome browser and enter this link: https://payments.google.com/ - You will see a “add payment method” option or will be prompted to login to a Gmail account.
- Log in with the new Gmail account you just created.
- Then, you will see the credit card page.

Method #5: Niantic's Web Store - India by https://discord.com/invite/cWFTvNF6V6 Requirements: - Spoofing method to set Pokemon Go's location in India
- Paid VPN app
- PayPal account
Instructions - Spoof your Pokemon Go account to India.
- Search for "Niantic's Web Store" in Chrome app (or any web browser app) and use incognito mode with VPN to an India server.
- Press on the 15,500 pack and sign into your account.
- Buy the 15,500 pack on the website.
- Pay with PayPal to complete purchase!
Notes: - Make sure before you spoof, your account is logged out from all devices. (Adventure Sync fucks with currency after logging into webstore.
- Spoof (they used iMyFone AnyTo) to Indonesia Use VPN (they use NordVPN) and incognito and open webstore
- Click on product you want to buy then log in
- Use Paypal
- Only issue is it prevents you from purchasing after a few times and there is a "cooldown". (The person said he doesn't know how long this is but should be somewhere from 12-18 hours long (from his experience).
- If you’re having trouble using this method try logging in with your Pokemon Trainer Club account.
- To make this method work every time you have to buy the currency using another method just buy the 100 coin pack in your desired currency then the webstore will change guaranteed doing this method.

2024.05.10 07:22 Opaquer Today's daily (10/05/2024) 50 stage guide (with GUZZLORD!)
EDIT: SORRY IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY SAW/WERE READING ANOTHER VERSION OF THIS - I ACCIDENTALLY PUT THE WRONG DATE AND COULDN'T CHANGE IT, SO HERE'S THE UPDATED VERSION!
Hi everyone, I'm back again for another round of the daily!
So, exciting news today - we got a guzzlord on wave 34! Exciting news indeed!
As we've previously found, reloading the browser makes changes to the rng, so now I have notes when the browser has been reloaded so you can reload it too :). As per usual, sorry about the reloads - it'd be much easier if there weren't any, but I had some issues and instead of being able to restart I had to reload. Also there's at least one place where I've said to quit to menu and continue - I don't
think this is the same as a reload, so maybe don't reload and just quit to menu instead?
One thing is that I've got a test run happening in the background - I've tested this guide up to 15 to make sure I haven't missed any notes, but that's as far as I've gone so far, so from stage 16 onwards there might be some reloads missing. If so, let me know and I can update it, or if I get time to do more testing I'll update this note as I go.
ALSO: thanks to everyone who told me what browser they were using yesterday. If you guys don't mind, I'd like to gather a bit more data to try and figure out why some things work for some and not others, so if you do have any feedback (either that the guide worked or that there was an issue), would you be able to mention your browser again today? For reference I'm on firefox but yesterday we had people with
both firefox AND chrome who had the guide work perfectly, and also had people on firefox AND chrome who had an issue on a particular bit... doesn't quite make sense yet, but hopefully more data will help!
ALSO ALSO: we're still trying to figure out exactly what the relationship with reloading is. For now, if
when you need to reload, reload once you've chosen your pokemon for the battle, as, on average, that's when I would reload. I don't know if it'll make a difference, but it can't hurt to try and see what happens :)
As per the others, I'm still learning about all this, so sorry for any mistakes I've made - I probably missed at least a couple of reloads, but hopefully I got the majority of them.
A couple of things of note: firstly, guzzlord! We get it on wave 34 and catch it with a nice master ball :). This is my first time seeing and using a master ball, and seeing a legendary in a run, so this was all around very exciting! Also in this run there's a few max IV pokemon. I'll put them in a table here (and as a note on the wave) with the pokemon, the stage number and the IV, so you can try get it if you need it, and while I don't know about any other max IV pokemon, if people do manage to find others I can update this table - just let me know :)
Also, I found an ability charm on WAVE 49!! By then it was too late to figure out what to do with it, but if you want to try and rng it earlier, feel free to! Let me know if you find any HA pokemons with it!
Pokemon | Max stat (31) | Wave |
Wooloo | Def | 2 |
Cutiefly | HP | 8 |
Flaffy | Atk | 9 |
Raticate | HP AND Sp. Atk | 21 |
I think I actually did kinda well today - I think I might have missed a few pokemon but then caught them later in the run, so I
think I got all the unique pokemon at least, even if I didn't catch
every pokemon. I could be wrong though
With the below steps, if I haven't said to take a move when one is offered, that means to not learn it. For the table, there's two columns relating to moves - one for moves to take and one for moves to replace. For example, if the "Move(s) to take..." column has Headbutt and the corresponding row in the "... by replacing move(s)" column has Wrap, it would mean you need to replace wrap with headbutt at this stage when it's offered - and if during that stage a different move is offered, don't take it if it's not on the list. Also if there's multiple moves to be offered, the moves offered in the table are listed from top to bottom of the order you get them - so if you have something like the below, it means that Crunch will be offered before Headbutt will, which will be before Firethrower (and their associated replacements):
Move(s) to take... | ... by replacing move(s) |
Crunch | Vine whip |
Heatbutt | Astonish |
Firethrower | Water gun |
Also, if there are multiple waves back to back that have the same pokemon (or are within a few waves of each other), I'll label them as 1 and 2 - i.e. Linoone 1 and Linoone 2. This is to help avoid confusion if you're looking back and forth and trying to figure out where you're at
Lastly, with the steps below, if I don't say to switch out to a pokemon, that means you use the pokemon that's come out automatically.
With that, here's the guide:

2024.05.09 13:32 Opaquer Today's daily (09/05/2024) 50 stage guide (with some max IV pokemon)
Hi everyone
Sorry this is a bit later in the day, and while it may not be of help to everyone right now, hopefully it'll still be of some help! This one was an interesting one, especially some of the trainer battles and final boss!
As we've previously found, reloading the browser makes changes to the rng, so now I have notes when the browser has been reloaded so you can reload it too :). As per usual, sorry about the reloads - it'd be much easier if there weren't any, but I had some issues and instead of being able to restart I had to reload.
One thing is that I've got a test run happening in the background - I've tested this guide up to 29 to make sure I haven't missed any notes, but that's as far as I've gone so far, so from stage 30 onwards there might be some reloads missing. If so, let me know and I can update it, or if I get time to do more testing I'll update this note as I go.
ALSO - NEW NOTE: so, as we know reloading changes the rng, but the last guide I made had some weird rng going on as well. I have a theory I'd like to test out - if you're following the guide exactly and something in the rng changes and you end up with something different, like usual let me know, but also if you don't mind, let me know what browser you're using. I have a sneaking suspicion that different browsers handle rng differently, so something that might work for me may not work for everyone, so I'd like some data on that :)
As per the others, I'm still learning about all this, so sorry for any mistakes I've made - I probably missed at least a couple of reloads, but hopefully I got the majority of them.
A couple of things of note: in this run there's quite a few max IV pokemon. I think I've missed some (I realised part way through that I had been forgetting to look at IVs), but I've seen at least 10 (including one with two max stats!) I'll put them in a table here (and as a note on the wave) with the pokemon, the stage number and the IV, so you can try get it if you need it, and while I don't know about any other max IV pokemon, if people do manage to find others I can update this table - just let me know :)
Pokemon | Max stat (31) | Wave |
Linoone | Atk | 7 |
Linoone | Def | 8 |
Dewott** | HP | 11 |
Azumarill | Atk | 16 |
Seaking | Sp. Atk | 19 |
Swalot | HP | 23 |
Banette | HP | 31 |
Greavard | HP AND Atk | 33 |
Liepard | Sp. Def | 42 |
Umbreon | Sp. Atk | 47 |
** for the Dewott on wave 11, I tried my hardest to catch it, but I couldn't, no matter what I did. If you want it, you can try catch it but the rest of the guide from there might be off.
Edit: while the table above is a list of the max stat IVs that have been confirmed, below is a list of pokemon that people have told me about - note that going for them may change how the run is handled, and might change the rng, making the run not work.
Pokemon | Max stat (31) | Wave |
Swalot | Speed | 24 |
Overall there were a few pokemon I couldn't catch - Dewott on wave 11, Seismitoad on wave 26 and Gusknoir on wave 34. Sorry about that, I did my best - I'll mention that in the waves as well
With the below steps, if I haven't said to take a move when one is offered, that means to not learn it. That said, here's the whole list:
(also, if there are two waves back to back that have the same pokemon, I'll label them as 1 and 2 - i.e. Linoone 1 and Linoone 2. This is to help avoid confusion if you're looking back and forth and trying to figure out where you're at)
With that, here's the guide:

Reward: DAILY DONE!
With that, that's today's daily done! I should be back with tomorrow's a lot earlier than this (hopefully within a few hours of when the daily releases), but in the meantime, let me know how you guys go - any issues or comments or anything, and have fun and good luck with your eggs!

2024.05.07 07:50 Opaquer Today's daily (07/05/2024) 50 stage guide (with some max IV pokemon)
Hi everyone
Firstly I just wanted to apologise for yesterday's guide - I don't know what happened, but for those who tried to follow it I must have made a colossal error somewhere while notetaking, because from wave 8 onwards things didn't follow as they should have. for their help and support for Saturday's daily guide. I gave it a shot at today's challenge, but IRL stuff happened so it's taken a bit longer to get this out than I was planning, and I didn't quite get to do all the testing I wanted to - I did start a brand new run on a new account and got up to stage 12 without issue, so definitely better than yesterday's guide, but hopefully the worst mistakes I've made are a few missed reloads here and there.
As we've previously found, reloading the browser makes changes to the rng, so now I have notes when the browser has been reloaded so you can reload it too :). As per usual, sorry about the reloads - it'd be much easier if there weren't any, but I had some issues and instead of being able to restart I had to reload. I've heard that if you reload once that's all that matters, but I'm going to put every time I reloaded as a just in case :)
As per the others, I'm still learning about all this, so sorry for any mistakes I've made - I probably missed at least a couple of reloads, but hopefully I got the majority of them.
A couple of things of note: in this run there's quite a few max IV pokemon. I didn't even look at the IVs I got until later on when I was testing, and so far I've got 4 max IVs out of 12 stages. I'll put them in a table here (and as a note on the wave) with the pokemon, the stage number and the IV, so you can try get it if you need it, and while I don't know about any other max IV pokemon from wave 12 onwards, if people do manage to find others I can update this table - just let me know :)
Pokemon | Max stat (31) | Wave |
Fletchinder | Sp. Def | 4 |
Doduo | HP | 9 |
Tauros | Speed | 10 |
Herdier | Sp. Def | 12 |
Bolthund | HP | 18 |
Watchog | Sp. Atk | 21 |
Edit: While the above table is a list of pokemon that have been tested, there's been a lot of comments from people in the community who have found some other pokemon with max IV stats - this table below has them listed:
Pokemon | Max stat (31) | Wave |
Scrafty | Def | 32 |
Gurdurr | Atk | 39 |
Magnezone | Sp. Atk | 38 |
Note that the above haven't been fully tested so may be a little off, but hopefully they're right.
Also for the above, while the scrafty at wave 32 might indeed be a max def IV, I couldn't find a way to catch it for this guide and had to kill it. That said, you could always follow the guide up to the scrafty and catch it if you're in need and don't care about the rest of the guide
Secondly, there's a garbodor on stage 23 that I could not catch while keeping my sanity, so I killed it. There's also a scrafty on wave 32 that had the same issue. As far as I can remember, these were the only pokemon we don't catch through the run
That said, here's the whole list:

Reward: DAILY DONE
With that, it should be all done! As I said, sorry again for yesterday's guide - hopefully today's is better! If you have any questions or issues (or even that the guide has worked perfectly!) let me know! I'll try do some more testing a little later but I've got some family over, so might not have a chance to (as a side note, I won't be doing a guide tomorrow, but hopefully I'll be back on track the day after if all goes well!).
Enjoy!

2024.05.06 05:39 Opaquer Today's daily (06/05/2024) 50 stage guide (with shiny charm)
Hi everyone
So thanks again to everyone for their help and support for Saturday's daily guide. I had a bit of time so decided to do today's challenge!
As we've previously found, reloading the browser makes changes to the rng, so now I have notes when the browser has been reloaded so you can reload it too :). Sorry there's quite a few reloads, I had some issues and instead of being able to restart I had to reload. I've heard that if you reload once that's all that matters, but I'm going to put every time I reloaded as a just in case :)
As per the others, I'm still learning about all this, so sorry for any mistakes I've made - I didn't get a chance to test everything as much as I wanted to, but hopefully it's all mostly there (though knowing me, I might have made a couple of mistakes still). I probably missed at least a couple of reloads, but hopefully I didn't. I've been trying to be better with recording them but I don't know how well I did.
A couple of things of note: On stage 38 I was offered a Shiny Charm. I decided to
not take it, and if you want to do the guide letter for letter you shouldn't either, but if you do want to take the charm to try get some extra shiny pokemon, it might be worth it, I just don't have any ideas on how to make it work to the end. Secondly, there's a nidoqueen on stage 26 that I could not catch for the life of me, so I had to kill her. As far as I can remember, this is the only pokemon we don't catch through the run
That said, here's the whole list:
EDIT: Sorry everyone, I've royally messed up somewhere. Specifically, by wave 8. Everything goes perfectly until then, but somehow I missed something REALLY important because the guide for wave 8 says you should be able to one shot the golett and then catch the cubone, but when you actually do it, the golett doesn't die in one shot and then throws everything else off. At this stage, we might have to call this one a dud for now - though there are some amazing people in the comments trying to figure out how to do it, and so if you come across this and it's not working, check the comments and see if there's an update. If I see one that's working I'll update this post too to mention it when I wake up. Sorry again, but hopefully you all still get to complete the daily!

2024.05.04 12:53 Opaquer Today's daily (04/05/2024) 50 stage guide
Hi everyone
So firstly I'd like to thank everyone for their help and support for yesterday's daily guide I did. Sorry this is a bit late today, but I decided to do another one for today's daily challenge. Also as a heads up since people were asking me - I don't plan on doing this
every day, but would like to the days that I can. That said, I won't be doing it tomorrow, but next week I'll try to get most of them out :)
Based on yesterday, we found out that reloading the browser makes changes to the rng, so now I have notes when the browser has been reloaded so you can reload it too :). Sorry there's quite a few reloads, I had some issues and instead of being able to restart I had to reload. I've heard that if you reload once that's all that matters, but I'm going to put every time I reloaded as a just in case :)
As per yesterday, still very new to all this with this being my second guide, so sorry if there's issues in it - it's been super busy so haven't had a chance to check it as much as I'd like, but hopefully it's good
A couple of things to note - I'm really sorry but 3 pokemon got away: golem on wave 33 kept exploding no matter what I did and killing himself, so I couldn't do anything for him, and then staraptor and corviknight on waves 44 and 47 respectively
both had brave bird and would either a) kill themselves before I could find a way to catch them or b) leave us with too little health for upcoming battles. I'm sure there might be a way to do it, but I couldn't find it and thought I'd rather just get this out as a just in case :)
Also, I didn't find out until afterwards but apparently the pidgeot on wave 49 can have a hidden ability. I didn't know at the time, so didn't check, but if you get there and find out, let me know and I can update it! Edit - people have indeed confirmed it's a hidden ability pidgeot - thanks everyone!
That said, here's the whole list:
Edit: once again thanks to
valoraeon for finding a few things I missed from the guide! I've updated the appropriate waves below!

2024.05.03 09:55 Opaquer Today's daily (03/05/2024) 50 stage guide
Hi all
I know the news about the candies may make this not as appealing, but for me there were still quite a few pokemon I hadn't got before, though I am still very new to the game, so I thought I'd put this guide together for the daily if anyone wants to play along. I've never done this before so am not 100% sure how it works, but as far as I can tell I caught all of the pokemon I came across, but I reloaded a few times testing things out, and someone has said it affects the RNG, so take things with a grain of salt. Also I only started playing a couple of days ago, so there's a lot I'm still learning about, but hopefully what I've got is pretty accurate!
That said, here's the whole list:
Edit (this is fixed, see next edit!): sorry guys, I swear this worked before, but it seems like wave 6 is now showing up as golbat and linoone instead, and that things get funky from then on out. I must have written something down differently to what I did. If anyone can figure out how to get the same as what we have below instead of golbat and linoone, let me know, or if you have a way to beat it from wave 6 onwards and get it back on track, that would be good too! Thanks, and sorry for this!
Edit 2: Thanks to
Alpha_james for figuring it out for wave 6. Apparently reloading your browser changes the rng, which I didn't know - in a few battles when I went to reset them the game froze and I had to reload the browser. For wave 5 in the trainer battle, reload the browser after the battle has started but before you kill the pokemon. This will make your encounter at wave 6 oink and Fletch like the guide says, and hopefully it'll continue from there to be right. I'll do more testing tomorrow but hopefully this is back on track enough to keep working again, but if anyone else finds other battles that need to be reloaded at in the meantime, let me know and I'll update it here too. I've also since had a few people say this one reload is all that's needed, so you should be good from here on out! Good luck!
Edit 3: Just made some small changes thanks to
valoraeon where some things weren't 100% clear
Stage 1:
Wave 1: Mightyena Steps:
- Pokeball
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
Fury Cutter | Focus Energy |
Reward: Pokeballs
Wave 2: Oinkologne Steps:
- Pokeball x 2
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
Swagger | Leer |
Reward: Great balls
Wave 3: Bibarel Steps:
- Switch to Mightyena
- Sand attack x 2
- Bite x 2
- Pokeball
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
None | None |
Reward: Hyper potion Bibarel
Wave 4: Oinkologne and Fletchinder Steps:
- Switch Wiglett to Dewott
- Use bite and razor shell on Oink

- Take out Bibarel to replace Mightyena
- Pokeball
- Replace Mightyena
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
Headbutt | Wrap |
Reward: Potion Dewott
Wave 5: Trainer NOTE FOR THIS WAVE: After the fight starts but before you kill the trainer, physically reload the browser. Doing this means you get oink and fletchinder as the next encounter, otherwise you get golbat and linoone, and things get messy from there.
Steps:
- Use hyperfang on Pachirisu, swap out Dewott to Oink
- Use hyperfang on Pachirisu and mud shot on Pachirisu
- Use rollout and covet
- Swap Bibarel for Audino, covet Emolga
- Zen headbutt, covet
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
Water Pulse | Soak |

- Great ball
- Swap Meowth for Alakazam
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
Crunch | Growl |
Reward: Super potion Fletch
Wave 10: Linoone NOTE FOR THIS WAVE: It seems like the items linoone has are either randomised or change if you restart the battle. When I made this guide, I had to restart battles a lot to figure out the best way that works, and it's possible that for this fight, linoone had an item that got used up when I used flame charge, meaning my acrobatics did more damage since linoone didn't have any items any more. However, it seems like playing this through doesn't necessarily have the same effect, so if you do a flame charge and an acrobatics and it still has too much health to catch, do another acrobatics after the first one and you should be good to go
Steps:
- Switch to Fletch
- Flame charge
- Acrobatics
- Great ball
Move(s) to take | ... by replacing move(s) |
None | None |
Reward: Stage end
Stage 2:
Wave 11: Dewott NOTE FOR THIS WAVE: I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to catch it without using 3+ balls, so decided to kill it - sorry! If you try to catch it a different way, it may change the run down the line

2024.04.28 18:53 drewstillwell Journey to Monolith - Strategic turn-based roguelite with Pokemon-style combat
Yo! I am the solo developer of Journey to Monolith and wanted to share the demo with everyone!
Check it out on Steam! Or try it in-browser on itch.io! Journey to Monolith has had several iterations and evolved a lot over the multiple years I have been working on it part-time as the solo developer. My primary inspiration came from Pokemon Showdown's random battle system, a somewhat-competitive format on the unofficial battle simulator that gives you a semi-random team of fighters so you can duke it out with other trainers with their own semi-random team.
The single-player prototype I threw together with my own randomly generated fighters was fun, but there was little sense of progression when your entire team was generated at the start of the game. Taking further inspiration from card-based roguelike games such as Slay the Spire and the draft format of TCG's like Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone, I trimmed the initial fighter numbers to just one or two - allowing the player to slowly recruit more fighters to their team as they play and win battles.
When I learned that Counterplay Games had released their original assets from Duelyst open-source, I knew there was a huge opportunity to leverage not only the art and audio assets provided, but also take advantage of the sprawling lore and world-building that existed in their game. The General system from Duelyst also fit right in with my gameplay loop of starting with a single character! This allowed me to give each general their own unique identity and ability that the player could build around as they progress through each run, and the multiple factions let me explore different mechanics within each and give the player tons of options to express themselves with as they build their team.

2024.04.23 22:14 curious9012 Burn monitor not syncing with Live classes
Does anyone who takes Live classes have this problem? I like seeing my heart rate on the laptop. Sometimes it doesn’t connect at all or it loses connection and I have to keep pairing it again. I’ve contacted support, doing all the things that was recommended and I still have trouble syncing my monitor to the laptop. I use chrome, all browsers and other applications are closed, cleared cache and history, no other Bluetooth devices connected. I’m starter to wonder if it has to do with connection on the trainer’s side because I seem to always have connection with 1 specific trainer.

2024.04.21 09:28 prefrontcortex My (F26) boyfriend (M28) of 5 years is watching explicit material again, do I hold myself accountable to the boundary I set?
And honestly it’s “he probably just got caught this time”.
We’ve been dating since college and about a year and a half into the relationship the sex stopped like completely and that’s not normal for a 22/23yo and a 24/25 year old- I felt really bad about myself and had a few breakdowns about it and it came out that he was masturbating 5x a day, everyday. He said he would try to stop. Cue me being 24 and drunk another break down because we’re still not having sex a lot and he’s still jacking off, not coming during sex when we have it, going soft ect… and was looking at girls instas. Like porn sure I get honestly until this whole ordeal I didn’t care about porn, lowkey still whatever but the girls insta thing? I thought that was fucking CREEPY. He put parental blockers on himself deleted all the insta girls and seemed to be putting in actual work…
Now come to tonight I just had a bad feeling checked his phone bam porn in the browsers on the phone history. Now I feel quilty about checking the phone but he’s a personal trainer and has a very weird relationship with a female client too… (if you want context on that just ask)
While that’s besides the main point- the break down I had about the second porn incident I told myself “he watched porn again I’m done” because of all the issues around sex and how that made me feel. And our sex life isn’t not great now but we don’t live together and I figured that’s what happens when your together for so long … we maybe have sex once every other month now?
So- I made that “promise to myself” in a extreme time - I know we are allowed to have our own boundaries but like I mean I think porn in reason is fine but it’s a very slippery slope here in my situation, also I should probably have some self respect for myself ugh
I know there is tons of these stories all over Reddit so thank you for your input

2024.04.21 03:20 No_Principle7425 Trainerize is a pile of poo
Hey guys,
I'm a new coach and have been using trainerize. Am I missing something or is this app actually a pile of shit? It's so clunky. And there's a ridiculous amount of bugs. For example, I cannot use the progression spreadsheet editor. The free text field just doesn't work. Eg, I can't edit the text that's in there. If I duplicate a workout, it hangs and crashes. Half the important text i want to read just gets cut off and theres no way to scroll or expand. I cannot change the sequence of exercises in a workout on android but i can on ios. Drag and drop doesnt work. I'm on both android and ios devices and multiple browsers.
I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong or missing here as this app seems to be the "default" industry standard. So I'm sure it's me or something I'm doing that's wrong. Because there is no way such a successful app can be this bad. Is everyone else on a windows desktop?

2024.04.16 01:14 duckwaiter A list of things my boomer MIL does.
Spouse & I recently moved my mother in law out of a bad situation, into our apartment. I've tried to limit this list to
boomer shit while avoiding
typical bad roommate shit and
recently in a traumatic situation shit, but there's a lot of overlap. I also want to point out that she is absolutely not a special needs adult, aside from what I presume to be a predictable amount of lead exposure.
And yes, I absolutely want her out, but that would make her homeless, which isn't acceptable.
Yet. A rant on my throw-away account will have to suffice for now. This is not a complete list.
- Is obsessively, penetratingly humiliated that she doesn't have a job or any money at 60-something, due to decades of very poor financial decisions. Is constantly doing absurd things to "save money," most of which only work out to a savings of a few pennies:
- Uses 20~30 paper towels at a time while doing dishes, then hangs them up all over the kitchen to dry & re-use. We've shown her the whole drawer of cloth towels.
- Refuses to own more than two shirts. We bought her some $3 shirts from a thrift store; she's left them in a stack in our common space & refuses to acknowledge them.
- Washes & dries her "laundry" in the bathroom. Our apartment complex has a laundry room, and costs less than $4 for a complete wash/dry cycle.
- Doesn't shower, but blows through a package of wet-naps in about a week.
- She arrived with a bunch of savage little dogs, which she's not capable of caring for, but loses her mind when we try to discuss re-homing them...
- Tells us the same story about how a pet-trainer once told her "some dogs just can't be trained." This is her excuse whenever one of them does something that could easily be fixed with training:
- Insists the dogs don't bark, often while they're actively barking.
- If male dog is able to get into our room, he pees on our bed. She insists it's our fault somehow.
- If two specific dogs are put together, they will literally attempt to kill each other. When asked if she thinks that's problematic, she repeats the same old story about how they used to be best friends, and refuses to discuss it further.
- Despite making it clear multiple times that dogs are absolutely not allowed to pee inside the apartment for any reason, ever, we occasionally catch her letting the dogs use pee-pads indoors, because "it's too hard to take them all out for three walks every day." Naturally, she's not interested in re-homing a couple dogs to make walks easier. Her room reeks.
- Weird shit based on absurd boomer logic:
- We've caught her spraying down the dishes in the dry-rack with disinfectant. We've attempted to explain to her that disinfectant is literally poison, and it doesn't go on things we eat from. Her explanation is some flavor of "disinfectant makes things more healthy."
- Has disabled GPS on her phone, so they can't track her movements. Tries to get directions using Google maps in her browser, not the app; gets frustrated after about 45 seconds, then angrily demands we tell her how to get to the post office, or other places around town.
- Hoards cans of beans way faster than she eats them, and has 2 big plastic totes full of miscellaneous medicines. She has no prescriptions.
- When she hears my spouse & I joking around with each other, she'll interrupt with:
- A) a line from an old song that's tangentially related to what we're talking about, then stand there expecting us to laugh as if it was a joke, or
- B) say something really insulting, and stand there expecting us to laugh as if it was a joke.

2024.04.11 05:38 spectrette Think Atrioc should checkout PokeRogue
Atrioc mentioned on stream a while ago wanting to play one of those enhanced-difficulty fan-made pokemon games on stream. The biggest obstacle here I'd imagine is the length of them and I think Pokerogue could be a way around this.
For those who don't know Pokerogue is an in-browser pokemon roguelike game that has been gaining more traction lately where the entire game is consecutive battles (some with wild pokemon you can add to your team, some with trainers) with the player being granted items between battles. The lack of story saves time and makes it less important for viewers to see more of the run. The generation of battles is also somewhat random so chat couldn't spoil stuff. Entire successful runs take just a few hours and even if he never chooses to complete it successfully (it isn't that hard but idk his familiarity with pokemon) it is less unsatisfying than if he chose not to complete a game with a story.
Could be a good way to balance his wanting to play a pokemon game with his (probably) lack of wanting to commit to one that would take at least a few streams, plus he has enjoyed some roguelikes in the past.

2024.04.06 15:05 JLind_ Supergliding help
EDIT: Turns out it was my keyboard latency set to 16ms factory default. My dumbass didn't install it's software thinking it was just a waste of space. Thanks to
u/PWNY_EVEREADY3 for the tip!
DISCLAIMER: I know this is a skill issue, not blaming anything other than myself but I cannot for the life of me find a way to solve this, thanks for your time!
I have been playing this game since day 1. I have 1k hours on steam and about 200 on EA. I found out about superglides about a year ago but only recently started practising it deliberately.
I'm running the game comfortably on 240 fps, it rarely dips especially in firing range (read never). I have my jump set to space & scroll down. I have managed to hit a superglide randomly in game but I suspect frame drops have helped me in these cases. I can sometimes drop to 180 ish in certain scenarios. In any case, it is extremely rare and the times I've managed to hit it have been while scrolling down and trying to time my ctrl crouch.
That being said, I've spent maybe a collective 4 hours now over a few days in the range trying to hit it with scroll + ctrl, space + ctrl, and even space + c/v/b.
Not once, not even by a fluke have I managed to hit it. I'm at thousands attempts on the superglide trainer, both on different browsers & powershell script with the same settings. Not even once can I manage to hit it on 240. On 60 it's super easy but even working my way up it just becomes impossible for me.
Closest I get on 240 is "Crouch later by 1.04 frames (0.00434 sec)" and this number refuses to go any closer no matter what technique I use.
Any ideas?

2024.04.06 08:12 jaxxisx Is anyone getting access denied?
There is a qual asking to use a trainer account to open something, but no matter what I try/on what browser I try, it just gives me "access denied". Is anyone else having this issue? (I am 100% logged in correctly. I did it like 4 times and cleared history/cache :) )

2024.04.05 18:07 Low-Sky-4812 I violated HIPAA, will I get fired?
This is my very first hospital job. I’ve been employed with them for about 3 months now. Out of no where today, my manager calls me and tells me he received a HIPAA violation in my name. He tells me he set up a meeting for Thursday with the people who run HIPAA- he said there could be repercussions.
Well this is what happened..
It was my 3rd week of training. My trainer and I were talking about work and I mentioned that my mom worked at this same hospital. He asked her name because he wanted to see if he knew her. We were sitting at a desk and the laptop was logged into my work account (Epic). He searched my mom’s name on my account. It made me a little uncomfortable that he was searching her name especially because all of her info showed up. It was her patient information not her employee info. He looked at her pic and said he didn’t know her. He closed the browser.. I grew curious and searched a few more names..
Since my trainer was doing it, I thought it was okay. I didn’t know it was a HIPAA violation.. my trainer has been there for years, I figured he would know better??? It’s my very first health care job, I really had no clue. I only did it once on that day. I haven’t done it since.
Now I feel like I will get fired 😢
